    Alexander arrived home and went straight to his room to freshen up, soon after freshening up, he came down to the dinner table to see it was empty.

        “Aurora”. he called and his voice echoed in the room, but no response.” Aurora”. he called again and left to her room to see she was not there, he came to the kitchen, but he wasn’t there”.Where the hell did she ran off to”. He wondered and decided to call her cell phone, it rang but no one picked. “Where is she?”. He sighed and walked outside, he called out to the security who ran to answer him.” Where is Aurora? Did she leave this house?”.

       👨✈️”Yes sir, she left an hour ago”. 

         “Where did she say she was going?”.

        👨✈️” I don’t know sir, she was in a hurry when she left”.

         “Is her grandmother sick again?”. He thought and then went back inside. 

        In an unknown building, Aurora was placed on a bed in a room, she began to regain consciousness as she started hearing voices, she opened her eyes slowly and saw two old men standing by the doorstep step chatting with their backs against her. She sat upright on the bed and stared around confusedly, then one of them interrupted her.

        👴” You are awake”.

        They turn to her smiling and she stares confusedly at them.

         “Who are you?”.

        🧔 ” We are your friends”

          “Why am I here?”.

         👴” Well, we brought you here”.

         “What? Why?”. She asked confusedly.

       👴” To have you for a night”.

       They laughed evilly and she stared disgustingly at them.

       🧔”Yes, your boyfriend sold you to us “.

         “Excuse me! What the hell are you talking about?”.

        👴” Exactly what you heard, he sold you to us, believe me when I say I have been admiring your sexy body for a while now”.

         “How disgusting! Charles, we never sold me to two disgusting fellows like you for money”. she said.

        🧔” Don’t be stupid, you think we are lying, we gave him half of the money to make us have you for a night, but unfortunately, our plan didn’t work out because someone came to your rescue, but this time, no one will save you from us”.

        They laughed wickedly and She became scared and wondered why Charles would do this to her.

        ••ALEXANDER’S MANSION••

       Alexander got off the phone with Erica after she told him Aurora’s grandmother was fine and Aurora was not there.

        “Where the heck did she go to? Is she in trouble?”. He sighed tiredly and tried her number once again but it wasn’t going through. ” Did she go to that good-for-nothing boyfriend of hers? She better not test my patience”. He stood up and left for his car, he ordered the security man to open the gate and he drove out heading to the bar.

      Meanwhile, Aurora was thinking of a way to escape from the two old men, even if she was sold as a slave to lay with these two old men, she would rather die, she can’t lose her first time to these two old fools. Although she and Charles had made a promise never to sleep with each other until their wedding night. tears pour out of her eyes as she thinks of what Charles has done, she can’t believe he sold her to two men to penetrate into her because of money 

        👴”We owe you now, come to us”.

         “Don’t come anywhere close to me”. She sobs leaning at the edge of the wall.

        🧔” Come on, we are not going to hurt you, we promise to be gentle with you”.

        “Don’t! You two disgust me, how could you be so heartless, you two are like my father, why do you want to ruin an innocent girl’s life because of your selfish desire”. She said.

     👴”We don’t care, you are not our daughter and we are not your father either, so this makes it more fun and exciting”.

         ” Don’t you dare come close to me, I will scream”.

      🧔”Go ahead, no one will hear you anyway, we are the only three in this place”.

      👴”Now come to us”.

       Aurora stood up from the bed trying to escape from them, the first rushed to bounce on her, she was quick enough to hit him hard on his balls, and he groaned in pain and fell on the floor. The second man was surprised by her actions.

        🧔”You think you are tough”.

       Aurora turned left and caught sight of a lamp and she picked it up quickly.

        “If you come close to me, I will hit you with this”. she threatened and the man laughed.

       🧔” You think that will scare me?”.

        He rushed to her and Aurora used the lamp to hit his face hard, he fell on the floor and passed out bleeding from the face. She saw the men on the floor very weak to move, she rushed to the door, unlocked it, and rushed out 

       Along the driver’s way, Alexander was getting worried about Aurora’s whereabouts, he got to the bar and information got to him that they hadn’t seen her and her boyfriend around.

        “I just hope you are not in trouble”. He took his phone and called his men to search around for her, after a while, he ended the call and increased the speed of his car. 

        Aurora managed to sneak out of the building, but two of the old men escorts caught sight of her, immediately she met eyes with them, and she took to her heels and they chased after her, the other men ran inside to see their boss on the floor, one was in pain and the other laying lifelessly on the floor. Aurora continued to run as fast as her legs could carry her, she was getting weak while the men continued to chase after her, she came out to the road running, and the place was lonely with no cars or people moving around, she continued to use her last strength to run praying for someone to come to her aid, Suddenly she saw a car coming from afar and the two men chasing after her was getting closer.

       Meanwhile, Alexander was driving along the lonely road when he noticed someone running in his direction, he increased the speed of the car, getting closer it was Aurora.

         ” Aurora”. He called happily and continued driving toward her. He saw her fall down on the floor and caught two guys from behind coming toward them. 

       Aurora managed to stand up with her leg bleeding, she saw the car was closer to her, and she waved her hand crying for help. Alexander stopped the car and came down, Aurora was surprised and happy at the same time, she ran into his arms crying uncontrollably and Alexander held her back, his men suddenly arrived with their car and he ordered them to chase the two guys who ran back immediately they saw him.

       “Aurora, are you okay, did they hurt you?”. He asked curiously and noticed she blanked out in his arms.” Aurora!”. She carried her to the car and drove away.

        Alexander finally gets hold of the two guys chasing after Aurora, they direct them to the two old men who sent them, where all of them were held captive and taken away.

        Alexander brought Aurora back home and took her to his room where he lay her down gently on the bed, he saw her knee bleeding, so he rushed to his wardrobe, brought out his first aid kit, and started treating the wound. After he was done dressing the wound, he moved closer to her and stared lovingly at her.

        “Why do you like getting yourself into trouble?”. he sighed tiredly and then his cell phone rang.” Did you get them?”.He asked on the phone talking to his men. “Good! Castrate those two old fools and dump their bodies in their houses”. He hung up and returned his gaze to Aurora.”They will never bother you again”. He felt her forehead and noticed she was running body temperature.

        He left to the kitchen to get a hand towel and a bowl of warm water, he came back, soaked the towel in the bowl, squeezed it, and placed it on her forehead.

        The next day, the two old men were castrated and placed in each of their houses with a note attached to their bodies saying

    Note: Our bad deeds have caught up with us.

       The news of them spread around the city and people mocked them.

        ••ALEXANDER’S MANSION••

       Aurora woke up and groaned quietly in pain as she sat upright on the bed staring strangely at the room.

         ” Where am I?”. She questioned confusedly as the memory of the last night flashed through her head.”Oh gosh”.

         “You are awake”. Alexander interrupted her from the doorstep as he entered with a bowl of hot soup.

        ” Um”.

        “Here, have this”. He sat next to her and gave her the soup.”You were beaten up by a fever last night, so, this soup will help”.

        ” You made this?”.

        “No, I ordered it, and was brought to me a while ago”.

        ” Thank you”. She takes a scoop of the soup.

        “You like it?”. He asked and she nodded. “Ok, I will leave you to enjoy your soup”. he stood up and walked away.

       Some hours later, Alexander was on his balcony working on his laptop with a glass of wine beside him, then, there was a knock on the door, and he asked the person to come in. Aurora entered and moved to him on his balcony.

         ” Um,”. She sputtered.

        “What is it?”. He asked still on his laptop.

        ” I came to say thank you for coming to find me last night, thank you for saving me”. She said nervously and Alexander sighed. he stopped working and turned to her.

        “Can I ask you a question?”.

         ” Yes”.

         “What happened yesterday? Why did you leave the house?”.

        ” I”. She gulped.” I got a call from Charles saying he needed my help, he told me his location and I rushed there to see him has been beaten to a pulp, In the quest to help him to the hospital, we were attacked, that’s how it happened”. She said sadly.

         “Don’t you know it was a trap? Your supposed boyfriend set you up”.

        ” I know”.

       “You do?”

        “Yes”. She sniffed as tears crawled down from her eyes.” He sold me out to those two old men, I can’t believe Charles will do this to me”. She sobs.

        “I tried to warn you”. He sighs feeling pity for her.

        ” Is nothing, am over it now”. She wiped off her tears.”Anyway, thank you for your help, thank you”.

        “You are welcome”.

       ” I will take my leave now”. She gave a slight bow and walked away, Alexander stared after her. 

      Meanwhile, Charles was receiving treatment in the hospital after some good Samaritan brought him to the hospital.

       Some hours later, Alexander was on his balcony working on his laptop with a glass of wine beside him, then, there was a knock on the door, and he asked the person to come in. Aurora entered and moved to him on his balcony.

         ” Um,”. She sputtered.

        “What is it?”. He asked still on his laptop.

        ” I came to say thank you for coming to find me last night, thank you for saving me”. She said nervously and Alexander sighed. he stopped working and turned to her.

        “Can I ask you a question?”.

         ” Yes”.

         “What happened yesterday? Why did you leave the house?”.

        ” I”. She gulped.” I got a call from Charles saying he needed my help, he told me his location and I rushed there to see him has been beaten to a pulp, In the quest to help him to the hospital, we were attacked, that’s how it happened”. She said sadly.

         “Don’t you know it was a trap? Your supposed boyfriend set you up”.

        ” I know”.

       “You do?”

        “Yes”. She sniffed as tears crawled down from her eyes.” He sold me out to those two old men, I can’t believe Charles will do this to me”. She sobs.

        “I tried to warn you”. He sighs feeling pity for her.

        ” Is nothing, am over it now”. She wiped off her tears.”Anyway, thank you for your help, thank you”.

        “You are welcome”.

       ” I will take my leave now”. She gave a slight bow and walked away, Alexander stared after her. 

      Meanwhile, Charles was receiving treatment in the hospital after some good Samaritan brought him to the hospital.

He wondered and decided to call her cell phone, it rang but no one picked. “Where is she?”. He sighed and walked outside, he called out to the security who ran to answer him.” Where is Aurora? Did she leave this house?”.

       👨✈️”Yes sir, she left an hour ago”. 

         “Where did she say she was going?”.

        👨✈️” I don’t know sir, she was in a hurry when she left”.

         “Is her grandmother sick again?”. He thought and then went back inside. 

        In an unknown building, Aurora was placed on a bed in a room, she began to regain consciousness as she started hearing voices, she opened her eyes slowly and saw two old men standing by the doorstep step chatting with their backs against her. She sat upright on the bed and stared around confusedly, then one of them interrupted her.

        👴” You are awake”.

        They turn to her smiling and she stares confusedly at them.

         “Who are you?”.

        🧔 ” We are your friends”

          “Why am I here?”.

         👴” Well, we brought you here”.

         “What? Why?”. She asked confusedly.

       👴” To have you for a night”.

       They laughed evilly and she stared disgustingly at them.

       🧔”Yes, your boyfriend sold you to us “.

         “Excuse me! What the hell are you talking about?”.

        👴” Exactly what you heard, he sold you to us, believe me when I say I have been admiring your sexy body for a while now”.

         “How disgusting! Charles, we never sold me to two disgusting fellows like you for money”. she said.

        🧔” Don’t be stupid, you think we are lying, we gave him half of the money to make us have you for a night, but unfortunately, our plan didn’t work out because someone came to your rescue, but this time, no one will save you from us”.

        They laughed wickedly and She became scared and wondered why Charles would do this to her.

        ••ALEXANDER’S MANSION••

       Alexander got off the phone with Erica after she told him Aurora’s grandmother was fine and Aurora was not there.

        “Where the heck did she go to? Is she in trouble?”. He sighed tiredly and tried her number once again but it wasn’t going through. ” Did she go to that good-for-nothing boyfriend of hers? She better not test my patience”. He stood up and left for his car, he ordered the security man to open the gate and he drove out heading to the bar.

      Meanwhile, Aurora was thinking of a way to escape from the two old men, even if she was sold as a slave to lay with these two old men, she would rather die, she can’t lose her first time to these two old fools. Although she and Charles had made a promise never to sleep with each other until their wedding night. tears pour out of her eyes as she thinks of what Charles has done, she can’t believe he sold her to two men to penetrate into her because of money 

        👴”We owe you now, come to us”.

         “Don’t come anywhere close to me”. She sobs leaning at the edge of the wall.

        🧔” Come on, we are not going to hurt you, we promise to be gentle with you”.

        “Don’t! You two disgust me, how could you be so heartless, you two are like my father, why do you want to ruin an innocent girl’s life because of your selfish desire”. She said.

     👴”We don’t care, you are not our daughter and we are not your father either, so this makes it more fun and exciting”.

         ” Don’t you dare come close to me, I will scream”.

      🧔”Go ahead, no one will hear you anyway, we are the only three in this place”.

      👴”Now come to us”.

       Aurora stood up from the bed trying to escape from them, the first rushed to bounce on her, she was quick enough to hit him hard on his balls, and he groaned in pain and fell on the floor. The second man was surprised by her actions.

        🧔”You think you are tough”.

       Aurora turned left and caught sight of a lamp and she picked it up quickly.

        “If you come close to me, I will hit you with this”. she threatened and the man laughed.

       🧔” You think that will scare me?”.

        He rushed to her and Aurora used the lamp to hit his face hard, he fell on the floor and passed out bleeding from the face. She saw the men on the floor very weak to move, she rushed to the door, unlocked it, and rushed out 

       Along the driver’s way, Alexander was getting worried about Aurora’s whereabouts, he got to the bar and information got to him that they hadn’t seen her and her boyfriend around.

        “I just hope you are not in trouble”. He took his phone and called his men to search around for her, after a while, he ended the call and increased the speed of his car. 

        Aurora managed to sneak out of the building, but two of the old men escorts caught sight of her, immediately she met eyes with them, and she took to her heels and they chased after her, the other men ran inside to see their boss on the floor, one was in pain and the other laying lifelessly on the floor. Aurora continued to run as fast as her legs could carry her, she was getting weak while the men continued to chase after her, she came out to the road running, and the place was lonely with no cars or people moving around, she continued to use her last strength to run praying for someone to come to her aid, Suddenly she saw a car coming from afar and the two men chasing after her was getting closer.

       Meanwhile, Alexander was driving along the lonely road when he noticed someone running in his direction, he increased the speed of the car, getting closer it was Aurora.

         ” Aurora”. He called happily and continued driving toward her. He saw her fall down on the floor and caught two guys from behind coming toward them. 

       Aurora managed to stand up with her leg bleeding, she saw the car was closer to her, and she waved her hand crying for help. Alexander stopped the car and came down, Aurora was surprised and happy at the same time, she ran into his arms crying uncontrollably and Alexander held her back, his men suddenly arrived with their car and he ordered them to chase the two guys who ran back immediately they saw him.

       “Aurora, are you okay, did they hurt you?”. He asked curiously and noticed she blanked out in his arms.” Aurora!”. She carried her to the car and drove away.

        Alexander finally gets hold of the two guys chasing after Aurora, they direct them to the two old men who sent them, where all of them were held captive and taken away.

        Alexander brought Aurora back home and took her to his room where he lay her down gently on the bed, he saw her knee bleeding, so he rushed to his wardrobe, brought out his first aid kit, and started treating the wound. After he was done dressing the wound, he moved closer to her and stared lovingly at her.

        “Why do you like getting yourself into trouble?”. he sighed tiredly and then his cell phone rang.” Did you get them?”.He asked on the phone talking to his men. “Good! Castrate those two old fools and dump their bodies in their houses”. He hung up and returned his gaze to Aurora.”They will never bother you again”. He felt her forehead and noticed she was running body temperature.

        He left to the kitchen to get a hand towel and a bowl of warm water, he came back, soaked the towel in the bowl, squeezed it, and placed it on her forehead.

        The next day, the two old men were castrated and placed in each of their houses with a note attached to their bodies saying

    Note: Our bad deeds have caught up with us.

       The news of them spread around the city and people mocked them.

        ••ALEXANDER’S MANSION••

       Aurora woke up and groaned quietly in pain as she sat upright on the bed staring strangely at the room.

         ” Where am I?”. She questioned confusedly as the memory of the last night flashed through her head.”Oh gosh”.

         “You are awake”. Alexander interrupted her from the doorstep as he entered with a bowl of hot soup.

        ” Um”.

        “Here, have this”. He sat next to her and gave her the soup.”You were beaten up by a fever last night, so, this soup will help”.

        ” You made this?”.

        “No, I ordered it, and was brought to me a while ago”.

        ” Thank you”. She takes a scoop of the soup.

        “You like it?”. He asked and she nodded. “Ok, I will leave you to enjoy your soup”. he stood up and walked away.

    I was cleaning the house when the security man came to me to inform me of someone wanting to see me, I wondered who it was, I left my cleaning and followed the security man, I was shocked to see Charles at the gate looking moody.

         “Charles”. I called surprisedly and rushed to hug him tight, but he didn’t hold back, so I pulled away from him.” What happened to you? Where have you been?”.

         “Why are you here Aurora? Is it true of what I am hearing?”. He asked.

         ” What do you mean?”. I asked confusedly.

         “You know exactly what I meant, what are you doing here? Is this the job your grandmother said you got?”.

        ” Is a long story, but I can explain”.

        “Explain what! You actually slept with an unknown man because of money “.

        ” What? How can you say such a thing?”. I asked surprised at his words.

        “Exactly what you heard, Did you sleep with him in other to pay your grandmother’s bills and your debt?”.

        ” Stop saying that Charles, you know me too well and you know I can never do such a thing”.

        “Really? So, why then does this unknown rich guy from nowhere have to clear your debt without asking for anything”.

        ” That’s why I am working here in his house”.

        “Are you crazy! You are a beautiful and naive woman, what if he forces himself on you, listen, you have to leave this job and come with me “.

        ” No, I can’t go with you, I work here now”. I declined and I could see his anger mixed with a surprised look on me.

        “Are you kidding me right now? Aurora I am your boyfriend and I demand you come with me, we will plan to give him back the money you owe him”.

        ” Am sorry Charles, I can’t go with you, my mind is made up”.

        “Aurora”. He called calmly and closed the gap between us staring into my eyes.” do you love me?”.

        “Yes, I do, with my whole heart”. I replied smiling.

         ” Then come home with me and we will pay him back the money”. He said sincerely.

      I sighed and I pushed away from him.

        “Am sorry Charles, I can’t, I am here now”.

       He breathes in and out trying to control his anger.

        ” You know what, you got to choose between me and this job”. He said furiously and I stared surprisedly at him.

         “What?”.

        ” Yes Aurora, is either you choose between me and this job and we call this relationship a quit”.

        “You can’t be serious Charles”.

        ” I am damn serious! You got thirty seconds to decide now”.

       “But Charles”. I became speechless and confused.

       He was counting and I don’t know what to do, I know we can’t afford to pay him back the money, so why is he making me do this? I don’t want to end my relationship with him, he is the only one that I ever loved.

         ” And done!”. He said ending the count. “I can’t believe you chose a main job over me “. he said angrily and walked away I tried calling him back but he refused to turn back.

        ” Charles, please listen to me! Please!”. I stare after him as I begin to sob.” Charles!”.

        ALEXANDER POV

    my driver drove into the compound, it was a busy day at the office, and all I needed this moment was a cool bath and a long sleep. I entered the living room and noticed everywhere was quiet, I couldn’t see her presence around, she usually rushed out of her room when she heard the sound of my car, I wondered where she could be. Suddenly, I heard a sound from the kitchen, I walked in the direction and I was surprised to see her on the kitchen floor drinking herself to death with tears flowing down her eyes. I felt a hit on my chest as I wondered what happened to her.

        “What are you doing? Why are you like this?”. I asked and she turned her face in my direction and let out a drunken smile.

        ” Oh, is Mr. Crazy”. She said and I rolled my eyes at her.

       “What happened to you?”.

        ” You happened to me”. She said as she managed to stand up and staggered on her feet, swaying a little.

        “How do you mean?”. I asked confusedly and she laughed.

        ” You ruined my life! You are the cause of my problem, it was because of you I had to lose everything”. She smirks and takes another sip from the drink she was holding.

        “You are wasted, give me that drink”. I tried to take the bottle from her but she refused.

       ” Don’t! You ruined my life! Because of you, I lost my relationship of four years”. she whined and I scoffed.

        “So, your boyfriend broke up with you and you are like this?”.

       ” Yes, and it’s all your fault, we were very close, close like this”. she said demonstrating with her fingers.”Very close to taking our relationship to the next level, but you came and ruined it all, you crazy weirdo!”.

     I rolled my eyes at her.”You should be happy you two broke up, he is not the right man for you”.

       “Easy for you to say, Charles is a good and lovable guy that any woman will wish to have, and I love him so much, but you came and ruined it all”. She said and stared hard at me.” You will pay for this Mr. Crazy, you don’t know anything about love that is why you ruined mine, I hate you, I hate you so much”. She yelled as she rushed to me hitting me on my chest.”I hate you! I hate you!”. 

    I sighed tiredly at her as she continued to hit me, just then she collapsed and I was quick enough to get hold of her before she fell to the ground.

        “You are really wasted”. I sighed as I took the bottle from her and carried her in a bridal style heading to her room.

      I got to her room and lay her gently on the bed and covered her with the blanket as I sat beside creasing her face while staring at her.

        ” I hate you Mr. crazy”. She murmured in her sleep.

    I signed. “I hope one day you see the real critter in the man you think you so much love”. I stood up and left for my room.

       The next morning, I was seated on the couch in her room sipping from my morning coffee while waiting for her to wake up. Suddenly, I heard her groan as she sat upright on the bed touching her forehead.

        ” Gosh! My headache “. She groans in pain.

    I interrupted her.” You are awake”.

       She gasped in shock immediately after she heard my voice.

        “F*ck! What are you doing in my room?”. she asked surprisedly.

       ” Don’t forget this is my house and I can stay wherever I choose to stay”.

       “Well is my room now and I demand some privacy”. She frowned and I scoffed.

          ” I don’t care, you got twenty minutes to get your a*s off that bed and fix me something to eat”. I said as I stood up to leave.” And one more thing, you look terrible when you are drunk, and remember I won’t conduct such stupid behavior next time “. I warned and left. 

     ******

       NARRATOR POV

       Some hours later, Charles was busy at the bar and at the same time thinking about Aurora, he was feeling guilty about what he said to her.

        “Am sorry Aurora, I didn’t mean for all this”. He sighed sadly and his cell phone rang, he saw the caller ID and picked it up.” Hello Mom”. He said and he was shocked to hear the voice coming from the other side of the phone.

       🧔”You are playing with me”.

       “Oh sh*t! Please don’t harm my mother”. he pleads.

      🧔” Get me the girl, or you will never see your mother again”. 

        “Plea…” The phone beeps which means he hung up.”Oh no”. 

       Charles became devastated as he rushed out of the bar, he boarded a cab and it drove him home, he rushed into his apartment and was surprised to see his mother seated on the sofa watching TV.

         “Charles?”. She called surprisedly and Charles rushed to hug her on the chair.” Are you okay?”. She wonders and he pulls away from her caressing her face.

        “Mom, are you okay? Are you hurt?”. He asked curiously and his mother stared confusedly at him.

        “Yes, am fine, why are you like this?”. 

        ” Was anyone here in the house?”.

        “Yes, two men came looking for you, I told them you are at work, and they said they were just passing by and they decided to say hello to you since they are your customers in your place of work”.

         ” Really?”.

        “Yes, but why will they be looking for you? They look rich and famous, and you don’t belong to their status”.

        ” Yes Mom, am not their friend, they always come to the bar to drink that’s how I know them, but whenever they come by, don’t let them into the house”.

         “Okay, if you say so”. 

        “I will rush back to work now”.

         ” Okay, be careful”.

        “I will Mom”. he kissed her cheek and left the apartment.

       he was standing outside the apartment when a message came through his phone.

    Message: your mom got lucky this time, but the next visit won’t be favorable, get the girl in the next three hours, and the address will be sent to you.

       he sighed tiredly and then a van drove in front of him, two guys came out dragged him into the van, and drove off.

    ******

       Aurora was taking a nap in her room when suddenly her cell phone rang, she woke up and saw the caller ID.

         ” Charles?”. She said surprisedly and picked up.”Hello Charles”. she said and Charles’s voice came weakly from the other side of the phone.

        “Aurora, help”. He said weakly.

        ” Where are you? What happened to you?”.

         “Please help me, am at the park”. he said.

        “OK, hang on, I will be right there”. She hung up quickly and rushed out of the house.

      The security man saw her running to the gate.

        👨✈️” Are you going out ma?”.

        “Yes, please open the gate”.

        👨✈️” But ma is getting late and I don’t think Mr.Alexander will be happy if he doesn’t see you at home”.

         “I know, I won’t take long”.

       👨✈️ “OK, be careful “

        he opened the gate for her and she rushed out. Aurora came to the junction, stopped a cab, and told the driver the direction she was going. Not too long after, she arrived at the park, she searched around for Charles calling his number, and then she caught sight of him seated on a wooden chair looking weak with bruises all over his body.

        “Charles!”. She rushed to him.” What happened to you?”.

         “Aurora”. he called weakly.

        ” Hold on, let me take you to the hospital”. She helps him up supporting him on her shoulder.”You can do it”.

        Suddenly, two guys came out from nowhere and one hit Charles on the head, he fell and lost consciousness. Aurora gasped and she was held from behind, she struggled and they covered her nose with a handkerchief, she struggled for a while and then lost consciousness.

      I was having a drink in my mini-bar with the thought of her on my mind. Today was the deadline she was to give me feedback about my broken vessel, but no sign of her. I clenched my fist angrily.

         “Does she take me for a fool? She is messing with the wrong person”. I gulped my drink and then one of my guards came to me. ” What is it?”.

         “There is a lady here to see you”. He said and I wondered who it was.

        I never bring any of my mistresses to my house, none of them know where I live, even when they try convincing me to bring them to my house, I refuse because none of them are worth it, they are just for fun and nothing more.

        ” How does she look?”.I asked sipping my drink and he described her and I suddenly reflected on who it was.”Hmm, she finally came back”. I smirk.”Let her in”. I said and he left.

      I continued with my drink when suddenly she walked in, I was surprised by her mood, her eyes were swollen and it was obvious that she was crying, I wondered why she was sad and my mind suddenly reflected on that good-for-nothing guy she called a boyfriend. At that moment I wanted to rush to her and embrace her in my arms to ease her pain, but I had to pretend that I didn’t care.

       “You”. I was interrupted by her sudden attitude as she fell to her knees sobbing.

        ” Please you have to help me, my grandmother is dying, the doctor said she needs urgent surgery or she will die, I don’t want to lose my grandmother, she is the only family I have left, please help me, I promise to sign the contract, I will work for you, please save my grandmother, I don’t mind working for you all my life, please!”. She begged sincerely.

       I suddenly felt her pain and I hate to see her like this.

        “What happened to your grandmother?”. I asked nonchalantly.

        ” She has a blood clot in her heart. Please help me”.

       “Sure, I will help you, but on the condition that you will never go back on your words”.

        ” Yes! I won’t, I promise, anything you want me to do, I will do it”. 

         “Ok, you said it”. I sip from my drink.

          ~~HOSPITAL~~

       Some hours later, I came to the hospital with her, I paid for her grandmother’s surgery and asked the doctor to commence the treatment, she was given a book to sign while her grandmother was taken to the emergency room. I sat down watching how she was pestering around the hall looking restless, at that moment I wanted to move to her and hug her in my arms and tell her everything would be alright, but I had to hold back my pride. Another hour passed and we were still waiting, soon the emergency room code turned green and the doctor came out sweating on his forehead.

        ” Doctor, how is my grandmother?”. She asked curiously.

        “Relax! She is fine now, the surgery was successful”. He said she sighed in relief as tears fell from her eyes.

        ” Thank you so much, doctor”. she said smiling.

       “Is nothing, after the nurses are done dressing her, you can go and see her”.

        ” Ok, thank you”.

       “You are welcome, please excuse me”. he walked in my direction and gave me a handshake before he left for his office.

      I could see the excitement in her eyes as she kept thanking God, and then she turned in my direction and gave me a slight bow.

        ” Thank you”. She said firmly.

       “Don’t thank me yet, you have two days to stay with your grandmother when you are done you will come to sign the contract”. I said and she nodded

    I stared at her for a while and left the hospital.

       AURORA POV

      I was with my grandmother in the hospital bed till she came out of consciousness, I couldn’t be happier to see her alive and healthy again, after two days she was discharged, and I brought her back home.

        ” Am so happy you are back to your feet again”. I said smiling at her.

        “All thanks to you, but I am curious”. She said.

        ” About what Granny?”.

        “Where did you get the money for my surgery and for the hospital bill?”.

         ” I”. I sputtered.

        “Aurora, Where did you get the money from?”.

        ” Granny, that doesn’t matter anymore, what matters is that you are alive”.

        “No, I need to know, we haven’t paid our debt and now there is another one involved, tell me where you get the money from?”.

        ” Actually, Granny is a long story, it was my boss”.

         “Your boss? Which of them? I know you have many people you are working with it”.

        ” This one is my new boss, he offered me a job while you were sick “. I lied.

        “Oh really? What type of job?”.She asked and I could see the excitement in her eyes.

       ” Cleaning Job, I will start work tomorrow, but I won’t be coming home regularly”.

        “Why?”.

       ” Because of the distance, I will be coming home during the weekend sometimes, but not to worry, I will hire someone to take care of you”.

         “You don’t have to do that, I will be fine”.

         ” No Granny, I can’t leave you all alone in this house”.

         “Okay, if you say so, I wish you the best in your new job”. 

        ” Thank you, Granny”. I hugged her on the chair as tears dropped from my eyes.

       An hour later, I was packing my stuff when suddenly I heard noises outside our building, I took a peek from the window to see it was the people I was owed debt, I wondered why they were here so early, it was as if they all gang up to track me at my house. I freaked out and rushed to my grandmother’s room to see her sleeping soundly, I didn’t want anything that would stress her, so I locked her window and door to prevent her from hearing the commotion outside. I came out and all of them attacked me pulling my clothes and calling me all sorts of names, I pleaded with them, but none could listen to me, suddenly, I felt a hand pull me out of their midst, I was stunned to see who it was.

         “Is there a problem here?”. He asked and his voice was like a roaring lion, I could see the fear in everyone’s eyes. his presence alone commands respect and authority.

         “Yes!”. Everyone agreed angrily.

         ” How much is the money?”. He asked as his hard gaze was fixed on them.

       I was embarrassed by what was going on as every one of them began to call the money I owed them, I was shocked by some of them adding times two of the money I owed, I couldn’t say anything, I kept quiet with my face bow to the ground.

        Some minutes every one of them left my house after he paid them all the money I owed them and he even added extra money for their troubles, there was so much excitement on everyone’s faces as they left thanking him.

         “I”. I tried to speak but I couldn’t find my voice because of the way he was staring at me.

         ” Why do you like getting yourself into trouble?”.He asked.

      I couldn’t raise my face to look at him because I was ashamed, and then my grandmother’s voice interrupted us.

        “Aurora is everything okay?”. She asked and I rushed to her quickly.

        ” Grandma, you are awake, but why did you come out, you should be resting”.

         “I was, but I heard voices that is why I came out”. She said and her gaze landed on the man standing behind us.” Who is he? Is he the boss you were talking about who hired you?”.She asked smiling as she walked slowly to meet him.”Thank you, my son, I am so happy for what you did for me and my grandchild”.She said sincerely.

    I could see the confused look on his face and he was trying to smile at my grandmother.

        “Grandma, please let’s go inside, you need to rest”. I said as I ushered her inside while  she kept turning her back to look at the man

      We got to her room and helped her lay down on the bed.

       ” Why didn’t you ask your boss to come in?”.

        “No granny, he was about to leave when you came out, just relax while I rushed to see him off”.

        ” Okay, say a very big thank you to him for me “.

       ” I will Granny, now try and sleep”. I covered her with the blanket and I went back outside to see he was already gone. I sighed tiredly. “Another debt to pay Aurora”. I went back inside to continue arranging my stuff.

         The next day, I was getting ready to go when I heard a knock on the door, I rushed to open the door to see a young elegant lady looking neat and simple.

       ” Good day miss”. She said smiling at me.

        “Good day, how may I help you?”. I asked.

       ” My name is Erica, I was sent here by Mr.Alexander to work for your Granny”. She said politely

      I was confused by the name, and I wondered who Alexander was, then her cell phone rang and she picked it up, she talked for a while and gave me the phone.

        “Hello?”. I said as I placed the phone in my ear and his voice came up and I suddenly recognized who he was.

       ” She will be in charge of taking care of your grandmother while you are working for me”. He said from the other end of the phone before I could say anything, he hung up.

        “Who the hell does he think he is”. I thought to myself angrily.

    I took the young lady in and showed her to my grandmother, and I explained everything she needed to know and the kind of food my grandmother needed to eat and to avoid, after all the explanation, my grandmother suddenly felt attracted to the girl and both started discussing. I kissed my grandmother goodbye as I rolled my luggage out of the house.

     I stood at the bus stop waiting for a cab and suddenly my mind reflected back to Charles, where could he be? His number was still not connecting, I also went to his mother’s place, I could see the sadness in her eyes not knowing where her son could be, I became restless, and I blamed myself for everything, if I hadn’t run to him for help, he would have gone missing.

       ” Please Charles, just be safe wherever you are, I miss you so much, everyone is worried, please come back safety”. I prayed silently, and a cab stopped in front of me, I entered and he drove away heading to the location I told him. Along the driveway, I couldn’t help but shed tears, my whole life would be in the hands of a monster, I began to picture the suffering I would be going through in his house, the more I kept thinking about it the more I shed a tear.

    Narrator Pov

         Aurora, came out of her room all dressed up to leave for her mini job, her grandmother was seated on the wooden chair taking a nap.

        “Grandma, am leaving, please look after yourself till I get back”. She said.

         ” Sure, try and be careful,” She said and blessed her.

         “Thank you, Grandma”. She kissed her forehead and rushed out to where her tricycle was leaning on the big tree in front of the building she hopped on it and rode it off.

        Aurora rode on the tricycle to deliver packages to people’s houses every weekend and the rest days were for going to people’s houses and offices for cleaning along with her teammate.

        She arrived at the first house and delivered her package to her and she was given a tip.

        ” That’s for you”. She said smiling at her.

         “Thank you, am grateful”. Aurora said thankfully.

         ” You are welcome”.

        “I will be on my way now”.

        “OK, have a blessed day”.

        ” And you too”. Aurora said as she hopped on her tricycle and rode off.

       Many hours later, it was getting late, Aurora was riding so fast on her tricycle, that she was overwhelmed with joy by the many tips she got from her customers today, although some were mean and flirtatious, but, she didn’t let that wear her down because she was used to it already. She continued driving on the road enjoying the cool breeze, suddenly, a car light flashed in her eyes, and she lost control of her ride and there was a clash.

         ••AURORA POV••

       I was lucky enough not to be hit by a car, whose driver in his or her right sense would drive carelessly on the road like that, I stood up and moved to where my tricycle was laying in front of the car.

         “Are you blind?”. 

    A deep muscular voice interrupted me, there was so much anger in the voice, that I raised my face to see an astonished gorgeous man In his expensive suit and it suited him so well and it doubled his handsomes. The man was tall, he had silver eyes as the light from the street reflected on him and I could take a proper view of him, his eyes were staring deadly at me, and he had a well-pointed nose and well-defined jaw that added his powerful look and his hair were brownish gold color.

         ” Cat got your tongue and please close your mouth”.

       He interrupted me again, I hurriedly went back to my senses. I didn’t even know I was drooling and salivating over his cuteness and his domineering aura seemed to scream command, I wondered who he could be that his presence could make a woman wet between her legs

        “Um”.I manage to say as I stand up facing him while holding my tricycle.

        ” You scratched my car, did you drink? or has the night suddenly clouded your eyes so that you can not see”. He said rudely.

         “That was rude!”. I blurted. “You were the one driving recklessly and you almost hit me, you should be apologizing and not shifting blame”.

        “I should apologize for wrecking my car, do you know who you are messing with?”. He retort 

       I scoffed.” As I care, you are annoying, Just because you are rich and own expensive cars doesn’t mean you can speak rudely to me, I didn’t wreck your car, you crush on me, and you should be apologizing”. I turn to leave but he grabs my hand quickly.”let go of me”. I struggled.

        “How dare you speak to me like that!”.  he yelled staring hard at me.

        ” Let go of me”. I struggled and stumbled on his feet, he groaned in pain and freed my hand.”Serve you right”. I quickly hopped on my tricycle and rode off before he could get through to me again.

       “I will get you on this”. he yelled

       That was the last word I heard from him before I disappeared from his sight. Some minutes later I was home, Grandma was worried about the late arrival.

        ” Am sorry granny, it was a busy day”.

         “But I was worried, I thought something bad had happened to you”. She said sadly.

        “Am sorry for making you worried, I promise it won’t happen again”. I apologize and embrace her on the chair she sitting on.”I will hurry and fix us dinner,”.

         ” I already prepared dinner”.

        “You did? But granny! Didn’t I tell you to stop stressing yourself about touching anything in this house, what if you fall sick again?”. 

        ” But I am fine now”.She said 

        “Please Grandma, don’t, I will do it myself, I don’t want you to stress yourself now that you are recovering”. I said and Grandma nodded her head in agreement.” Good, let me dish the food”.

        “Okay, how was work today?”

        “Great, granny, I got a lot of tips from my customers today”. I smile.

        “That’s good dear, keep it up”.

         ” Thank you, Granny”. I left for the kitchen to eat our dinner.

       ALEXANDER POV

     

      After my encounter with that girl last night, I couldn’t help but get angry for what she did to me, how dare she talk back at me, does she know who I am? I promise I will get her on this. I came to the club to ease my anger with some drinks and some girls, I was seated in the usual VIP section with ladies dancing seductively towards me, I kept drinking as the memory of that night kept ringing in my head, I couldn’t get a proper view of her figure but with her sweet angelic voice and her face, her eyes are almond-shaped and blue, with dark eyelashes, and it spark brighter like a morning star, she has a wide,  round face with a pointed chin gave a better epic of beauty, her nose is short and a little turned up at the end. She has thick, naturally curly hair that hangs a little bit below her shoulders. It’s dark brown with a few caramel-colored highlights. her heart-shaped pink lips were inviting. I can’t help but want to hear that voice again. I was still lost in thought when someone interrupted me.

        “Alexander the ladies man”. The voice teased and I raised my face to see who it was, my one and only annoying best friend, Richard.

       Richard and I have been best of friends since childhood, we do things together and we never hide secrets from each other, his father owns the biggest business ventures in the city, and is the first son among his three siblings, his father made him the CEO of his company, he had been doing perfectly okay with the company which made his family proud of him. But sometimes he annoys me, but what can I do, he has always been like that.

        ” What are you doing here Richard?”.I asked after I dismissed the ladies.

        “Come on bro, you are not the only one having fun ” He poured himself some drink.” So, what’s eating you up? You look moody tonight, did someone upset you?”.He asked.

         “I”. I pause my words as I notice a familiar face walk to where the barman was attending to some customer and she landed a kiss on his cheek as they kept smiling lovingly at each other.

         ” What are you staring at?”.Richard asked.

        I ignored him as my gaze was still on the girl I had an encounter with last night, I suddenly got a better view of her body. She was of average height with a perfectly curved body. She was wearing a bright red, knee-length summer dress, and blue canvas shoes, despite being in that outfit her beauty was out of the world, I could help but suddenly felt drawn to her, “f*ck! I need to get hold of that body. Suddenly, I felt a hit on my head.

         ” Ouch! What the hell man!”. I yelled at him and he scoffed.

         “Get your head straight up and stop drooling over a girl that’s not your type”. He said and I rolled my eyes at him angrily.

        It occurred to me that he had been observing me all this while.

        ” What are you talking about? You think I can’t get her?”.

        “Not every girl you can get to their pants, you see that girl you are drooling over, she is taken and that barman happens to be her boyfriend”. he said.

      I scoffed.” And so, with money, I can get her”. I boosted as I took a sip from my drink.

        “You think so?”. he chuckled.” listen, I was once attracted to her, but then I found out she and that guy had been dating for four years now and they love each other so much that nothing can separate them”.

        “I”. I paused my words as heard two advanced men from the other VIP section talking about the same girl 

        

       👴” That girl looks hot and tempting, I need her for a night, look at the way she swings her body”

        🧔”Indeed she is, I also like her, but since you got eyes on her first, we can both share her for a night”.

     👴”Hmm, that’s quite interesting, I will love that, but I think that Barman is her boyfriend”.

      🧔”And so, we can pay him a huge amount of money that will change his life and he will have no choice but to accept”. They laughed evilly.

    👴”Let’s take our chances then, I can’t wait to get my hands on that body”.

     🧔” Me too”.

      One of them sends one of their guards to send for the barman, not too long after, the barman comes over and they offer him a sit.

         👴”What’s your name, young man?”

       “Charles”. he replied.

    🧔” Nice name, can I ask you a question?”

         “Yes sir, is there a problem?”.

    👴” No, not at all, in short, we are going to make you a millionaire for being such a hard-working boy”.

        “Really?”. he asked excitedly. 

    🧔” Yes, we will give you a million dollars if only you agree to what we want “.

        ” Yes sir, I will do anything you want me to do, I have always wanted to live a rich life and to get my story changed, thank heavens, you two came”. 

    👴”Sure, but first of all the question we want to ask you is; who was that girl with you earlier?”.

        “Oh, that’s my girlfriend, she came to see me”.

    👴” Wow! really?”

        “Yes sir”

    🧔”You got great taste, she is so beautiful and we want her for a night “.

       Charles was shocked as he adjusted himself well on the sofa.

        👴” In exchange for the money”.

        “What? I can’t do that?”.

        👴” Why not Charles, we know she is your girlfriend but think about what a million dollars can do for you”.

       🧔”Exactly! She can also get access to the money without her knowing how”.

        “I can’t do that sir, she is my girlfriend and I don’t want to betray our love for each other”.

        🧔” Don’t be such a lover boy, I guess she doesn’t love you that much, a night will change your life, remember she can also benefit from it too”.

    👴”You are not doing anything bad, a beautiful girl like that needs a man who can take care of her needs, and I guess you are not the right man for that, we know she is only being with because she hasn’t come across a man that can sweep her off her feet, think about it”.

    🧔”Yes! Once she finds a rich handsome man, she will dump you and go after the rich one, ladies can’t be trusted”.

       “But how can I do it, she will never agree”.

       👴 ” You don’t need to tell her, we can give you something to add to her drink and she won’t remember what happened to her the next day”.

        Charles was deep in thought pondering on whether to agree to it or not.

    🧔”Think about the money Charles”

       “Promise me you won’t hurt her?”.

    👴🧔” We promise “.

        ” Okay, I will do it, but can I get half of the payment first?”.

         👴🧔”Sure”

        They brought a bundle of dollars and gave it to him, he was pleased as he placed the money in his pocket.

        👴”You will get the remaining one once the job is done, here are our cards and the drugs to add to her drink”.

         I sighed after listening to their evil conversation.

        “Well, serve her right, she is getting the taste of her own medicine for insulting me, Karma they say always has its way”. I smirk and notice Richard’s confused gaze on me.”What?”.

         “Alex! Are you going crazy? Why are you talking to yourself? Do you want me to take you to the hospital so they can run a brain scan on you”. He said and I stared hard at him, then he burst into laughter.

         ” Moron”. I take another sip from my drink as I catch sight of the guy talking to the girl.

        “How many women are you taking out tonight?”. Richard interrupted.

         ” Two, including your sister”.I frowned at him and he laughed.

         “You are so funny”. He continued laughing and I ignored him while sipping from my drink.

        

         AURORA POV

     I wondered why my boyfriend was taking so long attending to the people who sent for him, after a while he came back wearing a sweet smile on his face and he apologized for keeping me waiting, I tried asking him why the smiling faces, but he replied that it’s a surprise. An hour later, I was still waiting for him to round up from his work so we could both go home together, the bar was fewer with few people as he began to close up.

         ” I am sorry for keeping you waiting”. Charles apologized and I smiled faintly at him.

        “it’s okay babe, I totally understand”. I replied smiling at him.

        ” Sure, hold on let me get you something to drink to why away time”. He said and I smiled at him.

         “Okay, but let me use the restroom”. I stood up to leave.

        “Okay love, don’t take too long”.

         ” I won’t “.I left for the restroom, and after using the toilet for a while, I came out to dress my hair in front of the mirror, and then I went back to the bar to see Charles had already served my drink on the table.” Thanks babe”. I took a sip from the drink and he smiled at me and continued his work.

        I couldn’t help but find myself staring lovingly at him. Charles and I have known each other for three years now and we love each other so much, he has always been a helping hand to me and my grandmother and, he has always been the perfect man for me, I have prayed and wished things turn out for good for the both of us and to make our relationship stronger.

       After a while, I started yawning and feeling dizzy.

         “Love, are you okay?”. Charles asked and I nodded.

          ” I guess so”.

         “Are you sure?”.

         ” I am feeling sleepy”.

         “How about I take you to one of the rooms to take a nap before I round up everything here”.

          ” Okay, no problem”.

        He took me to one of the rooms and lay me down gently on the bed, not too long after I slept off.
