Mina quickly emerged from the car and started running to only God knows where

I paused for some moment then I quickly came out of the car and ran after her

“Mina Mina… ” I called but she did not stop running

The breeze was blowing through her hair and she was really running fast but I finally caught up with her

I held her hand but she angrily jerk it away and looked at me.

I was startled to see her teary eyes

“Mina I.. I…

“Don’t say anything… Pls don’t say anything ” She whispered as she started looking around as if she lost something

“Mina I was also shocked when I found out, I really don’t know how to tell you, I was scared that I am going to lose you ” I said as I tried to fight back the tears that welled up my eyes

“You got marry to kayla because of that?? She asked then she shook her head and continued “Your mom killed her because of her greed and your dad also knew about this??

“Mina”

“People thought Chairman Wol bin wife died when giving birth not knowing she was killed and you also knew about it but you try to protect your family dirty reputation ” Mina yelled out

“And that is exactly what I am regretting right now, I chose my family dirty reputation over my heart and now I hate myself for it ” I manage to say

“You’re a monster and I will never ever forgive you and your family … Never ” She blurted and was about to leave when she suddenly stop and touch her forehead.

“Mina are you okay?? I asked but there was no response

I couldn’t finish my statement as Mina collapse and my eyes was wide open

I place my hand on her forehead

“Gosh… She’s burning up ” I said to myself as I quickly carry her and straightaway to the car

“Mom what do you mean?? Kayla asked looking surprised

“I was the one who recorded the video of how CJ’s mistakenly killed Mina’s real mother and I threatened their family with it but the video is over the internet now.. How come??

“Are you sure no one had an extra copy of it?? Kayla asked

“I don’t think so, I only send one to CJ mom and I know she won’t be that careless not to keep the clip safe”

“Then who could’ve uploaded the video?? Kayla said as she was looking at her phone

“Kayla let’s forget about that, Chairman Wol bin has limited life to live and…..

“Mom?? Kayla shouted looking shocked

“What is it?? What happened??

“Take a look at this” Kayla said as she showed her the video on her phone and she was also baffled

It was the video of when she was about to inject chairman wol bin and how innocent Mina entered

“Mom look at the headline ” Kayla said

The Owner of Shim Restaurant tried to kill Chairman Wol bin and blame CJ ex girlfriend who is the real chairman Wol bin daughter

“What??!! Who is doing this?? She said as she was now terrified.

Eve’s POV

“Don’t worry nothing is going to happen to you now ” My brother said

Who could’ve save me??

Was it the guy that Eric asked him to protect me??

My brother changed the channel and i looked at the TV

“Welcome back to the NS news, a video of how chairman wol bin wife died died has went viral and so many people wants justice, as we all know that chairman wol bin is the vegetative state, it’s hard to decide now and not too long the anonymous share a video of how the owner of Shim restaurant in gwanju was caught trying to kill Chairman Wol bin and try to blame it on CJ ex girlfriend which we all know as Mina, a shocking truth was revealed of Mina being Chairman Wol bin real daughter while the popular beauty model Kayla is fake”

“Who can the anonymous be and how does the person know everything?? I thought

“Mina is Chairman Wol bin daughter?? My brother asked looking surprised

The one that shock me the most is that CJ mom is actually the one that killed Mina’s mom

Gosh how is Mina going to feel??

“Chairman Ryung who is CJ father including his wife were responsible for the death of Chairman Ryung first wife and also their first daughter Chu Jung who everyone thought was dead turns out to be alive, she was spotted a month ago in the hospital by a small girl but everyone ignore it not until some hours ago she was spotted in Chairman Ryung house “

“Aish turn it off” I said as I stood up

It is really annoying

Suzy’s POV

I dialed mom’s number and she quickly pick it

“Mom where are you?? Do you know the police are looking for you and dad?? I said and I could tell she was now crying

“Why did you step mom?? Why?.

“I and your dad were scared, we thought she knew about my dirty secret of killing Wol bin wife so we planted a bomb in her car and….

“Mom?? I yelled “Don’t you know with what you’ve done, you’ve practically ruined your son’s carrer, do you know what people are saying all over the internet, they’re calling him all sort of names, I wish you and dad surrender yourself to the police and end all this ” I said then I hang up

I cover my mouth as I started crying

Author’s POV

(In the forest)

Everywhere was silent and wei was staring at Eric’s picture when Mimi came and sat beside her

Wei looked at her and then back at the picture

Mimi let out a sigh and brought out her personal book and pen and wrote something then she show it to her

“You miss him”

Wei smiled and nodded

Mimi wrote something again but this time it was long that it took some minutes then she show it to her

“It really hurt when I find out about my mom being the evil one, I miss Mina too even though she’s not my blood sister, my mom is the evil one and she caused everything, your brother did not die of leukemia but someone was poisoning him and the person was my mother “

Wei was shocked as her mouth was wide open

“Are you kidding?? This is not a joke so stop joking around “

Mimi wrote something again that she continue to write and write then show it to Wei to read

Flashback

Eric visited the restaurant and Mina’s fake mom hugged her

“How are you?? Hey I make your favourite cupcakes again ” She said and Eric smiled

“Let me get it for you ” She said and went to the kitchen, she looked around and brought out some powder and sprinkle it on top of the cupcakes

She smiled to herself and was about to go when one of the cupcakes fell, she groaned then she ignore it and went away

Mimi who was hiding behind the table saw everything and pick the cupcake that fell down

She planned on giving it to her neighbors dog because she knew how hungry the dog is

She went outside and call the dog

She gave the dog the cupcake and the dog ate it cheerfully

After an hour, Mimi was outside doing her homework when she saw their neighbor putting Ruff (the dog) inside the car.

The dog was spitting out blood and Mimi was nervous and worried

Why is the dog spitting out blood?? Was he sick?

After some days, Mimi found out that it was due to the powder her mom put on Eric’s cupcakes

Why is mom doing that??

Eric came oneday and her mother gave him another cupcakes, Mimi didn’t want anything to happen to Eric so she secretly pass the backdoor when Eric was leaving and told him everything.

When Eric finished reading what Mimi wrote about her mom poisoning him, he was shocked at first not knowing why she wanted to kill him

He shouldn’t have believe Mimi but he has also notice some changes in him when he was spitting out blood and how Eve had caught him

He was also suspicious of the doctor because the doctor make it known to him that he had leukemia and he has limited life to live

He went to another hospital and was told that he has no leukemia just food poisoning and they will give him antidote for it

Wei eyes was filled with tears, she angrily stood up

“Your mom is a murderer, she killed my brother.. She

Mimi wrote something and showed it to her

Wei eyes widened in shock as her lips was trembling

Mimi wrote something and showed it Eric

“I saw this in my mom’s room, I think it is a video clip of something “

She brought out the Clip and gave it to him

She wrote another thing and show it to Eric

“Mina is not my real sister, she is this man daughter ” She brought out a picture and showed it to Eric

“This is Chairman Wol bin, kayla’s dad ” Eric said but Mimi shook her head as she continue to write down something and then show it to him

A guy swiftly enter Chairman Wol bin VVIP ward and put a CCTV camera there and quietly went out

“My brother is alive??” Wei asked not believing what she read and Mimi nodded

“But we buried him so how come?? You’re lieing to me ” Wei yelled

“Wei you should learn how to control your temper ” Someone said and Wei stood there shock as she recalled who has told her that statement before

Wei you should learn how to control your temper “Eric said as he continue pressing his phone

Wei slowly spun around and was shocked to see who was standing not too far from her

(GANGNAM PRIVATE HOSPITAL)

“Mina is pregnant?? CJ asked as his eyes widened and the doctor slightly nodded as he make sure he listened to Mina’s breathing who was lying unconscious on the bed and checked her pulse

“Yeah but don’t worry, the baby is fine, she’s just dehydrated.

CJ step backward as he swallowed the lump in his throat, he looked down at Mina’s left hand and saw the iv in her hand.

“I’ll be right back ” The doctor said and walked away

CJ just stood there not knowing if he should believe it or not

“Mina is pregnant?? But for who?? He thought

He clenched his fist as different thought keep running through his mind

“There’s no way she’s pregnant for me cos we never had sex so how come?? CJ thought

He watched as Mina let out a whimper and slowly open het eyes

Mina lifted her head to find CJ staring down at her with a shocking face expression on his face

“You.. You… You’re the evil one ” CJ said and Mina was surprised to see tears in his eyes

“You’re the liar and the betrayal ” CJ said and Mina arched her brow

She was confused and did not know what has gotten over CJ

CJ shook his head and left the ward angrily, he bumped into the doctor but ignored him and walked away

The doctor entered and smiled at Mina when he see that she was awake

“What is wrong with him?? The doctor asked as he checked the fluid

“Some minutes ago, he was scared that you’re unconscious but when I told him you’re pregnant, he suddenly change… Isn’t he happy that his girlfriend is pregnant? ” The doctor said and Mina eyes widened

“Wh… What!!! CJ has find out that I am pregnant?? Mina sort of whispered

“Yea because you’re really pregnant or don’t you know??

Eve looked at the flower on the gravestone and let out a sigh

“I miss you Eric “She said

Her voice was low. The air was nippy, a small breeze ruffling her dress. He paid no mind to it though, allowing her gown to dance about as it wished. The graveyard was silent. A faint roar in the foreground told her of oncoming storms.

The sky above him had already turned a sour shade of grey;

the clouds hanging above a thick and dark mass.

“I should have visited sooner.” Eve spoke in a whisper, breaking her gaze from the foreboding sky.

She didn’t know why she was being so quiet, there was no one around to hear her word. The graveyard was deserted; the only soul present being a broken one was she

Once more Eve paused in her words. Her mind raced with

all the things she wished to say. There was so much she needed to speak.

“Eric I am scared and I really miss you, why did you have to leave??

It began to rain, the cold droplets hitting her face and sliding

down her cheeks like tears. It’s the rain but she did not care.

She drop to a squat and burst out crying then suddenly she yelped when she felt someone touch her on her shoulder.

“You should take care of yourself and forget about the dead ” The person said but Eve refuse to answer or even look at the person

“You’re really hurting yourself yourself?! Is the person so close to you to the extend that you’re crying under the rain “

“It’s none of your business, he is someone special to me and I have the right to do whatever I want ” Eve said

“Do you think the person will be happy to see you in this state??

Eve paused for some seconds

The vouch sounds familiar

She shut his eyes to try to try to recall where she heard the voice then she thought about the guy who saved her from Manager Don’s claw

Eve slowly stood up and was about to turn but the person held her preventing her to look at him

“Were you the guy that saved me some hours ago?? She asked but there was no response

Eve knew exactly what to do

She quickly jerk his hand off and quickly spun around, she sadly looked away

It was the guy which Eric asked him to protect her

“You’re the one?? Eve said looking disappointed

“Were you expecting it to be someone else?? The guy said as he looked at Eve

Her lips was now trembling, she’s feeling cold due to the rain

He removed his coat and was about to put it around her but Eve was shocked as she look at the black coat

“Eric?? She whispered

“Ha.. Ohhh… Yea you’re right… It is Eric’s coat.. ” The guy said and Eve notice something strange

The guy’s face look rough and she looked at his neck.

She stretch forth her hand and was about to touch it but the guy held her hand and looked at her

“What do you think you are doing?? The guy asked

“Who are you?? She asked

“Haa… Was that suppose to be a question??

“It is not advice able to use human face mask when it is raining ” Eve said and the guy manage to fake a smile

“So who are you?? She asked again

CJ’s POV

“What!!! Min ho exclaimed “You mean Mina cheated on you??

“Yeah, she cheated on me and got pregnant and I am hundred percent positive that it is for her dead best friend Eric”

“Miles??

“Yea, now can you see who is the evil one?? She’s a lier, she lied to me, she never love me, she played with my feelings and now she’s acting innocent ” I said angrily

“No you’re wrong CJ, you were the one that fooled her, you abandoned her and you chose your parent dirty secret over her “

“But she’s already flirting with her best friend before I knew about my parent past and…. Wait.. Are you taking her side?? I asked as I shot him a glance

“Not really but CJ are you sure she’s pregnant for Eric or for you??

“Am I nut ?? Am I dumb?? I never had sex with Mina, I have never see her nakedness and she had never seen mine so who else is she close to that is a guy… Of course it is Eric ” I said

“So what are you going to do??

“I don’t know “

“Do you listen to the news today??

“Of course I do, and I know the anonymous doing that shit is Kayla’s mother and i’ll make sure she pay for it “

“Pay for what exactly?? Pay for revealing your parent dirty secret.. Huh?? CJ what the fuck is wrong with you?? You’ve really changed, I don’t even know who you’re anymore ” Min ho said and I felt something sting my heart

His words really hurt me but I already have another negative thought

Mina is mine and I love her and if she end up giving birth to her best friend child then everything is over

I quickly excused myself and brought out my phone

I dialed the doctor’s number and he picked it

“Hello”

“Hello Doc. It is I CJ”

“Ohh CJ, why did you leave your girlfriend like that?? She is awake and she has been crying since you left “

“Doc can you do me a favour?? I said

“Sure anything “..

I looked around and shut my eyes then let out a sigh and open it back

“Actually my girlfriend isn’t happy about the pregnancy and I want you to…….

I paused as my heart keep beating fast

What is wrong with me??

Why am I thinking that way??

“To what??

“Terminate her pregnancy without her consent… Don’t let her know about it “

“What!!! The doctor exclaimed

“Just do it doc and i’ll do whatever it takes to repay you just do it ” I said and he was silent for some seconds

“Uhm.. Ohh… Okay”

“Yea” I said and hang up as I clenched my fist tightly

Mina’s POV

(One Month Later)

(At The Graveyard )

I squeezed my eyes shut then open it as I lay down on the grass and gazed up to the sky

“Eric, I think there’s a lot for me to figure out myself and I don’t think I can do this alone ” I muttered to myself

“You’re here?? A familiar voice said and I turned my head to see who it was

It is Eve

“Are you done with the dance practice?? I asked as I watched her put a bouquets on Eric’s grave, she muttered something then she turned to look at me

“Not really” She said and sat down on the grass next to me

Since the death of Eric, she has been my only best friend and I do live with her and her family, she helps me a lot and I do cherish her

“What happened?? I asked

“Let’s forget about that… Uhm Mina I heard that today is Kayla’s birthday ” She said making me scoffed

“Today is 5th of june, how come today is her birthday?? I asked and Eve gave me a confusing look

“What are you talking about??

I looked at Eve and quickly jolted up

“Remember the video I showed you last time??

“About Chairman Wol bin late wife saying she wants to name her daughter Mina??

“Yes and according to what I heard, she died after giving birth ” I said and Eve nodded

“And what about that??

“She died on 29th of may and that was the day she gave birth so how come Kayla is celebrating her birthday on 5th of june and why is her name kayla instead of Mina?? I asked and Eve let out a sigh

“Mina you’ve been asking me this question for some days now, how am I suppose to know?? You shouldn’t worry about that but you should worry about how to win back CJ instead ” She said and I look away

“Why should I worry about him??

“You’re carrying his baby for crying out loud” Eve said and I stood up..

“I have a lot to figure out rather than worrying about someone who use and dump me” I said and was about to go but Eve stopped me

“There must be a reason why he did that, I know that CJ loves you and….

“Enough Eve, you shouldn’t talk about me trying to win back a married man ” I said and with that I walked away trying to avoid any more of CJ talk

Kayla’s POV

“Happy birthday to you my daughter ” My dad said but he is not happy with it(not like I care)

“Thank you daddy” I said and gave him a tight hug

I quickly disengage the hug and smile brightly at him but his face look somehow

“Dad, I hope the flowers I gave you are still in your room” I asked and he nodded “So what did the doctor said about your condition??

“The doctor said I will be okay “

“What about your eyes?? Is it getting better?? I asked and he nodded

I continue to look at me and smile to myself

I can’t wait to be the heiress to the empire group

Father you just wait while you die slowly

The flowers in your room will affect you badly

“So what about CJ?? I hope he is fine too” My dad asked and I nodded

“Sure he is, we are happy with each other and we love ourselves very much ” I said knowing fully well that it was a lie

After I and CJ got married, he has always been sleeping in hotel and not in the house, he won’t even bother to wear the wedding ring, the day I asked him why he wasn’t wearing it, he told me he had lost it

He still act as if I am nobody and the reason is because he is still in love with Mina which I clearly know because I have caught him countless of time always staring at her pictures.

I can’t lose him to that bitch

Eve’s POV

It wasn’t too long that I left the Graveyard when I got a text message from Claire

Claire is one of the nurses working in Seoul National Hospital where Eric died, I met her at the park few weeks ago and I helped her with something that was bothering her and we became friends

My eyes widened

What did he want to tell me about Eric?? Eric is dead so what is it that she wanted to tell me??

The music was loud and everyone was dancing to the beat, Kayla tried hard as possible to get CJ to dance with her but he declined

“CJ, C’mon we’re married now and today is your wife’s birthday, don’t you think you sh….

“I’m just not in the mood” He said cutting her short

“But you should at least….. “She stopped when she realized everywhere was silent and the music had stopped

“What happened?? She asked and then spun around to see her worst nightmare

“Why did you stop the music?? Mina asked as she looked around “ohh you guys are surprised to me because I am not invited?? “

“Mina?? CJ whispered as he was shocked

“Hey Mina what’re you doing here?? See this” Kayla said as she flashed her left hand before Mina “I and CJ are married, he is mine and I am his, today is my birthday and I don’t think I invited you here ” Kayla said and Mina spun around as she took a glass cup and pour herself a drink

“Well…. Congratulation to you both ” Mina said “I hope you have a baby very soon or…. CJ hasn’t make a move yet?? Mina said and everyone looked at one another

Kayla clenched her fist and move closer to Mina

“Get out ” She said

“What if I don’t want to?? ” Mina asked

“Mina leave ” CJ said and Mina looked at him, Kayla smiled to herself

Mina glared at him and angrily pour her drink on CJ and everyone was shocked

“Don’t you dare alter my name from your mouth ” She said and then glared at Kayla

“I only came here to have a private talk with your wife and not with you “Mina said and CJ was quite embarrassed and sad as he swallowed his spit hard.

“There’s nothing left for me and you to talk in private, anything you want to say then feel free to say it here in public ” Kayla said and Mina smirked

“Are you sure??…. Well if that’s what you want then I will say it”

“I…… ” She was about to talk when she receive a text message

“The result is out? ” She read out aloud and Kayla arched her brow

“I am sorry but I guess we have to talk about it later ” She said then she looked at CJ before walking away

Kayla knew Mina is trying to find out something and the result of what she is looking for is out

What could it be??

CJ quietly left the party and ran after Mina

“Mina… ” he called and she stopped

“What do you want?? it is not adviceable for a married man to leave his wife alone on her birthday party ” Mina said and CJ looked at her hair not knowing what to say

“I don’t love Kayla and the marriage was a mistake.. I…

“You don’t need to explain anything, I am not in the mood to listen to your explanation ” She said and was about to walk away but CJ held her hand

She felt something and her heart began to beat fast, his touch was something else and she quickly jerk her hand off

“This should be the last time you will be touching me ” Mina warned..

“Mina even if I am married, don’t forget the fact that you’re still mine and I was the one that bought you… ” He said making Mina to scoffed

“Of course you bought me to use me and then dump me later.. Don’t worry I will pay you back your money and…

“Enough ” CJ yelled

“CJ you don’t have the fucking right to shut me up ” Mina yelled back

“Mina I love you very much and I want to be next to you everytime but I don’t know why.. I am beginning to regret why I chose my family reputation over my own heart, I wish you can wait for me until everything is settled, I don’t want to be with Kayla, I can’t wait to divorce her and end everything with her but how am I going to face you when you realize it was my mother that killed your blood mother ” CJ thought

Mina continue to look at him as everywhere was silent

“If you have nothing to say then I will take my leave now ” She said and walked away

Kayla was looking at them through the window, she knew mina was definetely up to something and she must get to know what she’s up to

“I’m sorry doctor but I am actually feeling guilty about this, I don’t know why you lied about that, I don’t know who you’re working for but I want you turn yourself in” Claire said and the doctor raised his eyebrow

“Meaning??

“You’re responsible for Eric’s death, I found out everything and I can’t keep this anymore… Eric never had leukemia, he had 86% of surviving but you lied to him that had leukemia, he was only suffering from lung problem due to the poison he has been taking or perhaps someone is giving him the poison but instead of you telling him the truth you lied to him and continue to give him fake drugs resulting to his death… You killed him” Claire said hurtfully

“Woah… That’s so great of you knowing it all… Is that why you come to my house?? The doctor asked

“Yes Doc because I can’t keep this anymore, I would like if you turn yourself in” She said and the doctor stood up

“You’re right… I am working for someone and the person has been the one secretly giving him poison damaging his lungs because the person want him dead, the person offer me a huge amount of money which I can’t resist so I have no other option than to do according to the person’s will, Yes Eric shouldn’t have die but he died anyway “

“That’s so cruel of you… You’re such a monster…. ” Claire said and was about to leave not until she screamed as she felt something hit her hard on the head

“I am sorry claire but I can’t let you ruin my life ” The doctor said as he watched Claire fall down on the floor as blood started gushing out of her head

I was patiently waiting for Claire and i don’t know what is taking her so long.

Why did she have to leave me in so much suspense??

I dialed her number but it was switched off

Gosh!!! That’s impossible but what exactly did she want to tell me??

“Where are you going?? Kayla asked as CJ was about to step out of the room

“You don’t need to know ” CJ answered and Kayla quickly obstruct him by standing in front of him

“CJ why are you like this?? Don’t you know you’re hurting me?? It’s been a month that we’re both married but you haven’t spend a single night with me?? Why??

“Kayla you of all people should know that the marriage was against my will and you should know the only girl i do love is…

“Mina?? Kayla said cutting him short and she sighed “CJ i am now your wife and also don’t you see how she disgraced you today??

“That’s because i deserve it “

“CJ you’re mine and nobody can take you away from me ” Kayla said

“We’ll see about that ” CJ said and with that he left

Kayla clenched her fist as she kept thinking about how to get rid of Mina

Mina’s POV

I shut my eyes and then let out a sigh as i opened it

The doctor gave me the envelope which i quickly open, i brought out the result and my eyes widened

“I am sorry to say but the hair you brought and yours did not match at all stating you are not related to her “

My jaw dropped and i was beyond shocked as tears manage to rolled down my cheeks

So she’s not my mother??

I squeezed the paper as i held my chest as i could feel it beating fast

Everything was a lie, all my entire life was a lie

If she’s not my biological mother then who could it be??

I quickly ran out of the hospital and went to the park as i look for a quiet place and started crying bitterly

Why did she have to pretend that she’s my real mother all this while??

I need to know how much she has been hiding from me

When CJ got out of the car, a little girl quickly ran to him, she was licking sweet and she stretched forth her hand as she gave CJ a letter

Immediately CJ collected it from her, the little girl ran away

“Wait… ” CJ yelled but the girl was out of sight

CJ opened the letter and was baffled

“Hello CJ

Not only will i reveal your parents secret but i will also let Mina know everything about who killed her biological mother, if you don’t want that then i want you to send a sex video of you and your wife to this Number… I only give you 7hrs or else……..

CJ looked if he can see the little girl whi gave him the letter but he can’t find her.

Why is the person requesting a sex Video?? CJ thought as he clenched his fist in anger

Mina’s POV

When i got to Chairman Wol bin house, i couldn’t go in because the guards wouldn’t let me

“I need to go inside, i need to discuss something with him” I half yelled but they didn’t care

“Let her in” Someone said and i turned to see an aged woman, she smiled at me and the guards nodded and allowed me to enter.

When i got inside the house, it was breathtaking and everywhere was quiet, i was expecting to see two or three maids but i didn’t see any of them

“Why can’t they attend to me?? I thought then my eyes caught something

It was a picture of Chairman Wol bin’s wife

I walked towards it and glanced at it then i recalled about the video saying her daughter name will be Mina

Different thought flashed through my mind and i quickly ignore the thought.

I was about to take a turn when i heard someone groaning in pain.. I paused for some seconds

The person was in pain… I think…

I wanted to call one of the guards but it might be too late so i quickly ran upstairs

The sound was coming from that room i guess…

I stood in front of the room and held the door knob, i dragged it down.. Thankfully it wasn’t locked

I quickly entered and my eyes was wide opened as i see Chairman Wol bin rubbing his eyes and groaning in pain, i quickly rushed to him and drop to a squat next to him

“Ar… Are.. yo.. you… Okay?? I asked

“Who are you?? He asked as he continue to rub his eyes

“What happened to you.. What is…. ” I paused as something caught my attention

I slowly stood up asi walked towards his cabinet, next to it was beautiful flowers.

I was startled as i recalled what the Flower is

“Don’t touch it” Eric yelled and Mina pouted

“Why?? She yelled back

“Aish…. You see why school is important.. Don’t you know that Flower is poisonous” Eric said and Mina scoffed

“How can this beautiful flower be poisonous. Huh??

Eric let out a sigh and knocked her on her forehead

“Ouch… What’s the meaning of that??

“Not everything you see that you touch, the flower is poisonous, they normally use it to kill the maidens in the palace, that is in the olden days “

“You said it yourself.. Olden days but wait how did they use it??

“Simple, they put the flowers in their room, the more they perceive it, the more it affect them, it affect the eyes first and if care Isn’t taking, it will affect the heart leading to their death and no one can find out how they died ” Eric said and Mina just continue to look at the Flower

‘That’s unfair ” She muttered

“Hey leave this room now… What have you done?? Someone yelled bringing me back to reality

I looked around to see so many guards and maids in the room

I quickly carried the vase which the flower was inside

“Who gave him this?? I asked but there was no response

“I said who gave him this??

“You should drop that, it was given to him by his daughter ” Someone replied and i was shocked

“Ka.. Kayla?? I whispered

I had such great pain in my eyes, I could feel it yet I forced a smile.

“CJ, look into my eyes and tell me you will marry Kayla ” I said and he looked at me but he couldn’t say a word making me know that he is being forced against his will

“CJ I won’t allow anyone to force you to do what you don’t wanna do, I know you love only me and I will make sure I fix this ” I said

“Fix what?? Someone said and we both turned to see Suzy at the entrance

She started laughing hysterically making me clench my fist in anger

“The only thing you’re allow to fix is the time of the wedding between my brother and Kayla ” Suzy said and I angrily walked up to her

“Mina can you come to Gwanju now, it is urgent pls ” She said and I was getting scared

I started panting hard and I quickly went to CJ.

“CJ, my mom just called, she asked me to come because it is urgent.. We need to go now plss” I said and he grabbed my hand

“CJ, where do you think you’re going?? Don’t you wanna find out who’s behind all the ruckus in our family and where I have been the whole time “? Suzy said and CJ stopped

“C’mon CJ, pls don’t do this.. You have to follow me ” I said but CJ didn’t move an inch

Why is he acting so dumb?? It is soo annoying

“You’re Unbelievable CJ ” I said as I released his hand and dashed away

Eric’s POV

Eve was sitting in front of me and everywhere was silent making me feel uncomfortable

“Evelyn, you.. Uhm… ” I tried to say something but I don’t know the exact words to say

“You don’t have to force a conversation with me, I think I need to take my leave.. Thank you ” She said as she stood up and was about to go then she looked at me

“You love Mina?? She asked and I was baffled by her question “it hurt when you love someone but the person did not love you back.. What an unrequited love ” She said and I arched my brow not understanding what she meant

“I hate you ” She said and with that she walked away

This girl is really weird

I sighed as I think about Mina, I shut my eyes and opened it, she’s right, it really do hurt.

CJ’s POV

When I got inside, I met Chu Jung sitting down on the couch talking about the weddings and everyone was paying attention.

What is wrong with them??

Chu Jung just appear from nowhere and they don’t even care to ask her what really happen, what she has been passing through, what she is up to??

I am definitely sure she’s up to something, this is not the chu Jung I know.

I recalled when she said she was responsible for Mina’s kidnap

Why did she want me to leave Mina and marry kayla?? I thought looking confused about the whole scenario in front of me but suddenly something strike my mind

“Oh damn..!” I cursed little louder that everyone looked at him

shocked that suddenly what happened to him.

“I can’t marry kayla” I said

I wasn’t in state to think about anything else than Mina,flashes of the moments i had spent with her along with ber face starts roaming in front of my eyes and I starts feeling suffocated.

Everything, what is happening is wrong.

I just can’t do this. I just can’t betray her… I just can’t betray my heart, which beats for her only… which belongs to her. I just can’t even think about any other girl than her.

Only the mere thought of betraying her was making my heartbeat sinking.

“NO… I can’t do this.” I shouted this time making everyone more shocked and i was panting heavily as if I had run marathon.

“Listen CJ, you will be getting married to Kayla and that’s final ” Chu Jung said as she held my hand to make me sit on couch

but this made me angry and I went out of control.

“Stop it.. , just stop it…” I shouted as I jerked away my hand from her grip, making everyone shocked with my sudden outburst

“I love only Mina, I love her so much. She is the

only girl I want in my life as my life partner and no one… and I mean it, no one can take her place neither in my heart

nor in my life… “I said whatever was in my heart. I just wanted to clear to everyone about my decision.I didn’t know what I had done is right or wrong but I knew one thing; if I didn’t do that then I won’t be able to breathe.

“Wow.. So you finally choose Mina over your own sister?? Chu Jung asked

“I am sorry but you’re not my sister because the sister I know will never do anything to hurt his brother and moreover you’re the one that chose whatever is bothering you over your brother… I am still finding it too hard to believe if you’re indeed my sister or not because you’ve changed a lot ” I said and I swallowed my spit hard while I turned to the direction where my mom, step mom and dad was standing

“It shows you didn’t care if chu Jung is alive or not because all you care is forcing me into a marriage even after seeing the greatest shock of your life that Chu jung which we thought was dead has been alive all this while?? How did she survive the fire outbreak?? If she wasn’t the person we buried then who do we buried?? Why did she came back into the house wearing mask and pretended to be a maid?? Huh?? Can’t you guys ask her that?? I am not your only child so focus on her too ” I said and turned to Kayla

‘You should give up because I will never marry you ” I said and with that I walked away feeling relaxed for pouring my feelings out.

I need to go to Gwanju now

When I got to Gwanju, I was beyond surprised to see my mom in a perfect and happy mood, she hugged me tightly and ask me to come inside the restaurant.

Everything seems okay so why did she call me urgently

There was no one in the restaurant except a guy who was playing game with Mimi, I didn’t see the guy face because he was backing me

Mimi looked up and when she saw me, she smiled and ran towards me and I gave her a hug.

She started pulling me towards the stranger and that is I got to see the stranger

He’s a handsome guy with a toned figure, messy dark drown hair and vivid blue eyes

“Mom, I m not going to do this…” Mina shouted in anger.

“You have to because you don’t have any other option and for your kind information, I’m not asking you… I’m telling you to do this.” Mina’s mom said in no-nonsense tone.

“I can’t believe you call me because of this and what makes you think I will be getting married to him? She asked annoyed.

“Because this is the right time and He is a right person for you.” Her Mom said while folding his arms across her chest.

“And how are you so sure, that HE IS A RIGHT PERSON FOR ME.” Mina asked sarcastically while folding her arms across her chest, just mimicking her dad.

They are forcing marriage with the person she is in love with and now her mom is trying to do the same

“Because I know him personally and more over, I am your mom .. And I very well know what is right for you.” Her mother retorted back in anger, ending their conversation…

“But mom…”

“No more arguments Mina.” She said in stern tone.

“Urghh…” she groaned in frustration and then took deep breath in to calm herself because she knows her mother is not going to back out if she decides something.

“Ok fine… I’m ready…” she said after thinking for some time making her mom little relieved, but before that she could become happy on her victory, she continued,

I was really getting bored with the unnecessarily talks, the guy who called himself Justin is just too annoying for my liking.

I don’t know what has gotten into my mom??

Why would she want me to get marry against my will??

“Well Justin, Mina is more than those words you said” My mother said and I shot her a glance

This is really getting out of hand

” Mina, you’re truly amazing and I love you ” Justin said as he smiled at me making me force a smile back at him

“How can you love someone you’re seeing for the first time?? I muttered to myself and my mom kicked me with her leg getting me annoyed

“Okay, here it is… I am not getting marry to this boring guy.. Okay?? I half yelled as i stood up and mom was surprised with the way I acted

“Mina, do you just yelled at me??

“Sorry…” I apologized to all for my outburst, as my mother’s words registered in my mind

“Whatever…” I said as i rolled my eyes on her.

“Listen, mom, it’s better if you ask this guy to leave because I won’t get marry to him… Final .” I said again impatiently, without caring why the guy was here in the first place

I stormed out from there but not before glaring at my mom in displeasure. Getting inside a room, I shut the door with loud thud.

Author’s POV

Mina was pacing in Mimi’s room from here to there all frustrated. She was so much annoyed with the fact that her mom wants her to meet a guy, whom she had chosen for her.

” Can you believe it?… Means we lived in 21st century, where parents has the right to choose the life partner of their children by themselves” Mina said

She is not saying that her mom had chosen a bad guy for her…but the fact is, she is not ready for the marriage… at least not for now because she’s in love with someone else now

And more over that she is not ready for arrange marriage. According to her this whole concept of ARRANGE MARRIAGE is bullshit. She always wonders that, how come two total stranger persons will live together for their whole life?

She always dreamt for a love marriage. She wanted to choose a perfect guy as her partner., and the perfect guy is CJ, the only guy that has won her heart.. But now her mom wanted her to meet a guy for a marriage, about whomshe didn’t know anything…but his name.

“Ummm…What was his name again ..?” she asked herself aloud in frustration

Mimi hadn’t has any other option than just sitting there and hearing all this silently looking at her sister who just kept blabbering

CJ jaw dropped and he was beyond shocked

“Wh… What.. d.. d.. do you.. me.. mean by Mina’s husband to be?? He stammered

Just then Mina came out together with her sister and she was startled to see CJ

“CJ.. ” She called

The look on his face show that her mom had already told him about Justin

“Don’t worry, I will take care of your guest ” Mina’s mom said referring to CJ while Mina angrily went to where Justin was sitting.

CJ ‘s POV

After some minutes of Mina’s mom telling me about Mina getting married

I can’t stop the thoughts from occurring in my head. It’s driving me fucking mental.

My Mina… She’s mine. No one else’s.

She is happy that I will be getting married to Kayla but not her daughter.

I love Mina and I can’t stand it seeing her with another guy

I just can’t help it though; she’s fucking mine. She needs to fucking know it. Understand it. Embrace it. Appreciate it.

I can’t focus. All I can focus on is the puny shit’s look of pure desire, him touching her arm. I know she loves me but nothing stops me from being a jealous prick. I can rationalise all I like but I can never, ever put my mind at rest.

They were a little too close together for my liking.

I wait another couple of minutes, my vision turning into slow

Justin kept talking to me but I just turn deaf ears to whatever he was saying.

I looked at CJ and I could see that he was really feeling uncomfortable

Why did he come?? I thought he finally chose to be marry Kayla

“So that is how I manage to skip the test ” Justin said as he burst laughing but I didn’t even laugh talkless of smiling

Doesn’t he understand that I don’t like him??

I was waiting for the perfect timing when my mom is going to go inside the kitchen or somewhere in the restaurant for me to get the hell out of here

After several minutes of talking, he lean close and pecked me on my cheeks, I was shocked then I looked at CJ.. the expression on his face was that of shock and anger

My mom went to the kitchen…. Time to act fast

“Sorry our meeting ends here ” I said as I stood up and went to where CJ was standing, I held his hand and we both make our way outside.

“The car is over there ‘ He said but I just ignored him and held his hand tightly as we both started running.

Manager Don’s POV

I dialed the number and he answered immediately.

“Hello, I want you to do me a Favour?? I said

“Anything for you boss”

“I want you to kill someone ” I said while looking at the picture in front of me

“Who??

“I will send the picture to you now and I want the person dead tonight ” I said

“Money??

“Everything will be taking care of, just make sure you get rid of the person.. Okay???

Eve’s POV

I peeped through the door as I looked at Eric, he was sitting down and writing something

I wonder what he is writing that makes him focus like that??

I stopped what I was doing and stood upright

What am I doing??

Am I stalking him or what??

What is wrong with me?? Why is my heart beating so fast?? I thought as I touch my chest

Suddenly the door unlocked as my eyes went wide in horror as only one word came out of my mouth.

“Eric.. ..”

“What’re you doing here?? He asked as he stared at me and I didn’t know what to say “is it manager Don??

“No no.. Not at all” I said as I shook my head

“Then what??

“Uhmm… Can I take you out tonight?? I asked then quickly cover my mouth

What is wrong with me?? Why did I say that??

“You’re acting weird making me feel uncomfortable, if you want to repay me about last night then you don’t have to ” He said and walked away

I felt heartbroken.. Did he just reject my offer??

But why did I say that in the first place?? Am I perhaps asking him out on a date?? Noo that can’t be.

I was still thinking when a figure stood in front of me

I looked up to see Eric

“Fine, I accept but you will be the one paying ” He said and with that he left

I smiled to myself but why am I soo happy?? Why did I feel so safe around him??

Perhaps have I falling in love with him?? Noo he is in love with someone else so I need to get my grip together

CJ’s POV

“Mina… Where are we going?? I asked but she just kept dragging me into the forest but she didn’t answer nor look at me

The sounds of the water get louder with every step and when we walk out onto an open piece of land there is a waterfall, cascading down from the rocks above and landing in a fast stream of water leading to who knows where.

She stopped and release my hand

I looked around and everywhere was quite

Immediately he remove the mask off my face, I quickly looked away..

“CJ ” Mom yelled

He stood there for some minutes without saying anything and I was now getting scared thinking he has seen my face

“Hey look at me” he whispered and that is when I knew it was over for me

“Chen Jai” I heard a familiar voice, CJ turned away but I refused to look at anyone

“Ohh mom good morning ” He greeted

“CJ, how many times have I told you to stop calling her mom?? Does she look like the woman who gave birth to you?? My mom asked

That is when it dawned on me that it was my step mom

“Chen Jai, you have to listen to your mom and…… ” She started coughing and I could see CJ drop the mask as he ran to her

I swiftly pick it up and wore it back

“Are You alright?? CJ asked looking concerned

I stared at my step mom and clenched my fist, I know she is pretending, why did she want to hurt CJ who loves her more than his own mother.

Kayla’s POV

I have been looking at Mina for the past 16min now, she is cooking.

“Come to my house tonight for your punishment ” He said and walked out leaving me in dismay

I sniffed as tears rolled down my eyes, I drop to a squat and started crying

I heard someone footstep in the elevator but I didn’t bother to look up thinking it was manager Don

The elevator closed but I just kept crying

I felt a tap on my shoulder making me looked up

To my surprise, it was Eric

I stood up and immediately look away, I slowly wipe my tears away and I flinched because of the place where Manager Don punched me

“What happened to your face?? He asked

“Nothing ‘ I replied still not looking at mew

He grabbed me by my hand and make me face him, he was surprised to see my face

“Who did this to you?? He asked and I looked at his sparkling eyes

What is wrong with me??

“I bumped into the wall.. And it’s just a scratch.. Okay?? I said and jerk my hand away from his grip

“Is Suzy still threatening you?? He asked “did she send some goons to attack you?? You should tell me the truth because I make a promise to protect you and I will have myself to blame if I fail to fulfill my promise ” he said and I started feeling goosebumps

The elevator stopped and I looked at him for the last time before stepping out

“This has nothing to do with your sister and also what is the point of you protecting me when you can’t even protect yourself ” I said and walked away

CJ’s POV

I have been trying the unknown number but it was not reachable..

Who could the person be?? How did she get this picture??

Is it true that Chu Jung is alive??

If she is alive then where could she be??..

I stood up from my bed and was about to go outside to eat the food that Mina Prepared

May God protect me?? I wish the food is safe

I really hate going to toilet after eating bad food, I hope it is good…

I opened the door and was about to step inside but Kayla pushed me back and smile seductively at me before closing the door

What is this girl up to now??

CJ’s POV

“CJ, why are you doing this?? We’re both getting married in the next few days and….

“Gosh.. I hate hearing that, Kayla you’re such a nice decent girl”

Wait do I just say decent?? Well I don’t know

“But I can’t marry you, I only take you as a sister and nothing else ” I said

“CJ… ” Mina called

She was upstairs and I know she’s coming straight to my room

“I have to go now.. Mina is on her way here ” I said

I was shocked and quickly disengage the kiss..

She is quite excited

What am I going to do now? I guess Mina must be crying now

Suddenly Mina entered, she was carrying something

It was white in color, it look like flour and to my greatest surprise, she poured it on Kayla’s body then went to my bathroom and brought out a pail of water splashing it on her body

“Kayla, how dare you stoop so low to force a kiss with someone who is already taken. Huh?! Mina yelled

My jaw dropped as I looked at Mina with total amazement

“Gross.. ” Kayla whimpered like a baby, her body is now a total mess

I was trying hard not to laugh

“Kayla back off… CJ is mine and he is mine alone ” Mina said and went back to the bathroom

She came back with my toothbrush and gave it to me

“Hey take and brush your teeth, I can’t stand kissing you knowing this disgusting slut has kissed you ” She said and I collected the brush

Eve’s eyes snapped open, and she took a quick, half panicked look the darkened room. She tried to focus, but for some reason, the warmth of the bed made it hard for her to think.

She pulled herself out of the bed, and felt around until she

found her hone. As the screen lit up, she was surprised to see 5missed calls from manager Don

She recalled about him telling her to come to his house

She sighed and peered at the time

It was 9:34pm

‘ I have to go now before I get into more trouble .’ She reasoned, as she used the lit screen as a makeshift flashlight to look for

her things, like her bra, and her underwear

She had managed to pull everything she needed on, including

her boots.

She walked towards the door and slowly, opened the door and made her way out. The hallway was quiet, dark. Eve knew that

everyone was in bed, sleeping, dreaming about things like

tomorrow and whatever adventures the day might bring.

When she got to the living room, She pulled out her phone, and lit her way down from the rise and off towards towards the door.

“And why are you sneaking out?” The voice almost gave Eve

a heart attack. She’d jumped, literally

It was her brother, Max

“You almost gave me a heart attack.” She hissed, keeping her voice low while going on the offensive. She knew it probably wouldn’t work, but it was the best idea she could think of at the time.

“But why are you sneaking out?” He asked from his place on the couch. The lamp next to him had come to life, illuminating the room with it’s single glow.

“I didn’t want to wake you guys up.” Eve tried, sounding like it eas obvious. “I’m polite like that.”

“But why are you sneaking out of this house?” He asked again and this time Eve was pissed off

“Hey, its none of your business so go and sleep ” Eve said and went outside ignoring her brother who was calling her and threatening to tell their mother.

Mina’s POV

“So..?? I asked as he tasted the food

His face expression changed as he forced a smile on his face

“Uhn… Is it bad?? I asked looking worried but he continue eating the food then stopped eating

I could hear it… It was a stone

“Hey, spit it out” I said while stretching my hands forth but to my surprise he swallowed it

“CJ?? ” I exclaimed

“How do you expect me to spit it out when the food is soo tasty ” He said as he continue to eat the food

I decided to taste the food myself

I picked the chopstick and eat the first bite, my eyes widened as I quickly ran to the sink and spit it out

It was the worst food I have ever tasted in my life.

I looked at CJ but he just continue eating the food, I walked over to him and wanted him to stop eating the food but he refused

“C’mon stop eating the food, you might get sick” I said and he shot me a glance

“Can’t I eat in peace?? you don’t expect me to waste this food because you really try hard to cook for me” He said and continue eating.

I just kept looking at him

The food was really bad but he didn’t care…

I quickly went to his back and wrapped my arms on his neck and hugged him tightly

“I love you CJ and I promise that the next one will be better ” I said and he caress my hand as he continue eating

Eve’s POV

Weaving in and out of the crowded streets slipping into an empty alleyway. I panted from my sweltering layers of clothes

Counting the change in my hand to see how much I had for a bus ticket I walked right into something

Stumbling back with the coins cluttering to the stone ground. I managed to stay on my feet looking up to see I hadn’t walked into a wall, but a man in a bright orange clothes

His eyes trailed up and down my body causing me to

nearly gag while guessing what he was thinking about.

“Excuse me.” I said trying to walk around him, but another guy blocked my path.

“Isn’t it hot for all those clothes?” the one blocking me asked.

“Let us buy you a drink what’d you say?” the one I bumped into asked.

“No thank you. I must be going.” I answered sternly trying to

rush past them, but one of them tried to grab me getting a

hold of my hood. Turning I slapped his hand away.

From the force of the yank, i realized my hood was now off for

all to see. Turning around facing the men they gasped and

their jaws dropped.

“Wow.. Isn’t she one of the backup dancers of uhm.. What is it called?? One of them said and I tried to walk past them but they pulled me back

I felt a hand on my shoulder, I was suddenly thrown into a wall by my shoulders.

I let out a squeak and he smacked me across the face hard, I clutched my cheek and kicked him in the shin, I tried to bypass him but he slammed me harder into the wall and I tried to

scream, he shoved Cotten in my mouth and kicked me in

the side. I fell over, he grabbed me by my neck and held

me to the wall.

Tears rushed down my face, the only thing keeping me conscious was the killer pain in my side.

“She’s a pretty one, this is going to be so much fun.” The

man holding my neck whispered to me deviously, I made

a sound that resembled at growl, only to be kicked in the

gut.

“If i were you, I will never do that ” A familiar voice said and they turned

It was a guy and he was wearing hood, I couldn’t get to see his face because I was now feeling sick due to the pain and everything was getting blur

“You should back off unless you don’t want to get hurt ” One of the guy said and the other guy laughed

“Of course i really wish to back off but I just can’t because I make a promise to the girl that I will always protect her and you should know promise is a dept, and I don’t like owing people so you should be the one to back off ” The guy said

I know who it is…. Eric??

What is he doing here?? And how did he find me??

My head started to ache badly making me groaned in pain then suddenly everything went blank

Suzy’s POV

(THE NEXT DAY)

Everyone gathered around the dining table and was eating, I stood opposite the door looking at them…

I know with me wearing my mask, Mina won’t be able to recognize me

CJ was sitting beside Mina and I could sense that Kayla was jealous

“CJ, exchange your seat with your cousin and sit down beside your future wife ” Mom said but CJ didn’t answer as he continue to eat

“Why did you even bring her to this house?? Huh?? Mom yelled but CJ didn’t even bother to look at her.

“It’s okay mother, Mina has poisoned CJ mind that he has even forgotten that you’re his mother making her chose Mina over you” Kayla said while glaring at Mina

CJ stopped eating and looked up at them

“What’s the purpose of this meeting?? Dad is not here and mom is also not here ” CJ said and I gritted my teeth from where I was standing

CJ should stop calling her mom, she is evil

She’s not whom he think she really is.

“Very soon, you will get to know the purpose of this meeting ” My mom replied with a smirk making me think she’s up to something.

Mina was silent throughout and wasn’t saying anything

Mina’s POV

I really don’t want to come here in the first place but CJ forced me to come and I am beggining to hate this..

“Jian.. ” CJ mom called

Then a lady wearing a mask came out, she was wearing a maid uniform but I just ignored her and looked at CJ

I think he is also getting bored

He looked at me and smiled, i manage to smile back

“I need more tea” CJ mom told the weird maid

Why is she putting on mask??

She carried the jug and started pouring the tea in the cup, I was about to look away but my eyes caught something on her wrist.

There was three star tattoo on her wrist.

It looks familiar, i have seen it before but where

I looked at her and she immediately hid her hand at her back and was about going

“Suzy?? I called and she stopped

Everyone looked at me and I stood up

“Suzy?? Is that you?? I said knowing fully well that she is the one but what is she doing here

“She is crazy lady who think Eric is his brother and normally live with him ” I said

“Noo, i saw the three tattoo on her wrist when she was pouring you tea ” I said while cutting CJ’s mom short

“Are You insane?? Three star tattoo on the wrist?? Who does that?? Kayla said and i shot her a glare

“Chu jung ” CJ muttered

“What are you talking about?? One of his uncles who was also present at the family meeting asked

“Chu jung also have three star tattoo on her wrist ” CJ said

“I don’t know what you guys are saying but if you will excuse me ” She said and was about walking away but CJ stood up and quickly walked up to her

“What is going on here?? Someone said and I turned to see CJ dad as he approached the dining table and also CJ step mom followed

CJ pulled her arm and checked her wrist to see the tattoo

His face reddened as his eyes widened

What happened??

“Three star tattoo?! He said as he gasped and she quickly jerk her hand away

“Let go off me ” She said

“CJ, what is your problem with the new maid?? His father yelled

CJ was now shaking as he took a step backward

What is wrong with him??

“, Chu.. Chu.. Jung ” He stammered and I was baffled

Why is he calling Suzy chu jung??

“CJ, you’ve completely lost it.. Chu jung is dead.. Can’t you admit that?? His mother yelled

“The three star tattoo on chu jung wrist are not equal and….. ” he stopped as he shut his eyes

. Flash Back

“Chu jung, what are you doing?? Isn’t that a tattoo?? CJ asked looking surprised

“Yeah it is dummy, you must not tell mom about this.. Okay??

“The tattoo is not even attractive ” CJ said as he rolled his eyes

“Aish… Get out of my room right now ” Chu jung yelled

“Hey, let me help you” CJ said as he pulled her sister hand forth

“What are you doing?? Chu jung asked looking confused

Just then CJ drew three little star on her left wrist

“Hey stop, let me take a look at that ” she said as she looked at what CJ was holding..”I don’t want a permanent tattoo ” Chu jung yelled and CJ was Astonished

“This one is permanent?? But what of the you use on your right wrist “

“That one is temporary dummy, what am I going to do now?? The tattoo is not even equal and it looks ugly and what is with the dot here?? Chu jung frowned

“Sorry.. It was a mistake ” CJ said as he lowered his head

“Permanent mistake “

BACK TO PRESENT

“Permanent mistake ” CJ said and Suzy eyes widened…

CJ took a step forward and wanted to remove the mask but Suzy quickly stepped back and she quickly pick a knife

“If you dare come near me then I will stab you with this ” She threatened and everyone gasped but CJ didn’t care as he keep moving closer

“I know you won’t want to hurt your little brother ” CJ said as he looked at Suzy

“CJ step back ” Mina yelled looking scared

CJ took some steps forward and Suzy continue to threatened him

Her hands were shaking and she was sweating

“I will continue to do this until I remove that mask ” he said and took a step forward

Everyone was scared and the bodyguards rushed inside but couldn’t do anything as they were startled to see the scene before them

I went downstairs to check on CJ but i was surprised to see the lady who gave me food earlier.

She was sitting on the couch and pressing her phone

I quickly walk up to her and smile broadly at her

“Hi, thank you so much for the food ” I said and she smiled back at me

“Its nothing ” She said

I was about to go but she called me by my name making me look at her

“Uhm.. Mina, aren’t you jealous or angry that i will be getting marry to CJ” She asked and i shook my head

“Nope i am not jealous at all and i am really happy that CJ is going to get marry to someone like you ” I said

“But you’re his girlfriend, you should be jealous or don’t you love him or Perhaps did he force himself on you ” she asked and i bit my lips thinking of what to say

She is right but CJ was never my boyfriend and i Don’t even have any feelings for him

If i tell her the truth, it won’t turn out good

“Err.. Well.. I am actually jealous but there’s nothing i can do since his mom doesn’t approve our relationship so i am cool with it” i said

“But CJ said the only person he is going to get marry to is you and nobody else ” he said and my eyes widened as i looked at her dumbfounded

“Not fine Eric because i have missed you and it seems you’ve forgotten about me ” She said and i swallowed my spit

I was about to talk but the crazy lady started whimpering and shivering, tears were rolling down her cheeks

“Mina i will call you back ” i said and quickly hang up

I dropped to a squat and looked at the Crazy lady, she was saying something which i don’t quite understand, it seems she is having a bad dream.

“Hey wake up.. Wake up ” i said and to my surprise she was sweating profusely

I touched her forehead and i was astonished that her body was hot

Gosh!!!!

I quickly went to the kitchen to get a small towel and a bowl of water, i went back to her and dip the towel in the water and squeezed it

I placed it on her forehead and continue to look at her

She must have a terrible past that keeps haunting her down.

I overheard Mina talking to someone on the phone but i think the person hang up on her making her feel down

I shook my head and went downstairs, i was about going outside just then I bumped into kayla

“Ohh sorry, are you okay?? She asked and i nodded

“What about you?? Are you okay?? I asked and she blushed instead

I was about to go but she called me back

“CJ, can i ask you something?? She asked

“Sure go ahead ” i replied

“What can i do for you to like me and maybe fall in love with me?? She asked and i arched my brow

I was really heartbroken when Eric cut the call, i think he has really forget practically everything about me

He really don’t want to hear my voice and he even refuse a video call with me.

I looked outside through the window and see CJ, he was with his headphone and the minister daughter was just following him up and down

Why is CJ like that?? He should try to be sweet to his future wife

Aish… that guy is really a jerk

I walked out of my room and was about to go downstairs when i notice he didn’t lock the door of his room, i walk towards his room and was about to lock it but i went inside instead

I went to his reading table and i see a book with DIARY written boldly on it

I looked away cos i know that reading someone diary’s is bad but something within me was so curios to know more about him.

I looked outside through his window and realize he was still outside, i quickly pick his DIARY and open it, i ignore so many chapters and then i glanced through the date we both met

“Diary, i know it has been long since i have written to you but i met this crazy girl and believe me i have never come across a girl more crazier than her “

Gosh!!! this guy is really annoying

How dare he call me a crazy girl??

I skipped some part but then i stopped

I shouldn’t be reading his diary, it is quite bad

CJ was feeling uncomfortable with Kayla following him, he wish he was Mina who was actually following him

He turned and Kayla lean close

He was surprised thinking she wanted to kiss her, she quickly push her away making her fall down

“Ahhhhh.. ” she winced in pain

“Are you okay?? CJ asked

Kayla manage to stand up and looked at CJ sadly

“I was only trying to… to…. never mind ” She said and ran inside, she was really hurt and then her phone started ringing

It was CJ mom, she quickly picked it

“Hello, i think CJ will never like me, he is in love with mina” She said sadly

“Then you don’t have to worry, we have to get rid of her first so do you put the powder i asked you to put in her food “

“Yes i put inside and she has finish eating it… What is the purpose of the powder ” Kayla asked looking confused

CJ mom had asked her to prepare a delicious rice cake for mina and put the powder in it

“It is poison ” She told her and Kayla was shocked

“Poi… Poi.. Poison?? She gasped

“Don’t worry, it won’t kill her quickly, you just keep putting the powder in her food and it will killing her gradually.. the poison will be eating her intestine and will be affecting her gradually and she will be paralysed then leading to her death you don’t have to worry cos they won’t suspect a thing even if she die.. You must get marry to CJ and that’s it ” CJ mother said

Kayla who was still baffled manage to say okay and then CJ mother hang up

So the powder was poison??

“Hey ” she turned around and see mina coming down the stairs

Kayla quickly adjust herself and manage to smile

“Ohhh hi Mina ” she said

“You don’t look too good.. Did CJ hurt you?? Tell me then i will show him what i am capable off ” Mina said and Kayla shook her head

“Well mina, let me get you an apple juice ” kayla said and went to the kitchen

“Awwn… She’s so nice ” Mina muttered to herself

On the other hand, Kayla sprinkle some powder inside the juice and went to mina while smiling

“Take this ” She said and mina took it from her

“Thank ” Mina said and was about to drink, just then CJ entered and they both looked at him

“Noo Mina, i will get him another one.. you just drink that one ” Kayla said

“Never mind, i am not even interested in drinking any juice, ” CJ said and looked at Kayla “i am sorry about earlier “

With that he walked away

“Like seriously, CJ is annoying isn’t he?? Mina asked as she sip the drink then gulped down everything

Kayla nodded and collected the empty glass from her

“Mina i am sorry ” she said and mina looked at her

“Sorry for what?? She asked

“Sorry for whatsoever may happen to you in future ” Kayla said and quickly walk away leaving Mina in a confused state

“What is she trying to say??

He really don’t want to hear my voice and he even refuse a video call with me.

I looked outside through the window and see CJ, he was with his headphone and the minister daughter was just following him up and down

Why is CJ like that?? He should try to be sweet to his future wife

Aish… that guy is really a jerk

I walked out of my room and was about to go downstairs when i notice he didn’t lock the door of his room, i walk towards his room and was about to lock it but i went inside instead

I went to his reading table and i see a book with DIARY written boldly on it

I looked away cos i know that reading someone diary’s is bad but something within me was so curios to know more about him.

I looked outside through his window and realize he was still outside, i quickly pick his DIARY and open it, i ignore so many chapters and then i glanced through the date we both met

“Diary, i know it has been long since i have written to you but i met this crazy girl and believe me i have never come across a girl more crazier than her “

Gosh!!! this guy is really annoying

How dare he call me a crazy girl??

I skipped some part but then i stopped

I shouldn’t be reading his diary, it is quite bad

CJ was feeling uncomfortable with Kayla following him, he wish he was Mina who was actually following him

He turned and Kayla lean close

He was surprised thinking she wanted to kiss her, she quickly push her away making her fall down

“Ahhhhh.. ” she winced in pain

“Are you okay?? CJ asked

Kayla manage to stand up and looked at CJ sadly

“I was only trying to… to…. never mind ” She said and ran inside, she was really hurt and then her phone started ringing

It was CJ mom, she quickly picked it

“Hello, i think CJ will never like me, he is in love with mina” She said sadly

“Then you don’t have to worry, we have to get rid of her first so do you put the powder i asked you to put in her food “

“Yes i put inside and she has finish eating it… What is the purpose of the powder ” Kayla asked looking confused

CJ mom had asked her to prepare a delicious rice cake for mina and put the powder in it

“It is poison ” She told her and Kayla was shocked

“Poi… Poi.. Poison?? She gasped

“Don’t worry, it won’t kill her quickly, you just keep putting the powder in her food and it will killing her gradually.. the poison will be eating her intestine and will be affecting her gradually and she will be paralysed then leading to her death you don’t have to worry cos they won’t suspect a thing even if she die.. You must get marry to CJ and that’s it ” CJ mother said

Kayla who was still baffled manage to say okay and then CJ mother hang up

So the powder was poison??

“Hey ” she turned around and see mina coming down the stairs

Kayla quickly adjust herself and manage to smile

“Ohhh hi Mina ” she said

“You don’t look too good.. Did CJ hurt you?? Tell me then i will show him what i am capable off ” Mina said and Kayla shook her head

“Well mina, let me get you an apple juice ” kayla said and went to the kitchen

“Awwn… She’s so nice ” Mina muttered to herself

On the other hand, Kayla sprinkle some powder inside the juice and went to mina while smiling

“Take this ” She said and mina took it from her

“Thank ” Mina said and was about to drink, just then CJ entered and they both looked at him

“Noo Mina, i will get him another one.. you just drink that one ” Kayla said

“Never mind, i am not even interested in drinking any juice, ” CJ said and looked at Kayla “i am sorry about earlier “

With that he walked away

“Like seriously, CJ is annoying isn’t he?? Mina asked as she sip the drink then gulped down everything

Kayla nodded and collected the empty glass from her

“Mina i am sorry ” she said and mina looked at her

“Sorry for what?? She asked

“Sorry for whatsoever may happen to you in future ” Kayla said and quickly walk away leaving Mina in a confused state

I went downstairs to check on CJ but i was surprised to see the lady who gave me food earlier.

She was sitting on the couch and pressing her phone

I quickly walk up to her and smile broadly at her

“Hi, thank you so much for the food ” I said and she smiled back at me

I was about to go but she called me by my name making me look at her

“Uhm.. Mina, aren’t you jealous or angry that i will be getting marry to CJ” She asked and i shook my head

“Nope i am not jealous at all and i am really happy that CJ is going to get marry to someone like you ” I said

“But you’re his girlfriend, you should be jealous or don’t you love him or Perhaps did he force himself on you ” she asked and i bit my lips thinking of what to say

She is right but CJ was never my boyfriend and i Don’t even have any feelings for him

If i tell her the truth, it won’t turn out good

“Err.. Well.. I am actually jealous but there’s nothing i can do since his mom doesn’t approve our relationship so i am cool with it” i said

“Not fine Eric because i have missed you and it seems you’ve forgotten about me ” She said and i swallowed my spit

I was about to talk but the crazy lady started whimpering and shivering, tears were rolling down her cheeks

“Mina i will call you back ” i said and quickly hang up

I dropped to a squat and looked at the Crazy lady, she was saying something which i don’t quite understand, it seems she is having a bad dream.

“Hey wake up.. Wake up ” i said and to my surprise she was sweating profusely

I touched her forehead and i was astonished that her body was hot

Gosh!!!!

I quickly went to the kitchen to get a small towel and a bowl of water, i went back to her and dip the towel in the water and squeezed it

I placed it on her forehead and continue to look at her

She must have a terrible past that keeps haunting her down.

I overheard Mina talking to someone on the phone but i think the person hang up on her making her feel down

I shook my head and went downstairs, i was about going outside just then I bumped into kayla

“Ohh sorry, are you okay?? She asked and i nodded

“What about you?? Are you okay?? I asked and she blushed instead

I was about to go but she called me back

“CJ, can i ask you something?? She asked

“Sure go ahead ” i replied

“What can i do for you to like me and maybe fall in love with me?? She asked and i arched my brow

You must get marry to CJ and that’s it ” CJ mother said

Kayla who was still baffled manage to say okay and then CJ mother hang up

So the powder was poison??

“Hey ” she turned around and see mina coming down the stairs

Kayla quickly adjust herself and manage to smile

“Ohhh hi Mina ” she said

“You don’t look too good.. Did CJ hurt you?? Tell me then i will show him what i am capable off ” Mina said and Kayla shook her head

“Well mina, let me get you an apple juice ” kayla said and went to the kitchen

“Awwn… She’s so nice ” Mina muttered to herself

On the other hand, Kayla sprinkle some powder inside the juice and went to mina while smiling

“Take this ” She said and mina took it from her

“Thank ” Mina said and was about to drink, just then CJ entered and they both looked at him

“See your face, you look tired.. Come and have this ” Mina said and Kayla was shocked

“Noo Mina, i will get him another one.. you just drink that one ” Kayla said

“Never mind, i am not even interested in drinking any juice, ” CJ said and looked at Kayla “i am sorry about earlier “

With that he walked away

“Like seriously, CJ is annoying isn’t he?? Mina asked as she sip the drink then gulped down everything

Kayla nodded and collected the empty glass from her

“Mina i am sorry ” she said and mina looked at her

“Sorry for what?? She asked

“Sorry for whatsoever may happen to you in future ” Kayla said and quickly walk away leaving Mina in a confused state

“What is she trying to say??

Mina POV

I went downstairs to check on CJ but i was surprised to see the lady who gave me food earlier.

She was sitting on the couch and pressing her phone

I quickly walk up to her and smile broadly at her

“Hi, thank you so much for the food ” I said and she smiled back at me

“Its nothing ” She said

I was about to go but she called me by my name making me look at her

“Uhm.. Mina, aren’t you jealous or angry that i will be getting marry to CJ” She asked and i shook my head

“Nope i am not jealous at all and i am really happy that CJ is going to get marry to someone like you ” I said

“But you’re his girlfriend, you should be jealous or don’t you love him or Perhaps did he force himself on you ” she asked and i bit my lips thinking of what to say

She is right but CJ was never my boyfriend and i Don’t even have any feelings for him

If i tell her the truth, it won’t turn out good

“Err.. Well.. I am actually jealous but there’s nothing i can do since his mom doesn’t approve our relationship so i am cool with it” i said

“But CJ said the only person he is going to get marry to is you and nobody else ” he said and my eyes widened as i looked at her dumbfounded

“What!!!! I exclaimed

I quickly excused myself and went straightaway to CJ’s room

I barged in without even knocking and i met him writing something down, i walk towards him and he glanced at me

“You’re awake?? He asked then he looked away as he continue with what he was doing

I continue to glare at him without uttering a single word

“What are you doing here?? He asked as he focus on what he was writing

“Did you tell your mom that you’re going to marry me?? I asked sounding pissed off

“Yes” he answered straight forward without denying it

“Gosh!!! Are you insane?? I half yelled at him “there’s no way I am going to get marry to you “

“Says who?? He asked

“Says me ” i shouted “and besides you’re not my type”

I said and he looked at me

“I am not your type?? He asked and stood up “then Eric is your type ” he said while smiling

“Hey, don’t bring my best friend into this ” i said while pointing my finger at him

“I am not talking about your best friend, i am talking about your crush ” he said with a smirk

What is wrong with him??

” Look CJ, you should get marry to that sweet lady downstairs and not me , there’s no way i will be getting marry to you.. So get that stick to your brain ‘ i shouted and with that i left his room

🌹Eric POV🌹

I looked at the Crazy lady, she was already asleep, She’s kinda weird

Who is Mario and why is she so frightened and scared just by seeing fire??

My phone started ringing, i checked the caller but it was a private number, i sighed and picked it

“Hello “

” Eric, it’s me Mina ” she said with her angelic voice

“Ohh hi Mina, how are you?? I asked

“Not fine Eric because i have missed you and it seems you’ve forgotten about me ” She said and i swallowed my spit

I was about to talk but the crazy lady started whimpering and shivering, tears were rolling down her cheeks

“Mina i will call you back ” i said and quickly hang up

I dropped to a squat and looked at the Crazy lady, she was saying something which i don’t quite understand, it seems she is having a bad dream.

“Hey wake up.. Wake up ” i said and to my surprise she was sweating profusely

I touched her forehead and i was astonished that her body was hot

Gosh!!!!

I quickly went to the kitchen to get a small towel and a bowl of water, i went back to her and dip the towel in the water and squeezed it

I placed it on her forehead and continue to look at her

She must have a terrible past that keeps haunting her down.

🌷CJ POV🌷

I overheard Mina talking to someone on the phone but i think the person hang up on her making her feel down

I shook my head and went downstairs, i was about going outside just then I bumped into kayla

“Ohh sorry, are you okay?? She asked and i nodded

“What about you?? Are you okay?? I asked and she blushed instead

I was about to go but she called me back

“CJ, can i ask you something?? She asked

“Sure go ahead ” i replied

“What can i do for you to like me and maybe fall in love with me?? She asked and i arched my brow

Why is she asking me a Rhetorical question??

“I Don’t know ” i replied and walked outside but she followed me

Goodness!! didn’t she understand the fact that the only person I am in love with is Mina

🌺Mina POV🌺

I was really heartbroken when Eric cut the call, i think he has really forget practically everything about me

He really don’t want to hear my voice and he even refuse a video call with me.

I looked outside through the window and see CJ, he was with his headphone and the minister daughter was just following him up and down

Why is CJ like that?? He should try to be sweet to his future wife

Aish… that guy is really a jerk

I walked out of my room and was about to go downstairs when i notice he didn’t lock the door of his room, i walk towards his room and was about to lock it but i went inside instead

I went to his reading table and i see a book with DIARY written boldly on it

I looked away cos i know that reading someone diary’s is bad but something within me was so curios to know more about him.

I looked outside through his window and realize he was still outside, i quickly pick his DIARY and open it, i ignore so many chapters and then i glanced through the date we both met

“Diary, i know it has been long since i have written to you but i met this crazy girl and believe me i have never come across a girl more crazier than her “

Gosh!!! this guy is really annoying

How dare he call me a crazy girl??

I skipped some part but then i stopped

I shouldn’t be reading his diary, it is quite bad

CJ was feeling uncomfortable with Kayla following him, he wish he was Mina who was actually following him

He turned and Kayla lean close

He was surprised thinking she wanted to kiss her, she quickly push her away making her fall down

“Ahhhhh.. ” she winced in pain

“Are you okay?? CJ asked

Kayla manage to stand up and looked at CJ sadly

“I was only trying to… to…. never mind ” She said and ran inside, she was really hurt and then her phone started ringing

It was CJ mom, she quickly picked it

“Hello, i think CJ will never like me, he is in love with mina” She said sadly

“Then you don’t have to worry, we have to get rid of her first so do you put the powder i asked you to put in her food “

“Yes i put inside and she has finish eating it… What is the purpose of the powder ” Kayla asked looking confused

CJ mom had asked her to prepare a delicious rice cake for mina and put the powder in it

“It is poison ” She told her and Kayla was shocked
