    They were in Caroline’s brother’s room now, playing Mortal Kombat on Playstation. The sky blue pyjamas that Caroline had gotten for David was laid out on the neatly made queen size bed. Bed sheet and walls were immaculate white and it got David wondering how Caroline’s brother maintained the place. The room had a little set up of a big couch facing the plasma TV by the wall, next to the door. There was a, deep brown, hardwood TV stand underneath the 60-inch TV where the Playstation console was placed on.

    A punch, uppercuts, kicks, and special moves; the sound of the game characters fighting echoed through the room. They were seated on the rug, between the couch and the TV stand, looking up at the TV with PS controllers in their hands, and grins on their faces as they battled themselves on screen. Every now and then Caroline would nudge him with her shoulder if he was winning her in the game, and sometimes she would tickle him a bit so that she could get some moves in. It surprised David to see her so playful. At some point, there was power outage, and they both groaned in protest.

    They had been using the generator all day, and power had been restored, so the gate-man had switched off the generator. When Ahmed switched over to the normal power about a minute later, they sat in silence as the Playstation 4 went through a booting process, projecting a bright sky blue light from the TV screen on their faces.

    “Is it wrong that I don’t this quarantine to end?” Caroline said, breaking the silence.

    “Hmm.”

    “I mean, our quarantine, not the total lockdown in the country.”
    “Well, let’s see…are you ready to handle a worried mother?” He said and she turned to look at him with a puzzled look on her face. “I’m talking of my mom being worried about Toluwani.”

    “Oh my God! Do you know I totally forgot your sister was here?” She said and laughed lightly. After a prolonged silence, she said, “I don’t know, it feels like I’ve known you longer than just a day.”

    “It feels that way with me too.” He said and the room went quiet again.

    The Playstation completed its load, and they continued playing the video game.
    ……….
    After playing two hours of video game, Caroline yawned and paused the game. “I think it’s past my bedtime.” She said with a little laugh and dropped the controller on the TV stand.

    “Your yawn is sexy.” David said with a smile.

    “My yawn is sexy?” She said between laughs, got off the floor and sat on the couch. “I’m so tired.” She said and collapsed sideways on the couch. After a while, she sat up, but didn’t leave. He sat up on the couch too and his heart started beating. Is this an opportunity to make a move, he thought to himself. Even though he had had girlfriends while in school, they had most times been in his class. Seeing them every day and knowing everything about them made it easy to approach them. But with this girl, he felt she was out of his league, and he didn’t want to read the wrong signs.

    He felt like the sound of his heartbeat would get louder than the sound of the air-conditioner any minute now. If only the space between them on the couch wasn’t too damn much, it would be easy to reach out and touch her. But what if she wasn’t thinking what he was thinking. Heck, they just met a few hours ago, this was definitely too soon. He thought to himself.

    “Oops! I almost dozed off.” She said and got off the couch. “I must be more tired than I had thought.” She said as she yawned and stretched. Even though the only light coming from the room was from the TV, he still got a glimpse of her flat belly. It was a sight pleasing to the eye. “If you need anything, my room is the second door to your left.” She said in a tired voice.

    “Okay.” He replied as she walked out the room and gently closed the door behind her. He sat still for a few seconds, then got off the couch and stretched. He walked over to the restroom, turned on the lights and looked himself in the mirror for a while. Caroline had told him earlier that he was lucky to have fallen on his side when he slumped, if not his face would have been a bloody mess. She had wiped off dust off his face while he slept, but when he looked deeper into the mirror, he saw a little spec of dirt in his hair. He turned on the tap and splashed water on his face a couple of times, and then onto his hair a few times too. He grabbed the white towel from where it hung on the wall and walked out of the bathroom as he dried his face and hair.

    David sat on the bed for a few seconds, but still felt too dirty to sleep, so he went back in the bathroom and turned the shower on. He got dressed, stepped in the bathtub, and got under the shower, shaking the first few seconds as cold water hit his naked body.

    There was big white bar of soap the head of the tub. He bent to grab it and washed his body quickly, as water from the shower washed off the foam on his body. He was about to be done when he thought he heard a voice. He turned off the shower and grabbed the towel by the wall as he stepped out the bathtub.

    “I was asking if you…” She was saying and her voice trailed off as he stepped out of the bathroom, bare chest, with the towel around his waist. David had had very little to do in the village he had been sent to for NYSC, so he spent most of his stay there building his muscles; little did he know that one day all that work on his body would pay off. He saw her staring at his chest in admiration for a few seconds too long before she caught herself and looked away. “Sorry, I wanted to ask if you…if you need me to bring up orange juice for you. I mean, just in case.”
    “Umm! No, I feel great. I don’t think I would that again anytime soon.” He said, feeling uncomfortable himself.

    ‘Okay. See you tomorrow.” She said, turned around and walked out of the room quickly.

    He watched her gently close the door and laughed lightly before heading back into the bathroom.

    “Haba Hannah, don’t you see my baby is in haste, even without his pictures. He is always in my heart, his smile and his cute face always keeps me going” Angel replied and came closer to me, our lips clicked and we shared our first public kiss. It felt so good, but I had an awkward feeling, I haven’t done that openly before.

    “I go love oohh” Hannah said and we all laughed, I left the girls after they said their goodbyes.

    Things began to change, Angel hardly called me except a new Month wants to start, which simply means send me money. Sometimes she won’t pick my calls or if she do, her mood will be very dull “Angel, I don’t understand you anymore. What is going on?” I had to complain to her on the phone when the madness is too much “baby, am sorry. Is just school stress, and my room mates are complaining about our night calls” she replied.

    I had no choice but to believe her, but one thing is certain our only communication is on calls. Am not really interested in social media like Facebook and others. Angel returned home for the section, I was very happy that I couldn’t help myself from singing all over the house. I was in love really intoxicated by Angel’s love.

    Angel wears are more seductive than before, there is a day she wore a gown that I could clearly make out the outlines of her panties, I was really worried. Hannah came visiting with Angel and took special liking on Ada my kid sister, they were like twin. Ada normally used my phone to communicate with her, I suspected that Hannah liked me.

    Hannah talks raw, one of those days she came visiting “Ada, you are a very beautiful girl, when your butts gets bigger boys will start chasing you like mad” she said and everyone laughed except me I was worried on the kind of influence she had on Ada.

    I was held at gun point that night, I was really unhappy. I kept on tossing on my bed, but I let that thought go cause I suspected Hannah said that to Ada as an act of jealousy, Angel can never cheat on me. One thing that gave me joy is that my sister vowed not to have a boyfriend without letting me know him.

    Angel’s year 1 result was out and her grade was at 4.6, I was really proud of her. We went out a night like that just her and me, I was surprised when Angel took two bottles of beer without being drunk. I couldn’t hold back my surprise that Christmas night “when do you start drinking alcohol?” I asked her, she smiled at me “our lecturer once told us is good for the body shape, can’t you see how am adding up for you and you alone” she said and cupped my cheeks, I giggled like a boy that was given ice cream.

    That year ended, I paid Angel’s school fees and wanted to book an accommodation for her in the school hostel in the year that followed but she objected “baby, please don’t oh. I really need a place where we can spend time together. anytime I wants to call you my room mates will be talking and their are lots of lesbians there. I am scared oh, before someone will come and take my virginity with her fingers” Angel told me the day I told her about my plans, I had no choice but to rent an apartment closed to the school compound for her.

She spent the first semester break in my house, I was really easily turned on then ’cause of the excessive cold. We were left alone i and Hannah in the house, so she came to my room to gist with me.

    Hannah is so beautiful, didn’t know what got into my head and we started kissing. Angel didn’t call or even bothered to come to the house so I was startled and panicked when a knock landed on the door “kpo! Kpo! Kpo!” We both tensed, “who is that?” I asked.

    The next day the warrior head decided to visit the igwe as early as possible, before the Queen would wake up, and so he set out on his way to the King’s palace.
    Suprisingly , he saw Nina sneaking our of the palace. She was dressed in casual clothes but the warrior head recognised her, he wondered why she was dressed like that and where she was sneaking to at the early hours of the morning, and so he decided to follow her.

    Nina walked past the forest deep down through thick bushes, and finally she got to where Chimamanda was patiently waiting. The warrior head continued to follow until he saw her talking with another young girl, he wanted to have a hood view of the girl to be able to identify her and also to hear whatever it was they wanted to discuss, and so he went a little bit closer and his himself carefully behind the leaves. He could hear them greeting each other clearly and exchanging pleasantries.

    Chimamanda: How is Azaza?

    Queen Nina: Dying slowly in my wardrobe.

    The warrior head was shocked to hear this. So the king was dying he thought to himself, no wonder the Queen had hidden him from being seen by his people. The Queen must be so evil. But who was this girl she was talking to?

    Chimamanda: that’s very good. Azaza will pau for his wicked deeds. What about the villagers how are they coping without water?

    Queen Nina: my princess, not good, animals have begun to die from lack of water, the crops are dying and even the people have started falling sick.

    Chimamanda: They will suffer for the choices they made. They chose to stay with their wicked queen and so they will suffer with him.

    Queen Nina: my princess , will the water ever be healed?

    Chimamanda: I have what I van use to restore the waters back to life, but not now. Let them all pay for their wickedness.

    Queen Nina: But there are some innocent persons that are suffering along side the king.

    Chimamanda : (,looks at her in a funny way) innocent ones like the Prince? (Nina kept her head down in silence) listen Nina whatever you are enjoying while in OKU , you can share with anyone you feel is innocent the prince included. I trust you, that is why we increased the portion of everything we brought in for you, water and food. If they aunt enough you can always order for more.

    Queen Nina: Thank you my princess. So what’s the next plan of action.

    Chimamanda: we take away their gold. For those gold, our land was destroyed, now we will take away everything from them. Do you know where they keep their treasures?

    Queen Nina: not really but I do have an idea. I have seen the king before lock up one of the chambers in the palace with strict warning for no one to go close. I believe the gold is there.

    (The warrior head knew that Nina was very right. The gold of OKU was safely locked up in that chamber. He understood that Nina and whoever this lady she was talking to is was both from EKEH, and he has heard all their plans. As he was about leaving he saw chimamanda remove her gloves.)

    Chimamanda: The king still has my royal ring. You must get it from him. That ring is a symbol of the kingdom of EKEH.

    QUEEN Nina: That is no problem at all, I will get it.

    (The warrior head quickly understood everything, this girl was the same princess of 11years ago whom he had ordered Aguyi to kill. He saw her fingers that was chopped off.)

    Warrior head: (to himself) I mist go back to the prince ad rescue the king and tell him all I’ve heard. (He turned to leave but a mighty wood hit him on his head and he fell to the ground, the sound attracted Nina and chimamanda, who quickly ran to the direction where it came from. They saw the warrior head, and they saw Ikenna standing over him with a big wood in his hand)

    Ikenna: I guess he followed you from the palace, he has been eaves dropping. Thank the gods I caught him here if not all our plans would have been ruined.

    Queen Nina: so what do we do with him now.

    Chimamanda: dont you worry about that, you return to the palace, Ikenna and I will take care of him.

    Queen Nina: okay my princess. (she hugged Ikenna once before she turned and hurried back to the palace, because it would be dawn soon and she wants to get back before anyone notices that she was gone.)

    Queen Nina ordered for Odogwu to be released after spending two days in the palace cell. When hr was brought before the Queen. Hr quickly knelt down before he would be imprisoned again.

    Odogwu: my Queen I am so sorry for my behaviour the last time, please forgive me.

    Queen Nina: look at me

    Odogwu; My Queen please forgive me, I am not worthy to look at you

    Queen Nina: I said raise tour head and look at me.

    (Odogwu raised his head and looked at the Queen, and then he recognised her, memories of her as a maid flooded his mind, he quickly jumped to his feet)

    Odogwu: what is the meaning if this rubbish? (turning to the guard) what is this maid doing sitting on the queens seat?( a quick slap in his face brought reality to him)

    Guard: Dont ever talk to the queen like that?

    Odogwu: Queen? What Queen? This maid? (Another slap landed on his face and it dawned on him that something was happening)

    Queen Nina: it’s obvious that you have gone mad. Now listen to me, you have been a bad boy, a very bad boy, for this reason the king has asked me to strip you of your title and take away all the entitlements and benefits he gave to you.

    Odogwu: what is the meaning of this? What are you trying to do.

    Queen Nina: From this moment, the lands given to you by the king are no longer yours. The house where you currently live in is no longer yours. Your wife and children have already been thrown out as we speak. You are to live as a commoner, in this land and the day you dare challenge or talk to anyone anyhow in this village you will be banished. (Prince Nnamdi stepped in just as she was finishing up her last statement)

    Prince Nnamdi: what is going on here?

    Odogwu: oh thank the gods! Thank the gods you are here, I dont know who this little maid thinks she is, she….

    Prince Nnamdi: excuse me,(he shouted at odogwu) you will address the Queen with respect!

    Odogwu: Queen? Queen? But how can that be? How can this maid be Queen?

    Prince Nnamdi: chief Odogwu are you okay? I just told you to address the Queen with respect and yet you are still talking nonsense?

    Odogwu: but how is it possible? How is she the Queen?

    Prince Nnamdi: well, it is what it is, this is queen Nina, my father’s new wife, and so she is the queen of this land and you will address her with respect.
    (Odogwu was shocked at this revelation, he didnt understand what was going on, he turned to leave but he suddenly stopped and talked to the Prince)

    Odogwu: But she is taking everything from me, she is rendering me homeless and penniless.

    Prince Nnamdi: yes Nina, sorry , tour majesty, what was that? I heard you say something before I came in.

    Queen Nina: it is what the king wants.

    Prince Nnamdi: But how can the want that, he and Odogwu are friends, for a long time now.

    Odogwu: yes! Good friends.

    Queen Nina: well I dont know, but that’s what he wants.

    Prince Nnamdi: well I have to speak to him, I have to understand why.

    Queen Nina: But you can’t speak with him.

    Prince Nnamdi: and why is that?

    Queen Nina: Because he doesn’t want to be disturbed

    Prince Nnamdi: well that’s bullshit (and he started walking towards Nina’s room, odogwu was happy, Nina had to do something before the Prince finds out what she is doing, she quickly ran and blocked the entrance to the door before the Prince could step in.

    Prince Nnamdi: what are you doing?

    Queen Nina: well you can’t go in there.

    Prince Nnamdi: why?

    Queen Nina: Because the king is naked, (Nnamdi stared at her) yes! The king is naked, we just finished making love and I told him I needed those titles taken away from Odogwu and he agreed and told me to go ahead and tell him.(the Prince looked at her for sometime, disgusted at her attitude and then walks away to his own room)

    Prince Nnamdi: I thought you were different, but I can see you and my father are a perfect matchc. (He walks away)

    Odogwu: (to the Prince) but what about me?

    Prince Nnamdi: do as your queen as ordered.(he walks away)

    **STILL SAME NIGHT – SPARTACUS’ LAIR**

    ….Spartacus turned around immediately and pointed a gun at her. On seeing that, she raised her hands up shivering infear

    ”pLease I’m Sorry, Please don’t shoot me please” Natasha pleaded but Spartacuswas still pointing the gun at her

    ” Please, I’m begging you, don’t kill me please” Natasha pleaded in much more fear and Spartacus brought down the gun

    ”What are you doing outside here?” Spartacus asked Natasha who exhaled heavily and brought down her hands

    ”Nothing” Natasha said

    ”Don’t you remove that mask even by night fall?” Natasha asked immediately before Spartacus could saying anything further and Spartacus looked at her but didn’t reply. He continued starring at the stars and Natasha walked very close to him relaxing her elbows on the iron bars following his eyes towards the stars.

    ”Why haven’t you killed me or taken me back to Chief Williams?? Why are you being this hospitable. Since I came here you haven’t touched me” Natasha said not bothering what might happen to her but Spartacus still didn’t say anything.

    ”Don’t you talk anymore?” Natasha asked

    ”After I told you my story, you said you’ve got a change of plans.. What was it about?? Was it about me??” Natasha asked

    ”The weak are not supposed to be left in oppresion” Spartacus said not looking at her

    ”What do you mean?” Natasha asked

    ”You have been used ruthlessly because you are weak, I have to end that” Spartacus said and Natasha was surprised

    ”How.. Why??” Natasha asked

    ”I told Chief Williams that I couldn’t find you, so you are free from him” Spartacus said

    ”By morning you should leave here and go to any place of your choice outside this State” Spartacus said and concentrated on the stars. Natasha couldn’t smile or laugh as she was filled in Surprise

    ”I know you are joking right?” Natasha asked

    ”Spartacus does not joke” Spartacus said and Natasha hugged him immediately but he broke the hug by sliding out a knife immediately

    ”Don’t come any closer to me my dear, or you will leave me no choice” Spartacus said and Natasha drew back

    ”If you are as kind as this and fighting for the weak, why then do you kill people and kidnap people?” Natasha asked and Spartacus looked at her deeply in silence but said nothing.

    ”Those stars, why are you starring at them since I was here” Natasha asked

    ”Those stars are my life, different sizes from big to small” Spartacus began and Natasha gave an attantive ear

    ”If you watch closely, those three big ones are dim in light but the small one is very bright” Spartacus said

    ”Why Is it so?” Natasha asked but Spartacus ignored her question

    ”Once, all the stars were glowing very bright, but now, one is left alone” Spartacus said and Natasha being intelligent grabbed the words of Spartacus

    ”You mean you lost your family just like I did?” Natasha asked

    ”Likely in a harsh manner” Spartacus replied

    ”So, that’s why you saved me” Natasha said to herself

    ”Life can really turn people into what they never want to be” Natasha said and stood in silence

    ”go in, pack your bag, sleep and get ready to leave this premises tomorrow morning” Spartacus said but Natasha still stood there

    ”I said Leave now!” Spartacus barked at her and she ran inside immediately

    ”I miss you all…” Spartacus said looking at the stars and he went inside also.

    THE NEXT MORNING

    ”Make sure you never come back to this city ever or Chief Williams will kill you” Spartacus said walking behind Natasha on the staircase.

    ”Thank You Sir. I really appreciate this Sir” Natasha said and opened the door. Spartacus nodded his head at her and she left… Immediately she left, Spartacus unmasked himself and his eyes were red and anger and tears..

    LATER THAT DAY

    ”Bella my dear, I’m so happy” Cynthia said happily to Bella her friend who sat beside her on the couch in Cynthia’s house

    ”Seriously, babe, what’s the secret..? You haven’t been this happy for weeks now” Bella said

    ”My dear, My dad has agreed to leave Country and everything” Cynthia said

    ”You mean, he wants to leave his political career and go to the states with your mother?” Bella asked looking disappointed

    ”Yes Of Course” Cynthia said breaking her smiles a bit

    ”Why?” Bella asked

    ”You won’t understand my dear.. It’s complicated.. Abeg, let’s talk about better things jhoor.. Today I am very happy” Cynthis said jumping up and down on the couch happily

    ”I’m also happy for you my dear” Bella pretended so as not to cause any Friendly noise around the buildin and they drank their wine chatting with smiles and laughter…

    CHIEF WILLIAM’S RESIDENCE

    Chief Williams was seen walking around his compound with his phone on his ears speaking with someone that seemed very important from the way he was answering the call.. Few minutes later, a car horn was heard from the outside and Alhaji, his gateman ran to Open the gate. Chief Williams looked towards the gate still answering the call to see who it was. On seeing that it was Prof. Mich’s car, he quickly hung up the call and stood still. Just then, Prof. Michael alighted form the car with two dark hefty tough looking men and a fair one who seemed not to be as huge as the other two..

    ”Are these the urchins I told you to get for me?” Chief Williams asked even before Prof. Michael could exchange pleasantries with him

    ”Yes, they are the best” Prof. Michael said

    ”How sure are you?” Chief Williams asked

    ”Huh?? Chief, are you now doubting my capabilities?” Prof. Mich asked rhetorically

    ”No.. I’m certainly not, just to know if they can be trusted” Chief Williams said and looked at the men

    ”Hey, what are your names?” Chief Williams asked

    ”Patronizer Sir” The first dark one said

    ”Hmmm.. You?” Chief Williams asked the second one

    ”Killer bean Sir” He answered and Chief Williams starred at him

    ”And you?” He turned to the fair guy

    ”Sir Whyte Sir” The fair guy said and Chief Williams nodded his head

    ”Fully armed?” He asked Prof. Michael

    ”Yes Chief..” Prof. Michael replied and escorted the guys inside

    ”If it’s not enough, I’ll get more ammunitions for them” Chief Williams said and continued his call..

    Few minutes later, Prof. Michael came back outside and looked at Chief Williams

    ”Why the eyes?” Chief Williams asked

    ”You do not look bright” Prof. Michael said

    ”Yes of course, that’s because my enemy is trying to escape my net” Chief Williams said

    ”And who is that?” Prof. Michael asked

    ”Chief Wilson.. I learnt he is planning to fly back to the States in few days time” Chief Williams said

    ”Then act immediately Chief.. Act!!” Prof. Michael said to him

    ”I am beginning to loose trust on Spartacus these days” Chief Williams added and Prof. Michael was shocked

    ”Why?” He asked

    ”I just don’t know.. Just a feeling” Chief Williams said

    ”Better drop those feelings Chief and defeat your enemies” Prof. Michael said, flinged his car keys and drove off.

    ”Sir Whyte!!!” Chief Williams called out and Sir Whyte ran out immediately

    ”Get me something cold” Chief Williams said and sat under the fancy tree where he was.

    LINDA’S OFFICE

    ”See, Stephen, I don’t know what went wrong with me last week but please I’m sorry” Linda pleaded to Stephen her colleague as they walked down the Passage of their Office

    ”And you think I’ll accept that?” Stephen asked

    ”Of course Yes” Linda said

    ”Then you must be a joker.. Trying to make me loose a huge sum of money for nothing I know about” Stephen said and hissed walking faster than her

    ”Stephen.. Stephen.. ” She called out but he didn’t reply so she walked to her Office and sat down immediately.. On sitting down, her phone got a text

    ”See me during break hours” Stephen said and Linda was surprised at the text..

    *BREAK HOURS

    ”Good day” Linda greeted walking majestically into Stephens’ office.

    ”I guess it’s been long I’ve come in here, some things don’t look same” Linda said

    ”That’s because you don’t care” Stephen said

    ”Huh?? How?” Linda asked

    ”You see Linda, despite the fact that I’m your colleague, I am your Boss but you don’t acknowledge that” Stephen began

    ”Of course I do.. I respect you very well” Linda said

    ”No.. Linda, you respect me but you don’t respect my feelings” Stephen said

    ”But I have apologised on that which you refused to listen” Linda said

    ”Not about that Linda.. My feelings for you, I have been trying to draw you close to me but you have been draw far awaying from me Linda” Stephen said

    ”How do you mean?” Linda asked

    ”Just spend a little time with me Linda and I will drop this case. I know this case concerns you that’s why you are behaving strangely these days. Just accept me and I’ll drop it Linda.. Please” Stephen said

    ”Is that a Love Confession or a Love threat?” Linda asked

    ”Whatever you call it Linda. I Love you” Stephen said

    ”And this is why you called me here right?” Linda asked

    ”Exactly” Stephen said and walked close to Linda chair trying to touch her

    ”I know you feel same for me, please don’t hide it” Stephen said bringing down his head

    ”Get your filthy hands off me before I scream now!” Linda said angrily standing up from the chair to Stephen’s surprise..

    Many things crossed my mind I was unsettled and confused as it was and the thing about it was I had to choose, Alec my long time boyfriend who claims to love me but is hiding something or Hunter the man who killed both my parents and is dangerous, needless to say they’re both dangerous.

    But the conversation about Alec and Hunter was still fresh on my mind after that Alec started acting all weird and possessive I can’t normally do this job I hate anymore.

    I’m the center of attention for the female staff point of view, for Hunter they could not normally chat with him but with Alec, they are always flirting and trying to be on my good side bitter about the fact I got two men in my favor..

    One of them was hinting I say a word or two in her favor to Hunter since she noticed Hunter was more friendly towards me.

    Alec came over more often trying to help but he suffocated me with less freedom like he was trying to cover up for something.

    The shot concluded early, tommorow they are doing a shot in Hunter’s pool and I had to clean it by the end of today but I had time to spare a few, the staffs were moving the equipments to storage.

    Paisley was having a word with the director, Alec walked up to me while I helped in moving some stuff to the storage.

    He helped me out with it, it was not even heavy but he did anyways.

    we both walked quietly to the storage van.

    “Since you concluded, how about we have a proper date here in Romania the city of love.” I looked back at him my brows furrowed.

    “That’s Paris genius and besides you’ll bail like last time.” I kept bringing up the incident of a few days ago, Alec sighed exhausted I haven’t quit the memory.

    “I had stuff to take care of ? ” he exaggerated but I didn’t react I still managed to pull off a believing pout. “Like what? ” I asked while his eyes left mine and I traced it to Paisley who was heading our way with Hunter for a moment they look awfully a lot like a couple.

    “Amirah let’s go you promised we would go shopping and try out some bikinis for tommorow’s shot.” Paisley had no shame saying it in front of both Hunter and Alec, I’m going to choke her.

    “She is already booked for a date with her boyfriend.” Alec snickered.

    “So what the fuck do I care? She’s my shopping buddy and I’m not leaving without her Alec Rhett.” Paisley snarled.

    “How about we all go shopping for me and Paisley first and later tour the city, it could be a great opportunity to know the city.” I suggested, Hunter shook his head.

    “I’m sorry to disappoint but I have something important to do I don’t really think it’s necessary to go with any of you.” his glare was staring back at Alec.

    “Oh please Hunter, it will be quick and besides Amirah is going to try out a few bikinis.” my cheeks heat up and my eyes ran back to Hunter.

    “Who would say no to that.” Hunter smirked back at me while I try to figure what I’ve gotten myself into.

    We took Alec’s car, Alec and Paisley were in the front while me and Hunter were at the back, Hunter was calm scrolling through his phone, Alec was stealing glances at the rearview mirror while Paisley tried to bring the mood on.

    “I can’t wait for this shoot to be exhausted, Romania is frustrating.” Paisley said.

    “Be grateful you’re famous in somewhere.” Alec hissed at her from the rearview mirror I could see Paisley roll her eyes.

    “what are you grateful for Amirah? ” Paisley asked.

    “I’m grateful my arms didn’t fall off from holding the microphone all day.” I hissed rubbing my arms it fucking hurts.

    “A massage will fix that right up, I told you we should have gone to that massage parlor.” she gloated while I rolled my eyes.

    “Well I’m grateful I got to spend time with my girlfriend.” Alec mentioned, Paisley scoffed pushing her head out so I could see her from the back while she mocked Alec quietly.

    “I can still hear you? ” Alec noted.
    “I know, we get it you love Amirah and can’t wait to be alone with her and rip her panties.” my leg kicked Paisley’s seat at the back while she giggled like a maniac.

    “So when an I going to be a godmother Alec, I want babies.” she pouted while Alec shook his head.

    “Then get a sperm donor who happily would.” Alec dissed while Paisley got burned and turned to the back again.

    “Hunter what are you grateful for? ” I looked back at Hunter who was still on his phone and he didn’t just reply it was awkward.

    “What’s wrong with you? ” I mouthed to Paisley.

    “Amirah.” Hunter called
    “yes ?” I answered while he looked me deeply at my orbs.

    “That’s it, I’m grateful for Amirah.” he said while Paisley tried to dial down her shock and sat down, I don’t know if he did it on purpose to shut Paisley up because it worked or he was being sincere, the ride to the mall was quiet.

    We got to the mall and Paisley pulled me right over to a boutique we quickly dashed in the changing room.

    “What’s with you and Hunter? ” she asked

    “Wait, that’s what you pulled in here for? ” I stared at her in disbelief.

    “What’s going on? Does Hunter have feelings for you? Do you have feelings for Hunter what about Alec? ” she quickly bombarded me with questions.
    “Nothing is going on, he just did that to shut you up and it worked.” at first she didn’t buy but then she gasped.

    “That no good moody bastard, for a second I thought he had feelings for you.” I arched my brows at her..

    “What’s bad about Hunter having feelings for me? Do you also like him? ” I flare up.

    “No sweetie, Hunter isn’t my type he’s too busy and mysterious I don’t want guys like the Dominiquez I’m not getting into that kind of shit with Hunter I’ve had enough from dating Derek.” she said. “So what’s your deal? ” I asked.

    “Look Amirah, I love you you’re like my sister that’s why I can trust you and you need to trust me Hunter isn’t one one to be with, he’s always secretive, busy and mysterious I don’t want you to get hurt, like for example my sisters marriage.” I wanted to say you’re already too late for advising but I just kept my shit.

    “I know Paisley, you’re just looking out for me besides Hunter is just being Hunter.”

    “If he wasn’t dark and mysterious I would have probably nabbed him, minus his dark auora Hunter is a pretty great guy and would do anything to make the ones he loves happy and even though he hurts you so much he’ll be the kind to accept his mistakes not like his stupid twin Derek.” Paisley said and it made me think.

    “When did you get so smart? ” I asked.

    “They didn’t make me Ambassador for nothing.” she grinned. “Besides even if you and Hunter do have feelings for each other I’ll try to have an open mind but if he he tries hurting you I’m getting my bazooka.” she gloated while we both chuckle..

    One of the female retailers drew out the curtains and started speaking romanian, god I wish I knew what the hell she was trying to say.

    Paisley spoke back in romania while interacting easily with the retailer, the retailer nodded and left.

    “She said we need to leave that other customers wants to try out their outfits.” Paisley said as we both left the changing booth.

    “you speak Romanian? ” I asked.
    “I came here as an ambassador and you think I won’t learn the language? ” we both giggled leaving the boutique and head to the swim swear boutique.

    Thankfully we were alone trying different swim suit, actually Paisley was trying out everything until she was done and forced me into trying different ones until I landed into the perfect swim wears.

    “Oh my God, you look sexy I bet this could get a reaction from Hunter.” Paisley smirked though she was right I looked smoking but I’m not wearing this while cleaning Hunter’s pool.

    I turned around. “Damn that ass.” Paisley catcalls while I rolled by eyes at her.

    “you pull that off way better than me.” she puts on her phone in the air.

    “Damn again that ass.” she says again just to annoy me.

    “I’ll be spanking yours if you don’t quit.” she smirked at my reply. “I don’t mind I’m tired of doing dicks.” she wiggled her brows as we both chuckled and checked out of the store, she was still looking at the picture.

    “I’m gonna tell my grandkids this was my lesbian lover before I married their grandfather who ever he is.” I couldn’t help but laugh at her insane suggestion.

    We both went over to Alec and Hunter who were busy ignoring each other existence, Hunter got up quickly walking up to me.

    “You guys got everything you need? ” Hunter asked as Alec got up exhausted from boredom.

    “I’m hungry let’s go eat.” Paisley suggested, I noticed a few people were looking at us when they passed.

    “Sure, let’s get pizza and beer.” Alec insisted.

    “No I don’t want Beer let’s get healthy options.” we all looked at Paisley carefully in shock.

    “Did you just say no to beer? ” Alec asked first in shock. “Yes what’s wrong? ” she asked.

    “Are you okay? ” we looked back at her and she nodded.

    “Guys, I’m an Ambassador I need to start taking care of my body.” I was dumbstruck, this is the same Paisley who went to a club a few days ago and sneaked some alcohol back into her apartment, she’s alcoholic crazy.

    “OK then let’s go to the food court we can order different options.” Hunter said as we all got our orders and sat down at the farther end of the food court.

    Alec got a beer and sushi, I got pizza and fries, Paisley suffered with her salad while Hunter only got a beer.

    Again I noticed a few people were awed In amazement as they passed by our table.

    “That looks like Hunter Dominiquez, Paisley and Alec Rhett who the fuck is she? ” I heard some mummur, Paisley got something stuck on her teeth Alec tried helping her trace where it is.
    Wait they could speak English maybe they were foreigners.

    “it is, maybe she’s the rumoured mistress of Hunter Dominquez.” one of them mummered.

    “She’s so pretty, why won’t Hunter wanna fuck her she’s so lucky.” I looked back at Hunter who was looking at me.

    My cheeks heat up as Hunter smirked.

    He heard

    “Is something bothering you? ” he looks back slightly, the girls murmuring squealed in excitement that they got Hunter to look at them.

    “No.. ” I stuttered quietly going back to quietly eat my food.
    We were done eating and were all out of the food court.

    “I’m stuffed and now I’m bored.” Paisley said while we helped put her bags at the trunk of Alec’s car.
    “Let’s go hot hair ballooning.” Alec suggested.

    “What’s that ?” I asked.

    “it’s kind of a giant balloon tied to a basket big enough to lift two people or more they are setting a few, we should go check it out.” Alec said and we were already bought, Paisley was busy on her phone the whole trip.

    We got to the field where a few people lined up, Hunter was up at front followed by me then followed by Paisley and lastly Alec.

    Hunter got in and reached out to pull me in the big alike basket, Paisley wanted to enter but they didn’t let her in.

    “it’s only a maximum of 2.” one of the wielders said informing Hunter on how to ride the hot air balloon.

    “Don’t worry we’ll catch the next one.” Paisley said, Hunter pulled down a rope as flames heat up the balloon, the basket lifted up slowly with us, I looked down waving at both Paisley and Alec who looked upset.

    We were far down from the ground, I looked round to feel the wind splashing against my face.

    I pushed my hair away my eye to see clearly but I gave up turning to Hunter who wore a wide smile.

    “That’s unusual.” I said holding to one of the ropes to get a balance.
    “What? That I can ride a hot hair balloon pretty awesome.” he grinned.

    “You probably had training when you were young, or learned quickly from one of your missions.” I gloated.

    “Exactly, my mom taught me I was 13, she took me and Derek hot hair ballooning I was thrilled and also purposely tried to push Derek a lot of times” I giggled at his reply.

    “Same thing with my sister we always went joyriding on one of my dad’s boat’s she used to gloat about being better than me because she knew how to swim, I pushed that crackhead into the water.” I giggled thinking about all the fun I used to have.

    “I used to have fun.” Hunter smiled sadly.

    “So you’re saying all today you didn’t have fun? ” I asked.

    “I did with you right now.” he slowly leaned on to me holding on the the ropes, he was an inch away from me.

    “Imagine we take this to anywhere we want to, you me and no one else, no worries, no past no future…” his breath warmed my face I looked him up in the eyes, I felt my heart pounding I wanted to look away but I couldn’t.

    “Let’s be each other shoulders to lean on.” he slowly leaned as the sunset strayed directly at us, we were about to kiss until the timer rang.

    Did you know there is a timer for every hot hair balloon you take, cause I didn’t..

    We both withdrew from our supposed kiss as Hunter smiled why I looked away staring at the sunset.

    What is he doing to me ?
    We later got down from the hot hair balloon and the borrowing of Hot hair balloons was closed, we all got back to Alec’s car and he drove us to home..

    I couldn’t hang out with Alec because I had to go to Paisley’s to get clothes since I would be sleeping over at Hunter’s and I was supposed to clean Hunters pool, I was already at Hunters place I went to his room and put on the bikini looking back at the mirror.

    The thought of Hunter seeing me like this killed my self esteem so instead I raked through few of his buttoned up long sleeved shirt.

    I picked a white one and wore it quickly, Hunter came into the room looking back at me in shock.
    “Is that my shirt? ” he asked.

    “I’m not comfortable with what Paisley thought I’d wear.”
    speaking of the she devil she called. I picked up my phone walking out of the room.

    “Remember that picture I took of you today in those bikinis.” my eyes widened in shock.

    “What did you do? I told you not to send them to Alec or your directors.”

    “I didn’t, I wanted to send some pictures for Hunter to look at and I mistakenly sent it please forgive me.” I felt like the devil was playing with my emotions.

    “Paisley you’ve killed me.” I whispered

    “Look I’m coming over with a few of the directors to talk to Hunter about the sponsorship, maybe he hasn’t seen it just start cleaning the pool so when I get there I can probably get his phone and erase it.” she said..

    “What if he’s seen it ?” I asked
    “Say your prayers.” she advised and hangs up, Hunter was on his phone when he came down looking back at me.

    “I’m off to clean the pool.” he nodded looking back at his phone sharing no reaction whether he’s seen the pic or not, I just heave a deep sigh, he hasn’t seen it so I’m safe.

    He was drinking earlier with his shirt on but came outside relaxing without his shirt with a bottle by his side.

    I tugged the white shirt I had on down as he smirked, one of the bottles of chlorine was next to him so I had to walk up to him by his side and picked the bottle.

    “Nice bikinis.” I’m dead he saw the picture.

    “Is that why you’re wearing my shirt? ” he questioned while I froze.

    “you don’t need my opinion but you look hot by the way, with my shirt or not.” my cheeks flushed.
    “I need to go clean the pool sir..” he takes away the bottle away from my grasp and puts it away and pulls me ontop of him.

    “I think I’m drunk miss.” he feigned looking into my eyes as his breath hypnotize me.

    “Is that so? ” I grinned I don’t know what witchcraft got me to run my fingers down Hunter’s torso down to his abbs.

    “Can you make me sobber miss? ” he said riding his hands down my ass and pulling me closer.

    “Like how? ” I teased playing with Hunters hair, he smirked lipping me in a kiss.

    Our lips crashed into each other like they’ve been denied co existence for over a century, I brushed my tongue against his lower lip and gently bite his lips he moaned in my mouth leaving my tongue wondering into his mouth as our tongues battle in intense dominance exploring each others taste of tongues.

    We both disengage from the kiss as Hunter looked be back into the eyes and teased my lips with kisses.

    I kissed him back greedily wanting to taste his tongue.

    “I love you.” Hunter whispered in between the kisses, I pulled back from the kiss looking him back at his eyes.

    We were far down from the ground, I looked round to feel the wind splashing against my face.

    “That’s unusual.” I said holding to one of the ropes to get a balance.

    I couldn’t hang out with Alec because I had to go to Paisley’s to get clothes since I would be sleeping over at Hunter’s and I was supposed to clean Hunters pool, I was already at Hunters place I went to his room and put on the bikini looking back at the mirror.

    speaking of the she devil she called. I picked up my phone walking out of the room.

    “it’s kind of a giant balloon tied to a basket big enough to lift two people or more they are setting a few, we should go check it out.” Alec said and we were already bought, Paisley was busy on her phone the whole trip.

    We got to the field where a few people lined up, Hunter was up at front followed by me then followed by Paisley and lastly Alec.

    Hunter got in and reached out to pull me in the big alike basket, Paisley wanted to enter but they didn’t let her in.

    “it’s only a maximum of 2.” one of the wielders said informing Hunter on how to ride the hot air balloon.

    “Don’t worry we’ll catch the next one.” Paisley said, Hunter pulled down a rope as flames heat up the balloon, the basket lifted up slowly with us, I looked down waving at both Paisley and Alec who looked upset.

    We were far down from the ground, I looked round to feel the wind splashing against my face.

    I pushed my hair away my eye to see clearly but I gave up turning to Hunter who wore a wide smile.

    “That’s unusual.” I said holding to one of the ropes to get a balance.
    “What? That I can ride a hot hair balloon pretty awesome.” he grinned.

    “You probably had training when you were young, or learned quickly from one of your missions.” I gloated.

    “Exactly, my mom taught me I was 13, she took me and Derek hot hair ballooning I was thrilled and also purposely tried to push Derek a lot of times” I giggled at his reply.

    “Same thing with my sister we always went joyriding on one of my dad’s boat’s she used to gloat about being better than me because she knew how to swim, I pushed that crackhead into the water.” I giggled thinking about all the fun I used to have.

    “I used to have fun.” Hunter smiled sadly.

    “So you’re saying all today you didn’t have fun? ” I asked.

    “I did with you right now.” he slowly leaned on to me holding on the the ropes, he was an inch away from me.

    “Imagine we take this to anywhere we want to, you me and no one else, no worries, no past no future…” his breath warmed my face I looked him up in the eyes, I felt my heart pounding I wanted to look away but I couldn’t.

    “Let’s be each other shoulders to lean on.” he slowly leaned as the sunset strayed directly at us, we were about to kiss until the timer rang.

    Did you know there is a timer for every hot hair balloon you take, cause I didn’t..

    We both withdrew from our supposed kiss as Hunter smiled why I looked away staring at the sunset.

    What is he doing to me ?
    We later got down from the hot hair balloon and the borrowing of Hot hair balloons was closed, we all got back to Alec’s car and he drove us to home..

    I couldn’t hang out with Alec because I had to go to Paisley’s to get clothes since I would be sleeping over at Hunter’s and I was supposed to clean Hunters pool, I was already at Hunters place I went to his room and put on the bikini looking back at the mirror.

    The thought of Hunter seeing me like this killed my self esteem so instead I raked through few of his buttoned up long sleeved shirt.

    I picked a white one and wore it quickly, Hunter came into the room looking back at me in shock.
    “Is that my shirt? ” he asked.

    “I’m not comfortable with what Paisley thought I’d wear.”
    speaking of the she devil she called. I picked up my phone walking out of the room.

    “Remember that picture I took of you today in those bikinis.” my eyes widened in shock.

    “What did you do? I told you not to send them to Alec or your directors.”

    “I didn’t, I wanted to send some pictures for Hunter to look at and I mistakenly sent it please forgive me.” I felt like the devil was playing with my emotions.

    “Paisley you’ve killed me.” I whispered

    “Look I’m coming over with a few of the directors to talk to Hunter about the sponsorship, maybe he hasn’t seen it just start cleaning the pool so when I get there I can probably get his phone and erase it.” she said..

    “What if he’s seen it ?” I asked
    “Say your prayers.” she advised and hangs up, Hunter was on his phone when he came down looking back at me.

    “I’m off to clean the pool.” he nodded looking back at his phone sharing no reaction whether he’s seen the pic or not, I just heave a deep sigh, he hasn’t seen it so I’m safe.

    He was drinking earlier with his shirt on but came outside relaxing without his shirt with a bottle by his side.

    I tugged the white shirt I had on down as he smirked, one of the bottles of chlorine was next to him so I had to walk up to him by his side and picked the bottle.

    “Nice bikinis.” I’m dead he saw the picture.

    “Is that why you’re wearing my shirt? ” he questioned while I froze.

    “you don’t need my opinion but you look hot by the way, with my shirt or not.” my cheeks flushed.
    “I need to go clean the pool sir..” he takes away the bottle away from my grasp and puts it away and pulls me ontop of him.

    “I think I’m drunk miss.” he feigned looking into my eyes as his breath hypnotize me.

    “Is that so? ” I grinned I don’t know what witchcraft got me to run my fingers down Hunter’s torso down to his abbs.

    “Can you make me sobber miss? ” he said riding his hands down my ass and pulling me closer.

    “Like how? ” I teased playing with Hunters hair, he smirked lipping me in a kiss.

    Our lips crashed into each other like they’ve been denied co existence for over a century, I brushed my tongue against his lower lip and gently bite his lips he moaned in my mouth leaving my tongue wondering into his mouth as our tongues battle in intense dominance exploring each others taste of tongues.

    We both disengage from the kiss as Hunter looked be back into the eyes and teased my lips with kisses.

    I kissed him back greedily wanting to taste his tongue.

    “I love you.” Hunter whispered in between the kisses, I pulled back from the kiss looking him back at his eyes.
