The next day, she dressed up for school. On getting to the school compound she met Leonard standing at their class entrance.
“Hi Rox”. He muttered unclear
“Are you the door keeper or what?” Roxanne asked playfully.
“Come on, I’m just waiting for you”. He smiled
“Wow! It’s rare seeing you smiling”. She teased as they strolled to the class. They met Elia, Jason and Himal sitting doing nothing.
“Hi Roxanne”. They chorused and Roxanne waved at them.
One of the teachers came in, she was Literature in English teacher.
“Hello class”. She greeted as she sat on a flexible chair. “Bring out your notepad and let’s work, today we’re going to practice a play tittle: Life in netherworld.
So today we’re going on prologue and cast where as I will assemblage you into three groups, group A, B, C.” She paused for them to digest what she was explaining. Then she coughed a little.
“You know classical modelling will be held in a week time so, I want us to be serious and co-operate because everyone must participate. We are going to have some external chaperone who will direct and guide you,
So after the school closed you are to wait for practice. Are we clear?” She asked and some of the students muttered “Yes ma ” .
“Any question?” Mrs challenge asked again but no one responded. “Ok let’s move on with the prologue “

After the school hours, they did the practice and everyone went to his/ her destination while Leonard with his friends and Roxanne stood by the road side discussing the classical modelling.
“What do you think about the drama “. Asked Leonard.
“It’s awesome “. Roxanne said.
“Boring “said Elia while the rest also complimented.
“Roxanne can I see you privately please?” Jason asked.
“Why would you want to see her privately.” Glared Leonard.
“It’s none of your business, by the way she is not your girlfriend and not as if I wanna ask her out “. Jason replied and everybody burst out laughing as he walked away with her.
“Roxanne don’t you think we can have special presentation on that day “. Suggested Jason.
“I don’t understand you clearly, what are you talking about?” Asked Roxanne
“Come on Anne it’s not a big deal, we can present a song “. He said softly.
“Do I look like a singer to you”. Roxanne snapped
“You can do it, trust me”. He whined
“I trust no body can you just please leave me alone I don’t have interest”. She exclaimed.
“Okay please do it for me”. He pleaded.
She took a deep breath and sighed in defeat. “Okay but I don’t want anything problem”. She said as they walked to where other stood.
“Are you done”. Leonard asked with jealous.
“Yeah” Roxanne muttered as she was about to enter her car.
“Can I accompany you home”? Asked Leonard as also entered his own car.
“Why will you do that ? Just go home okay, I don’t want to bother you. See ya in the evening”. She waved at them all as her driver drove her away.

“You need to cheer up Anne”. Convinced Jason.
“How do I sing it then “? Roxanne asked nonchalantly.
“Okay let’s give it a try “. Jason said as he sat before the keyboard .

They kept on singing, practicing and amending their mistake.
“What about the play?” Asked Jason
“Cool but I don’t know why Leo is backing out” said Roxanne. “I will be on my way now”. She said as she rushed out of the music room. She didn’t welcome the song she was practicing with Jason but she had to play along.
“Hi Rox”. Greeted Leonard
“What’s up Leo”
“Boring without you, can we go and get some ice cream” . He offered and she nodded.
“They walked down to the cafeteria where they bought ice cream and milkshake, they sat down facing each other.
“Leo I want milkshake, I don’t like ice cream”. Pouted Roxanne
“I don’t want to give you”. He said
“Please Leo please”. She sang
He finally gave her the milkshake.
“How about the play”? Asked Roxanne.
“I’m not *interested* ” he said briefly
“In a matter of such importance, a responsible person must not sit on the fence “. Preached Roxanne
“Yes ma’am “. He replied in frustration

Witty was Roxanne’s classmate who has a big crush on Leonard. The way Leonard and Roxanne was doing irritated her badly, she had two friends Anny and Rexy they were troublesome and people knew them as WAR . Witty decided to embarrass Roxanne whenever she had the chance.
Roxanne was coming from the cafeteria when she encounter witty and her crew. She tried to give them a wide berth but it was too late they stopped her.
“Leonard’s new girlfriend”. Witty said in mockery tone.
“Thanks, can I have my way”? Roxanne asked
“You are a whore and a bitch will always be a bitch”. Insulted Witty.
Many students had gathered to watch the drama displaying between them.
“Witty watch your tongue because I don’t know the reason you throw to me the gauntlet”. Roxanne said trying to be calm.
“You wan fight now fight me fool”. Witty said and Roxanne took a deep breath.
“You must be silly Roxanne”. Laughed Rexy.
“I don’t have time for you motherfuckers”. Roxanne said trying to Walk away but Anny pulled her back.
“We’ve not done with you”. Anny said while Roxanne watched them helplessly. They thought she was powerless.
“Roxanne stay away from my man, Leonard is mine or else you won’t able to watch the drama till the end.” Witty yelled.
“Hmm so, am I here with you because of Leonard ••• oh … If that is the matter I will never stay away from him. You understand”? Roxanne smirked.
“Why are you like this. Are you talking to me like that Do you know who I am . You are very stupid “. Witty shouted and Roxanne burst out laughing really hard.
“Oh is the bag empty? Or you wanna cry, wait who are you?
Have you no shame at all at your age disturbing the whole school bullying everybody. Are you stupid? Are you dumb? You don’t even have any sense, you bring everyone so much joy when you leave the class. Were you born this stupid or did you even take lesson at all what’s wrong you this girl. You are so full of shit you bragging waggart, unctuous, sanctimonious, insipidity, out-dated•••• ” Roxanne began to rain big grammar on their.
Leonard and his friends were also there with many students watching the show. Witty began to cry while one of her crew Rexy threw a slap at Roxanne which landed smoothly on her cheek.
Roxanne’s face turned red and she blowed Rexy ‘s mouth. They began to fight until Roxanne defeated the the three .
“My name Roxanne, no one mess with me and go Scott free”. She said with pride and she walked away dramatically leaving everyone mouth teared.
“Rox I’m sorry”. Leonard apologized as she finally caught up with her in the school library.
“For what Leo?” She asked.
“I’m deeply sorry, I don’t want the rope of our friendship to cut just because of this”. Pleaded Leonard.
“I hold no grudges against you , it’s not your fault anyway”. She said with a smile.
“I can’t believe you are that tough”. Leonard teased
“Come on let’s go to the class. We’ll be having Craft work in two minutes “. Roxanne said and they went to the class hand in hand.
