There’s nothing than having a good night’s sleep, I don’t know how long I was dozing but I was awoken by the bright sun rays that shone on my face.

I woke up yawning and stretching myself excitedly, I felt good all over my body, I rubbed my blurry eyes to see clearly, as I sat up I looked around the room.. It was quite messy but there was no one around.. I tried to remember what happened last night but I couldn’t, So I got out from bed and went to stand in front of my body mirror , I glared at my body for while and noticed some few things around me.. My bre&sts were a bit enormous and her butt was quite bodacious, my body looked a bit more younger and slender than before, as I began to touch myself especially my t__ts, I noticed milk dripping out slowly from my n+pples… I was surprised when I saw this.. I couldn’t help but ask myself what had happened to my body?

After examining my body for a while, I went into the toilet to take my bath… While in the toilet, I was busy m__ning slowly as the warm shower ? ran through my body, scrubbing my body with my hands gave me added pleasure.. after spending about half an hour in the shower, I came out of the toilet wrapping my body with a towel, I went over to my dressing mirror and took my phone to check if anyone had called me, As I scrolled through the phone, I saw 2 text messages, I tapped on them and saw one from Bimpe and one from Riley, I opened the one from Riley to see what was in it.

“Good morning love, hope you slept well? , sorry for leaving so early.. Something came up.. I’ll be back in the evening to keep you company.. P. S.. I’ve made you some breakfast, it’s in the kitchen.. See you later ”

I smiled after reading the text, it’s kind of romantic for a man to prepare breakfast for the woman he loves.. But I wonder what came up that Riley had to leave so early, we were supposed to spend quality time with each other, after all we just celebrated our engagement last night. Any well I hope its nothing serious.. I checked Bimpe’s text and saw what was in it, all she sent was *Call me*… I hissed in annoyance and dialed her number it didn’t take long before she answered.

Christen ➡ Hello!

Bimpe ➡ My my.. What’s with the harsh voice? Well good morning..

Christen ➡ Morning.. What do you want?

Bimpe ➡ So what did you think about last night?

Christen ➡ Last night???

It was then my memory flashed inside my head, Everything that happened last night came pouring back inside my cerebrum.. Though I didn’t want to believe it, what’s done had been done and if I’m being honest with myself, I loved and enjoyed every second of it.

I hung up the call before she could even continue… I couldn’t believe this stuff is permanent… And that worst part was if it were some spell or magic I could have easily canceled it but no… Now I have to leave the rest of my life looking like a bimbo SL&t.

After that, I went down to the kitchen to see the food Riley and prepare for me, upon getting to the kitchen, I heard some noise coming out of my storage room, as I opened it, Cassandra jumped out of it sweating like a goat waiting for slaughter.

Christen ➡ What were you doing in there? Don’t tell me you’ve been here since last night?

Cassy ➡ (hisses) Mtcheew! You’re going to see… You keep me in that stuffy room for hours and you claim you know nothing of it.. You’ll see.

Christen ➡ Yeah. Whatever.. Leave my house.

Cassy left the house murmuring some curses under her breath, I shut the door behind her and went to the kitchen to eat my breakfast.. The meal ? that Riley had prepared was fried egg, some toasted bread and tea laced with milk and cocoa powder, I inhaled the delicious aroma before me and my stomach grumbled, I placed everything inside a tray and teleported myself back to my room, as I sat comfortably on my bed, I began to dig in but then something unexpected happened.. As I took a bite from the fried egg, I realised it tasted awful and terrible, I quickly spat it out of my mouth.. I couldn’t believe what just happened.. Did Riley messed up somewhere? Besides can he even cook? I dropped the egg and decided to manage with the tea and egg, as I tasted both of them at once, I got the same result, they were worst than the egg, I threw the plate straight into the wall in anger… Was Riley trying to kill me?… No he wouldn’t do something like that maybe one of my cousins was playing a trick on me..

Unable to have a decent breakfast, I decided to wear my clothes, I wore a short skirt and a loose T-shirt, after that, I went downstairs to clean the house.

Minutes later as I was almost done, I got a visit from my brother Oliver.. Judging from the look on his face I know something had happened..

Oliver ➡ Morning sister…

Christen ➡ Morning.. So you dare to show your face huh? Where were you last night?

Oliver ➡ What are you talking about? I came.. Ask Judith.. You and Riley were absence when I came, so I spent some time and went off.

Oliver ➡ Obaro and Amelia are dead.. Monife confirmed it to me this morning and thanks to her, the cult are now in disarray, any minute now, they’ll crumble.

Christen ➡ And what’s the bad news?

In that moment, a knock was heard on my door, I felt lazy to walk and open the door so I used my magic, as the door opened Grandma wuroala walked in, Oliver and I both greeted her as she sat next to me, but then I realized she wasn’t her usual self.

Wuroala ➡ congratulations my dear.. I heard you had a wonderful event last night.. Sorry I couldn’t make it.

Christen ➡ Its okay.. So how are you? You look off.

Wuroala ➡ Oh I’m fine.. So I came here to……..

Oliver ➡ Is something wrong Grandma?

Oliver and I were both taken aback by my Grandma’s stare which was on me.. She fixed her gaze on me for while before doing something that I couldn’t understand, she placed her hands on my thigh and began to rub me gently pulling it up wards, I twitched as I felt her hands on my skin.. Her hands then reached up and touched my stomach which she rubbed continuously, shortly after that, her eyes widened and she removed her hands..

Wuroala ➡ Christen!

Christen ➡ Yes ma.

Wuroala ➡ Tell me.. Have you noticed any changes in you?

Christen ➡ Uh.. No.

Oliver wasn’t happy about this at all, in fact shortly after my grandma said that, he stood up and left the house… Well I don’t care what he thinks. I’m finally going to be a mother and I’m now bonded with Riley for life.

Wuroala ➡ Well there’s something you should know first.. You see.. When a witch gets pregnant, things get quite crazy.. Like for instance there’s a huge difference between human females and witches.

Christen ➡ Like how?

Wuroala ➡ Like for instance, when a humans gets pregnant, they put on excessive weight and their facial features changes.. But for us witches we don’t get weight and we remain the way we are except for the baby bump of course. And when it comes to love making, the humans don’t have s&x like they use to but for witches, that’s when their primal desires and lust are unleashed, $*x is always in demand Plus the seed of our male partners makes us look much younger. And lastly when it comes to diet, that’s where things get a bit intense.

Wuroala ➡ You know we eat the same foods as the humans right?

Christen ➡ Yes.

Wuroala ➡ Good.. But that’s not our real or main source of nutrient or food. When a witch gets pregnant all this human foods becomes harmful to her at this period, the once sweet taste will turn bad and terrible.

I gasped in shock when I heard that… No wonder, I couldn’t eat my breakfast.. My taste buds have changed due to my pregnancy, so no more ice cream ?, plantain or other delicious treats and I’ll have to stay like that for 9 good months.

Christen ➡ So what do I eat then? I can’t starve my baby.

Wuroala ➡ Don’t worry.. There’s a way out.. There’s something that you need to eat to keep yourself and your baby healthy and it’s not something you like..

Christen ➡ What is it?

I couldn’t believe this… So now I have to eat and drink blood so that my baby could survive.. I had no idea this pregnancy stuff was like this.. Now I’m starting to regret being pregnant now.. There’s no way I’m going to drink and eat flesh and blood.

You can take a fresh cow milk and the natural honey ?, those are the two things you can taste but try taking some meat and blood every once in a while.. Understand?

Suddenly, my grandma collapsed to the ground, I quickly rushed to her aid to see what I could do, I wanted to help her but she stopped me from doing so.

My grandma slowly sat up and looked at me, she then bought her right arm forward and showed me something terrible, on her arm there was a long scar wound , this time around she coughed again bringing out blood.

My Grandma reached out and touched my head, the moment she did that, my skull jolted as if my brain was electrocuted, shortly after that, I saw myself in a different surrounding.. As I looked around the place, I felt some kind of familiarity, before long, I realized this place was Ibadan.. This whole place was covered plants and trees, then in that moment, I saw my grandma behind me.

Wuroala ➡ This place is ibadan 1300 years ago, I was 20 years old at the time..

As we went in, her past images kept showing in our presence, in that moment, I saw a younger grandma talking angrily at one witch…. Her face and body was covered but there was something on her that I noticed.. It was my mother’s necklace. I wanted to talk but my grandma told me to keep quiet and observe..

I watched as the younger version of grandma throw a magic spell at the strange witch before her but then something unexpected happened, The witch rebounced the spell back to grandma and quickly casted a #Trinity_spell on her, after that the witch walked up to her and casted Rose’s shadow spell on her binding her completely, I was stunned when I saw this.. What kind of witch was this? She had used two different magic entities at once which was the magic of light and darkness, no witch not even the Supreme witch has this kind of power. The witch now stood over the younger wuroala and told her the rest of the prophecy.

Strange witch ➡ You see the way you are, unable to do anything, that’s how you’ll be when prophecy unfolds before your very eyes .. You can’t do anything to change it.. Centuries to come in this spot, you’ll hear the news of your granddaughter’s pregnancy… Mark my words.. This has already been written in the book of fate.. Your future bloodline will have a trace of human blood running through them and there’s nothing you and the others can do about it..

After that the witch canceled her spell and even freed grandma from the Trinity spell, the only person who could do that was the Supreme witch, after that the witch faded out of sight.. After that we were back to our normal and present self.. I couldn’t believe that forest would be my house in the future.. I couldn’t believe Grandma knew about this for a long time and she refused to say anything.

Christen ➡ Why didn’t you tell me about the prophecy?

Wuroala ➡ Why should I? But it doesn’t matter now.. Now you’ve seen everything.. Your romance with Riley was foretold long before you both were both.. Back then after the witch left, i couldn’t accept the fact that a human blood find it’s way into our bloodline, so I made a pact with one eternal demon known as Reaper!

The pact was anyone of my descendants that socializes with humans, should die by the hands of the humans they socialize with… To even avoid that from happening I decided that I would not get married.. But Fate had plans for me.. A few centuries later, I met with your grandfather and became lovers, even before we were married, I was pregnant with your mother and after she was born into this world, everything about me changed.. Your mother was my everything and I adored her because she was different from the other witches like her, even when she started to hang out with humans at an early age, I allowed her to because of how much I loved her… During that time I completely forgot about the pact I made, it was after your mother’s death I remember the foolish and cruelest thing I did…(sobs)

I was speechless when she revealed everything to me.. Though she never meant it, she was responsible for my mother’s death, her own daughter.. I felt disheartened when I heard grandma shedding tears, this was the first time I’ve ever seen her emotional, I bet she must be hating herself for whatever she’s done.. I wanted to hate her for what she did but I couldn’t.. She was really sorry for what she had done and was regretting her actions.

Wuroala ➡ (crying) sniff! Thanks to my stupid actions.. Your sister Rose is now a murdering psychopath, the trauma of losing her mother made her what she is now and I’m responsible for it.. Seeing the damage I had done.. I couldn’t allow you to die as well, You remind me so much of your mother and she made me promise to look after you and your siblings.. I tried to undo the curse I placed on you but it had a catch, if I was to break the curse, it would cost me my life.. I had to sit down and think this through, At the beginning, I never supported your relationship with Riley, fearing that the same thing that happened to your mother will also happen to you, but then I realized your relationship with Riley was something out of the ordinary and the boy has proven himself to show that he really deserves you.. So I took the bull by the horn and broke the curse.

Christen ➡ Why did you do it?

Wuroala ➡ Because it was the right thing to do… Look Christen I know you’re angry but please I want you to find a place in your heart to forgive your grandma.. I can’t undo the things I’ve done in the past but I can make things right now in the present. I’m sorry for everything.

After she said that, I hugged her crying silently as well.. She hugged me as well breathing slowly, I could her life force fading away slowly..

Christen ➡ I’m angry at you Grandma, but I forgive you and I’m sure mom too has.. Its sad that you’ll no longer be with us.. I’d like you to be there, when I finally get married to Riley.

Wuroala ➡ Me too Christen.. But what’s done is done.. I don’t have anything to give your except my knowledge about magic spells and curses.. They’ll be useful to you in near future but don’t tamper with them.

Christen ➡ I won’t..

.

Wuroala ➡ Good, everything you need is in my book shelf… Here take this key.. Don’t lost it.. It’s the only one that can open the shelf.. Seeing that I won’t be around anymore… You and Riley can hide there in case the council ever came after you both and one last thing.. Be yourself and have a good life with Riley.. Your mother would be so proud to see the progress you’ve made with your life.

Christen ➡ Thank you grandma..

.

After that Grandma groaned in pain and laid down on the couch, I sat next to her touching her head, her eyes were weary and distant but she had a smile on her face, she held my hands holding it tightly, and then gently she began to close her eyes.. I quickly shook her so she would stay awake.

Christen ➡ Grandma!

.

Wuroala ➡ Hmm..

.

Christen ➡ are you alright?

.

Wuroala ➡ Yes.. Can you get me a cup of water?

.

Christen ➡ Sure.

.

I quickly left her and ran to the kitchen to get the water, I filled one of my cups with a cool refreshing water and went back but by the time I returned, Grandma was gone, she wasn’t on the couch, the only thing I saw was a key where she laid and a writing made of magic that said.

*Goodbye Christen*.

I let the glass cup go, it fell and smashed to the ground, I laid on the couch and began to cry…

Here in the dark silent night, A car thunders down the empty lonely road breaking the silence barrier of the night…the person behind the wheel of the car is the angry Amelia, she tightens her grip on the wheel and presses the pedal accelerating the car’s speed driving as fast as she can..

Within minutes, she arrives at her destination which is Mr. Obaro’s house, after parking the car, She walks in hastily into the house…

Here inside the house, Mr. Obaro is startled by the sudden entry of Amelia, he stares at her wondering what her problem is.

Obaro ➡ What’s the meaning of this nonsense?… Are you insane?

.

Amelia ➡ I’m sorry… It’s just that I’m in a foul mood…

.

Obaro ➡ So how did the engagement go? Did you poison them?

.

Amelia ➡ No…. I failed.. I was caught.

Obaro ➡ What? How?

Before Amelia could realize what was going on… Obaro pulls out a revolver ? and points it at Amelia…. Seeing the barrel of the gun towards her direct, Amelia tries her best to appeal to Obaro’s better nature.

Amelia ➡ Baby.. Calm down.. There’s no need for hostility..

Obaro ➡ Shut up you b-tch…. You failed in doing a simple job and now you come back to my place… You should have gone somewhere else.. I can’t allow you to leave this house alive.

Amelia ➡ But for God’s sake, I told you there’s nothing to worry about.

Obaro ➡ I’ll be the judge of that.. You women are hard to trust.. When the going gets tough you won’t hesitate to expose me… But don’t worry.. Your death will be quick and merciful.. I’m sure going to miss your body..

Before she could finish her statement, Obaro pulls the trigger, pulling a bullet in the middle of her forehead, Amelia stands still for a while before falling to the ground dead… Obaro walks over her and looks down on her body, He kicks her lifeless body to see if she would stir but she doesn’t,.. After that obaro smiles and puts the gun away, then Suddenly he hears a rumbling noise outside his house, Obaro quickly picks up his gun and goes outside his house, as he comes out, he sees Amelia’s car wrecked to pieces, He moves further away from his house to see who it is.. Suddenly, his own car jumps in mid air heading his way, Obaro quickly moves out of harms way, as soon as the car hits the ground, he shoots the car non-stop, not realizing his mistake, he shoots the gas tank and the car explodes making a very loud boom ?! The impact sends him flying across his gate, He crashes on the steel gate breaking one of his legs, As he groans in pain, Obaro sees the shadows around him heading towards his direction… Bewildered by what he saw, he opens his mouth in shock, unfortunately for him, not realizing his doom was near, Obaro approaches the shadows, as soon as he gets close, one of his arms is being amputated…. He shouts in pain clutching on to his arm, as he keeps groaning in pain, One of his legs is also severed from his joints.. Obaro shouts out louder into the night, but before he could make a move, The shadows dismantle his body into several pieces… As soon as Obaro was dead, The shadows consume every bit of his body without leaving a single trace.. After that, the shadows disintegrate into the air.

Shortly after that, Monife pops out of nowhere and smiles to herself after witnessing the demise of Obaro, She then chants some spell and transforms herself into Obaro himself.
