    Theme: My Only Sister

    AS soon as Annette withdrew her hand, Fred became stunned, what was wrong with her?
    He shrugged, waving it off

    “You are awake at last Anne”, he said smiling

    Annette looked round, everywhere looked strange and she wondered where she was
    Where was she? And how did she get there?
    She was confused

    Moreover she really couldn’t remember what happened, the only thing she remembered was that she was attacked, and then….. and then someone walked up to her calling her name, and she passed out on his hands, without knowing who the person was

    She turned to Fred
    “Where am I? What am I doing here?”, she rushed her words

    Fred smiled
    “Calm down, you are in my house, and you are receiving treatments”

    Annette was dazed, she tried to sit up but Fred held her back

    “No no, you can’t. See”, he pointed to the wall on her left hand side, “you are on drip, just have rest ok?”, he tried to lay her back on the bed, but she refused

    “I don’t need your help”, she said

    Fred sighed, what was wrong with this girl?

    “Well, you….. you were actually attacked”

    Annette looked at him
    Who asked him to tell her? Did she say she doesn’t know?

    “And so?”, she said

    Fred was taken aback, he opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted
    His eyes caught cars coming in through the gate, he saw this from the window
    They were home, and Annette would be going soon, he felt bad

    He turned to her
    “Do you know the people that attacked you?”, he asked

    She looked into space, trying to recall. She obviously didn’t know any of them

    Instantly the door opened, and her family entered
    Fred turned to them

    “Mummy Annette, good afternoon”, he greeted, “good afternoon Mr Chike”,

    “Afternoon son. How are you?”, Vera asked and walked up to Annette

    “Annette, how are you? What happened? Oh my God, who did this to you?”, she cried out

    Annette couldn’t say anything, she just watched like a maroon

    “Annette”, her father called and took hold of her hand, to feel her pulse
    He didn’t say much, he just looked her over, and then walked out

    “Sister, what happened?”, Sochima asked, looking at her sister

    Annette heaved a sigh of relief

    “I know you guys have a lotta questions for me, but I’m sorry I can’t provide the answers”, she paused
    “The only thing I have to say is that you should thank Fred for me, he was the one that rescued me”, she said

    They turned to look at Fred, his face was expressionless

    “Your mother told me same thing too”, Vera said, “thank you so much”

    Fred smiled
    “It’s nothing ma’am, it’s nothing. It was my pleasure”

    Vera nodded
    “Get prepared, we will be leaving with you ok?”, and she left the room

    “Thanks uncle Freddie”, Sochima said, walking over to sit on the bed

    Fred smiled
    “No prob Sochi. Er Annette?”, he called

    Annette looked at him

    “I’ll be leaving now, get well soon”, he winked and walked away

    “Who were you talking to?”, Timi’s mom, popularly called and known as Iya Timi, asked her

    Timi was visibly shaken, had her mother known?
    Had she heard her conversation?

    “A friend mother”, she tried to look normal

    Her mother looked her over, suspiciously

    “You know I always never fail to get to the root of anything”, she said, “it better be a friend”, she opened the door and left

    As soon as she left, Timi heaved a sigh of relief, she thought her mother had listened to her
    God! She would have been a dead meat

    Her mind lingered to what Emenike just told her and she jumped up in joy and landed on the bed

    She was extremely happy, Fred was hers and none else
    As for Cynthia, her case was an easy one, she knows how to handle that

    “Ahhh”, she exclaimed, placing her hand on her chest, “so he’s mine at last”, she winked

    She was gonna pay him a visit the next day, yeah, she has to act very fast else, another girl comes in the lane

    Mummy C sat down beside Cynthia on the bed, she was holding a pen and paper

    “Give me the address where the uncompleted building is located”, she said

    Cynthia hesitated, she had been warned and threatened, never to tell anybody, except if she wants her death

    “Are you deaf?”, her mother thundered and she shivered

    “No 12 complex city street, it’s the only building on that street”, she said

    She jotted down the details and turned to her, probably to get more information

    “You said you were there for the execution or something right?”

    She nodded

    “Good. From the look of things you said, you aren’t the only person involved in this, I mean you said it was someone who made you do it right?”

    “Yes, I was just on my own and she came and told me about another girl saying she’s the one in the way, and requested to…..to execute her”

    Mummy C sighed
    “What’s her name?”

    “Timilayo”

    She jotted it down

    “This is enough for now, let me get down to work. I must stop at nothing to see the stinking penis of that guy cut to pieces”, she got up
    “But that doesn’t stop you from receiving your own punishment, you will learn not to be heartless”, and she walked out of the room

    Cynthia cried, see what problem she had put herself into, because of a boy

    She never wanted to expose Timi, because to her Timi never meant any harm, moreover she was just helping her out

    She would tell her mom later on that Timi was never a problem, yes, but that would be later
    Then she would try pay Fred a visit the next day, thank God her mom won’t be around

    Annette was now fresh from drip and walking about
    Though the plasters were still on her body, but she was fit

    After taking lunch with the whole family, she went outside towards the garden
    They were still at Fred’s house

    She got to the garden and walked on the terrace, stroking the flowers her hands could reach, her mind was miles away, it was filled with thoughts of the day she was attacked

    Then she felt a touch on her waist and she turned at the instant, it was Fred

    What!
    She flinched and moved away from him

    “Hi”, he smiled

    She made a face. What does he want?

    “Yeah, how can I help you?”, she asked

    Fred shook his head, she’s playing hard maybe

    “I was asking you something before, about your attackers?”

    Oh! She looked into space
    “Yeah”

    “So what do you know about it?”

    Why does he want to know?
    Hmm

    “It’s your fault, you caused it”, she said pointing at him, and then she turned to leave

    Fred was stunned, his fault? How?

    “Hey please wait”, he rushed to stop her, placing his hand on her shoulder

    She abruptly turned, and slowly removed his hand from her shoulder

    “What’s it?”, she asked

    Fred sighed, her blood was so hot

    “Calm down okay. But please make me understand, how’s it my fault? Please tell me, I want to know”

    Annette looked at him, head to toe, in disgust
    She folded her hands

    “Why do you want to know?”

    “Because your affairs matters to me”, he said

    She laughed
    “Indeed. Well if you must know how it’s your fault, I was asked to keep off Timi’s boyfriend and who’s her boyfriend, you!”, and she walked away leaving Fred in shock.

    Theme: My Only Sister

    DEJECTED, Timi watched Fred slowly drove away, and out of her sight
    She became sad, who is behind all these?? She asked herself, racking her brain to come to a conclusion

    Then it hit her, it’s either Peter or Annette, but obviously Annette, she’s the root of it

    So he had finally known what she’s been hiding from him, he had known what she’s

    She took a last look at the route Fred took, and slowly walked away

    She reached her mom’s supermarket and opened up, then went to sit down to think up what next to do

    Not up to few minutes has she settled down on a seat, someone came into the shop

    She looked at the person to know if it’s a customer, but obviously not and the face looks familiar

    Then it hit her, oh! It was the girl at the patent store opposite where she and Fred just vacated
    What was she here for?

    *************************

    Cynthia, the girl that attended to Fred at the patent store vividly saw all that transpired between Fred and a girl, just in front of her

    So the girl was the reason he’s been behaving the way he does towards her, towards a girl willing to give herself to him

    “I mean, who in his right senses, wouldn’t want a girl willing to give her whole self to him?”, she asked herself, “it must have been this girl I saw the both of them ranting here, she must be the reason he’s been avoiding me, yes”, she said, walking about the store

    From what she heard them talking, he was asking her to stay away from him, meaning he’s free now

    But no doubt, the girl wouldn’t just let him be, she must have something in mind to do

    She nodded her head, smirking

    “I need to stop her”, she said

    But hold on, she doesn’t even know her, but she looks familiar

    She racked her brain to think
    Oh yes, she normally bypasses every morning, the girl running the big supermarket over the street, yes it’s her

    She decided to go talk to her. She walked out of the store and hurriedly walked to the supermarket, it was a popular one

    Sochima hurriedly scuttled into the house, apparently looking out for Annette

    She saw her bent over the dining table, playing with a teddy

    “Hey big sis?”, she called walking up to her

    Annette turned her head to the direction of the voice calling, she was still bent over the table

    “Sochi?”, she called smiling

    Sochima got to her and stopped, hands akimbo

    “What’s really going on between you and Fred?”, she asked

    Annette was confused, looking dazed

    “What do you mean?”

    Sochima sighed
    “I mean, you and Fred, you are supposed to be together, but what I saw about four days ago…”, she paused and folded her hands, “it scared the hell outta me”, she said

    Annette was astonished, her eyes wide open

    “What did you see?”, she asked

    “I saw him, I mean Fred and that ‘tolotolo’ at Ultimate Frisbee, when mom and I went to visit her friend, I think they were on a date”

    Annette’s heart skipped a beat, she stood up erect

    “The both of them?”, she asked, her voice seemed to be breaking

    Sochima noticed it
    “Yeah, I remember you telling me something about him asking you for her contact, so I think they’re dating”, she said

    Annette slowly looked away from her, and into space
    She was lost in thought

    If they visited Ultimate Frisbee as her sister said, four days ago, then why Peter coming to ask her who Fred was? Or why the dream she had few days ago?
    It was both meaningless, if they’re still together

    “Well, he doesn’t love me”, she snapped

    Sochima looked at her
    “What do you mean by that?”

    “Yes, he doesn’t love me, I’m the only one who does”

    “I don’t see it like that big sis”, Sochima concurred
    “I see it like he really hasn’t noticed you”

    “What do you mean?”

    “Who would see this black beauty I’ve got for a sister, with all the curves in the right places, and still go after that turkey?”, Annette bursted into laughter

    “Or is it because she’s fair, and always like to be noticed wherever she goes?”, Sochima continued

    Annette laughed
    “You have to stop that Sochi, it’s enough”, she laughed

    “Well, as for me I believe he just hasn’t noticed you, that’s all”

    “He just doesn’t love me”

    Sochima looked at her
    “I think you want us to go for a test”, she said

    “Huh? What test?”

    “To know if he doesn’t loves you or he just hasn’t noticed you”

    “So how would you achieve that?”

    “We will go to their house, you know aunty Sarah, his mom admires you a lot. She would be of help”

    Annette thought for a while, what was this girl talking about?
    She decided to let her have her way

    “Well let’s give it a try”

    Sochima smiled
    “That’s just it, a try”, she smiled
     to what the girl has to say

    “Yeah? Who are you and what do you want?”, she asked, her hands folded

    Cynthia just had her eyeballs staring daggers at her, if eyes could kill, Timi would have long been dead

    “I just want you to stay away from Fred, he’s for me”, she whispered and walked away

    Timi was stunned for a second, what was she trying to say

    Then she laughed out
    Who was this one? They’re talking about important people in the play, and this one without head nor tail popped out
    She laughed again

    What can this one do? She hissed

    But a thought came to her, the girl might be of help. Who knows? Yes, she gonna help
    She smiled and followed her

    They got to the patent store together and Cynthia was shocked to see her

    “What are you doing here?”, she barked

    Timi smiled
    “You came to my shop minutes ago, so I’m here too”

    “What do you want?”, Cynthia shouted

    Timi was taken aback. Hot blooded

    “Chill okay, I’ve not come to kill you”, she smiled

    Cynthia looked at her with suspicious eyes. What does she want now?

    “So what do you want?”

    “Hey, your blood looks hot, just chill and listen to what I have to say”

    Cynthia sighed
    “I’m listening”

    Timi thought, how she gonna bring up the discussion?

    “What relationship do you have with Fred?”, she finally asked

    Cynthia looked at her
    “Excuse me?”

    Timi shook her head
    “I want to help ok? I want to help, just tell me what I want to know”

    Cynthia hesitated for a while

    “Okay, he’s my boyfriend”, she lied

    I touched my stomach wondering how the baby is doing in there. I haven’t eaten since afternoon, does it mean that my baby will be hungry?
    Oh God! How do I survive it? I do stay for 2days and not given food when I’m the one that prepares it but there will be a supervisor who is no one else but my step mum .

    I closed my eyes ruminating over everything that’s happened in my life. The I’ll treatments to being pregnant for a stranger through rape.

    Her step mum excused us and left in anger. I mean she ought to be happy at least even if it means faking it since we are still here ..

    ” Thank you daughter, since you are going to be a part of my family you are now officially my daughter and I think the engagement ring will be given to you by Ethan when you both are okay with it “

    ” And it’s a law in our family that a first child shouldn’t be given birth to out of the   father’s house so you will be moving in with your fiance. Is that Okay by you Mr Daniels?” Dad asked ..

    ” It’s okay, I have known your family for a long time and I believe you won’t hurt my daughter. It’s okay by me ” he replied as Olivia stared at him fearfully like stopping him to disagree..

    ” Okay, let’s give the love birds some time” dad said

    I stared at him , he looks so intimidating that I just have to nod my head.

    ” I will wear this for you, that’s our engagement ring. I promise to make it better some days ” he assured me smiling at me

    Maybe I can trust him but I don’t even know him

    I shook my head unable to say anything, I don’t even know what to say

    ” I want to see the protruding belly and see how my baby is growing “

    Really? The pregnancy is just a month and he’s talking about protruding? He can’t be serious

    ” No” I said standing up.

    Alex and I stood by Ella’s door waiting.

    The door opened and a sad looking Ella showed up. Her face was pale and her eyes was puffy, it has bags below. She must’ve been crying. What have you done, Tiwa?

    “Evening”. She force a small smile then look at Alex direction.

    “May I come in please? “. I asked in a plea tone.

    “Yeah sure, please do”. She made the door wider and we went in.
    Wow. Her house was in apple pie.Her living room was little but holds a sofa and a couch.

    In the middle of the room lies a love shape rug with cupid heart patterns all over it and on top of that lies a small glass table, which has a flower vase on it and a remote control and a coaster.

    At the fourth wall has a flat screen TV. The room has everything, a living should have. It was breathtaking.

    Alex settled in the couch. Ella turn to me. “Please sit, i’ll be back”. Then she dash into one of the rooms.

    I couldn’t sit so I just stood. “Come on, Mrs Laura. Sit”. Alex said but i ignored.

    Ella came back with a plate containing two glasses of what looks like orange drink. She gave one to Alex and then she turn to me and offered me the other.

    “Ella, I need to talk to you please”.

    “But you should Atleast drink something. Please, it your first time here”. Ella persuaded.

    “What brought me here is more important, Ella”.

    “Come on, you’re not suppose to reject the first thing, I offered. “. She said pouting at me.

    “Common, Mrs Laura. Take it”. Alex said and I collected the glass, took it to my mouth and gulped everything.

    “Can we talk now? “.

    She smiled. “Sure, i’ll be right back”. She collected the glass and went back into the room she entered earlier. That should be her kitchen, I guess.

    I turn to Alex. His eyes was on the Tv. What? It wasn’t ON when we came. Stupid boy, he’s already feeling at home.

    I found myself smiling. Wait… Why am I smiling? Stop it Tiwalade.

    “Let’s go”. Ella broke into my thought and I followed her into a room. Wow.

    Everything about this girl is so special. Her room is so breathtaking.

    “Please sit”. She gestured me to the stool at her dressing table and she went to sit on the bed.
    I ignored the stool and went to sit with her.

    Justin walked in and embraced Ella in a long hug that seem like forever to me.

    I’ve explained and apologized to Ella. Fortunately it went well and now it settled.

    It kinda feel awkward watching this two lovers.

    “Umm, we should go now. Mr Alex”. I said.

    “So soon. Why? Let me prepare dinner please. I’m a very fast cook and a good one. You can ask Justin”. Ella said as she disengage from the hug.

    Really.. Did she expect me to keep watching their romance.

    “We can do that, some other time. I gat some stuffs to do at home”. I said whist smiling.

    “Yeah you should go now”. Justin grinned and Ella hit him playfully.
    “Alright love birds. See you later”. Alex said as he stood up.

    “Yeah yeah. Catch you two later”. Justin grinned. Stupid boy.

    Alex and I got to his car and he opened the car door for me. He had insist we come in his car.
    “Why are you doing the gentle man show now? “.

    “Common Mrs Laura”.

    I smiled and got into the car, he shut the door and got in the driver’s seat.

    He start the car’s engine and zoom off then start driving slow.

    “Mr Alex”.

    “Yeah Mrs Laura”.

    “Why are you driving slowly? “. Yeah he was driving like a snail.
    “Sorry, am not feeling too good”.

    “Oh oh”. I took my hand to his head to feel his temperature. It was normal. “Mr Alex”.

    I glared at him. “Your temperature is okay”.

    “Of course. Because am fine”. He grinned.

    I hit him playfully. “Stupid boy”.
    “Boy? Am a man”.

    “Indeed”. I chuckeld and he focus on his driving.

    “Mr Alex”.

    “Yeah Mrs Laura”.

    “Can you park there? “. I said pointing at an ice cream shop.

    “Huh? Did I do anything wrong? Okay am gonna drive fast. Very fast now”.

    “Nah Nah. Thats an ice cream shop and am craving for it”.

    He heaved a sigh of relieve and pulled up in front of the shop. I wanted to open the door but he held me back.

    “Don’t worry. Just tell me the flavor you want”.

    My eyes fell on his hand which was on mine and he took it off immediately..

    “Uh. Uh. Am sorry”. With that he remove his hands.

    “Get me a chocolate flavor. Bill on you”.

    “Sure, how many do you want? “.

    I chuckled. “Come on, Mr Alex. Just a cup”..

    “Alright i’ll be right back”. He opened the car door and headed to the shop.

    Why is he acting so nice? A whole Alex. The same person who maltreated me.

    He soon came back and got in the car. He hand over a carrier bag to me, I collected it and opened it to see two big bowls of ice cream “.

    “Wow. Thank you, Mr Alex”.

    “Come on Mrs Laura. It my duty anyways, so it nothing”. He flash me a smile then started the car and we continued the drive to my house.

    “Mr Alex”..

    “Yeah, Mrs Laura “.

    “Why are you being nice to me? “. He glance at me then face the road again.

    “Is it because of the divorce?”. Still he did not talk.

    “Listen Mr Alex. It won’t change anything seriously. Let’s free ourselves”. I added but he did not spare me a glance but wore a sad face.

    We got to my house and he wanted to drive in but I stopped him.

    “Dont worry, Mr Alex. Thanks for the drive, accompanying me and for the ice cream”.

    “Yeah sweet dreams”. He muttered. I got out of his car and he drove off.

    I stared at his car till it was out of sight. I gulped. I feel bad, he’s trying to make up with me but I don’t know.

    Maybe I should still think about the divorce and watch him for a while.

    Ella
    I stared into Justin eyes. Am so glad he came back. I love him so much. This past few days has been hell without him.

    I just forced myself to ignore him. It wasn’t easy at all. Am already addicted to him.

    “I’ll be right back, Ella”. He said and went into the kitchen. He came back with two glass of orange drink.

    He gave me one and took the other. I sipped slowly.

    “You see Ella. Just like I said, I wanted to play you but I got stuck. I don’t wanna ever lose you in my life.

    Am so addicted to you. You know how much I love you, right? So don’t ever think i’ll leave your side”.

    “Thank you so much, Justin. I love you too very much”. I said and drank everything in my glass, i almost swallowed something.
    I felt it with my tongue. Metal. How come?

    “Are you okay? “. Justin asked.
    I spat it out in my palm. What? A ring? Why? From where?. It disappeared from my palm and I look up to see Justin on a knee with the ring.

    What? Is it what am thinking?
    “Whenever I think about you, I know that no one else will ever hold my heart the way you do.

    When I think of the future, I like to picture us as two trees planted side by side, our roots growing together more firmly as the years go and our children sprouting like seedlings around.

    Ella… You deserve the best. Someone who will back up without limits. Let you grow without borders, and love you without end. Will you be mine? “.

    Oh my God. “Yes yes yes”. I screamed. He slip the ring on my finger and we hugged tight. I pulled out of the hug. “I love you, Justin”.

    “I love you most, Ella”.

    “Listen. I want you to know, you saying Yes means we’re getting married soon. I won’t want my lady to be lord of the rings and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you”.

    I giggled. “Well.. I have a good news for you”.

    “Good news? Bring it on, please”.
    I smiled and played with fingers. “Your sperm is growing in me”.
    “Hollup Ella, I don’t get. Are you kidding right now? Break it down to the last core”.

    “Nah. Am pregnant. Am carrying our child”. I reached for the test result on the mantel piece and hand it to him.

    He went through it. An a wow came out of his mouth.

    With all the strength in him, he carried me up and swung me around then he drop me.
    “Am so happy, am gonna be a father. Wow. Yes! “. He exulted, pumping in his fist in the air in delight.

    “Thank you so much, Ella, thank you”. He said and kissed my forehead.

    I just blushed. He turn me around and hug me from behind.

    “Let’s get that big ass of yours in the bedroom. We need to top it”.

    I giggled. “I hope you’re ready? Cos am gonna exhaust you tonight. I’ve missed your touch”.

    “How about we get to the field first? Then see who is gonna exhaust who”.

    “Right away, prince charming”.

    He kiss my nape and we went into the bedroom.

    ” Precious ” Ben called out with a surprised expression,lowering his guard as he seemed completely confused , but she swiftly shot him on his chest and blood sputtered out of Ben’s mouth as he stared at P2 with a shock countenance as he staggered behind a little, bracing himself from falling down with the support of the rail.

    P2 suddenly lowered the gun staring at Ben with a curious eye as she heard him called Precious but swiftly pointed the gun towards Ben again, as she made attempt to pull the trigger, Toy swiftly flung a knife at her which she swiftly caught few inches from hitting her.

    Toy swiftly ran towards Ben and pushed him off the rail as he also followed him and they both landed inside the water

    P2 swiftly got off the bike, dashed to the rail but Toy had already dragged Ben off to the bridge’s underneath where he already had a speed boat waiting for him in case he had to resort to plan c because of Ben.

    P2 moved back a bit then picked her speed as she dashed towards the rail, placed her right leg on its top using it to propelled herself upward as she gymnast herself, holding her legs as she did multiple front flips, then freed her leg when she’s few meter from dropping inside the ocean, propelled her hand upward then dived inside the water.

    She had already dived and wasn’t able to control herself from going down before she saw the boat which Toy was already about to start it.
    She swiftly swam to the surface but it was already too late as Toy was already far gone.

    She swiftly tried to target the speed boat but it was impossible as she frustratingly slammed her gun on the surface of the water.

    Ben’s p.o.v

    All seemed like a dream to me, I wouldn’t miss Precious for anyone even if I had seen her fifty years later, she could have aged but not to my eye and the oddest thing about the event was that Toy was the one to save me and Precious was the one making an attempt on my life, but I couldn’t blame her, I know what the mask was capable of doing, especially with a deadly weapon like her. But how she’s still alive was still a mystery to me.

    ” how are you doing ” Toy asked me after I woke up from sleep.

    After we escaped from P2 who was keen on killing me with the help of the speed boat which was surprisingly waiting for us on the ocean.
    On the shore we parked, a car driven by Mr Dandy was already waiting for us.
    And the funniest thing was that Mr Dandy was a young handsome guy, probably of same age with Toy, I knew at once that it was the effect of special effect make-up but couldn’t make any remark then because of my travail. I was injected by Toy as he soon as he helped me into the car and that was all I could remember before I finally open my eye and find myself inside a room with Toy standing beside me because he already knew when the sedative was gonna wear out.

    ” better ” I answered him as I checked where I was out.
    I was surprised not to be feeling any form of pain.

    Remembering the incident that happened, I swiftly checked my chest but no gun wound was on it nor do I feel any pain.

    ” already took care of that ” Toy said as he noticed that I was checking it out.

    ” that b—h really f—-d you there even with the scaly bullet proof you had on, the bullet was able to penetrate it ” he added staring at me.

    ” cut to the cheese , I don’t think you saved me because you need a chit chat partner , so get to the where you say what you want and if you’re gonna torture me to get it out, then let give it a go ” I said to him sitting up on the bed. I only had a white singlet on with a short.

    ” I love your audacity, keep it up, it’s gonna take you to places ” he said taking his seat beside me.

    ” you’re right,I’m not looking for a chit chat partner but I think we can form a tag team partner whereby we both work together to achieve our goals ” Toy added shocking me.

    ” what ” I exclaimed with a snort.

    ” why will you go against mask and form a team with me when you gat no shit with them ” I added staring at him.

    He smiled as he stared at me for few seconds.

    ” I’ve got an intuition that the final contest to select the last fight is another kind of entrance contest into another organization ” he started.

    ” I think the last five kids that lose in the contest and killed by final standing five are always scooped away and rescue for another purpose but it has only been a mere intuition which Cyber and I has no proof to back it up and after many failed attempts to validate it, we accepted defeat that my intuition was wrong and stopped investigating ” he added pausing for a while.

    ” so why do you need me ” I asked him.

    ” you seem to be in haste boy, chill, we’ve got the whole day to ourselves ” he said with a smirk.

    ” the b—h that shot you, she’s your roommate that you killed in the final contest right ” he asked with a mischievous smile, but I kept mute staring at him.

    ” I don’t forget someone whose face I’ve seen before and I recognized her the moment she parked that bike and was aiming for your life, the deadly stare she got when she was fighting you in that ring, she’s still got those attributes and I’m sure she’s the one and I’m also sure you recognize her the moment you set your eye on her, your expression said it all so I didn’t get the wrong person ” he enunciated widely focusing his stare on me trying to read me, my reactions, moods and change in emotion but I showed none.

    ” so what’s the deal ” I asked him with an indifferent tone.

    ” good, looks like we’re in the same boat now ” he said with a ridiculous smile.

    ” I’m sure she’s not working for mask, and based on Cyber investigation then, it looks like mask has a partnership with another organization which they supply with weapons {agents} and if that b—h ”

    ” don’t call her a b—h again ” I interrupted him angrily.

    ” do you got him ” I asked as he picked the call.

    ” Ben ” he called out shakily.

    ” idiot, I’m still alive, so do you got Charles ” I asked him.

    ” wow, yeah I’ve him with me he’s even right in front of me now ” Snap replied excitedly.

    ” good, track this phone and get here now, you’ve got only an hour to get there, we’re few steps from shutting down mask ” I told him before hanging the call before he start asking questions.
    I wanted to feed him with his own poison and make him know how I always feel when he put me in suspense.

    ” that’s impossible, that phone can’t be traced by anyone ” Cyber said to me.

    ” challenge accepted, wait for it ” I replied Cyber.

    ” now, let’s go over the aces I got over mask while we wait for Snap” I said to Toy as we settled down and I started bringing the two of them up about my plans but made sure I skipped some parts, you can’t blame me but you didn’t find it easy to fully trust them tho my instinct told me I should .

    ” Precious ” Ben called out with a surprised expression,lowering his guard as he seemed completely confused , but she swiftly shot him on his chest and blood sputtered out of Ben’s mouth as he stared at P2 with a shock countenance as he staggered behind a little, bracing himself from falling down with the support of the rail.

    P2 suddenly lowered the gun staring at Ben with a curious eye as she heard him called Precious but swiftly pointed the gun towards Ben again, as she made attempt to pull the trigger, Toy swiftly flung a knife at her which she swiftly caught few inches from hitting her.

    Toy swiftly ran towards Ben and pushed him off the rail as he also followed him and they both landed inside the water

    P2 swiftly got off the bike, dashed to the rail but Toy had already dragged Ben off to the bridge’s underneath where he already had a speed boat waiting for him in case he had to resort to plan c because of Ben.

    P2 moved back a bit then picked her speed as she dashed towards the rail, placed her right leg on its top using it to propelled herself upward as she gymnast herself, holding her legs as she did multiple front flips, then freed her leg when she’s few meter from dropping inside the ocean, propelled her hand upward then dived inside the water.

    She had already dived and wasn’t able to control herself from going down before she saw the boat which Toy was already about to start it.
    She swiftly swam to the surface but it was already too late as Toy was already far gone.

    She swiftly tried to target the speed boat but it was impossible as she frustratingly slammed her gun on the surface of the water.

    Ben’s p.o.v

    All seemed like a dream to me, I wouldn’t miss Precious for anyone even if I had seen her fifty years later, she could have aged but not to my eye and the oddest thing about the event was that Toy was the one to save me and Precious was the one making an attempt on my life, but I couldn’t blame her, I know what the mask was capable of doing, especially with a deadly weapon like her. But how she’s still alive was still a mystery to me.

    ” how are you doing ” Toy asked me after I woke up from sleep.

    After we escaped from P2 who was keen on killing me with the help of the speed boat which was surprisingly waiting for us on the ocean.
    On the shore we parked, a car driven by Mr Dandy was already waiting for us.
    And the funniest thing was that Mr Dandy was a young handsome guy, probably of same age with Toy, I knew at once that it was the effect of special effect make-up but couldn’t make any remark then because of my travail. I was injected by Toy as he soon as he helped me into the car and that was all I could remember before I finally open my eye and find myself inside a room with Toy standing beside me because he already knew when the sedative was gonna wear out.

    ” better ” I answered him as I checked where I was out.
    I was surprised not to be feeling any form of pain.

    Remembering the incident that happened, I swiftly checked my chest but no gun wound was on it nor do I feel any pain.

    ” that b—h really f—-d you there even with the scaly bullet proof you had on, the bullet was able to penetrate it ” he added staring at me.
