    Today is Saturday, why don’t you follow me to the mall, I have got something to show you, more like a surprise.

    I shuffled myself in the front seat of the Cadillac Sedan, and we zoomed off to the mall, I was anxious to see daddy’s surprise.

    We got to the mall, the place was quite busy, as many teenager moved about the mall, it was the end of the week, most of the boys present did have female partners they gist and laugh, I took a glance at one corner to see a boy pushing pop corn on a girls mouth, and they erupted in loud laughter, So cute my heart read loud to me.
    I hurried up to catch up with dad who was ascending the Staircase.

    This way he said and I followed, soon we got to a basement, there was a slightly visible touchpad on the wall, dad imputed some figures on it, and and the wall cracked.

    Whoa I was amazed as the wall gave way, dad walked in and ushered me in the place was cozy and filled with bright blue lights, I went in to see arrays of computers, with different people on corporate dresses working on them.

    We kept on walking and I kept on looking at the different sophisticated computers at the place.

    This is Hive Dad said.

    What do they do?

    Oh hive is an operation, that is attached to the new world I told you about, they own this building and the mall, this is where I work…

    What??? You work here? I asked, things were getting somehow, I am confused, dad always said he works at the mall as a sales rep, and now here we are and he is telling me about working in hive.

    Yes I know it’s not gonna go down well with you, because this is so much to hide away from one’s daughter, but I think it’s for the best or don’t you trust me?? He asked.

    I didn’t spill a word.

    See Lisa come off it, you were bound to know about this anyways, sooner or later? But here we are, so embrace it, you know daddy knows best he said while I nodded, just then we passed a section where heavily armed men were training, and their grunting and panting filled the air.

    They came to a halt when dad and I passed.

    They are the Hive agents.

    Whoa!! I said but something looked fishy about them, their attire was exactly the one that the serial killer in town put on, if the media was exactly correct, then from this attire, I can tell that hive must have something to do with the killer.

    I kept calm and watched I didn’t say a word about my observations to dad.

    We kept on walking till we got to his office.

    He treated me to a special breakfast.

    But I wasn’t comfortable here, everything looked suspicious, including dad, but I didn’t say a word about it. I tried my best to hide my feelings.

    Till we were set to go late in the evening.

    We have been keeping an eye on Humphrey and his daughter, ever since they stepped out of their house.

    I was yet to figure what my family got to do with Lisa’s mom, we over heard their discussion through the chip that was planted on Humphrey body, the chip was not just a tracker a transmitter was also connected to it and it was also undetectable, the security at hive was not able to detect it even when Humphrey entered his office that morning, so we were able to get most of Humphrey’s conversations and through his day at the office.

    Snovas and Smart, please keep an eye on Humphrey and His daughter with the system, I and Cal will go out and nab them Grayson said.

    Why don’t you just get rid of the stimulant under your skin, and let’s forget about this whole mission thing Smart asked.

    No no, Smart, The stimulant under my skin is not just any stimulant, it is the source of power to the City, once I destroy it, the city will be left in total darkness, plus it’s a special one, it was created by one of the world best scientists, a 10 times upgrade of any stimulant you can find in the word, I lectured, while Smart sighed.

    Yea i said and we entered his car and zoomed off.

    Some axis away from Hive’s Mall, we parked our car, we initiated the Tracker on the iPad, and soon it came live, Humphrey was Just leaving the office we saw him walk to the park according to the layout of the building on the map, that was all we got before we were knocked out.

    Shit I cursed.

    He detected the Chip.

    Holyshit!!! Gray cursed.

    Guys guys calm down Snow said through the bud, I think we ain’t knocked out entirely, what if we are able to hack into the surveillance camera in the building, we might me able to see get a clue of which route he will take.

    Godddamn you are right, Gray said.

    Ok let’s set to work, gray tried to hack the front view CCTV, but it wasn’t showing forth, all access were denied, I took the iPad from him and tried my tricks, it wasn’t working, so I initiated Uncle Neil’s hack Software, the program ran through, and we gained access.

    I got it I said. The radius of the Camera lens was of a wide range, we were able to see the Cadillac moving fast on the road. I caught a glimpse of Lisa, my heart beat fast and dropped, it’s been long I set my eyes on her.

    I soon noticed another car tagging Humphrey’s Cadillac, I zoomed the clip, and got to see the car all filled with Hive men, they were Six.

    They were actually coming towards our route.

    You saw that? I asked Gray.
    Yea are you nervous?

    No let’s take down these sons of a bitch.

    Good he the rifle, and I turned to the back seat, I made do with the Submachine Guns, while Gray armed himself with the Kalashnikov.

    Our car was placed on a reversed gear.

    This will make shooting easier.
    25mins later, the SUV containing the Hive Ghosts, surfaced and the Cadillac was at the back.

    They opened fire on us, But Gray’s Car was bullet proof, he puncture a hole through the front windscreen, and put out the nozzle of his gun and started shooting, he aimed at the front tyre of the SUV, and ran bullets on the bonnets, soon it was smoky and I could tell the vehicle was about to explode, the men ran out of the car, and this was our chance, we shot at them while they tried to take cover, few moments later the six men were down, we came down form our car to see Humphrey trying to reverse his car back to where he was coming from, Gray launched a shot on the two back tyres, the car somersaulted and came to a stop, we waited a minute before we rushed to the car, we opened it and found the car empty.

    Shit they got away, I said.

    After Sheriff told me they’ve got eyes on the boy,I had told him it was fine and asked him to bring me the stimulant.

    After a while I had resolve to going to China myself to observe things.

    And just in time I had saw them exiting the tunnel Sheriff has directed me I took a clean shot at the boy through the windscreen, even though it did not meet him, I was happy at the result, Neil was out of the picture, I kept on shooting till the dude on the wheel finally maneuver his way.

    Now I am back to Vernica, Lisa had shown tremendous improvement on her training, I watched her grow and she grew stronger by the day.

    The final phase of the destructive nuclear weapon has been concluded by the 7, they will soon come down to Vernica to join in retrieving the stimulant.

    I picked up the phone to receive the caller, it was an hidden ID.
    This is Agent Grayson on the line, I am very sure I am speaking with Cal Henry!

    Yes Sir, how can I help you sir I said as I recognized who he was, he was a Senior Agent in the China Intelligence Bureau (CIB) Where Uncle Neil worked under the IMF (Impossible Mission Force) department, he was the best man they had.

    You Should know me, I am sorry for the death of Agent Neil, I will be coming down to Vernica at once, this mission has become the CIB’s business, Following the loss of Agent Neil, the general has assigned me to come complete the mission and help you out, even when the mission started with Just the both of you.

    When I dropped the call, the guys had both stare at me with a quizzical look on their face.

    Oh it is the CIB, you know uncle neil was a CIB, so following his death the CIB has become interested in saving the world.
    Whoa that’s a good sign Smart said.

    I really don’t know Snow but we have to place our hope high.

    Yea so where are we starting from?

    I think I will search for a few leads and hack into Hive’s Databases I said as I log on the Laptop I secured from Uncle Neil’s

     Smart asked, they might know someone is hacking their system and try to trace it.

    Yea you are right, but I learnt a few things from uncle Neil, I can always redirect our GPS.

    Hmm be safe do not blow our cover, though this place look stuffy and old, I still appreciate it to running up and down for safety snow purred with her tiny voice, and I smiled.

    Working under daddy’s tutorage was fascinating, I was getting strong and swift, I felt blood running through my veins, and my muscles contracting under my skin.

    One hot afternoon, I was back from school, I have since stopped hanging out with Paul, because he was a friend to Cal, I always see him and Rita, but never say a word to them.

    I have grown to be so mean and quiet, I barely talk to anyone, everyone at school thought it was because of the death of Cal, but hell I hate it that they think like that, only if they knew the hate and grudges I nursed for the dead soul.

    My frown at the boys and girls at school, was really because they were all rich, and because my mum died in the hands of the rich that caused my father to serve a term at gaol, I developed hatred for them.

    I sat totally bored of the things that displayed on the HD TV, I stood up to go to my room, I logged on my laptop, and did search the web, I did come across something that made me too look in the Henry’s Family Company, I didn’t know why, but I kept on digging, until I hit a shocking revelation.

    Mr Henry did not kill my Mom, he was deceived by someone.

    Dad must see this, we have all been blinded for so long, I regretted my actions, and I asked the dead soul of Cal my beloved to Forgive me.

    I will surely deal with that son of a bitch I cursed.

    After about an hour, I heard a Car pulled up in front of my grand pa’s house, I had stopped what I was doing on the Laptop to check, and through the blinds, I saw the Chinese Man, exiting the car and coming towards the main house.

    By now Smart and Snow have made themselves comfortable, they were both watching a show on TV, I was able to gather a few leads from hive.

    The expected knock came through the door, and I stepped forward to open it.

    I kept weeping without saying a word.
    “Why are you crying? Is it that bad?” he asked looking at me. I cried more looking at him. I tried to speak but can’t say anything but cry. He drew me closer to his body hugging me. He patted my back lightly to comfort me.
    “It’s OK. Everything is OK. If it’s that hard to say now, I’ll listen to it later. Sorry for everything that happened to you.” he said patting my back.
    Few minutes later, my body became calm and I was able to talk. I narrated everything to him.

    That night, I got a call from Stephen saying we should hook up at our usual place. When I got to the restaurant he mentioned, I didn’t see him there. I called his line, it was switched off. So, I left the restaurant and was heading to his house to check on him because he told me he’s just leaving home when we last spoke on phone. I was in my car driving and kept dialing his number maybe he would pick up but he wasn’t. I dropped my phone and concentrated on the road. When I almost got to his house like 5minutes drive to go. I got to a bridge and saw his car packed at one side of side of the road. Cars are not really moving on the road because it’s late. so it was silent and that area was dark. Immediately I saw his car, I pulled over to one side and got down from my car. Because of the cold outside, I took my jacket from the second seat and put it on. I walked slowly towards his car wondering what he’s doing by the road. I even thought he had an accident because accidents do happen on that bridge frequently. I walked towards the car peeping through the wind screen. When I got to the car, I saw another car before his car.
    A blue Toyota Camry.
    I peeped through his car and saw him carrying a lady out from there. The lady i never saw before. The lady was unconscious. He took her into the second car.
     “Is she dead?” I asked myself covering my mouth in shock. When he took her to the driver’s seat, he shut the door and looked around the area. I quickly dodged my head behind the car to avoid him seeing me.
    “What is he trying to do?
    Who’s the lady?
     Is she dead?” I asked myself looking scared. I heard the sound of the car and suddenly, I heard some glass scratch. I quickly looked at the direction of the car and saw as the car fell from the bridge down into the river. I tried to scream but covered my mouth in shock. He just committed murder and framed the accident.
    What should I do?. I started trembling in fear. I wanted to sneak back to where I left my car before he would see me. My phone started ringing. I quickly removed it from my pocket trying to silent it but my hand was trembling seriously. I heard some foot steps coming towards where I was hiding. At last I was able to silent it. I stood up and tried to leave but Stephen popped out to my front. When I saw him,my phone dropped from me in shock. My body started trembling in fear. He moved closer to me while I also moved backward.
     “What the fuck are you doing here?
     Why are you here?” he asked looking at me. His eyeball changed immediately. His body started diffusing black flames.
    “Please spare me. I promise I won’t tell anyone about it” I pleaded crying seriously. He moved closer looking at me while I also moved backward.
    “It’s too late dear. You’re not suppose to see this. Am sorry it’s too late” he said looking at me. I started running just to get away from him. When I got to the end of the bridge, I looked back and couldn’t see him again. I stopped to catch my breath. I looked up and saw his figure before me. I was so shocked to see that.
    “Dear. You can’t run away from me.” he said smiling. I blocked my two ears with both hands and started screaming for help.
    “Stop that you’re too loud. if you do that till tomorrow morning, no one will be able to hear you” he said. I started crying and pleading him to spare me.
    “Please I promise no one will know about it. Spear me please” I said begging him. He moved closer to me I was not able to move any further because I have reached the end of the bridge. I looked behind me and saw water. I held the iron tightly looking at Stephen who has turned to a complete monster. I never knew this is the kind of person he is. I now know people shouldn’t be judge by their looks.
    “Am sorry dear. It’s too late. I have to do this. Goodbye my love” he said and I felt a sharp object pierced into my tummy.
    “Ahhhh!” I screamed holding his hand. I looked down at my tummy and saw blood dripping down from there. He withdrew the dagger from my tummy. I fell from the bridge and down into the water. As I sank down in the river, my eyes were still opened but I can’t breath. The water found it’s way into my nostril, mouth, ears. I tried to swim to the surface but my body was too weak to do that.
    What I remembered next was that I opened my eyes and saw a girl pressing down my chest. Her body was wet and the water in her hair was dripping down on my face as she continue shouting my name and shaking my body. She took off my bloody jacket and threw it down beside her.
    “Please save me!” I said in a low tone as my eyes were shutting back slowly.
    “Are you OK? Hang on. I’ll save you. Just some minutes” she said reaching for her phone. My eyes shut and that’s all I could remember.

    Adrian sat up and adjusted himself the moment he saw Rheo entered the office, he had been summoned.
    I want every details on your patrol yesterday! Rheo stated even without having a seat, he went straight to the point.
    Adrian opened his mouth to explain everything in detail, excluding the strange boy’s part, he felt it was not necessary to tell him, as whatever Rheo would want to know was concerning the patrol and not some boy who had walked up to him to prove his intelligence.
    Is that all?
    Yes my lord!!
    So do you mean that nothing else happened?
    Erm….. Not exactly my lord only that a little boy of not more than 18yrs had walked up to me I was surprise he was able to see me in my ghost for…….
    Yea!!! That’s it!!!, that’s what I am talking about.
    Huh?? What are you talking about my lord??
    Never mind Coward!! Can you get me to the boy??
    Erm…. My… lord, I am not sure… but why is he seeming so important to you? Adrian stuttered.
    This is not the time for question, all I want you to do no matter the cost, is to get the boy and bring him to the institute.

    Adrian knew better than to defile Rheo’s order, he kept on racking his head on how to get the boy before noon, just as he thought hard, a brilliant idea crossed his mind.
    I can remember I gave the boy a Steele I think I should go met Nathan to help me track the Steele, that will get me to the boy, he said to himself and hurried his way to where Nathan was at another part of the institute.
    Nathan was the ghost tech guy, he was able to track the Steele within minutes and in the next moment, Adrian was on his way to the old rusty house where Cyrus spent the night.
    Cyrus was just taking a through study of the house and racking his brain on what line of action to take next, when he felt Adrian smell from a very far distance, he knew he had perceived that smell before, and he raced his mind in thought on who it would be, Adrian was almost at the house before Cyrus remembered it was the ghost guy.
    What does he want?? He must have trailed, using the Steele, I think they must have discovered me and he has Come to kill me, but like I told him yesterday, I have not even enjoyed this life, now let’s see how that’s ever gonna be possible.
    Cyrus quickly threw his two hands into the air, and brought it down with such great force that the house cracked and disappeared from Adrian’s sight.
    He was almost close only a few step to the door when his eyes lost sight of the house.
    What??? What just happened? Adrian asked in a loud alarming tone, he raced to the place where the house once stood and walked on the plane ground.
    No no no… This can’t be happening, Every signal I have got about this house is gone, there is no more house here, it all disappeared from my own very eyes.
    Hahaha You fool, you think you are smart!! Cyrus laughed as he watched Adrian battling with himself.
    What do I do now?? I can’t go back and tell Rheo that I almost got the boy, but all of a sudden the house which the boy was staying disappeared from my sight, That is an incompetence on my part. He kept kicking the dust.
    Cyrus listened close, and he heard all what Adrian said, and he thought to himself.
    This might Just be another chance of getting close to the Icarius, since they are looking for me, why don’t I go to them? I will be able to protect myself, hiding from a battle will not solve any problem, all I have to do is man up and face it, This might just be a way out.
    Adrian spent close to 3hrs standing on the spot, thinking of how best to convey the news that a house disappeared from his sight to Rheo with him getting a beat up, He knew Rheo was a no nonsense man.
    He walked a few step of the ground and looked back at it, before continuing his Journey back to the institute.
    Hey wait up, Cyrus called and at once Adrian turned back to see him running towards him like nothing happened and the level ground he once stood was now occupied by the same house he saw disappeared.
    What the Hell!!!! You did that? Adrian said out loud.
    Did what Adrian right??
    Yes I am Adrian what happened to that house?
    What house? The brown coloured old house.
    I don’t know what you are talking about, I only saw you from a few miles away and I decided to come meet you up, Thanks for the Steele you gave me yesterday, I will come visit you in the institute one day, Cyrus said and pretended to be walking away.
    No no… why don’t you come along with me today, I might Just show you around the institute, and probably introduce you to our Icarius and his son, you may get the chance of seeing the Icarius daughter too, she likes intelligent young boys.
    Whoa that will be cool, Thank you, you are so considerate Adrian, you are a good ghost.
    The pleasure is mine little boy, the truth is that Adrian was still confused about the whole house appearing and disappearing stuff, but Cyrus actions had made him believed Cyrus knew nothing about the house, so he had let it played, at least he was thankful he now had the boy, Rheo would be pleased with him.
    You were saying something about the brown house down there, what happened to it? Cyrus had brought up a conversation, the truth was that he was getting bored of trekking with the old ghost, if he was walking alone he would have portal himself to the place already.
    Uhmm I thought I saw the house Disappeared and later appeared.
    What??? that is not possible, Cyrus said.
    Yes I think my mind is playing tricks on me, Adrian replied.
    (Of course!! you idiot, he said inwardly) Hmm you have to be sure of things Adrian.
    Thank you Cyrus let’s walk fast he said and they continues their Journey till they got to the institute magnificent gates.
    Guys there is something I need to say I know most of you don’t like the story, and if you don’t, keep that to yourself, don’t come to the comment box and be telling me how to write my story, being too religious, shouldn’t affect your mentality.

    Mum; am driving, on my way to see a friend
    Me; mum please turn back right now and go lodge in a secure hotel, i will take the first flight to Lagos tomorrow morning and explain things to you
    Mum; what do you mean dear?

    As Rheo was set about carrying out his interrogation on the captured angel, he sealed up the whole institute with his power so that there will be no movement or disturbances, or anybody badging into the interrogation room knew how grievous what he was about to do was, so he had sealed the walls of the institute and Time froze, only him and the angel were moving.

    Ithuriel knows what is felt like to use the mortal sword to get the truth out of someone, The sword could destabilize your whole body and make you say the truth, Ithuriel wasn’t ready to go through the pain of getting tortured by the sword, so he said everything that Rheo needed to hear, and Rheo was vexed he flared up in anger.

    So Zareh knew all along, and the water world has my son??

    I know of that already, but I want to see my son, he will rule side by side with me, he is my greatest investment, because he is going to be stronger than any Ghost or demon that ever lived, Rheo kept talking as he approached him.
    Now Enough of the Talk Ithuriel it’s about time you drank from the Dark Cup, You too shall become evil, and you shall fight in my army.

    Noooo Nooo!!! Please don’t do this Rheo Please don’t, he kept on pleading as he wiggled from the chains Rheo has used in chaining him.

    Hahaha!!! Rheo laughed wickedly. I will be needing some Angel blood for my son Jordan, so before you drink from the Dark Cup, let’s do this, He said and brought out a Syringe, he pricked it on ithuriel’s skin, and extracted his blood, when he was done, he kept the syringe meticulously on a tray, and he fetched the Dark Cup from the table he kept it before, and forced it down Ithuriel’s mouth, Ithuriel tried to stop the contents of the cup from going down his throat, but the intensity at which Rheo pressed the cup, didn’t leave him a chance.

    The Moment the content of the dark cup touched his mouth, the ground shook, as all the Angel clan, felt what has been done. Ithuriel’s angelic wings disappeared, his eyes became dark and as cold as death, he roared like a beast and shook the chains which Rheo has used in bonding him.

    Hahahahahaha!!!! Rheo laughed continually, Till he was bored of laugh. He looked at what was left of the angel, he was now naked, his wings and angelic garments were gone, he now looked like a mortal.

    Ithuriel you look like a mundane,
    Rrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhgggggggg!!!! Ithuriel Roared.

    Good Boy, but I feel the name ithuriel is too angelic for you, why don’t we call you CANIS, you know the humans, Scientifically refer to dogs as Canis Domestica. So canis you are my dog, and you will fight my war, and bring my son back to me.

    If you so wish to speak again like you once did, why don’t you roar for me? Rheo asked, he some how was enjoying the fun and pleasure of what he was doing to the Canis.
    Canis roared and Rheo snapped his fingers, and he regained his tongue.

    Why have you done this Rheo? Canis asked in tears.

    Do not question the decision of a father who is looking for his lost son at all cost, now if you really don’t wanna use your tongue again, I can keep it for you, but if you want to, I suggest you keep queit and follow my orders.

    Rheo fixed a leash and a collar on Canis neck like a dog, and led him into a cage, the cage was in the institute, but it was invisible to the eyes of every ghost in the institute, because Rheo used some borrowed powers to make it so.

    The moment he shut the cage, he let the time roll, and broke the seal he used in sealing up the institute, and everyone returned to their duties, they all were cool, as if nothing happened.

    Father!! I was coming to your Chambers, Jordan called after Rheo as he saw him warning out of the Solitude chamber with a syringe in his hands.

    What is that? Jordan asked.

    It’s Erm….. Just a liquid from one of my many experiments, it will make Ghost members strong in battle, I will give you the honour of Trying it out first Rheo proposed to Jordan.

    No no Father! I don’t want to!
    You don’t have a choice Jordan, you are my first son, and a fine soldier of this institute, i want the best for you son, and he drew Jordan closer to himself and Injected the angel blood in him.
    How does it feel?

    Great father, I feel light, like I can fly in the air!!
    Yes that is it son, you are now invincible.

    Zareh and Cleo were still trying to figure out ways to Extract the demon blood from Cyrus and replaced it with the angel blood, when he felt a seizure, an image played on his head, he saw Zareh Forcing the Dark Cup on Ithuriel’s mouth.

    Oh Nooo!!!!! Zareh Cried, while Cleo stopped what she was doing at once!

    What is that my lord?

    Rheo is too smart, and deceptive, he is and evil born Ghost, he has succeeded in giving Ithuriel a drink from the dark cup.

    What??? that is not happening my lord, Cleo said.

    But he Just did, Zareh replied.
    What shall we do? She asked.
    Nothing! Nothing!! We will only watch because there is nothing we can do again, whatever Rheo has planned is not a good one, so we should focus on getting the boy out from the demonic circle and bring him to light. He will fight Rheo…..

    Just then a knock came in, The spell Cleo casted on Galicia has worn off, so she came back to know what was wrong with the queen.

    Cleo had wanted to cast another spell, but Zareh told her to answer her, and Cleo left the room to answer Galicia.

    What do you want, Cleo asked the moment she opened the door she once locked with her powers!

    Nothing my queen, it’s just that I fear you have been in here for too long, and your involvement with the Ghost league and the boy’s issue, is becoming unbearable, the kingdom and the waterworlders, needs your attention, but you are too busy getting involved with That demonic beast!

    I Rebuke you say that!! Cleo flared at Galicia outburst, and Galicia mellowed.

    I am sorry my queen!

    Better, now go over see the affairs till I am back, Cleo said and went back into the room to meet Zareh!
