                   Isabella’s Pov

Tears kept streaming down my cheeks as i pleaded with Clara not to shoot me. 

Over my dead body will I Clara Martinez let you be with Eric, I rather shoot both of you…. Clara yelled angrily still pointing the gun at me. 

Please don’t shoot Clara! I will come back to you, we will get married but please don’t shoot Isay! Eric said as Clara laughed mischievously 

Goodbye Isabella! She screamed as she aimed the gun and I closed my eyes as she shot the gun at me. 

My eyes was still closed and I heard the loud gunshot but surprisingly I didn’t feel any pains so I quickly opened my eyes. 

To my greatest surprise, I saw Aunt Imelda on the ground and her arm was bleeding. 

Eric, Kim and a man I didn’t know rushed to Aunt Imelda who was groaning in pain. 

The man with Kim quickly held Clara and took the gun from her as she kept struggling. 

Clara! What are you doing? He asked eagerly 

Am sorry uncle but I need to finish that idiot! She screamed

Let me go! I need to finish this bitch!! She yelled angrily at me 

Aunt Imelda! What are you doing here? I asked in surprise as i hugged her. 

Isabella! You are my child! My daughter…. Aunt Imelda cried still in pain 

What are you saying aunt? Kim what is she saying? I said running to crying Kim 

Yes Isay! She’s the lost mother you’ve always wanted… Kim said as Clara’s jaw dropped and I looked around confused

Eric! Son…. The man called and that was when i realized that he’s sir Andrew Eric’s dad. 

Dad! Am really confused! What are you doing here? Eric asked in surprise 

Eric! Isabella is also my daughter, she’s my daughter with Imelda… We had a relationship in the past and she is the product but your grandma Morgana tried to kill her so instead the person she paid to have her killed just dumped her in a garbage bin…. Sir Andrew said 

Or should I call him daddy…. 

I was so stunned as Imelda walked to me and pecked me. 

I missed you Idrianna! She said as i hugged her tightly 

Mommy! I managed to say as Eric slumped on the ground in shock. 

Bravo! Clara clapped excitedly 

So Eric! You think you guys can be together but no way! She’s your step sister which means you belong to me… Clara laughed devilishly 

Eric was still in so much shock when suddenly a car drove in and we quickly turned to the car. 

I was still in Aunt Imelda’s arm. 

Shockingly, It was Lady Morgana, Ma’am Julie that’s Eric’s mom and Ma’am Daisy. 

                 Imelda’s Pov

I quickly held my daughter more close to me cos i don’t ever want to lose her. 

You think you can just hand me over to the police huh Imelda? No way! I will have you and that bastard Isabella killed before I go to jail… Lady Morgana said 

Mom how could you? You hurt my daughter Isabella…. Andrew said angrily 

It was for your own good son! Lady Morgana said 

Mom! Stop this whole thing, am sick and tired of this drama. I just want my Audrey… I don’t want trouble anymore! Daisy cried 

Does it hurt Daisy? That was how your devilish mother took my daughter away from me… I cried as Isabella clinged to me. 

No Daisy! I can’t just give up to the police without killing Imelda! Lady Morgana said as she brought out a pistol. 

After killing you Imelda I can now go to jail in peace… Lady Morgana said 

Please don’t hurt my mommy! Isabella cried 

I can’t believe am in love with Isabella and she’s my sister mom! Eric cried as he hugged Julie

Lady Morgana shot the gun into the air as everyone including Daisy, Julie and Andrew begged her to put the gun down. 

Suddenly we heard the sound of the police 🚨 and Lady Morgana gasped and fired the gun at me. 

But Julie rushed to stop her and she got shot straight into her chest. 

She fell on the ground as Morgana screamed in shock. 

mom! Eric shouted and went close to her. 

Eric! You can be together with Isabella! You are not a Sebastian! I had you in my womb before I got married to Andrew…. Am sorry Andrew for not telling you this but I really want my son’s happiness…. Julie said in the pool of blood as she started convulsing

Lady Morgana Sebastian! You are under arrest for the….. The police officers said but immediately Lady Morgana picked up her gun and shot it on her head. 

I rather kill myself than go to jail! She said as she shot herself twice in the head and she fell on the ground. 

The police quickly handcuffed crying clara and took with them Lady Morgana’s corpse. 

We hugged each other and forgave each other not minding if we were wronged.

I opened the door and little Audrey shrieked in excitement as she quickly rushed to her crying mom Daisy. 

mommy! Audrey cried as Daisy held her close to herself. 

Baby! I missed you! Daisy said in tears as she carried Audrey. 

Thank you so much Imelda! She said and we hugged each other. 

Just then, my phone rang aloud, it was Nicole. 

📱 Hello 📱 what? She regained consciousness… 📱 I hung up and jumped for joy. 

Amy just regained consciousness so I headed straight to the hospital. 

I didn’t waste time in sending my daughter Isabella abroad. 

A year later, Andrew and I got married and guess what? we are planning Isabella’s marriage with Eric. 

                Isabella’s Pov

Eric and I held hands as we walked into the slum house where I was living with my mother and my late father…. adopted ones! 

Behind us, Kim and her fiance Nicole walked in with us. 

And yeah! Kim and Nicole are in love with each other. 

We knocked on the door and my old looking mother Jane came out. 

Isabella! She called finding it hard to recognize me 

Yes mother! I said and hugged her as she went on her knees crying. 

Am really sorry Isabella! for all the wicked things I did to you…. she cried 

It’s nothing mother! Without that I wouldn’t have met my real mom! I said hugging her 

Isay! Nathan called from inside as we rushed into each other’s arms. 

We hugged each other and cried for joy… I really wished father was here.

I bought a new house for mother Jane and Nathan in Manila and sent Nathan abroad.

Eric and I got married while Nicole and my bestie Kim got married too, we lived happily ever after….

I sipped the wine angrily still on the phone. 

What nonsense! You mean you missed your target and shot the wrong person? My goodness! You are so gullible… I yelled as I smashed the glass of wine on ground 

Just find a way to clean this mess and listen up if the police ever catches you don’t you dare mention my name you moron! I screamed again as I hung up. 

Mom! Who did you say got shot? Daisy asked from behind as i became startled 

Never mind Daisy!  I lied

No mom! I know you are hiding something from me, so what is it you are hiding mom? Daisy asked anxiously 

It’s about Imelda! She’s alive and I think she’s the one who abducted Audrey… I said as Daisy gasped. 

What? Daisy asked in tears 

Mom we have to do something before Imelda hurts my daughter, you know how much wrong you did to her mom I don’t want to loose my daughter… Daisy cried 

Don’t worry Daisy! I will handle this…. I said as i hugged her tightly. 

                  Imelda’s Pov

I sat close to Amy’s hospital bed with Nick by my side.

You mean Isabella has been missing? I asked in shock 

Yes aunt best! The police have been searching all over for her, I just hope they find her so that Kim wouldn’t kill herself..Nick said 

That’s really bad! Don’t worry I will go to the hotel first thing tomorrow morning and see how the search has been going… I said as i felt terribly bad. 

I really love that girl and I don’t want her to get hurt… I thought 

                   Isabella’s Pov

I opened my weak eyes and looked around the room I was in. 

It wasn’t dark like the one Clara and her hoodlums kept me. 

The room was actually old and dusty so I sat on the bed. 

Where am I? I said audibly as the curtain opened and to my greatest surprise, I saw sir Eric. 

Sir Eric? What are you doing here? How did I get here? I fell over the cleft then what else? I kept asking 

Come on Isay! Don’t tell me you are such a talkative… Well I will tell you everything that happened. 

Well at first I didn’t know you were kidnapped, so when I heard the news of how Clara humiliated you, I phoned her and scolded her. So later I drove straight to her house but on my way, I saw her driving out of the house… It was almost 8pm so I wondered where she was going so I decided to trail her. We got to a place and she parked her car and started entering the jungle so I summoned courage and followed her. I saw her enter into a small house deep inside the jungle. Later, I saw you run out of the small house and I was shocked and not long enough, three hefty men chased after you and I followed you guys since I was hiding. Then you fell over the cleft and they thought you were dead so no-one was close to help you so they left you there and walked back to the small house, that was when i saved you and brought here…. He concluded and a smile escaped my lips. 

So where is this? I asked anxiously 

This place is really very far from Manila and this happens to be my log cabin here in San Nicolas whenever my family and i go for a vacation here but it’s been seven years since we last came to San Nicolas…. He said and I smiled 

When am I going back home? I asked with a teary voice 

Not anytime soon Isay! You see your enemy is just within so we have to make sure that Clara doesn’t see you ever again and that she believes you are dead so that we can get a strong evidence to send her to jail… He said and I nodded 

Thank you so much for saving my life sir Eric… I smiled lightly 

You are welcome but you can call me Eric… no formalities required… he said and I chuckled 

Here I bought some of the things you will need and I will always come time to time to check up on you so for now let them believe that you are dead… He said 

Thank you sir…. I mean Eric…. I said and he grinned

Eric and I strolled around the area, it was actually cool but I will really Miss Kim so much and I wish she was with me. 

I miss Nathan and even though mother was grumpy I still missed her too. 

The log cabin was cool and the stuffs Eric bought was very helpful. 

Well later that day, Sir Eric travelled back to Manila and that was when real loneliness surfaced even though I had everything I needed. 

                       Imelda’s Pov

The next morning, I drove straight to the hotel.

I walked to the apartment where Kim and Isabella are staying and met Kim crying.

She narrated every details of what happened that night Isabella got missing. 

Just then, she brought out some clothes to wash and suddenly a bead necklace fell from the clothes she was carrying. 

She quickly picked it up… 

Uhmm… Kim what is that? I asked as she handed the bead necklace to me. 

I looked at the bead necklace and I recognized it immediately. 

“This is my bead necklace it was given to me by Andrew the day I went to see his mother and when I was in labor I gave it to the mid wife and told her to wear it on my baby’s neck… I thought within myself 

Who has this necklace? I asked Kim anxiously 

It’s Isabella’s necklace ma’am! She said 

How did she get it? Where? I asked forcing back tears 

You see ma’am, it’s actually from her real parents I guess… Kim said 

Her real parents? What about Mrs Jane? Is she not her real mother? I asked 

She’s not ma’am! Isay was actually picked by Aunt Jane and her late husband and she said the necklace is the only thing she has to show that she has a real parents… Kim said as i stood in agape 

Ma’am Vanessa! Are you OK? Kim asked and I quickly nodded my head 

Can I have the necklace? I asked and she gave it to me as i walked away in tears. “

I’ve been looking for this for years now, how come it’s with Isabella? How did she come in possession of the necklace? I kept thinking as I drove in my car.

                       Clara’s Pov

I walked into the Sebastian’s mansion and saw Aunt Julie on her way out.

“Hi aunt! Good morning”…. I said as i pecked her and she smiled broadly. 

“Oh Clara, how are you baby?” Aunt Julie said 

“Am good aunt! I see you are living already, where’s Eric? “I asked 

“Well he’s actually traveling, he has a business trip to go to… That’s what he told his dad” Aunt Julie said 

“Business trip?” I asked 

“Yes! I really need to leave now but he’s still upstairs getting prepared” Aunt Julie said as she hugged me and walked away. 

I quickly rushed upstairs and with my usual manner, I barged into his room. He was actually packing his stuffs. 

Baby! I said as i wanted to kiss him but he turned away. 

Clara am really busy as you can see….. He said as he sank his fingers into his hair and quickly carried his traveling bag and walked out of the room.

I watched him enter his car and zoomed out of the compound. 

I know he’s still angry with me but he should have talked to me at least tell me where he’s going. 

But I have no worries cos Eric is mine and no bitch can steal him away from me now that that stupid girl Isabella whom crossed my path is finally dead… I thought as i smiled warmly. 

                      Isabella’s Pov

Ouch! I yelled as the oil I was using in frying plantain stinged me as i stirred the plantain. 

My goodness! I need to be quick before Sir Eric gets here… I said as i continued cooking. 

Honestly it’s really lonely being here in the log cabin but am just glad that Sir Eric is always here to kill the boredom with me.

Some minutes later, I was already done cooking when I heard the car horn. 

I jumped for joy as Sir Eric entered. 

Oh my goodness! This guy is driving me nuts… His attire was killing and he looked extremely handsome and he got me drooling. 

He was carrying a small bag.

Hi sir! I said smartly smiling but inside of me I was dying for him. 

Isay! He said as he hugged me and I became very surprised. 

Did he just hug me? I asked myself as we disengaged the hug immediately. 

I will be staying here with you for three weeks… He said and I smiled.

Come on sir! I made breakfast you can join me… I said as i quickly snatched the bag from him and kept it on the table as i quickly dragged him along with me. 

I made the dish myself try it… I said as he laughed and tasted it. 

I looked at him with a “how-do-you-see-it” look. 

Wow! Delicious… He said and I chuckled as we continued eating and I was trying so hard to avoid eye contact with him. 

Let me get a jug of water… I said as i turned to leave and suddenly the sprinkled water on the ground slipped me and I almost fell but he caught me and our eyes meet with each others as our lips drew closer to each other. 

His nose touched my nose as our lips were already close to each others, my heart skipped… I wanted to stop this but I just don’t want to cos it seems I really want this kiss. 

My heart stopped beating as we locked lips together….
