          Aakash’s Pov:
    I sat beside the bed as I watched my Krishna lying peacefully on the bed. 
    I shook my head in depression. 
    For the past one week since our son disappeared, Krishna has never been herself. 
    She almost died today. 
           Flashback 👈
    Krishna continued knocking on the door and screaming for help. 
    But the flames was too much so she collapsed. 
    I came home cos I forgot some files at home. 
    That was when I heard her knocking and screaming. 
    I came to help her out but the door was locked with a padlock. 
    I was shocked! 
    Could it be that someone locked her up to die? 
    I saw the flames rushing out of the store room. 
    I broke the door and rescued her as the firemen came and quenched the fire.
         Present 👉
    I breathed heavily…. 
    💭 Thank goodness! She’s safe 💭 I thought. 
    Just then, Father rushed into the house with mother, Vishnu And Pavitra. 
    “What the hell is wrong with this crazy wife of yours? Does she want to burn down my mansion?” Father fired angrily. 
    “This is really getting out of hand! She has gone totally insane” Vishnu added 
    I only kept mute staring at them.
    “You are not saying anything Aakash?” Father asked 
    “Father she’s just depressed about her son’s kidnap” I managed to say. 
    “What depression? Should that make her burn down the mansion?” Vishnu yelled at me. 
    I was so gobsmacked.
    “I think that woman has gone crazy….” Father said 
    “What? Father my wife is not crazy” I said defensively. 
    “Oh yes! She has gone nuts…” Vishnu said 
    “Vishnu I won’t tolerate you calling my very own wife crazy” I said furiously. 
    “Father you know what? We might just go to sleep one day and end up burnt in the morning all because of one crazy woman in the midst of sane people” Vishnu said as I raised my hand to slap him but mother held me back. 
    “I think Vishnu is right… First thing tomorrow morning, Krishna will be taken to a mental hospital… An asylum” Father said as my mouth opened in surprise. 
    “Father!…” I called shocked 
    “You heard me….” Father said as tears rolled down my cheeks. 
    “This is so unfair!” I screamed 
    “No Aakash! This is for her own good… She needs to get better” Mother said. 
    “Mother are you telling me you believe that my wife is crazy?” I half yelled 
    “My son truth must be said! She’s acting crazy” Mother said as I scratched my head in annoyance. 
    “Hell no! Infact am moving out of this house for good with my wife” I said 
    “You dare not Aakash…. Try me and see” Father said as I sank on the bed in anger. 
           Krishna’s Pov:
    I weakly opened my eyes… 
    I saw everyone sitting beside me with long faces. 
    “Have you seen him? Is he in his car? Did you bring him?” I asked as I sprang up .
    “Calm down Krishna!” Aakash said as he held me but I pushed him away. 
    “Someone talk to me! Have you seen my son? Have you seen Kush? My son was crying earlier…” I cried jumping up and down as Aakash held me tight. 
    “You see this lady is very crazy” Father said as he walked away. 
    “He’s crying… My son is crying” I yelled. 
    “You need to rest Krishna” Pavitra said as I shook my head in disagreement. 
    “No! I want my son… He was crying!! Bring back my son” I kept shouting. 
    SOME MINUTES LATER 
    A lady walked in with a nurse attire. 
    She was holding a syringe. 
    I was still shouting and jumping…. 
    They held me down and injected me with the syringe 💉 
    Slowly, I fell asleep….

    I opened my eyes… 
    I was chained in a bed…. 
    The room looked like a hospital… 
    “Where am I?” I asked no-one in particular. 
    There was no one in the room and my voice echoed. 
    Just then, the door was opened as Aakash, Father in-law, Pavitra and mother in law came in. 
    “Aakash Sir please help me! I don’t wanna be here” I cried
    “You have to get better Krishna so that we can find our son together” Aakash said with a teary voice. 
    “Yes Krishna! You are mentally unstabled so you need to be treated” Father in-law said. 
    “No! Am not crazy! Am perfectly fine” I cried bitterly 
    “Am sorry but you have to get better” Pavitra cried aloud. 
    I kept screaming and pleading to them to untie me to no avail. 
             Lakshmi’s Pov:
    I read the newspaper with my glasses fixed to my eyes. 
    I burst into laughter… 
    “Finally I’ve gotten rid of Krishna… They have taken her to the asylum thinking that she’s insane” I smiled. 
    Now I have to focus on how to get my dear daughter into the mansion. 
    My cell phone rang aloud…. 
    it was the buyers of the baby… 
    I smiled broadly! 
    😋 cool cash 💰 😋 
    📞Hello….  My voice echoed 
    📞Ma’am where are you? We are ready to buy him…. They said and I smiled happily. 
    📞I’ll be there soon… I smiled mischievously 
    📞OK ma’am…. They said and I hung up.

    At the palace, everything was already set for the birthday celebration. Guests started trooping in one after the other, and the king and his wife stood to welcome them warmly.
    Although Alex was already dressed in his room, he was consumed by worry about Naomi. No one had called him yet, and even Nathan’s number wasn’t going through. He paced around his room, his mind racing with anxiety.
    Meanwhile, Mrs. Ruth stepped out to the corner of the house to make a phone call. She dialed Mia and Naomi’s numbers, but neither connected. Then, she dialed Mr. Daniel’s number. It rang, and he picked up.
    “Finally, someone’s cell phone went through,” Mrs. Ruth said. “I’ve been trying to reach the girls, but none of their numbers are connecting.” She waited for Mr. Daniel’s response, but he was quiet. “Are you there, Mr. Daniel?” she asked.
    “Everything is not fine here,” Mr. Daniel spoke up, his voice somber.
    “What’s going on? What happened?” Mrs. Ruth asked, concern on her voice.
    Mr. Daniel sighed sadly from the other end of the phone.
    Inside the living room, Nathan’s family arrived, and they were welcomed warmly. The women hugged each other, while their husbands shook hands and exchanged pleasantries. Diva came over to welcome them.
    “Where is Nathan? Why is he not with you guys?” Diva asked.
    “Oh, he’s not here yet?” Mrs. Adam replied. “We thought he was here because he hurriedly left the house since this morning.”
    “Why? Is everything okay?” Queen Lala asked.
    “We don’t know,” Anna said, and they all sighed, sensing that something was amiss.
    Back in Alex’s room, he continued to pace around, his heart racing with worry like a caged animal. Suddenly, his cell phone rang, and he hurriedly picked it up without checking the caller ID, his eyes closed in hope that it was Naomi.
    “Naomi,” he called out, his voice filled with longing.
    “Alex,” Nathan answered from the other end of the phone, his tone somber.
    “Nathan, what happened? Where are you? Why haven’t I seen you since this morning? Are you at the party now?” Alex asked, his questions tumbling out rapidly, like a burst dam.
    “No, something came up,” he replied, his voice measured.
    “What happened? Is everything okay?” Alex asked, his concern growing, his voice rising in panic.
    “Alex, promise me you’ll be calm,” Nathan said, trying to prepare him for the news.
    “Calm for what? Right now, I’m losing my mind!” Alex exclaimed, his frustration boiling over like a volcano. “I can’t get through to Naomi. She came by this morning to give me her present, and we even slept together in the same bed. But when I woke up, I couldn’t find her, and no one knows when she left. I’m damn worried!”
    Nathan was taken aback by Alex’s explanation about Naomi, his eyes widening in surprise.
    “Naomi came by this morning?” Nathan asked to be sure.
    “Yes, although I noticed something strange about her, but she wouldn’t tell me, I don’t know—” Alex said, before Nathan cut him off.
    “Naomi is in the hospital,” he said bluntly, his words like a punch to Alex’s gut.
    “What did you say?” He asked, his voice shaking like a leaf, his world crashing down around him.
    Meanwhile, downstairs, everyone was having a great time, laughing and chatting. Diva and Elora were engrossed in conversation, and cool music filled the air.
    Alex rushed down from his room, panic etched on his face like a scarlet letter. His eyes were wild, his movements frantic. Everyone turned to him, concerned by the look on his face, their smiles faltering.
    As he rushed down, he bumped into one of the maids holding a tray of drinks. The drinks crashed to the ground, causing a chaos that was nothing compared to the storm brewing inside Alex.
    He didn’t stop or look back. He rushed out of the palace without waiting to answer anyone’s questions, leaving behind a sea of confused faces.
      
       
    At the hospital, Mrs. Ruth was beside herself, sobbing uncontrollably after finding out what had happened.
     “God, please, don’t allow anything to happen to my daughter, please,” she begged, her voice cracking with emotion, her body shaking like a leaf.
    “Nothing will happen to her, Alex will save her,” Nathan said, trying to reassure her.
    “But why didn’t any of you say it sooner?” Mrs. Ruth demanded, her voice laced with anguish and blame, her eyes red-rimmed from crying.
    “Mom, this is not the time to raise blame, Naomi’s survival is our only priority now,” Mia said.
    “Nothing will happen to my daughter, let me take her place, God,” Elena wailed, her body convulsing with sobs, her eyes streaming with tears like a never-ending river.
    Just then, Alex burst into the hospital, bleeding profusely from the head. His face was pale, and his eyes were glassy.
    It turned out that while he was driving at breakneck speed, his brakes failed, and his car  crashed into a pole. He hit his head hard on the steering wheel, making him bleed from the head.
    Despite his injuries,  managed to stumble out of the car, which was now a crumpled mess. Some good Samaritans stopped to help him, but he refused their assistance, reassuring them he was fine.
    A taxi had come over, and he  jumped in, driving off to the hospital. The people stared after him, confused and concerned.
    “Alex!” Nathan exclaimed, rushing to his side as he stumbled into the hospital. “What happened to you?” he asked, as he took in Alex’s bloody head.
        
    “Where is Naomi? Please let me see Naomi,” Alex begged weakly, his eyes pleading with desperation.
    “Oh my gosh!” Mia exclaimed, her hand flying to her mouth in shock.
    “Let’s get the doctor,” Mr. Daniel said, already rushing off to find medical help.
    “No!” Alex yelled with all his remaining strength, his eyes locking onto Nathan’s. “Take me to Naomi, please,” he begged, tears streaming down his face like a river.
    “I will,” Nathan said softly.
    The doctor rushed over, shocked by the sight of the prince.
     “Your Highness,” he called out, rushing to Alex’s side.
    Alex grabbed the doctor’s arms, his grip surprisingly strong. “I’m here now, take my blood and save her,” he said, his voice firm before he passed out.
    Nathan and the doctor were quick to catch him, holding him up as everyone looked on in surprise. They took him  away to one of the rooms for treatment. 
    Back at the palace, the party was going slow, with guests whispering among themselves in surprise and concern about Alex’s sudden departure. His family was trying to reach him, but to no avail. 
    “Why did he run off like that?” Diva asked, her brow furrowed with worry.
    “I hope everything is fine,” Mrs. Adams said,  “It’s just like the way Nathan left the house this morning.”
    “What could be going on?” King Luke asked, his eyes scanning the room for answers.
    “Look, there’s an accident,” one of the guests said, pointing to the TV. 
    Everyone turned to the screen, the music stopped, and the volume increased. The video showed a ghastly motor accident involving a truck. The CCTV camera captured the moment of the accident, and King Luke’s eyes widened in shock as he saw Naomi among the victims.
    His memory flashed back to why Alex had rushed out of the house like that. 
    “This is not good,” King Luke said.
    Back at the hospital, the doctor commenced a quick treatment on Naomi after taking blood from Alex. However, Alex was still unconscious.
    Nathan and Mia were by his side, their faces etched with worry. The rest of the family was outside the corridor, waiting anxiously for the doctor’s report.
    The hospital was filled with the sound of beeping machines and the soft murmur of worried conversations. 
      
         
    Hours ticked by, and everyone was still waiting patiently for the doctor in the emergency room. Alex was still unconscious, a white bandage wrapped around his head as a nurse worked on his treatment. Mia and Nathan remained by his side, their faces etched with worry.
    At the palace, King Luke had been forced to cancel the party and thank everyone for their time. He apologized for the unexpected turn of events, and the guests understood, leaving discreetly.
    Nathan’s family stayed behind, seated in the living room, trying to pass the time. Anna and Diva attempted to reach Alex and Nathan on their cell phones, but to no avail.
    “None of their phones are going through,” Diva said, frustration creeping into her voice.
    “Same here,” Anna replied.
    “Do you think something might have happened?” Josh asked
    “I’m sure they’re in the hospital,” Elora said.
    “It could be because of the accident that they’re there,” Anna added.
    “At least one of their numbers should go through so we can know what’s going on,” King Luke said, his patience wearing thin.
    “We can wait till tomorrow morning, I guess they ran out of battery,” Mr. Adams suggested, and they all sighed, resigned to waiting.
    At the hospital, the doctor emerged from the emergency room, ready to break the news to the waiting family. However, he was met with a surprise: everyone had fallen fast asleep, exhausted from the day’s events.
    The doctor smiled, not wanting to disturb them. He decided to wait, choosing a more opportune moment to share the news. For now, he would let them rest.

    Yesterday when they went to visit her, Amelia refused to let him go and so Aurelio convinced them to let her go but under the condition she continued her treatment at home.

    The doctor said it’ll take a while for her to act like someone of her age

    “Yes, it’s really hard to believe as well but that’s all I could ask for” Aurelio smiled.

    “That’s great news” Coralyn smiled.

    “How’s the other group members?” Aurelio asked

    “They’re with their loved ones” Viper replied

    Yesterday the whole clan dispersed, going back to their families, only Raven came to live with Amour and Aurelio in the mansion

    “I guess I should start calling you Adrian then since everything is over” Aurelio said and Coralyn chuckled.

    “Wassup Aurelio!” Vitto exclaimed, walking in the mansion

    Aurelio looked at him with a poker look on his face and he immediately shrugged. “What? You’re not longer boss so I can call you by your name” Vitto smirked.

    “I perfectly understand… Gosh! Amour will be so happy!?” Coralyn squealed.

    “Take example from Aurelio, Viper” Vitto said and Viper glared at him as Coralyn laughed out.

    “Where are you taking me to?” Raven whined as Saint kept dragging her.

    They’ve been to the restaurant where Raven ate all sorts of delicacies and all what Raven wants now was to rest and take a nap but it looks like Saint was not having it.

    They took a cap that dropped them at the outskirt of the town and now they were walking the few meters left on foot.

    “Saint!!” Raven exclaimed and Saint stopped to look at her

    “Are you tired? If you’re tired I can kiss you, I heard it boosts up someone’s energy” Saint smirked and Raven immediately shook her head

    “Good, follow me” Saint said and led the way

    Raven rolled her eyes before following him. They walked few meters before stopping by a lake. The lake looked so beautiful, it has this sparkly blue color

    “A lake? Upon all places you had to take me, it just had to be a lake.. Nice” Raven said sarcastically.

    Saint chuckled. “I use to come here when I feel depressed. I’m someone would rarely shows my emotion so I come here. Somehow staring at it frees my mind” Saint said.

    “Oh..” Was all Raven said.

    Saint looked at her. “Taking a close look at you now, you do have some resemblance to Amour. I wonder why I never suspected you two were sisters. It’s also kinda weird to not see a stony look on you face like usual” Saint chuckled.

    “I know right?” Raven shrugged

    Saint took her hand and she looked at him. “Let’s swim” He muttered and began dragging her to the water

    “No, I don’t want to.. Wait_ Saint!!” Raven exclaimed when Saint dragged her into the waters

    Their clothes immediately soaked, sticking to their body.

    “You idíot!” Raven exclaimed and made to hit Saint but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer to him

    A gasp escaped her lips as she gazed up to his eyes. Saint looked down before looking at her eyes, smirking

    “Pink… Cute color” He muttered

    “Huh?” Raven muttered and looked down. Her eyes widened when she saw her white T-shirt because transparent due to the water and he could now see her bra

    “You-” 

    Raven gasped when Saint pulled her closer to him, her eyes falling directly onto his lips. She bit her lips and swallowed hard.

    “What were you saying?” Saint smirked, loving the effect her had on her.

    Raven immediately wrapped her arms around his neck and tilted her head to the side, pressing her lips against his

    Saint slowly closed his eyes and held her waist, pulling her closer to him

    ••CISCO’S HOME••

    “There.. There, be careful not to make the cake fall” An elderly lady said. It was none other than Cisco’s mom

    Flame nodded, removing the cake from the oven and carrying it to the table. 

    “And that’s how we make a cake! Now it’s left to decorate it and make it look attractive” She said

    “Thanks aunt” Flame said and bowed respectfully

    “Oh please! Call me mom, you look so cute and pretty no wonder my son fell for you” She pinched Flame’s cheek

    Flame smiled cutely.

    “Let me grab something I’ll be back” Cisco’s mom said left the kitchen

    Flame smiled to herself before facing the cake. Almost immediately, Cisco sneaked in the room.

    “What you doing here?” Flame asked.

    “I came to get my energy booster. You know my mom will never let go off you while you’re around and you’re mine, not hers. It’s unfair” Cisco pouted and Flame laughed

    She walked to him and pecked his lips. “Is your energy boosted enough?” She said and Cisco shook his head

    He grabbed her waist and crashed his lips against hers, kissing her deeply.

    ••GARDEN••

    Vitto could be seen walking through the garden in Aurelio’s mansion, admiring the flowers he saw in there.

    Viper and the others were still talking when he decided to take a short walk to take in fresh air.

    “Argh!” He heard someone wince and turned to see Amelia.

    When did she get here? Was she following him??

    “Amelia” He immediately walked to her and she shifted back but winced again when she placed her left foot down

    “You’re hurt?” He asked and she nodded, pointing down at foot.

    Vitto went down and made to touch her left foot but she shifted away in fear. Vitto looked up at her.

    “Relax, I won’t hurt you. I promise” He said before he gently took her foot and placed it on his thigh

    She actually stepped on a thorn that got stuck inside her foot. Vitto pulled out the thorn and she winced abit.

    “All done, you should avoid walking barefooted” Vitto said and she nodded.

    Vitto looked around. “Where’s Amour? Wait, where you following me?” Vitto said and Amelia nodded.

    “Don’t you know to speak?” Vitto raised a brow and Amelia opened her lips to speak but closed it back.

    Vitto shook his head and smiled. “You look cute, unlike your brother who always look scary” He said.

    “Cute..” Amelia said and Vitto nodded

    “Cute!!” She said, clapping happily and Vitto chuckled.

    “Let’s go back in” Vitto said and Amelia frowned, shaking her head.

    She pointed at the flowers. Vitto looked at flowers before looking at her.

    “You want to see the flowers?” Vitto asked and she nodded with a smile.

    “Okay, let’s go” He said and led the way. She followed behind..

    ••WEEKS LATER••

    Only few people were seen gathered around the burial ground. Yeah, today was the burial of Godfather.

    Just Aurelio and some of the clan members were seen on sight. The burial was a very calm one.

    Aurelio told Amelia about Godfather but he didn’t tell her that Godfather was responsible for their mother’s déad. To him, it’ll be better if she has only good memories of their father.. Unlike him

    Everyone took turns to say their final goodbyes to Godfather before the coffin was closed and lowered to the ground.

    “Goodbye… Dad” Amelia muttered, looking sad. Though she wasn’t crying.

    She looked at Aurelio who had a grieved look on his face. She immediately hugged him, Aurelio hugged her back as they watched two men filling back the whole with soil.

    The weather was even dark and cloudy, signalling it will rain anytime soon. Looks like even the cloud was grieving.

    ••DAYS LATER»AIRPORT••

    “I will miss you so much!” Amour pouted, hugging Coralyn for the third time

    “Me too” Coralyn smiled.

    “Have a safe trip bro” Aurelio said and Viper nodded.

    He decided to take Coralyn on a short vacation to Hawaii where they’ll free off their mind.

    “Take care of her” Viper said, referring to Amour

    “Sure, you too take care of her. And make sure you come just the two of you and not three of you. You know what I mean” Aurelio smirked and Viper chuckled

    A voice blarred through the speaker, signalling it was time for the passengers to board their flights.

    “Bye guys!” Coralyn waved before boarding the plane with Viper.

    Amour turned to face Aurelio. “You can go without me, I have something urgent to attend to” Amour said and Aurelio raised a brow

    “What’s that?” Aurelio asked.

    “It’s a secret. I promise I’ll tell you tonight” Amour smiled and pecked Aurelio’s lips before leaving

    Aurelio watched her leave with a smile on his lips before dipping his hands in his pocket. 

    “Time to set up the plan” Aurelio said, walking away too

    ••HOSPITAL••

    Amour was seen sitting on a chair, clutching tightly onto her skirt as she waited for the doctor to call her in

    These days she has been experiencing the same dizziness and nausea she used to feel and as such immediately rushed to the hospital to do some tests, the doctor said she could come today to collect the results

    Nervousness kept eating Amour up as she waited for her turn. If her suspicion were true then that will make her the happiest woman on earth

    “Miss Amour Valdez, it’s your turn” The nurse said and Amour immediately followed her

    They got in the office to meet the doctor staring at her results with a poker face and that added to her anxiety

    The doctor looked up and immediately smiled at her. “Miss Valdez, please have a seat” The doctor said and Amour immediately did so

    “So doctor, what does the results say” Amour asked slowly

    Doctor stared at the results and immediately smiled brightly

    “Congratulations Miss, you’re 3 weeks pregnant” The doctor said and Amour immediately sprang up from her seat with wide eyes

    She touched her tummy and immediately smiled widely

    “Really? OMG!!” She shouted happily. 

    Her joy knew no bounds at that moment and she couldn’t wait to break the news to Aurelio

    “Thanks so much doc! Gosh Aurelio will be so happy!!” Amour squealed happily

    She immediately picked her purse and rushed out of the office in excitement. The doctor and nurse couldn’t help but smile, seeing how excited she was.

    Amour immediately got down the car and rushed the mansion while smiling and giggling to herself as she stared at the pregnancy test in her hand.

    “Aurelio, I’m back! I have a surprise for you” Amour called, rushing upstairs

    Amour got to their room and opened the door

    “Aure-“

    Her words immediately got stuck to her throat and her purse with the paper fell off her hand in the process

    The room was beautiful decorated with red and white balloons, petals of roses laying on the bed that had red cover sheet, the light of room was dimly lit with scented candles at some corners of the room giving it a romantic and soft vibe

    Her focus wasn’t even on the decorations but on Aurelio who was down on one knees holding the most beautiful ring she has ever seen

    “Will you… Marry me?”

     It all turned out, that Naomi was feeling restless and needed to tell Alex the truth, while she was alone in the room looking sad, Mia came over carrying a tray of food.
    “Sis, you should eat,” she said.
    “I am not hungry,” 
    “You have to eat, you will get sick again,” 
    “I want to see Alex, I need to clarify everything with him,”
    “Are you ready to tell him?” Mia asked, and Naomi nodded.
    “I hate the distance between us, I miss his hugs and kisses,” she said, her voice cracking with emotions
    “Then go and sort it out tonight with him,” 
    Naomi stood up, taking her jacket, and left the room. Mia followed her outside, and they hugged each other.
    “Be careful,” Mia said, and they pulled away from each other as Naomi left.
    Mia sighed and shut the door behind and then the thought of Nathan flashed through her mind as she went inside.
        Some minutes later, Naomi arrived at the palace, she knew she couldn’t get in, so she decided to phone her Mom. After a while, Mrs. Ruth came and begged the security guard to open the gate for her daughter, and he obeyed. Naomi entered, and she and her mother walked away.
    “Why are you here?” Mrs. Ruth asked as they moved far away from the gate.
    “I’m here to clarify everything with Alex, I want to tell him the truth and stop the distance between us,” 
    “That’s a good thing, but you can’t go through the living room, Princess Diva and her mother are in the living room right now,” Mrs. Ruth said,  cautious.
    “What should I do then?” Naomi asked, a hint of frustration creeping into her voice.
    “I would advise you to use the balcony, there’s a ladder at Alex’ balcony, you can use it,” she said, and Naomi quickly hugged her, a smile spreading across her face.
    “Thank you, Mom,” she said, and they pulled away from each other.
    “Go now, I’m sure he’s waiting for you,” Mrs. Ruth said, her eyes sparkling with encouragement, and Naomi ran off. She smiled after her and walked away, watching her daughter disappear into the night.

    Meanwhile, Nathan was at his balcony, feeling disturbed about the little argument he had with Mia. He hadn’t called her to check on her like he always did before he slept, and the silence was eating away at him. He stared out into the night, his mind consumed by thoughts of Mia.
    Mia arrived at his house, standing by the gate after the cab dropped her off. She came to pay him a surprise visit, her heart racing with excitement and nervousness. She knocked on the gate with full confidence, and the gate opened using a remote control. She went inside, and the gate closed back with a soft click. She walked steadily and confidently towards the main building, set her mind up to risk everything to see the man she truly loved and clear the misunderstanding.
    When she got to the door, she hesitated for a while, her hand hovering over the doorbell. She took a deep breath and rang the bell, waiting for whoever would open the door. She waited patiently, her heart pounding in her chest, and then the door opened, revealing Anna. Their eyes met in surprise, and Anna’s face lit up with a warm smile.
    “Mia!” Anna exclaimed, her voice filled with delight, and her smile eased Mia’s tension.
    “Um, hi,” Mia said nervously.
    “What a surprise… come on in,” Anna said, stepping aside and gesturing for Mia to enter. “Are you here to see my brother?”
    “Um, yeah, but…,” Mia replied, her voice trailing off.
    “Let me guess, you came to surprise him, right?” Anna asked, amused, and Mia nodded shyly, her eyes dropping to the floor.
    “That’s nice, I’m sure he’ll die of shock if he sees you,” she said, laughing. “Come on, let me lead the way,” she said, taking Mia’s hand and walking away, her infectious laughter putting Mia at ease.
      
      Nathan was still lost in thought of Mia when someone knocked on his door. He sighed and walked steadily to open the door, but to his surprise, he saw Mia and Anna standing in front of the door.
    “Mia!” he called out, surprised, his eyes widening in delight.
    “Surprise!” Anna said playfully, her voice bubbling with excitement. “Well, I’ll leave you two now, goodnight,” she said and walked away with a knowing smile, leaving the two lovebirds alone.
    Nathan and Mia’s eyes were still locked on each other, the air thick with tension. 
     “I…I…,” she couldn’t finish her statement when Nathan pulled her inside, closing the door behind her with a soft click. Before she could react, she felt his warm arms enveloping her into a warm hug, his scent wrapping around her like a comforting blanket.
    “I miss you,” he whispered softly, his breath tickling her ear, sending shivers down her spine. His voice was filled with longing and yearning.
    “I miss you too,” she said.
     They pulled away from each other slowly. He caressed her face, his fingers tracing the contours of her cheeks, his touch sending waves of pleasure through her body.
    “I’m sorry for what happened earlier today, I didn’t mean to hide anything from you,” she said.
    “It’s okay, if you don’t want to tell me now, I understand. When you’re ready, you can tell me,” he said, and Mia smiled.
    “That’s why I am…” Her words trailed off as she felt his lips silencing hers, their mouths fitting together like two pieces of a puzzle.
      Her eyes widened for a moment before closing to respond, her heart racing with excitement. He pulled her closer to himself, deepening the kiss, his tongue tangling with hers. Mia responded in the same sync, her body melting into his, their love and passion igniting like a flame.
    After a moment, they pulled away slowly, trying to catch their breath, their chests heaving with desire. Their eyes locked on each other, filled with love, passion, and a deep connection. They rested their heads together, their foreheads touching. 
    “Mia,” he called out, feeling emotional, filled with love and adoration. “You know it’s wrong at this moment to be in a guy’s room in the middle of the night,”.
    “I know,” she said nervously.
    “You’re also aware things might get heated up between us,” he said.
    “I know,” she gulped.
    “Then, I’m giving you a chance to…,” he started to say, his voice trailing off.
    “I am not leaving, Nat,” she said, cutting in, her voice firm and resolute, as their heads still rested on each other, with their hearts beating in sync. “It’s too late to go back, I’m here and I’m not leaving,”.
    “Even when I cross the line tonight?” he gulped, his voice longing, his heart filled with love and desire.
    “I am yours anyway, do whatever you want with me, I’m not leaving,” she said, her words hanging in the air like a promise, her body surrendering to his, her heart beating only for him.
    The air was electric with tension as Nathan’s hands roamed over her body, his touch igniting a fire that threatened to consume them both. Mia’s skin was on fire, her senses overwhelmed by the passion that burned between them.
    Nathan’s lips claimed hers, their kiss deep and hungry. her body arched into his, her curves fitting perfectly against his hard lines. The room around them dissolved into nothingness, leaving only the primal desire that drove them together.
    As they moved closer to the edge, their breathing grew ragged, their hearts pounding in sync. 
    As they kissed, his hands wandered to the hem of Mia’s top, his fingers tracing the soft skin of her stomach. Her breath caught in her throat as he slowly lifted the fabric, revealing more of her skin with each passing moment. She raised her arms, and he pulled the top over her head, dropping it to the floor.
    Mia’s hands weren’t idle, either. She’d been working on his shirt buttons, her fingers fumbling slightly in her haste. Finally, she managed to slip the last button free, and the shirt opened, revealing his chest. She ran her hands over his skin, feeling the warmth and texture of him.
    Together, they moved towards the bed, their lips never leaving each other’s. His hands were busy with her jeans, unbuttoning and unzipping them with ease. Mia kicked off her shoes, and his hands slipped into her pants, guiding them down her legs.
    As they reached the bed, he lifted her onto it, following her down onto the soft sheets. They were wrapped in each other’s arms, their bodies pressed together, skin to skin.
    They lay fully naked under the duevt, making out, their bodies entwined as they gazed into each other’s eyes. 
    “I love you,” he whispered, his voice trembling with emotion.
    “I love you too,” she replied.
      As the last rays of light faded from the room, they surrendered to each other’s love. Under the duvet, their bodies moved in perfect sync, their hearts beating as one. The darkness wrapped around them, a cocoon of intimacy, as they lost themselves in the passion of their love.
    In this moment, time stood still, and all that existed was the love they shared. Their whispers, their touch, their hearts pounding together, it was all that mattered.

    The next day, Alex and Naomi sat on the balcony, enjoying a fruit salad together. Alex was chatting away, trying to engage Naomi in conversation, but she seemed distant, her mind elsewhere. She couldn’t shake off the feeling of what had happened to her and how to tell Alex about it. Alex noticed her distance and called out to her
     “Naomi.” He reached out to her hand, but she flinched quickly, drawing her hand back as she stood up abruptly. Alex was taken aback by her sudden movement.
    “Naomi, what’s wrong?” he asked, concerned.
    “Um, n-nothing,” she stammered, fidgeting with her hands.
    Alex stood up and tried to move towards her, but she pushed backward, avoiding him as she looked around frantically. Alex was confused by her sudden action.
    Before he could say anything else, Naomi rushed to the door and opened it. She met Diva and Elora standing by the door, about to knock. They saw the look of fear on Naomi’s face and wondered what was wrong.
    Naomi bypassed them and rushed out, leaving Alex and the others looking concerned.
    “What’s with her?” Diva asked, confusedly.
    They went inside to see Alex standing looking confused. “Alex,” Elora called, and they moved towards him, but he ignored them and decided to follow Naomi behind.
    They stared after him, wondering what had just happened.
         Naomi rushed into the workers’ apartment, bypassing Mia and her mother, who were seated and busy with something. She didn’t stop until she reached the bedroom, where she sat down on the floor, squeezing herself and shaking in fear. Mia and her mother were surprised and followed her inside.
     “Sis,” Mia called gently, placing her hand on Naomi’s shoulder. Naomi turned to her, tears streaming down her face. “Come here,” Mia said, pulling Naomi into a hug. Mrs. Ruth patted Naomi’s back, trying to comfort her.
    Just then, they heard Alex’s voice from outside, calling out to Naomi. Mrs. Ruth went out to see the worry on his face.
    “Nanny, please, I need to see Naomi,” Alex said. “Why is she acting like that?”
    “It’s nothing to worry about,” Mrs. Ruth replied.
    “Nothing to worry about?” Alex repeated, worried. “I haven’t seen her act like this before.”
    Before Mrs. Ruth could explain, Naomi appeared behind her, smiling forcedly.
     “I’m fine,” she said, 
    Alex rushed to her and tried to touch her, but she reeled back a little, feigning a cough. 
     “I’m having a sour throat, and I don’t want you to be affected,” she lied.
    “That’s what I wanted to tell you,” Mrs. Ruth said, trying to support Naomi’s story.
    Alex stared into Naomi’s eyes, noticing that she was hiding something. He left without saying a word, and Naomi let out a sad sigh.
    “You need to tell him,” Mia said, her voice gentle. “Just look at him. He knows you’re hiding something from him.”
    Meanwhile, at the other corner of the palace, two guards responsible for what happened to Naomi were chatting secretly.
    “Do you think she’ll tell everyone what happened?” one of the guard asked quietly.
    “She won’t dare,” the other guard replied. “The threat we gave her won’t make her utter a word to anyone.”
    “I just wish I had my way with her,” one guard said, his voice filled with lust. “It would have been perfect.”
     “The queen didn’t ask you to do anything with her, just to keep her until she ordered us to do what she wanted.”
    “I just can’t imagine how soft her body was,” one guard said, his eyes gleaming with desire. “I wish another chance will come, and we’ll have our way.”
    The maid interrupted them, her voice suspicious. 
    “What are you two murmuring about?” The guards flinched, turning to her. “Hope you two haven’t done something bad?” she asked, her eyes narrowing.
    “Will you get out of here?” one of them yelled.
    “I just pray your secret will be open soon,” the maid hissed, walking away.
    ******
        The distance between Alex and Naomi continued for days, with Alex fully recovered and it being time for her to go back home. Naomi came to his room, seeing him lying down with his back turned against the door, though she knew he wasn’t sleeping. She moved to the bed, staring at his back as she fidgeted with her hands. 
    “Alex,” she called softly, but he refused to turn to her, and she knew he wasn’t happy with her. “Um, I’m leaving,” she said, her.”I just came to inform you. I’ll go now.”
    She turned and left, shutting the door behind her. Alex turned to the door, feeling a pang of sadness as he hugged the pillows to himself. He was pained by the sudden distance between them.
    Meanwhile, Naomi stood outside the door, resting her back against it as tears filled her eyes and crawled down her cheeks. Mia came over and took her hand, and they walked away.
    After bidding their mother goodbye, they came out of the gate and saw Nathan waiting for them outside. It turned out Alex had sent a message to him, asking him to take them home.
    “Nat, what are you doing here?” Mia asked, curiously.
    “To take you guys home, of course,” Nathan replied, opening the car door for them.
    “Thank you,” Naomi said, moving to the backseat. Mia sat down in the front seat, and Nathan got in on the other side. They drove off.

        After some minutes, Nathan drove them home, Naomi thanked him with a faint smile and came out as she went inside, her eyes avoiding any prolonged gaze. Mia tried to follow suit, but Nathan’s firm grip on her arm stopped her from leaving.
     “I have a question,” he said, his voice low and inquiring, “what’s going on between Naomi and Alex? Why is she creating distance, did something happen?” He asked, staring deeply into her eyes with an intensity that made her squirm.
    Mia’s eyes darted around, trying to evade Nathan’s piercing gaze.
     “It’s nothing,” she said quickly.
     “You know you can’t lie to me, Mia. I know something’s wrong. What are you two hiding?” His tone was firm, brooking no argument.
    “Um, it’s really nothing.”she mumbled.
      “Mia.”Nathan’s voice took on a warning tone as he called out,  She sighed, knowing she was trapped. 
     “Seriously, Nat, I can’t tell you,” she said.
    “It means there’s something going on, doesn’t it?” Mia shook her head, her eyes still avoiding his.
      “No, that’s not what I mean.” 
     “You’re lying, and I can see it in your eyes. Alex is deeply hurt right now because of the distance his woman is creating, and it’s killing him.” Mia’s eyes welled up with tears as she sighed, feeling the weight of Nathan’s words.
    “It’s okay if you don’t want to talk, but if I find out, I won’t be happy with you,” Nathan said, his voice low and even. 
     Mia was confused  as she hesitated, unsure of what to do. 
     Finally, she opened the car door and stepped out, leaving without a goodbye kiss. Nathan watched her go, his eyes lingering on her retreating figure before he zoomed off into the distance.

        Later in the cool evening, Alex was in the mini bar drinking to stupor, he couldn’t help but think why Naomi was distancing herself from him, the more he thinks about it, the more hurt he gets… the more hurt he gets. He became heavily drunk and tried to stand up, but his legs wobbled beneath him. Before he could fall, Elora quickly grasped his arm, steadying him. 
       As Alex lay on the bed, Elora stood over him, her eyes locked on his face. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small injection device. 
    “Perfect timing,” she whispered to herself, a subtle smile playing on her lips.
    With a swift motion, she administered the injection to Alex’s arm. He barely stirred, too drunk to notice. Elora disposed of the device and stepped back, her gaze never leaving Alex’s face.
      As the minutes ticked by, Alex’s drunken haze began to clear, replaced by a growing sense of warmth and disorientation. He stirred, his movements slow and labored. Elora watched with interest, her eyes gleaming with a knowing light.
    When Alex finally opened his eyes, he was met with a wave of dizziness. He tried to sit up, but a wave of heat washed over him, making his head spin. Elora stepped forward, her presence commanding his attention.
    With a languid movement, Alex pulled off his shirt, revealing his toned physique. Elora’s gaze lingered on him before she turned away, disappearing into the bathroom. She emerged moments later, a towel wrapped seductively around her body, her hair cascading down her back.
    As she approached Alex, he felt a jolt of confusion. The room seemed to spin around him, and his vision blurred. When it cleared, he saw Elora standing before him, her face somehow… familiar.
    “Naomi?” he whispered.
    Alex’s eyes locked onto Elora’s, confusion swirling in his mind. Yet, as he gazed at her, he felt an inexplicable pull. Elora’s smile deepened, and she leaned in closer, her breath whispering against his skin.
       “Take me Alex, I am yours”.She let go off the towel.
       “Why are you avoiding me? What did I do wrong?”.He asked weakly as he caress her body and she moan.
       “you did nothing wrong, I am here now, take me”
    Their lips met in a gentle, exploratory kiss. Alex’s world spun, but this time, it wasn’t just the alcohol. Elora’s touch ignited a spark within him, and he deepened the kiss, lost in the moment.
      While the moment was getting more intense with Elora winning, Naomi emerged from the balcony, her face contorted in shock and disgust, the scene in front of her left her speechless and frozen in horror. She suddenly knew this wasn’t Alex’s true intentions, her eyes blazed with fury as she quickly pushed Alex off her and Elora was shock as she quickly covered herself with the blanket.
    “You!” Elora exclaimed, her voice trembling with guilt and fear. “How did you get here?” She sputtered, her eyes darting back and forth like a trapped animal.
    “You snitch!” Naomi frowned at her. “What did you do to him?” She snapped at her.
    “N-nothing” Elora stammered.
    “I want you out of here, I will release my anger on you” Naomi said angrily, her voice echoing through the room.
      Elora flinched to see the anger in her eyes, she hurried picked up her clothes and rushed out, tears of shame and fear streaming down her face.
    “Naomi” he called weakly, his voice a mere whisper.
    “I’m right here Alex, what did she do to you” Naomi’s voice softened as she rushed to his side, her anger momentarily replaced with concern.
    “I want you” Alex leaned closer, kissing her neck.
    “Alex, you have to control yourself” Naomi said, trying to stop him.
    “I want you, please” he whispered, his voice full of longing.
    “I cant believe she tried to have her way with you” Naomi said, her anger reigniting, as she managed to help him to the bathroom. 
    She helped him to the tub and turned the shower on, making it a little cold, Alex gasped, she joined him inside the tub, making him lean his back on her.
    The water continued to drop on them, and slowly Alex began to feel relaxed and doze off while Naomi caressed his hair.

    “We meet again… Lady of my heart” He whispered.

    “Rexton…” Amour muttered without turning

    Rexton smiled, holding his gun pointed on her head from behind. Amour folded her fists tightly

    “What happened to the plan huh? Weren’t you supposed to kíll Aurelio?” Rexton questioned and Amour turned to face him

    He still had his gun pointed at her but Amour remained unfazed.

    “It’s really cràzy how much you can pretend. You fooled the whole clan here” Amour said and Rexton chuckled

    “Don’t change the topic here beautiful” Rexton smirked.

    “Join me. Be my lady, and I promise I’ll let Aurelio live” Rexton stretched his hand towards her

    Amour looked at his hand and chuckled. “You must really be delusional to think you’ll be able to beat Aurelio” Amour said, taking a step closer to him.

    “Read my lips clearly. I was never yours, I am never yours and I will be never yours. You can continue feeding your imagination you stupidity but one thing will forever stand. I.. Will.. Be.. Never.. Yours” Amour said and the smile on Rexton’s face fell and was replaced with a look of anger.

    “B+tch!” Rexton punched her face.

    Amour’s face went to the side as her hair scattered all over her face. She touched her cheek before looking up at Rexton, a vile smirk crept up her lips.

    “You just signed your déad sentence” Amour said and immediately aimed her gun at him

    Rexton pointed her gun at her too. Almost immediately a gun shot was heard from behind and Rexton immediately ducked.

    “Amour!” Flame called, running towards her.

    “Sh+t!” Rexton cussed and ran off.

    “Are you okay?” Flame asked and Amour nodded.

    “They invaded the clan, go and make sure the others are safe. I’ll take care of him” Amour said

    “Are you sure you’re okay on your own?” Flame asked, looking at Amour’s bandaged arm.

    “Yeah” Amour smiled before going after Rexton

    Flame sighed before going the opposite direction.

    ✮•✮•✮•✮

    Aurelio’s car roughly parked outside of the clan and he got down. He couldn’t hide the shocked on his face when he saw the maids getting evacuated from the clan by the guards with gunshots here and there.

    “What is happening?” He thought in shock.

    “Amour!” His eyes widened when he remembered Amour was still in the clan. He immediately brought out his gun and rushed in the clan.

    He immediately came face to face with Clyde who just shot down one of his clan’s men. Clyde smirked at him

    “Long time no see Aurelio” Clyde said.

    Aurelio wasted no time to shoot him but Clyde was quick to hide. He shot at Aurelio who immediately hide too

    “What the f*+*k are you doing here?” Aurelio questioned from his hiding.

    “You k+lled our beloved leader! So we’re coming for your head and everyone here” Clyde replied with nothing but anger in his voice.

    One of Rexton’s men made to shoot Aurelio from in front but Aurelio immediately gunned down the man. Clyde took the moment of distraction to shoot at Aurelio who quickly ducked and shot back.

    “You just entered a dangerous zone Clyde, and I promise you ain’t getting out here alive.” Aurelio said.

    “We’ll see” Clyde smirked and immediately launched at Aurelio

    Aurelio stood there with a devilish smile on his lips as he watched Clyde approach.

    Viper, Cisco and Cleopatra stopped when they both came across each other.

    “What the hell is happening!!” Cleopatra asked in shock.

    “The clan is under attack, quick we need to do something” Cisco muttered.

    “Cisco, you and Cleopatra go find Saint and make sure all the maids are safely evacuated from the clan.” Cisco and Cleopatra nodded and immediately went to do their job

    Viper began walking fast to a particular direction as he made a phone call

    “Indigo, check the cameras planted in the clan and tell me where are our enemies location” Viper said

    “I can’t! All the cameras in the clan were infested with virus, I can’t seen to access it” Indigo said typing fast on the keyboard with Scythe and Vitto working on theirs

    “We have another snitch in the clan” Viper hissed, thinking of no one else but Cheetah

    “Keep trying to remove the virus. If the enemies get to you, you know what to do” Viper said and hung up

    He brought out his gun, ready to kíll Cheetah the moment he’ll bump on her but stopped on his track when he saw Cheetah… Déad.

    Godfather rushed out of his suite too and paused when he saw Cheetah’s déad body. He looked up at Viper and their eyes locked.

    “What is happening??”

    “Looks like Rexton’s clan launched a surprise attack at us” Viper said and Godfather hissed angrily, bringing out his gun immediately

    ••CORALYN’S ROOM••

    Coralyn who was busy dressing up after having her bath suddenly heard a gun shot. She jolted and began looking around

    “What happened?” Coralyn thought and walked out of the room

    Her eyes widened when she was met with the chaos happening in the clan. The maids were panicking, running up and down

    “What is-” Before she could finish her phrase two figures appeared and began shooting everyone they saw.

    “Ahhh!!” Coralyn screamed out when a maid was shot down before her. The maid fell in front of her and blood began wetting the ground.

    Coralyn stared at the déad body before her with wide eyes. It all happened all of a sudden that she was shocked and frozen on her spot

    “Look who we have here, she’s pretty” Bonnie smiled, shooting down another maid. She gummed a timer to the wall

    She was accompanied with a man from their clan.

    “She’s my type” The man licked his lips

    “I know right?” Bonnie chuckled.

    “We’re here to have fun. Before we kíll her, you can have fun with her” Bonnie said.

    “Thanks boss” The man licked his lips

    Coralyn shook her head and began backing out slowly while the man slowly approached her. She swiftly and made to run when a bullet flew just few inches from her ear, hitting the man behind her

    Bonnie’s eyes widened when the bullet took the man’s skull and he immediately dropped down déad. She looked up to see Raven staring at them with a bored look on her face.

    “You” Bonnie sneered.

    “I’ve cleared this path. You’ll meet no enemies alive there, take that path. You’ll meet Saint along the way, he’ll escort you safely out of the clan” Raven said

    “Thank you” Coralyn muttered and immediately ran off

    “What the f*+*k do you think you’re doing. How could you gun down our men, you’re a f*+*king spy in this clan remember!!” Bonnie shouted.

    Raven looked at her gun in her hand. “I’ve always wondered how it’ll feel like to have 10 bullets in your body” Raven smirked then looked at Bonnie

    “Guess I’ll find out” She said

    Bonnie’s eyes widened.

    ✮•✮•✮•✮

    “F*+*k!” Rexton exclaimed when his back met with the floor. Amour had just flip him over her back

    Their bullets finished long ago so now they were engaged in a serious arm-to-arm combat.

    “Like father, like son. You both are weakling who used shameless ways to get what you want” Amour smirked and stepped on his tummy with great force.

    Rexton groaned out in pain. He looked at Amour and smirked then swiftly brought out a knife and swung it to Amour’s leg

    “Ahh!!” Amour winced when the knife took her thigh. Rexton dragged her leg and Amour landed to the floor

    He immediately got on top of her and pinned her to the ground, placing the knife to her throat

    “I’ll give you a last choice, choose me or him” Rexton said, pressing the knife tighter to her neck that it began bleeding.

    “Aurelio” Amour spatted to his face.

    “You-“

    A bullet immediately flew and hit Rexton’s arm. 

    “Arghh!!” He gripped his arm in pain

    “You bàstard!” Aurelio spatted and shot his thigh. Rexton fell down to the floor.

    Aurelio immediately rushed to Amour and cupped her cheek. Traces of blood could be seen on Aurelio’s face meaning he fought before arriving there

    Amour nodded with a smile. “I’m fine” She said.

    Aurelio left her side and walked to Rexton then grabbed him by the collar then landed a heavy punch on his face before pointing his gun at him.

    “Say your last words” Aurelio sneered and placed his finger on the trigger.

    Amour was looking at them when her gaze went to the side and her eyes widened to see Clyde. Looks like he survived from the battle with Aurelio, but it wasn’t for long coz he looked like he was barely alive

    He slowly raised his gun towards Aurelio. “If I’m going to díe, I’m taking you along” He muttered and with that he pulled the trigger before giving up the ghost

    “Aurelio!!” Amour shouted and struggled to stand but her leg failed her.

    She watched in horror as the bullet flew towards Aurelio. Aurelio turned when he heard Amour’s voice and just when the bullet could hit him, someone intercepted

    Godfather spread out his arms and the bullet pierced through his chest. With wide eyes he began free falling, landing in Aurelio’s arms.

    “Father! Father!” Aurelio exclaimed with wide eyes as he placed Godfather down

    Everything happened so fast that he couldn’t retaliate on time.

    Godfather coughed, finding difficulties to breath as blood escaped his mouth. He smiled slightly.

    “Looks like I’ll be joining your mother soon” He said

    “Don’t say that rubbish… You’re surviving punk!” Aurelio said immediately

    Godfather held his hand. “Please forgive me Aurelio, forgive me my son. I’m very sorry” Godfather muttered

    Aurelio just stared at him. “Dad, it’s not the right time to say that” Aurelio said slowly

    “Don’t repeat the same mistake I did son. Live your life in a way you’ll be happy to see what you’ve accomplished.” Godfather said, more blood gushing out of his mouth

    Aurelio stared at him as a drop of tear fell from his eyes.

    “I love you son” Godfather said with a smile on his lips. His hand slowly dropped down, lifeless.

    Godfather stopped moving.

    “Dad..” Aurelio muttered as more tears poured out of his eyes

    Almost immediately a loud noise was heard as one side of the clan blew up and immediately fire began spreading through the clan

    “That’s enough, I think you’ve wasted enough oxygen on this earth. Don’t you think so?” Amour raised a brow

    Cheetah smirked. “Make me stop then, if you can” Cheetah said, coming closer to Amour.

    “Is it a challenge? I accept it then” Amour said and Cheetah immediately attacked Amour but she blocked her kick with her arm and let out a sly smirk before punching Cheetah’s face.

    And like that a deadly fight began both of them as they threw dangerous blows at each other.

    ••COMPUTER LAB••

    “Today is really boring” Indigo yawned.

    “Since there’s nothing to do, I guess I’ll be going then” Vitto said before leaving the lab while whistling.

    Indigo turned to Scythe who stood up to leave too. She immediately stood up and blocked his path.

    “What?” Scythe asked confusedly

    “Why are you ignoring me? Did I do something wrong?” Indigo asked.

    “What are you talking about?” Scythe furrowed his brows

    “Ever since we kissed, you’ve been avoiding me. You didn’t like the kiss we shared? Is it because I’m not your type” Indigo asked at once.

    Scythe who looked confused at first slowly smiled.

    “I’m not ignoring you, I’m just trying to set boundaries to what I feel for you” Scythe said.

    “Huh?” Indigo muttered with her heart already fluttering in anticipation.

    “I love you Indigo” Scythe said and Indigo’s eyes widened. “But I don’t want anything to ruin our friendship so I think it’s better I end it” Scythe said and smiled.

    “Have a nice day” He patted her shoulder and began walking off.

    “What if I love you too!” Indigo blurted out and Scythe stopped on his tracks.

    Indigo turned to face him. “I love you too” She muttered.

    Scythe turned and their eyes met. Indigo took in her lower lips before closer to him, looking as shy as ever.

    “Let’s… Let’s da-“

    Scythe immediately slammed his lips against hers, kissing her hungrily. He was about to interrupt her words but the moment she did that with her lips, he immediately lost it.

    He grabbed her waist and pulled her closer, their chest slamming against each other.

    Indigo’s eyes widened but it was just for seconds as she closed her eyes and began responding to the kiss with the same hunger.

    Her hand got tangled in his hair as their lips moved against each other with her standing on her toes.

    Scythe lifted her up and placed her on the desk before him so he relish better on those lips.

    Their lips made sound as they broke the kiss, resting their forehead against each other as they caught their breath

    “I missed those lips” Scythe breathed out with closed eyes and Indigo smiled.

    “So… Does that means we’re, yunno a thing?” Indigo asked shyly.

    Scythe couldn’t help but smile at how cute she looked. He cupped her cheek and pressed his lips on her forehead before nodding.

    Indigo smiled widely, her heart couldn’t stop hammering against it’s ribcage.

    ••RAVEN’S SUITE••

    “So you took me away because of this? Why are we even doing this?” Raven asked with a frown on her face as she glared at Saint who was before her.

    A smile on was playing on Saint’s lips as he applied make-up on her face. The makeup was light and looked natural.

    “I just want to know how you’ll look like if you decided to look like a girl” Saint replied her question.

    “Besides, who thought you all this.” Raven said, referring to the makeup he was putting on her.

    “I have a sister remember? So I use her face to do my experiment and with time I learned it” Saint said, opening the lip gloss.

    He applying it on her lips and Raven froze when it touched her lips. She began staring at his face but immediately looked away.

    “Done” Saint said and shifted away to take a look at her. He immediately bursted out in laughter.

    “What?” Raven asked.

    “You look even worse” Saint laughed.

    Raven glared at him then immediately went to the vanity table to check her face. The makeup was actually nice on her but Saint laughter made her think it was bad.

    She turned and glared at Saint who was still laughing at her. “You!!” She exclaimed and made to hit him but Saint dodged.

    She made to hit him again and he dodged again. His laughter rented the room as he kept dodging her attacks till he stumbled against the bed stand and fell on the bed.

    Raven straddled him and placed a hand on his neck, pinning him down while her other hand was raised up in tight fist as she glared at him

    “Laugh one more time and I’ll ruin your face” Raven said

    Saint whose eyes was wide in surprise at first, slowly smiled. “You look beautiful” He muttered and Raven’s eyes widened

    She immediately forgot she was angry as all she did was stare at him. Saint held her hand on his next and swiftly switched positions with him on top.

    He cupped her cheek and Raven immediately froze. She couldn’t understand why she always feels this way each time he compliments her or smile at her. She always feel weak, like her brain temporarily stopped working.

    “You might find it weird but I think I love you” Saint said and Raven blinked her eyes.

    “What is love?” She whispered

    “This” Saint said and closed his eyes, claiming her lips in a soft kiss.

    Raven’s eyes widened when she felt like some sort of electric wave course through her body. Her heart raced as Saint moved his lips on hers.

    He pulled away slowly, maintaining eye contact with her. Raven’s gaze went to his lips before looking at his face

    “Do… Do it again, what you just did” Raven said.

    Saint immediately pressed back his lips against hers and Raven closed her eyes.

    ✮•✮•✮•✮

    “Argh!!” Cheetah spatted out blood when Amour landed a kick on her tummy. She crumpled to the floor

    Amour cleaned the blood coming out of her mouth while breathing heavily as she advanced at Cheetah.

    “You were trained for years by Godfather yet you’re so weak. Is it with this strength you expect to beat me?” Amour smirked and stepped on Cheetah’s back.

    “Argh!!”

    Amour pulled Cheetah up by her hair, so Cheetah could look at her.

    “You were on the phone with someone, who is it?” Amour asked and Cheetah smirked despite the traces of blood on her lips.

    “You’ll soon find out” She said and swiftly brought out the knife from her pocket then swung it at Amour

    Amour was swift to dodge but it took her left arm, leaving a long cut on her arm that bleed. Cheetah stood back up and held her knife tightly. With a smirk on her lips she launched at Amour, swinging the knife at Amour

    Amour dodged each of her attacks and grabbed her hand the moment the knife was coming for her face.

    She twisted Cheetah’s arm and hit the knife off Cheetah’s hand before hitting Cheetah’s face with her elbow.

    Cheetah staggered back and before she could recuperate from the hit Amour gave her a punch on the face

    Cheetah punched Amour’s face back before she tackled Cheetah down.

    Cheetah’s gaze went to the knife beside her and she immediately picked it then stabbed Amour’s hand

    “Argh!!” Amour staggered back as her arm bled.

    Cheetah stood up with a smirk on her lips. She dipped in her hand to bring out another knife.

    With great pains, Amour pulled out the life from her arm and flew it at Cheetah.

    Cheetah who distracted for a splitting second didn’t see the knife flying her direction and before she could see it_

    “Aaarrrggghhh!!!!” She let out an agonizing cry when the knife hit the bullseye… Or should I say Cheetah’s eye

    “My eye!!!!!!” Cheetah screamed when the knife fell down with Cheetah’s left eye bulb sticking at the tip.

    Blood began pouring down from her eye that way gorge out. She looked up at Amour who was advancing towards her

    Cheetah placed her hand on her bleeding eye and immediately ran away. Her phone off her pocket as she ran like her life depended on it.

    Amour tore a piece of her clothing and tied it to her wound to stop the bleeding she picked the knife and smirked when she saw Cheetah’s eye sticking to it.

    Cheetah’s phone began ringing and she glanced at it. She took the phone and picked the call

    “We’re here already” Rexton’s voice was heard and Amour’s eyes widened.

    No… Does that means Cheetah is now working with Rexton?

    Amour immediately threw down the phone and ran after Cheetah

    “Hello? Hello? Hello!” The voice came from the phone that was on the ground.

    ••AURELIO’S MANSION••

    Aurelio paces to and fro in his room. The man just told him everything about his sister and the asylum she was kept in.

    He was shocked, excited and happy. If it’s true then that will be the greatest news of his life.

    But that wasn’t actually what making his pace through the room. He has been dialing Amour’s number non stop and she isn’t picking.

    He was getting more worried as the minute passed. She should be back by now right?

    Something felt off and when Aurelio couldn’t longer handle it, he grabbed his car keys and rushed out of the room immediately

    ✮•✮•✮•✮

    ••GODFATHER’S SUITE••

    Godfather could be seen drinking whiskey as he sat on the couch in his room. Ever since the incident at the meeting room, his mind has been running wild.

    Aurelio is his actual son?

    What if what Aurelio said was true and Evelyn was threatened to leave him? Does that means he kílled the only woman who had ever loved him.. He kílled his daughter too?

    Guilt began to eat him up at that thought. He adopted Aurelio to ease his pains not knowing that he was the one who caused him pain.

    He was still lost in his thoughts when a gunshot was fired, jolting him up. He began looking around

    “What was that?”

    Cheetah kept running while placing her hand on her eye that didn’t stop bleeding. Her blood had already wetted her body and it was now wetting the ground.

    She turned and her eyes widened when she saw Amour chasing after her.

    Some troops of guards were passing and they stopped when they saw Cheetah’s state

    “Ma’am!!”

    “What happened to you” 

    Almost immediately Amour caught up with Cheetah. The guards immediately aimed their guns at Amour.

    “What did you to Cheetah. Spy!!”

    “She’s the spy, she’s the one who set Rexton free and is working for him. They’re planning an attack on this clan!! We need to-“

    Amour didn’t finish her words when they heard gunshots outside and almost immediately, screams rented the whole of the clan as people ran helter skelter

    👥 Help!!

    👥 We’re getting attacked!!!

    Cheetah used that opportunity to run away. 

    “F*,+*k! It’s too late” Amour hissed. 

    “Give me your gun” She said to one of the guards.

    “But-“

    “Give me your f*+*king gun!!” Amour cut him off.

    He immediately gave her the gun without further question.

    “They’re maids and gardeners in this clan. Evacuate then safely out of this clan and inform the others about the attack” Amour said and they nodded.

    Amour immediately ran off.

    Cheetah stopped to catch her breath when she got at the open air. At this rate she was losing too much blood plus the excruciating pain coming from her missing eye weakened her a lot

    For the first time in her life, she experienced what was fear and it was none than the fear of Amour

    She touched her pocket and her eyes widened when she couldn’t feel her phone.

    “Looking for your phone?”

    Cold chills ran through her spine when she heard that voice. Like a slow mo, she turned to see Amour pointing the gun at her with a devilish smile on her face.

    “Please… Have mercy” Cheetah immediately muttered and Amour laughed

    “Mercy? Since the day I came in this clan, have you ever shown me mercy?” Amour smirked

    Cheetah immediately went down to her knees.

    “Please spare my life. I beg you, please” Cheetah began begging.

    Amour clicked her gùn, advancing towards her.

    “Say your last words” Amour muttered

    Cheetah placed her hand on the ground, looking down. When Amour was about to pull the trigger, she Cheetah immediately scooped sand in her hand and threw it at Amour’s face.

    “F*+*k!” Amour hissed when the sand entered her eye.

    Cheetah immediately stood up and launched to grab the gun from Amour but Amour wasted no time in pulling the trigger

    Romanio made his way to the computer lab immediately they arrived.

    “Get the bags to the store room” Hellcat said and went in.

    Clyde looks weak as he got out of the car.

    “Are you ok?, Clyde!” Virus rushed to him before Rapunzel or Pandora could.

    Bullet smirked.

    “Don’t touch me” Clyde glared at her, and she relented sadly.

    Rapunzel and Pandora came at the same time, and they guided him each by a side.

    Nightingale pretended to faint immediately he got out of the car, right beside Terrius.

    He was about to bend beside her when Romanio stormed out angrily.

    He didn’t talk to anyone before kicking Nightingale away from beside the car.

    “Ahhhhhh!!!” She yelled in pains as she rolled down the park.

    He got in the car and zoomed out fast.

    “What’s happening?” Rapunzel thought aloud.

    Lush rushed into the park.

    “Aaron took baby Donna away!” She announced, and all eyes widened.

    “The f+ck!” Terrius and Rapunzel said.

    Clyde quickly stood on his own.

    “He messaged Lord Rosario during the battle, and he’s off to get them, thankfully he planted a tracker in baby Donna’s rosary, the fool took her to the ghetto” Lush further said.

    Clyde got into the black Benz immediately, and Rapunzel got in with him, Hellcat ran out and joined, then Terrius and Pandora.

    Clyde drove them out.

    Nightingale stood and smiled, holding her bleeding arm.

    “Father died cos a woman called Mary, and now another Mary is about to make the son lose his life, how pathetic” she blabbered, and Lush closed her eyes.

    She switched her eyes to laser mode, and when she opened them, red light shone from them, directly at Nightingale, sending shockwaves into Nightingale’s body.

    She started shaking on her spot as the currents hit her repeatedly.

    “Arrggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Nightingale screamed as she shook involuntarily.

    Lush kept widening her eyes more, and more shockwaves kept hitting her.

    “Lush stop!” Virus screamed.

    “F+cking stop!” Bullet yelled too, but she didn’t.

    Virus got her gun and shot, but Pierce rushed out and blocked the bullet with his palm after switching it to metal mode.

    The bullet hit his palm and bounced off, and Lush’s eyes returned to normal.

    Nightingale fell on the ground, shedding blood from her eyes.

    “Mind what you say about Lord Rosario and my baby Donna” Lush smirked, and Nightingale looked at her unbelievably.

    Pierce took her away.

    “Wait….what just happened?, They have such abilities?” Bullet said shockingly.

    “Wow!” Virus smirked.

    Nightingale stood, but the shock is still in her body, so she fell back.

    “Pitiful” Bullet said and helped her up.

    He took her in and Virus got her phone, remembering how Clyde got in the car as fast as lightening when he heard about Mary.

    She pressed record on a secret messaging app.

    “Hey Dagger, I need you to do something for me, reply immediately you listen to this” she whispered on her phone before pressing send.

    She deleted the app immediately.

    “Mary, your doom is on its way” she smiled.

    ROGUES GHETTO**

    “Gucci?” Aaron said, looking stupefied.

    Gucci smiled sinisterly, walking to him.

    “Two flies from your clan brought down two men from my coven, you think the threat note I sent you your clan was a joke?, They took all my f+cking money!” She yelled, her eyes glimmering with danger.

    Aaron swallowed nothing down his dry throat as he started reaching for a fork in his pocket unsuspected.

    “I’m death myself!, No one toys with me!, And that’s why I’m gonna make the Gambino brothers pay!” Gucci barked again, her voice making cold sweat drop through his backbone line.

    Gucci looked at Mary and smiled.

    “She’s doesn’t belong to a floor member, you wouldn’t try to elope with her if she belongs to an ordinary member, meaning….” She said, walking to Mary.

    Aaron touched the fork.

    “She belongs to one of the two Lords, and whoever it is… will soon be here” Gucci said, sighting the tiny tracker in Mary’s neck.

    “I belong to Lord Rosario” Mary said sleepily, turning on the bed.

    “Bingo!” Gucci smiled, and Mary’s eyes flew open.

    Aaron brought out the knife and made to stab Gucci, but Mr husky threw a sword which cut off Aaron’s right hand completely.

    “Argghhhhh!!!!” He screamed, going down as Gucci grabbed Mary by the hair.

    “Ouuuuchhhh!!!” She screamed as her scalp stung.

    Gucci dragged her out of the room through the backdoor, and the front door broke down immediately.

    Rosario came in, wet with blood from his head.

    He’s still bleeding, his nature is to bleed like crazy at any slight wound.

    “Rogues!” Mr husky shouted, and numerous giants filled up the room immediately.

    Without waiting, Rosario threw down a stinging smoke bomb.

    Smoke filled the room, and he took the opportunity to go out through the backdoor.

    When the smokes cleared, Romanio came in.

    “Come one by one, no rushing” he said, punching the nearest on the throat.

    He fell with a loud thud.

    Clyde came in with the rest, and another battle started.

    ****

    Rosario got confused on where to go when he got out through the backdoor.

    No sign of Mary or Gucci anywhere.

    He roughed his hair, thinking about what’ll happen to him if Mary really disappears.

    “F*+*k!” He spat, hearing a gagged voice from a far distance immediately.

    He followed the sound and started seeing blood traces.

    Gucci definitely wounded her already, he went more crazy.

    He started tracing the blood for almost an hour till he got to the sea.

    A ship is on the shore, and inside it, he saw Mary!

    She’s bleeding from the arm, sitting on the ground while holding the arm, Gucci actually stabbed her arm when she was struggling with her.

    “Donna” Rosario muttered, rushing there.

    He ran into the ship and Gucci smiled from where she’s watching from, then she got her fire arrow.

    “My…my… Lord” Mary stuttered when she saw Rosario.

    His bloody head and shirt made tears come out of her eyes.

    He kept running to her, and she kept crying and bleeding.

    Gucci lightened the arrow beak and set it in the bow.

    The fire was burning gloriously as she aimed for the ship.

    “Goodbye… Rosario Gambino” she said, releasing the arrow.

    It flew straight to the ship, and immediately it hit it, fire erupted.

    The ship blew up.
