    ” Where..is..my..ring” He asked his voice low and menacing , each word punctuated by a slight squeeze of his fingers
    Octavia face turned red, and she clawed at Khalid hand trying to loosen his grip, just as she thought she was passing out , Khalid released her and she Collapsed to the floor gasping for air 
    Bella and pearl watched the Scene with great interest their face expressionless
    Moana Smirked , Octavia pains were like an melody to her , she wants more
    Khalid eye never left Octavia face ” You have one last Chance where is my ring?”he demanded , his voice cold and deadly 
    Octavia flinched , she tried her very best took him in the eye and speak boldly , but all attempt were in vain
    ” I don’t have it ” Octavia croaked , her voice hoarse from Khalid grip , her face still down
    Khalid face twisted in a Snarl and he raised his hand , before he could strike a Voice echoed through the hall stopping him

    The room went silent and all eyes turned to the speaker , an elderly man , he is currently on a Wheelchair, his eyes fixed on Khalid

    Khalid’s eyes narrowed, but he slowly lowered his hand , his gaze still on Octavia” Very well father”
    Malachi wheeled towards Octavia” You must be the thief”
    Octavia eyes widened as she stared at him , he was an older version of Khalid , the sane Chiseled features “

    She gathered up strength and started Jogging slowly and carefully , trying to generate heat 
    The Metal door creaked open and pearl appeared in an oversized hoodie , she is even holding a torch light 
    ” Don’t you want to escape take this , change , then let’s go ” Pearl said giving her a dress
    Octavia smiled then wore the dress fast , she followed pearl from behind as she led the way
    Jayson sighted them and followed them ….secretly 
    Finally they arrived outside 
    ” Be quiet Khalid is in the pool” Pearl sail in a low voice, Octavia nodded 
    Pearl walked first tiptoeing as to not to let Khalid 
    Now its Octavia turn , she decided to take a quick peak at him , he is in the pool his arms stretched at the tiles , his eyes are Closed , but there is a dark cloud over him with lightning and Thunder 
    She couldn’t deny the fact he was handsome , and breathtaking
    ” Snap out if it Octavia ” she slapped herself loudly 
    ” F+k” she cursed when she felt his eyes were about to open 
    His eyes fluttered open with annoyance  .
    Suddenly an Invisible force Carried Octavia hitting her Mercilessly on the tree

    After Some Few Minutes , They were out , The Cab they booked was already waiting for them , The Slid into the Cab and it drove away , destination to Fizz Hostel at Crescent College.

    As soon as Ivan Stepped out of his Car , he Went Straight to his room , he is Fuming With rage Enough to Fry an egg.

    The duos grabbed their Suitcase and headed to Fizz hostel in search for their Room .

       ” It was nice to have you here”.Angel said.

         “Thank you all, it was an honor too, I will take my leave now”. She smiled and walked away.

        ” She is such a lovely girl”.Mr. Wilson said and Mrs. Judith scoffed.

        “Don’t be too sure about that, she might be innocent and dangerous at the same time”. She said.

        ” Why will you say that?”. Richard question.

         “Nothing, am just saying though”.

        ” It doesn’t matter, Nina doesn’t look like a bad person, she seems nice and I like her already”.Juliana said.

        “Me too”. Angel said.

        ” So, big brother, what is taking you so long to court her?”.Ella asked.

        “Why will he court her, have you girls forgotten there is someone else he likes”. Mrs. Judith said and they turned to her confusedly.

         ” Someone I like? Who mother?”.Richard asked confusedly.

        “Am talking about Elizabeth, your childhood friend”. She said smiling.

       ” Seriously, Mom, you and I know Elizabeth travel with her parents since she was a child”. Juliana said.

        “Yes I know, but the good news is that she will be coming to town with her parents next month”. 

        ” And you assume that I liked her? Elizabeth and I are just childhood friends, just like Alex and I, so, there is no string attached to it”. Richard said.

        “Yes, and I am sure by now, she must have gotten herself a boyfriend”. Ella said.

        ” I don’t think so, her mother didn’t tell me that”.

        “You communicate with her mother?”. Mr. Wilson asked.

        ” Yes, almost every day”. She said and everyone sighed.

      Meanwhile, Nina was in the backseat of the taxi lost in deep thought and there was heavy traffic on the road, and then the thunderclap.

        “I will get down from here”. She said to the driver and came down walking along the subway. Just then the rain started dropping.

        Everyone was running in different directions to hide from the rain including Nina, who found a fuel station and ran to hide with the others.

         Alex on the other hand was having dinner with Nora’s parents.

        ” Hope you are enjoying your food dear?”.Nora’s mother asked, and Alex nodded.

          “We are so happy you honor our invitation”. Nora’s father said.

         ” Sure”. he replied.

         They went mute for a while and then Nora’s mother broke the silent mood.

        “Before I forget, Alex, Nora”. She called and they raised their faces to her.” We have concluded that you two will get married immediately after the masquerade party”. She announced excitedly. Alex was surprised.

         “Really, mother?” Nora asked excitedly.

          “Yes dear”. Her father replied.

         ” Did my mother say that?”.Alex asked.

          “No, we all came to the conclusion together”. She said.

         ” Without letting me know about it, first?”. He said unhappily and stood up to leave.”Excuse me, I will take my leave now”. He walked away ignoring their calling.

         “Why is he like that?”. He asked.

         ” Don’t worry about it, he will be fine, he is just shocked about the news”.Nora said.

         “I hope he reconsiders”. She said and they continued eating.

       Alex was driving under the rain looking furious, he dialed his mother’s cell phone, and it rang for a while before it was picked up.

        📞” Hello Son”. She said on the other end of the phone.

        📞”Mom, why are you on the peck of ruining my happiness”. He said unlikely.

       📞”How do you mean son?” she asked confusedly.

       📞”Don’t play dumb with me, why did you set up a marriage date for me without my consent?”.

       📞”Son, calm down”.

       📞”Don’t tell me to calm down, you know what, I have had enough, am not a kid to toy with”. He hung up angrily

        He increased the speed of his car, and then his cell phone started v+br@ting, he saw the caller ID and ignored it, Suddenly, a car light flashed in his eyes, and he lost control of his brake and ran into a Pole causing him to lose consciousness.

        Meanwhile, Aurora came out to get water from the refrigerator, she filled the glass cup and it slipped off her hand.

       “Aurora”. Her granny called as she rushed down from the room because of the noise.” What happened? Are you okay?”. She asked curiously. Aurora went still as her heart started pounding fast. “Child?”. She moved to her and helped her sit on the chair.” What’s wrong?”.

        “Granny, my heart is troubled, it seems something is wrong”. She panicked.

        ” How do you mean?”.

        “I don’t know, maybe I should call Nina”. She dialed Nina’s number, and it rang for a while before it was picked up.

       📞 ” Hey Aurora”.Nina said.

        📞”Nina, are you ok? Are you home?”.She asked curiously.

       📞”Yes, I just got home”.

        📞”Ok”.She said with a sigh of relief.

       📞”What’s wrong Aurora, your voice sound troubled”.

       📞”I don’t know Nina, I just suddenly felt something isn’t right and my heart is beating fast”. 

      📞”Just calm down, maybe you are overthinking, have you called Alex, to check if he is fine”.

       📞”I will do just that now”. She hung up and dialed Alex’s number.

       “Just be calm”. She said.

      The phone rang, but no one was picking up, she dialed it again, and the same thing happened.

        ” He is not answering his phone”. She panicked.

        “Who?”.

        ” Alex!” she said quickly as she continued to dial his number.”Granny, am worried”.

        “Maybe he is not with his phone”.

        ” No granny, Alex is always with his phone and he never allows his phone to ring twice without picking it up”. She said and her grandmother tried to calm her down. Then, the phone rang and she picked it up quickly.  📞”Hello, Alex, are you ok?”.

       📞”Um, this is not Alex, the owner of this phone got involved in an accident and was rushed to the hospital”. The unknown guy said and Aurora’s heart flinched.

        📞”What?”She panicked as she stood up with tears in her eyes. “Please tell me he is fine, please”. She sobs and then hangs up after the man tells her the hospital Alex was rushed to.

         “What happened?”. 

        ” Alex was involved in an accident, I need to go right now”. She rushed quickly before her grandmother could say anything.

       ••Nora’s family home••

         “He is not answering his phone”. Nora said as she tried to connect with Alex’s phone.

        ” Maybe he wants to be alone”.Her mother said.

        “Fine”.She sighed.” Is not as if he will pick up my call anyway”. She sat down nonchalantly.

        “Does he ignore you like this even at home?”. His father asked.

        ” Am used to it, Dad”. She said as she picked up her bag to leave.”I will take my leave now”.

        “Why? Is still rainy”. She said.

       ” I know Mom, a cab is waiting for me outside”. She said and walked away. She came out of the house and rushed inside the car that was waiting for her”Did I keep you waiting?”. She asked smiling at Charles.

        “Not really, I missed you” ” He smiled and pulled her to sit on his lap as he ordered the cab man to drive.

        “You n+ughty being”. She said and they started kissing.

    Scarlett’s eyes went wide as she gulped nothing down her throat 

    Her ears turned red 

    Knox lips didn’t move, it sat there softly , perhaps waiting for her approval 

    Her eye lashes started to flutter , refusing to Close , Her whole body paused , she Couldn’t move but she could already taste his Milky lips on her tongue

    Knox eyes are open too, he could feel the softness of her lips and it only made the desire to own her worse

    His left hand went to her face , angling it properly 

    She gasper her Mouth opening In the process , this gave Knox a chance , he deepened the Kiss Capturing her whole lips , no space was left to breath

    Her right hand grabbed a hold of his Jacket , She shut her eyes Reciprocating g the Kiss in the same Energy 

    Charlotte eyes are Wide open and they are refusing to Close 

    As if remembering something Scarlett’s eyes fluttered open and she gave Knox a slight Push 

    Knox gazed at her in disbelief and in Shock ” What happened?’ He asked Concerned 

    ” Leave me, you have a Fiancée , and besides I don’t like you Romantically ‘ Scarlett said trying to avoid a direct eye Contact with him 

    ” Look into my eyes and repeat those words , and I promise you will never see my Shadow , Ever” Knox said his right hand grabbing her Chin , their gazes interlocked

    Scarlett opened her Mouth to speak but instead she swallowed back her Words 

    ” don’t you dare Ever lie to me again, Little fairy ” he whispered leaning close with the intention to Kiss her again 

    ” honey” Dorcas Voice interrupted as she knocked on the door 

    ” You need to go please I don’t want my mom to see you here, she will get the Wrong idea” Scarlett steadily requested

    ” No” he stubbornly refused 

    ” please” she Cutely pouted 

    Knox couldn’t help but he lost at her Cuteness , she is killing him inside , and she has no idea , so fucking clueless

    ” I promise I will do anything please just leave “

     she added still pleading

    Knox smirked ” Anything ” he muttered standing up ” Good night little fairy ” 

    Knox faced Charlotte ” If she gets too loud I know Someone who purchases Tongue ” Knox jumping from the window 

    Charlotte eyes widened ” I am not that loud ” she shrugged inwardly 

    Scarlett rushed and opened the door , Dorcas had a frown on her face 

    ‘ I heard a guy voice , Where is he ” Dorcas demanded stalking into the room , her eyes Scanning every Corner and Crooks 

    ” Mom there is no guy , we were just watching a Movie ” Scarlett lied

    ” Movie?Why is she tied up ” Dorcas asked again suspicious

    ” Mom she was too loud , so I had no other Choice ” Scarlett said with a leer smile 

    ” Birds of the same feather , Am not too loud ” Charlotte Screamed inwardly 

    ” okay , if you say so but if you bring any guy into my house or your room, you would be grounded ” Dorcas seriously said 

    ” Mom am not a kid ” Scarlett argued watching Dorcas leave the room 

    Scarlett knows fully well her Mother wasn’t convinced , Now Dorcas will keep and extra eye on her 

    Scarlett removed the tape from Charlotte mouth 

    ” The heck , am not loud , I just love talking which is soothing to me , by the way Knox is a good kisser ,  am sure you really enjoyed it …..’

    Scarlett cut off Charlotte immediately by taping her Mouth again 

    ” Too loud ” Scarlett  Commented , she Could hear Charlotte scoffing

    Scarlett fell on her bed , she Closed her eyes trying to sleep , but she kept on repeatedly seeing Knox face 

    ” Knox what have you done to him?” Scarlett mumbled to herself , she touched her lips , she could still feel the warmth of Knox lips on hers

    Blake Smiled at the Black card he was holding then he gazed at the Luxurious Music shop that bestowed on him 

    He has been eyeing one of the guitar here for a long time , When Charlotte gave him the black card , it served as a perfect opportunity for him 

    He Walked with full confidence into the shop , his eyes sparkled with amusement as he entered they were lot of fancy Musical instruments in there but his gaze Caught not one but two , they were exactly alike 

    He Changed his Mind , he would buy the two 

    ” pack these two for me am purchasing it ” Blake grinned giving the Cashier his black Card

    ” Am guessing the Second one is for Chase ” A voice said from behind 

    Knox 

    ” Nope ” Blake defended quickly

    ” that’s your problem , am here only because of Scarlett , What happened to her?” Knox demandingly asked 

    ” Meaning? ” 

    ” Before you left a Month ago , did you notice any Changes in her or has she always been so Called and detached ?” 

    ” stop interrogating me , am having goosebumps already, all I remember was that she had a boyfriend before I left , a Secret boyfriend ” Blake replied turning away

    Knox stared at his phone, he is waiting for a signal

    Giulia eyes fluttered open , she almost screamed when she saw the state she was in , her hands were tied up and below her was a big pot full of Acids 

    Giulia swallowed nothing down her throat , any mistake means death 

    ” I didn’t picture myself dying like this ?” She told herself 

    Suddenly she heard slow claps , seconds by seconds the image Clapping came in View 

    Victoria smirked Victoriously , Paul is standing behind her looking Evil like her 

    ” Any last words Giulia because I would be the last person you would see before you perish ” Victoria smirked devilishly

    ” Really?” Giulia returned the Smirk 

    Paul stared suspiciously at Giulia for someone who is about to die where did she get such Courage  from ?

    ” Whatever, send my regards to my father , …..jeez almost forgot my father is in hell just send my regards to my low life Mum ” Victoria laughed hatefully and left with Paul by her side

    Giulia faces saddened how would she send the Signal to Knox when she can’t reach out to her hands ?

    She is surely sure that right now Knox is Corky , Expecting her to send the Signal to find her 

    This is devastating, 

    She needs to figure something out

    Mia ran through the hallways and gave Scarlett a tight hug ” missed you Scar ” she Screamed getting the Attention of Every one 

    ” To be honest I missed you and Brent Banter the most ” Scarlett Chuckled softly

    Mia faked a smile when she heard Brent name 

    ” Gist me , am all ears , leave no gist untouched , shoot ” Mia giggled excited 

    ” I met Knox grannies  , they are Cool and I like them , nothing special Happened ” Scarlett explained 

    ” Liar ” Mia frowned 

    ” Knox kissed me last night ” Scarlett confessed

    ” Really? ” Mia eyes widened 

    ” No strings attached , its Just a Kiss ” Scarlett said trying to make it look like it was not a big deal , but it is to her 

    Every Students at Ivory Colleges phone buzzed at the same time 

    Its a Message from Black Dog

    At this rate Xyla could have an heart attack , she just read the Message Sent by Black dog 

    What if he exposes her ? She is in trouble ? She has to find him before he releases it , finding him is like finding a snake in a green grass , she is doomed 

    Xyla stared at Valerie empty seat , She really needed Valerie in times of trouble

    Scarlett stood waiting for a Taxi , she gas waited for about thirty minutes ,

    From behind Knox held her hand pulling her into his Car , she didn’t argue , she. Just followed him like a Kitten 

    ” Where are we going ,am sure you wouldn’t take me home ” Scarlett smiled 

    Knox returned the Smile his hand Entangled with hers ” Am taking you somewhere I have never taken anyone to before ” he said Caressing her hands

    KNOX SECRET VILLA*

    Scarlett stepped out of the shower , her hair is dripping wet , she wearing one if Knox TT shirt which is reaching her knee , she looks insanely hot

    She took the hair drier and began using it on her hair

    She was  too lost on what she was doing , that she didn’t realise When Knox stepped in 

    Knox Carried er in a bridal style immediately without her Consent 

    He softly dropped her on the bed , she opened her to speak but Knox kissed her Suddenly and unexpectedly 

    His hands weren’t idle , they explored her thighs 

    Scarlett let out soft whimpers

    Knox was attentive Enough so he broke the kiss immediately

    ‘ Has anyone ever touched you …..in the past ?’ Knox asked Scooping her on his arms 

    A stream line of sweat  fell from her temples ,, she brimmed tears streaming like rain , this made him more concerned 

    ” Talk to me Little fairy ” he gently said stroking her hair

    Silence 

    Her Silence was killing him , Scarlett hiccupped as memories of that dreaded night flooded in

    ” Has anyone Ever touched you inappropriately? ” he growled sounding inpatient

    ” Yes ”
