I quickly rushed and placed my ears on the door.

“what is it “I heard Liam ask Rio sternly

“it’s Mavin ,he wants to see you ” Rio replied

My heart dropped instantly.

what connection dose Liam has with Mavin ??

Following Liam right now and trying to listen to their conversation is a bad idea,I’m definitely going to be caught

Mavin is the one who tried to kill me , which Liam is fully aware of

why would he have anything to do with him ?

there are several questions I need answers to

I brought out my phone and began searching on the logo I saw at Mavin’s apartment

Liam Pov

Phone Conversation

“what do you want Mavin” I asked

“I was hoping we could have this conversation face to face”he replied

“you know very well ,you won’t live more than a second when I see you”I replied sternly

“hold up lover boy”he said in a mockery tone

“what do you want Mavin “I asked this time in a more serious tone

“I want you to tell Daisy all she needs to know else i will do it myself “he said

“so you’re now threatening me”I replied with a chuckle

“you only have 24hours to tell her else I’m doing it myself”he said

“Let’s see if she still want to be with you by then ,and you know the implications if I tell her myself”he added

“that’s if you’re still alive by then”I said

“I would love to see you try “he said laughing

“the clock is ticking lover boy”he added before ending the call

I threw the phone angrily and it shattered into pieces

How on earth am I going to tell Daisy all this

where to I actually start from

“Liam …Liam ” Rio called loudly

“I think we found Daisy’s Dad”Rio said

“where is he”I asked

“he is at an apartment not too far from here” he replied

“wait,are you thinking what I’m thinking”I asked Rio and his eyes widened

“Anna “we both muttered the same time

He quickly picked our guns and other things we might need rushing out

He can’t lay his hands on her.

we entered the car and drove straight to the apartment

“Dose the tracker still point him here ” I asked Rio and he nodded

He parked out car few blocks away from the apartment and walked there

On reaching the apartment we hide behind the flowers and watched closely

we do not want to pull up loudly and create a sin

A few moments later he walked towards the bed room window with a brick in his hands and threw it at the window making it shatter into pieces

I still watched him closely.

He was about to climb in when I signaled Rio

I guess he already felt our presence , before Rio could reach him,the ran away instead

“It’s time to make her move”I said to Rio and he nodded

Returning back to the apartment ,the first thing I did was to put all call across Mr Scott to make sure they moved to another city the following day

I can’t lose Daisy and her sister the same day ,Daisy would kill me

All the things I did was for her safety and that of Anna’s

Thinking of telling Daisy about her painful past makes my heart ache and I only have 23hours left.

The ride back to the apartment was a really quiet and awkward one

I stared outside the window and couldn’t talk or even think of anything

Everything was just so confusing and spinning

My head was all over the place and I couldn’t make anything out of the situation

I could feel Ciara’s gaze on me on several occasions

what the hell is happening to me

we reached the apartment and both came out

“what did you see”I asked with no emotion on my voice

“I didn’t see anyone ,I only heard a car sound that’s why I asked us to leave”she replied

“what about you what did you find “she asked

“I didn’t really get anything useful ,I was going through her things before you came in”I replied avoiding her gaze

I know Ciara really well and it’s more than obvious she’s lying to me

it’s written on her face and the way her eyes where looking everywhere apart from me as she talks

I really need answers and I know exactly where to get them .

LIAM

I sat down in Liam’s room on his bed with the lights turned off waiting for him

I couldn’t sleep even if I tried to

My sister’s face was everywhere and anytime I closed my eyes

The door opened and Liam turned on the lights

“you’re still awake”he asked

“I couldn’t sleep” I replied

He pulled off his pants and t-shirt and lay beside me

“I want to go back to the States “I said plainly and he turned to me

“why , what do you want to do there “he asked

“I want to go see the grave of my sister “I replied and was quite

Maybe I really need to go back and fix my things

I know I’m not hallucinating on this one,that was Anna’s bracelet

My plans are to go back to that hospital and find out what really happened when I left

Rio once told me that Liam took care of everything that I shouldn’t worry my sister was laid to rest in a nice place

Days passed and I was sitting down staring out the airplane widows and looking at the clouds

I would have been scared but I wasn’t because my attention wasn’t really there ,I was going back to where my life was messed up

back to a place of only painful memories

The plane landed and our things were carried to the car that was waiting for us

only to hear her cracking voice like someone crying for hours

I stared at Liam ad his jaw tensed

His eyes grew cold by the second and his fist tightened

“Why didn’t you tell me earlier”he asked coldly

“why didn’t you tell me earlier”he yelled and I flinched

His eyes soften when he noticed I moved away from him scared

“you should have just told me I would have handled it”he said softly

“I was scared “I replied back

“is there anything else you want to tell me”he asked

I swallowed the lump in my throat as I shook my hair

I was lying and he knew I was lying I didn’t want to tell him about Anna yet

I knew Mavin have a connection with Anna and I don’t know how but I’m going to find out

What if Liam had a hand in all this that’s why he ordered me to come to Mexico without even mourning my sister

And popcorn with other of my favorite snacks dropped on top the bed

it’s looks like a cinema a really romantic one at that

we sat down on the bed and began eating as the movie went on

This is the best date ever.

The movie ended with Liam and I laughing loudly

How many surprise am I getting in just one day

I was shocked to see Liam punching Mavin

Liam”I called disappointedly

Mavin held his cheeks that’s is swollen

” I don’t know why he doesn’t like me,I only went to ask him about you ” he said making Liam scoff

I helped him up and stared at him

“are you okay”I asked and he nodded

“I’m really sorry “I said and he nodded

“what are you doing here by the way”I asked

“I came around so when I saw him,I decided to ask him about you but it didn’t end well “he explained

“so how are you”he asked

“I’m fine “I replied back

“you’ve met Ciara already”I said pointing at Ciara and he nodded

she waved him , making him smile ,I saw Liam still standing with a cold expression on his face

I opened my eyes to an unfamiliar environment

Events of Last night filled my head as I turned around

Mavin was sleeping beside me peacefully ,we slept off while watching another movie and talking about random stuff

Sh*t i didn’t tell Ciara that I will be sleeping over she must be worried sick

well I didn’t plan to sleep off,I wonder why Mavin didn’t wake me up.

I picked up my phone and noticed my wallpaper was changed

it was a picture of where I lay my head on Mavin’s body

The picture looked kinda cute so I didn’t remove it

There was so miscall so I dropped the phone back

“Good morning”Mavin greeted

“morning”I replied back smiling

“you should have waked me up you know”I said

“you were sleeping peacefully I didn’t want to wake you up” he replied

“and your friend called my ears nearly bleed from her yelling ” he said dramatically making me laugh

“and a grumpy guy called too”he added

By the mention of grumpy I know it’s Liam

“where’s the bathroom”I asked and he directed me upstairs

“you should take a shower”Mavin offered

“do I stink that bad “I asked and he laughed loudly

“c’mon “

“i don’t want to shower and still wear this same clothes “I pouted

“you can borrow some of mine “he offered shyly

I have like new toothbrush and stuffs there you can use anyone you want”he added leaving the room

I use the new toothbrush there ,for my hair I used his shampoo and conditioner which smelled manly

I used his body wash too

Right now I totally smell like him which is good .

I came out of the bathroom and saw a neatly folded t-shirt and shorts on the bed

they were really big for me but very comfortable

I made my way downstairs when I heard Mavin on the phone

“Mavin “I called and he quickly ended the call turning to me

I wanted to ask him who his talking about but I don’t want to invade his privacy

We were half way done with breakfast when my phone started ringing

“ohh it’s him calling”I said to Ciara but loud enough for Liam to hear

I picked the call and rushed upstairs

“okay , anytime I can collect it”I said

“alright”he replied and ended the call

well that was awkward

I relaxed on my bed and few minutes later the door opened and Liam walked it

He moved closer staring into my eyes, he tried to kiss me but I push him away walking out of the room .

The drive back to the apartment was quite but not awkward

I noticed Mavin was lost in thought ,I wonder what’s going on in his mind.

“last night till this morning was one of the best moments of my life “he said and I could see sincerity in his eyes

I smiled widely as he kissed my cheeks and I bade him .

“Good morning everyone”I squeaked exictedly as they all turned to me

Rio was shocked

“his so caring and romantic”I said like a teenager in love

I heard Liam scoff but I didn’t look at him

Wearing Mavin’s Clothes was my first achievement

acting like I was in love with him,was my second achievement

ignoring him is my third achievement .

Two can play the game,he can’t just treat me like a tool

We were half way done with breakfast when my phone started ringing

“ohh it’s him calling”I said to Ciara but loud enough for Liam to hear

I picked the call and rushed upstairs

“you forgot your handbag “Mavin

“okay , anytime I can collect it”I said

“alright”he replied and ended the call

well that was awkward

I relaxed on my bed and few minutes later the door opened and Liam walked it

“there is something called knocking “I fired

“what game are you trying to play”he asked

“I don’t understand”I replied clueless

“the whole Mavin thing”he fired and I blushed

“His really cool”I said and felt his knuckles turn white

He moved closer staring into my eyes, he tried to kiss me but I push him away walking out of the room .

My heart was pounding but I felt victorious,I couldn’t help but smile.

sweet revenge .

Everyone was gathered around looking at me in awe including Liam

But Liam held a different expression entirely “cold”

I looked at Dani bloody face and my heart sank

I grabbed my things and ran out of the warehouse.

I don’t know for how long I’ve been walking and I really don’t know where I’m going

My legs were already hurting like crazy.

I felt the cool breeze hit my face and it was kinda relaxing

The breeze made me feel relaxed ,I really needed it

I felt pity for Dani because her face is going to be messed up for a long time

And Ciara I’m sure she will be really worried about me

Something started vibrating in my pocket ,I almost forgot I have a phone

I brought it out and saw the caller ID is Ciara

I didn’t even know I have her contact ,I’m sure Liam put his and that of Rio too

“Hi”I said

“omg ,are you okay, where are you ,I’m worried sick “Ciara said worriedly

“I’m okay I just needed some minutes alone”I replied her

“okay I understand call me if you need a ride okay”she said

“I will”I replied and ended the call

I entered a cafe eat something since I have a few bucks with me

I sat down when I noticed a familiar person walked in

“Mavin”I called smiling and his face lit up immediately he saw me

“what are you doing here “he asked

“I just passed by decided to get something “I replied back

“ohh great my company isn’t far from here so I come here frequently”he said to me and I nodded

“About the other day ,I came by but I wasn’t allowed in “he said and my eyes widened

“yeah I waited for hours ,the guards told me strangers are not allowed in and I didn’t have your number to call you ” he said carefully staring at me

” I’m sorry about that ,you know it’s just for security purpose”I replied hoping he would understand

“yeah I understand ,thank God I met you here”he said giving me a warm smile

“yeah and I got a phone too , you can put your number on it so we could talk anytime you want”I said handing him my phone

“what the hell happened to you ” he half yelled grabbing my hands

I almost forgot I had bruises on hands

“it’s nothing much I just scratched my hands against something “I replied and he looked at me

He knew I was lying ,Mavin has know me for long and he reads me like a book

“Daisy if there is anything at all,I mean anything you need , anything you want ,if you need someone to talk to I’m always here “he said and I nodded

“if you need somewhere to stay, a job “just call me okay”he added

“And I know you’re lying to me but I won’t pressure you into telling me anything , wherever you’re ready I’m here to listen”he said

So here is the reason why I’ve always liked Mavin his so caring and understanding

“thanks Mavin ” I replied and he smiled

Mavin and I talked for hours and I laughed really hard forgetting my problem

“are you sure you’re not going to get scolded by your boss”I said and he chuckled

“I’m the boss “he said proudly

“Alright I’ll see you some other time “he said as we reached the house

“yeah “I replied back.

“it is not happening again ,this time we are going to take the guards with us and just enjoy our life and get wasted “she said

Right now we were both ready and looked really hot

I saw Liam sitting down in the sitting room and I felt nervous

His eyes landed on me and I stared at me feet

why is he looking at me that way and why am I feeling so so nervous like this

“No need to get all angry ,we are having a girl’s night and we are taking the guards along “Ciara said

“I’m coming too”Liam said coldly
