He hasn’t released her when he brought out his phone…

“Can i get your number? Please”

Lovelyn took the phone slowly, and he began typing her number.

Richie watched intently as her fingers tapped on the phone screen. She’s got pink nail polish on her nails, and it’s so cute.

She finished typing and gave the phone back to him.

“Your nails are cute, did you fix them?” He asked, and she looked at the nails before replying.

“No. I have naturally long nails so I only painted them”

“Ruby told me your mum is an investor in the states” he said, and she smiled awkwardly as they walked back to the living room and sat beside each other.

“Oh…yes” she said, hoping he won’t press further on the topic.

“Can you talk freely to me like this from now on? Please?” he said, and she nodded once.

Can he just stop saying please? The way he says it in a low voice sounds too s+xy in her ears

He was about to talk again when the doorbell rang.

“They must be here” he stood and went to open the door.

“Is Love here already?” Ruby asked.

“Yeah” he replied, and she rushed in.

    “Annyeong” Mira waved at him.

“Your knuckles tattoos are nice” he said.

“I got it done at Razor’s place when I travelled to the US last year” she replied.

“Razor Dolce? I got mine done with him too” he replied, and they did a fist bump.

“I’m Mira by the way, the third wheel of this friendship” she said.

    “You’re cool” Richie replied.

“You too” she said, and they chuckled as they joined Lovelyn and Ruby in the living room.

“I’m just glad your sick psycho of a girlfriend is not around” Ruby said.

“Can we start solving the math already? I don’t have much time. I have to meet dad” he replied, and she pouted as they all brought their notes and textbooks out.

“Calculus? It’s the simplest math subject” he said when he saw the questions.

“What!” The three chorused, and he looked at them.

“Yeah” he replied firmly, and Lovelyn’s admiration for him grew wider immediately.

She’s a brilliant student, but calculus still gives her problems, and now there’s someone who finds it easy? Well a genius is a genius.

He began solving the questions while they all payed attention, watching as he did it step by step.

“Wait, I think we’d approximate here” Ruby suddenly said.

“Approximation? Are you kidding?” He replied, and she pouted.

“I think almighty formula comes in here” Lovelyn said, and he looked at her.

“Correct, now listen everyone, this is the most important part” he said and resumed the solving, but this time, Lovelyn shifted her gaze from the book to his face.

Is it really a good idea to receive tutor from this guy? He doesn’t even have to try, he’s endearing.

She began sucking the top of her pen into her mouth as she stared at him so hard, watching his lips move as he talked about the equations.

“So…that’s it, you guys should he able to solve the rest by yourself” he suddenly said, and that brought her back to her senses.

    The tutoring is over already?

“Thanks smartie” Mira said, and Richie smiled lightly as they all began packing their notes into their backpacks.

“I love you Richie!” Ruby winked.

“Go learn calculus” He replied, tucking his hands into his pockets as they started walking out.

“You aren’t gonna see us out?” Ruby asked.

“I don’t want to” he replied, and she rolled eyes before going out.

Mira stepped out next, and when Lovelyn made to step out too…

“I guess I’d have to use mask the next time I’d tutor you guys, you were staring throughout” he said, and her eyes widened as she turned back.

    He saw that?

“But I like it, when you stare” he said with a short smile, and she bit her lip in embarrassment before walking out.

Few minutes after the girls left, Richie dressed up and left the house too.

    *

    HAN MANSION*

Bernie sat quietly on the fancy swivel chair in the middle of his room, eyes closed with his black headphones on as usual.

Though he’s listening to his favorite sad music to wave unwanted thoughts away from his head, but it’s not working.

Lovelyn’s case is so bothersome, and he’s sure he won’t sleep well tonight.

He opened his eyes and removed his headphones.

She denied that she’s not the one he saw, but he’s got sharp eyes, and his instincts don’t lie

He knows for real that she’s the one, and her fake shoes…

“What else should I check?” He muttered, and when he suddenly remembered something, he got his phone and dialled a number, the enrollment office.

It was picked by the enrollment officer himself.

“Mr Gong? I need you to check something” he said.

“Young master Bernie?” The man said, recognizing his voice immediately.

“Lovelyn Jeong, check her parents name in her enrollment form, and give me her address too” he said.

    “But…

“You know better than to ask questions, I’m f*+*king waiting” he cut him off.

“Just a minute, please hold on” Mr. Gong replied, and he inhaled as he waited for three minutes before the officer talked again.

“Her mum is Janet Jeong, and she’s an investor in the US. Her dad is dead, and he was also an investor before his death. Her house address wasn’t included in the form, that’s all” he reported, and Bernie hung up immediately.

“Her house address wasn’t included? Another reason to be curious… Damn it! I hate getting curious but this girl…this girl is…shit!” He said, and the door opened, revealing Mrs. Han.

“Hey sweetheart, I texted you about the answers to tommorow’s text questions, but I guess you didn’t see it. I got the answers anyways, here” she said, handing him the papers.

Bernie looked at the papers disgustingly before snatching them from her.

He began tearing them apart, and her eyes widened.

“Bernie I payed hugely for that!”

“I don’t care! I’m not so brilliant but i can still manage to pass on my own! So get out of my room!” He shouted.

“Your dad is making life hard for me with his false accusations, and you’ve started with your rebellion too? Bernie please…

“False accusations? I saw you too! I saw you with that man at the hotel! I saw everything!” He shouted, and her eyes widened.

    “Bernie… Bernie it’s not…

“It’s even hard to call you my mum, I hate you so much, and I hate dad more!” He shouted with already red eyes, and when she tried holding him, he pushed her out of the room and shut the door hard

“Bernie we need to talk, Bernie!” Mrs. Han shouted from outside, and he grabbed the swivel chair angrily, throwing it at the wall.

It made a loud crashing sound which scared Mrs. Han so much.

    “Bernie!!!!”

    *

    KIM MANSION*

“Son” Mr. Kim smiled big, standing from the sofa when Richie came in.

“Dad!” He rushed into his arms, and they hugged tightly.

“What took you so long on the trip? You didn’t even get to attend my welcoming party”

“The party that got ruined by the idiot you brought from the US?” Mr. Kim replied as he broke the hug.

    “Dad…

“Your mum told me everything already, so it’s of no use defending yourself. Cut your relationship with her immediately and find a decent Korean girl” he cut him off as he sat.

“Heard that?” Mrs. Kim said, coming downstairs.

“Whatever” he replied, sitting beside Mr. Kim.

“Prepare to take over the company next week anyways, it’s hightime I rest” Mr. Kim said.

    “Sure, dad” he smiled.

“Dinner is ready, I told the maids to add truffle” Mrs. Kim pulled him up together with the father.

“I’mma eat a lot” he said.

“Stop saying that everytime. The moment you get to the dinning room, you’d leave after using three hours to eat six full chopsticks, your slow eating habit is still same” Ruby replied, coming downstairs too.

“I’m comfortable with it” he replied, and the parents laughed as they all moved to the dinning.

    *

    HWASA’S PLACE*

It’s a cheap studio apartment, and though it’s one small room, at least she gets space to sleep with her mum.

She’s got loads of part-time jobs and gigs just to feed herself and her mum. The gas station, the resturant, the coffee shop and the teaching gigs.

She returned from her last job tonight and removed her dirty shoes by the door, throwing them into a pail of water to soak before going in, but surprisingly, she met the door open.

Her mum never leaves the door open, so…

She rushed inside, and to her utmost shock, she met Mabel and Yuri with their boys, and her eyes widened.

“eomma!” She shouted, rushing to the old woman who’s suffering from dumbness. She can’t talk.

“eomma! gwaenchana? Uh?” She asked impatiently, and the woman replied with a sign language that she’s ok.

“I’m not that wicked, so there’s no way I’d do anything to your ugly mother who can’t even talk” Mabel replied from behind, and she faced them.

“What again? The ones you always do to me in school is not enough? Why are you in my house!” She shouted.

“House?” Mabel replied, blowing cigar smokes out of her nose as she laughed with her minions.

“This is basically a box dear, you live in a box cos my toilet at home is bigger!” Yuri said, and they laughed again.

Mabel walked to Hwasa, and she quickly covered her mum.

“We only came cos we missed you in school today. It wasn’t fun, so don’t miss school tommorow, ok darling?” She said, stroking Hwasa’s hair.

“Open your mouth” she ordered, and Hwasa shakily did it.

She shoved the cigar inside, and Hwasa started coughing.

“See ya tomorrow!” She winked and left with her gang.

    *

    RICHIE’S MANSION*

It’s bedtime, but Jessica is still not back, and that got Richie pacing around.

He’s wearing a really baggy sweater and joggers cos of the cold, and he held his phone with his right hand while the left one stayed in his pocket as he dialled Jessica’s line repeatedly, but she’s not picking.

He can’t sleep on a bed without her, and sleeping on a couch is too uncomfortable. Sleeping in the tub will be hell cos of the cold right now.

He was about to dial her line again when her video call came in on WhatsApp.

He picked, and her face came to view in a noisy club where she’s surrounded by several guys.

“I want you to miss me tonight baby! You’d know my worth by the time I return tommorow morning, and the p+ssy you love f*+*king is gonna get f*+*ked by two guys tonight. I’m gonna be doing a freaking threes0me!” She shouted, and Richie could clearly see the guys fondling with her b*+*bs already.

“Goodnight baby!” She shouted and hung up.

Without saying a word, he got the duvet from the bed and left the room, going downstairs.

He was about to lay on the couch when he saw an hairpin on the ground.

He slowly picked it when he remembered he saw it in Lovelyn’s hair earlier, and he eventually lay on the couch, staring at it.

He got his phone and went to his contacts to look at her number which he saved as LOVIE, and he was almost tempted to dial, but he stopped himself and dropped the phone.

He folded his palm on the hairpin and covered himself with the duvet as his long lashes hugged each other.

He drifted off to sleep after some hours.

    *

    NEXT DAY, HORIZON HIGHSCHOOL*

The senior class students could be seen hanging around, trying to revise their notes for the upcoming test.

Mabel is currently in the restroom with the expo papers, she’s still trying to memorize the answers to the objective questions.

    “1A, 2C, 3A, 4B, 5E…

“Is that the expo papers?” A voice said behind her, and she turned briskly to see Ruby.

“So.. what? You’re gonna report me?” She said, and Ruby smiled.

“Report? I’m not that daft, let’s memorize together” she said and came closer.

“You’re a VIP too, your parents didn’t get it for you?” Mabel rolled eyes.

“They hate things like this so let’s just share” Ruby replied, and they began memorizing together.

Lovelyn has been watching from the door, and the moment she saw that, she turned to leave, but she saw Bernie ahead.

“F+k!” Her eyes widened, and she took the other way.

“Nice escape” Bernie smirked and got a call immediately.

“You planted the tracker in her hair already? Good job” he said and hung up.

    He smiled before walking away.

    *

    AN HOUR LATER*

The test was finally over, and students began filing out of the senior class tiredly.

“I’m sure I’d get an A, I did everything correctly!” Ruby said.

“Is that a joke? You’ve never had an A, it’s always D” Mira replied.

“You’d be shocked this time, let the results come out tommorow first” she said, and Lovelyn bit her lip, remembering when she saw her memorizing the answers with Mabel earlier.

“Let’s go eat snacks at the cafeteria” Mira said, and they were about to move when students began screaming.

    👥 Lady Genevieve!!!

👥 Now I know where Mabel got her perfect skin from!

    👥 She’s so beautiful!

    👥 I wish she’s my mum!

    👥 She’s pretty!

Lady Genevieve walked into the hallway dressed in her usual regal appearance with students shouting behind her, and at the same time, Vista came out of the classroom with Bernie and Savage.

“Told you you’re in trouble” Savage said as Lady Genevieve walked straight to them.

She singled Vista out and slapped him hard, causing everyone to gasp.

“How dare you touch my daughter!” She demanded, and Vista rubbed his cheek.

Bernie and Savage were about to step in when Mabel came out of the class.

“Mum! I told you it was a mistake! He has a crush on me so there’s no reason for him to hit me intensionally” she ran to her, and Lady Genevieve scoffed.

“Whatever. Either intentionally or mistakenly, I hate seeing you get hurt, your skin is too precious” she said, and Mabel smiled.

“I’ll just go see the principal, let’s go” she said and pulled Mabel along as she left the hallway.

Vista caressed the walls of his mouth with his tongue and smiled.

“Fine. I’ll play with you a bit, Mabel. I can be insane too” he muttered.

    *

    CLOSING HOUR*

Richie’s car drove into the lot, and Mira was the first person he met when he came out.

“Smartie, what are you doing here?” She asked.

“Is Lovelyn gone already?” He asked.

“Yeah, that’s her car ahead” she replied, pointing at it.

He got back in his car and started following the car. He’s actually planning to return her hairpin.

The car was driving too fast on the road, so he couldn’t catch up till it arrived at an old street.

The car stopped in front of a semi-basement apartment, and Lovelyn came out.

Jackson drove the car away immediately, and she went in.

Richie came out of his car in shock, staring at the apartment.

“She lives here? Her mum is an investor so….”

He stopped talking and went in nevertheless.

Immediately he went in, Bernie’s car stopped in front of the house too.

He has been trailing her, thanks to the tracker he had someone plant on her.

    “I knew it, she’s a broke @ss” he muttered.

    *

Richie got to the door of Lovelyn’s room and met it open, and he saw her.

She changed from her school uniform to a bum short and singlet already, and she’s currently dancing to ‘GUM’ by Jessi.

She’s playing the song so loud on her phone, and she’s using the same phone as microphone to sing along, dancing so wild.

    🎶 Gum gum gum gum…

    🎶 Gum gum gum (gum)

Richie’s eyes widened as she began moving her waist, it was so s+xy that he almost forgot he was standing by her doorstep.

She’s living here? In a semi-basement apartment? Has she been lying?

Lovelyn is so much into the dance that she didn’t even notice someone is watching by the door.

Richie was still standing there when Bernie came into the apartment too, and his eyes widened when he saw him coming towards that direction.

He quickly entered the room and shut the door, and that brought Lovelyn back.

She stopped dancing and turned around only to see Richie in her house.

Her eyes widened, and she parted her lips…

    “Rich…

Before she could land, Richie was already with her.

He drapped an arm drapped on her waist as he pulled her to himself, making her b+*bs slam on his chest, and she grabbed his upper arms for support.

She made to call his name again, but he quickly placed his pointer finger on her lips…quick but gentle.

“Shh” he whispered, holding her tighter by the waist.

    “Lovelyn!” Bernie shouted from outside.

    TBC.

He changed the lights from red to white, and their eyes met as their faces came to view.

Lovelyn went pale with shock like blood got drained from her face, and she’d have dashed out of the room immediately, but his next words stopped her…

“Wanted to see what the popular Kitten looks like under the white light. Now that I’ve satisfied my curiousness, get to work, b**ch” he said and switched the lights back to red before taking his seat.

He didn’t recognize her as Lovelyn!

Lovelyn secretly inhaled in relief, and she inwardly thanked the heavy makeup on her face before going down on her knees.

A slow song began playing automatically in the room, and she got her body accustomed to it.

He’s paying a lot for this, so he should at least get his money’s worth, she’s gonna forget the fact that he’s Bernie and make tonight memorable for him.

She began her legendary cat dance, whining and twisting on her knees before going on all fours, making some f*+*king s+ductive moves which got him moving on his seat.

He’s obviously getting affected, and she’s loving the effect.

Effects is a stripper’s energy, so she got boosted and crawled to him. She placed a leg on the space beside his chair, then her two hands on his shoulder as she leaned into his face with a s*xy smile.

She swiped her tongue on her lips, and she saw his eyes flicker with lust. Obviously, the almighty cold Bernie can’t survive her seduction either.

He has been folding his fingers since the start of the dance, trying not to touch her since it’s against the rules, but the moment she sat on his laps and began a crazy lap dance, he raised his hands to touch her butt, but she was quick to stand from his laps.

The red timer on the table beeped, indicating the end of the ten minutes show.

Without waiting another second, Lovelyn walked out of the room, and he rested back on the chair, closing his eyes.

“That was…fun” he muttered with a little handsome smile.

    *

    DRESSING ROOM, 20 MINUTES LATER*

Lovelyn changed back to her trousers and blouse already, the thong is gone, and she’s impatiently waiting for Madam Cash.

She remembered how Bernie tried to touch her earlier during the dance, and she giggled.

A cold bastard like him should be immune to ladies, but who’d have thought he’d bend to her charms.

Well.. he can’t be completely blamed, she’s Kitten after all.

Madam Cash finally came in, and she handed two envelopes to her.

“The first one contains 200 thousand dollars, the pay for your general show. The second one contains same amount for the private show you did for that young master” she said, and Lovelyn’s eyes widened.

“But you told me 500 thousand, how come I’m getting just 200 out of it all?”

“Well…logic changed tonight and there’s nothing you can do about it” Madam Cash replied and started leaving, but Lovelyn ran after her and blocked her way.

“You can’t do this, the contract I signed says I get 50 percent pay from all my shows and the clubhouse gets 50, I’m entitled to 250 thousand dollars if you’re to be fair, don’t do this” she said desperately.

“Aren’t you becoming too greedy? I’m only asking to take it this night so see ya tomorrow, Kitten” Madam Cash patted her and made to leave again, but Lovelyn pulled her back by the hair this time.

“What the hell! Kitten are you…

“Give me my money! I can’t take cheating so give me my money!” Lovelyn shouted, pushing her forward angrily.

Madam Cash fell heavily on the ground.

“Give me my money!!!” Lovelyn shouted, and Madam Cash spranged up.

She made to slap her, but Lovelyn caught the hand before it could get to her face.

“I’m not that soft so there’s no way I’m allowing you to slap me” she shot.

“Lovelyn Jeong, a student of the great Horizon Highschool is the same person as Kitten, the popular stripper at Ginger clubhouse, how’d that sound in the news?” Madam Cash threatened, and Lovelyn swallowed nothing as she let go of her hand.

“You should know your limits so you won’t cross it, Kitten. See ya tomorrow” Madam Cash said and left the room, knowingly bumping her arm on Lovelyn’s

Lovelyn squatted on her spot, staring at the two envelopes painfully.

    As usual, she’s helpless.

    *

    VISTA’S PLACE*

The boys arrived at once, and they all fell on the sofa at the living room.

They’re all gonna be spending the night here since it’s the surest place of peace

Vista’s parents are rarely at home just like now, so they’re free.

“The Kitten girl is good” Bernie said.

“I knew it, you enjoyed yourself” Vista laughed.

“Have you guys ever had a private show with her?” Bernie asked.

“No. We prefer watching her with the others, it’s more fun” Savage said, standing to go get a bottle of wine.

“Who owns that clubhouse anyways? Is it the Madam Cash?” Bernie asked curiously again.

“Like I heard, it’s owned by the popular cult society” Vista replied.

“Agora cult? Those motherf*+*kers terrorized Korea years ago, why is their clubhouse still in operation?” Bernie said.

“Obviously, they’ve got connections with the government. The leader of the cult is a powerful person, and Madam Cash is only working for that person. Heard they rake billions of dollars in the club every night, especially with that Kitten girl” Savage replied as he walked back to them with the wine.

“No wonder she’s expensive, had to pay two million for a private show with her” Bernie said.

“We do pay one million per person for her general show, she’s just too s+xy” Vista replied, and his phone dinged.

He got his phone and checked his WhatsApp, and he smiled when he saw what it is.

Another nude picture from Mabel where she’s fingering herself.

“This girl is crazy” he laughed.

    “Who’s that?” Bernie asked.

“Mabel obviously, she has been sending nudes and s+x videos to Vista lately” Savage replied.

“Eew!” Bernie squeezed his face, and the other two laughed.

“Wait Bernie, when last did you f*+*k?” Vista asked.

“Can’t remember, that shit is boring” he replied, taking a cup of wine as his mind went to Lovelyn.

    “That Lovelyn girl” he muttered.

“Planning to make her eat sand again?” Vista laughed.

“Not that, something is not right about her” he replied as he drank.

    *

    LEE MANSION*

Mabel just finished putting on her clothes after snapping the picture she sent to Vista, and she smiled as she stared at her WhatsApp, waiting for his reply.

“He dare not go crazy after seeing that, I’ve got the best p+ssy” she said, pressing her own b*+*bs hornily.

“Gosh! His c*+*k would taste so good!” She fantasized, biting her finger slightly.

“Baby!” Lady Genevieve said from the door.

“Mum!” She rushed down from the bed and ran to open the door

“Thought you were already asleep” she said.

“I waited till I got this” Lady Genevieve replied, handing her some papers.

“The senior class first test is coming up in two days, make sure you memorize everything in these papers, they’re the answers to the questions that’d come out”

“Aww! You’re the best as usual! I love you so much mum!” Mabel jumped and hugged her tightly.

“I love you more baby” Lady Genevieve chuckled, hugging her back.

    *

    LOVELYN’S PLACE*

After her night shower, Lovelyn came back to her reading table and sat tiredly.

She got the shopping bag from Richie earlier and brought out the phone box.

She hasn’t opened it since then, so she gently opened it, unboxing the phone.

She smiled when she took it and put it on. It’s the latest Samsung.

“I got a new phone” she muttered, bringing the phone to her lips to kiss.

She suddenly noticed it’s not the only thing in the bag, so she dipped her hand and surprisingly found a note.

    • I don’t know why you’ve been avoiding my eyes, are they scary? I’m really looking forward to the day you’d look me in the eye, Lovelyn.

She smiled after reading that, and she kept reading it over and over again for almost thirty times.

“Your eyes aren’t scary, their beauty just make my heart race too much” she mumbled, finally folding the note.

She opened the drawer on the table and gently placed it inside, then she opened her school purse and brought out the two purple plasters he used on her knees earlier.

She rolled them neatly beside the note and smiled again before closing the drawer.

“Uh! The moon is out!” She suddenly stood, walking to the window.

She opened it and smiled widely when she saw the moon is really out, and she clasped her palms together, closing her eyes to make a wish.

    *

    NEXT DAY, HORIZON HIGHSCHOOL*

“The first test is tommorow? That’s trash. This is still the first week of resumption so why would they fix our first test this early?” Ruby complained as she checked the timetable out on the class group.

“Are you really Richie’s twin? You’re too dumb for that position” Mira replied beside her.

“I’ve been reading after every of our classes, so I’m not scared about the test, I’m sure I’ll get an A” Lovelyn said confidently.

“I read every night, so I’m covered too, baby!” Mira replied, and they stuck hands

“You girls are wicked, why do I have to be the only one who hates reading?” Ruby pouted.

“Make it your hobby, and it’d become an habit, it’s not rocket science” Mira said, and Lovelyn laughed as they entered the class together.

“Huh? Hwasa is not in school? Today won’t be fun” Ruby said immediately she noticed Hwasa’s empty seat.

“Wait Ruby, I don’t know why you also see fun in bullying, you’re not different from Mabel and Yuri at this rate” Mira said.

“Don’t compare me to Mabel” Ruby replied.

“Oh please” Mira rolled eyes and walked to her seat

“Not your fault” Ruby said and also left for her seat

Lovelyn looked at Hwasa’s seat again and became worried.

‘Is she ok?’ She thought as she walked to her seat.

” The Fabulous!!!!” A girl suddenly screamed, and they all turned to the door to see the three hotties walking in.

    👥 Babies!!!

    👥 S+xy munches!

👥 I badly wanna eat them!

👥 Aww! Vista looks cuter today, those lips!

    👥 Savage is so unreal!

    👥 See my Bernie!

“Are they attending classes today? Today won’t be good definitely” Mira shook her head, staring at Vista.

Lovelyn quickly placed her head on her desk, avoiding Bernie.

“Why did they have to come for classes today? Can’t they just stay at their lounge as usual? Jeez!” She muttered, shutting her eyes.

Immediately Vista sat, Mabel walked up to him and sat on his desk, taking the book he’s holding.

“Get lost” Vista said simply, taking the book from her.

She snatched it from him again, and before he knew it, she tore it and threw the pieces away.

“What the f*+*k is your problem?” Vista looked up.

“Good, now you’re looking at me. Why didn’t you reply to my picture last night?” She demanded, and Savage smiled from his seat, enjoying the drama.

On the other hand, Bernie is searching for Lovelyn with his eyes.

“Must I answer that question?” Vista said, and Mabel pulled him up by the collar.

“You’re not a VIP student remember? I can ruin your life with just a call to my mum, so you better dance to my tunes. Kiss me right now” she ordered, and he pushed her away from himself immediately.

“Normally I love to f*+*k, and I can’t resist p+ssy, but I’d rather go into extinction than f*+*k yours” he said, and she slapped him as expected.

Mira made to stand from her seat, but Lovelyn held her back.

“If you intervene, you’d be the one to get punished” she said, and Mira  folded her fists.

“Are you insane? How dare you turn me down continuously” Mabel demanded, and Vista picked a book from Savage’s desk.

He slapped her with the book, and she fell on the ground.

“Mabel!” Yuri rushed to her as she began bleeding from the nose.

“Vista you’re in trouble” Savage said.

“I don’t care” he replied and walked out of the class.

Yuri took Mabel out of class too, and that was when Bernie sighted Lovelyn.

He smirked and walked to her desk, knocking it loudly.

She slowly raised her head, and he smirked again.

“The rooftop” he said and walked out of class.

She dived her hand into her hair crazily. “I’m dead”

    *

    THREE MINUTES LATER, ROOFTOP*

Bernie and Lovelyn are currently standing face-to-face, looking straight at each other.

“You’re the one I saw in the green bus that night” he said.

“Not me. I drive a Ferrari and a Bugatti” she bluntly denied, and he almost laughed.

    “Are you kidding me?”

“It’s really not me, your eyes are defective I guess. Can I go now? Bye!” She said and started leaving.

“Your shoes!” He said, and she stopped.

“They’re fake” he said again, and she swallowed hard before facing him slowly.

“I got them from Paris, I can bring you the box if you want so please…let me be Bernie” she said in a rush and ran down the stairs.

“Now I got more curious” Bernie muttered, and his phone beeped.

He checked to see a text from his mum.

    • Heard your first test is tommorow, do you need answers to the questions?

    He hissed before going downstairs.

    *

    6PM, RICHIE’S MANSION*

Jackson drove Lovelyn in in a Bugatti, and she came down with her backpack.

They have a maths assignment to solve, and it was Ruby who suggested they meet here including Mira, so Richie will help them with it.

No Mira or Ruby’s car in sight, so she blinked.

“Are they not here yet?” She muttered and looked at the mansion.

Even without seeing Richie, she was already feeling her racing heartbeats.

She took a deep breath before ringing the doorbell, and a second passed before Richie opened the door himself.

Her face went down immediately as his perfume filled her nose.

Richie squinted cutely. “Lovelyn?” He said.

“I’ll just wait for my friends” she replied, and he opened the door wider.

She went in and sat gently on the sofa, still not looking up.

“Jessica isn’t around, so feel free while waiting” he said.

“Ok” she replied, and he looked at her knees to see if they’re healed before sitting across her.

There was silence, and it became awkward so Richie got his phone and began scrolling online.

He slightly looked up at a point and peered at her.

Her face is still down, and he smiled cutely before returning to his phone.

Lovelyn on the other hand began praying with her mind for Mira and Ruby’s quick arrival.

Her heart might just burst at this rate. Her crush is right in front of her, alone in this mansion.

She bit her lip as she slowly looked up, trying to steal a glance, but she saw him staring at her already, and her eyes widened.

She spranged up and started going for the door. “I’ll just wait outside!”

She got to the door but it refused to open no matter how much she tried, so she turned back, only to find Richie behind herself already.

    “I…I… I’m…

“I’m sure you saw my note, so why still behaving like this around me?” He said, coming closer.

She shifted back again, and her back hit the door, but he didn’t stop coming closer till his body was pinning on hers.

    She wasn’t breathing, literally.

“Look at me” he whispered, and she bit her lip.

“Look up, at my eyes” he whispered again, and she slowly started looking up, lifting her lashes till her eyes finally caught his own.

She made to look away immediately, but he held her chin delicately to stop that, and she held her breath as a result of excess nervousness.

What the f*+*k is he doing to her??? It was crazy.

“Breath” he whispered, and she released the breaths she has been holding.

“Call my name” he whispered again, making sure their eyes don’t leave each other.

“Richie” her small voice came in a whisper, and he smiled.

“That sounds hot” he said with his cute little squint, and she bit her lip slightly again, staring at his face.

He hasn’t released her when he brought out his phone…

“Can i get your number? Please”

Please”

Rohan drove home with a smile still plastered on his face, his mind replaying the wonderful evening he had with Arya. He entered the living room, heading to his room upstairs, without noticing his family seated at the dining table, who had come to pay him a surprise visit.

They watched him climb the stairs to his room, their faces filled with amusement.

“Mom, Dad, did he see us, or are we now invisible to him?” Ram asked, his eyes sparkling with mischief. He was Rohan’s younger brother, just twelve years old.

“I guess he looks so happy, I’m sure his blind date went well.”Mrs. Singh smiled knowingly.

“Should we go and see for ourselves?”Mr. Singh’s eyes twinkled with curiosity.

They nodded in unison, stood up, and climbed the staircase to Rohan’s room. When they reached his doorstep, Ram tapped on the door gently.

Rohan, who was in his room taking off his clothes to freshen up, heard the knock and thought it might be his cook. He opened the door, and his eyes widened in surprise as he saw his family standing in his doorway, their faces beaming with smiles.

He let out a startled scream and quickly shut the door, trying to process if it was really his family standing outside his room.

“Rohan, open the door!” Mrs. Singh called out, knocking on the door again.

Rohan took a deep breath, composed himself, and opened the door, forcing a smile onto his face. His family entered the room, their eyes scanning his face, eager to know about his blind date.

Rohan’s eyes widened in surprise as he faced his family, who were now seated on his bed, their faces filled with amusement.

“What are you all doing here?” he asked.

“Is this how you welcome your family that you haven’t seen for a week?”Mrs. Singh said, feigned a frown, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

“Why did you scream and close the door when you saw us?”Ram asked.

“Because you all got me scared. You never told me you were coming to my house.”

“We came to pay you a surprise visit and also to know about your blind date.” Mr.Singh said.

“Wait, let me get this straight. You mean to tell me, you all left your house to come to mine just to ask about my blind date?”

His family nodded simultaneously, their faces grinning from ear to ear. Rohan sighed tiredly, shaking his head at their antics.

“So, tell us, son, how did it go?” She pulled him down to sit beside her.

“We are curious to know. Please tell us, so we can start preparing for the arrangement to meet her one on one.” Mr.Singh said.

Rohan’s family nodded in unison, their faces filled with anticipation. Rohan sighed and stared at them, his face a mix of amusement and resignation.

    _____________★★★★_________

The next morning, they sat around the dining table, enjoying their breakfast. Mrs. Singh’s eyes sparkled with curiosity.

“So, son, when are we seeing this Arya girl you went on a date with?”

“How did you know her name was Arya? I never mentioned her name.”

“You did, last night when we asked you about your date. You kept mentioning her name countless times without knowing.”Ram teased.

“When are we seeing her? I am dying to meet my future daughter-in-law.” He asked, and his wife nodded in agreement, her eyes shining with anticipation.

“Easy, family, we only just went out once.”

“Then go out with her again. This is actually the first time you went on a blind date and returned home with a smile. You wouldn’t stop complimenting how she is.” She said.

“There’s something you should also know about her.”

     “What?”Mr. Singh’s eyes narrowed.

    Rohan hesitated before speaking. “She…She’s Karan’s ex-wife.”

He raised his face to see any reaction on their faces, but they remained neutral.

“And?…We know about that, Viti told us already.”Mrs. Singh spoke up, a hint of a smile on her face.

     “You all knew?”

His family nodded in unison, their faces breaking into smiles.

“Although I haven’t seen her in person, but I am really dying to meet her. And I can see you like her already.”Mrs. Singh said, smiling.

Rohan’s face turned bright red, and he looked down. His family continued eating, their faces filled with knowing smiles.

        *KABIR’S MANSION*

Arya and Maya were busy helping out in the kitchen, while the rest of the family lounged in the living room, engaged in various activities.

Ved spoke up, his brow furrowed. “Kiara and Sonia, why are you two just sitting there instead of helping Arya and Maya in the kitchen?”

Zara nodded in agreement. “I think he’s right.”

Kiara rolled her eyes, her look dismissive. “I don’t want to get my hands dirty. I just polished my nails.”

Sonia chimed in, her voice equally nonchalant. “Me too.”

Jash’s eyes narrowed. “How will you learn how to cook?”

     “We can cook, Uncle.”Sonia shrugged.

“Then prove it by going to the kitchen. I’ve never seen you two in the kitchen cooking for the family. Don’t you know you’ll be somebody’s wives tomorrow?” Zara’s husband said.

“Let them be, they’re still young and full of life. They’ll learn.” Gian intervened. His wife nodded in agreement.

“You haven’t told me the name of the guy you went on a blind date with.” Maya said.

Arya smiled, about to reveal the name, when Samara’s scream pierced the air.

Everyone’s heads turned towards the sound, their faces filled with concern.

They quickly rushed upstairs to Samara’s room. As they opened the door, they saw her looking frightened, clutching the bed to her chest.

“Samara, what’s wrong?”Gian’s wife rushed to her side, her face worried.

Roshni joined in, her voice soothing. “Calm down, tell us what’s wrong.”

Samara panted, her eyes wild with fear. “My baby…she tried to kill my baby.”

“Who’s trying to kill your baby?”Sonia’s eyes widened.

Samara’s eyes scanned the room, landing on Arya, who stood by the door with a worried look.

“She!” Samara accused, pointing at Arya. “She tried to kill my baby.”

The room fell silent, everyone’s faces shocked.

“What are you talking about?” Arya asked confusedly.

“Calm down, Samara, it’s just a dream.”Jash intervened

“It’s not just a dream…I saw her chasing me with a knife, trying to harm my baby.”

“Arya is not someone like that.”Maya said, defensive.

“I know what I saw. She tried to kill my baby.”Samara’s voice rose.

“It’s okay, calm down. It was just a bad dream.”Roshni said, trying to calm her down.

Later in the evening, Karan returned from work, his face tired and worn. Samara greeted him.

“Karan, I had the most terrible dream,” she said, her voice trembling. “I saw her and she was trying to harm our baby,” She continued.

Karan remained neutral as he began to undo his shirt. He didn’t say a word, his silence unsettling.

“Karan, are you listening to me?” Samara asked, her voice rising.

“Samara, don’t let it bother you. Besides, it’s just a dream, so let it go.”

“Is that what you’re going to say?” she asked,  disappointed.

“Look, Samara, I’m tired and I need to freshen up. Then I’ll go downstairs and eat.”

He turned and walked away, leaving Samara staring after him, confusion and frustration etched on her face.

    ~ Dominic ~

There’s a particular madnéss in the way I missed her.

Not the loud kind. Not the sort that howls through your chest or makes a spectacle of you in public. Mine was the quiet kind—slow-burning and insidious, the sort that seeps into your marrow and refuses to let go. I missed Genevieve like breath. Like stillness after chàos. And when I landed in Shanghai and stood before her door, my suitcase still sitting in the car, I didn’t knock straightaway.

    I just breathed.

It was absurd, really—how even the air felt different here. Foreign. Edged with city smoke and the tang of damp stone, but laced with something else… something electric. Her. She was behind that door, and I could feel it.

    So I knocked.

Footsteps. Muffled. Then a voice—sharp, surprised. Familiar. That would be Cora. The one with the acid wit. She opened the door with the finesse of a misfiring android and stared at me as though I’d crawled out of the walls.

    “Dominic Morozov?”

“Good morning to you too,” I replied lightly, managing a polite smile. Her expression was priceless—like she was watching a ghost. “Won’t you invite me in?”

She gawked. Completely stunned. “S-sure… Wh-why don’t you… come in?”

    “Thanks.”

    And there she was.

    Genevieve.

She stood frozen at the table, just staring. No words. No sass. Just those wide, beautiful eyes—uncertain, like she didn’t quite believe I was real. Then something broke inside her, and she moved. Quick. Light-footed. Straight into my arms.

I caught her like I’d done it a hundred times.

    God, I’d missed this.

The way she clung to me like she was meant to be there. Her scent—faintly floral, delicate, all her—wrapped around me as I buried my face in the crook of her neck. She was warm, soft, heartbreakingly alive.

    She was mine.

“What the héll,” she whispered, laughing breathlessly, disbelieving. Her voice trembled with joy, like she didn’t know whether to cry or laugh again. “How are you here?”

“I flew,” I said with a grin, and she gave my chest a playful smack. It didn’t húrt, but it nearly winded me—in the best way. “I missed you too, my Vixen.”

And I meant it. Every bloódy word.

    “You know I missed you.”

“Do I? Do I know that?”

That moment held us suspended—her radiant, me unravelled. Her eyes stripped me bare. I leaned in, drawn like a tide, lips nearly brushing hers—but she stopped me. A palm to my chest. Gentle, firm.

    Restraint.

I sighed, straightening slightly. It was alright. Not now. But soon.

I turned to Cora instead, offering her a hand—anything to ground myself, to stop myself from completely losing it just from being near Genevieve.

“Dominic Morozov, just as you said.”

“I’m, uh—” Cora blinked, seeming to reboot. “Cora.”

“Well then, Cora with no surname, lovely to meet you.”

She smiled, clearly still processing. “I’ve heard so much about you.”

    “Likewise.”

“Oh,” she added, glancing quickly at Genevieve before flicking back to me. “All good things, I hope?”

I nodded. “Oh, absolutely.” Then turned back to Genevieve, the words slipping out before I could stop them. “So now, if you’ll excuse us—I’d quite like to kiss my girlfriend

Cora vanished like she’d been set alight. Her bedroom door clicked shut, and I turned to Genevieve again.

I didn’t kiss her. Not yet.

    I just looked at her.

    Drank her in.

She was wearing joggers and a simple top, barefoot, hair a little tousled—but to me, she looked like a miracle. Somehow more vivid than I remembered, like time apart had only made her clearer.

“I thought you had something incredibly important this week,” she murmured. “What are you doing here?”

“I do have something to do, my Love” I said.

“May I know what it is?”

The urge to tell her nearly won. But no—the reveal needed timing. The right moment. The right sky.

“You’ll see.” I pulled her in close, feeling the way she moulded to me like we were carved from the same shape. “But first,” I breathed against her hair, “let me kiss you.”

    And I did.

    ••

By the time I stood on the rooftop waiting for her, the nerves were beginning to claw in.

The cold air bit through my suit, and my heart thudded slow but heavy.

I didn’t know what scared me more: the idea of what I was about to do—or the thought that she might say no.

Then the door opened, and there she was.

She stepped out like a vision. Red dress clinging to her like it’d been made for that body, her hair smooth and glossy, eyes wide as they found me.

    I could hardly breathe.

She walked toward me, every step knocking something loose in my chest, and I met her halfway. My hand slid around her waist automatically, instinctively. I guided her to the chair with the kind of care I reserved for precious things.

“Are you going to do the very important thing after this?” she asked as she sat, smoothing her dress. “Thanks.”

“This is the very important thing.”

    She blinked. “This date?”

    I nodded.

“And what is it? You know, the thing?”

I wanted to tell her. But not yet. Not until the timing was perfect. Not until the sky had fully darkened and the stars came out as witnesses.

    “Let’s eat first.”

    “But—”

    “Let’s eat first, baby.”

    She sighed. “Okay.”

Her voice was casual. But her fingers trembled slightly as she picked up her fork.

    And me?

I was already falling, deeper than before, terrified and alive because tonight—tonight, I was going to ask her the question that would change everything.

She laughed at something—something I’d said, maybe. I couldn’t recall, not when every pulse in my body was hammering out the same frantic rhythm: do it, do it, do it.

The rooftop shimmered beneath the city lights. It was quiet up here, elevated and private, a cocoon above the chàos of Shanghai. Lanterns swayed gently in the breeze, throwing soft shadows across her face as she tilted her head and sipped her wine.

God, she was beautiful. Unfairly so. And she had every idea of it.

I reached for her hand, tracing idle circles into her palm. Her skin was warm, delicate, and when I finally spoke, my voice was rough—like it’d been dragged through gravel.

    “Genevieve.”

    She looked up. “Hmm?”

“I have to say something, and you need to let me finish.”

Immediately, suspicion flickered behind her eyes. “What’s going on?”

I stood. Walked around the table. My heart had become a goddamn weapon in my chest, beating so loud I could barely hear my own thoughts. I got down on one knee, just as she gasped.

Her hand flew to her mouth. “Dom…”

“I know,” I said, voice trembling. “I know it’s mad. But I’ve always been màd for you, haven’t I? You know how obsesséd I am—God, it’s terrífying how much I love you. But what terrifiés me more is a life without you in it.”

My throat thickened. “A ring can’t promise a perfect life. But it can be a promise that I’ll spend every day choosing you. And yeah, maybe it’s too soon for some—but I can’t keep waiting.”

    She was silent. Stunned.

I pulled out the box. Flipped it open. The ring caught the light and shone like it had a soul.

“I want you to be mine. Publicly. Permanently. I want the whole world to know you’re my person. That I’m yours.”

Tears welled in her eyes, trembling in the lamplight.

“This isn’t about tradition, or some ticking timeline, or whatever the world thinks we’re supposed to do. This is about the fact that when you’re not near me, I feel like I’m living in greyscale. It’s about the way you look at me when you’re annoyed but still love me. The way you say my name like I belong to you—and how f+cking right it feels when you do.”

I took her hand. Kissed her knuckles. Held on like they were the only things anchoring me to this world. “I’ve done monstroús things in this life. Things I’ll never be able to wash off. But somehow… somehow you still look at me like I’m worth saving. Like there’s something good in me. And I’d spend every day proving you right, if you’ll let me.”

I swallowed, “Six years ago, I met this wild-eyed seventeen-year-old girl on a rooftop. You remember? I threatened to throw you off and you didn’t look fazed.”

We both laughed, soft and teary.

“That girl got under my skin and didn’t leave. She made me fall—hard. Now she’s a woman who has achieved so more than I ever thought possible. And she still isn’t afraid of anything.”

The breeze nipped at my cheeks. My hands were trembling. “Genevieve King, you are the most maddening, brilliant, fearless woman I have ever known. I love you beyond reason. So… will you marry me?”

For a heartbeat, she didn’t move. Didn’t speak. She didn’t even breathe. For a moment, I thought I’d overstepped. Pushed too far, too soon.

“Yes,” she whispered. Then louder: “Yes, yes, yes—are you iñsane? Yes!”

She dropped to her knees in front of me and kissed me like she’d waited a lifetime. Hands in my hair, tears on her cheeks, laughter tumbling from her lips as I slid the ring onto her finger with shaking hands.

“God, all the horrible things I thought you were about to say,” she muttered.

I laughed, dazed and breathless. “F+ck, I love you.”

    “I love you more.”

    “Impossible.”

She opened her mouth to argue—but this time, I kissed her silent.

    ••

Her back hit the door of the penthouse the moment we stumbled inside.

I hadn’t planned it—hadn’t meant to kiss her that hard, that desperate—but the second she said yes, the second I felt her hands gripping my face with that breathless laugh against my lips, I lost it.

    She was mine. Mine.

No shadows of doubt. No lingering maybes. She chose me.

    And I was hers.

I kissed her like a man who had waited lifetimes. Pinned her to the door with my hips, one hand cupping her jaw as my mouth devoured hers—hot, open, filthy. Her fingers tangled in my shirt, dragging it up, baring my skin. I tore it off and tossed it somewhere behind us.

“Dominic,” she gasped against my lips.

I lifted her, her legs wrapping around my waist like it was instinct. I walked her backwards through the suite, lips never leaving hers. She tasted like wine and forever. Like something holy.

“You don’t know,” I rasped, kissing down her throat, “what that word did to me.”

    “What word?” she panted.

    “Yes.”

I dropped her onto the bed gently, but my eyes—my hands—were starved. I looked at her like she was sacred. And then I stripped her slow, kissing every inch of skin I uncovered. The curve of her hip. The dip of her waist. The underside of her breast, where she was soft and unguarded.

Her fingers clutched my shoulders as I settled between her thighs, reverent and ravenous.

I kissed her there—tasted her—and she arched off the bed with a gasp so sweet I nearly came undone.

    “You’re shaking,” she whispered, breathless.

“I’ve never wanted anything like this,” I said, my voice wrecked. “Like you.”

Her hand found my jaw, her thumb brushing my cheek. I leaned into it like a starving man.

“Then take me,” she said. “I’m yours.”

That word—yours—tore through me like fire.

I kissed her again, deeper this time, as I slid into her slowly. We both gasped. Her legs wrapped around me tight, her heels digging into my back. And for a moment, I didn’t move. I just looked at her.

Her eyes. Her flushed lips. Her chest rising fast.

“F+ck, Genevieve,” I groaned. “You feel like heaven. Like héll. Like home.”

    And then I moved.

It wasn’t soft. It wasn’t rushed either. It was a rhythm made of devotion and madness, of every emotion I didn’t have words for. She moaned my name like it was a prayer and a curse, her nails raking down my back, her body arching into mine like we couldn’t get close enough.

I whispered everything into her skin—how beautiful she was, how much I loved her, how I’d burn the world for her.

I kissed her through her climax, holding her face as she shattered beneath me, my name falling from her lips like salvation.

And when I followed—groaning, trembling, ruined—I buried my face in her neck and held her like I’d never let go.

We lay tangled in silence, bodies slick with sweat, hearts thundering in sync. Her fingers traced circles on my spine. My hand rested on her belly, protective, possessive, calm.

“You were shaking,” she murmured again.

“Still am,” I confessed into her skin.

She laughed softly and whispered, “You’re such a menace.”

    I smiled. “Yours.”

    I smiled. “Yours.”

The next day, while everyone was busy preparing for Samara’s family visit, Arya was getting ready for her blind date. She dressed up and came out of her room, walking along the passage when she accidentally bumped into Karan, almost falling. Karan quickly grabbed her by the waist, pulling her closer to himself. Their eyes locked for a moment, and Arya’s Wide-eyed in shock.

She pushed away from him quickly, her eyes avoiding his. “I’m sorry…thank you,” she muttered, hurrying away.

Karan stared after her, his expression unreadable.

When Arya entered the living room, everyone’s eyes widened in amazement at her beauty.

“Wow, Arya, is this you?” Jash asked, smiling at her.

Roshni’s eyes sparkled with admiration. “You look perfect, my dear.”

Zara’s husband nodded in agreement. “I’m sure your blind date will be pleased to meet you.”

The room filled with laughter and compliments.

Grandma Viti beamed with pride. “You look great.”

“Thank you all for your compliments.”

However, not everyone shared the same enthusiasm. Sonia and Kiara exchanged furious glances, their faces twisted in disdain.

Ved spoke up, his voice neutral. “You should start going now.”

Arya nodded, waving goodbye to everyone. “Alright, bye everyone, see you later.”

As she left, Karan stared after her from the stairs, his face still unreadable.

Sonia’s voice was laced with malice. “What’s so special about her, anyway? I pray her blind date gets ruined.”

Kiara nodded in agreement. “She’s not worth the love.”

Maya appeared from behind, her face disapproving. “Stop wishing someone evil and focus more on finding a perfect match for yourself.”

She walked away, leaving Sonia and Kiara staring hard at her, their faces still twisted in anger.

Arya arrived at the five-star restaurant, her eyes widening in awe at the beautifully decorated building. She walked in, and the cool air conditioner and air freshener greeted her, making her smile warmly.

As she made her way to the VIP section, she noticed a man seated with his back against her. She wondered if that was her date. As she got closer, she saw the man’s legs crossed, sipping from his drink, with a champagne bottle already on the decorated table. He was dressed impeccably, his hair neatly trimmed.

Arya sighed and decided to speak up.

“Um, excuse me,” she said politely.

The man quickly turned around, his eyes locking onto hers. He stood up, his face surprised.

“Arya?” Rohan called out, his eyes wide with recognition.

Arya’s eyes scanned his face, trying to place him. “Um, are you my blind date?” she asked, her brow furrowed.

He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “I guess,” he said, quickly moving to draw out a chair for her.

Arya sat down, her expression still puzzled. “Thank you,” she said.

“You’re welcome. It’s such a pleasure to meet you. I didn’t know you were my blind date. It’s a miracle,” he said, his eyes shining with excitement.

“Have we met before? You kind of look familiar,” she said. confusedly.

“Um, yes. My name is Rohan Singh. I’m Karan’s friend. We came to your father’s house when Karan came to plead to take you home,” he explained.

“Oh, I thought as much,” she said, her voice flat.

“Hope you’re not sad about this?” he asked.

“Um, no, not at all. It’s just a surprise that my blind date happened to be one of Karan’s friends,” she said. Her smile forced.

“But it doesn’t matter. I’m sorry it turned out the way you weren’t expecting it,” he said, his eyes filled with sincerity.

Arya’s smile faltered for a moment before she regained her composure.

“No, you don’t have to apologize. It’s okay,” she said, her voice strained.

“Okay, if you say so. What can I offer you?” he asked, calling out a waiter.

As they ordered their food, Arya’s expression remained polite, but her eyes betrayed a hint of disappointment and unease.

Rohan noticed Arya’s unease as they began to eat, her eyes darting around the restaurant, her smile forced. He decided to break the ice and throw up a conversation.

“So, how have you been?” he asked, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

Arya’s response was brief, her voice barely above a whisper. “Fine.”

Rohan’s expression turned encouraging, and he continued to ask her questions, drawing her out of her shell. At first, Arya’s responses were hesitant, but as Rohan’s warm smile and easy laughter put her at ease, she began to open up.

Their conversation started to flow rapidly, and they found themselves laughing and joking together like old friends. Arya’s eyes sparkled with amusement, and her smile turned genuine.

Rohan’s face lit up with delight as he discovered they shared a love for adventure and good food. “You’re a foodie?” he exclaimed, his eyes wide with excitement.

Arya nodded, her laughter ringing out. “Guilty as charged.”

As they chatted, the waiter came to clear their plates, but they barely noticed, too engrossed in each other’s company. They continued to talk and laugh, sipping their drinks and enjoying each other’s presence.

Arya felt a sense of relief wash over her, surprised by how comfortable she was in Rohan’s presence. It was their first date, but it felt like they’d known each other for years.

Rohan’s face turned thoughtful as he listened to Arya, his eyes never leaving hers. He was captivated by her intelligence, her wit, and her beauty.

As the evening wore on, they found themselves lost in conversation, the world around them fading into the background.

An hour later, Rohan pulled up outside Arya’s gate and parked. He quickly got out and rushed to open the door for her.

“Thank you,” she said, smiling up at him as she stepped out of the car.

They stood facing each other, the evening air filled with a sense of possibility.

“Thank you for today, I had fun,” Rohan said, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

     “Me too.” Her smile deepened.

“It’s such a shame it has to end soon, but I hope we can do this again sometime?”

“Maybe,” she said, her cheeks flushed pink.

“I’ll be the happiest if it happens again,” he joked, and they both laughed.

“Alright, good night,” Rohan said, his eyes lingering on hers.

“Good night,” Arya replied, turning to leave.

But Rohan called out to her. “Arya!”

She turned back to him, a questioning look on her face.

Rohan hurried to the other side of the car, opened the door, and pulled out a bunch of red roses. He walked back to her, a romantic smile on his face.

“This is for you,” he said, holding out the flowers.

Arya’s eyes widened in surprise, and she hesitated for a moment, her emotions in turmoil. No one had ever given her red roses before.

“Thank you,” she said finally, trying to hide her emotions as she took the roses from him.

“You’re welcome. Have a nice rest,” he said, waving at her.

She smiled up at him again, feeling a sense of wonder and excitement. She turned and walked inside, the roses clutched tightly in her hand.

Rohan watched her go, a faintly happy smile on his face. He got into his car, feeling elated, and drove off into the night.

Arya entered the room with a faint smile on her face, the red roses still clutched in her hand. Everyone turned to her direction, including Karan and Samara, their faces filled with curiosity.

“Hey, Arya!” Maya called excitedly, rushing to her side. “You’re back! How did it go?”

    “Um…”

“Maya, let her sit down first,” Roshni suggested, smiling.

Maya led Arya to sit down next to Grandma Viti and Roshni, while Karan and the rest sat on the other side of the couch, watching them with interest.

Ved’s eyes landed on the roses in Arya’s hand. “Did your blind date give you those flowers? They’re beautiful.”

“He must be a generous man.” Zara said.

“Come on, dear, how did it go?” Grandma Viti asked.

     “It was great, Grandma.”

“So, do you like him?”Jash asked,

Arya’s cheeks flushed pink, and she looked down, her voice barely above a whisper. “He’s a nice person.”

Maya squealed with excitement. “Aww! This means you two will meet again.”

Arya’s blush deepened, and she replied, “I guess so.”

“I’m happy it ended well. You should go in and freshen up.”Grandma Viti smiled, satisfied.

Arya stood up, smiling at the roses in her hands, and walked away, leaving the room filled with chatter and speculation.

Karan’s eyes followed Arya, his face unreadable. Samara noticed the way he was looking at her and frowned.

“I’m so happy for the date. I can’t wait to see the young man.”Roshni’s voice cut through the chatter.

Karan suddenly stood up, his face tense. “Excuse me, everyone.”

He left the room, heading for his own, leaving the others to wonder what was wrong.
