“You really can’t wait any longer, she’s going to die!” Cheryl snapped. At that moment, Kitty grabbed Ace’s hand tightly.
The pain was becoming unbearable, at that moment she was pleading for death already.
“A…ace pl..please help ….. Me” She muttered in tears, Ace placed her on the floor and looked at Cheryl.
She quickly moved to Kitty. As soon as she found a vein in Kitty’s hand, she injected her.
Immediately it entered her system, the pain subsided and the bleeding stopped abruptly. Her breathing became steady.
Ace quickly picked her up in his arms and left. Cheryl followed.
Ace took her outside and placed her in the back seat, Cheryl entered, Ace moved to the driver’s seat and sped off.

~HOSPITAL~
As they reached the hospital, Ace turned off the engine and carried Kitty out in his arms. She was already unconscious.
He took her into the hospital and looked around, a group of nurses were already approaching him with a stretcher.
He placed her on it and she was taken away.
“Make sure she’s fine and no one is allowed to go near her, except the doctors and nurses” He said and Cheryl nodded then she went after Kitty.

~SPITTING VIPERS CLAN~
Everywhere was already in chaos. Ace gave an order that Amber and Molly should be found before he gets home or he’ll punish everyone and no one wants that.
The last time Ace punished all the mobsters, they were made to do five hundred push-ups and those that couldn’t do it were beaten up and thrown out.
The clan was still in utter chaos as everyone was on the look out for Amber and Molly. They searched every nook and cranny but no luck yet.
Starr was holding his gun firmly as he walked into the kitchen, some mobsters had said they already checked but he just has this gut feeling.
He checked around and was about to give up when he heard a faint breath underneath him. He looked down and squinted, they can’t possibly be under?
He squat down and touched the tiles floor that’s when he realized it was made of wood. He used his palm to feel around until he found a small button which he pulled and immediately a small human sized door opened.
He quickly left and got some of the other mobsters, when the returned, they went through the door.
It was an underground tunnel, it was really big and wide. After some minutes of searching they found Amber and Molly hiding at a corner.
They were dragged out.

When Ace returned he went straight to the tortue room where Amber and Molly were tied.
As soon as he got there, he picked up a gun and shot Molly in the stomach, repeatedly until there were holes everywhere.
“Stop!! You devil!!!!” Amber yelled in tears but she couldn’t move, her hands and legs were tied to a chair.
Ace dropped the gun and picked up and iron wip, with thorns around it. He used it on Amber and she screamed loudly as it brutally disfigured her face.
“Why?” He asked and Amber remained quiet.
“Why the f+ck did you poison her?! Why are you after her?!!” He yelled and Amber smiled, bitterly.
“You want to know? Her parent killed my parents and locked me up in a basement! All because the were greedy! My dad and Kitty’s dad were business partners and my dad found out that the company’s money always goes missing. He did his investigation and found out that her dad was the one stealing from the company. When he tried to talk to him, they got into a fight and Kitty’s dad pushed my dad down the window!! He fell from from a fifteen story building! My mom and I saw everything, he killed my mom too and took me away, he made everything look like an accident” Amber cried.
Ace expression remained the same, he then leaned next to her and smirked.
“What a pity but that doesn’t give you the right to touch my little kitten! She didn’t do anything to you” Ace said.
“I also didn’t do anything but I was punished and locked in a basement for so long!!!” Amber yelled.
“Don’t stop until I give you orders” Ace instructed, giving one of his men the wip. In the next second, her scream rented the air.
Ace left.

As Ace walked into the hospital, he could literally hear his own heart beating so fast. What if something happens to her? No, he can’t lose her, he’ll die, he’ll definitely die.
As he walked nearer to the ward, he could already see Alicia and Snow standing outside. Snow was in tears, which only made him more scared.
Alicia had to cancel the meeting with her dad when she heard what happened to kitty and she rushed to the hospital.
“Is she fine?” He asked, his tone low.
“I don’t know, the doctor haven’t said anything” Alicia replied and Ace nodded, slowly.
He leaned on the wall and shut his eyes tight as he hoped for the best, it’s all his fault. He couldn’t protect her, he promised her he could never let her cry but he broke the promise so easily.
If anything happens to her, he’ll kill Amber and everybody else so they can have their reunion in the afterlife, he can’t let her be alone there.
About five hours later, the doctor came out of the ward, everybody waited in anticipation for his report.
“She’s out of danger, it was good that she was given the antidote on time, it neutralized the effect of the poison so we just flushed it out of her system. Right now, she’s completely fine” The doctor said.
Ace sighed out in relief.
Snow stopped crying and stood up from the floor.
“Is she awake?” Ace asked, impatiently.
“Not yet, she might not wake up anytime soon. And also, she lost a lot of blood and you know how bad that is, she’s pregnant, during birth if she has shortage of blood it’ll cause many complications” The doctor said.
Ace nodded.
“Can we see her?” Snow asked.
“You can but one by one, she needs a stuffy place and please be very quiet” The doctor said.
Ace was the first to go in, he paused when he saw her, she looked so pale.
He walked nearer to her and touched her hair, he kissed her forehead.
“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, please wake up for me” He grabbed her hand slowly, holding it with his both hands.
“I love you so much, I love little kitten” He said as he kept on staring at her face the whole night.

~WEEKS LATER~
Ace walker into the hospital with a bouquet of roses as he usually does every single day.
He walked straight to her ward and opened the door. He smiled so widely when he saw her awake, she was sitting on the bed while the doctor did a checkup on her.
She didn’t notice him at the door, when the doctor was done he left. Ace moved nearer to Kitty and she looked at him.
Her face was expressionless as she watched him approach her, he first dropped the bouquet next to her then sat on the side of the bed.
“Little kit….” She cut him off with a heavy slap, he touched his cheek and smiled at her.
“Do you love slapping me so much?” He asked and she frowned at him.
“So I was unconscious in the hospital and you went out, I’m sure you went clubbing with other girls and you let them touch you!! Better go back there and leave me alone!” She snapped at him and he chuckled.
“Why are you jumping into conclusions? I’ve been coming here everyday, I even sleep here every night all because of you! I stay here every single day. I just went out to buy you a bouquet and I get welcomed back with a slap and crazy conclusions? Wow, Kitty” He muttered and she blinked.
“You’re over exaggerating now, I’m sorry, when I woke up and didn’t see you here, I thought you left me. I’m sorry, I’m really dumb, please forgive me” She replied with her head lowered and he sighed.
“You’re making me feel bad now. Don’t cry” He cupped her cheeks and wiped the tears building up at the corners of her eyes.
“Where is everybody?” She asked.
“At home, I only let them visit once in a while. I almost forgot, can you wait here? I want to get something” Ace said and she nodded.
He left and returned some fee minutes with a huge bag in his hand, when he started bringing out food from the bag, her eyes widened.
“How many people are going to eat this?” She asked.
“It’s for you Kitten, you’ve been unconscious for many days. You need to eat properly” He said, opening a food container, he picked up a spoon and fed her, slowly.
“Ace, I’m okay. I can’t eat anymore” She said when she was already so full and he was still urging her to eat more.
“Just one more and I’ll give you a long kiss” He said and she immediately opened up her mouth.
He fed her and she quickly swallowed after chewing then she pouted her lips, waiting for his kiss.
“I can give you lots of kisses when we get home. Not right now” He said and she frowned.
“That’s cheating! I want my kiss Ace!!” She whined and he chuckled, he leaned forwards and pressed his lips on hers in a brief kiss.
“That wasn’t even long” She scoffed when he broke the kiss.
“I think we should go home now, I’ll get the doctor” He stood up and left the room.
After signing the discharge papers, he carried her out and dropped her inside the car.
He got into the driver’s seat and drove off.
Kitty was staring thought the window, she looked at Ace when she noticed the road they were on wasn’t leading to the house.
“Are you trying to kidnap me?” She asked and he smiled.
“Yes, I’ll lock you up in a room where only me can see your beautiful face” He said and she smiled, widely.
“Okay, Mr kidnapper” She replied then her face turned serious.
“But seriously Ace, where are we going?” She asked.
“You’ll see” He smirked and she stared at him, wondering what’s going on in that his head.
He stopped the car in front of a white mansion, the gate opened automatically and he drove in, he packed the car and came out.
Kitty came out too.
The mansion was huge, with status made of gold, the mansion was painted in white.
“Let’s go in” He grabbed her hand and took her inside.
“Who’s house is this? Why are we here? Ace?” She asked. The moment they got inside, her lips parted and she gasped.
It was even more beautiful from the inside, the interior design was so beautiful and unique.
“Who’s….”
“It’s our house, Little Kitten” He cut her off and she gave a puzzled look.
“Our house?” She muttered and he nodded.
“I want to keep you very safe and out of danger, I don’t want you to get tangled up in that mafia shit, so we’ll live here together” He said.
“Just you and me?” She asked and he nodded, she smiled and rushed to him, jumping into his arms.
He caught her and smiled as she pressed her lips on his, when she broke the kiss, she placed her head on his chest an wrapped her hands around his neck.
“Do you like it?” He asked and she looked at him.
“I love it and I love you more, you deserve some kisses” She said and kissed his cheek.
“One kiss for being so cute” She kissed his other cheek.
“Another kiss for being the best” She kissed his nose.
“Another one for being so handsome” She kissed his forehead.
“One more for being such a cute baby” She kissed his lips.
“Baby? You’re the baby here” He scoffed and she hit his chest.
“How long have you been planning this?” She asked.
“A while now” He replied.
“I want to come down” She said and he dropped her on the floor, the second her legs touched the ground, she ran up the stairs.
“Hey! Why are you running?! You’ll hurt yourself!” He scolded as he ran after her.
“I just want to look around!” She replied as she kept on running.
The first door she opened was a room, all black.
“That’s my room” He said from behind her and she turned to him.
“What about me? I thought we’ll stay together” She said.
“No, you have a different room” He grabbed her hand and took her to a room three door away from his.
The room was painted in pink and white with her pictures on the wall and Milo was on the bed.
Kitty faced him.
“I’m not staying here, I’m staying with you” She said.
“Do you like colour black?” He asked and she shook her head.
“And I can’t stand the colour pink” He said and she grabbed his hand.
“I’ll manage, I’ll stay in your room but I can’t stay alone. I don’t want to, please” She said and he sighed.
“I’ll arrange something before this evening” He said and she nodded.
“Now carry me, baby” She spread her arms and he lifted her up, she wrapped her hands around his waist.
“Let me show you the rest of the room” He said and took her away.

Few hours later, Kitty was sitting at the edge of the pool, kicking her leg in the water as she watched Ace swim back and forth.
He stopped and stood in the water, it was just a little above his waist. He ran in hand through his hair and wiped his face with his palm.
He saw her staring at him so he swam to her.
“Do you need another drink?” He asked, noticing the glass in her hand was almost empty.
“No, I’m done already” She replied and dropped the glass next to her.
Kitty was wearing just a bikini so her stomach was left open, her tummy was already growing bigger. Ace touched her stomach and kissed it.
He placed his ear on her stomach.
“Is daddy’s little princess alright?” He asked, making Kitty laugh.
“How can you call a boy a princess? He’s a prince” She said and he looked at her.
“It’s a girl” He said and she chuckled, mockingly.
“It’s my baby so I decide” She said.
“It’s also mine” He replied.
“I’m the one carrying it”
“And I’m the one who put it in!” He said.
“F+ck you Ace! I said it’s my baby so it’s my choice, there’s nothing you can do about it!” She snapped.
“Fine, then just leave. It’s your baby right? You can leave” He said and her eyes widened.
“You’re chasing me away?”
“Yes, I don’t need your headache” He said and she stood up.
“How dare you get me pregnant then send me away!!” She picked up the glass bottle and threw it at him, he dodged it and it fell into the pool.
“Kitty what the f+ck is wrong with you?” He snapped at her and she moved back.
“You’re yelling at me now, I thought you won’t do that anymore. I’ll just take my baby and leave your house” She sniffled, turning around to leave.
“Wait!” He came out of the water and ran after her, he grabbed her hand before he could walk through the door.
He made her face him.
“Gosh, you take things too seriously. I was just kidding, I’m sorry” He hugged her and she pushed him away.
“Don’t touch me, you said you don’t need my headache so I’ll just leave” She tried to leave again.
He grabbed her hand and spun her around, she fell in his arms and he wrapped his hands around her, tightly.
“I’m sorry, I was just kidding. I love your headaches, your annoying attitude, your childish side, I just love everything about you. I won’t let you go, I love you so much and I love our little prince too” He said and slowly broke the hug.
“I love you too jerk!” She hit his chest and sniffled.
“Let’s go change” He carried her in a bridal style and left.
After they changed their clothes, they came down to the living room.
They decided to watch a movie together, Kitty sat down on Ace’s laps with her head on his chest, she couldn’t help but notice how fast his heart was beating, is this normal?
“Are you alright?” She asked.
“Yes, I’m perfectly fine” He replied, she gave him a long stare before focusing on the movie again.
Soon Ace phone beeped and he made Kitty seat on the chair and he stood up, he left.
She was still busy watching the movie when a loud scream came from behind, startling her.
“Happy birthday!!!!!”
She sharply turned and her expression turned blank.
Alicia, Snow, Percy, Mark, Bullet, Blaze, Lexi and grace were all standing there with smiles on their faces and gifts in there hands, there were also some men holding party decorations behind them.
Godfather was there too but he was standing at a distance and he had his usual cold look.
“Happy birthday, little kitten” Ace said, hugging her from behind.
She removed his hands and turned to face him.
“Did you do this?” She asked.
“I would do anything for you” She replied and she hugged him, tears rolling down her cheeks.
“Thank you” She muttered and he gently patted her back.
“It’s not right for the birthday girl to cry. Let’s go get dresses” He said and she broke the hug.
She looked at everyone and smiled.
She came closer and hugged then one by one except for the males, they refused to hug her because of the glare Ace was giving them.
When she was done, Ace led her upstairs to him room and he brought out a beautiful bodycon black dress.
“Thank you so much” She said.
“Don’t thank me for anything again, as long as you’re happy I’m happy” He replied.
“I actually thought you forgot my birthday because you didn’t say anything about it all day” She said.
“Not f+cking possible, I can and will never forget your birthday” Ace said and she smiled.
He took off her clothes and helped her with the dress, he brushed her hair and wore her shoes for her, she didn’t need makeup so she was done.
Ace also dressed up and he held her hand as they walked down the stairs, the living room was already fully decorated in mostly pink.
And there were a lot more people there, she doesn’t even know some of them. As they were climbing down the stairs, the guests were clapping and cheering for them.
“Happy birthday pretty aunty!!” Lexi yelled, running to Kitty as she reached the final step.
“Thanks baby” Kitty replied and kissed her cheek.
“Where’s your cute cat? I want to hug it” She asked.
“Uhm, she should be upstairs. Please don’t strangle her” Kitty said.
“I already know how to hold it properly” Lexi replied as she ran up the stairs.
The party started with couples dance then it was time for the cake cutting. After singing the birthday song, Kitty blew out the candles and made a silent wish.
“What did you wish for?” Snow asked.
“Can’t tell” She replied and Snow rolled her eyes.
“Did you like the surprise? Ace arranged everything” Alicia said.
“Gosh, I love it. I couldn’t even guess he was planning something like this, he’s the best!” Kitty smiled.
“Your dress looks so cute” Grace smiled as she walked towards them with a man next to her.
“Thanks, Ace choose it” Kitty replied.
“I think I’m going to get myself one of it. Anyway, this is my husband Steve” Grace said and the man extended his hand to Kitty for a handshake.
She smiled and took it.
“Nice to meet you sir” She replied.
“Just call me Steve, I’ll feel old if you call me sir. I’m still dashing” He said and Kitty burst out in laughter.
“It’s quite true” She replied.
“We got this for you, happy birthday” Grace said and handed her a wrapped box.
“Thank you” Kitty replied and dropped the box on the table.
“Kitty! You’re dead!!!” Percy yelled, running to her.
“What did I do?” Kitty pouted.
“You forgot you even have a bestie! You didn’t tell me you’re pregnant and you didn’t tell me about that hot guy you’re dating!!” Percy scolded.
“I’m right here and you’re calling another guy hot?” Mark said from behind with a guy.
“I’m just saying he’s handsome but you’re cuter, I swear” Percy said.
Mark ignored her and walked away, she quickly ran after him.
“Baby! I’m sorry…. Please listen to me!!…..”
Kitty smiled.
“Kitty!” Alicia yelled and Kitty looked at her.
“What?”
“Turn around” She said.
“Why?” Kitty asked, looking confused.
“Just turn!” She snapped and Kitty gave her a long strange stare before turning around.
She blinked and rubbed her eyes to check if she was seeing properly.
Ace was on one knee, with a ring in his hand.
“Ace?” She called, looking totally shocked.
“Little Kitten, I’ve told you, I’m obsessed and addicted to you but even words can’t express how deep it is. I fell for you a long time ago, but I just didn’t want to accept the fact that someone can suddenly come into my life and change me so much. You’re the only one on my mind all day, the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing i think about every night. You’re my world and my everything. I can do anything to make you happy. I love you so much little kitten…..” He said, he could hear how loudly his heart was beating at that moment.
This might just be the most scariest thing he has ever done.
“Will you marry me?” He asked. Kitty was frozen for a second, she wasn’t moving or even blinking.
“Kitty say yes!!”
“Say yes!”
Their loud voice snapped her back to reality and she blinked, tears falling from her eyes.
She nodded repeatedly and smiled.
“Yes, I’ll marry you” She replied and brought out her hand, Ace slip the finger into her hand then he stood up and captured her lips.
Kitty heart was swelling so much that she felt it was going to explode any moment. This could pass as her mo’s happiest day, what more could she wish for when Ace is here with her?
He’s everything she has ever needed and everything she’ll ever need.
