    “Can’t you at least tell me what’s going on? You’ve been moody ever since the seer called you in to talk to you privately,what exactly did she told you?” Genny asked on their way back to the institute. 
    Thane sighed and just kept on driving without saying a word,his mind was scattered,he was confused as well. 
    He took his phone and dialed master Nyx’s number. 
    “Your highness….”
    “The festival won’t happen tonight,cancel it” He muttered and hung up right away. 
    “Babe please you’re scaring me, what happened? Why did you cancel the festival?” Genny asked and Thane stopped the car. 
    He turned to her and she stared at him curiously. 
    “You know I love you right?” He asked. 
    “I know,and I love you too” Genny said. 
    “You don’t have to bother yourself on what’s going on right now,I will take care of everything and make sure we end up together no matter what,I am yours and you’re mine,okay?” He assured her. 
    Even though Genny nodded,it only made her more scared. Why is he talking about no matter what they belongs to each other? Something is definitely going on. 
    Instead of going back to the institute,Thane all the way to raven pack and they got to the palace.
    🗣 Welcome your highness!
    The guards greeted them respectfully,Thane grabbed Genny’s hand and held her firmly as they walked in. 
    They met the alpha and Luna on their way,they were also coming with guards behind them. 
    “Thane!” Luna Liyana called in surprise. 
    “Oh my dear Genny” She smiled. 
    “Good afternoon mother” Genny let go of Thane’s hand and moved closer to greet her properly,then the alpha as well. 
    “What a surprise visit” Alpha Raven said. 
    “Get the maid to prepare food for Genny,go on” Luna Liyana said. 
    “No need,we are not here for that” Thane spoke up and Genny looked at him. 
    “Is there a problem? You don’t seem fine son” Alpha Raven said. 
    “I’m not close to fine at all father,we need to talk” he replied. 
    Even Genny was confused but soon the alpha led the way to the throne room and soon the four of them are settled on different seats. 
    Genny close beside Thane,waiting for him to spill out whatever is in his mind. 
    “Son,go on” Alpha Raven said. 
    “We are just coming from the seer father” Thane said and went ahead to tell them exactly what the seer said about Genny’s parents and about the heir. 
    Genny gasped with wide eyes which came with tears instantly,they fell freely down her cheeks. 
    The alpha and his Luna were quiet. 
    “I want to believe you had no idea who Genny was,father,you got no sign at all? The moment you saw her….”
    “Even if I did,would you have accepted? She’s your mate” Alpha Raven said. 
    “Yes she is my mate and that is why I came here directly,because no matter what there must be a solution,right?” Thane asked. 
    Genny wiped her tears. 
    The alpha called for a guard and he came in. 
    “Go to Ravenna and tell her I summon her right away” He ordered. 
    “Yes alpha” The guard bowed and left. 
    “In the end it’s Ravenna” Thane said. 
    “You should calm down son,everything will be fine” Luna Liyana said. 
    “But her parents,they aren’t who I’m thinking right?” Alpha Raven spoke up. 
    Thane held Genny’s hand tightly. 
    “Even if they are…she knows nothing about it. She doesn’t even know how her parents looks like,so why would she suffer for what she knows nothing about?” Thane asked. 
    “It’s not about that Thane,it won’t just affect her,but you as well. You wouldn’t want her own curse for reflect with….”
    “Father” Thane interrupted with a deep glare. 
    Genny took her lips in and swallowed hard. 
    *you can’t break down in front of them,,don’t do it. Our mate Is going to take care of everything* Tonith said.
    *I know,but it hurts. If I can’t give him a heir,what will happen to us?* Genny asked. 
    *Let’s trust our mate like he said,so stop crying* Tonith replied. 
    They waited for about thirty minutes and finally Ravenna,the witch arrived. 
    She entered the throne room in her usual red flowing dress,red lipstick and her long hair following her. 
    “It’s really unexpected and such an honor for the alpha to finally summon me after a long time” she smiled and Bowed. 
    “I need your help” Thane spoke up. 
    “Oh,it’s the alpha prince” Ravenna smiled and turned,then glanced at Genny. 
    “I know why I was called” she said,maintaining eye contacts with Genny. 
    “Our future Luna is quite an interesting creature” she smiled. 
    “What do you mean?” Luna Liyana asked. 
    “Nothing much,she’s almost like a witch like me. Just that she haven’t discovered that yet,in a word,the moon goddess got your son an amazing mate” Ravenna said and the alpha nodded. 
    “You said you know why you’re here” The alpha spoke up. 
    “That’s right,,her family” Ravenna looked at Genny again,who was already nervous.
    “The blood line of Gamma Alfreto” Ravenna said. 
    “What?!!” Both the alpha and Luna sprang up immediately,leaving both Thane and Genevieve in confusion. 
    (Note: A Gemma is the third-highest ranking Member in a wolf pack,after the Alpha and his Beta)
    “Impossible!” The alpha growled and one chair from afar was thrown across the room,going straight toward Genny. 
    Thane covered Genny up and the chair slammed against his back before breaking into pieces. 
    “Son! Are you okay?” Luna screamed and tried running to him.
    “Don’t come close!” Thane yelled and turned to them with red eyes. 
    He then faced Ravenna who just stood there calmly. 
    “Her father was the Gamma? What was his sin and where is he now?” He threw the questions all at once. 
    “He betrayed the pack! I once told you his story son,that was exactly what led to the curse you just broke!” Alpha Raven said. 
    Thane held onto Genny,ignoring his father’s rant. 
    “Where is he?” 
    “The destructive dungeon…in the institute” Ravenna smiled. 
    “Dungeon…does that mean,they are not dead?” Genny asked. 
    “That’s right,but they are as good as dead” Ravenna replied. 
    “How can my own curse be broken?” Genny asked and everyone glanced at her. 
    “Yours? You don’t want your parents out?” Ravenna asked. 
    “You said they betrayed the pack,,,,the Alpha himself punished them,who am I to go against him?” Genny asked. 
    Alpha Raven was shocked. 
    “To break your curse,the dungeon must be opened and some rituals would be done,the last thing,I will tell you when the dungeon is opened” Ravenna said and Thane looked at her suspiciously. 
    “When will the dungeon be opened?” He asked. 
    “There’s a book and a key,,then a spell will be needed,the chants might take three days,you can prepare before then. After three days,we will go to the institute,it might be dangerous but it’s under control,as long as I am there” Ravenna said. 
    “We are going to wait” Thane said.
    “We will take our leave now” He turned to his parents. 
    They bowed and walked out of the throne room. 
    Nobody said a word until they entered the car again. 
    “Aren’t you mad at me?” Genny asked. 
    “Mad at you for what exactly? Nothing happening is your fault,and it’s my responsibility to protect you no matter what” Thane said. 
    Genny shifted closer and locked their lips immediately. 
    Thane kissed her deeply before breaking it,then he started the car and drove off. 
    *
    8PM, RAVEN INSTITUTE*
    Genevieve and Odessa were walking side by side in the woods after a good run in their wolves form. 
    “So the dungeon will be opened in three days time?” Odessa asked. 
    “Yea,I can’t wait” Genny sighed. 
    “I wonder how your foster parents found you,do you think your parents might have dropped you somewhere safe so that someone would find you?” Odessa asked. 
    “I have no idea,you might be right” Genevieve sighed out. 
    “Anyways,I’m sure everything will be okay,my brother loves you so he would do anything for you” Odessa smiled. 
    Genny suddenly remembered what Ravenna said,about her being a witch but still weak,she was still thinking when suddenly they saw a serpent walking over to them. 
    Immediately Genny made a twist with her hand and the snake dried up 
    Odessa gasped. 
    “What was that?!” She asked. 
    “I guess she was right” Genny mumbled. 
    “Right about what?” 
    “Being a witch and a wolf” Genny looked at her. 
    “Whoa,that was insane just now” Odessa laughed. 
    *
    SAGE AND BEORN’S ROOM*
    Beorn was already on the bed,but trying not to sleep because Sage wasn’t in yet. 
    Soon, the door opened and Sage came in,he locked the door right away and shoved his jacket off himself. 
    “Where are you coming from?” Beorn asked. 
    “Missed me?” Sage smiled.
    “Yeah” Beorn muttered. 
    Sage joined him on the bed and kissed him right away,he sucked on his lower lip and smiled into the kiss,he got on top to continue but Beorn broke the kiss. 
    “Where are you?” He asked. 
    “Nowhere serious,I was just around” Sage replied. 
    “Just around? And you missed dinner? Are you hiding something?” Beorn raised his brows. 
    “Don’t exaggerate,I just got some breeze alone,I wasn’t with anyone,you can smell the scents on my body” he said. 
    Beorn cupped his cheeks and kissed him shortly. 
    “I wish I can do this all day” Sage muttered and fell beside him,hugging Beorn to himself. 
    “Do what?” Beorn asked. 
    “Cuddling” he whispered,inhaling Beorn’s scent,from his hair down. 
    He got to his lips and bite his own lips. 
    “You’re so cute” He mumbled. 
    “How cute?” Beorn asked. 
    “Words can’t explain” Sage said and Beorn blushed. 
    “Stop it,I’m going to sleep. I’ve been waiting for you like an idiot” He said. 
    “You can sleep,I will just stare at you,that’s enough for me” Sage muttered. 
    “Don’t be naughty” Beorn chuckled. 
    There was silence until Beorn broke it. 
    “Do you wish I was a girl?” He asked and Sage looked at her. 
    “Right now?” Sage asked and Beorn nodded. 
    “No,If you were a girl,we wouldn’t have been so close,and I won’t feel this way either” Sage said. 
    “Sweet tongue of yours” Beorn chuckled. 
    “But I’m serious,,I really like you alot okay? I want my Beorn,just this way,nothing more or less,I love your face like this” Sage muttered and Beorn smiled. 
    “Goodnight” He said. 
    “Goodnight” Sage kissed his cheek.

    THREE DAYS LATER*
    The atmosphere at the institute was tense and quiet. An eerie silence had fallen over the place, with most students instructed to stay in their dorms,the dungeon is getting opened today and the ritual will take place as well. 
    Suddenly, Alpha Luna, Ravenna, and Beta Balto appeared together, their footsteps echoing through the corridors. They were followed by Thane, Orion, Genevieve, and Odessa close, Other top students, like Sage, Beorn, Kymani, Indigo, and those in Rank A, joined as well. 
    According to Ravenna,some evil spirits in tbe dungeon might want to escape as well,so they are to prevent them. 
    Finally, they arrived at a door hidden under the stairs. It was the same door that Genevieve and Thane had once tried to open but failed. 
    Ravenna stopped in front of the door, her eyes fixed on Thane. The air was thick with anticipation, as if the very fate of the institute hung in the balance.
    Ravenna turned to face Thane, her expression serious and solemn,it was totally silent as everyone waited curiously. 
    “The last thing I talked about that I would tell you about” She said. 
    “What is that?” Thane asked. 
    “When the Alfredto’s are out,the curse will be lifted and tbe rituals will be done,after that there’s something you must do you highness” She said. 
    “What is it?”
    “They have to die in your hands,,,you will kill your mate’s parents,by yourself” She said and everyone gasped.

    Genny literally froze. Thane has another mate? Aside her. 
    “No….no….” She shook her head,,unable to control the hot tears falling down her cheeks. 
    She was still standing there with the note in her hands when Thane came in,he was cleaning off his wet hair with a towel but paused when he saw Genny in tears and what she was holding. 
    “Genny” He called and she raised her head to look at him. 
    “What is….this?” She asked,showing him the letter. 
    Thane dropped his towel and walked over to her, she stepped back immediately and he stopped walking as well. 
    “Tell me this is a joke, tell me it’s not going to happen. Another mate for you? I don’t want that,I can’t share you with anyone, I don’t want that,I don’t” She said in tears. 
    Thane moved closer to her and pulled her into a hug. 
    “Stop crying, this isn’t even concluded yet” He said. 
    “What do you mean by not concluded? You saw what was written inside it,you wanted to keep it away from me right?” Genny broke the hug and Thane sighed. 
    “I wasn’t planning to tell you until I visit the seer by myself,I was thinking something could be done to prevent or somehow…” Thane said.
    Genny shook her head. 
    “There should be a way,I can’t imagine,I don’t want to imagine another girl around you” 
    “I don’t want that either Genny, do you trust me?” He asked. 
    “I want to trust you..I trust you,I trust Thorne,but this is not about Thorne right now” Genny muttered and Thane sighed. 
    “I know but,I know I can try my best to control myself if anything like that finally happens. Can you just stop thinking about it? I’m going to visit the seer in her hometown tomorrow and talk to her directly” Thane said and Genny sat down on the bed. 
    “I’ve missed you so much,I really want to do a lot with you tonight,but hearing this right now……”
    “Genny please, I just told you I don’t want anyone else but you. Why can’t you just forget about this and let’s just think positively? Please” He sat down beside him. 
    “I will believe you….” Genny wipe her tears. 
    Thane grabbed her hand and pulled her to sit on his laps instead. 
    “I love you Genny,you know that right?” He asked and Genny nodded. 
    “I love you more” She wrapped her hands around his neck and hugged him tightly. 
    “I missed you so much, I love you” She said again and pecked Thane’s cheek. 
    “You really think that’s what I want right now?” Thane asked and her cheeks turned red. 
    “Thane wait let me….” Thane pushed her on the bed before she could finish, he got on top of her and connected their lips at once.

    Zenith was waiting outside the dorm for Lila to show up, he was standing there nervously but looking handsome in his outfit. 
    Just then,he heard some footsteps behind him and he turned at once,his mouth opened as soon as he saw Luna(thinking It’s Lila) she was putting on a long full dress,the free skirt starts from her tiny waist down to her legs. Her hair was styled so prettily,she has never dressed up like this,never. 
    “Can we go now?” Luna asked when Zenith just stood there staring at her. 
    “Oh…of…of course we should” He stuttered and Luna shook her head. 
    ‘He must really be in love with Lila, she’s so silly. I hope he doesn’t find out it’s not her’ Lila prayed inwardly. 
    “Can I…hold your hand?” Zenith asked and Luna frowned slightly. 
    “Why? Aren’t we walking to the car? I can walk on my own please” She said. 
    “Oh…I’m sorry” Zenith sighed out and there was silence until Zenith unlocked his car, red in color with the key in his hand. He opened the front door for her. 
    “Thanks” Luna smiled but immediately she remembered she need to give him some attitude as Lila instructed,the smile faded away. 
    Zenith smiled before closing the door, then he entered the driver’s side as well and drove out of the institute. 
    “Where are we going to?” Luna asked after few minutes of silence. 
    “I was just about asking you….aside eating something good…what else would you wanna do?” Zenith asked and Luna thought for a while. 
    “I love food, so let’s eat first” she said and Zenith chuckled. 
    “Don’t laugh at me” Luna scoffed. 
    “I don’t mean it that way…what food do you enjoy anyway?” Zenith asked. 
    “Chicken, Ice cream, chocolate, and bread,soft ones” Luna elaborate and Zenith laughed. 
    “Was the soft* necessary?” He asked. 
    “Of course…what about you?” Luna smiled. 
    “I just eat whatever,I don’t have favorites” He replied. 
    “So will you buy me ice cream after we eat?” Luna pouted. 
    “I can buy you a lot to bring back as well” Zenith promised and she clapped happily like a child. 
    Zenith stared at her and bite his lips,,he could feel butterflies in his tummy,,honestly he wouldn’t want tonight to end so soon.

    ORION’S ROOM*
    Orion sighed out loudly as he opened the door to his room and entered,he closed the door and immediately shoved his shirt off his body. 
    “Finally you’re here” Odessa spoke up from the bed and Orion flinched before facing her side. 
    “When did you get here?” He asked. 
    “I’ve been waiting for an hour,why didn’t you lock your door, waiting for a girl?” Odessa frowned. 
    “What girl are you talking about?” Orion scoffed and made to walk away. 
    Odessa rushed down from the bed and jumped on his back. 
    “Do you even know how much I miss you? Are you trying to play hard to get? You don’t miss me at all?” She asked. 
    “I miss you Odessa,now can you come down at least? I need to take my bath,I don’t want to do anything with you looking all sweaty, I went for the evening exercise” Orion said. 
    “So what are you planning to do with me when you are done?” Odessa asked naughtily. 
    “It’s not whatever you’re thinking about” He replied. 
    “Then forget about me coming down,I don’t mind your sweaty body,you still smell great anyway” Odessa clung unto him more tighter. 
    “Fine…let’s do whatever you want when I’m done” Orion said and Odessa smiled,she jumped down again and Orion left. 
    Minutes later, Orion returned back to the bedroom, he was already putting on another clothes, Odessa smiled from the bed and took his pictures. 
    “Stop it” Orion muttered. 
    “What, why are you cold toward me?” She asked and got down from the bed. 
    “I just don’t feel too good tonight…..”
    “Liar you’re trying to avoid me” Odessa cut in. 
    “I’m trying to avoid losing control of my composure and do what’s on my mind with you” Orion snapped and Odessa batted her lashes. 
    “But you’re making everything more harder for me,so can’t we just give each other some space…..”
    “I don’t want to.. I don’t care if you do what ever is on your mind,do it….I want it as well” Odessa said. 
    “So you don’t mind having sex with me? Even when you’re not my mate?” Orion asked and Odessa froze. 
    “You…..you…..want to…..”
    “Now you know what’s on my mind,can we stop all these then?” Orion asked. 
    Odessa moved closer and cupped his cheeks before slamming her lips on his own but Orion broke the kiss instantly.
    “I just fucking said I don’t wanna do anything that would trigger me right now!!” He yelled at her and pushed her off. 
    “So what are you going to do now?! You’re in heat right? That’s why you’re in such a bad mood and you’re being harsh toward me” Odessa said. 
    “So what? You want me to fuck you?” Orion snapped. 
    “I don’t mind….”
    “Don’t act this way Odessa please!” Orion groaned. 
    “So what are you going to do about it?”
    “I will find someone who’s not a wolf……..” Orion muttered. 
    “No…I won’t let you do that….you can’t” She immediately grabbed his shirt and Orion gulped. 
    “We promised to find a way together right? I told you what the seer said,,I might really be your mate….”
    “Until then” Orion cut in. 
    “You’re going to have sex with another girl?! What about me?!” Odessa screamed out and tears dropped from her eyes. 
    “You seriously think Thane would spare me if he find out I about it later?” Orion asked. 
    “Let’s not talk about my brother…..”
    “Is still don’t want to do anything with you” Orion snapped and Odessa swallowed,still tearing up. 
    “So you’re still going to look for a girl….”
    “I changed my mind” Orion mumbled and went to get a drink from the fridge. 
    “I will be fine soon” He mumbled. 
    “I can at least help…can’t we just make out without….”
    “That’s a trigger….” Orion shook his head and Odessa took her lips in. 
    “Can I stay with you for tonight?” 
    “No,,,,I won’t be fine if I keep on seeing you Odessa…..let’s meet tomorrow” Orion said. 
    Odessa nodded and kissed his cheek before walking out of the room. 
    “Fuck” Orion cursed and dropped the bottle in his hand,he fells so damn hot inside,,how he was able to control the feeling with Odessa inside was just a miracle. 
    As he find his way to the bed,his body was shaking,so restless and his dick was beginning to get so hard. 
    *I’m not sure I can handle this….it hurts* Lykan said.

    Beorn was holding a book,reading under the moonlight and cold night,his stomach made a loud noise and he gasped when he remembered he missed dinner. 
    “What the fuck” He groaned and covered his face. 
    “Hey” He heard someone from the back and turned to see Sage. 
    “Come with me” Sage grabbed his hand. .
    “Where are we going?” Beorn asked and followed him anyway. 
    “Surprise” Sage smiled. 
    “What…am I your girlfriend?” Beorn mumbled and Sage chuckled. 
    “You can be” 
    “I’m a boy….boyfriend is a better word” Beorn said and Sage laughed. 
    “You’re taking it serious,I was joking” Sage said. 
    They finally got to their door. 
    “What’s the surprise? It’s not our first time here” Beorn scoffed. 
    “Don’t be too forward” Sage groaned and opened the door for him to enter,he stopped walking immediately he saw the way Sage turned the room into something more pretty,at the center was the table with different meals decorated in the plates,the aroma filled the air. 
    Beorn turned back to face Sage. 
    “What is this all about?” He asked. 
    “I’m tired of eating with everyone…I want to eat just with you alone” Sage replied and pushed him forward. 
    “Sit down…I’m sure you’re starving” Sage said. 
    “That’s all you have to say? Just because you want to eat with me alone?” Beorn asked and Sage nodded. 
    They both settled down to eat. 
    “So….what are we?” Beorn suddenly asked and Sage choked. 
    “What….what do you mean?” He stuttered. 
    “You like me right?” Beorn asked. 
    “Beorn..how about you eat and stop talking?” Sage smiled. 
    “Honestly I’ve thought about it….I don’t really care anymore,I like you a lot” Beorn said and Sage sighed. 
    “How can you sound so confident when I can’t even find my tongue to say those words? Stop talking,,my heart is beating fast already” Sage said. 
    Beorn sighed and continue eating without saying a word more.

    FIVE DAYS LATER*
    “So…you mean the sweet said there’s nothing to do to prevent it?” Odessa asked as she walked with The. 
    “Yeah” Thane sighed out. 
    “Have you told Genny?” 
    “How do you expect me to say that out? You know how she is…I can’t” Thane shook his head. 
    “You don’t have a choice anyway,you should tell her and you two can find a solution together” Odessa said and Thane groaned. 
    “I can’t even think well….Thorne isn’t saying anything to me,I’m confused as heck” He said. 
    Odessa sighed and hugged him. 
    “You will be fine” She told him and he hugged her more tightly. 
    “Oh…I need to go. I have a new student I’m training,she will be waiting already” Odessa pecked him before running off. 
    Thane climbed down the stairs leading out from the dorm house,he couldn’t even reply the students greeting him,he was so out of space until suddenly someone bumped into him. 
    “I’m sorry” A tiny voice said and Thane looked down to see the girl staring back at him with a smile. 
    “Hi” She waved but Thane couldn’t talk,,not when his heart was busy misbehaving without his permission,what is she??
    “I’m new here…my name is Thelma” She smiled more brightly. 
    *She’s….Mine* Thane’s demon let out a growl in his head for the first time.

    She was still standing there with the note in her hands when Thane came in,he was cleaning off his wet hair with a towel but paused when he saw Genny in tears and what she was holding. 
    “Genny” He called and she raised her head to look at him. 
    “What is….this?” She asked,showing him the letter. 
    Thane dropped his towel and walked over to her, she stepped back immediately and he stopped walking as well. 
    “Tell me this is a joke, tell me it’s not going to happen. Another mate for you? I don’t want that,I can’t share you with anyone, I don’t want that,I don’t” She said in tears. 
    Thane moved closer to her and pulled her into a hug. 
    “Stop crying, this isn’t even concluded yet” He said. 
    “What do you mean by not concluded? You saw what was written inside it,you wanted to keep it away from me right?” Genny broke the hug and Thane sighed. 
    “I wasn’t planning to tell you until I visit the seer by myself,I was thinking something could be done to prevent or somehow…” Thane said.
    Genny shook her head. 
    “There should be a way,I can’t imagine,I don’t want to imagine another girl around you” 
    “I don’t want that either Genny, do you trust me?” He asked. 
    “I want to trust you..I trust you,I trust Thorne,but this is not about Thorne right now” Genny muttered and Thane sighed. 
    “I know but,I know I can try my best to control myself if anything like that finally happens. Can you just stop thinking about it? I’m going to visit the seer in her hometown tomorrow and talk to her directly” Thane said and Genny sat down on the bed. 
    “I’ve missed you so much,I really want to do a lot with you tonight,but hearing this right now……”
    “Genny please, I just told you I don’t want anyone else but you. Why can’t you just forget about this and let’s just think positively? Please” He sat down beside him. 
    “I will believe you….” Genny wipe her tears. 
    Thane grabbed her hand and pulled her to sit on his laps instead. 
    “I love you Genny,you know that right?” He asked and Genny nodded. 
    “I love you more” She wrapped her hands around his neck and hugged him tightly. 
    “I missed you so much, I love you” She said again and pecked Thane’s cheek. 
    “You really think that’s what I want right now?” Thane asked and her cheeks turned red. 
    “Thane wait let me….” Thane pushed her on the bed before she could finish, he got on top of her and connected their lips at once.

    Zenith was waiting outside the dorm for Lila to show up, he was standing there nervously but looking handsome in his outfit. 
    Just then,he heard some footsteps behind him and he turned at once,his mouth opened as soon as he saw Luna(thinking It’s Lila) she was putting on a long full dress,the free skirt starts from her tiny waist down to her legs. Her hair was styled so prettily,she has never dressed up like this,never. 
    “Can we go now?” Luna asked when Zenith just stood there staring at her. 
    “Oh…of…of course we should” He stuttered and Luna shook her head. 
    ‘He must really be in love with Lila, she’s so silly. I hope he doesn’t find out it’s not her’ Lila prayed inwardly. 
    “Can I…hold your hand?” Zenith asked and Luna frowned slightly. 
    “Why? Aren’t we walking to the car? I can walk on my own please” She said. 
    “Oh…I’m sorry” Zenith sighed out and there was silence until Zenith unlocked his car, red in color with the key in his hand. He opened the front door for her. 
    “Thanks” Luna smiled but immediately she remembered she need to give him some attitude as Lila instructed,the smile faded away. 
    Zenith smiled before closing the door, then he entered the driver’s side as well and drove out of the institute. 
    “Where are we going to?” Luna asked after few minutes of silence. 
    “I was just about asking you….aside eating something good…what else would you wanna do?” Zenith asked and Luna thought for a while. 
    “I love food, so let’s eat first” she said and Zenith chuckled. 
    “Don’t laugh at me” Luna scoffed. 
    “I don’t mean it that way…what food do you enjoy anyway?” Zenith asked. 
    “Chicken, Ice cream, chocolate, and bread,soft ones” Luna elaborate and Zenith laughed. 
    “Was the soft* necessary?” He asked. 
    “Of course…what about you?” Luna smiled. 
    “I just eat whatever,I don’t have favorites” He replied. 
    “So will you buy me ice cream after we eat?” Luna pouted. 
    “I can buy you a lot to bring back as well” Zenith promised and she clapped happily like a child. 
    Zenith stared at her and bite his lips,,he could feel butterflies in his tummy,,honestly he wouldn’t want tonight to end so soon.

    ORION’S ROOM*
    Orion sighed out loudly as he opened the door to his room and entered,he closed the door and immediately shoved his shirt off his body. 
    “Finally you’re here” Odessa spoke up from the bed and Orion flinched before facing her side. 
    “When did you get here?” He asked. 
    “I’ve been waiting for an hour,why didn’t you lock your door, waiting for a girl?” Odessa frowned. 
    “What girl are you talking about?” Orion scoffed and made to walk away. 
    Odessa rushed down from the bed and jumped on his back. 
    “Do you even know how much I miss you? Are you trying to play hard to get? You don’t miss me at all?” She asked. 
    “I miss you Odessa,now can you come down at least? I need to take my bath,I don’t want to do anything with you looking all sweaty, I went for the evening exercise” Orion said. 
    “So what are you planning to do with me when you are done?” Odessa asked naughtily. 
    “It’s not whatever you’re thinking about” He replied. 
    “Then forget about me coming down,I don’t mind your sweaty body,you still smell great anyway” Odessa clung unto him more tighter. 
    “Fine…let’s do whatever you want when I’m done” Orion said and Odessa smiled,she jumped down again and Orion left. 
    Minutes later, Orion returned back to the bedroom, he was already putting on another clothes, Odessa smiled from the bed and took his pictures. 
    “Stop it” Orion muttered. 
    “What, why are you cold toward me?” She asked and got down from the bed. 
    “I just don’t feel too good tonight…..”
    “Liar you’re trying to avoid me” Odessa cut in. 
    “I’m trying to avoid losing control of my composure and do what’s on my mind with you” Orion snapped and Odessa batted her lashes. 
    “But you’re making everything more harder for me,so can’t we just give each other some space…..”
    “I don’t want to.. I don’t care if you do what ever is on your mind,do it….I want it as well” Odessa said. 
    “So you don’t mind having sex with me? Even when you’re not my mate?” Orion asked and Odessa froze.

    “Now you know what’s on my mind,can we stop all these then?” Orion asked. 
    Odessa moved closer and cupped his cheeks before slamming her lips on his own but Orion broke the kiss instantly.

    “So what are you going to do now?! You’re in heat right? That’s why you’re in such a bad mood and you’re being harsh toward me” Odessa said.

    “I will find someone who’s not a wolf……..” Orion muttered.

    “So you’re still going to look for a girl….”
    “I changed my mind” Orion mumbled and went to get a drink from the fridge.

    “I can at least help…can’t we just make out without….”
    “That’s a trigger….” Orion shook his head and Odessa took her lips in. 
    “Can I stay with you for tonight?” 
    “No,,,,I won’t be fine if I keep on seeing you Odessa…..let’s meet tomorrow” Orion said. 
    Odessa nodded and kissed his cheek before walking out of the room. 
    “Fuck” Orion cursed and dropped the bottle in his hand,he fells so damn hot inside,,how he was able to control the feeling with Odessa inside was just a miracle. 
    As he find his way to the bed,his body was shaking,so restless and his dick was beginning to get so hard.

    “Hey” He heard someone from the back and turned to see Sage. 
    “Come with me” Sage grabbed his hand. .
    “Where are we going?” Beorn asked and followed him anyway. 
    “Surprise” Sage smiled. 
    “What…am I your girlfriend?” Beorn mumbled and Sage chuckled. 
    “You can be” 
    “I’m a boy….boyfriend is a better word” Beorn said and Sage laughed. 
    “You’re taking it serious,I was joking” Sage said. 
    They finally got to their door. 
    “What’s the surprise? It’s not our first time here” Beorn scoffed. 
    “Don’t be too forward” Sage groaned and opened the door for him to enter,he stopped walking immediately he saw the way Sage turned the room into something more pretty,at the center was the table with different meals decorated in the plates,the aroma filled the air. 
    Beorn turned back to face Sage. 
    “What is this all about?” He asked. 
    “I’m tired of eating with everyone…I want to eat just with you alone” Sage replied and pushed him forward. 
    “Sit down…I’m sure you’re starving” Sage said. 
    “That’s all you have to say? Just because you want to eat with me alone?” Beorn asked and Sage nodded. 
    They both settled down to eat. 
    “So….what are we?” Beorn suddenly asked and Sage choked. 
    “What….what do you mean?” He stuttered. 
    “You like me right?” Beorn asked. 
    “Beorn..how about you eat and stop talking?” Sage smiled. 
    “Honestly I’ve thought about it….I don’t really care anymore,I like you a lot” Beorn said and Sage sighed. 
    “How can you sound so confident when I can’t even find my tongue to say those words? Stop talking,,my heart is beating fast already” Sage said. 
    Beorn sighed and continue eating without saying a word more.

    FIVE DAYS LATER*
    “So…you mean the sweet said there’s nothing to do to prevent it?” Odessa asked as she walked with The. 
    “Yeah” Thane sighed out. 
    “Have you told Genny?” 
    “How do you expect me to say that out? You know how she is…I can’t” Thane shook his head. 
    “You don’t have a choice anyway,you should tell her and you two can find a solution together” Odessa said and Thane groaned. 
    “I can’t even think well….Thorne isn’t saying anything to me,I’m confused as heck” He said. 
    Odessa sighed and hugged him. 
    “You will be fine” She told him and he hugged her more tightly. 
    “Oh…I need to go. I have a new student I’m training,she will be waiting already” Odessa pecked him before running off. 
    Thane climbed down the stairs leading out from the dorm house,he couldn’t even reply the students greeting him,he was so out of space until suddenly someone bumped into him. 
    “I’m sorry” A tiny voice said and Thane looked down to see the girl staring back at him with a smile. 
    “Hi” She waved but Thane couldn’t talk,,not when his heart was busy misbehaving without his permission,what is she??
    “I’m new here…my name is Thelma” She smiled more brightly.

    “I guess you all are ready” Master Casen said and they all nodded. 
    “It’s a pity because you can’t get to the village by car or anything…you have to make use your powers,I guess you expected that” Master Casen said. 
    “Obviously” Maren rolled her eyes. 
    “You will appear in the woods close to Jwenguri” ( to those finding it hard to pronounce….it’s like this….Wen-Gu-Ri. The J is silent.)
    “Woods?” Atticus asked and Master Casen nodded. 
    “From there you will sure know where to go until you enter the village,you need to find where to stay for the night first,I won’t advice you to go into the mansion in the night,evil spirits gain more powers especially at night” Master Casen said and everyone nodded in agreement. 
    “I know about that, and besides the vampire among us isn’t really powerful during the day” Odessa said. 
    “Says who?” Kymani frowned. 
    “My only concern is that,,do you have enough blood with you? Nobody is ready to volunteer you know?” Beorn said and Orion chuckled. 
    “Are you worried about me?” Kymani asked. 
    “More like pity,you might die if you don’t get blood” Thane said and Kymani looked at him with a frown. 
    Thane ignored him and faced Master Casen. 
    “We should leave now” He said and Master Casen nodded. 
    “Hands lock” He said and they all held each others hands. 
    Master Casen mumbled some words of spells and darkness buzzed around them,mixed together with wind. 
    Soon,they all opened their eyes like master Casen told them,they appeared in the woods. 
    “Whoa!” Odessa and Beorn exclaimed. 
    “This is deep,really” Ophelia said and tried to touch a tree. 
    “Don’t touch anything!” Maren half yelled and they all looked at her. 
    “What,is it dangerous?” Kymani asked. 
    “I smell some dark energies” Maren replied and looked around.
    Thane touched the tree next to him and Genny immediately grabbed his hand. 
    They suddenly heard a loud sound of laughter across the woods,all heads turned toward the direction but Thane faced the other side. 
    His eyes fell on a demon in a child body,dressed in all black,her eyes all black,no single white. She smiled at Thane and started running,Thane snapped Genny’s hand off him and sped after her. 
    “Thane!” Odessa and Genny screamed but then it became silent, Thane was nowhere around. 
    “Where….did he go to? Genny stammered. 
    “I think he saw something” Atticus said. 
    “Like…a demon?” Ophelia asked and Atticus nodded. 
    Meanwhile, Thane and the little girl appeared in the same place and immediately the girl turned into ten different bodies and they surrounded him. 
    “Wow, I must have underestimated you” Thane said and they started laughing, not ordinary. Thane’s ears started bleeding while listening to them,but he ignored the pain and captured one of them. 
    The remaining bodies continued laughing,even more louder. 
    Thane groaned and shoved his claws into the tummy of the one he caught,immediately the others turned  into dark smokes and were consumed. 
    Thane removed his hand from her,along with the intestines,she dropped on the ground and turned into dark smoke also. 
    He touched his ears, they already stopped bleeding but the blood still visible on his face. He appeared back in the middle of others and they quickly rushed over to him. 
    “I’m fine,I’m okay” He said before anyone could touch him. 
    “What do you mean by you’re okay! Your ear…..”
    “It’s nothing, I destroyed them” Thane said to Genny who was at the point of tears. 
    She immediately hugged him. 
    “We shouldn’t waste time,the woods is not safe” Thane said and looked around. 
    “I can sense that,let’s go” Maren said. 
    Sage grabbed Beorn’s hand as they started walking, Beorn looked at him. 
    “Don’t leave my sight” Sage said. 
    “I’m not a kid” Beorn chuckled. 
    “You’re a baby to me” Sage said. 
    “That’s an insult, I’m a boy” Beorn scoffed. 
    Sage chuckled and said nothing, he just held Beorn tighter without letting go. 
    “Are we supposed to be acting romantic in this evil forest right now?” Ophelia asked and everyone turned to her. 
    “You’re not talking about us right?” Genny asked. 
    “You’re guilty too, but I’m talking about Sage and Beorn” Ophelia said. 
    “Romantic? How?” Beorn asked. 
    Ophelia gestured at their locked hands. 
    “Woooohhh” Odessa and Orion chuckled. 
    Sage let go of Beorn’s hand. 
    “So holding hands is romantic now?” Atticus asked, he was also holding Maren. 
    “Don’t mind me, I’m just jealous” Ophelia rolled her eyes and Genny laughed. 
    The walk became silent again and finally after about thirty minutes,they came to the entrance of the village. A signboard standing there says…JWENGURI VILLAGE. 
    “This is crazy” Kymani mumbled. 
    “What are we supposed to do now after this?” Odessa looked at Thane. 
    “The sun will set soon” Atticus said. 
    “We should find somewhere to sleep” Indigo muttered. 
    “Hotel?” Odessa asked and they all looked at her. 
    “Hotel? In this village? You think this is somewhere close to Ravenwood? Obviously not, since we can’t get here by car” Indigo said. 
    “It’s an underworld” Maren muttered. 
    “Underworld?” Genny asked with a raised brow and Maren nodded. 
    “She’s right…..the demons and spirits here are just after blood..I’m sure someone is behind the outbreak” Thane said. 
    “Like….the demon queen who’s always thirsty for blood?” Genny immediately asked and Thane nodded. 
    Suddenly, Some invisible legs sped pass them,they all turned at once,the legs sped back again and they turned again. 
    Just as the legs was about speeding back….Sage opened his hand and his sword appeared,he slashed it across the way and drops of blood fell on the ground. 
    “That’s amazing” Thane said as they all watched the legs became visible on the ground. 
    It’s just the legs,the other bodies are nowhere to be found. They watched the legs dried up and then vanished. 
    “This is one strange and scary village” Ophelia muttered. 
    “Let’s find a place to stay” Kymani said and they started walking away. 
    Beorn gently held Sage’s hand this time around, Sage said nothing and just kept walking. 
    *
    ONE HOUR LATER* 
    “What’s going on? I’m f+cking tired,why are we not seeing any house at all?” Genny groaned. 
    *Don’t be lazy, I can smell some humans close* Tonith snapped at her. 
    “Oh….Tonith said we are close to some humans” Genny spoke up. 
    “I was about saying that,I can smell them” Odessa smiled. 
    Thane squatted in front of Genny. 
    “Get on” He said. 
    She smiled and immediately climbed on his back. 
    “I love you” she kissed his neck. 
    “Let’s really not do that here” Orion and Odessa said at once and they laughed.
    As said,they got to the center of the village and they could see different buildings from where they were standing. 
    “Do you think this village have power? I hate sleeping in darkness” Ophelia said. 
    “Ion think so, sorry” Maren said and Ophelia groaned. 
    “We should be thinking of how to get a place to sleep” Indigo groaned. 
    “Actually,I’m hungry,like very hungry” Odessa shook her head. 
    Foodie” Orion chuckled. 
    “Are you guys new here” They suddenly heard a voice behind them,which made them turn all together. 
    They found a girl around their age standing there. 
    “Hi there” Odessa waved. 
    “Hello” She replied with a smile. 
    “Yeah we are new here”  Genny said. 
    “It’s getting late, looking for where to stay?” She asked. 
    “Of course, can you help? We can pay if you want” Orion said. 
    “Sure, follow me” the girl said. 
    Genny looked at Thane, Odessa raised her brows as she looked at Maren,then Indigo too. 
    “She’s human, not a demon” Thane said. 
    “Yeah” Maren muttered. 
    “Oh thank goodness” Ophelia groaned and they all started following the girl.
    “What’s your name?” Orion asked.
    “Amaya” she replied with a smile and it became quiet again.

    RAVEN PARK, PALACE*
    Luna Liyana walked into the alpha’s chamber and the maids behind her waited outside, the alpha looked up from where he was sitting,he dropped the pen in his hand and Liyana bowed. 
    “What brought you here? Mine” Alpha Raven smiled. 
    “I just learnt that you approved the visit to Jwenguri,but you didn’t inform me about that why?” Liyana asked. 
    “Sorry,,that didn’t cross my mind” Alpha Raven replied. 
    “How could you even approve in the first place? You know how dangerous that place is…..”
    “Thane will be fine Liyana….”
    “And why about Odessa?”
    “Thane will protect his sister, and besides nothing is going to happen to any of them, can you just rest?” Alpha Raven groaned. 
    Luna Liyana rolled her eyes and sat down. 
    “I got a letter” Alpha said and handed over the piece to her. 
    “What? The workers at the field were attacked by rogues?” Her eyes widened and Alpha Raven nodded. 
    “So what’s the plan? It’s obvious they will be back” Liyana said. 
    “The warriors are ready for them, but I’m thinking about the students in the institute, if they can’t access the pack properly,,they might go for the kids” Alpha Raven sighed. 
    “That’s true…so what do you think?” Liyana asked. 
    “I was going to ask you..you always come up with good solutions” the alpha said and Liyana was quiet for some minutes before speaking up. 
    “Maybe we should lock up the dorms for now” She said. 
    “How do you mean?” 
    “I mean….The students would have to return to their different houses after the day’s study and other activities,,the dorms is likely to be attacked,so if they remain in there,,that’s not safe” Luna Liyana said. 
    “Closing the dorms…..meaning all the students have to move their things out….”
    “Their clothes you mean” Liyana said and Alpha Raven chuckled. 
    “That’s a good idea, I will talk to Casen” he said and Liyana stood up. 
    “How about you stop working now and we go to bed?” She asked,grabbing his hand. 
    “I know what you’re thinking….”
    “Don’t spoil my mood,let’s go” Liyana groaned. 
    Alpha Raven carried her in a bridal style and she laughed out. 
    “Bedroom,bedroom…” She said,excitedly.

    “Are you seriously saying you’re here because of Nightshade mansion” Amaya asked. 
    “Yeah,you sound like it’s impossible” Genny said. 
    “Of course,,a lot of people died in the mansion and it’s been locked for ages” Amaya replied. 
    “So you live here?” Thane asked when she finally stopped in front of a big bungalow house. 
    “Yes…my parents are out of village for now so you can all stay here and do everything you want” Amaya told them. 
    “Out of village?” Odessa asked with a suspicious look and she faced them. 
    “Yes, they aren’t humans. They can take care of themselves” She smiled. 
    “Not humans? What are they? Aren’t you human?” Maren asked. 
    “I am…..of course. They are not my biological parents,,I don’t know mine” She mumbled. 
    “Oh…sorry about that” Atticus mumbled. 
    “It’s nothing” She smiled and opened the door. 
    She turned on the light. 
    “Wow,it’s really nice. So you’ve been staying all alone? You’re not scared?” Kymani asked as everyone sat down. 
    Amaya raised her hand,they saw a strange bracelet around her wrist.
    “Father made it….demons or spirits can’t attack me once I have this on” She said. 
    “Wow….so what are your parents?” Odessa asked. 
    “They possess magical powers,just like you guys. They aren’t wolves or vampires anyways” Amaya replied and they nodded. 
    Odessa was already eating the snacks she brought, Genny joined her too. 
    “Is the mansion far from here?” Thane asked Amaya. 
    “Somehow” She nodded. 
    “After eating,we are going to sleep” Ophelia said. 
    “There are three rooms here,I told you my parents aren’t here for now,so don’t worry about it” Amaya said. 
    “Then,can we have our baths also?” Genny asked. 
    “Of course” Amaya replied.

    NEXT MORNING*
    Everyone already walked out of the house,just Sage remaining inside,together with Amaya. 
    “Wait,Sage is not here” Maren suddenly said. 
    “I’m here!” Sage ran out,trying to adjust his hoodie,it was really cold. 
    “Hope it’s not what I’m thinking” Atticus asked, Amaya was just coming out also. 
    “What are you thinking?” Odessa asked. 
    “Maybe he likes Amaya” Atticus teased. 
    “She’s quite cute” Sage muttered and started walking. 
    Beorn looked at Amaya closely and scoffed. 
    “She’s not that cute” He mumbled but Odessa heard him. 
    She chuckled. 
    “We are going to follow you to the mansion….you’re not scared right?” Thane asked Amaya and she shook her head. 
    “Actually,I’ve once tried to enter that place alone” She said. 
    “Why would you do that?” Kymani asked. 
    “I regretted it anyway…it’s really dangerous.” she mumbled. 
    “We are in for this” Genny sighed out. 
    Thane squeezed her hand warmly and she smiled. 
    *I’m not feeling all these things at all,just destroy those spirits and let’s go back,I hate everything here* Thorne groaned. 
    *I hate everything also,but you don’t have a choice,and besides I’m the one working,not you* Thane replied.

    “They were right…the prince is fearless” the demon thing said. 
    “Come closer” Came the order and like someone being controlled, Thane started climbing the stairs.

    “Are all the remaining evil spirits this dumb?” Thane suddenly asked when he got to the last staircase,leading to the room. 
    The demon glanced at him.

    He watched as the dark ashes vanished in the air,he started walking around the house,checking if there are more but there aren’t.

    “Genny?” He called and turned.

    “I thought you left” Thane said and she shook her head.

    “When are we moving? We shouldn’t waste time anymore if those people are in danger” He said. 
    “This evening” Master Casen said an looked at everyone as If to ask if they are fine with it. 
    “This is a mission between life and death…..we don’t know what to expect” Odessa shook her head. 
    “It’s the institute responsibility to take care of all these things” Master Nyx said and sighed. 
    “We will move tonight,everyone should get prepared before then” Thane spoke up again and they all nodded. 
    “We are doing this” Odessa smiled. 
    They were dismissed after that and everyone walked out of the meeting room. 
    “Are you sure we can leave them all alone to go into that village?” Master Nyx asked. 
    “If anything goes wrong more than they can handle,we will interfere,we are not sending anyone to go face death” Master Casen told her and she nodded.

    The messenger demon bowed and left the room at once.

    EVENING TIME*
    As the evening sun cast a warm glow,,the students are gathered in the courtyard, their bags packed and ready for the journey to Jwenguri village. They were chattering among themselves as they stood there.

    In the school woods, one of the students stood alone, surrounded by the dark silhouettes of trees. The night was quiet, the only sound the soft whisper of the wind through the leaves. The moon cast a silver glow, illuminating the clearing in a faint, ethereal light.
    The student’s breath was visible in the chill air, eyes scanning the darkness for any sign.
     And then, without warning, a figure materialized in front of them. Its eyes glowed like embers, casting a faint, eerie light on the forest floor. 
    The student’s smiled. 
    “You have something to tell us” The demon,now changed into human form spoke up. 
    “There’s an upcoming mission,,we will be going to a village to get rid of some evil spirits” The students immediately said,looking around,hoping no one was coming. 
    “What?! Queen mother made those evil spirits and they bring back the humans blood! What is their business with worthless humans that they want to protect them?!” The demon growled. 
    “Reason why I’m telling you,inform the queen right away so you can get rid of them instead before they get rid of the evil spirits” The student said. 
    “Is the prince going also?” 
    “Of course,what do you expect?” 
    “You’ve done a great job,just continue watching”
    “Sure” 
    The demon vanished and the student,after looking around also walked out of the woods.

    THANE’S QUARTERS*
    Genny was lying on the bed, her slender frame swallowed by the oversized shirt that belonged to Thane. Her gaze wandered listlessly around the room, her eyes lingering on every details as if it was her first time in the room. 
    She went to take her bath just few minutes ago only to return and found the room empty without Thane,Genny groaned and closed her eyes. 
    Just then,the door opened,she turned immediately and Thane entered,he smiled. 
    Genny stood on her knees and spread her arms for him to hug which he did as soon as he was close. 
    “Hey!!!! You rink of smoke!” She pushed him off and Thane chuckled. 
    “I wasn’t planning to hug you,it’s not my fault” He said. 
    “Gosh” Genny rolled her eyes. 
    “A kiss before I go take my bath” Thane said. 
    “Are you teasing me?” 
    “If you don’t kiss me now,I won’t kiss you when I’m back either” Thane said. 
    “So now you’re threatening me?” Genny muttered and Thane nodded. 
    “Your choice” He said. 
    Genny leaned closer and kissed him shortly. 
    “I love you” Thane winked and left the room. 
    Genny smiled and fell back on the bed,ten minutes later,Thane joined her on the bed,in another clothes. 
    “You’re finally back” She muttered. 
    “Is this my shirt?” Thane asked,staring at the white shirt,looking big on her. She nodded. 
    “Wow,it looks so good on you” Thane said. 
    “I know” Genny scoffed. 
    “Seriously?” 
    “You left me alone here because you wanted to smoke? For real? Just move away,I’m going to sleep” Genny said. 
    Thane chuckled and pulled her close,he kissed her neck. 
    “You smell like me” He whispered and Genny almost lost it as his warm breath touched her ear,since he just brushed,she could perceive the mint scent from his mouth. 
    “Thane” She called out in a tiny moan. 
    Their eyes met and in a second,their lips already entwined,the warmth of his mouth sending current passing through her whole body,Genny got hold of Thane tightly as she got lost in the sweet taste of his soft lips. 
    Their bodies pressed together heatedly against the bed, breathing heavily as their tongues curled in their mouths,Thane’s hand slides underneath her shirt and cupped one of her boobs. 
    “Hmm” Genny moaned into his mouth,Thane removed his hand and started unbuttoning instead,he broke the kiss and focused on that. 
    Genny was blushing,,her cheeks red and flushed. 
    Thane finished taking off the shirt and started kissing her from the neck,he was already on top of her,their bodies smooching against each other,feeling their warmth. 
    Thane’s mouth captured her nipple and a gasp escaped her lips. 
    “F+ck..you’re so s+xy” He grunted hotly,sending shiver down Genny’s spine. 
    “Continue doing that,I love it” She moaned. 
    Thane started sucking her again and her head threw backward. 
    “Oh my gosh” 
    Thane gave her a small bite and she screamed. 
    “Thane! That hurts…..but I love it” she mumbled. 
    Thane chuckled and raised his head. 
    “Can I go further?” He asked. 
    Genny blinked. 
    “Are we….going to….”
    “I won’t do that until you’re ready” Thane shook his head
    “Who said I’m not ready” She snapped. 
    “You’re not,your heart is beating fast right now,you know you can’t lie to me right?” Thane asked and she took her lips in. 
    “I’m sorry…I just…..” 
    “I’m going to wait,but don’t make it too long,I don’t know if I will be able to resist you for too long” Thane muttered and Genny nodded. 
    “I’m sorry……”
    “Sshhhhh” Thane placed a finger on her lips. 
    “It’s not just about s+x,don’t make me mad” He groaned and Genny chuckled. 
    “I love you okay,a lot” Thane said. 
    “I love you more” She said. 
    Thane helped her put on the shirt back and hugged her to himself like a teddy bear as they slept. 
    About thirty minutes later,Genny opened her eyes to find him already sleeping. 
    “Cute wolfie” She mumbled and kissed his lips,she bite his his lips but he didn’t open his eyes. 
    She went for his neck again and continue kissing him there,she was chuckling wickedly as she gave him countless love bites. 
    She did that until she fell asleep also. 
    *
    NEXT MORNING*
    Thane woke up with Orion tapping him endlessly on the bed. 
    “What” He groaned sleepily. 
    “Wake up,there’s a meeting” Orion said,throwing off the duvet from Thane’s body. 
    “What meeting?” Thane opened his eyes. 
    “Master Casen,I guess he’s going to discuss the coming mission with us” Orion said. 
    “Oh,okay” Thane mumbled and climbed down from the bed. 
    “Can’t believe she left me” he scoffed. 
    “Whoa” Orion muttered,staring at Thane’s neck down to his chest. 
    “What” Thane asked. 
    “Check the mirror” Orion smiled. 
    Thane frowned and immediately walked to the mirror,,his eyes widened seeing his body. 
    Genny really destroyed his body with hickeys,they are so many,red and plump all over his white skin,especially his neck. 
    “Oh no” Thane groaned and run his fingers through his hair. 
    “Sorry your highness” Orion chuckled. 
    “Now I see why she ran,so playful” Thane scoffed and found his way to the bathroom. 
    *
    MEETING ROOM*
    As soon as Thane entered,all eyes fell on him,the red hickeys all over his neck are so colorful and obvious,everyone stared back at Genny and she looked away,almost feeling embarrassed. 
    She never knew he wouldn’t try to hide it at all,why is he not covering it up. 
    “Bad girl” Odessa whispered to her. 
    “Stop it” Genny whispered back and Orion laughed. 
    Ophelia and Maren were also busy whispering and laughing,Indigo rolled her eyes and almost hissed as she glared at Genny hatefully. 
    Beorn on the hand was looking so uncomfortable,the hickeys only reminded him of last night,,even though the only thing he has been thinking about is the kiss…the way Sage’s lips felt on his. 
    He groaned and roughed his hair. 
    “Since everyone’s here now,I will like to talk about….”
    Indigo raised her hand up,interrupting master Casen. 
    “Yes Indigo”
    “I still don’t agree with Genny coming with us” She said and everyone looked at her. 
    “I mean,she’s not even half as strong as everyone here,you excluded Astrid’s name and added hers,why? Because she’s the prince’s mate?” Indigo asked. 
    Master Casen wanted to talk but Genny beat him to it. 
    “So now what do you suggest should be done? Kick me out?” She asked. 
    “Of course not your highness,,how about a test?” Indigo smiled. 
    “Test? What test?” Odessa asked. 
    “A test to see if she capable of course” Indigo replied. 
    “So what type of test?”
    “How about a sword duel with me?” Indigo asked. 
    “Indigo” Odessa frowned. 
    Thane scoffed. 
    “What,I thought she’s the future Luna,sword fight should be a mere game for her…..”
    “I will do it” Genny cut in and all eyes fell on her. 
    “Are you serious right now?” Odessa snapped. 
    “The duel…let’s do it master. Indigo is right” Genny said. 
    Everyone looked at Thane,expecting him to talk. 
    “Sure,she said she want to do it,why not?” Thane said. 
    “What? I thought we planned to go out today,our birthday..” Odessa’s eyes widened. 
    “Let’s shift that till tomorrow” Thane said and Odessa frowned. 
    *
    In just few minutes,everyone in the institute already heard about the duel coming up tonight between Genny and Indigo,of course it was announced officially so every students will be present to watch. 
    *
    8PM, OUTDOOR ARENA* 
    The outdoor arena was packed with students, all gathered to watch the duel between Genny and Indigo. The masters sat in the front row, their faces serious and expectant. The night air was filled with the soft glow of bulbs from the institute, casting a warm light over the scene.
    In the center of the arena, a large open space was reserved for the duel. Two tables stood at the side, each holding a selection of swords. Master Casen stood between the tables, his eyes fixed on the two students.
    When everyone was ready, Master Casen spoke up, 
    “Genny and Indigo, please choose a sword from the tables.” 
    The two of them walked forward, their eyes scanning the swords before making their selection.
     “Now, take your positions,” Master Casen instructed.
    They both stood opposite each others,their swords got unsheathed already. 
    “Seriously? Are you not going to stop this fight? What If something go wrong?” Odessa asked beside Thane. 
    They are both standing far away from the students,Thane just stood there,smoking. 
    “It’s like you don’t care….”
    “She will be fine,,I think I trained her well enough,stop bothering Dessa” Thane said. 
    Odessa sighed and decided to trust Thane’s words. 
    They heard the sound,meaning the fight can start and there was silence. 
    The students held collective breath as Indigo and Genny faced off in the center of the arena.
    The two fighters circled each other, their eyes locked in a fierce stare. Indigo struck the first blow, her sword slicing through the air with deadly precision. Genny parried it easily, their swords clashing in a shower of sparks.
    Indigo took advantage of the momentary lapse, striking Genny’s sword with a powerful blow. Genny’s sword shuddered, but it didn’t break. Instead, it glowed with a faint blue light, as if absorbing the force of the blow.
    Genny retaliated, her sword slicing through Indigo’s defenses. Indigo leapt back, her eyes flashing with surprise,the skill Genny used just now was something Thane would do. 
    ‘This bi+ch must have learnt alot’ she thought. 
    The fight wore on, the two of them evenly matched. But Genny’s skill began to gain her the upper hand.
    The force from her sword got Indigo stumbling back but she flew right immediately,aiming her sword at Genny in a cruel way. 
    Everyone sat up properly,Genny punched Indigo in her tummy and that punch sent her flying off,she landed on the ground roughly. 
    🗣 Whoa!!
    🗣 Genny just won right?
    Indigo glared angrily and without thinking twice where she was sitting,she threw her sword directly at Genny. 
    Everyone gasped as they watched the sword going straight at Genny. 
    Odessa almost screamed,Thane scoffed. 
    But just as the sword was about getting to Genny,her eyes sparked in yellow and the sword stopped with full force,she opened her palm and controlled the sword with her hand,the sword faced the other side back and with just a tiny effort,Genny spark the sword with her finger back at Indigo and she didn’t escape it. 
    Everyone jumped up with loud screams as the sword entered Indigo’s neck and her blood started splashing on the ground.

    “What are you still waiting for?” He asked when she didn’t move. 
    “Oh….yeah” Genny mumbled and slowly walked to the bed and sat down on it,she looked up again to see Thane but he was gone. 
    Genny heaved out a loud sigh of relief before laying on the bed,her body already calmed down at this point,then she started thinking,what was that? What crazy feelings and adrenaline rush was that? It’s strange,she has never felt that before. 
    She hugged one of the pillows to herself and tried to close her eyes,another question suddenly popped into her head and she opened her eyes again. 
    “Why is he letting me sleep here?” She asked no one in particular. 
    “And he hugged me……”
    “Can you just stop over thinking and sleep?!” Thane shouted at her immediately he entered the room,closing the door loudly behind him. 
    Genny gulped and bite her lips hard,she wouldn’t deny that she was scared,anytime he uses that voice,she gets scared. Obviously because he’s an alpha,it’s normal! She could see he was really angry,he has a blunt of weed in between his fingers,he was actually smoking. 
    “I’m…..” Genny tried to apologize. 
    “I brought you here because those demons are after you! Shouldn’t you use your brain to reason sometimes? Huh?! You saw it too,black blades or whatever damn name they are called,and f+cking thanks to you I was able to make the barrier stronger,but we can’t say,those people are patrolling the institute and ready to attack nobody else but you so can you stop those dry thoughts of yours and sleep?!” He said in an authoritative voice. 
    “I’m sorry” Genny mumbled and took her lips in. 
    “Sleep or leave if you want” Thane said lastly and went out again. 
    Genny hugged the pillow back and closed her eyes,she can’t even mention what she was feeling right now. 
    Does that mean…he heard her thoughts? It seems like it,if this is true then.
    ‘I want to scream’ she said inwardly. 
    If he really heard those n+ughty thoughts of hers…….
    *He said you should stop thinking!* the voice in her head suddenly yelled out at her in frustration and Genny blinked. 
    She tried replying but never got a response,it’s just like the last time too. 
    “Okay, Just sleep Genevieve” She sighed out and closed her eyes deeply,looking for the sleep.

    Sage and Beorn were just approaching their room after Beorn made them stop to eat the meat he was suddenly craving for. 
    “I feel so full” He groaned,touching his tummy then ate out of the ice cream he was holding. 
    “Do you have a basin in your tummy? When did you get the ice cream again?” Sage asked,looking surprised. 
    “Every wolves I know have wild food cravings and you know that” Beorn replied and Sage scoffed. 
    “But yours is becoming too much,don’t die of food….meat in particular” 
    “Yes boss” Beorn bowed jokingly. 
    They continue walking and Beorn finished up the ice cream in no time making Sage shook his head but he said no word. 
    “Hey Beorn!” Two boys called and ran to them. 
    Sage wanted to leave him there but Beorn quickly grabbed his wrist,holding him tightly as he spoke with the boys. 
    Sage sighed out,trying to hold down at least but the boys keep on talking and talking and he was getting fed up,he wanted to move again but Beorn didn’t release him,he pushed his hand off and walked away. Beorn’s eyes followed him and sighed. 
    After waiting for about ten minutes talking,they finally left and Beorn also went straight inside his room. 
    “Hey,what was that again? If you had waited,they would have at least left me early enough!” Beorn said almost angrily as he entered. 
    “I already told you to learn how to say no when you’re not interested in things,why can’t you just tell them you can’t wait to talk to them? Just why?” Sage snapped. 
    “You think everyone is like you? They were so happy talking to me,you saw that in their eyes,everyone can’t be as cold as you are….”
    “Then why not just let me be with my cold attitude and deal with yourself talking to everyone in the world? Why bringing me into that? I’m not like you, who cares about the heck people think,I f+cking don’t like talking or keep people by my side,why can’t I just stay like that? You can’t change me” Sage said. 
    “Like hell,I hate your attitude” Beorn muttered. 
    “If you hate it then you can stop being friends with me,not like I care” Sage snapped and Beorn fold his fists. 
    Sage run his hand into his hair,regretting that he said that.
    “I’m just…….”
    “Keep it to yourself” Beorn said and stormed out of the room,closing the door behind him loudly. 
    Sage sat down on his bed and buried his face into his palms. 
    * 
    ORION’S ROOM* 
    Orion was just coming out of the bathroom when he heard a faint knock on his door,he furrowed his brows and walked to the door,he opened. 
    “Beorn?” He called,looking pleased to see him. 
    “Can I spend the night here?” Beorn asked. 
    “Of course” Orion smiled and Beorn entered. 
    Orion locked the door back and turned to him. 
    “Did something happened? You fought with Sage?” He asked. 
    “I won’t call it a fight,he just piss me off right now” Beorn rolled his eyes and Orion chuckled. 
    “I thought you two finally stopped your couples fight” He teased and Beorn glared. 
    “What” Orion laughed. 
    “What silly couples fight? It’s more like unreasonable fights,He’s always at fault” Beorn scoffed and pulled off his shoes. 
    “As always,you will never accept that you’re wrong” Orion said,he was already putting on some clothes. 
    “Why should I be at fault,I don’t know why he’s always so grumpy to everyone….”
    “You should know Sage already,He’s always like that,remember how I always fight with him back then in the pack because I thought he was being rude to Thane” Orion said. 
    “Well he got even worse” Beorn rolled his eyes. 
    Orion walked closer and sat down on the couch. 
    “How worse?” He asked. 
    “Why are you so interested? It’s annoying” Beorn said. 
    “I’m trying to know what I can do to help” Orion muttered. 
    “Help? Why?” 
    “Because you can’t live without Sage” Orion muttered and Beorn frowned. 
    “That’s insulting,says who?!” He shouted and Orion laughed. 
    They heard the door and they both turned,Orion stood up and went to open the door. Odessa entered. 
    “Oh….Beorn” She grinned and immediately went closer. 
    “What are you doing here? Dear princess” Beorn asked and then looked at Orion. 
    “Why are you looking at me?” Orion frowned and Beorn coughed. 
    “What are you thinking” Odessa hit his arm. 
    “That hurts!” Beorn shouted. 
    “Why are you here? Is there something wrong?” Orion asked. 
    “Indigo and I…had a misunderstanding and I swear I don’t know what can happen anytime if I don’t leave,that’s why I’m here,I went to Thane but Genny was sleeping innocently on his bed” Odessa grinned. 
    “What?!” Orion and Beorn shouted. 
    “They are sleeping together?” Orion asked. 
    “No,he’s in the living room” Odessa said. 
    “Since when did he start allowing people sleep in his room? I thought he’s irritated when touched or close with” Beorn said. 
    “That’s what we thought” Orion sighed out and Beorn laughed. 
    “What about you? Why are you here?” Odessa asked. 
    “He fought with Sage” Orion replied and Odessa shook her head. 
    “A never ending saga” She mumbled. 
    “I just don’t understand why two people who are opposite in every way would decide to be friends,the only similarity between them is that they are both wolves” Orion sighed. 
    “Actually two” Odessa said. 
    “What again?” Orion asked. 
    “They can’t live without each other” She muttered. 
    “There you go again,says who exactly?! I can do without talking to him….”
    “I can’t count how many times you’ve said this Beorn,but in the end you’re the first to run after him,I give you tonight,by tomorrow,you’re whipped again” Orion muttered and Odessa laughed. 
    “You two are being annoying right now” Beorn muttered and kept quiet. 
    Orion and Odessa coughed and he scoffed. 
    “How are we going to sleep?” Odessa asked. 
    “I will just sleep on the floor don’t worry,you can share the bed with Beorny” Orion said. 
    “Don’t start Oriony” Beorn snapped and Odessa laughed. 
    “Stop calling yourselves those annoying names please” She said. 
    “And….I will sleep on the floor with Oriony,you can have the bed all to yourself dear princess” Beorn smiled and got down. 
    “I feel like a bad person” Odessa muttered,watching Orion spread the big thick blanket on the floor and they both lie down with pillows beneath their head and duvet on their bodies. 
    Odessa took her own pillow too and jumped in between them. 
    “What!” Beorn shouted and she slapped his mouth playfully,which made Orion laugh. 
    “Are you seriously sleeping here?” Beorn asked. 
    “It’s going to be boring sleeping alone on the bed” Odessa groaned,covering herself with the duvet also,she was in the middle. 
    The three of them lay down,facing the ceiling. 
    Beorn was the first to sleep off,Odessa turned her face to Orion and found him also staring at her. 
    “Hey” She smiled. 
    “You should sleep,don’t talk” Orion muttered lowly,not to wake Beorn up. 
    Odessa shifted closer and he raised his brows. 
    “What……” 
    She pecked his lips and Orion’s eyes widened. 
    “Odessa……..”
    “Goodnight” She cut him off and turned her back on him immediately. 
    Orion sighed and also closed his eyes. 
    *
    NEXT MORNING* 
    “Beorn!” 
    Beorn heard someone called him,he was on his way to his room,he paused and turned back to see Astrid and Ophelia,Astrid walked over to him. 
    “Morning” Beorn said and she bit her lips. 
    “About what happened…..”
    “Let’s not talk about it anymore,I’m totally fine” Beorn said and Astrid looked at him with guilt in her eyes. 
    “Believe me,I’ve really forgiven you” Beorn said,sounding more convincing. 
    “If you’re like this,how do you expect me not to fall for you?” Astrid asked,in tears. 
    “It was so annoying that you didn’t even know,were you just pretending not to know or what?!” She cried. 
    Beorn looked around to see if anyone was staring,he faced Astrid again and wiped her tears. 
    “Don’t do that,people are watching” He muttered and she sniffs. 
    “I still like you,and I don’t know when I’m going to get over you,,I know I was wrong,but I just allowed my emotions to win over me,I never meant to hurt you,I wouldn’t hurt you” she shook her head. 
    “I’m sorry” She sniffs and ran off before Beorn could say anything else. 
    He sighed and roughed his hair,he turned to walk away but stopped again when he saw Sage in front of him,he also stopped walking and they began staring at each other,Sage was already dressed up,maybe going for breakfast or class. 
    Beorn was planning to walk away first but Sage beat him to it,he left without saying a word to him. Beorn turned with a glare,watching Sage walk away. 
    “Did he just….ignored me?” He scoffed and also left,looking freshly annoyed by what just happened. 
    *
    DINNING HALL*
    “Hey Sage” Lila and Luna called as he entered. 
    “Join us” they said. 
    Sage didn’t decline,he walked over to the booth and sat down,the servers came with his food almost immediately. 
    “What about Beorn?” The twins asked. 
    “He will be here soon” Sage muttered and started eating. 
    “Can I join?” Kalysta asked,standing with her food tray in her hand,her eyes on Sage who didn’t bother looking up. 
    “of course” Lila and Luna said. 
    Kalysta smiled and sat down next to Sage. 
    “Hi” She smiled. 
    Sage sighed and replied with a nod. 
    Kalysta bit her bottom lip and started eating,she was trying hard to start a conversation with him but he never seem interested in anything she says. 
    “Wow,you’re still in this school?” Atticus teased Maren as he joined her,she was eating alone. 
    “Like you care” Maren rolled her eyes. 
    “Of course I do,nobody is coming to me to booast about their new spells anymore” Atticus chuckled and she scoffed. 
    “What,is something wrong?” Atticus asked and adjusted his glasses. 
    “Just eat,you’re annoying me” Maren mumbled. 
    “Wow,are you mad at me? Really? Did I do anything wrong?” Atticus asked seriously this time around. 
    Maren was about replying when she saw Astrid entered with Ophelia and she scoffed. 
    “Your favorite is here” She said. 
    Atticus raised his brows in confusion,he turned and his eyes met with Ophelia. 
    “Hi Atti” She waved at him and he returned it. 
    Ophelia and Astrid sat down somewhere else and Atticus faced Maren back. 
    “Wait….don’t tell me…you’re jealous?” He asked. 
    “No I’m not!!!” Maren screamed and all eyes fell on them. 
    Maren stood up and took her book before running out,her hair flowing behind her. 
    “What the heck” Atticus chuckled unbelievably and bit his lips. 
    “Such a drama queen” Ondine said,still laughing about Maren who just ran out. 
    “Sure she is” Juna said. 
    Genny chuckled and said nothing,she took the cup of water to drink but suddenly someone smashed the cup out of her hand and the glass broke into pieces on the floor. 
    Genny gasped and looked up to see an angry Indigo,all eyes now on them. 
    Ondine and Juna looked at Indigo with confusion.  
    “What was that?” Genny asked. 
    “Stop pretending you bitch! I saw you this morning,sneaking out of Thane’s quarters!” Indigo yelled angrily. 
    The students gasped. 
    “Wait,don’t tell me you’re into hookup” Indigo said. 
    “Not everyone is like you Indigo,not everyone” Genny said. 
    “Then…can you tell us why you slept in his room?” Indigo asked,a smirk visible on her face. 
    Genny sighed,she could hear everyone whispering among themselves,waiting for to answer.
    The worst part is that she didn’t actually tell Ondine and Juna that she had slept in Thane’s room.
    “Is that really….true?” Juna asked in a whisper and Genny nodded,they gasped. 
    🗣 Wow,I’ve never seen anyone sleeping over in the Prince’s room
    🗣 Who the hell is she?
    “Seriously? Is Thane fucking your crush? That’s bad” Zarek chuckled and Kymani glared at him. 
    “Sorry” Zarek muttered. 
    “We are still waiting for your answer” Indigo said loudly. 
    Kymani was about standing up to defend her when Odessa stood up from where she was sitting and kicked the table loudly,everyone turned,including Indigo. 
    “Who the fuck do you think you are to ask her that question?” Odessa asked and everyone gasped. 
    🗣 What’s going on?
    🗣 Are they having a misunderstanding?
    🗣 Odessa is not supporting Indigo?
    Indigo laughed.
    “Seriously? Now you’re supporting her…..”
    “Hell no I’m talking because you’re trying to talk down on my brother like they are hooking up or something,what’s wrong with your brain? And even if they are,Genny doesn’t owe you any explanation,at least you will kill to be in that position to get to hook up with my brother,isn’t that what you’ve been after for years now?” Odessa asked and the students covered their mouths with their palms.

    Indigo fold her fists as the two of them glared at each other,Indigo stormed out of the hall,pushing Odessa out of the way with her shoulder. 
    Genny looked at Odessa to say a thank you but Odessa walked away also. 
    Everyone in the hall staring at Genny,and she hated it. She hated being the center of attention,and their looks aren’t pleasant at all,they are probably hating her right now,,,she just made two best friends fight in front of the whole students. 
    Their eyes on her only reminds her of her old school….is this what Indigo wanted,her smirk earlier wasn’t normal,she was after something.

    HOURS LATER*
    Genny walked into the restroom and turned on the tap,she washed her face and stared at herself in the mirror. 
    Since the morning incident,she have been quiet,maybe because she’s been having classes without any break and none of her friends are in her class,it’s a very busy day for her,and also so lonely. 
    She repacked her ponytail and suddenly remember Thane telling her he loves her hair down,a smile appeared on her face and she removed the tie,she arranged her hair and walked out of the restroom. 
    As soon as she stepped out,she saw some groups of girls pointing at her and she swallowed,looking confused. 
    🗣 is she not the one hooking up with the prince?
    🗣 She must really think she’s a goddess or something
    🗣 She actually look like a bitch for real..
    🗣 I’m sure she seduced the prince with her body. 
    🗣 I just don’t like her. 
    Genny gulped and grabbed her chest,it’s the same feeling…from her old school,and then this. 
    She hated people pointing at her,saying mean things about her,it makes her breathless,it’s suffocating. 
    “Hey! Bitch! Stay away from the alpha prince!” One of these girls said and in a minute they already surrounded her. 
    Genny was shaking,she couldn’t breathe,she grabbed her chest,gasping for breath in their middle as they continue bashing her,she could see Indigo from the upstairs smiling,it’s obvious she made them do it. 
    “Please….stop it” Genny said faintly. 
    It was like a deja vu in her body,the memories of how she always get bullied where she came from filled her mind,those mean words started playing in her head,it’s traumatic,she was definitely traumatized by those words. 
    “I hate her”
    “So ugly”
    “A monster”
    “How could she turn two best friends against each other?” 
    Genny covered her ears,tears rolling down her eyes and her vision was beginning to get blurry. 
    “Hey!! Look at us!!!” Three girls shouted and Genny managed to open her eyes. 
    The girls smirked and opened their palms, white stones appeared on them and they threw it directly at Genny,targeting her head. 
    Genny closed her eyes,expecting the pain,it’s not like anyone would save her,nobody ever did,back then,and even now,nobody…..
    She was still thinking when she felt a shadow in front of her and gasps followed. 
    Thane appeared in front of Genny,covering her up and two stones hit his back,the third one hit his head. 
    Loud gasps covered the air. 
    Genny opened her eyes and looked up in a slow mo,her eyes locked with Thane’s own,he was also staring at her. Then she saw blood running down his head,beneath his hair. 
    🗣 He’s bleeding 
    🗣 The Prince’s head.
    🗣 Oh no. 
    Thane ignored the blood in his head and carried Genny in a bridal style,a gasp escaped her lips and she immediately held him tightly,then he turned,the girls immediately moved back,they all fell on their knees. 
    Indigo who was watching from upstairs was boiling in anger already. 
    🗣 Your highness,please forgive us
    🗣 We are so sorry…
    “Orion!!” Thane called and Orion appeared within a blink of an eye. 
    “Into the cell….all of them” Thane said and Genny’s eyes widened,she raised her head. 
    “Yes your highness” Orion bowed and Thane stared walking away. 
    Genny could hear the girls crying and she saw some guards walking to them,probably to take them to the cell like Thane commanded. 
    She looked up at Thane,his head was still bleeding. 
    “You can just get down if you want to…..”
    Before Thane could finish,she shut her eyes and her head hit his chest and she held him tightly.

    “What….what are you doing….move back” She mumbled and Thane chuckled. 
    “Hey!!!! You bitch!!!!” Indigo shouted as she entered,seeing the scene in front of her made her angry,she rushed to them and grabbed Genny with her hair,throwing her on the floor. 
    “Ahh!” Genny winced as she fell. 
    “I told you to stay away from him slut!!” Indigo yelled with dark eyes,her fingers grew longer and she almost rushed to her on the floor,Thane appeared in front of her and her finger slightly scratched his skin. 
    “Stay away!!!” She yelled at him,glaring angrily. 
    Thane ignored her and turned to Genny on the floor. 
    “Leave” He muttered. 
    Genny got up and glared at Indigo before going out. 
    Thane faced Indigo back,meeting with her angry face and they both continue glaring at each other. 
    “Were you trying to kiss her?” Indigo asked,her eyes still dark. 
    Thane looked at the cut on his arm and the wound closed up,then faced her again. 
    “Next time you do shit like that,thinking you’re something special to me,I will kill you” He said calmly and turns to leave. 
    “You’re making me worry!” Indigo screamed and almost grab him. 
    Thane faced her back and just the spark inside his eyes threw her off her feet and pinned her on the wall. She couldn’t move any part of her body as she stayed pinned up on the wall. 
    “Hey!!! Let me go!!! Thane!!!” She screamed. 
    “I believe I said something about you not trying that with me again” Thane said. 
    “Thane….”
    “Call my name next time and I will dry up your fucking energy” He said and she gulped,she wouldn’t dare utter any word again. 
    “How else do you want me to tell you to back off?” He asked,looking up at her. 
    “Forget about those kisses,they mean nothing to me,they are just few things I do to get some things out of my mind,you and I…will never happen Indigo,no matter how hard you try,I don’t give a fuck about you” 
    “I won’t give up!!” She shouted. 
    Thane glares harder and she gasped for breath,an invisible force choking her neck. She couldn’t breathe,neither could she move. 
    “You still don’t want to give up?” Thane asked. 
    Indigo’s eyeballs disappeared,remaining white but Thane didn’t release her,he slides his hands into his pockets. 
    Orion entered and his eyes widened,he immediately extended his hands toward Indigo,unleaching out some energy which released her from Thane’s own and she fell on the floor,coughing out. 
    Thane faced Orion with a glare. 
    “Why did you do that?”
    “She was dying” Orion muttered. 
    “So what?! Who said you can interrupt in what I do?!” Thane yelled and he immediately bowed. 
    “I’m sorry your highness,I just….”
    “Get out,don’t show me your face until tomorrow,get out!!” He shouted and Orion went out. 
    Thane looked at Indigo and controlled her with his eyes to come closer,she stopped in front of him and he touched her neck,she got her breath back. 
    “Don’t dare me next time” He muttered and went out. 
    Tears dropped out of Indigo’s eyes,two guards came in. 
    “We are sorry but the prince said you are not allowed in here again” 
    *
    BACK IN THE POOL AREA*
    Genny sat down on a bench,a frown on her face,she released a scoff again,watching everyone having fun. 
    “Hey Genny” Odessa waved at her from inside the pool,she rolled her eyes and looked away. 
    “What! Are you mad at me?” Odessa swam close to the edge. 
    “That was a lie right? You set me up!” Genny shouted and Odessa laughed. 
    “So what happened in there? Don’t tell me nothing happened” She grinned. 
    “Of course your friend came in and dragged me with my hair and push me to the floor,happy now?” Genny scoffed and Odessa’s eyes widened. 
    “What about Thane,what did he….”
    “He told me to leave,what do you expect?” Genny snapped. 
    “Oh….I’m sorry about that. I was hoping for something different” Odessa mumbled and came out of the pool. 
    “Something different indeed” Genny scoffed. 
    They suddenly saw Indigo running off,wiping her eyes like she’s crying. 
    “Oh oh…I think something really happened” Odessa muttered. 
    “Let’s talk later” She said and grabbed a towel on the bench,she ran after Indigo. 
    “What happened in there?” Genny mumbled,looking confused. 
    “Hey” She heard a familiar voice and she looked to her right,Kymani standing. 
    “Oh….I was just about leaving” She said and stood up to go but Kymani grabbed her hand,she gulped. 
    “Do I really….don’t have another chance?” Kymani asked and Genny looked at him. 
    “I told you that was a mistake,I mean it. I would have done something if I want you to forgive me at once,but I’m really sorry as you can see,can you please stop running away from me? I won’t hurt you” Kymani said. 
    “She’s with me” Thane came over,Kymani and Genny both gazed at him. 
    “What do you mean? I met her here alone” Kymani glared. 
    “We were in between a conversation” Thane said to Genny,ignoring Kymani. 
    ‘Seriously? He thinks he can just come here after sending me out for Indigo?’ Genny scoffed inwardly and faced Kymani. 
    “Let’s get a drink together” She and and walked away without sparing Thane another glance. 
    Kymani gave Thane a bad look and followed Genny. 
    Thane sighed and pushed his hands into his pockets,then walked away. 
    “Hey Lila!” A guy suddenly called Lila from where she was having fun with her sister,they both turned. 
    “Oh…I was calling Lila” he said. 
    “What is it?” .the twins asked.
    “I just…wanted to say you look hot” He directed his compliment to Lila. 
    “Thank you” They both answered and turned away from him again. 
    He blinked and his friends bursts into laughter. 
    “You seriously don’t know those twins?” One asked. 
    “I know…I just…thought it would be different” 
    “I bet they might have to f+ck the same guy in future” 
    They all laughed. 
    Maren was swimming with Ondine and Juna,their laughters echoing in the air. 
    “It’s my first time seeing you without your book” Ondine said and Juna laughed. 
    “Your hair,oh my goodness. You’re like a mermaid right now” A girl commented as Maren’s long hair covered a certain space in the pool. 
    “Can you bring out your hair like a swing? This way?” Another girl asked,showing her and example,flipping her head to the back and her hair splashed water around. 
    Maren chuckled and did exactly that. 
    “Whoaaa!!!!!!!” Everyone in the pool exclaimed. 
    She smiled and turned around,only for her to see Ophelia and Atticus sitting next to each other on the pool edge,their legs inside the water. 
    Her fists clenched and she immediately looked away from them. 
    Sage returned to the pool area after going to the restroom,he got there and found no traces of Beorn in the pool again. He looked around but still the same. 
    “Hey,have you seen Beorn?” He asked Kalysta,she was the sitting beside him earlier. 
    “Oh..he left with Astrid a while ago” Kalysta replied and Sage immediately grabbed his shirt,he ran off. 
    “Fuck that bitch” He cursed,letting out his speed ability. 
    He tried to get his smell and…..it led him toward Astrid’s room,an angry growl escaped his lips and he increased his pace. 
    *
    ASTRID AND OPHELIA’S ROOM*
    Astrid’s lips grazed Beorn’s, her kisses soft and tender. Yet, beneath the surface, she felt a sense of power and greed filled her up, as if she was drowning in her own desires. She had confessed him, and now he was as powerless as he could ever be. 
    Beorn’s eyes were glazed, his movements lethargic, as he responded to her kisses with a dreamy, far-off quality. 
    Astrid pushed him on the bed and climbed on him,their eyes locked and she felt a kind of guilt rushing in her blood,but it was too late,she couldn’t control her longings and lust for him. She can’t even forget the numbers of times she had dreamt of having sex with him but he kept on pushing her away,and now she can have him all to herself. 
    She resumed kissing him,more deeper and controlling this time around. Her hand run through his bare chest and she broke the kiss,she started kissing his neck,down to his chest. 
    She was about unzipping his pant when the door bursts open,revealing Sage,looking so angry that he might kill her if he got the chance. 
    “You fucking damn bitch!!” He growled,he vanished from there and appeared right in front her,targetting her neck. 
    Astrid left the bed in ease and threw a punch on his face,another one on his chest making him land on the wall and he fell to the ground. 
    “I hate people interrupting me when I’m wild!!!” She yelled and a heavy breeze blown from her mouth,covering Sage up. 
    Her eyes turned blue,connecting with the breeze and they caged Sage up where he was. 
    She used her eyes to close the door and climbed on the bed again,obviously she had totally lost in and wasn’t thinking again. 
    Sage used all his strength to remove the boundary she set around him,he got up and immediately shifted into his wolf form,the wolf jumped on her back and she screamed as she was thrown across the room.. 
    He jumped on her again with an angry growl,tearing her face with its claw. 
    “Ahhhhhh!!!!!” Ophelia screamed as she entered. 
    Astrid already lost her consciousness,blood covering her face. 
    Ophelia swallowed hard. 
    Sage shifted back and she almost fell on the floor,seeing his red eyes,his claws still visible. 
    “Change him back” He said in a cold voice. 
    “Change…change…what happened?” Ophelia asked. 
    “She fucking confessed him!!” Sage yelled and Ophelia gasped. 
    She quickly ran to Beorn on the bed and run her fingers through his face. 
    “Don’t touch him that way,don’t” Sage snapped. 
    She removed her hand and locked her eyes with Beorn’s own,she uttered some words and immediately his eyes changed back to normal. 
    “Beorn!” Sage ran to him and pushed Ophelia out of his way. 
    “What…happened?” Beorn asked. 
    Sage blew air into his eyes and he fell asleep. He immediately carried him on his back and turned to Ophelia who was trying to wake Astrid up. 
    “I’m going to really kill her next time she try this shit,tell her that” He muttered and walked out of the room. 
    “I warned her” Ophelia bit her lips.

    10PM, LIBRARY*
    📨 Have you heard? Astrid confessed Beorn and tried having s+x with him. 
    Genny’s eyes widened as she read the message from Juna on her phone. 
    “Why would she do that?” She mumbled,another message entered. 
    📨 It was obvious she’s been crushing on him but he never looked at her that way….I heard Sage came before she could do it and he torn her face with his claws. 
    Genny gasped and immediately replied. 
    📨 I will be there. 
    She closed her books and walked out of the library. 
    The school light was still on so she wasn’t scared,she passed through the hall way,it was quiet,only the sound of her sneakers could be heard. All of a sudden she heard a glimpse sound which made her pause. 
    She turned to the direction where the sound came from and frowned when she saw another staircase,leading down. 
    “I didn’t know this was here” She muttered and slowly,she began going down the stairs. 
    She came to the end of the stairs and looked around,it was strange,she have never been there before,it was like another place entirely different from the school,it was dark,no light at all,she was supposed to turn back and leave but her curiosity wouldn’t allow her. 
    “Where is this place?” She mumbled,looking around and she kept moving. 
    She stopped in front of a big door,in the middle was a big sign with a pyramid shape,at the center,written some words she couldn’t read or understand. 
    Suddenly she heard some cries,it was like it came from a distance,it sounded like cries for help. 
    Genny’s heart skipped a beat and she moved closer to the door,the moment she touched it,a blue flame mixed with wind blew her off,and she could have broken her back if only her back hit the pillar but she felt someone caught her in their arms. 
    She immediately turned and her eyes met with Thane’s own. 
    “What are you doing here?” Thane asked,looking around. 
    “You’ve never been here before?” Genny asked,reading his expression. 
    “Didn’t you read the rules? This place is restricted” Thane said. 
    “Something just…kind of called me. I think there’s something behind that door” She muttered and they both stood next to each other,staring at the door. 
    “Do you know that sign? Can you read what’s written there?” She asked. 
    “That looks like some spells…..like it was used to lock the door and a barrier was created around it,if just anyone goes close,they might die” Thane said and Genny glanced up at him. 
    “Meaning there is something in there…like..people” She muttered. 
    “People?” Thane raised his brows. 
    “I heard cries…I don’t know if they are not people but I’m sure I heard cries” Genny said. 
    Thane started walking closer to the door,but stopped when he got somewhere. 
    “What’s wrong?” Genny asked from the back. 
    “There are some energy here…….” He paused and touched the door,nothing happened. 
    “You touched it” Genny said looking surprised and walked over to him. 
    She tried touching it again but it was the same as first. 
    “Ahh!!!” She screamed as she was thrown away again. 
    Thane appeared behind her and caught her once again. 
    “I think it’s a secret place….that sign…..I’ve seen it once” Thane mumbled and dropped her. 
    “Where?” 
    “At the palace, father’s chamber” He replied. 
    Genny said nothing. 
    “Let’s go,you shouldn’t get hurt because of that” He said and they both left,but Genny was still curious. 
    They were both walking in the passage way leading to Genny’s room when suddenly she heard a snap sound in her head,noises in her head. 
    “Genny!” Thane called but stopped when her eyes changed color into black and her body became still,her face up. 
    Thane stood there without saying a word,it took about three minutes before she returned back to normal,she was breathing heavily. 
    “Thane” She grabbed him. 
    “Who are….black blades?” She asked. 
    “Blackblades?”
    She nodded. 
    “They are like our opponents,enemies…they are demons disguised as humans,you once saw the vision about them attacking” Thane said. 
    “They will be here again….”
    “When?” 
    “I couldn’t get the time but…I saw them killing a lot,is there a barrier around this place?” She asked. 
    “Sure,they can’t break it if it’s strong enough” Thane said. 
    “I don’t think it’s strong right now,they really attacked us….in my vision” 
    They suddenly appeared somewhere else…it’s outside the school,the walls surrounding the entire school building. 
    “Why….why are we here?” Genny asked. 
    “To make the barrier stronger” Thane muttered and opened his palms,Genny watched as he summoned something like a bulb in form of fire mixed with water,rolling in his palms. 
    “What’s that?” She asked curiously. 
    “Something you don’t know” Thane mumbled,the bulb turned into a sword and it sparkled in blue and white,lightning everywhere up,Genny covered her eyes,preventing them from it. 
    Thane plunged the sword deeply into the ground and Genny could see the energy glooming around the walls for a minute before it became invisible. 
    “Wow” She muttered. 
    Her body suddenly began to heat up,it was as if she lost her strength all of a sudden. 
    Thane faced her and she staggered but he caught her. 
    “What’s going on? Why am I suddenly weak?” She asked. 
    “Since you’re not strong enough,you get weak each time you see visions like this” Thane replied and she swallowed. 
    They appeared in Thane’s room. 
    “What are we doing here?” She looked around.
    “Don’t you think you have an explanation to do?” He asked her. 
    “What explanation?” She asked. 
    “You followed Kymani earlier,why?” Thane asked. 
    “You threw me out for Indigo too and you suddenly showed up again,do I look like a puppy?” She scoffed and rolled her eyes. 
    “Wow,now you can roll eyes at me?” Thane asked and she immediately got her sense back. 
    “I’m sorry” She bowed. 
    Thane chuckled and took off his shirt,her eyes widened. 
    “Oops,sorry,I forgot I always make you breathless” He smirked,walking toward the dressing room. 
    “You’re a flirt!” Genny yelled after him.
    She sat down on the couch,waiting for him to get back and soon he did. 
    “You said you want to apologize to him” He said and Genny looked up. 
    “What’s his name?” 
    “Thorne” Thane smiled. 
    “Yea…I..should do that” She stuttered and stood up. 
    She cleared her throat to talk. 
    “You should do it directly” Thane said and she raised her brows in confusion. 
    Before she knew it,he shifted and the big gray and black wolf was standing on his four,right in front of her. 
    Genny shifted back,her heart almost leaving her for a second but she grew some coursge and moved closer again. 
    She knelt down beside him and tried rubbing his fur but Thorne moved away from her. 
    “Dear Thorne,I’m really sorry” She pouted and shifted closer again,this time he didn’t move away. 
    “I know I hurt you but…I was not even thinking when I said what I said,as you can see,I’m silly sometimes and….how could I have said you’re a monster? You look cute,really really cute. I wish I can touch your fur all day” she chuckled and started rubbing his head. 
    Thorne howled lowly and wagged his tail,Genny immediately smiled. 
    “Finally you’ve forgiven me? Thank you Thorne” She hugged him and he lick the side of her face,surprising her. 
    “Wow Thorne you are so……” 
    The wolf melted and turned back into Thane. 
    “So what?” He asked,twisting his neck a bit. 
    “I’m not done yet!!” Genny shouted. 
    “Oh wow..you expect me to stay quiet and watch him lick off your face?” Thane asked. 
    “It was a kiss,I guess” Genny mumbled and stood up. 
    “You want a kiss that bad?” Thane teased. 
    “Asking like you’re going to kiss me” She scoffed. 
    “Why do you sound angry about that?” Thane asked. 
    She took her lips in. 
    “Tell me” Thane said in a commanding voice. 
    “I…I..saw,Indigo’s neck once..you gave her hickeys” She mumbled and Thane raised his brows. 
    “Then??” He asked. 
    She swallowed. 
    ‘Gosh,I’m insane’ she said inwardly. 
    “I hate being kept in suspense,what do you want?” Thane asked. 
    “Then can you…..” She paused and removed her hair tie,letting her hair fall behind her and on her chest.

    Genny turned around on her bed tiredly,she sat up on the bed,crossing her legs while her eyes still remained close. 
    “Are you sleep walking right now?” Ondine asked,she was just coming out of the bathroom. 
    Juna laughed out,staring at Genny who was still struggling to open her eyes. 
    “What the heck,just sleep if you’re still sleepy,today is a free day anyway” Ondine said and they continue laughing at her. 
    “I’m hungry” Genny pouted like a child. 
    “Wow,such a baby” Juna chuckled. 
    Genny rubbed her eyes and opened them. 
    “I’m starving” She touched her tummy. 
    “If you’re starving,then go get a good wash and get dressed” Juna said. 
    “I’m tired” Genny groaned and fell back on the bed. 
    “Do you even know how you got to the room last night?” Ondine asked. 
    Genny’s eyes suddenly widened,how come that skipped her mind. The last thing she remembered was Thane appearing the moment she called his name and he dealt with the demons. 
    “What happened next?” She mumbled,trying to remember. 
    ‘Don’t you want something in return again?’ She remembered asking Thane that and then……
    “Ahhhghhhhh!!!!!!!!” Genny screamed and fell off the bed. 
    “What the heck!” Ondine and Juna shouted. 
    “No,I didn’t do that….I didn’t!!!” Genny broke into tears. 
    “What’s with her?” Ondine and Juna exchanged glances. 
    Genny sat down on the floor for about ten minutes,thinking and reminiscing on her action last night. 
    ‘So….he brought me here?’ She thought and looked up. 
    “How did I get here?” 
    “A guard brought you” Juna replied. 
    “Of course I know…He’s definitely mad at me for acting stupid again,I’m such a loser,always in trouble,how could I have done that?” She cried,roughing her hair. 
    “Excuse me mommy…what did you do exactly?” Ondine asked and Juna giggles. 
    “I was attacked by some demons on my way here last night….Thane saved me and I kissed him” Genny explained. 
    “What?!!!!” They exclaimed. 
    “I wasn’t thinking,I know” Genny wiped her tears and got up. 
    “At least I should eat first before thinking about my next punishment” She said as she walked into the bathroom. 
    “She’s funny” Juna chuckled.

    Thane finished dressing up and checked himself in the mirror,he pulled his hair bangs side ways gently,admiring his perfect face until his eyes fell on his lips and his brain flashed back straight to last night,in the rain…..
    “Fuck” Thane shook his head and made a cringe face. 
    The door opened and Orion walked in,Thane turned and their eyes met. 
    “You’re here” He muttered. 
    “Missed me?” Orion smiled. 
    “Why would I?” Thane asked and Orion’s smile disappeared. 
    “That’s mean,you really didn’t miss me?” He asked. 
    “You’re already stressing me dude” Thane muttered and Orion sighed. 
    “The maid told me you haven’t eaten yet,why?” He asked. 
    “Oh I was waiting for………” Thane stopped and Orion raised his brows. 
    “Me?” He asked. 
    “No” Thane snapped and Orion laughed. 
    “You were waiting for me,admit it,you missed me” He said and continue teasing him as they walked out of the room together. 
    Thane ignored him. 
    They both sat down to eat. 
    “So,do you feel good now?” Thane asked. 
    “Perfectly good to take another…..”
    “I might just kill you myself if you do that shit again” Thane snapped and he smiled. 
    “You don’t have to worry about me,as long as you don’t get hurt” Orion muttered. 
    “What’s going on here pups” Odessa came in. 
    Thane and Orion turned at once,her outfit caught their attention. 
    “Where to?” Thane asked. 
    “What do you mean where to?” Odessa frowned. 
    “You look good” Thane said and continue eating. 
    “I’ve always looked good,that’s an insult” Odessa snapped and appeared beside him. 
    “I came here because I don’t feel like eating in the hall this morning” She mumbled and started serving herself. 
    “Are you good now?” She asked Orion and he nodded. 
    “I’m glad then” She smiled. 
    “I’m thinking of going to the pack today,I have nothing to do here” Odessa said. 
    “Aren’t you supposed to be training someone?” Thane asked. 
    “Oh…that’s right but how did you know?” She looked at him. 
    Thane wiped the stain on her lips with an handkerchief. 
    “I overheard Casen” He muttered. 
    “I totally forgot about it….but I miss mom” She pouted. 
    “What’s my business with that?” Thane scoffed. 
    “Can’t you help me for today and tomorrow?…..”
    “Today and tomorrow? Are you crazy?” Thane snapped. 
    “Come on,you can just give her some books to read and….”
    “Books to read? What type of training is that?” Thane asked. 
    “She have to start from the foundation,she doesn’t even know a thing so,that’s why she needs some books” Odessa replied. 
    “I don’t deal with books,I just go straight to the point,I don’t know how to handle newbies like her,I might get mad If she’s too slow” Thane said and Odessa sighed. 
    “Orion how about you?” She asked. 
    Orion shook his head. 
    “I have just one focus in life…..Alpha Prince” He said. 
    “Stop it!!!” Odessa and Thane shouted and he laughed. 
    “I felt chills all over my body when you said that” Thane said. 
    “That’s my main reason for saying that” Orion muttered and Thane knocked him on the head. 
    “Ahh!” He shouted. 
    The three of them laughed and began eating again. 
    *
    Genny stood in front of Odessa with worried look on her face. 
    “That means….I won’t be able to do anything for two days” She mumbled,playing with her fingers. 
    “I’m sorry…I tried talking to my brother and his twin but they both refused to train you until I’m back.” Odessa said and Genny sighed. 
    “I don’t know if you can be able to convince Thane though,he doesn’t like training beginners like you,but if you try telling him that you will do a great work and cooperate,he might have a rethink” Odessa said. 
    “Really?” Genny asked and she nodded. 
    “Yeah…but he’s kind of hard to convince so…I don’t know…..”
    “I will try my best” Genny assured. 
    Odessa nodded and smiled. 
    “Then…good luck” She said and started walking. 
    Genny stood there,watching as two guards followed her. 
    “Hey sweet scent” Kymani called from the back and Genny turned with a frown. 
    “Stop it” She muttered. 
    “Wow…why do you always frown whenever you see me?” Kymani asked. 
    “First impression” Genny replied. 
    “So this is all because I took your pantie?” Kymani asked,trying not to laugh. 
    “Yes of course,only perverts act that way” She snapped. 
    “Fine….I’m sorry” Kymani said and Genny looked at him,almost shocked. 
    “I said I’m sorry,I mean it,for real” Kymani said,their eyes on each others and they stood there. 
    “Let me make it up to you” Kymani grabbed her hand. 
    “How?” She asked.
    “You will see…..let’s go” Kymani smiled. 
    “Don’t you dare try to hurt me…..”
    “I won’t do that” Kymani cut in and Genny followed him. 
    Thane was walking with Orion when they saw Kymani and Genny walking hand in hand. 
    Orion looked at Thane whose eyes already left them. 
    “What should we do today?” Orion asked. 
    “What do you want?” Thane asked him. 
    “Anything you Want” Orion replied and Thane sighed. 
    “Let’s do what you want” He muttered and Orion smiled. 
    “Howling contest…..”
    “Shhh” Thane glared at him and he laughed. 
    “Take it easy would you? What’s howling contest? You know how much I hate it” Thane scoffed. 
    “You wouldn’t have a choice once it’s full moon,you should start practicing now,maybe you might get to meet your mate in the next full moon” Orion said. 
    Thane faced him completely. 
    “I was expecting that…in the end,it was because of me you wanted to do that” He said and Orion was quiet. 
    “Let’s do what you always enjoy doing” Thane said and started walking. 
    “What’s that?” Orion followed him. 
    “Duel….Sword” Thane muttered. 
    “Really?!” Orion’s eyes brightened and Thane nodded. 
    *
    A RIVER SIDE*
    “Careful,don’t get hurt” Kymani said as they walked in between the rocks. And finally they could see the flowing river clearly. 
    “Wow,that’s pretty” Genny grinned. 
    “I told you” Kymani said. 
    They were both standing on a rock,the breeze blowing their hair. 
    “Your hair is long and pretty,why do you always pack it in a ugly way?” Kymani asked. 
    “Messy bun isn’t ugly” Genny said. 
    “Guys prefer your hair down…like this” Kymani muttered and removed her hair band. 
    “Stop!” She screamed and almost lost her balance. 
    Kymani immediately held her by the waist and they both appeared on the dry sand just beside the river. 
    “Wow” Genny whispered,then she realized Kymani was still holding her waist,she immediately pushed him away and moved back. 
    They both sat down on the ground,staring at the water flowing while enjoying the sound of it’s wave. 
    “Should I show you something?” Kymani asked and Genny looked at him. 
    “If you want” She muttered. 
    “Close your eyes” Kymani said. 
    “Okay” Genny rolled her eyes before covering them with her palms. 
    “Now open” Kymani said and she gently opened her eyes. 
    “Ahh!” She screamed and rushed to Kymani’s side which made him laugh. 
    “Where are we??” Genny asked,looking around. 
    The river disappeared and the atmosphere was filled with a radiant, ethereal glow,everywhere dissolve into a shimmering mist, revealing a stunning celestial landscape. The stars twinkle like diamonds against a velvety black sky, and a full moon glows with a soft, silver light.
    A delicate, crystal-like bridge materializes, stretching from the ground to a majestic, ancient tree with branches that seem to be crafted from silver and gold. 
    The air is filled with the sweet scent of exotic flowers, and the soft, enchanting music of a lyre drifts through the air, entrancing and mesmerizing. Kymani offers his hand, inviting her to step onto the bridge, which seems to be made of moonbeams and starlight.
    “What’s all these?” Genny asked,looking around. 
    They are now in the middle of the bridge,she looked down and below was covered with dews,she couldn’t see a thing,then she turned back to Kymani. 
    “I need an answer,where are you taking me?”
    “It’s just an illusion” Kymani chuckled and instantly everything disappeared,they are back sitting down beside the river. 
    “Wow” Genny exhaled loudly. 
    “My powers are amazing…right??” He asked her. 
    “Really” Genny clapped,smiling. 
    “You should spend more time with me then,I’m not that bad” Kymani said. 
    Genny chuckled. 
    “Maybe you’re not” She said and got up. 
    “Where are you going?” Kymani also stood up. 
    “I have something important to do,let’s go” She responded. 
    *
    3PM*
    “Wow! Beorn look at that!” Astrid made an excited remark,seeing a small group of adults dancing,it’s like they are having a party. 
    Beorn sighed out as she grabbed his hand,dragging him with her. 
    They’ve been going around now for about two hours but she doesn’t seem to be in haste to go back to the institute. 
    “Can we go somewhere else please? The noise is too much here” Beorn stopped walking and she faced him. 
    “Where should we go to? I’m having so much fun” She said. 
    “I’m hungry actually,should we find a good place to eat?” She asked. 
    Beorn nodded,but just as they started walking again,he felt someone in his head,connecting through the mind link. He stopped moving again and Astrid looked at him With confusion written on her face. 
    *Who?* Beorn asked. 
    *Where are you?* 
    Beorn smiled….it’s Sage. 
    *What,do you miss me?* He asked. 
    *Just come back,stop exergerating* Sage said and disconnected the link again. 
    “Are you okay? You suddenly stopped moving” Astrid said. 
    “I’m sorry but….let’s end it here,I’m going back” Beorn told her. 
    “Oh…..” Astrid bit her lips. 
    Beorn grabbed her hand and before she could blink,they appeared back in the middle of the school. 
    “Bye” Beorn said and sped off. 
    He entered their room,breathing heavily. 
    Sage raised his head from where he was laying on the bed and their eyes locked. 
    “That was fast” He muttered,dropping his head again. 
    “Don’t tell me it’s what I’m thinking” Beorn muttered. 
    “Don’t tell me you expect something else” Sage mumbled. 
    “Hey!” Beorn yelled. 
    Sage scoffed and sat up. 
    “So you weren’t planning to come back? It’s more than three hours already” He said. 
    “So? You missed me or not?” Beorn asked. 
    “I don’t” Sage muttered. 
    “I’m going back then” Beorn turned back. 
    “Close the door behind you” Sage fell back on the bed. 
    Beorn sighed out. 
    “You’re such a mood spoiler,then why did you call me that way?” 
    “I didn’t expect you to come back right away,was the outing boring?” Sage asked. 
    Beorn joined him on the bed. 
    “Move” Sage pushed him off the bed. 
    “Ouch!” Beorn groaned and got up,he sat down on his own bed and removed his shoes first. 
    “How was it? You had fun?” Sage asked. 
    “Honestly….I prefer staying here with you” Beorn muttered. 
    Sage smiled secretly. 
    “And now you’re pushing me away,,such an headache you are” Beorn muttered. 
    “Are you sleeping or pretending?” He asked when Sage didn’t say a word. 
    He got up and walked over to his bed to check him. 
    “Wow,you called me here to watch you sleep? Funny” He chuckled

    Maren was walking,humming a sound to herself. She suddenly caught a glimpse of Atticus walking on the other side,a smile escaped her lips,she raised her hand to wave. 
    “Atti……….” she almost screamed out his name when suddenly Ophelia joined him and they started walking together. 
    Maren’s hand dropped and her smile disappeared. 
    She saw Atticus beaming with smiles as he conversed with Ophelia. 
    “Why is he smiling that much?” She mumbled and walked away in fast pace. 
    *
    THANE’S QUARTERS*
    Thane entered the bedroom after hours of sword fighting with Orion,he took off his shirt at once. 
    *Hey brother* He heard Odessa through the mind link. 
    *You just got there?* He asked. 
    *Yeah,so see you in two days* Odessa said. 
    *Have you seen mother?* Thane asked. 
    *Not yet,heard there’s a meeting going on* 
    *Alright then,bye* Thane disconnected the link. 
    The door opened and Orion came in. 
    “Genny is here again” He said and Thane looked at him. 
    “What do you mean by again?” 
    “The guards told me this is her fourth time here asking for you” Orion replied and Thane frowned. 
    “Let her in” He said. 
    Orion went out and a minute later,Genny came in. 
    She quickly turned back when she saw Thane shirtless,he scoffed and went into the dressing room. He returned with another outfit. 
    “Why are you looking for me?” He asked and sat down,taking a stick of cigarette. 
    Genny faced him gently and walked over to him. 
    “Your ear ring” She dropped it on the bedside stool. 
    Thane scoffed and started smoking. 
    “Is that all?” He asked. 
    “Thanks…..for last night” She bowed. 
    “And??” Thane asked and she raised her head,their eyes met.
    ‘And?? Is he asking about the kiss? Why I kissed him?’ Genny thought inwardly and Thane crossed his legs. 
    “I can hear you” He muttered and Genny’s eyes widened. 
    “You can….read my mind?” She stuttered. 
    “Forget about that,why are you here?” Thane asked. 
    “Can you train me?” Genny asked immediately. 
    “No” Thane said. 
    She fell on her knees. 
    “Please,I promise to do well,I won’t…..”
    “No,leave” Thane cut her off. 
    “Just for two days……please” 
    Thane sighed and dropped his cigarettes into the ashtray. 
    “How am I supposed to do it? I heard you don’t even know what you are…..”
    “I can read people’s mind,and I have sharp hearing ability too” Genny spoke up and Thane raised his brows. 
    “You can read minds?” He asked and Genny nodded. 
    “Try reading mine then” He said. 
    Genny swallowed and looked at him,,she tried to hear what he was thinking as their eyes pierced into each other but it was all blank. 
    “I…can’t hear anything” She mumbled and bit her bottom lip. 
    “So you really think…you can read my mind?” Thane asked and scoffed. 
    “Try something else” He said. 
    There was silence. 
    “Someone’s coming” Thane suddenly said. 
    “In about two minutes,the person would be here….try catching the scent and tell me who it is…let’s see if you can do that” He said.
    Genny blinked abd looked at him. 
    “But…..I can’t…..I….”
    “Then leave…..”
    “No! I will do it!” Genny said. 
    “Then do it” Thane scoffed and stood up,he leaned against the wall,his eyes on Genny whose eyes was already closed,trying to concentrate. 
    She suddenly snapped her eyes open 
    “I got the scent!” She said with wide eyes and shock and walked over to him. 
    “It’s….Indigo” She muttered. 
    Thane said nothing…thirty seconds later,the door opened and they both turned to look at the person who entered. 
    Indigo came in.
    “I did it!!!!!” Genny screamed and without thinking,she jumped on Thane and hugged him. 
    Indigo’s eyes widened. 
    “How dare you!” She screamed angrily and teleported,she appeared close to them and pushed Genny away from Thane and slapped her on the face,a loud one. 
    “Ahh!” Genny touched her cheek which turned red immediately,her eyes met with Thane,he was looking at her too,with blank expression on his face. 
    Genny looked away from him and the second her eyes moved to Indigo,she raised her hand and threw a spicy slap on her face,sounding loudly across the room.. 
    Indigo’s eyes widened,she wasn’t expecting it. 
    “Who do you think you are to slap me!!” Genny yelled.
    “You bitch!!” Indigo screamed and almost used her power on her. 
    “Don’t do that here” Thane spoke up. 
    “You saw what she did!!” Indigo screamed. 
    “You slapped me first!!” Genny also shouted. 
    “Leave” Thane muttered,not facing anyone in particular. 
    “Genny looked at him,as if expecting him to mention name”
    “You heard him,get out!” Indigo shouted at her. 
    Genny took her lips in,she picked up her jacket on the floor and started leaving. 
    “Not you” Thane spoke up again and she stopped. 
    Indigo looked at Thane. 
    “You can’t chase me out for her…..”
    “Get out!!!” Thane yelled. 
    Genny froze,she stared as Indigo blinked out tears and stormed out of the room. 
    A smile appeared on her lips.

    She swallowed hard,looking at him,his eyes also on her as if expecting her to make a move already. 
    Thane crossed his arms in between the silence,He’s not the type to repeat his words. 
    “I’m…..I….I’m sorry but….I can’t” Genny stuttered,expecting the worst.
    “Okay” Thane muttered and her eyes grew wide,okay? Just like that??
    “Okay?? I can leave?” She asked. 
    Thane nodded. 
    “Thank you!” Genny said excitedly and immediately rushed out.
    Thane scoffs,he saw his cigarette pack and lighter on the table,he opened his palm and they appeared on it. He was about lighting up a stick when the door opened and Odessa came in. 
    “Not this morning brother” She shook her head,the cigarettes and lighter vanished from Thane’s hand and appeared on hers. She put them in the pocket of her shorts before going closer. 
    “What do you want” Thane asked and stood up. 
    “I missed you” Odessa pouted and went to hug him. 
    Thane’s eyes rolled. 
    “Hey,hug me back if you want peace this morning” She threatened. 
    Thane wrapped his arms around her waist right away. 
    “I saw a girl coming out of here…the new girl” Odessa said as they broke the hug,they went into the bedroom together. 
    “Did something happened? Why was she here?” Odessa asked. 
    Thane slides his hands into his pocket and walked to the window,staring at the sky that was getting bright already. 
    “Come on….tell me” Odessa said and sat down. 
    “What is she?” Thane faced her. 
    “I can’t get her scent well yet…but judging from last night and this morning…..she might be a witch” Odessa replied. 
    “Did she step on your toe?” She asked. 
    “Never mind” Thane sighed out. 
    “Orion told me you might be visiting the pack today,is something going on?” 
    “I have something to discuss with father,it’s nothing serious,don’t bother about it” He answered. 
    *
    DINNING HALL*
    “What? You mean you told him you can’t do it?” Ondine asked as they sat down after getting their breakfast. 
    “Of course,am I supposed to strip for him?” Genny asked. 
    “Then…what did he say next?” Juna asked curiously. 
    “He said okay…and that I can leave” Genny replied,eating a full spoonful of rice. 
    Ondine and Juna exchanged glances and groaned,they dropped the spoons and looked at her pitifully. 
    “What’s wrong?” Genny asked. 
    “You’re simply….greatly in trouble Genny” Ondine said. 
    “But…..why?? He…told me to leave….”
    “You shouldn’t have said no in the first place” Juna cut in. 
    “You mean,I should have stripped for him?” Genny asked in shock. 
    “I’m sure Thane would have changed his mind if you obeyed,I’ve never heard anyone saying Thane took advantage of them” Ondine said and Genny swallowed. 
    “Fine…and what’s going to happen now?” She asked. 
    “I don’t know…but If you really disrespected his order,you’re in trouble for real” Juna replied but Genny was still confused. 
    If he wasn’t satisfied with her response,why did he let her go?
    “He should have at least yell or something……”
    “Thane? Yell at you? Delusional,if Thane yell at you that means you’ve gotten to the edge,once he use his dominant voice,even the masters will bow,he can kill anyone that moment and nothing will happen”Ondine said and Genny’s spoon fell from her hand. 
    “K….ki….kill?” She stammered. 
    They nodded. 
    “But Thane isn’t the type who misuse his powers,that’s why everybody love and respect him,just don’t touch him” Juna said. 
    “Genny,the point here is…He won’t force you…but trust me you’re gonna beg him to let you strip…soon” Ondine said and Genny froze. 
    “But don’t think about it,just eat and get ready for class,I have four classes today” Juna said. 
    “We have” Ondine corrected. 
    “How are the classes taken?” Genny asked curiously. 
    “We have rank A to D” Juna replied. 
    “What does that mean?” 
    “The students are graded according to how powerful they are and how they can control their powers. Grade D is for people like you who are new here,you don’t really know what your abilities are,how to use them or control them…they will teach you from the beginning. Then grade C are those who can do one of two things with their powers now,they are in control of it and can be helpful one way of the other. Grade B are the sharp shooters,the people who have been trained so well and sometimes they get involved in wars and fights in between packs,in a word,they are the ones you shouldn’t mess with. Then finally we have grade A…those ones are naturally gifted,they are invisible,their powers are triples of what grade B might possess” Ondine explained and Genny nodded. 
    “So…what grade are you guys?” She asked. 
    “Grade C…but the master said we might be able to move to B soon,I seriously can’t wait” Juna smiled and her eyes fell on the water jug across the hall,he stretched out her hand and began controlling it,the jug left the table and started moving,Genny gasped until the jug landed on their table. 
    “Wow! That’s awesome” She said. 
    “Not yet,if it was people in grade B or A,they don’t have to use their hand,their minds can control anything” Ondine said,using her mind to control the jug again on the table. 
    The jug kept moving and dancing on the table but she was unable to raise it up.
    “Oh fuck” Ondine breathe out loudly. 
    “And also,you have to be careful not to get exhausted,if you use your powers more than you should,you get tired and sometimes get sick,there are some soldiers who even die when they cross their limits” Buna explained. 
    “Then what about Odessa and Indigo?” Genny asked. 
    “Rank A,reason why….you should avoid them” Ondine whispered. 
    “But even In rank A…Indigo and Odessa can’t match up with Kymani and Thane…Orion too” 
    “So who’s the most powerful?” Genny was curious. 
    “Isn’t it obvious?” Juna asked and she blinked. 
    “Thane?” 
    “Correct…After Thane,Orion should come next I guess….followed by Kymani,Odessa,Zarek then Indigo. They are the only ones in rank A class,Thane and Orion hardly attend classes though” Ondine muttered. 
    Genny sighed out,wondering if she will be able to meet up in even D,she doesn’t even know anything yet. 
    “Do you have your class schedules?” Juna asked and she shook her head. 
    Just then,Atticus came over to them. 
    “Hi Atti” Juna waved with a smile. 
    “Morning Juna” Atticus returned the smile and adjusted his glasses before facing Genny. 
    “Genevieve Douglas right?” He asked. 
    “Yeah”
    “Come with me,your first class starts soon” Atticus said and Genny immediately got up. 
    “Bye Genny,see you later” Ondine and Juna waved at her and she followed Atticus. 
    Genny was nervous as she walked beside him,he seems like the serious type,He’s no way looking like one who have all those abilities Ondine and Juna told her about. 
    He stopped in front of a class and looked at her. 
    “Go in…and here is your class schedules for a week,it’s new every week so expect next one in seven days” He explained. 
    “Thank you” Genny smiled and took it from him before going into the class,it was quiet,seems like the students there are still as confused and lost as she is.  
    She found somewhere to seat and soon the master came in.

    KYMANI’S ROOM*
    “Ohhh”
    “Fúck Kymani!”
    “Right there….ahh…yes…”
    The girl moaned loudly as Kymani pounded her from the back,her palms against the wall,screaming out for more. 
    Kymani groaned in pleasure after satisfying his sexual cravings,he pulled out his díck from inside her,she tried turning but he pinned her back to the wall. 
    “We are not done here” He whispered and the girl’s eyes widened. 
    “What….are you talking about?” She asked. 
    Kymani smiled crankily and his canine teeth came out,looking shiny and sharp.
    “Kymani…..”
    Without thinking twice,he sank them straight into her neck,biting her hard,sucking off her blood. 
    “Ahhhhh!!!” She screamed,but none of those had any effect on him,until he’s satisfied. 
    By the time he was done,the girl fell on the floor tiredly. 
    Kymani let out his usual evil fake smile and used his thumb to wipe the blood stain on his lips. 
    He got dressed and squatted in front of the girl,he healed up the bite scar on her neck and erased her memory. 
    “Were you ever here?” He asked in a manipulative voice,his eyes piercing into her own. 
    “No…I was in my room all day” The girl replied and he smiled. 
    “Good girl…now leave” 
    The girl dressed up and walked out of the room. 
    *
    Thane and Orion walked out of his quarters together and met Master Casen also coming toward them.
    “Your highness” He bowed and Thane nods gently before he continue walking. 
    “Morning” Orion said to Master Casen before following Thane. 
    “How are we going? Taking the car?” Orion asked. 
    “No” Thane replied. 
    “Then…….” They both exchanged glances and smiled. 
    Thane and Orion burst into a sprint run, their human feet pounding the ground in unison. As they ran, their bodies began to shift and contort, muscles stretching and bones reforming. 
    Fur burst forth from their skin, and their senses heightened. In mid-stride, they transformed into their wolf forms, their paws barely missing a beat as they continued their fluid motion. Thane wolf form,Thorne,mixture of grey and white,looking bigger compared to Lykan,Orion’s wolf,a complete black coloured fur wolf. 
    Together, the two wolves raced through the woods, their paws barely touching the ground. Thane’s gray coat glistened in the dappled sunlight, while Orion’s black fur blended with the shadows. With effortless grace, they traversed the forest toward their destination. 
    *
    HOURS LATER*
    Genny walked out of the class and yawned,she was feeling hungry and sleepy,for almost four hours she was in that class,learning about different powers and abilities,it was more interesting and fun than she imagined. 
    “I’m so hungry” She mumbled and started walking,hoping to meet Ondine and Juna. 
    “Hey” A girl called and she turned,she immediately recognized her,Kalysta,the psycho who love testing her powers. 
    “Hi” Genny smiled. 
    Kalysta streatched out a red apple to her and Genny looked at her. 
    “For you,aren’t you the new girl?” Kakysta asked. 
    “Oh,yes I am” Genny muttered. 
    “You can have it” Kalysta said. 
    “Thanks” Genny was about taking the apple when suddenly someone kicked the apple off Kalysta hand and her eyes widened. 
    Genny turned to see Odessa glaring at Kalysta. 
    “I warned you didn’t I?” She asked. 
    Kalysta said nothing. 
    “Next time I see you,prepare for the worst” Odessa threatened.
    “Leave” 
    Kalysta immediately walked way,but Genny was still confused. 
    “What…was that?” She asked and Odessa glanced at her. 
    She let out a pretty smile and run her fingers through her hair,she’s the definition of beauty,with her sharp eyes. 
    “That apple was poisoned” She said and Genny gasped. 
    “Why would she give me that!” 
    “She have the ability to make poisonous venom to attack demons and enemies,but she’s quite..you..know,unstable,,she was going to check if you die after eating the apple” Odessa explained and Genny couldn’t believe her ears. 
    “Thank you” She said and immediately walked away. 
    Indigo came over to Odessa with a frown. 
    “Isn’t that…the bitch from last night?” She asked. 
    “She’s quite cool,told you she’s new here,she’s still naive,just let her be” Odessa said and Indigo scoffed. 
    “Let’s go” Odessa grabbed her hand and they both walked away. 
    Meanwhile as Genny passed through the hallway which suddenly got silent,just a snap of an eye,she saw it….the same python from the morning,slithering toward her. 
    “Ahh!!!!!!!!!!” Genny screamed out in terror,she tried to run but it was as if her legs were tied to the ground,she couldn’t move. 
    “No!! Noooo!!!” She continue screaming,tears rushing down her face. 
    Again,there was a snap and the python disappeared. Genny fell on the ground,breathing heavily,she felt so weak. She swallowed hard and managed to get up,her legs were shaking as she walked. 
    *
    “Thane’s work…obviously” Ondine and Juna said in unison after Genny told them what happened. 
    “It was so scary,I don’t want to experience that again” She shook her head,in bitter tears. 
    “Go apologize to him” Juna said. 
    “That’s the only solution,or you keep on seeing that” Ondine agreed. 
    Genny swallowed and fell on her bed,she hugged her pillow to herself. 
    Ondine and Juna sighed out. 
    *
    NIGHT TIME, DINNING HALL*
    Lila and Luna walked over to Ondine and Juna,they are alome,Genny refused to leave the room. 
    “Hey girls” They both said at a time. 
    “Hi” Ondine smiled,staring at them as they sat down with their food trays. 
    “What about your new friend?” Lila and Luna asked again. 
    “Oh she’s not here,she’s in the room” Juna replied. 
    “Why? I wanted to say hi” Luna and Lila said. 
    “Maybe next time” Ondine chuckled. 
    “Hey!!! Are you insane!!” Astrid yelled at a girl who poured water on her by mistake. 
    “Do you want to witness a quick death?!” She yelled again. 
    The girl immediately fell on her knees,she was shaking,obviously a new student,she brought out handkerchief to help her with it. 
    “Get lost” Astrid snapped and walked away to another booth. 
    “Sorry about that,be careful next time. ” Ophelia said to the girl before going to join Astrid who was still looking angry. 
    “Astrid and her anger issues” Ondine shook her head. 
    “Very silly” Lila and Luna said and Juna laughed. 
    Maren walked into the hall,hugging her spell book with one hand,her long hair flowing behind her,her small eyes roaming round the hall till they fell on Atticus eating alone. 
    She walked over to him and sat down next to him. 
    “What is it?” Atticus asked,wondering why she’s sitting with him. 
    “I don’t know if I’m wrong but my instinct are never wrong…I can smell dark energies in the institute right now” She said. 
    Atticus adjusted his glasses and raised his brows. 
    “So…why are you telling me?” He asked. 
    “Because you’re the only one I feel like talking to right now and you should be able to feel something strange too” she said. 
    Atticus sighed and tried to feel whatever she’s talking about but nothing. 
    “Maybe your instinct is wrong this time around” He muttered. 
    “I hope so” Maren said and stood up,she walked away. 
    Sage and Beorn walked in together closely beside each other,a guy suddenly grabbed Beorn’s hand. 
    “Dude join us” 
    Sage throw the guy’s hand off with a glare. 
    “We can join them….” Beorn tried saying. 
    “I don’t want to” Sage muttered. 
    Beorn chuckled and shook his head,they sat down alone at the end of the hall,,their food was brought by the servers. 
    *
    GENNY’S ROOM*
    Genny just finished dressing up,she really wanted to skip dinner but suddenly the hunger grew wilder and she had no choice,she put on her shoes,ready to go out of the room when suddenly she heard the same snap. 
    Her heart beats doubled and again the python appeared. 
    Genny screamed and ran,this time she could run out but looking back,the python was really chasing her this time around. 
    She was crying and screaming but nobody came to her aid,as if her screams aren’t loud enough. Suddenly she bumped into Kymani who held her so she won’t fall. 
    “Help…..help” She mumbled faintly. 
    After about two minutes,she got herself back and moved back. 
    Kymani smiled. 
    “You want my help?” He asked. 
    “Can you help me? That python….can you get rid of it for me completely?” She asked,wiping her tears. 
    Kymani took two steps closer to her. 
    “If I do that….what will be my gain?” He whispered into her ear and Genny swallowed. 
    “You want something too?” She asked. 
    “Why should I help you if I won’t get anything in return?” He asked. 
    “What do you want?” Genny asked,maybe his request might be better than Thane’s. 
    Kymani caged her to the wall,staring at her closely. 
    “I’m going to fuck you” He said. 
    Genny immediately pushed him off. 
    “Go away!! You’re worse!” She cried and left. 
    She walked straight to Thane’s quarter,she was told by one of the guards standing outside about his absence,she decided to wait anyway,who knows what might happen once she starts walking back. 
    It was about an hour after when Thane arrived. 
    Genny immediately got up from where she was sitting,their eyes met,Thane gave her an icy look before going in,ignoring her presence. 
    Genny ran in with him. 
    “Can you hear me out please? I’m sorry for disrespecting……” She stopped when Thane entered the bedroom and closed the door loudly. 
    She sat down in front of the door,tears rolling down her eyes which she wiped immediately. 
    *
    Thane just finished getting dressed after his bath when the door opened and Orion entered. 
    “She’s still there” He said. 
    Thane said nothing. 
    Genny started knocking the door again. 
    “Fine!! I’m going to do what you want!!” She said loudly. 
    Orion looked at Thane. 
    “Let her in” He muttered. 
    Orion went out and seconds later,Genny walked in slowly,her eyes on Thane. 
    Thane sat down on the bed,he crossed his legs as usual,he got his cigarette and light it up before looking at Genny as she stood in front of him. 
    “You may start” He ordered,puffing out the smoke. 
    Genny swallowed,she began to unbutton her shirt,in tears.
