Hades was chasing Morgan, his face and body smeared with Bryan’s blood, his eyes glowing with a fury that didn’t look human.

Every step he took echoed like thunder down the hallway, and the metallic scent of blood trailed after him.

Morgan ran as fast as her trembling legs could carry her, breath breaking into sharp sobs. Her heart pounded so hard it hurt. She turned a corner only to hit a dead end.

    Her eyes widened in horror.

“No!! No!! No!!” she cried, stumbling backward until her spine hit the wall. “Please… I’m begging you, spare me!”

Hades appeared from the shadows, slow, deliberate, terrifyingly calm. Blood streaked down his jaw and dripped from his fingers. His eyes were cold, black, unblinking locked onto her like a predator cornering its prey.

“Spare you?” His voice was low, dangerous. “That’s funny. Did you spare her when you whipped her back till she bled?”

    “I….I didn’t mean—” Morgan’s voice broke, shaking violently. “I just lost control…”

“Lost control?” Hades took a step closer. She pressed herself harder into the wall.

“You enjoyed it, didn’t you? Watching her cry, hearing her beg for mercy… you liked it.”

    “N-No…please….I was angry—”

“Good.” His tone dropped even lower, colder. “Because now you’ll know exactly what that feels like.”

Before she could react, Hades grabbed her by the throat and slammed her against the wall.

She gasped, clawing at his hand, eyes widening in panic as she struggled to breathe.

“H-Hades…please…” she croaked out, tears spilling down her cheeks.

“You think ‘please’ works on me?” he hissed, his grip tightening. “You hurt what’s mine. You laid your filthy hands on her.”

He lifted her higher, her feet barely touching the floor, her face turning red as she gasped for air.

“I warned you,” Hades said, voice laced with venom. “You thought I was joking. You thought I wouldn’t find out? You thought I’d overlook it like every other time you bullied her?.”

“I’m…so…sorry…. please spare me..” Morgan shook her head, barely able to speak.

“Spare you? I will spare you… only if you give me one reason….just one reason why you laid your f+king hands on her.” Hades’ voice was low, coiled so tight it sounded like a threat you could cut your palm on.

    “I… I just…” Morgan’s reply was breathless, useless.

Her words dissolved the instant they left her mouth.

“You enjoy watching her suffer, huh?” Hades’ lips hardly moved.

Pain flared across Morgan’s face the moment his grip tightened. Her eyes bulged; the world narrowed to the press of fingers and the throb in her temples.

Air left her like a kicked bucket. Her hands scrambled, claws at Hades’ forearm, but his hold didn’t loosen, if anything, he steadied his hand, as if testing how much she could take.

“I always keep my promises,” he said, close enough that the rasp of his breath caressed her ear.

Morgan’s face went from flushed to puce, then to a scared white. Panic seized her throat; every inhale was a ragged fight.

“Please… please—I’ll do anything—” she choked, the plea shredded by the hold.

Hades’ thumb pressed a fraction harder. For a heartbeat she thought she was going to black out.

Her knees gave way; she slid down the wall in a cascade of trembling limbs until she was on the floor, hands scrabbling at his arm, pressing uselessly against the iron that held her.

“I’m going to end your miserable life today… Morgan.” The threat was a hushed promise, dead calm and certain.

Her knees hit the tiles with a soft, defeated sound. Tears spilled over, unbidden, hot tracks cutting through mascara.

Her hands clawed at Hades’ sleeve, fingers slipping on the damp fabric.

“Please… I’m… so… sorry.” The apology stuttered from her lips, raw and small.

Hades stood frozen, his chest heaving with ragged breaths. The sight of the blood and marks on Bluey’s back, those ugly red welts that screamed of cruelty on her white skin hit him hard.

Something inside him cracked, quietly and completely. Rage was no longer a flame; it was an inferno that burned through his veins, eating away at reason.

He wanted to make Morgan feel every ounce of pain Bluey had endured. He wanted her to beg, to understand what fear truly meant. But then—

Tiny arms slipped around his waist from behind.

“Hades…” Bluey’s voice was soft, trembling, weak.

But it reached him in places no one else could.

His grip faltered, fingers twitching against Morgan’s throat. That one fragile word from her undid the violence in him.

“Let her go… for my sake… please,” she whispered, voice breaking between her sobs.

For a moment, Hades stood perfectly still. The monster in him wanted to ignore her plea, to finish what he started.

But the man….the man who loved her felt his insides melt under the weight of her touch.

Her voice carried warmth through the blood and chaos. Her tears were his undoing.

His hand loosened. Morgan dropped to the floor, coughing and gasping for air. Hades didn’t even glance at her.

He turned toward Bluey, and the fury that had darkened his eyes moments ago dimmed into something softer, aching.

He pulled Bluey close and positioned her in front of Morgan.

“Apologize to her,” he ordered, voice low but firm.

Morgan’s head snapped up, face red and trembling. “You want… me… to apologize… to her?”

Hades tilted his head, eyes dark. “Should I kill you instead?”

That was enough. Morgan’s resolve broke. Her lips quivered as she bowed her head. “I’m sorry… Bluey.”

Bluey nodded faintly, her body weak, and then wrapped her arms around Hades again.

     “I’m tired,” she pouted.

“I know you are,” Hades murmured, his tone soft now, nothing like the deadly calm from before.

He lifted her carefully into his arms, his touch protective, gentle, despite the blood still drying on his skin.

    “Let’s get you cleaned up.”

He walked away with her pressed against his chest, her head resting near his heartbeat.

Behind them, Morgan lay flat on the cold floor, tears pooling beneath her. The ache in her chest spread until it felt unbearable.

“I should’ve let him kill me,” she sobbed. “My life has no use anymore.”

Her voice broke as she whispered into the empty space.

“My mom’s a liar and a slut, my dad isn’t my real father, and the guy I love… can’t be mine anymore… It hurts so much. So, so much.”

Hades pushed the door open to his suite, the lights dim and the room silent except for the soft hum of the air conditioner.

The scent of blood and smoke clung to him, but all he could think about was the small, trembling figure in his arms.

He shut the door quietly behind them, walking straight toward the bathroom.

Bluey’s head rested against his chest, her breathing shallow, her skin pale beneath the faint glow of the room’s lamps.

When he set her down on the counter, she winced, her body stiff with pain. His jaw clenched as he caught sight of the bruises along her back again, dark, raw, and cruel.

His hand hovered for a second before brushing her hair away from her face.

“You shouldn’t have stopped me,” he said quietly, his voice strained, torn between anger and concern.

Bluey gave a weak, tired smile. “If I didn’t, I would’ve regretted it, you already killed Bryan…it was scary.”

    He didn’t answer.

Instead, he turned on the bathtub faucet, letting warm water pour in, the sound filling the heavy silence.

He reached for a bottle of bath salts and poured some in, his movements careful, deliberate. Steam began to rise, and the faint scent of lavender filled the air.

When he turned back to her, she was still sitting there, her hands gripping the counter weakly. He approached her slowly.

    “Let me,” he murmured.

Her cheeks flushed faintly as his fingers moved to the hem of her torn shirt. She didn’t stop him, she just nodded, her trust in him absolute.

He peeled the blood-stained fabric away, revealing the angry red marks that made his heart twist all over again. His throat tightened, and for a moment, he had to close his eyes to steady himself.

“You shouldn’t have to endure this,” he whispered under his breath.

Once she was undressed, he scooped her up again, cradling her carefully like something fragile.

He lowered her into the warm bath, and she exhaled shakily as the water met her skin.

    “Too hot?” he asked softly.

Bluey shook her head. “It feels… nice.”

He knelt beside the tub, sleeves rolled up, and reached for a soft towel. His movements were gentle as he cleaned the dried blood from her arms and shoulders.

Every stroke was tender, almost reverent—like he was afraid she’d break.

“Does it hurt?” he asked quietly.

“No,” she whispered back, her voice trembling but sincere.

    **

When the bath was done, Hades reached for a towel and carefully lifted Bluey from the water. Droplets slid down her skin as he held her close, the warmth of her body pressing against his bare chest.

His shirt was long gone, tossed aside after it got soaked in blood and the heat of his skin against hers made her shiver.

He set her down gently on the edge of the bed, wrapping the towel around her shoulders.

His movements were quiet, almost too gentle for someone with hands that had spilled blood not long ago.

He dried her arms and legs slowly, careful not to touch the bruises. When he was done, he reached for the black shirt he had placed on the bed a loose one that would hang softly on her small frame.

    “Here,” he said quietly.

Bluey nodded and slipped her arms into it. The fabric swallowed her whole, but the scent of him, lavender, made her feel safe.

Hades turned to his closet again and opened the first-aid box. He brought it to the bed and sat beside her, flipping the lid open.

The sound of antiseptic bottles and gauze rustling filled the silence.

    “This might sting,” he warned.

She didn’t answer, just watched him. His face was tense as he dipped a cotton pad in antiseptic and began cleaning the gash on her shoulder.

The moment the liquid touched her skin, she hissed softly, clutching the sheets.

“Sorry,” he murmured, steadying her with his other hand.

His thumb brushed against her wrist, a small, grounding gesture.

    “It’s okay,” she whispered.

He worked quietly after that, cleaning every wound with precision, bandaging the deeper cuts. His brows furrowed each time she winced.

It hurt him more than he’d admit to see her flinch from pain, even from his touch meant to heal.

When Hades was done, he set the box down quietly and moved back toward her, lowering himself to kneel between her legs on the bed.

She instinctively tried to close her legs, and he noticed.

    “What’s wrong?” Hades asked softly.

“Um… I… don’t have any panties on,” Bluey admitted, her cheeks coloring slightly.

“So?” Hades replied, his voice calm and reassuring.

“So… um… isn’t this a little weird? Awkward?” Bluey’s voice wavered with uncertainty.

“Awkward?” Hades echoed, then smiled gently. Her breath caught as she looked down, noticing his hand resting lightly on her thigh.

“Hades…” she murmured, a mix of nervousness and trust in her tone.

“I just bath you and bow you’re feeling awkward?”He asked and she but her lips.

“I’ve seen you like this more times than I can count, and all I’ve done is kiss you,” he whispered closely, “…that’s real self-control.”

Hades leaned in closer, his voice low and teasing. “Are you wet?”

    “Wet…?” Bluey blinked in surprise.

“Yes,” Hades said, his hand slowly sliding up her thigh, deliberate and confident. “Tell me if you are.”

     “Um… no, I’m not.”Bluey hesitated.

“Really?” His lips curved into a knowing smile.

Her breath hitched softly as his fingers brushed against her cunt.

“Oh my… Hades,” she m0@ned, the sound barely a whisper.

He pulled his hand away, revealing it glistening with her arousal.

    “You’re not wet, huh?”

“I… um…” Bluey bit her lip, unable to deny the truth.

    He chuckled.

    “Master…”She called.

    “Hmmm.”

Bluey’s cheeks flushed deeper as she met Hades’ gaze shyly.

“I… I want more,” she admitted softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hades raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in his eyes. “More what?”

She hesitated, then looked down, fiddling with the edge of the sheet.

“Um… for you to… stick your fingers in….there”

A slow, satisfied smile spread across his face. He leaned closer, his breath warm against her skin.

Hades gently helped her to stand, his palm sliding up her thighs until it cupped her wetness. Bluey exhaled softly, the warmth of his touch sending a shiver through her.

He leaned close, his breath warm against her ear as he pressed his palm against her slick, sensitive opening.

“Mm… it… it feels good,” Bluey whispered mischievously, wrapping her arms around him and moving her body, urging him to deepen his touch.

“Stop being so n+ghty, Mi Ruina,” he growled low and husky right into her ear.

She bit her lip tightly, then cried out softly, “Master…”

The waves of pleasure overwhelmed her as he slowly withdrew, a confident smirk curling on his lips.

“I didn’t even do anything and you’re already close to having an orgasm? You’re such a bad girl.”He whispered.

“Get your stuffs from your room, you’ll be staying here.” He said and turned, then strolled back toward the bathroom, leaving Bluey trembling.

Suddenly, she felt a warm liquid trickle down her leg. Her eyes widened as she looked down in surprise.

“Oh my goodness,” she gasped, her heart pounding.

Corazon stepped out of the bathroom, her damp hair brushing her shoulders, and walked into the bedroom.

Anthony was already on the bed, lounging casually, a glass of whiskey in his hand. The room smelled faintly of her perfume and the faint steam from her bath lingered in the air.

Since their relationship wasn’t a secret anymore, it felt natural for her to stay here, unbothered by the closeness or the familiarity between them.

She moved toward the dresser to grab her robe, wrapping it loosely around her.

“How did your husband even find out?” Anthony asked, raising an eyebrow as he took a sip from his glass.

“He probably had me investigated,” Corazon said, her tone calm, almost detached.

Anthony set his glass down, a flicker of concern crossing his face. “But he’s probably going to cut off his investments in the campaign.”

“Also… does he know Morgan is my daughter?”Anthony’s eyes narrowed slightly.

    Corazon gave a faint shrug.

“No,” she said firmly. “As long as he still believes Morgan is his, we still have access to his money.”

Anthony leaned back on the bed, exhaling slowly. “Smart. We just have to keep it that way, then. For now.”

“Trevor already knows that he’s Morgan’s brother,” Anthony said softly. “I feel so bad for him and Morgan. I wish I knew they were in a relationship… I would’ve stopped them earlier.”

Corazon looked at him, tension in his jaw, but she waved it off lightly. “It’s no big deal. They’ll both get over it and move on.”

She paused, letting her gaze soften as she approached the bed.

“Don’t worry about all that. What’s important is that we’re together,” she murmured, climbing onto the bed beside him.

Anthony shifted slightly, pulling her close as she rested against him.

The warmth of the bed, the faint scent of her hair, the quiet closeness, they both let themselves breathe, even if just for a moment.

Corazon’s hand brushed against his chest, and she smiled faintly.

“Nothing else matters right now,” she whispered.

Anthony chuckled softly, running a hand through her damp hair. “I love you Corazon.”

“I love you too, Anthony.” She smiled.

They stayed like that for a moment, wrapped in each other, plotting their next moves silently while finding a rare sliver of peace in each other’s presence.

Iris was running on the treadmill, keeping herself in shape, when Marco entered. She immediately stopped and turned to face him.

“What the—” she started, her voice sharp.

“It’s good to see the First Lady here… you look so irresistible,” Marco said, flashing his usual smirk.

    Iris’s eyes blazed.

“You’ve got some nerve to shoot my son!” she yelled, her voice echoing across the gym. “How dare you hurt him..”

Marco’s smirk faltered slightly, replaced by a sneer.

“Anytime I see Hades,” he spat, “….it disgusts me. He’s proof Iris, proof of your love for Robert. It should have been me. It should have been my son.”

Iris clenched her fists, her anger radiating. “You are a sick, twisted man, Marco. No matter what you think, I will always choose Robert. Always.”

Marco stepped closer, undeterred by her fury.

“You know, Iris… you could still have me. I could give you what Robert never could,” he said, his hand brushing dangerously close to her arm.

Iris recoiled, glaring daggers at him.

“Do not touch me!” she snapped. “You’ll never ever be with me. Not now, not ever.”

He leaned in slightly, smirking. “Oh, come on… you know you want this. I’ve waited a long time.”

    Iris’s patience snapped.

“I don’t want you, Marco! You disgust me. You think because you shot Hades, you can intimidate me, but you’re nothing. You’re a coward and a fool. I will never be with a monster like you!”

Marco froze for a moment, his smirk faltering, but then his ego took over.

“We’ll see,” he muttered, though Iris had already turned back to her treadmill, ignoring him completely, leaving him fuming in silence.

    ★ 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞★

Trevor’s suite was quiet, heavy with the weight of unspoken pain. Morgan stood by his closet, tears streaking her cheeks as she packed her things, one trembling hand at a time.

Each item she folded or tucked away felt like another thread being ripped from her heart.

Trevor stood behind her, watching silently. His own eyes were red, shoulders slumped, and his chest heaving.

He couldn’t stop the lump in his throat from growing, the raw ache of seeing her like this.

Finally, he stepped forward and wrapped his arms around her from behind. Morgan stiffened for a second, then slowly melted into him.

She turned and her hands reached back, clutching his as tightly as she could manage, as if holding on to something real in a world that suddenly made no sense.

“Let’s pretend we don’t know the truth,” Trevor whispered into her ear, his voice rough with emotion, nearly breaking. “Let’s pretend none of this ever happened, even if just for tonight.”

Morgan shook her head, her sobs muffled against his chest.

     “But we can’t, Trevor… it’s real. Everything’s real… the truth… your father… me…”

Trevor tightened his hold, pressing his forehead to the side of hers.

“I don’t care. I don’t care about the truth right now. I just want to feel you here, just like this. Can’t we hold onto that, even for a little while?”

Morgan’s tears soaked through his shirt as she pulled back slightly, shaking her head, tears still streaming down her face.

     “Trevor… it’s wrong. We… we can’t…”

“I don’t care,” he interrupted firmly, his voice low but unyielding. His hands tightened around her, holding her close.

“Four years, Morgan… four years we’ve loved each other. Are you seriously asking me to just throw that away?”

She looked into his eyes, searching for something, hope, reason, anything that could make this make sense. Her voice trembled.

     “But… the truth… our blood…”

Trevor shook his head, brushing a stray tear from her cheek.

“I don’t care. None of that matters. You’re mine, Morgan. Nothing…nothing will ever change that.”

He leaned in slowly, his forehead resting against hers. Her breath hitched as his lips found hers.

For a moment, she froze, torn between shock and the flood of feelings she had been holding back for so long.

Then, instinctively, she kissed him back, pouring every ounce of her love, fear, and desperation into it.

It was fierce, desperate, the kind of kiss that said more than words ever could.

He deepened the kiss, and she clung to him, as if letting go would mean losing everything they had ever shared. “You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng” Their hearts pounded in sync, as his hand reached for her zipper and he pulled it down, letting her dress slip from her body.

He broke the kiss and looked at her, and she had the same look of fire in her eyes. He held her as they moved closer to the bed and they both fell on it.

“I love you Morgan. I love you so damn much.”He mumbled taking off his shirt.

     ★𝐇𝐮𝐠𝐨’𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞★

Hugo and Dawn in his dorm after training.

He was sitting on his bed as Dawn came out after taking a shower.

He looked at her, wearing his shirt, and water dripping.

“Can you stop looking at me like that?” Dawn muttered.

“I can’t,” Hugo replied, his gaze holding hers.

    She scoffed.

“I’m going to my dorm room,” she said, heading to the door.

He grabbed her wrist, pulling her to sit on his thigh.

“What are you doing?” she asked, eyes narrowing.

“Where are you going? You didn’t think I’d let you leave, right?” Hugo’s tone was firm, but not harsh.

Dawn tried to pull her wrist back. “Hugo, let go. Seriously.”

He shook his head. “Not a chance. You walked out on me before, but not this time..”

She frowned, cheeks warming despite herself. “You’re impossible.”

“Maybe,” he said, smirking slightly. “But you’re still here, aren’t you? That has to mean something.”

Dawn glared at him, trying to resist.

Hugo leaned back, still holding her just enough so she couldn’t move away.

Dawn turned swiftly, settling onto Hugo’s lap with deliberate confidence. Her legs straddled his thigh as they sat on the bed, her eyes locked onto his.

Hugo’s hands found the curve of her hips, steadying her while she wrapped her arms around his neck.

“I know you, Hugo,” she said, voice low but teasing. “You can hardly stay without—well, you. Three days celibate? That’s impressive.”

Hugo’s breath hitched, lips close enough to hers to feel the heat between them. “I’m just trying my best to prove to someone that I’m serious about her.”

Dawn’s finger pressed gently against his lips, silencing him before he could close the distance. “You don’t get to kiss me whenever you like. From now on, I call the shots.”

A slow smirk curved on her lips as she began grinding herself against him, the movement deliberate, teasing. Hugo’s eyes widened as he realized her skin was bare against him, no barrier between her and his growing desire.

“Dawn…” he breathed, a mix of disbelief and hunger in his voice.

She bit her lip, eyes sparkling with challenge. “Mm.”

“It’s driving me crazy,” he confessed, fingers tightening slightly, “I want you. Damn these shorts I’m wearing.”

She chuckled softly, her movement more deliberate now. “You don’t think I’ll just let you have me, do you?”

“If I have to, I’ll beg,” he said, voice thick with need.

He leaned in to capture her lips, but she pulled away just before the kiss could land, smiling mischievously each time.

The frustration in his eyes only deepened her grin as the dance of desire and control played between them.

Dawn’s hands moved confidently to Hugo’s chest, feeling the rapid beat of his heart beneath her touch. She could sense him growing more undone by the moment, every breath she took fueling his desire.

Her touch was both a tease and a challenge, and she watched as his breath hitched, his body responding unavoidably.

“Please, Dawn…” Hugo’s voice cracked with desperation, tears gleaming in his eyes. “Please, baby… just five minutes. I’ll…. I’ll go crazy if I don’t cum right now. I swear I’ll be quick.”

She smirked, a quiet power in her movements as she slowly slid down from his lap. His gaze followed her, wide and undeniable as his dick pressed against his shorts like it would rip off.

Leaning close enough to whisper in his ear, she let the moment hang for a while.

“I’m not in the mood, and if you dare fuck another girl, you’re done for.”She said, then without another word, she stood and walked out of the room.

“Dawn…” Hugo’s voice cracked again, choked with tears, reaching out through the doorway as tears began to fall.

“F+k! harder! Yessss!”Juniper screamed as Gomez rammed into her arse from behind.

Gomez grasped her hair roughly matching her fervor with his own. Yet even in this heated embrace, his thoughts drifted to Hyce.

His touch, his warmth, the sounds he made when he kissed him and it stirred something deep within him.

All he could think of was gucking Hyce, squeezing his n+pples, spanking his ass and hearing him m0@n. He wants to feels it, how warm his insides would be, his sweet mouth on his c+k as he shoots his seed down his throat.

“Hyce…f+k.”Gomez moaned as he reached his orgasm, strangling Juniper’s neck from behind.

     Juniper pushed him off.

Gomez glared at Juniper, his hands shaking with rage.

“Why are you thinking about him when we’re… together?” Juniper snapped, her voice sharp. “Hyce isn’t better than me!”

Gomez’s jaw tightened, his face red with anger. “Don’t tell me what he is or isn’t! You don’t get it!”

Juniper took a step back, her hands trembling.

“You’re acting like a fool. If you want him in your head, fine but don’t expect me to stay here and take it! My pussy is better than his arse with ever be.”

In a sudden flash of anger, Gomez slapped her. She gasped, hand to her cheek, eyes wide with shock.

“You need to leave,” he growled.

Juniper didn’t need to be told twice. She grabbed her clothes and stormed out, slamming the door behind her.

Gomez sank onto the edge of the bed, running a hand through his hair, furious and frustrated, his mind a whirlwind of guilt, obsession, and jealousy.

He took his phone and checked his home screen wallpaper, one he took of Hyce n+ked on his bed when they were still dating. In the picture, Hyce’s dick was hard since it was a morning hard on.

“F+k!!” His hand ruffled his hair.

“So you’re seriously moving into his suite?” Nia asked in shock.

“Yeah, he told me he wanted to keep a close eye on me,” Bluey said, packing the rest of her stuff.

“And you just agreed?” Nia asked, disbelief heavy in her voice.

“Is….there a problem?” Bluey asked, her brow furrowed in confusion.

“Of course not, I’m just saying that, it’s been just one day, Bluey. He announced you as his girl before everyone…that’s cute. But then asking you to move into his suite? It screams controlling!!” Nia’s tone rose slightly, a mix of worry and exasperation.

“Controlling? He’s just looking out for me,” Bluey replied, shrugging lightly.

“Aren’t you scared of him? Bro killed Bryan with his bare hands,” Nia added, glancing at Bluey with wide eyes.

“Babe, why are you trying to scare Bluey?” Loci intervened, a teasing tone in his voice.

“I’m not scaring her, I’m just….well…I don’t know,” Nia admitted, sighing.

“Speaking of Bryan, I’ve been investigating the history of MIA for a while now,” Natalie interjected, her voice serious.

“History of MIA? Why’s that?” Nia asked, curiosity piqued.

“Before we all got into this school, we never knew what it was about. I believe that each and every one of us thought it was just like every normal high school, but the truth is, none of us knew what it was before coming here, and neither did our parents actually tell us,” Natalie explained, her tone measured and thoughtful.

“So what are you trying to imply?” Zayne asked, leaning forward.

“What I’m saying is that MIA seems more than just a school. It feels like a place that, once you’re in, you can never get out,” Natalie said, her eyes scanning the group, making each of them feel the weight of her words.

Bluey paused, glancing down at the items in her hands, feeling a chill creep up her spine.

“But you can get expelled and leave, right?” Bluey asked, her voice hesitant.

“Seems like expulsion is just a front,” Natalie said, her tone serious. “If you get expelled, you’ll still die, because only one person has ever been expelled in MIA.”

“One person? Oh, you mean that Jocelyn girl?” Loci asked, raising an eyebrow.

    “Yeah,” Natalie confirmed.

“Who’s Jocelyn? How come you guys know all this and I didn’t?” Nia frowned.

“You weren’t enrolled in MIA yet,” Loci reminded her.

“So Jocelyn… she was a student here,” Natalie continued. “She was brilliant—so smart, she rose from a beginner to a jack in just a week, and in two months, she was already a knight. The problem was, she got too cocky and wanted more. She challenged an Ace to a duel… and she lost.”

“And? If you lose Sigils, it’s closer to going below Zero. It’s totally normal,” Bluey said, trying to sound unconcerned.

“She still had points, but was highly down after she had an affair with an Ace. She was humiliated badly in public by him and it bruised her ego. Later on, she was called in by Miss Dora once, and after that, things got… stranger. It wasn’t just shame anymore. She stopped participating, spent plenty of time in the penalty zone, eventually lost all her Sigils… and was expelled,” Natalie said, her eyes darkening with the weight of the story.

“So… what happened then?” Bluey asked, her curiosity mingled with unease.

“During the holiday back then, I wanted to visit her and see how she was doing since we were pretty close, but I found nothing. Their house and property were sold, and they disappeared without a trace, both she and her parents. It’s like they never existed at all,” Natalie said, her voice low.

“So… they were probably killed, right?” Nia asked, her eyes narrowing slightly.

    “Yes,” Natalie confirmed.

“Okay, all this doesn’t make sense. They must’ve moved or left the country,” Bluey said, frowning.

“Exactly. You’re putting scary thoughts in us,” Zayne muttered.

“What do you think they do with the dead bodies?” Natalie asked, leaning closer.

“Bury them,” chorused Zayne, Bluey, and Loci in unison.

“Bury? There’s no cemetery here in MIA,” Natalie said, her tone edged with disbelief.

“It might be outside the school,” Loci suggested.

“Why would they even be killing students like that? What are we… some kind of animals?” Natalie asked, her voice trembling slightly.

“So you think MIA is a front for running some kind of underground business?” Nia said quietly, her eyes flicking around the room, sharp and calculating.

“Exactly,” Natalie said, giving Nia a pointed look.

“Y’all are crazy,” Bluey muttered, shaking her head.

Nia was silent for a moment, her gaze lingering on everyone a beat too long. She tapped her fingers against her armrest, her expression unreadable.

A flicker of something….curiosity? suspicion?….passed over her eyes.

“Who was the Ace that Jocelyn had an affair with?” Nia finally asked, tilting her head.

    “Hades,” Loci said flatly.

    Bluey froze, biting her lips.

“So… I’m guessing she’s Hades’ 20th victim?” Zayne whispered, the weight of the revelation sinking in.

    Natalie nodded gravely.

From the doorway, Sergio smirked, having overheard everything. One of them glanced at the door, and there he was.

He smiled as if confirming a long-held information that’ll be of value on their side.

    “Bingo.”

Bluey’s hand trembled as it wrapped around him, feeling the thick weight she hardly knew how to handle.

Slowly, almost nervously, she brought his d+k closer to her lips, lost in the unfamiliarity of what she was doing.

She pressed a tentative kiss to the tip, then took him gently into her mouth, drawing him in with a long, deep motion.

“Jesus… f+k,” Hades groaned, his fingers tightening softly in her hair before pulling her mouth away.

“Did I do something wrong?” Bluey asked, her voice small and uncertain.

Hades’s mind was a storm. The warmth and tightness of her mouth sent waves of pleasure crashing over him without any effort on her part.

    “Go on,” he growled lowly.

Bluey resumed, more confident but still unsure. He held her hair firmly, guiding her head deeper, demanding more.

She gagged slightly as his d+k touched the back of her throat, her face flush and strained, but she sucked harder, desperate to please him.

The cigarette dropped from his fingers as he bucked his hips upwards, a raw sound escaping his lips.

Tears welled in Bluey’s eyes but she kept going.

“Yes… You can do it..”Hades said in a a cold, deep voice and he stared at Bluey’s teary face, his hands fisting her hair.

“Go deeper just a little bit more…..a little bit more…”Hades pushed her head deeper.

    “Mmm.”Bluey cried harder, choking.

    “You’re doing so…gooood. You’re such a good girl.”He groaned deeply.

Finally, he groaned loudly, pulling out his c+k as thick ropes of his c+m spilled on her face, her hair, her bare boobs and dripping to the floor.

    Bluey breathed gasping for air.

Hades’s breathing was unsteady, shallow and rapid. He couldn’t believe how fast it had happened, it was barely five minutes on the timer.

Every girl he’d been with before had never come close to this. And this was supposed to be Bluey’s first time?

She remained on the floor, her body sticky and still trembling.

Without a word, Hades crouched down and lifted her into his arms.

Bluey’s wide eyes searched his face, confused and almost vulnerable. Why was he suddenly so gentle?

There was a quiet softness in his gaze that hadn’t been there before, something almost protective.

Hades carried Bluey to the bathroom without rushing, his touch surprisingly tender despite the harsh edges he usually wore.

She clung to him, still overwhelmed and unsure what to expect next.

When they reached the bathroom, he gently placed her on the floor.

She looked up at him, searching his face for the usual coldness but it was gone, replaced by an unreadable calm.

He began filling the tub with warm water and soap, the steady sound filling the quiet room. Once the bath was ready, he stepped in and looked at her.

    “Come,” he said simply.

Bluey hesitated, then eased herself into the warm water, the soap bubbles soft against her skin. Hades reached for the washcloth, moving slowly and deliberately.

His hands were gentle as he began to wash her, careful not to rush or hurt her.

Each touch was careful, almost reverent, as if he was discovering a new side of himself through her.

He helped her lean against his chest, his arms wrapping around her protectively. Slowly, he patted her hair with a steady, soothing rhythm.

“Did I pass the test?” Bluey asked softly, her voice tentative.

    Hades’s breath hitched slightly.

“More than I expected.” His hands moved to her tummy, rubbing in slow circles as he pulled her closer, making her sit on his thigh.

She shifted uncomfortably, feeling his hardness press against her opening, growing even larger.

“I’m trying so damn hard right now, Bluey,” He confessed, his voice low and raw. “It’s so fucking frustrating to have you in my arms, naked, and not be able to fuck you.”

Bluey swallowed hard, anxiety flickering in her eyes.

    “Why… why’s that?” she whispered.

He looked down at her with surprising tenderness. “Because I don’t want to hurt you but at the same time I will. Besides, didn’t I tell you that you’d be the one to beg me for it?”

He tightened his embrace, hands gripping her waist firmly yet protectively.

“It’s been torture, Bluey,” Hades admitted, his voice rough with restraint.

“Every second I stayed away was a battle because the closer I got, the harder it was to control myself.”

Bluey’s eyes filled with a mixture of pain and confusion. “You watched them bully me. I wanted you to step in, to help me. But you didn’t.”

    Hades’s jaw clenched.

“I stayed away because I respected your decision. If I’d come closer, I wouldn’t have been able to hold back. I would’ve destroyed everything trying to protect you, and maybe hurt you in the process. So instead, I acted cold, distant.”

He drew her in tighter, voice dropping to a low growl. “But now? Now I’m never letting you go again, not in this life.”

Bluey’s breath hitched, memories of his warning echoing in her mind. “But you told me that….you loving me will hurt me, Why is that ? I’m nervous already.”She bit her lips.

Hades’s eyes darkened, shadows flickering behind them like a storm.

“Because, Bluey… I’m already lost. I’m broken in ways even I don’t fully understand. But you…you cracked that darkness open. I love you. In this twisted, dangerous way that consumes me every day. And no matter how much I warned you, I won’t let that fear stop me from claiming you.”

“Want to eat anything?” He asked.

“I already had dinner, I’m quite full. ”Bluey said.

“Okay.” He said, hugging her closer.

“Let’s stay like this for a little while, please. ” She pleaded.

    He nodded and she smiled.

    —–

Morgan’s eyes were red, her lashes still wet from hours of silent crying. She’d barely made it through the school gates, hoping to slip into her suite unnoticed, when Trevor’s voice cut through the hallway.

    “Morgan?”

Her heart seized. She froze mid-step, her hand tightening on the strap of her bag before she slowly turned.

Trevor was standing there, worry etched across his face.

“Where did you go? I’ve been calling you for hours.”

“I—” Her voice cracked, “I went home.”

“Have you been crying. What’s wrong?” He frowned, taking a step closer.

“Nothing,” she muttered quickly, brushing past him, her face turned away so he wouldn’t see the trembling of her lips. “I’m fine.”

He caught her wrist before she could escape. “Morgan, talk to me.”

    “Trevor, let go.”

But he didn’t. Instead, his grip tightened—not in anger, but desperation. “Not until you tell me what’s going on. You look like you’ve been through hell.”

Her throat closed up. Tears pricked her eyes again, threatening to fall. “Please, Trevor. Not now.”

“Then when?” he snapped, pulling her toward him. “You disappear for hours, you come back like this, and you expect me to just let you walk away?”

She shook her head, struggling weakly. “Trevor, please….”

“Morgan,” he said, turning her to face him, his voice lower now, gentler. “Look at me.”

She kept her eyes on the floor, silent tears spilling down her cheeks.

When she finally looked up, there was nothing but anguish in her gaze.

    ***

Trevor held her hand and led her quietly into his suite, shutting the door behind them. The sound of the lock clicked faintly before he turned to face her, his eyes searching her tear-streaked face.

“What’s wrong? What’s going on, babe?” he asked, stepping closer, his voice soft but strained with worry. “You know you can tell me anything.”

He reached out, tilting her chin gently, trying to make her meet his eyes.

But Morgan flinched, taking his hand off her face and stepping back. Her lips trembled as another tear slipped down.

“Morgan…” Trevor’s chest tightened. “C’mon, talk to me. You’re making me cry right now.”

She shook her head, backing away until her back hit the wall. Her voice came out in a broken whisper. “So you really don’t know?”

     “Know what?”He frowned.

“Your dad didn’t tell you anything?”

Trevor’s brows furrowed deeper, confusion turning to impatience.

“C’mon, Morgan, stop beating around the bush and tell me what it is already.” He ran a hand through his hair, exhaling hard. “You’re scaring me right now.”

    Her sob broke the silence.

“Your dad…” she choked, her voice cracking. “Your dad is my real father, Trevor.”

He froze, his hand still halfway through his hair.

    “What?”

“My mom and your dad, they’ve been having an affair for years. He’s my real father.”

Trevor’s face went pale. His breath hitched, the words hitting him like a knife to the gut.

“We’re siblings, Trevor. Half-siblings.” Morgan’s tears fell harder.

For a moment, the world seemed to stop. The air between them turned heavy, suffocating. Trevor stared at her like she’d just torn the ground out from beneath him.

Trevor’s jaw tightened, his eyes wide with disbelief. He took a step forward, shaking his head slowly as if trying to undo her words.

“No. No, that’s not true,” he said, his voice unsteady. “You’re joking, right? This is some kind of sick joke, Morgan. Tell me you’re lying.”

She shook her head weakly, tears still falling.

“I wish I was, Trevor. My mom told me everything. She said my dad couldn’t have kids. You’re Anthony’s son, and I’m…” her voice cracked, “I’m his daughter.”

“Stop!” Trevor snapped, his voice breaking as he pointed at her. “Don’t….don’t say that. Don’t even say that, Morgan.”

“I’m telling you the truth!” she cried, clutching her chest. “Why would I lie about something like this?”

He turned away, running both hands through his hair, his chest rising and falling fast. “No. My dad would never do that. He—he’s not that kind of man!”

“He is, Trevor!” she shouted through her tears. “He’s been lying to you. To all of us!”

Trevor slammed his fist against the wall.

“No, Morgan! You’re lying! You’re just—” He stopped, his voice trembling. “You’re trying to end this… to push me away? That’s what this is? Did I do something wrong?”

Morgan’s lips trembled. “I’m not trying to push you away, Trevor. I’m scared of the truth.”

He looked at her then, his eyes glassy and red.

“No… we love each other, Morgan. We….” His voice broke mid-sentence.

“We can’t love each other anymore,” she whispered.

He took a step toward her, but she stepped back, shaking her head. “Don’t, Trevor. Please. Don’t make this harder.”

And before he could say another word, she turned and ran out of his suite, her sobs echoing down the hallway.

Trevor stood there frozen, staring at the door she’d just walked through. His breathing was ragged, his fists trembling at his sides.

A single tear slid down his cheek before he sank onto the couch, staring blankly at the floor.

“She’s lying,” he whispered to himself, his voice barely audible. “She has to be lying…”

But the more he said it, the more the pain in his chest grew, until denial could no longer silence the truth that shattered everything he thought he knew.

    ★ 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠- 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬★

The sky was still a dull gray, the air damp with the last traces of dawn.

Every student stood in the wide assembly grounds, some rubbing their eyes, others shivering slightly from the morning chill.

The call had come from Hades himself and when Hades called, no one dared to ignore it.

It was barely 6:30 a.m., and half the academy looked half-awake, half-terrified.

“Gosh… Bluey, do you have any idea what Hades is up to?” Nia yawned, covering her mouth.

    “No,” Bluey said softly.

“Girl, what happened in his suite last night? You came back really late,” Natalie whispered, leaning closer.

“Nothing,” Bluey murmured, biting her lip shyly, her heart skipping at the memory.

Before they could say another word, silence spread through the crowd like a chill. Every head turned as the heavy iron gates opened.

    Hades walked in.

Clad in black from head to toe, black tee-shirt, black sweatpants,he moved with that cold, effortless authority that made every single person instinctively bow.

Even the morning breeze seemed to avoid him. His presence alone silenced the entire grounds.

He climbed the high platform without a word, his expression unreadable, eyes sharp as blades.

Bluey’s lips parted unconsciously. Even from afar, she could see the faint shadow under his eyes, the relaxed but powerful way he stood.

How can someone look this intimidating and still that good this early? she thought, pulse racing.

“You can all hear me, right?” Hades finally spoke. His voice carried easily, low and controlled, yet with a weight that made the air heavy.

“Yes!” The crowd shouted in unison.

    “Good.”

He let the silence stretch, eyes sweeping over them one by one, slow, deliberate. Some flinched under his gaze.

“The reason I called this meeting is to announce that starting today, Bluey Cruise is officially mine.” He said, voice low and razor-still.

Gasps rippled through the crowd. Heads snapped toward Bluey, who sat frozen like a small animal in the center of the grounds.

“When I say mine, I mean she’s my woman.” He paused, voice hardening.

“Now I don’t want anyone going around calling her my ‘f+k toy’ or treating her like trash because I will beat the crap out of you.”

He pointed once, deliberately. “That girl there.” Every eye swung to Bluey. “She owns my heart.”

A nervous murmur tried to rise; Hades crushed it with a look. His expression didn’t  only a cold, lethal calm.

“You all have gotten used to her being picked on,” he said, slow and flat, “…but it ends today.” His gaze cut through the rows until it rested on Bryan and Aris.

“If I see even a scratch on her body from any one of you, if a single strand of her hair is pulled loose, or if she sheds a tear because of anything you do…” His voice dropped to a tone that made the blood in the air feel colder.

“I will kill that person with my bare hands.”

The words landed like ice. Students went rigid; a few swallowed audibly. Natasha, Bryan and Aris paled.

“Am I understood?” Hades’s voice boomed, cold and final.

“Yes, sir!” Everyone chorused in unison, their voices echoing across the assembly grounds.

Then unexpectedly, he turned his head slightly, catching Bluey’s eyes in the crowd.

The corner of his mouth lifted into a slow, effortless wink before he gave her a rare, breathtaking smile.

    The entire school froze.

    Gasps broke through the silence.

    💬 “Did Hades just smile?”

💬 “Oh my god, I’ve never seen him do that before.”

💬 “Please keep making him happy, Bluey.”

The air buzzed with disbelief and excitement as Hades walked off, every step composed and commanding until he disappeared from sight.

Bluey stood there, dazed, her cheeks pink.

“Girl….your boyfriend is so damn hot and sexy, I swear!”Nia grabbed her arm.

“He’s not my boyfriend…” Bluey mumbled, trying to look away, but both girls stared at her like she’d just cursed the gods.

    “Yet,” She added quietly.

“OH MY GOD, SHE SAID YET!”Natalie and Nia screamed, jumping and hugging each other.

Zayne clenched his fists hard, jaw tightening as his eyes darkened watching the girl whom he always cared for and did everything possible for to keep her safe, now become the center of Hades’s entire world.

     ★ 𝐇𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬’ 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞★

Hades was smiling like a fool as he dropped the bottle of wine onto the table with a satisfying thud.

Hugo and Hyce exchanged silent, knowing looks as he poured the drinks—his movements uncharacteristically light, almost… happy.

“A toast,” Hades said, raising his glass, that faint but genuine smile still tugging at his lips. “To my newly found source of happiness.”

“Cheers,” Hugo and Hyce chorused, their laughter echoing through the room.

“I seriously can’t believe you did that,” Hugo said, shaking his head in disbelief. “You really announced to the entire school that she’s your woman?”

“Why not?” Hades smirked, swirling his drink lazily. “I don’t want anyone hurting her while she’s not with me. They should even try.”

“Wow, lover boy,” Hyce teased, leaning back on the couch. “I swear I missed that rare smile of yours. She really makes you happy, huh?”

“Yes,” Hades admitted softly, his voice dropping into something almost tender. “And she barely does anything. Just seeing her… that’s enough for me.”

“So to get this straight, did you go beg her, or did she come on her own?” Hugo asked, leaning forward with a mischievous grin.

Hyce snorted before Hades could even open his mouth. “Hades? Beg someone? Please, he’d rather die.”

“Stop being dramatic, Hyce,” Hades muttered, rolling his eyes but unable to hide the small smile tugging at his lips.

“I… was really scared, actually. I hurt her yesterday and thought she’d hate me after that. I was ready to stay away, but she came back. That’s enough reason for me to push forward, right?”

Hugo’s teasing grin softened. “That’s rare coming from you, man.”

Hyce raised an eyebrow, his tone turning serious. “But honestly, Hades… do you think she’s going to last long with you?”

Hades frowned. “What do you mean?”

“I mean, we all know how you are,” Hugo added carefully. “You’re really… uh, what’s the right word… difficult.”

Hades sighed, his expression tightening. “I’m planning on hiding that part of me from her. I mean, I’ll try—to be the guy she wants.”

Hyce leaned forward, his voice calm but firm.

“You think she’ll be happy if you pretend? Look, I’m not saying you shouldn’t treat her right, but don’t hide the real you. If you plan to be with her forever, she deserves to see every side of you. If she can handle it, good. If not, let her walk away.”

“Walk away?” Hades’s tone dropped, cold and certain. His eyes flicked up, glinting darkly under the light. “Never.”

Hugo and Hyce exchanged a glance. The air around them grew heavier. That familiar edge, the one that made Hades who he was….was back.

And this time, it was clear: Bluey wasn’t just some girl to him. She was an obsession he wasn’t willing to lose.

“Whatever,” Hyce said, waving a hand dismissively before grabbing his glass. “By the way, I already have a boyfriend.”

Both Hades and Hugo froze mid-sip and turned to him.

    “…You what?” Hugo blinked.

“Yeah,” Hyce said casually, smirking as if it was nothing. “Sergio is a nice guy and… he’s hot too.” He took a long drink, pretending not to notice their stunned faces.

“Hot?” Hugo echoed, raising a brow. “Right. Just like how you were fantasizing over Gomez, and then boom, you got your very first painful heartbreak.”

Hyce groaned, slamming his glass down. “That was different! Gomez was a jerk. Sergio won’t hurt me.”

“If you say so,” Hades muttered, leaning back with a faint, knowing smirk. His tone was calm but his eyes flickered with amusement, watching Hyce squirm under Hugo’s grin.

“You both suck,” Hyce hissed. “Can’t a man be in love without getting roasted?”

Hugo chuckled. “Not in this circle, buddy.”

Hades shrugged, refilling his glass. “Just don’t cry to us when he breaks your heart. I’ve got my own woman to protect.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Hyce rolled his eyes. “You’re all lovestruck now, Mr. God-of-the-School.”

“Damn right,” Hades smirked, clinking his glass against theirs. “To love… and to chaos.”

They laughed, the sound echoing through the suite, three men, three stories of love, pain, and the kind of trouble only they could attract.

Hades’ phone buzzed loudly on the table, breaking their laughter. He picked it up lazily, glancing at the caller ID.

    “Mom?” he answered, sounding half-reluctant.

“Why didn’t you tell me?!” Iris’ voice exploded from the speaker, forcing him to pull the phone away from his ear.

    “Tell you what?” Hades frowned.

“That you were shot twice?! I thought I told you to be careful!” Iris’ tone was pure fury mixed with panic.

    “I’m already fine—”

“Come home. NOW!” she yelled and hung up before he could reply.

Hades exhaled, shaking his head. “Geez… this woman.”

Hugo blinked. “Wait. You were shot?”

    Hyce’s eyes widened. “Twice?”

Hades gave them a flat look. “Do I look like someone who’s affected by it?”

They exchanged glances and both went quiet immediately. The silence was answer enough.

“Yeah, that’s what I thought,” Hades muttered, standing and adjusting his jacket. “Anyway, I’m off. See you later.”

“Greet Madam First Lady for me,” Hugo said with a grin.

    “Sure will.”

“And if she cooked,” Hyce added, wagging a finger, “don’t be stingy enough not to share!”

Hades smirked. “I’ll think about it.” He grabbed his keys and left the suite, door closing behind him.

A moment of quiet passed before Hyce leaned toward Hugo with a mischievous grin.

“I saw that embarrassing video of you chasing after a girl yesterday… Dawn, right?”

Hugo froze, narrowing his eyes. “And?”

“I would never have believed it if someone prophesied it to me,” Hyce teased, barely suppressing a laugh.

“How do you think I can win her back?” Hugo sighed, rubbing his forehead.

“I pray she doesn’t take you back,” Hyce scoffed, standing up.

“Hey….! hey! Whose side are you on? I’m your friend!” Hugo stood up after him.

“You’re a punk,” Hyce said over his shoulder, walking out.

“Who are you calling punk, huh?!” Hugo shouted, chasing after him as their voices echoed down the hallway.

     ★𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐨’𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞 ★

Sergio, Dawn, and Desiree were lounging in Sergio’s suite.

Desiree sat cross-legged on the couch, staring at Dawn like she’d just confessed a crime, while Sergio leaned against the counter, a whiskey glass dangling in his hand.

“Wait so you’re still in love with Hugo?” Desiree finally asked, her tone a mix of disbelief and judgment.

“After everything that jerk did? The way he treated you, used you, and dumped you in front of half the school?”

Dawn’s eyes lowered to her hands resting on her lap. Her voice came out soft but steady. “Yeah. I still love him.”

Sergio’s brow furrowed. “You’re serious? Dawn, the guy humiliated you.”

    “I know,” she whispered.

“But… you can’t just stop having feelings for someone you’ve given so much of yourself to. You spend time, effort, you unlock parts of you you didn’t even know existed and then suddenly you’re supposed to just stop? It doesn’t work that way.”

Desiree groaned and threw a pillow at her. “That’s literally the definition of toxic, babe!”

Dawn caught it and sighed. “Maybe it is. But despite everything Hugo did, I still love him. I hate that I do… but I can’t help it.”

Sergio crossed his arms, his voice dropping low. “So what are you gonna do if he comes crawling back? Just forgive him?”

A faint smirk tugged at her lips.

“Oh, no. If Hugo wants me back, he’s going to have to earn it. I’ll make him work for it until he realizes what it feels like to be the one begging.”

Desiree clapped her hands dramatically. “Finally, some backbone! Make him suffer, girl.”

    Sergio chuckled.

Dawn leaned back against the couch, her eyes distant but determined.

“He broke me once. If he wants me again… he’s going to have to rebuild every shattered piece himself.”

“Also…” Sergio began, setting his drink down and glancing between Dawn and Desiree with a teasing smirk. “Hyce and I…”

He paused just long enough for suspense to fill the room. Desiree’s brows shot up, and Dawn leaned forward slightly.

    “…are dating.”

“WHAT?!” Desiree shrieked, jumping up so fast her phone nearly flew off the couch. “Ahhhh! Are you kidding me right now?!”

Dawn’s mouth fell open, eyes wide. “No way. You and Hyce? Hyce Hyce?”

“The one and only.”Sergio chuckled, clearly enjoying their reactions.

    Desiree dramatically clutched her chest.

“Oh my God, I am so jealous! Do you know how many people would kill for that man’s attention? You just bagged a walking Greek god, Sergio!”

“Yeah, yeah,” Sergio said, grinning smugly. “He’s something else.”

Desiree’s eyes suddenly widened with suspicion.

“Wait… wait a minute. Have you two…” she trailed off, lowering her voice like she was about to ask a state secret, “…you know… done it?”

Sergio gave her a slow, knowing smirk. “Yeah. Last night.”

“WHAT?!” Desiree gasped again, fanning herself dramatically.

“Oh my God—I need air!” She stumbled toward the window, throwing it open and sticking her head out like she was about to faint.

“Someone call a medic, I can’t handle this level of perfection and betrayal in one day!”

“Desiree, calm down!”Dawn burst into laughter, clutching her stomach.

“I will not calm down!” Desiree pointed accusingly at Sergio. “You’re living my dream, you monster!”

“Yeah right, lost all hope when you found out Sergio was gay? Too bad for you.”Dawn laughed.

“Cheers to that, drama queen.”Sergio raised his glass, grinning.

Sergio’s laughter faded when his phone buzzed on the table. The name flashing across the screen made his expression drop instantly.

    Raul.

Desiree was still chattering with Dawn about Hyce when she noticed the sudden shift in his demeanor. “

     “Um….guys I’ll just… take this call. I’ll be right back.”He forced a small smile.

Without waiting for a reply, he slipped into his room and shut the door behind him.

He took a deep breath before answering. “Hello.”

“So, what’s the current update?”Raul’s voice came through, deep and commanding.

Sergio glanced around his room, ensuring no one was listening.

“Mission 1 accomplished. I’m already an Ace, so access should be easier from now on.”

“That’s good.” Raul’s tone was low, calculating. “What about Strix? Have you two talked about the plan yet?”

“Not really,” Sergio replied, keeping his voice even. “But I’ll text her. It’s too risky for us to be seen together. Don’t wanna raise any suspicion.”

“Understood. Keep it that way,” Raul said. “And remember, Sergio, no mistakes this time. Just inform me as soon as you all find out anything and no matter what you do, do not get caught.”

“Sure,” Sergio said curtly. “I’ll hang up now.”

He ended the call, exhaled sharply, then ran a hand through his hair. His reflection in the mirror looked colder than before, like a completely different person.

The charming smirk he wore earlier with Desiree and Dawn was gone, replaced by something darker.

“Well… well…” His lips curved into a knowing smirk. “It’s time to get to business, dear MIA.”

    ★𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫- 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲’𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞★

The door slammed open so hard it nearly came off the hinges.

“Is it true?!” Trevor’s voice roared through the office, sharp enough to cut the air in half.

Anthony jerked his head up from his paperwork, startled, but before he could even stand, Trevor was already across the room, his eyes wild, chest heaving, fists shaking at his sides.

    “Trevor, calm down—”

“Don’t tell me to calm down!” Trevor’s voice cracked like thunder as he slammed his fist on the desk, sending papers flying.

“I said is it true?! Are you having an affair with Morgan’s mother?!”

Anthony’s lips parted, but no sound came out. His hesitation was all Trevor needed.

“You sick bastard!” Trevor shouted, his rage snapping loose as he grabbed his father by the collar and punched him straight across the face.

Anthony stumbled back, crashing against the bookshelf behind him, blood spilling from the corner of his lip.

Trevor didn’t stop, he was trembling with so much fury it looked like he could break the whole room apart.

“You….you couldn’t keep it in your pants, could you?! You ruined everything! You ruined me!”

Anthony raised a hand, trying to reason, “Trevor, please listen….”

“Answer me!” Trevor barked, his voice breaking, his eyes glassy with pain. “Is it true or not?!”

Anthony finally lowered his gaze and whispered, “Yes… it’s true. I had an affair with her mother.”

For a second, Trevor just stared and then he laughed. A low, bitter, broken laugh that sounded nothing like him.

His hands went to his hair as he paced back and forth, dragging in heavy, uneven breaths.

“You’re telling me,” he said slowly, trembling from head to toe, “…..that I’ve been dating, kissing, and fucking my own sister?!”

    “Trevor-”

“Don’t you dare say my name!” Trevor’s shout echoed through the office. “You should’ve told me! You should’ve told me before any of this happened!”

Anthony took a step closer. “I’m so sorry, son. I didn’t know how to tell you. If I’d known you had feelings for Morgan, I would’ve stopped you—”

“Stop me?!” Trevor’s voice broke into a bitter laugh. “You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng” “You don’t get to say that! You don’t get to act like some father who suddenly cares now that the damage is done!”

    Anthony’s eyes glistened. “Please—”

Trevor shook his head, taking a step back. His entire body was shaking.

“Please just tell me I’m adopted,” He said softly, almost pleading, tears burning in his eyes. “Just tell me this isn’t real… please.”

But Anthony’s silence told him everything.

    Trevor’s jaw clenched.

“I love her,” he whispered, his voice cracking. “I fucking love her.”

He looked at his father one last time, tears streaking down his face, then turned and stormed out, slamming the door so hard the frame splintered.

    ****

Trevor stumbled out of the building, every step heavier than the last. The air outside felt too sharp, too cruel against his skin.

He barely saw where he was going, just walked until he reached his car, slammed the door shut, and sat there gripping the steering wheel so tightly his knuckles turned white.

For a long moment, he didn’t move. His breath came in shallow, ragged bursts.

Then it hit him, everything at once. The truth. The betrayal. The disgust twisting in his stomach.

“Why?!” He screamed, his voice echoing violently inside the car.

He slammed his fist against the dashboard, once, twice, again—until his hand throbbed in pain.

“Why the hell did it have to be her?!”

He threw his head back against the seat, eyes squeezing shut as a choked sob broke through his chest.

“I love her,” He whispered. “God you know, I love her so damn much…”

His breathing turned uneven. He hit the steering wheel again, this time with both hands, screaming from somewhere deep and broken inside.

The kind of scream that tore through the soul.

“I can’t do this,” He whispered hoarsely, shaking his head. “I can’t, she’s not my sister. She’s not. She can’t be.”

Tears streamed down his face, hot and uncontrollable, dripping onto his hands.

“She’s mine,” He muttered, voice cracking.

He leaned forward, resting his forehead against the wheel, gasping between sobs.

The car was silent except for his cries, raw, aching, desperate.

    ★𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞★ — MASTER BEDROOM

The door opened and Hades stepped in, his  mother, Iris, was sitting on the bed beside Robert, their expressions shifting instantly at the sight of him.

“Mom. Dad,” he greeted, his voice rough but steady.

“My son.” Iris shot up from the bed, running to him and wrapping her arms around his neck like she was afraid he’d vanish.

“Mom, I’m fine,” he said, trying to soothe her, his voice muffled in her shoulder.

“How the fuck am I supposed to relax?” she snapped, pulling back to look at the bandage near his ribs. “You were shot, Hades.”

Robert stood slowly, his voice deep and controlled. “Who did this?”

Hades’ jaw flexed. “Some lunatic named Marco.”

The air changed immediately. Iris froze. Robert’s expression darkened, exchanging a long, wordless glance with her.

Hades noticed. “I’m guessing you know who he is. That bastard was spilling shit about wanting you, Mom.”

Iris’s eyes widened, guilt flickering before she masked it. Robert’s tone turned grave. “Marco and I… we were best friends back in MIA.”

    Hades frowned. “Friends?”

Robert nodded, his gaze distant. “Until Iris chose me. He never forgave that. He saw it as betrayal—thought I stole her from him.”

    Hades scoffed.

    “What do you mean?”Hades asked.

Robert sighed heavily and sat back on the edge of the bed, rubbing a hand over his face as if the memories burned to recall.

“It started after Iris rejected him,” He began quietly.

“Back then, Marco wasn’t the monster you see now. He was… brilliant, ambitious, a little arrogant but loyal. When Iris told him she loved me, something in him broke.”

Robert looked up at Hades. “He blamed me for taking her away. For ruining him. The night before our wedding, he showed up with a gun, drunk out of his mind. Said if he couldn’t have her, no one would.”

“He tried to kill you?”Hades stiffened.

“He aimed at me, but Iris stood between us. She told him if he pulled that trigger, she’d never forgive him even in death. He broke down and left… we thought that was the end of it.”Robert said slowly.

“It wasn’t,” Iris said softly. “He sent letters for years, letters I never replied to. He wanted me to run away with him. Said I’d regret choosing Robert.”

“And now he’s back. He must think hurting you, Hades, is the perfect way to make me suffer.”Robert’s eyes hardened.

Hades lifts his head, eyes burning.

“If I see that bastard again,” He says slowly, voice cold as ice, “I’ll beat his sorry ass myself.”

Iris straightened, a small smile creasing her face.

“By the way, I cooked,” she announced, “There’s beef stew in the kitchen. Eat or don’t, but it’s fresh.”

Hades let out a sound that was almost a grunt, but his eyes softened the tiniest fraction.

“You cooked?” he repeated, like it was a dream come true.

He quickly hugged Iris from behind, kissing her cheeks.

    Robert practically lunged forward.

“Hey ! that’s my wife,” He said, mock-offended, snatching Iris into a quick, possessive hug. “Hands off my woman.”

Iris rolled her eyes fondly and, without missing a beat, wriggled free to pat Hades’ shoulder.

“Come on, you cutie. Eat before you faint.”

Hades glanced between them, clearly torn between irritation and the absurd comfort of being fussed over.

“I’m not fainting,” he said stiffly. Then, quieter: “But I’m not turning down your stew.”

Robert shot Hades a pointed look and jabbed a finger at his chest.

“Hey, You can’t just come here and steal my wife’s attention.”

     “She’s my mom.”Hades snorted.

Robert blinked, then threw up his hands in exaggerated surrender.

“Well, yeah — and she’s my wife. Figure it out, son. Go look for your own woman.”

Iris laughed, the sound warm and bright in the tense room, and planted a quick kiss on Robert’s cheek.

“You two are impossible,” she chided, but her eyes were soft as she watched them bicker.

    ★ 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫’𝐬 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞★

Corazon slammed the door on her way out, her suitcase rolling behind her as the echo of her heels faded down the marble hallway.

Upstairs, Gael sat on the floor beside his bed, surrounded by empty bottles. Ten, maybe more, he’d lost count hours ago.

His shirt was half unbuttoned, tie hanging loose around his neck. His eyes were red, swollen, and glassy from tears that refused to stop.

“Why…” he muttered, voice hoarse as he poured himself another drink. “Why couldn’t she just love me?” He slammed the glass down, spilling whiskey all over his hand.

“Why Anthony… why him of all people…” His words broke apart, dissolving into another pitiful sob.

The door creaked open slightly, and Maureen peeked in.

“Sir…” she whispered, stepping in quietly. “You’ve had enough to drink.”

Gael looked up, eyes unfocused, expression hollow.

“Maureen,” he slurred, a broken smile twitching on his lips. “You’ve always been here… always…” He tried to stand but stumbled, catching her by the arm.

“Sir, please….” she began, but before she could finish, his hand came up to her face, fingers trembling.

His eyes searched hers, full of longing, confusion, and unbearable pain.

“I gave her everything,” He whispered, his voice cracking. “Everything, Maureen… and she still left.”

“Mr. Gael, you should rest,” she murmured, trying to steady him, but then he leaned in suddenly.

His lips pressed against hers. It wasn’t gentle. It was desperate, messy, fueled by alcohol and heartbreak.

Maureen froze, eyes widening in shock as her hands instinctively went to his chest.

“Sir—please, don’t…” she breathed against his mouth, trembling.

But Gael pulled back, his expression collapsing into guilt and confusion as his knees buckled.

“I’m sorry…” he mumbled, falling back onto the bed, tears streaking down his face.

“I didn’t mean… I just…” His voice trailed off as his eyes fluttered shut, lost to the alcohol and exhaustion.

Maureen stood there for a long moment, heart pounding, staring at him but instantly he kissed her again.

Before she could react fully, she kissed back, more out of instinct than desire, her mind racing.

Then, using a swift move, she grabbed a nearby pillow and pressed it against his face.

Gael’s struggles slowed, and within moments, he slumped unconscious onto the bed.

Maureen pulled the pillow away, stepping back, brushing her hair from her face. She scoffed lightly, shaking her head.

“He’s a great kisser…. too bad I don’t have a soft spot for my enemies.” She scoffed and walked out of the room, leaving him passed out and alone.

    ★ 𝐌𝐈𝐀 – 4𝐏𝐌★

Morgan sat on the edge of her suite bed, the wine glass heavy and useless in her hand.

She drank and drank, but the liquid only warmed her throat — it couldn’t numb the raw ache hollowing her chest.

Tears leaked without permission, burning hot, then cooled into a hard, bitter glare.

She stared at the framed photo on her dressing tabl, one of she and Trevor, a perfect smile that suddenly felt like a lie.

Her fists tightened until her knuckles blanched. She wanted someone to feel this. Not pity. Not comfort. Pain. Retribution.

She reached for her phone with a slow, deliberate movement, thumb hovering over a name she already knew would answer.

    Natasha.

She dialed. The call rang twice.

“Hello?” Natasha’s voice was lazy, like she hadn’t expected orders this early.

“Bring Bluey to my suite,” Morgan said, flat and dangerous.

The wine had not softened her tone. It sharpened it.

“Now. Drag her if you have to. I want her where I can see her.”

There was a pause on the line, a small intake of breath that could have been surprise — or excitement.

“You sure, boss?” Natasha purred. “You want me to fetch the little charity girl? But….”

“Yes.” Morgan’s smile was all ice. “And make it hurt.”

She ended the call and tossed the phone onto the bed.

The glass in her other hand trembled; she let the wine slosh against the rim and looked up at the ceiling as if searching for an answer that wouldn’t come.

    ****

Bluey barely had time to react before hands grabbed her, pushing her roughly toward the center of Morgan’s suite.

Bryan and Aris looked uncertain, fear etched across their faces, while Natasha followed stiffly, her jaw tight with guilt.

Morgan emerged from her room, whip coiled in her hand, eyes glinting with a dangerous satisfaction.

“You’re perfect,” she hissed, circling Bluey like a predator. “Exactly who I want to let out all my anger on.”

Before Bluey could plead, Morgan lashed the whip across her back. The sharp crack echoed through the room, and Bluey yelped, arching from the sting, tears welling instantly.

     “Please… I didn’t do anything ” Her voice broke.

“Now, Bryan,” Morgan commanded, pointing at him. “You’re going to help. Come on.”

    Bryan froze, trembling. “I… I can’t—”

“You will,” Morgan said, voice cold, unrelenting.

Panic twisted his face, and his hands shook as he gripped the whip. With a forced motion, he struck, the leather slamming against Bluey’s back.

She gasped, a raw, choking sound escaping her lips.

Bluey’s body shuddered, her sobs filling the room.

“Please, stop! I’ll do anything! I’ll leave! I’ll—” Each plea fell on Morgan’s unyielding stare, while the whip rose again.

Bluey’s cries grew louder, her hands instinctively clutching at her reddened back.

She tried to curl up, to escape the pain, but Morgan’s control was absolute. Every lash left her trembling, pleading for mercy that didn’t come.

Bryan faltered with each strike, guilt written all over his face, but Morgan’s icy command forced his compliance.

Natasha’s eyes darted anxiously, but she didn’t intervene, and Aris’s hands clenched tightly, too scared to step in.

Bluey’s sobs echoed in the room, the sound of someone utterly powerless under the rage of another, every plea begging for the pain to end.

    *****

Bluey’s steps were unsteady, each movement sending sharp jolts of pain across her bloodied back.

Her robe hung loosely, stained and torn, dragging slightly as she limped toward her dorm.

She hadn’t wanted anyone to see her like this especially not Hades, but the moment she turned the corner at the end of the hallway, there he was.

Hades froze mid-step, his dark eyes locking onto her. The usually calm, unreadable mask of his face twisted ever so slightly, a storm of anger, protectiveness, and something more primal flickering behind his gaze.

He looked like a predator who had spotted his prey hurt, and even though no words escaped him yet, the aura around him made the air feel colder, heavier.

Bluey instinctively stepped back, wincing as her robes shifted, exposing the raw streaks across her back.

“H-Hades… it’s nothing,” she stammered, voice barely a whisper. “It was an accident…”

But Hades didn’t move to comfort her immediately. Instead, his gaze sharpened, darkening with a deadly intensity.

“Who did this to you?” His voice was low, almost a growl, each word dripping with ice and fire at once.

Bluey’s throat tightened. She hadn’t expected him to look like this, so cold, so terrifyingly fierce.

She hesitated, barely able to meet his eyes, her pain mingling with fear.

“I… I don’t want you to worry,” she murmured, but her voice betrayed the trembling in her chest.

Hades took a slow, measured step toward her, every movement controlled but threatening, like a storm barely contained.

His hand twitched, the way it always did when he was ready to strike at anyone who dared harm what he claimed as his.

“Bluey,” He said, his voice barely above a growl, “….don’t make me repeat myself. Who f×king hurt you?.”

“Morgan and her lackeys.” She said lowly.

    *****

Hades stood like a dark statue outside the dorm, the evening air tense around him.

Two boys shoved Aris, Bryan, and Natasha forward, forcing them to kneel on the cold ground before him.

Their heads bowed, their eyes wide with fear, their pleas trembling in the silence.

“Please… Hades, it wasn’t us! Morgan…she made us do it!” Natasha cried, voice cracking.

“It was her! She forced us! We didn’t want to….please!” Aris added, desperation in every syllable.

Hades slowly rolled up his sleeves, the black fabric sliding up to reveal his forearms. The sight made the students lingering in the corridors freeze in both fear and pity.

    None dared move.

“I made an announcement this morning,” Hades said, his tone deadly calm, each word slicing through the air.

“And you thought I was f+king joking?” His eyes scanned each of them, sharp and merciless.

He turned his gaze sharply to the kneeling trio. “Who used the whip on her?”

Natasha and Aris exchanged a quick, terrified glance before both pointed directly at Bryan.

“I’m sorry… please, forgive me, Hades!” Bryan’s voice was frantic, eyes wide and pleading, the weight of his guilt almost crushing him.

Hades didn’t speak at first. He just stared, his expression cold and unreadable, the tension so thick the air seemed to vibrate around them.

Hades’ grip on Bryan’s collar was iron-strong, his dark eyes burning with rage. With a sudden, brutal motion, he slammed his fist into Bryan’s face.

The crack echoed across the hallway. Blood splattered, staining Hades’ clothes and the floor beneath him.

“I said… no one lays a finger on her!!” Hades growled, his voice low and deadly.

Bryan barely had time to stagger before Hades struck again. Each punch landed with bone-jarring impact, forcing Bryan to the ground and back up again.

His nose bled freely, a gash split his lip, and his shirt was smeared with crimson.

The students watching from the corridors recoiled in terror.

They had never seen Hades like this, like an unrestrained predator, a god of wrath unleashed.

Every swing, every punch, sent a shiver of fear through them.

Bryan’s cries of pain filled the air, his pleas lost under Hades’ relentless assault.

“Stop… please… I’m sorry!” he gasped, but Hades’ fury only intensified.

“You know one thing I hate, right?”Hades asked.

    “Disobedience.” Bryan shook.

“This is what happens when you disobey me hurt what’s mine!” Hades roared, his fists moving faster, more precise, and utterly merciless.

Blood, sweat, and sheer terror mingled in the hallway as Hades, dead-eyed and monstrous, made it clear, he was not someone to ever cross.

The scene was chaotic, violent, and horrifying. Every student present knew that no one in that school could stand against him when he was like this.

    *

Bryan lay sprawled on the floor, barely breathing, his face a swollen, bloody mess. Hades didn’t pause.

Punch after punch landed with brutal precision, counting in his head as if marking his wrath.

    “96…97…98…99…100.”

    Hades finally pulled back.

Bryan was limp, eyes shut, unresponsive. The hallway was deathly silent, broken only by the harsh breathing of Hades.

His face and shirt were streaked with blood, his expression cold and feral. He looked less like a man and more like a monster who had just devoured its prey.

    🔊 Player 088… Eliminated.

A collective gasp rippled through the watching students. No one dared to breathe.

Did Hades… seriously just kill Bryan? With his bare hands?

Hades stood, towering over the carnage, as two guards cautiously stepped forward and hauled Bryan’s bloody body away.

Natasha trembled violently, and Aris’s face drained of all color. Natasha fainted, collapsing to the floor in fear.

Up at the barricade, Morgan watched, frozen in sheer terror.

Her body shook uncontrollably, heart hammering, she had never seen fear like this, never felt the raw, unrelenting danger of Hades’ wrath firsthand.

Hades’ gaze swept up to meet hers. The air seemed to crackle with menace.

“No…no…no.!” Morgan said in fear, stumbling back.

“You better run, Morgan… because you’re next.”

    ••FLORIDA STATE••

Victoria was working on her desk and there was a knock, she asked the person to come in and Lisa entered.

“Hey, you”. Lisa said and Victoria raised her face to her and she sat down.

” Hey girlfriend, what brought you here?”.

“Not happy to see me?”. she feigns a frown.

” Of course not, I am happy to see you” They smile at each other. “So, tell me, what brings you to my office?”.

” Well, I stop by to bring lunch for my baby”. she said.

       “I knew it”. They chuckle.

” You can’t blame me, he is too tempted to resist”.

        “You are silly”. They laughed.

” So, tell me, how did your date go with Lonnie?”.

      “It was good”.

        ” Really? Tell me more”.

        “There is nothing to tell”.

” What are you hiding? Have you started to develop likeness for him?”.

“I never said I hate him”.

       ” That’s not what I meant”.

“We are just friends, Lisa, and I am still trying my best to open up to him, just that I feel something is drawing me back not to”.

” And what could that be?”.

       “I have no idea”.

” Well, I will advise you to give it a thought”.

        “I will try”.

” So, pack up, and let’s go”.

        “Where are we going?”.

” Is lunchtime, don’t worry, bills are on me “. She said.

” Ok” She stood up and they left.

         ••Leonard’s mansion••

      ~Andrew and Adrian’s room~

Both were seated on their bed looking moody, Gabriel walked in to see their paled look.

“What happened to you two? Why are you looking like this? Did something happen?”. He asked curiously as he sat between them.

” Nothing really happened, is just that…”Andrew said.

“That what, you both are scaring me”.

” We had the same dream again Gabriel”. Adrian said and Gabriel sighed in relief.

“Gosh, you two scared me, I thought something happened to you two”. He said and sighed.” Is it the same dream of you seeing a man?”.

“Yes, this time it felt real, the man was handsome and caring”. Adrian said.

” Did you see his face this time?”.

        “Yes”. Andrew said.

“We look a little alike and believe we were so drawn to him and wish to never let go of him,” Adrian said.

“Wow, this sounds interesting, you two are having the same dream at the same time”.

” Who do you think that man can be? Could it be that, he is our father?”.Andrew asked.

“I don’t know, I think we should tell Mom about this”. Gabriel said.

        ” You think so?”.Adrian asked.

“Yeah, I guess it will help explain the dream”. he said and they sighed.

    ★★★★★

The whole family was having their dinner and Victoria saw the paled look on their faces.

” What’s wrong Andrew and Adrian? Is there something bothering you?”. She asked.

“I was mainly to ask”. Mr.Loanard said.” What’s wrong kids?”.

“Nothing, is just that we are bothered about something”. Adrian said.

” What could that be dear?”.Victoria asked.

“Mom, what’s our dad like?”.Andrew asked. Victoria was shocked by the words including her father.” Please tell us Mom, you have never told us what he actually looks like”.

“Andrew why are you asking this question all of a sudden?”. Mr. Leonard asked confusedly.

” Grandpa is not their fault, they are just curious to ask because of the dream they are constantly having”.Gabriel said.

“A dream? What dream?”. Victoria asked curiously.

” Adrian and I have been having this dream of seeing a man and we look so much alike a little”.Andrew said.

“For how long have you two been having this dream?”. Mr. Leonard asked.

“It has been long grandfather, it started on our three years birthday, and we never understood it until the man kept appearing to us”. Adrian said.

        “Was it scary?”. She asked.

” No Mom, it was amazing, Adrian and I were so happy to be with him and we wish he would remain”. Andrew said and Victoria sighed.

“Did our Dad abandon us or did he die way before we were born”. Adrian asked.

” I wish I had the answer to it, but I don’t”.Victoria said sadly.

“Come on kids, don’t stress your mother, let’s eat and I will tell you all about it someday, ok?”.

” Ok, grandpa”. They said and continued eating but Victoria was still looking pale.

Some hours later, the kids had gone to bed, Victoria was standing by the balcony of her room looking lonely and lost in thought, suddenly, she felt goosebumps and also felt a phantom touch around her.

“What’s this feeling? Why do I keep having them?”. She sighs confusedly.

” Are you ok?”.Mr.Leonard asks from behind as he moves to join her.

        “I don’t know Dad”.

” Are you worried about what the kids said?”.

“I guess so, I also want to know who their father was”.

“I understand you, but time will tell”. he said.

” I want to remember everything that happened, it’s as if someone far away is yawning for me”.

        “How do you mean?”.

” I do have this feeling all the time that I am being missed by someone and I can’t understand it”.She sighed and rested her head on her father’s shoulder.

“Is going to be fine”. He reassures her and pats her shoulder.

        •• CALIFORNIA STATE••

Alex came to the hospital to answer Luke’s call, he was seated in his office waiting for him, and not too long after, Luke came over.

” Am sorry I kept you waiting”.He apologizes.

“Is ok, you sent for me urgently”. Alex said.

” Yes, I find something and I want you to see for yourself”. He handed over a brown envelope to him. Alex took it and opened the envelope as he brought out a white paper, he glanced through it for a while and was surprised.

“What?”. He said surprisedly and looked at Luke.” How do you get this? Was Aurora pregnant?”.

“I guess she was, I was searching for something on the computer in the laboratory and I happened to find this in the old files on the system”. He said and Alex fell loose on the chair.

        ” Oh no”.

“According to what my assistant told me, he said Aurora came to run some tests because she wasn’t feeling too fine, he asked a nurse to take her blood sample and see what was wrong, but something happened, one of the nurses mistakenly poured water on the computer and it went blank and they thought the file was deleted since the computer went blank, but I am surprised the files is in the system”. He explained

” What is the point of hearing the good news when she is not here”.

        “I am sorry about that”.

” This so unfair”. he said with his head bowed and tears crawling out from his eyes.

“Don’t be like that, Alex, am sure there is a reason why this happens”.

” What reason could it be? Why does it have to be my Aurora, why?”. he sniffs.

        “Come on Alex”.

” I can’t, I can’t do this anymore”. he stood up and rushed out of the office, Luke tried to call him back, but he ignored him.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth and Spike were at the corner of the hospital building.

“Did you get the potion?”. She asked.

” Yes I did”. he said and gave her a little bottle containing the liquid substance.

        “How do I use it?”.

” According to what the seer said, she said you should add a little drop on his food or drink and when he drinks or eats that food, he will be yours forever”.He explains.

“Really? This is very easy, but is not going to be possible”.

        ” How?”.

“How do I get him to eat my food or drink anything?”.

” You can do anything to get his attention, fake a robbery attack, leave that to me, I will do that, make him come to your house”.

        “You think that will work?”.

” Believe me, it will”. he said and Elizabeth jumped up happily.

“Good, we should do it today, am off night duty today, you can go to my house and start the plan”. She handed over the keys to him.

” Let’s do this”. He said and walked away.

“yes! Finally! he will be mine”.

         ••Alex Mansion••

Alex was packing his suitcase and at the same time on the phone with Richard.

📞” Really? Aurora was pregnant?”.Richard asked from the other end of the phone confusedly.

📞”Yes, it was the day she went missing, and I am sure someone was responsible for Aurora’s disappearance”.He said.

📞”You really think so? But who could that be?”.

📞”I have no idea, but whoever did that will get it hard from me”.

📞”I support you on that, so where are you going now?”.

📞”To Florida, I want to spend some time there for the main time and also to attend a party I was invited to by one of my highest investors”.

📞”OK, that’s great, what time are you leaving?”.

📞”Tonight, I have already booked a flight and it will take off by eleven”.

    📞”Alright man, best of luck”.

📞”Sure, kiss little Aurora for me and tell her I will be away for some time and I will be back before New Year’s Eve”.

📞”Sure, I will do that, call me when you get there”.

📞”I will”. He hung up and left for the bathroom to freshen up after arranging his luggage.

       ALEXANDER POV

Is been years now, since I lost Aurora, and my life has been miserable without her, everyone thought I was going insane because I was obsessed with her, and I never cared about what they said. I still believe she is alive somewhere and I will see her again, I don’t care to wait for eternity till I meet with her. A lot of dates have been set for me by my mother, but I careless about it as long as my heart still beats for Aurora.

I kept working hard to ignore the date being set for me, I promised never to have anything with another woman except Aurora, and although Elizabeth has been making advances at me, I just don’t see myself accepting her, I know she has helped a lot in trying to comfort me, I still can’t see myself accepting her.

I came to Richard’s house for the family dinner I was invited to, their daughter just clock four and they are expecting another baby on the way.

“I thought you won’t make it”. Richard said immediately after I entered the house to see their marriage photo hung on the wall.

” Sorry, I stop by to get this”. I replied showing him a bottle of wine I bought.

“Is good you are here anyway”. Nina said arranging the dinner table with food.

” Where is my little princess?” I asked and just then I heard her speak from the staircase.

“Uncle Alex!”. She calls happily running towards me, I pick her up and caress her in my arms.” I miss you, uncle”.

“I miss you, my darling Princess”. I kissed her cheek and put her down.

” But I am angry with you”.She frowned turning her face away and I knew why she was angry.

“I know, I am sorry for not coming to your birthday party, I went out on a business trip, I promise to be present next year”.

” I am not buying that”. she said and her parents were staring at us.

“I know, you have every reason to be angry, that’s why I brought you something”. I said and she turned to me smiling.

       ” Really?”.She asked excitedly.

“Yes, but close your eyes first”. I said and she shut her eyes quickly. My driver came behind me and handed over the wrapped gift for me.” You can open them”. She opened her eyes and I gave her the gift.

       “What’s this? is so big”.

” Why not see for yourself”.

She sat down and started to unwrap the gift, she was amazed to see a big pink teddy bear inside the box, she screamed excitedly and jumped on me.

“Thank you, Uncle Alex, I love it”.

” You are always welcome”. I put her down and caress her face.

“I love you, uncle, you are the best”.

” And I love you too my cute pretty Aurora”. I pick her up again and caress her into my arms. Her name always reminds me of my Aurora and I love her so much. Her parents named her after Aurora, and her presence always reminds me that my Aurora is alive somewhere.

“Enough for the chatting, the food is getting cold”. Richard said interrupting us and we pulled away from each other.

” Don’t be jealous Dad”.She said and we smiled.

“Don’t listen to him, he is jealous of our little love”. I said and we laughed.

” Yeah, yeah, now you two come on”. he said and we left for the dining table.

The next day, I was working at my desk when Elizabeth walked in.

“Hey, handsome”. She said as she sat in front of me with her legs crossed.

” Hey, what a surprise to see you here”. I said.”What can I offer you?”.

        “Nothing, am fine”.

        ” Are you sure?”.

“Yes, I just miss you, that’s why I came to see you”. She said and I sighed.

” Elizabeth, let’s–“. She cut me short.

“No Alex, I know what you are going to say”. She sighs.” Why won’t you let go and move on”.

        “I can’t “.

” Why not? is been years”.

       “Is not that easy”.

“It’s, I love you Alex and you know that I have given you enough time for you to notice me, Aurora is dead and gone for good”.

“Don’t say that, she is not gone for good”.

” Then where is she?” she asked feeling upset.”She is six feet gone”.

“Will you just stop”. I sighed.”I know you have been an amazing person so far, but I am sorry I can’t bring myself to accept another woman in my life, not now or ever”.

” Alex!”. She stood up angrily.

“Is the truth Elizabeth, please respect my decision and find someone else, please”. I said and I could see the angry look on her face.

” I won’t give up on the love I have for you, I will wait even if I have to wait for eternity”. She said and walked away and I sighed after her.

“What a girl”. I said and I smiled at Aurora’s photo on my desk. ” Did you hear that wifey? But not to worry, you are the only one for me and I will never accept anyone in my life, I love you so much”. I said and then resumed my work.

After work hours, I drove to Aurora’s grandmother’s side to visit her. I bought an apartment for her to live in and I employed maids to take care of her.

“Is so good to see you again my son”. She said and hugged me.

” Thank you, granny, how have you been?”. I asked and we pulled away from each other arms and left for the dining table to have our dinner.

“Am fine, all thanks to you”. She said smiling.

” I am happy to hear that”. I said and took a scoop of the meal to my mouth.

“So, how is working treating you?”.

“It has been hectic”. I replied and we laughed.

After some minutes, we were done eating and we came to the living room.

         “Did you enjoy your meal?”.

” Yes granny, did you make this?”.

“Yes, you said you were coming over, so I have to prepare something nice for you”.

” And I won’t lie, it was delicious”. I said and we laughed.

“I am so happy Aurora chose you”.

” No, granny, I am the happiest that I fell for her first, it has been an amazing moment with her, and will live with her memory until my heart stops beating for her….which means when I die”.

“Don’t say that, you won’t die, you still have a long life ahead of you”.

” Not without Aurora, this life has been boring and empty without her around, I am still living because I believe she is still alive”.

“Alex, I know you love my granddaughter so much, but it’s time to move on”.

” Not you granny, it’s not that easy, I can’t, my heart won’t accept it, please don’t be among those that are urging me to move on”.

“I am not urging you, I am just worried about you”.

” You don’t have to granny, I will be fine, I love Aurora so much, she is not just an ordinary girl to me, she is my wife, Even though we haven’t had our wedding to make it official, but we are legally married”.

“I am happy about that”.She said and we smiled at each other.

      NARRATOR POV

Elizabeth was in the restroom getting pissed off about constant rejection from Alex, she decided to come to the restroom to avoid suspicion from the rest nurse.

” Why is he being so difficult, It has been years and he still hasn’t forgotten about her”. She sighed angrily. “I have not come this far to be ditched by him, I will have to do something for him to fall at my feet, I don’t mind sacrificing my life for it”. She said angrily and then phoned Spike. 📞 “Meet me today by seven pm at the hospital”. She said and hung up and then came out, but was stopped by one of the nurses.

👤” There you are, I was looking everywhere for you”.

“I was in the restroom, is there a problem?”. she asked.

👤” Not really, there is a patient in room six that needs to be attended to, Doctor Luke asked me to inform you to go check on the patient”

“Ok, thank you”. She walks away.

At the laboratory, Doctor Luke was going through the computer and then his eyes caught something on the computer as he was checking some old files on the computer.

” What’s this?”. He clicked on the files and it showed Aurora’s test result. “Aurora’s test result?”. He thought confusedly and clicked on the files and it appeared fully on the screen and he was shocked to see what the result said.

“Andrew! Adrian! Hurry up you two am getting late”. She yelled.

” Aren’t you going to have breakfast first?”.Mr. Leonard asked sipping from his coffee.

“No, Dad, am running late for work, I have an important investor coming today and I don’t want to be late”.She sighed and called out to the twins again. ” Where the heck are those kids, is the last day of school”.

“Relax Mom, you should know, how clumsy they can be”. Gabriel said.

” We heard that”. Andrew and Adrian said from the staircase as they rushed to hug their mother.

“Sorry Mom, for keeping you waiting”. Andrew apologizes.

        ” Is ok, now let’s go”.She said.

“Let them have their breakfast first”. Mr. Leonard said.

“We have already had our breakfast Grandpa, nanny served us earlier in our room”. Adrian said.

“OK, you three should take care of yourself, Gabriel takes care of your brothers”. He said.

” Of course Grandpa, I will”. he said smiling.

“Shall we go now”. Victoria said. The kids kissed their grandfather on the cheek and left with their mother, they entered the car and drove out.

“Mom, are you having an important guest coming today?”. Andrew asked.

” Yes dear, why did you ask?”.

“Because you look extremely gorgeous today”. He said and Victoria smiled.

” This isn’t the first time Mom has looked gorgeous, she is always pretty, and I am lucky to have a pretty mom, do you know all our peers in school are jealous of our mom”.Adrian said.

       “Really son?”.

” Yes Mom, you are the prettiest mom in the world”. Adrian said.

“Yeah, we all know that, can you two just shut it, am trying to concentrate here”. Gabriel said.

” Concentrate on what, are you rehashing your love letter to Madison?”. Adrian teased and they laughed.

        “Who is Madison?”. Victoria asked.

        ” Gabriel’s crush”. Andrew said.

“Of course not, she is not my crush”. he said and frowned at Andrew and Adrian.” Aren’t you two being nosey”.

“Is the truth, don’t deny it”. Andrew said.

” Alright, enough you two, if Gabriel is having a crush on someone, let him be, stop teasing him with it, remember he is grown up and soon be out of college”. She said and Gabriel smiled

“Thank you, Mom,”.he said. Andrew and Adrian groan tiredly at him.

” We are not in support of your crush on Madison that girl is not even that pretty”. Adrian blasted and got a hit on the head.”Ouch”.

“He is right though”. Andrew supported.

” You two can say whatever you like, my heart still beats for her”. he grins.

“So, you do have a crush on her….you have a bad taste, big bro,”. Andrew said.

” Andrew and Adrian, stop it already”.

“Fine!”. they said and grinned at Gabriel.

” We are here”. She said and the driver parked in front of the school gate and the children came out.”You guys should take care of yourself, I love you”.

         ALL:”Love you too Mom!”

“Bye”. She waved at them and the driver drove.

” Last day in school, so cool”.Gabriel said smiling.

“Please don’t propose to Madison in front of us today”. Adrian said.

” Who says I was going to do that? Even if I want to, is none of your business”. He said and walked away. They sighed after him.

“Big Brother is heading to his doom”. Andrew said and they left to meet their friends who yelled out their names.

        ••Leonard’s company••

After the meeting with the investor, Victoria left with her PA to her office.

        “Anything else?”.She asked.

“Yes ma, your dinner date with Mr. Lonnie is today at three pm in Columbia restaurant”. He said and She sighs.

        ” Is that still on?”.

“Yes ma, you have ditched him many times, I think you should give him a chance”. he said.

” You and I know, I don’t like him, is just because of the business deal we had and he is trying to mix business with pleasure”. Victoria said.

“You can’t literally date him, is just a normal date, don’t ditch him this time”.

       ” Fine! I won’t “.

” Good, I will inform him”. He said and walked away.

Victoria continued with her work, and then her cell phone rang, she smiled to see the Caller ID.

       📞”Hey bestie”.

📞”I heard you finally agreed to go on a date with Mr. Lonnie”. Lisa said from the other end of the phone.

📞”How did you…..oh, let me guess, Frank told you”.

📞”Yeah, he is my boyfriend and also your PA, so he never hides anything concerning your relationship life from me”.

📞”Yeah, maybe I should fire him”.

📞”Don’t you dare! You know we are planning for our wedding”.

      📞”Yeah, right “. They giggle.

📞” So, what are you wearing for the date?”.

📞”Come on Lisa, do I have to look good for the date, I will just go after work”.

📞”Come on Victoria, that guy has been asking you out for decay now, you have to look your best for him, you never can tell, he might be your companion and a lovely father to your adorable kids, you know he loves them so much”.

     📞”Yeah, but–“.

📞”No but, try and give him a chance, he is a nice and successful businessman”.

📞”Lisa, I know, Lonnie is a nice guy, is just that, I just don’t see myself liking him as someone I want to spend the rest of my life with, I just want to be friends with him”.

📞”Unfortunately, Mr. Lover Boy doesn’t want that, but not to worry, everything will be fine”.

     📞”I hope so”.

📞”Anyways, good luck on your date”.

📞”Thank you, I will talk to you later”. She hung up and let out a sigh.

    .

    .

    .

    .

Later in the day, Victoria came to meet Lonnie at the restaurant, he was waiting for her, and immediately he saw her, he stood up and welcomed her with a kiss on the cheek.

“Thank you for coming”. He said and adjusted the chair for her to sit.

” Thank you, am sorry for keeping you waiting “. she apologizes sincerely.

” Is ok, is good that you are here”. he smiled and then the waiter came to take their order.

After a while, the waiter came with their order and they started eating while having a conversation with each other.

Later in the day, after the amazing date with Lonnie, she drove to school to pick up her kids.

“How was school today?”. She asked immediately after the kids entered the car.

” Fine, but why did you come to pick us up, aren’t you stressed out from work?”. Gabriel asked.

“Is it a bad thing to pick up my kids from school?”.

” Not at all Mom, we are just concerned about your health, I know it’s stressful at work, you could have just gone home and allowed the driver to come pick us up “.Andrew said.

” Don’t worry kids, am fine”.

“Did your meeting with the investor go well?”. Adrian asked.

” Yes, it was a success and they will be investing with us”.

       “That’s good news”. Gabriel said.

” Congratulations Mom”. Andrew and Adrian said.

“Thank you”. they smile at each other.

    ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

Her breaths froze with her, and she felt the chills on the core of her mind.

Their eyes met. Anger danced with defiance. Fury tangoed with deviance.

She didn’t let go of her shot arm, the blood kept pouring, and she kept losing strength.

She let go of her gun, and the moment it fell on the ground, Monika screamed from the front.

“What the hell are you doing, Joyce!!”

She directed her nozzle to them, firing at Leonardo, but he was too swift. He grabbed Ivanna by the neck, sliding behind her and using her as shield for himself.

Monika’s bullets stopped coming immediately. Her eyes widened, and she jumped down the chair she’s on.

    “Joyce!”

As her feet landed on the ground, she got shot on the arm just like Ivanna, and she groaned as she grabbed the arm tightly, seeing blood.

Still, she started running towards Ivanna who’s still in Leonardo’s grip.

“Loving mother you’ve got. So loving that she killed my mother despite knowing that she wasn’t the one who killed your father…” Leonardo whispered in Ivanna’s ears.

    She held her breaths.

“So loving, that she twisted the story for everyone. Fact is, Santos loved Vera too, but father’s loveless legacy made Vera break up with him. Your mother was the happiest person alive when that shit happened. She’s a poison genius anyways, so she poisoned Santos… Santos slept with her, and as a responsible man that he was, he didn’t deny the baby—you. Monika stole Santos, which is why she’s still so bitter till now. I bet each time she wakes up, all she thinks in her head is; Why did Santos love Vera and not me? Why was Vera prettier? Why was she the loved woman!”

Leonardo laughed, the sound hauntingly beautiful.

Ivanna froze yet again as the sound hit her ear shells.

Monika is still on the run to them, and she’s still screaming.

The Crimson gangsters and The Cokers’ are still clashing, and now the number of Crimson gangsters dead on the ground is too much.

Whereas, the fallen Coker mobsters are just two.

Moo is currently on the alter with Hayden, crying as she tried to raise his bloody body up.

“Used me?” Leonardo laughed again. No, whore. I wasn’t caught unawares. I was once in possession of your necklace and Monika’s locket together, and I saw the similarities which I never blew off. I weighted possibilities, and I waited for you to make your choice, but too bad you chose to betray me.” He sighed.

By now, Monika is almost with them.

“And now, you pay the damn price…” He finished up and signalled at the mobsters.

Stanley and Nino threw down smoke bombs, and as the bombs blasted, smokes filled the hall with a mixture of tear gas cos as they inhaled, forced tears crawled out of their eyes.

The smokes formed a thick fog, covering everywhere.

Monika stopped in the middle of it, gasping and waiting…

    Waiting….

She couldn’t move cos she’s not even seeing herself.

    She stood there.

Ten minutes went by before she could move.

By now, the smokes has cleared a bit, but it’s like the Cokers’ cleared with the smokes.

    They’re gone!

    They left with Ivanna.

Even the cat is gone too.

“Joyce!!!!!!!!” Monika screamed, holding her head with her hands.

She ran out of the hall, stepping on the bodies of her gang.

Moo is the only one remaining in the hall now…on the alter.

She’s sitting on the ground, holding Hayden’s body.

    He’s not dead yet.

He got hit in the middle of his stomach. The gates of hell is open for him already. He’s already going.

There are tears in his eyes as he stared up at Moo’s face.

Moo is shedding tears too, hotly.

    Her tears fell on him.

    “Moona,” he whispered, painfully.

    She nodded.

“Been three years since you last called me that. Been three years since your memories got wiped…” She sniffled, touching his face.

“And your womb got ruined,” he muttered, his eyes closing a bit.

    “You remember now?” She hiccupped.

“Everything….” He replied, and her tears only fell more.

“I guess the shock you received from the gunshot sent shockwaves to your memories. That must be why…” Moo nodded, cradling his face…

“I guess I wasn’t destined to live long…I was destined to follow my parents after all.” He smiled, blood filing his mouth.

“I’m so sorry….if I hadn’t hunted you down, killed Penny’s secretary in your clinic, killed the cat and killed the truck driver to make you a wanted criminal. If I hadn’t ruined you to bring you to the cave, you wouldn’t be destroyed like this.” She sobbed, her voice clogged.

    “No…” Hayden smiled faintly.

“Following you was my choice. If I allowed the cops to just take me, I’d have served term in prison and still be alive, but I chose follow you. My predicament is my fault…not…yours…” Hayden coughed blood, and it spilled on his face.

“Hayden!” She gasped, shaking her head fast.

He raised his hand, reaching for her face. She took that hand and placed it on her face for him.

    Her tears fell again.

    “Hayden…”

“Know my first impression of you? I thought you were just fragility wrapped under danger, and I still think so till now. You should live good, Moona. Start over.”

His hand fell from her face, and she quickly held it.

“Ha… Hayden…” She shook her head, and he smiled faintly.

“You’re…. beauti…ful.” He said his last, and her eyes widened.

His eyes closed. His body went cold.

She dragged his bloody body closer to herself, screaming out his name with despair and sorrow.

    But it didn’t last.

She sucked it up suddenly and pulled her gun out of her pocket. There’s only one bullet left.

She pointed it at her own head, shutting her eyes.

With Ivanna kidnapped, Monika is gonna lose it and probably run mad again, so where would she get the weekly poison to replenish?

She’s gonna die in a week if she doesn’t take it. Why wait till a week before hugging death?

Her lashes hugged tighter, and the last stream of tears left her closed eyes before she pulled the trigger.

She shot herself in the head.

[Chicago, Two Days Later~ House Of Coker]

It’s a celebratory day in the empire.

Everyone’s having their best time of the year, and there’s laughter and jibes flying around.

In the middle of the estate, Ivanna is tied to a pole just like back then in the Painhood.

She’s chained like a bloody sinner, and she looks badly beaten.

No proper clothes. She’s in her singlet and biker shorts only, and her hair is a web of tangled history in her head. Even her face is bruised.

She looks tired, and she looks like getting one word out of her mouth would be painful.

She’s not even looking at their celebration.

Her head is down, and her scattered hair covered it completely.

Sandra finished eating marsala with her bare hand, and she got a cup of water. She walked up to Ivanna’s pole and washed her hand on her head.

Ivanna didn’t move despite the filthy water bath.

Sandra forcefully lifted her face, grinning at her before headbutting her. Ivanna’s head rang.

She groaned out, and Sandra laughed, facing the rest of the mob who instantly shared her wicked laughter with her, especially Bobby.

    Bacardi isn’t around.

Tierney and Nino are supposed to look neutral, but they’re also laughing at the show.

“I’d have sued Satan if I died before today. I mean…look! It’s a whole cinematic experience here!” Bobby grinned, taking a bowl of ink.

He climbed the middle and poured it all on Ivanna, wetting her and painting her blue.

    The mobsters laughed again.

“I mean… you’re a stuntwoman, this should mean nothing, right?” Bobby pushed her head with a stick.

Ivanna’s head fell to a side, but she didn’t try moving it back.

Anywhere they push her head to, she leaves it there.

Bobby almost poured another bowl of ink, but that was when Leonardo and Stanley joined them.

Leonardo held the leather whip—her whip. It’s folded regally in his hand as he advanced with that same angry energy coursing through him.

Stanley joined the mob crowd and just sat, but Leonardo went to the pole, let go of the folded head of the whip then raised it.

When he brought it down on Ivanna’s body, it made a loud, whistling sound.

Her skin peeled, and her blood mixed with the ink.

But despite the pain, she smiled.

Finally a reaction from her, and she’s…

    Smiling?

Leonardo stuck her again and again, the belt clashing with her skin over and over and over…

Everyone watched in silence. Even the air seems like it’s afraid to blow. So only the sound of leather hitting skin rented the estate…

    Till Anthony and Felicia entered.

“Enough, Leo. Enough!” Anthony shouted loudly.

    [Cooper Family House]

The whole family arrived last night, and since then, there have been no sleep.

They spent their time catching up with the years they missed in this house. They spent the night at the backyard, and this morning they’re at the terrace, gazing into the morning together. Finally, their life feels like it has meaning again.

Ginny stretched out on the rails, placing her elbows on it before smiling widely.

“Nothing beats home, at all. I’mma have to go visit the places I’ve missed. My gaming arcade especially.”

“Our departure was actually for good. Three years ago, I was having ear dysfunction. Three years ago, I and Erica barely looked like humans cos of what Lissa did to us, but look at us now… Lissa is gone, and we’re back to start anew.” Leroy said, standing beside her.

Robert is on his seat, staring at the bank card with him. He used it this morning, and he’s expecting Bacardi to break in soon, either to shoot him to death or break him.

“Ivanna in the House Of Coker?” Erica sighed.

“All we can do is pray, mum. Her mum’s still alive, so I’m sure she’d scale through, though war looks inevitable as it is.” Robert said.

Ginny faced him, about to say something else, but a car grinded to a rough halt in front of the house.

Robert shot up, thinking it’s Bacardi, but it’s rather Thaddeus and Penny.

    The whole family froze.

Thaddeus is holding a gun, and so is Penny. They climbed the front stairs of the house with scary precision, and the family shifted back.

Robert pushed everyone of them behind himself, smartly.

“Oh…the big brother role definitely fits you… Robert.” Penny grinned.

“What do you want from us again!” Ginny shouted behind Robert.

“Your lives, obviously. You see… paupers like you don’t deserve to share the same breathing air with the remaining people… y’all are just gonna have everything contaminated.” Thaddeus pointed his gun forward like a warning.

“Again? Thaddeus. Again?” Leroy said behind Robert, anger oozing from him, but he can’t even vent it in face of Thaddeus’ gun.

“You cheated me in our business share! You made me get fired in my workplace, and I had to sell my properties to pay debts! I managed to start a seafood restaurant but you sabotaged it, threw I and my wife in jail and made us sign undertaking to start working in your construction company before bailing us out… same construction site you started with my money?”

“We agreed, but you still went ahead to try to kill me and my wife! We landed in the hospital, no treatment, then your daughter sent a parcel to deceive my kids into the clan. They entered the lion’s den and had to face life and death situations everyday, then your daughter proceeded to kidnapping us from the hospital, took us to the sheepfold where she tortured us like animals!”

“From the sheepfold, we were transferred to Phoenix Valley where we were locked in a dungeon!!!! Now that we think we’re free, you’re here again? What did we ever do to deserve this unending circle of sufferings? Why!!!” Leroy screamed, nearly crying.

“Have you ever considered being a storyteller? Your storytelling talent is so raw you were able to cap everything from start to finish. I’m gummed.” Penny smiled, devilish like a miscreant.

“But people are born with different auras, and you could call us wicked, then yes it fits the narrative cos your aliveness is infuriating. I know you, Leroy. Now that you’re hale and healthy and back to Chicago, your aim would be to target me. I won’t leave a big loophole like you alone. You? Your family? Today is the last day…” Thaddeus muttered.

Penny aimed too just like him, their guns facing the whole family.

“Go inside! Inside!!” Robert pushed them, and Ginny and the parents did the fast run in.

As they ran, Thaddeus and Penny shot, but Robert covered them behind. Thankfully, he’s with his gun.

It was still in his body when he was taken out of the country three years ago, and he has been keeping it.

He shot back, intentionally riling Thaddeus and Penny up.

They doubled their shots, but their bullets bit the walls instead of the family. It didn’t take long before they went out of bullets since their bullets are being counted so it’s limited.

They threw off their guns and ran inside with the family.

Robert tossed his gun too— his bullet is finished.

Robert closed the door, locking his family inside Ivanna’s former room.

Then he faced Thaddeus and Penny alone. Him against the two of them.

They were folding his arms at first, but when he gave them the first hit, they rolled down the tiles, and Penny’s head slammed on the wall.

Thaddeus threw three blows at at him consecutively, but his head kept going sideways and backwards as the blows hunted.

The last one met him on the eye, and he staggered, shaking his head to shake off the dizziness.

At the same time, Penny crashed a small glass stool on his back from behind.

    He groaned.

Thaddeus threw a kick to his crotch, and Robert staggered to the door heavily, groaning louder.

Thaddeus wanted to smash his head with that door, but Robert went down, so Thaddeus’ punch met with the door, creating a dent.

Robert’s fist met Thaddeus’ belly thrice, and the man fell back.

Penny threw herself at Robert for a snatch, but Robert’s knee went to her, throwing her off.

She landed on the ground, sliding off on the tile.

Thaddeus straightened, getting a knife out of his pocket.

He came for Robert with it, getting madly aggressive as he tried to stab him a number of times.

Each time, Robert swayed, swerved, ducked. He kicked the knife away from Thaddeus finally, and he flew to the man, catching him and going down with him.

Robert sat on top and began raining punches on Thaddeus’ face in repeat, till Thaddeus face turned too bloody.

His blood stained Robert’s face and knuckles, but he didn’t stop.

As he punched, Thaddeus groaned. As he groaned, Robert punched, determined to destroy that face.

    Behind him, Penny is up.

She picked another glass stool, then started running to him, wanting to crush Robert’s head with it.

But she could only get halfway.

The room door opened, and the rest of the family rushed out.

    Ginny, Erica, Leroy.

They’re all holding Ivanna’s metal box. So heavy and gritty.

They let it go on Penny’s head, and the moment it hit her, her head cracked in two places.

The stool fell from her, and blood ran down her face to her body, bathing her totally in red.

She stayed that way for one minute.

Sensing she was taking too long to fall, they raised the box to her head again, smashing it down for the second time.

Two more cracks appeared on Penny’s head, making four.

She fell on her knees, her mouth opened without sound.

The crash of her knees made Robert look back at them.

When he saw Penny’s body on the ground, he gasped.

Meanwhile, Thaddeus has picked the knife again, and he raised it up fast.

He’d have stabbed Robert in the throat, but a gunshot sounded in the house, and Thaddeus got shot in the throat three times.

His neck got slashed by the bullets, and his body slumped back to the ground, in blood beside his wife.

Robert stood slowly from the ground, and everyone else looked back too.

In the threshold, Bacardi stood, holding her gun tight with tears in her eyes.

Her eyes are nowhere else, just staring obsessively at Robert.

Emma is behind her, but she kept her distance.

Robert’s jaws dropped, and when he opened his mouth to talk, nothing formed for the first time.

    Second time, nothing.

    But the third? He bursted.

“I didn’t intentionally leave you. I wanted to stay, trust me. I didn’t mind what your family might do to me cos Iva shot Leo. I was willing to take everything, but then I got tranquilized and I was numbed to the plane. I only came back to my senses when I touched down in Dubai and it was too late! Emma here can testify to it! She was the one who shot me with the tranquili—”

“Shut up, Rob…” Bacardi cut him off, and his mouth closed back.

“Shut the fûck up and just… just….”

She broke down, then began rushing over to him.

Robert began crying too, not knowing what to expect till she got to him and held his face.

“Just kiss me… please…” She said.

Robert’s eyes nearly widened, but he held it back, and his hand went to her back, shoving her close.

    “Gawd…I missed you…” He sniffled.

“I love you, Rob. It never changed. I love you…” She shook her head.

“I love you, Cardi Coker. I love you madly.” He replied, lifting her so she stood on top of Penny’s body.

Robert stood on top of Thaddeus’, and their lips crashed crazily.

Tightening with obsession and darkness looped as one.

Their arms went around each other within a second, and as they smiled into the kiss, the tears in their face rushed into their mouths

They tasted salt, but it only hardened the kiss till they couldn’t breath.

Erica and Leroy and Ginny had to look away with secondhand shyness.

Emma is still standing at the threshold. She’s smiling.

Ginny suddenly noticed Ivanna’s box—the one they killed Penny with.

It’s open on the ground. Ivanna must have left it open three years ago.

She squatted beside it, picking up the things she saw.

First was Monika’s letter to Ivanna.

Second was a study guide on how long a person can live without immediate treatment after getting shot with wooden bullets.

    Third is a diary.

Ginny opened it, and the parents came closer to check with her.

The first date in the diary was when Ivanna was ten years old.

That was the first time she opened this box.

What she wrote in the diary about it goes like this…

    AGE 10.

    • Kill a child for her mother’s sins? I wonder what kind of person my mother really is.

    • Leonardo Esposito is currently 11 years old according to my research. Meaning he was one year old when my dad’s killing happened. Why would he also pay for his mother’s sins when my mother already killed his mother?

    • His mother’s death is already fair enough. Why do I have to carry the burden of killing the child too?

    AGE 11.

    • Finally heard more about Monika Crimson—my mother. The cruel Leader of the Crimson Cave who’re enemies to The Outfit where Leonardo Esposito is the Underboss.

    • She’s skilled in poison making. A master of poisons and danger. Wish I could just catch a glimpse of her once

    • No, dear diary, don’t get me wrong. If I see her once, not like I’m gonna follow her. I’m already fine with staying with this family. I love Ginny, love Robert, love Mummy Erica and Daddy Leroy, but it’s not too much to ask if I wanna see my mother, right?

    AGE 13.

    • I don’t have plans to kill Leonardo Esposito, but what if mother eventually comes for him? Heard he’s skilled, but he’s still a teen like me anyways. Why do I suddenly want to meet him too? Maybe protect him from mother?

    • Urg! Martial arts classes are so expensive. The Armandos already destroyed us so I can’t waste money for martial arts when we’re managing

    • Stunting! I just read something interesting about it. There’s a college for stunters. Men and women get trained to take arduous roles! Do I become a stuntwoman? I’ll attend college and take trainings at the same time, and if we’re chanced to meet, I can protect the boy.

    AGE 23!

    • Urg! I miss writing here. Can’t believe I didn’t write throughout my college days. You were covered in dust when I opened you, sorry! I got done with college last year, but I’m not influential so they don’t really invite me on set despite my abilities. Seems my stunting ability will only be useful if I meet that boy, but how?

    • Oh..lest I forget. I have a boyfriend, but we’re currently on a break cos we wanna lay our individual paths first. Note: I love him madly. Can’t wait to resume our relationship.

    AGE 24.

    • Big news! Big f+kin news! Ok the sad news first…my parents got crashed in a construction site accident, and the arsehole Armandos wouldn’t take responsibility, but we received a parcel… inviting us to the House Of Esposito, where The Outfit mobsters stay.

    • Invited to pack the Armando family money. Seems like a trap, and highly impossible, but what if it’s not? Then we can get the money… I’ll tell Ginny and Robert to escape on their own and leave me trapped in the clan estate. Maybe I’ll finally meet and protect the boy for once.

    • I know it’s stupid, but I’m desperate! To save my parents and meet the boy.

    • Final resolution, we’ve decided to go for it! Wish me well, dear diary.

After that point, the eventual pages were empty. She wrote nothing for four more pages. Then after four pages, she wrote again.

That must be three years ago when Erica and Leroy were released.

    AGE 28.

    • Hello, diary. I’m turning 29 soon, can’t believe it actually. I’ve spent almost one year in the clan estate now, and things went completely different from how we planned it, but at least, we all achieved our goals after pains and sweat and tears. Our parents are with us and recuperating, and Leo? He’s….still alive.

    • Won’t lie, at first when we got trapped in the clan, I hated him cos no matter how much I tried to shake it off, he’s still the son of my father’s killer, but eventually, I shook it off.

    • I saw Monika once already… during the Panda Port mission. She’s just like I imagined. Dangerously beautiful, and obsessed with taking Leo out. I’m proud of myself that I was able to cover him from her. He was safe, and I hope I keep saving him.

    • Oh… he’s obsessed with keeping me alive too cos of Felicia. That man would enter fire to save me. Lol.

    • He’s a wicked bastard who’d take any route to get what he wants, but then I’ll only give him half of the blame cos he was brought up that way. I pity him, always. That man is empty inside, and I’m grateful to my mum for killing his mum. If not, he’d have been ruined him beyond repair.

    • We’re insanely close now, and something mad in my head is even telling me he’s got feelings for me. Sometimes,, I mistake my pity for feelings too, but no way. When I chose to love Hayden, I chose him wholeheartedly. Won’t suddenly fall for a man who touched me inappropriately at first. Won’t fall for an abuser even if he’s ready to change cos of me. Agreed, I enjoyed the s+× in the yacht, and I look forward to our next one, but that’s all there is to it. I enjoy the sexes.

    • Now he’s in Paris for honeymoon with Lissa, and I have to pretend for everyone around me that I miss him, but in my mind, Hayden rules. I know Hayden and I can never happen again cos I’ve been madly defiled by Leonardo now, but who says I’m not allowed to miss Hayden?

    AGE 29.

    • Who knew Leonardo was a romance geek? Lol. Spent billions on drones for me and bought me the most expensive gifts I’ve ever received. We went on a date, too, and oh…the second s+× happened. I loved it more than the first. He asked why I became a stuntwoman, and I couldn’t even tell him it was because of him. Loool. But what was that ting I felt in my chest when we hugged after the s+×? I’m not growing feelings, right?

    • Bury that part, the day is almost here. The day of the last mission is tommorow. Remember I told you I wanna continue staying with this Cooper family for life and never go to mother? I changed my mind. If I don’t go, Monika will never stop. If I don’t become a villain —a devil, this will never end. DEVIL ERA? HERE I COME.

The diary writings ended there, and after they finished reading, the diary fell from Ginny to the ground.

    She’s already shedding tears too.

Bacardi and Robert also read with them… even Emma.

“No…no she can’t do that…she can’t… You know what she’s trying to do someone please stop her!!!” Ginny cried loudly.

Bacardi didn’t even wait for Robert she dashed out of the house, and the rest ran after her.

They packed themselves in the car with her, and she zoomed off.

    [House Of Cokers’]

Leonardo has stopped the whippings now. He sat with Anthony and Felicia, and while he listened to Anthony’s words, the rest of the mob continued their celebration around.

“I know she sinned, but killing her would be too much…” Anthony said.

“After all you did to keep her alive?” Felicia added.

“I don’t care about my efforts, Felicia. She tried to kill me, I’m killing her today… right now.” Leonardo insisted.

    Bobby suddenly came over.

“Can we talk, brother?” He asked.

Leonardo followed him away without arguing, and almost immediately, intruders bursted into the estate.

The estate gate has been left open since yesterday, so they’ve been expecting, and their expectations weren’t short.

Monika came in with Marko and Renata, with the remaining Outfit mobsters behind them.

They entered in a full bunch, and the inside mobsters stood.

Sandra and Nino first, then Tierney and Stanley and the others, stretching to the back.

“We predicted this, and y’all are actually following predictions? How low.” Stanley muttered.

“When ops find themselves shorthanded individually, then they start linking up. Cliche.” Sandra added.

“You came today of all days…that’s a win…I’m not angry.” Tierney smiled.

“The Outfit, Crimson? I actually didn’t see this collaboration coming. Padrino Marko Vitale Esposito, aka, Madman of Calabria. Monika Crimson, aka the Poison Master. Renata Esposito, aka the three ally points in human form.” Nino smiled too, clapping.

Seeing where her daughter is tied, Monika gasped.

    “Joyce!”

She climbed over a table and tumbled intentionally to the ground.

The mobsters stayed still like they didn’t see her till she started running over the top.

They opened fire on her, but the Outfit mobsters opened fire too, following the orders of Renata and Marko.

Renata left Marko’s side, but his most trusted guard stayed with him, protecting him as Renata jumped into the Cokers’ mob and began tearing them off like sandpapers.

Within one minute, she killed three. Very fast and smooth with it. Her precision is insane.

No knife, no weapon in hand. With her bare hands, she scaled.

The fourth body hit the ground in front of her in another second.

By now, Monika is on the top where she’s currently unchaining Ivanna.

“I’m sorry for coming late, baby. So sorry I made you wait… Now watch as we take them all out ..”

Sandra rolled to that top and stabbed Monika’s calf.

Monika let out a pained yell.

Stanley joined Sandra, and he stabbed Monika’s thigh too.

Monika yelled out again, but she rolled the ring on her finger, releasing poisonous white mist into the atmosphere.

Sandra and Stanley rolled down, avoiding the poisonous air.

    Ivanna quickly held her breaths.

With bleeding leg, Monika came back to her and unchained her properly.

    The chains fell from her.

With their balaclavas on, Sandra and Stanley came back up.

This time, Ivanna joined the fight.

    FTM worked in her favor.

One second was all it took to knock Stanley and Sandra down.

They rolled down from that top, and Ivanna stood back to back with her mother.

Monika rolled another ring on her finger, releasing another mist.

The mobsters who’re too slow to hold their breaths inhaled it, and they fell dead easily.

Renata is wearing a nose mask also, so she just continued slaughtering the Cokers’ mob without caring.

Right now, Anthony and Felicia are far from the area.

Anthony took Felicia away immediately the entry happened actually. They stood beneath a tree.

“I think we should go back,” Felicia said suddenly, panicking as the yell of pains and cries reached their ears.

“No, Felicia. You’re pregnant with our child! If you inhale the slightest mist from Monika, the pregnancy goes down! We don’t want that!” Anthony refused, holding Felicia’s shoulders.

“Stay here, just stay here…” He said.

    “Where are you —”

Anthony was already leaving before she could get it.

    “Thony!!”

Back in the middle, the clash is still high.

Marko still stood where he stood with his most trusted guard.

    He’s spectating like an examiner.

Ivanna and Monika are still standing on top, back to back and looking at the rest with recalcitrance.

Renata is still busy slaughtering the Cokers’ mob without stopping. Their bodies lay layered around her.

But the mob is not idle too. Nino and Tierney, Stanley and Sandra and the rest. They took out tens and twenties of the Outfit mobsters.

“Get Leo out to me!!” Marko suddenly yelled, and immediately that yell happened, Anthony jumped into the center, crashing into Marko.

At the same time, Ivanna jumped down from the top, crashing into Renata madly.

Bobby took Leonardo to the Godfather’s office, and from there, they could hear the war ongoing outside. They expected it, so they didn’t act fazed.

“And the issue is?” Leonardo asked.

“I know you love me a lot as your little brother, and you never keep anything from me, that’s why I’m not gonna keep this. I wanna be plain with you.” Bobby replied.

    Leonardo was quiet.

“After you were connected to the life support three years ago, the surgeon had a brief discussion with me.” Bobby started.

    Leonardo just looked on.

“The bullets you were shot with… they’re wooden. Ivanna shot you with wooden bullets. Maybe her intention wasn’t death for you, but I thought you might start chasing her around again if you woke up and heard that, so I told the surgeon to restitch your wounds and make it look like gunshot wounds from real bullets…so that’s it.” Bobby explained.

    Leonardo was still silent.

But he’s now walking out of the office.

“Leo, you’re not mad, right? Leo fuckin wait!” Bobby exited too.

Back in the middle, both Marko and his most trusted guard are pummelling Anthony.

Anthony’s stamina is high, but nothing compared to Marko’s animalistic energy even with his hypoglycemia condition.

Anthony was brutally beaten, and he’s already bleeding, but Marko didn’t go without wounds either.

When Anthony’s teeth met his ear, he made sure to not let go till he pulled it off totally.

“Call in help! Call help!!” Marko yelled at his most trusted guard.

The guard dialled for help…both the allies and the Private Prison-guards.

But as he called, his request was rejected. Three damn times.

    No response.

    “What’s going on?” He muttered.

“Quit trying, did you really think you gathered so many alliances in space of two years? It’s an illusion I made y’all believe, fools. I made them agree to be your ally, but instead…they work for me… including your Private Prison-guards!” Leonardo snarled, coming in by the left.

    “The fûck!” The guard gasped.

Bobby blew a whistle behind Leonardo, and extra gates opened in the estate.

Meanwhile, Ivanna is still having it hot with Renata somewhere in that middle. They’re crushing each other.

Blow to blow, kick to kick, jab to jab and crazy rib hacks!

They’re both bleeding from the mouth and nose, but they still headbutted each other, and they both hit the ground, but Ivanna stood faster, getting on top of her.

“The main reason why you’re so jealous of Vera that you had to go use her identity to kill Santos is cos of the stupid FTM technique, right? You requested her to teach you, but she declined. You were full of rage. She taught her son that same technique, and your rage ballooned you incompetent bi+ch! Vera loved Santos, but you made him die with the believe that Vera killed him when you’re actually the mastermind! The snail-shaped ring is yours!!” Ivanna screamed, headbutting Renata for the third time.

Blood covered their faces, and Renata laughed on the ground.

But she was able to hurl Ivanna away, then she came on top instead.

“I am Renata! I’ve never wanted to be Vera! I have never!!!!!” She screamed maniacally, revealing a knife.

“No! All your life you’ve always wanted to be like her! Another truth? You also liked Santos! You liked my father! You wanted everything Vera wanted and had so you definitely liked him, but he didn’t even chose Vera! He chose Monika my mother cos Monika drugged him to sleep with her, and yet you killed him slut!!!” Ivanna yelled as Renata’s knife thrusted her by the side.

She bled, but she hurled Renata away too, coming on top again.

She removed the knife from her side and jammed it into Renata’s neck.

Renata bled, but she’s still laughing.

“Kill me! Do it if you can! Do it!!!!!!” She yelled. “Do I—”

She couldn’t say more, cos Ivanna thrusted the knife into her mouth next, then before she knew it, she snapped Renata’s neck.

    She snapped it totally.

Renata’s head turned till her face is on her back, and the back of her head is on her chest.

    She stopped breathing.

“Goodbye, three points,” Ivanna muttered under her breaths.

As the extra gates opened, the allies poured in with the Private Prison-guards, all on Leonardo’s side.

Marko was too stunned to act at first, but seeing it’s actually real, he moved with his guard and the remaining Outfit mobsters.

The fight resumed… hotter this time.

Leonardo, Sandra and Bobby against Marko alone.

Stanley, Nino, Tierney, rest of the mob and the allies…they faced the rest of the Outfit mobsters.

Within the first minute of the fight, Marko’s most trusted guard went down. A heavy punch from Leonardo to his neck took him out.

    Just one punch, he died.

Now Marko is left alone with his grandkids, and he has to rely on luck, so he fought back with one ear.

He was tough despite his condition.

He kept receiving hits from his grandkids.

    Punches from Leonardo,

    Kicks from Bobby,

Since Bacardi isn’t here, Sandra used two elbows….one for herself and one for Bacardi.

    She’s elbowing him.

    Round and round.

This moment, Monika decided it was finally time to act…now that they’re so engrossed in their fight.

She pulled out the gun she came with from it’s hostler.

She built the bullets herself. Big and long and poisonous. She soaked it in the white distillery poison from there years ago, so it’s concentrated.

    There’s no reverse, no antidote.

She loaded, set the nozzle, and aimed sharply for Leonardo.

“Goodbye, Leo.” She muttered, smiling as she pulled the trigger.

But she wasn’t expecting what took place after the pull.

The gun has two main nozzles, so two bullets flew out at once, but they didn’t touch Leonardo, cos someone covered him and took it.

Seeing the person, the gun fell from Monika, dropping soundly to the ground.

“Joyce!!!!!!!” She screamed her guts out, and that made everyone else stop, including the Coker siblings.

They turned back, seeing what just happened, Leonardo’s eyes widened.

But that smile is still on Ivanna’s face, and despite the fact that she has been shot, she’s still holding a gun.

She had snatched it from Tierney.

The gun is stretched to Monika, and as Monika began running to her, she shot with her remaining strength.

Monika got hit on the head, and the woman dropped with a sharp gasp.

Ivanna fell on her knees, tears sliding out of her eyes despite her smile.

“Let me, the product of rape… return to hell with my rapist mother,” she gasped, twice.

<Full Flashback, The Night Before The Mission Three Years Ago]

    [Cooper Family House, 7pm]

After enough warmups inside Leonardo’s private gym in his Citadel, Ivanna left the estate and came here for a purpose known to just her.

She stepped into the terrace, picked the door key and opened the front door, stepping into the house.

She didn’t bother turning on the lights. She walked in the darkness like that, and she didn’t stumble for once till she arrived at her room.

She carried a box down from the top of her wardrobe. It’s a box containing her valuables, can only be opened by her own fingerprint.

She opened it, and the only thing inside the box is a smaller box.

    Black, old, prehistoric.

She stared at it for a beat, malice glinting in her empty eyes.

    Then…she removed her necklace.

Using the key pendant, she opened the box. It slid open easily.

    Too easily.

She picked out a folded old letter from inside, and she rubbed the edges with the tip of her fingers.

She has been keeping this since she grew up to know how to read.

According to Erica and Leroy, it was found in the basket with her that day on the river.

A letter, from her real mother.

Ivanna has read it countless times, and now she knows it word for word without even looking, but she opened and letter anyways, reading the short sentence.

    • WHEN YOU GROW UP, BABY, FIND LEONARDO ESPOSITO. HIS FAMILY IS THE CAUSE OF OUR PREDICAMENT. TRAP HIM, KILL HIM! I’LL KILL THE MOTHER. IF IT’S DESTINED, WE’LL MEET AGAIN. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, JOY.

Ivanna’s glinting eyes looked up again….more dangerous this time.

    She smiled darkly…

“He’s already trapped, mother. Now he’s dying by my hands, tommorow.”

Then she stood from the bed and walked to the window, staring out.

“To you, mother. To you, he’s gonna die. To the world, he’d be dead. Tommorow, I’ll become a devil…a villain… But I hope he returns stronger to conquer his ops.” She muttered, opening her palm to check the wooden bullets.

She took a deep breath and shut her eyes tightly.

                       <Present Time>

    All eyes are wide now.

Ivanna is still on her knees. The two bullets hit her stomach actually, and all her blood is nearly gone.

As blood pumped out of her mouth, she looked down at her shot stomach.

The stomach is destroyed by the bullets completely. She’s seeing two of her intestines peeking out already.

    She smiled again.

    “This feels so good,”

Then, Bacardi and Robert and the rest ran inside.

    Their eyes widened too.

    “Joy….” Leonardo’s voice broke.

He moved from where he stood.

Ivanna fell from her knees, and she started going down lifelessly.

“She became a stuntwoman cos of you!!!!” Bacardi shouted in tears.

“Joy!!!… No….. Joy!!!!!!!!!!!!” Leonardo let out an earth-shattering shriek as he began running…..

    To her lifeless body.

    TBC.

    The Wolf King’s Omega – Episode 17&18

(Bound by moon, betrayed by fate)

    By Midnight Sparkles

     ♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤

Elin woke early, before the sun rose. She dressed quietly so she wouldn’t wake the others and slipped out of the room. She already knew where Lyra would be.

Lyra stood alone in the storage room, sleeves rolled up, hair tied back. She was sorting jars of herbs and bags of grains like Ronan asked. The room smelled like dust and dried plants.

When she heard soft footsteps, Lyra looked up. Her eyes widened a little when she saw Elin.

    “What are you doing here?”

Elin grinned. “Helping you. The elders are doing prayer this morning. Nobody noticed I left.”

Lyra blinked. “You could get in trouble.”

“Only if someone finds out,” Elin said proudly, lifting a basket onto the table.

Lyra didn’t smile often, but she did now. “You don’t have to help me.”

“I want to. Sorting grain all morning alone sounds boring.”

Lyra shook her head softly but didn’t argue. She handed Elin a stack of folded cloth bags.

    “Then take these,” she said.

Elin began counting herbs and tying bags closed. She worked fast for someone so young. The room was quiet at first, then Elin started humming a tune.

Lyra glanced at her. “What song is that?”

“One I made up,” Elin said. “It’s terrible.”

    “It is not terrible.”

Elin giggled. “Yes it is. You just don’t know music.”

Lyra rolled her eyes gently, and Elin laughed more.

Elin talked while they worked, nothing important at first. Small things. Her twin sister Alin. The noisy kitchen rooster. How she once tripped in front of a warrior and pretended she meant to kneel.

Lyra listened quietly, sometimes shaking her head, sometimes giving a soft “hmm” like she couldn’t believe some of the things Elin said.

At one point Elin whispered like sharing a secret, “You know, you look scary when you’re quiet.”

    Lyra blinked. “Scary?”

“Yes,” Elin said seriously. “Like a sad ghost that might bite people.”

Lyra stared at her. Then, slowly, she let out a tiny laugh.

Elin gasped dramatically. “You laughed! I did it. I made the quiet maid laugh.”

Lyra shook her head again. “You are strange.”

“I know,” Elin said proudly. “It’s my best quality.”

They kept working like that, side by side. Counting jars. Folding cloth. Laughing softly here and there.

Lyra felt… less alone. Even if she didn’t say it.

Elin reached up to grab an old wooden box from the top shelf. “You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng” It was dark with dust and looked untouched for years. When she pulled it down, it slipped from her hands and hit the floor with a dull thud.

    The lid cracked open.

Inside, folded in old cloth, lay a small silver crest. It had a royal wolf carved into it, head raised to the moon. The symbol shimmered even under dust.

Elin frowned. “What is that? It looks… important.”

Lyra stared at it. Her chest tightened for a second, though she didn’t know why. Something about it felt familiar, like a memory she couldn’t reach.

“I don’t know,” she said quietly.

Elin reached toward it, but Lyra gently put a hand over hers. “Do not touch it. This belongs to nobles. Or royalty.”

Elin pulled her hand back fast. “Why would it be hidden here?”

Before Lyra could answer, footsteps sounded in the doorway.

Ronan entered, carrying a parchment. He stopped when he saw the opened box on the floor and the crest inside. His eyes narrowed slightly, but he didn’t raise his voice.

“Where did that come from?” he asked.

Elin pointed at the shelf. “It fell when I pulled the box down.”

Ronan stepped closer, looked at the crest only for a moment, then carefully closed the lid. He lifted it and placed it higher, out of sight.

“Forget you saw it,” he said calmly. “It is not for servants to question.”

Elin nodded quickly. Lyra just lowered her gaze.

Ronan’s eyes flicked to the neatly sorted supplies, then back to the two girls. “Good work.”

Elin beamed, proud of herself. Lyra looked down again, unsure how to react.

Ronan’s voice softened just slightly. “Both of you.”

Before he could say more, hurried footsteps echoed down the hall. The door swung open and Alin appeared, face pale.

Her eyes widened when she saw Elin and Lyra together.

“Elin!” she hissed. “I told you…”

Her voice cut off when she noticed Ronan standing there. She dropped into a quick, shaky bow.

    “S-sir, I didn’t know… I wasn’t…”

Ronan raised one eyebrow. “Is there a problem?”

Alin shook her head fast. “No. No problem. I… I came looking for my sister.”

Her voice trembled. She wouldn’t look at Lyra, only at the floor.

Ronan didn’t push it. “She is working. Let her finish.”

    “Yes, sir,” Alin whispered.

Ronan turned to Lyra. “Continue. I will return later.”

    Then he walked out.

As soon as he was gone, Alin grabbed Elin’s arm, whispering sharply, panic in her tone.

“What are you doing? You cannot be seen with her. People are talking. Do you want trouble?”

Elin pulled her arm away. “I don’t care.”

“You should,” Alin snapped, voice breaking a little.

Lyra stood silent, watching them. Alin’s fear wasn’t anger anymore, it was real worry.

“Elin, please,” Alin whispered. “Stop before it gets bad.”

Elin didn’t answer. She looked at Lyra instead.

Lyra didn’t speak either. She simply went back to folding cloth.

Elin hesitated, then stayed beside her anyway.

Alin stared at them for two seconds longer, eyes full of fear and frustration, then turned and walked out quickly.

Lyra and Elin worked in silence for a while after Alin left, and even Elin didn’t try to talk again. They folded sheets, stacked cloth and cleaned shelves.

Then the sound of light footsteps came down the hallway.

Both girls looked up at the same time.

Althea, the Queen Mother, walked past the open doorway. She wore deep blue silk, and her hair was pinned with silver. She always moved calmly, like she owned every room she stepped into.

She didn’t look inside first, she never did. Servants didn’t matter to her.

    But something made her pause.

She stopped right at the door. Then, slowly, she turned her head.

    Her gaze landed on Lyra.

She did not blink. She did not speak. She just stared.

Lyra froze, hands gripping the cloth in front of her. Her heart thudded hard.

    Elin held her breath.

Althea’s eyes narrowed a little, searching Lyra’s face. For a moment, it felt like she was trying to remember something.

Lyra lowered her head, afraid to meet her gaze too long.

Althea’s fingers twitched at her side. Then she blinked once and straightened again.

“You. Raise your head,” she said coldly.

Lyra obeyed slowly. Their eyes met again.

Althea studied her one more second,

    Then she simply turned away.

    “Continue your work.”

She walked off without another word. Her steps faded down the hall, and silence filled the room again.

Elin let out a shaky breath. “She never stops for servants,” she whispered.

Lyra didn’t answer. She felt strange, heavy, unsettled, like something inside her had shifted just a little.

    But she didn’t care anyways.

Scarlett rolls her eyes ” right ”

” So when am I seeing Aiden ”

” You will see him when his school is on holiday” Scarlett said walking away

        ” Let’s go now , I’ve lot of things to do “

Crystal groans ” me too , I wish you were still in the finance department ”

” Same here dear ” Scarlett said sighing

    They leave the restroom

    CEO OFFICE

Scarlett slips into the office as quietly as she could, Crystal gossip delayed her from arriving sooner .

She stops dead in shock , Liam wasn’t the only one in the office.. Camilla was was sitting on his laps , her head was on his chest while his protective arms was wrapped around her .

Scarlett puts her hands behind her back to hide it’s trembling, her heart was numb .. she felt nothing but a void that can’t be filled anymore. She bows stiffly and turns to leave

” Oh don’t let us disturb you , pls seat ” Camilla said smirking and snuggles closer to Liam who was watching her with no expression on his face

Scarlett bites her lips blinking back her tears , it looked like yesterday when she was in his arms with no care in the world .

” Of course ma’am” she said bowing again and goes to seat on her chair , avoiding Liam’s intense gaze on her .

Camilla smirks enjoying the hurt on her face , it was a good idea to come here after she complained to Liam’s mom and she scolded the hell out of him making him let her glue to his body .

” Oh pls don’t be offended” Camilla said standing up and leans on the desk like a boss lady

” I need a cup of coffee like right now , hot one pls ”

Scarlett folds her fist angrily, great now this brat is turning her to an errand girl

       ” Of course ma’am”

She stands up reluctantly and leaves

Camilla chuckles ” bae she’s really useful, I think it’s a great idea not to fire her ”

He ignored her and turns on his laptop making himself busy with it

She frowns , he is back to his old behavior looks like mom didn’t scold him enough.

Scarlett enters inside and hands her the coffee

      ” Here it is ma’am”

She takes it and sips but spits it out

” What kind of bitter coffee is this , I asked for a coffee not a bitter medicine ”

Camilla said angrily and empties the cup on her shirt .

Scarlett gasps in shock , the coffee stained her white shirt while the rest poured on her hands , the hot coffee burned her hand instantly.

       ” Ouch ouch ”

She whimpers in pain , the tears she was holding since was threatening to fall

” Get me a new one what are you waiting for ” Camilla said smirking

Scarlett leaves hurriedly not wanting to break down in their front .

Few minutes later she walks back in .

Her head bent and she drops the coffee table

” Is this one okay ma’am” she said almost whispering

Camilla scoffs and eyes the coffee, she deliberately tried to annoy her so she can find an opportunity for Liam to fire her but it did not work .

        ” You can go ”

Scarlett bows and heads back to her desk trying to ignore the burning pain in her hand.

” Leave miss blackwood, I don’t need you here ” Liam said coldy .

She looks at him surprise was he dismissing her from work

” I believe you ain’t deaf , pack your things and leave lady , you’re done for today ” Camilla adds smirking

Scarlett nods and turns away, packed up her things and left not sparing any of them a glance .

Liam gaze lands on Camilla who was still smiling in triumph

” Camila this is the your last warning don’t mistreat my employee again ”

She looks at him surprised, she wasn’t expecting him to scold her for what she just did cause he was quiet the entire time .

” Why is it because she’s your ex ”

He smirks and focus back on his laptop ” you’ve overstayed your welcome, leave now ”

Camilla gasps ” are you chasing me out because of your ex , liam I’m your fiancee ”

” I don’t like repeating myself Milla , you and I both know that I can’t love you but you still cling to me like a leech , stop using Scarlett as an excuse”  he said

” Mom must hear of this ” she said angrily and storms outside

    BUS TERMINAL

Scarlett stood like a ghost ignoring all the buses that stopped at her front , she was lost in her own world of hurt …

° Liam you’re so going to regret everything you did to me … ° she thought feeling her tears fall freely, the pain in her hand can’t match the one in her heart .

The weather changed and rain kissed everyone without umbrellas

Scarlett looks up in the sky enjoying the cold rain drop on her face , yeah she was still crying.

The rain soaked her clothes relieving the pain in her hand but it did nothing to the one in her heart .

” Liam should I just take Aiden to you so all this pain I’m going through can stop … “You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng” I don’t think I can bear this any more ” she said cleaning her tears but more still came .

Somewhere in the traffic jam Caspian sat lazily in his car seat , scrolling at articles on his tablet…

” Damn this traffic jam is hectic” he mutters wishing his driver wasn’t an old man so he would be able to manover all this cars and not stick to one lane like some saint .

He looks through the window going gently to the dream world .

His eye snaps open as he sees a familiar figure in the rain . ..

” No way ” he mutters

” Stop the f+king car ” he said almost yelling.

Scarlett stood in the rain not making a move to find somewhere to dry herself, she hugs herself shivering..

She suddenly felt something above her head shielding her from the rain . looking up to see Caspian holding an umbrella for her as he stared at her intensely

” Oh it’s you again ” she smiled wearily

He takes in her appearance, the stained white shirt that was clinging to her body because it was soaked and his eyes didn’t miss the scald on her left hand even though she tried to hide it.

” Lemme take you somewhere safe and warm , like that cafe across the road ”

Scarlett nods not objecting , she was literally freezing and needed something warm .

He leads her to the cafe and seats her down .

°what in the world happened to her ° he thought folding his fist angrily watching as she hugs her arms

” You might get a cold ” he mutters

       She smiles ” it’s okay , I’ll take medicine once I get home ”

Caspian sighs and orders a hot cup of Americano for her and a first aid kit to treat her scald.

” So do you mind telling me how you got this ” he said applying ointment gently on it , her small hands fitted perfectly in his and he smiled lightly

She smiles nervously as she sips  the drink ” oh this , it was just an accident, clumsy me ”

” Hmm ” he said not believing her one bit

He bandages the arm carefully not to hurt her and seats up watching her like she was his favorite tv show

Scarlett shifts nervously in her seat , she didn’t like the way he was staring at her

” Why are you looking at me like that Caspian ”

        ” I like you ”

      ” Uh ”

” Yes I like you ” he repeated ignoring the shocked look on her face

She shakes her head in disbelief” but you don’t know me ”

      ” It doesn’t matter ”

Scarlett smiles sadly wishing her heart could fall for him , he seems like a nice person but this stupid and stubborn heart of heart refused but still trips whenever she sees Liam .

         ” I’m sorry Caspian but I don’t feel the same way ”

He holds her hand ” you don’t have to , I’ll make sure you fall for me”

She shakes her head ” I’ve a son Caspian and he is four … He is the best thing that has happened to me , he is my everything so falling in love is impossible”

Ignoring the shocked and pale look on his face she continued

” I’ll like it if you dismiss any thought of seeing or using me as a tool to bring Liam down , I’m aware he’s your rival so leave me out of your plans … Thank you for treating my wounds ” She said and leaves

Caspian still stunned blocks her way

” If I can’t be the one you love let me at least be a father to your son ”

       ” What ! ”

Bluey and Hades sat opposite each other at the round glass table, their eyes locked like two predators sizing each other up.

Around them, students gathered in a wide circle, their murmurs rising and falling like waves, everyone curious but careful not to stand too close.

The rule was simple, no one interferes, no one cheats.

A student stepped forward, holding a sleek black deck of cards. He bowed slightly before shuffling them, his fingers moving fast and precise.

The sound of the cards snapping together echoed through the hall. Then, he divided the deck into two equal piles and slid one half toward Bluey, the other to Hades.

Bluey leaned back, her arms crossed loosely, a small, nervous smile touching her lips. Hades mirrored her posture, only his smirk was arrogant, dangerous.

“This game is called Death Pair. Each player will draw a card per round. You may look at your cards, but only play one card per round. Once you place it face down, it cannot be changed.”

He paused, glancing at both of them.

“The highest number wins the round. Both cards used are then cancelled, and a point goes to the winner. Player with the highest points after last drawn card wins the game.”

A murmur spread through the spectators.

“Let’s start,” Hades said quietly, his gaze locked on her like a hawk eyeing prey.

They both placed their first card faced down on the table.

Bluey’s fingers trembled slightly as she reached for her card. She flipped it.

    7 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬.

Hades leaned back, a faint, taunting smile on his lips as he slowly turned his own card over.

    𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬.

A collective murmur ran through the hall.

    💬 “He’s toying with her already…”

    💬 “Bluey doesn’t stand a chance.”

Hades’ smile deepened, though there was no amusement in his eyes, only something darker.

“One point for me,” He murmured, his voice low, and cruel.

Bluey swallowed, forcing her trembling hand to steady as they went for the second round.

    She flipped her next card.

    𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐬.

Hades’ eyes stayed fixed on her face, not the table, as he flipped his own card—slowly, deliberately.

    𝐀𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛𝐬.

    Her breath hitched.

“Two wins in a row,” Hades said softly, eyes burning into hers. “Looks like luck’s on my side.”

The crowd leaned closer, the air thick with silence and tension.

Bluey swallowed, her fingers trembling slightly as they both picked up their next cards.

“Did someone threaten you to stay away from me?” Hades’ voice came, his gaze didn’t leave her face.

“No… I mean… it’s just the right thing to do.”

    Bluey looked down, heart pounding.

“The right thing?” Hades leaned forward, elbows resting on the table. “But I don’t want to stay away from you. I seriously can’t. Let’s just stop this.”

“No. Please.” She shook her head, her voice quivering. “I’m doing this because…”

“Because your parents work for the Sinclairs,” Hades cut in coldly. “And automatically you think your loyalty lies with them?”

“How do you know?”Her eyes widened.

“I know everything about you, Bluey,” Hades said, his voice a low growl that slid right beneath her skin.

    “Every. Single. Thing.”

The student dealer looked between them nervously. “Flip your cards.”

Bluey exhaled shakily and turned hers.

    𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬

Hades turned his — 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬

    Another win for him.

The crowd murmured. Bluey’s hands clenched tighter around her remaining cards, trying not to let him see her falter.

Hades’ lips curled faintly. “You can keep pretending, Bluey. But every move you make tells me you still feel something for me. Deep down, you can’t stay away from me either.”

     “You’re wrong.”Her pulse spiked.

     “Am I?”He smirked.

They reached for their next cards.

Bluey flipped hers — 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐬

Hades turned his — 𝐀𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬

The audience gasped softly. Four straight wins.

He leaned back slowly, eyes fixed on her, voice barely above a whisper but heavy enough to drown her.

Minutes later, the tension had thickened like smoke.

The scoreboard flickered on the holographic display: 25 : 25

    A tie.

    One card left each.

The crowd was restless, the air charged with nerves and excitement.

    💬 “I’m so nervous.”

💬 “Who do you think will win?”

    💬 “Someone’s about to get expelled…”

Hades’ grip on his final card tightened. His jaw flexed, his expression unreadable. Throughout this game, he just felt so irritated to be doing this shit with her and she kept pissing him off.

“I…” He began, his voice hoarse, strained. “I wish I never met you.”

Bluey’s chest clenched. She bit her lower lip hard, fighting back the sting in her throat.

“Flip,” The student dealer announced quietly.

Both their hands moved at once.

    The cards hit the table.

    Bluey — 3 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬

    Hades — 2 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬

Gasps rippled through the entire hall.

    💬 “Hades actually lost?”

    💬 “No way…”

    💬 “Lucky f+king her!”

Hades’ body went rigid. His eyes dark and storming. Slowly, he stood, the scrape of his chair echoing through the dead silence.

The students immediately parted, forming a clear path for him to walk through.

The overhead voice echoed through the den:

🔊 Player 090 won the gambling against Player 001. 50 Sigils will be added to your points instead if 10 for beating an Ace level player.

Bluey’s breath trembled. She looked at him,  wanting to say something, anything… but Hades didn’t look back.

    —–

Bluey sat quietly on the bench in the dim hallway, her hands clasped together, her heartbeat still uneven from what had just happened.

Her hair fell over her face, strands sticking to her cheeks from the faint sheen of sweat and tears she wouldn’t admit to.

    “Here.”

She looked up. Zayne stood in front of her, offering a cold bottle of water.

“Thanks,” She murmured, taking it softly.

He watched her for a moment before sitting beside her, elbows resting on his knees.

“You should be happy,” He said finally. “Everything went your way.”

“I know. But I feel… kind of sad.”Bluey twisted the bottle cap and took a sip, staring at the floor.

    “’Cause you’re gonna miss him?”

She turned sharply. Nia was walking toward them with Loci and Natalie, each of them holding drinks from the vending machine.

“Miss him?” Bluey echoed, her voice small.

“It’s obvious,” Nia said, grinning as she sat across from her. “Girl, I still can’t believe he said that. ‘It’s going to kill me if I stay away from you.’ Ugh, I got chills.”

“Maybe…” Natalie began, leaning on the wall with her arms crossed. “Maybe Hades really likes her.”

“It doesn’t matter anymore. I already decided to stay away from him.” Bluey shook her head quickly.

Loci tilted his head, sliding his hands into his pockets.

“But are you serious right now? You actually bet your entire Sigils on him? What if you lost and got expelled?”

     “I knew he…. I knew I wouldn’t loose.”Bluey gave a small, bitter smile.

“You’re so dramatic. You literally beat Hades , the untouchable ace of MIA  and you’re sitting here looking like you lost.” Nia said.

“Maybe I did,” Bluey whispered, more to herself than to them.

Hades, Hugo, and Hyce were approaching the Aces Training Arena.

Hades felt… empty. He didn’t know how to feel.

“Hades, seriously? Why’d you let her win?” Hyce asked, his tone half curious, half frustrated.

“Let her win? How’s that possible?” Hugo shot back, brows furrowing.

Hyce scoffed. “Didn’t you notice? He was deliberately playing out his highest cards first. He’s a pro at these things, and I’m sure he let her win on purpose.”

Hugo stopped walking and stood in front of him. “Hades, is that true?”

“I couldn’t stand her leaving MIA. I was just going to ignore her even if I let her win, but now… I don’t know.”Hades looked away.

“But it’s a game of luck,” Hugo said. “How did you—”

“It’s not luck,” Hades interrupted. His voice was calm but sharp.

“Every card in a deck has a pattern, its edges, its feel, its order. Most people just see faces and numbers, but I see what’s missing. I know which cards have already been played, which ones are still in the deck. I’ve been doing this for years, you should know me by now. I could have beaten her if I wanted to.”

“Then why didn’t you?” Hugo asked.

“Because she put everything on the line. Her sigils, her spot at MIA… everything. I saw the look in her eyes—she wasn’t bluffing. She was ready to lose everything just to prove she didn’t need me.”Hades gave a humorless smile.

He looked away, his tone darkening.

“I didn’t want to crush that part of her. So I let her play it her way. Maybe I wanted her to win… maybe I wanted to see what she’d do once she didn’t have anything to do with me anymore.”

Hyce scoffed lightly, trying to hide his sympathy. “And now?”

Hades exhaled slowly. “Now it feels like I lost something I didn’t even realize I wanted to keep.”

She doesn’t know what will happen to her if she leaves here. Did she really think she was getting out here alive? Hades thought inwardly.

    **

They walked into the Aces Training Arena, the air thick with the scent of sweat and metal.

Morgan was already there, tying her hair into a sleek ponytail while Trevor leaned lazily against a punching bag, twirling a training stick between his fingers.

“Look who showed up,” Trevor smirked. “I heard you lost a game. You broke your own record.”

Hades’s eyes lifted to him, dark and empty. “I am not in the mood, so while I’m being nice—shut that fussy mouth of yours, Trevor.”

Trevor blinked but backed off instantly. Everyone in the room could feel it—the shift in Hades’s energy.

Morgan clapped her hands once to get everyone’s attention.

“Alright, listen up. Before we begin, there’s a little update. Bluey is officially one of my lackeys, which means no one touches her, no one goes near her… except Trevor.”

“Wait—why does that piece of information matter?” Hugo asked, folding his arms.

“Of course it matters. For a certain somebody here.”Morgan’s lips curved.

Her gaze flicked to Hades, who didn’t even look her way. Instead, he pulled off his shirt, revealing the tattoos across his shoulders.

“I’ll be back,” Hades muttered to the instructor, his voice steady but distant. “One of my glove is missing.”

And without waiting for a response, he turned and walked toward the inner room, leaving an uneasy silence behind him.

    ***

Hades stepped into the inner room, the door closing behind him with a heavy thud that echoed through the silence.

The dim light flickered above him, casting shadows across the floor as he leaned against the wall, his jaw tight.

His reflection in the glass cabinet stared back at him—cold, lost, furious.

“How can you make me fall in love with you and break me like this?” He muttered under his breath, his voice rough, trembling with suppressed rage.

He ran a hand through his hair, pacing once before stopping mid-step.

Every muscle in his body felt heavy, his chest burning with something that wasn’t just pain—it was longing and helplessness all tangled together.

He knew if he wanted to, if he truly decided to, no one could stop him from having her. Not the Aces, not MIA, not even Bluey herself.

But the problem was… he didn’t want to force it on her.

So instead, he crouched down slowly, his elbows resting on his knees, his head hanging low. His breath came out shaky, almost a laugh but not quite.

“I hate you, Bluey…” He whispered, his eyes stinging. “I hate you so much.”

But deep down, he knew that every word was a lie.

“Good morning, Madam First Lady!” one of the staff greeted as Iris stepped into the marble-floored lobby, her heels clicking sharply against the surface.

“Madam Iris, welcome!” another said with a respectful bow.

💬 “Madam first lady, so elegant as always.”

    💬 “Does she ever age?”

💬 “She’s getting younger every day.”

💬 “Her aura alone makes the whole place brighter.”

She smiled faintly but didn’t stop. Her security detail opened the double doors leading to the President’s office, and she entered without hesitation.

Behind the mahogany desk, Robert was focused on signing a few official documents, brows furrowed in concentration.

The soft rustle of papers filled the silence until her voice cut through it.

    “Darling.”

He looked up immediately. Iris was already walking toward him, elegance in every step.

Before he could rise, she leaned in and sat on his thighs, pulling her closer as their lips met in a deep, familiar kiss that softened the edges of his day.

“Do you have somewhere to be?” Robert asked, setting his pen aside and leaning back in his chair.

“I’m going to the rural villa today to support the development program,” Iris replied, adjusting her purse strap. “I mean, it’s my program after all.”

“Anthony and Corazon will be there,” Robert reminded her, his tone carrying a hint of concern.

“Are you seriously worried about them?” She chuckled softly. “Don’t worry, I’m not going to pick a fight with anyone, unless they ask for it.”

He sighed, standing up and walking over to her. “Just be careful, darling. I don’t want anything to happen to you, okay?”

“Okay,” She said with a teasing smile. “You’re so sweet and overprotective.”

“Of course I am. I love you so much,” he murmured, brushing a hand down her arm before pressing a kiss to her forehead.

“I’ll be leaving now. Just dropped by to see you,” Iris said, giving him one last smile before heading for the door.

The Penalty Zone was a dark, concrete fortress buried deep beneath the main facility.

The air was thick with dampness, and every sound carried, footsteps, whispers, even the faint drip of water echoing like a slow, cruel countdown.

In one of the narrow cells, Dawn sat curled on the floor. Her eyes were red and swollen, her throat raw from crying.

She had been dragged here hours ago, screaming and begging, until her voice gave out. Now, she just sat, empty, shaking, her breath visible in the freezing air.

The temperature never rose above nine degrees. It was designed that way. To weaken, to punish.

Her singlet and shorts clung to her skin, as she shook due to the colf. Her arms were wrapped tightly around her knees, but the chill sank deep, gnawing at her bones.

Then she heard it—the sound of boots on concrete. Slow. Heavy. Getting closer.

Her head shot up, eyes darting to the bars. The faint light from the corridor stretched across the floor as a tall shadow appeared.

    Hugo.

He unlocked the cell door, the clang echoing down the hall. “You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng” The moment she saw him, something desperate flared inside her.

She stumbled to her feet and ran toward him, her voice breaking.

    “Hugo please—”

The sound of the slap cracked through the silence before she could finish.

Her head snapped to the side, the force slamming her against the metal bars. Pain exploded across her cheek as she gasped, a choked cry slipping past her lips.

For a second everything spun. The cold bit harder.

Dawn’s cheek still burned from the slap, but she swallowed her pain, forcing herself to look up at him. Her lips trembled as she whispered.

     “I’m sorry.”

    Hugo’s expression hardened.

“Who gave you the right to think you can slap me, huh?” His voice cut through the cold air like a blade, sharp and dangerous.

Tears spilled down her face as she took a cautious step closer, her voice breaking.

“I’m sorry,” she repeated, softer this time, trembling. “I love you so much, Hugo. I was angry and heartbroken when you dumped me. I didn’t know what to do.”

Her fingers twisted in the hem of her shorts, desperation written all over her.

“Why, Hugo? Why can’t you love me back? Why do you only see me as a slut?”

Hugo grasped Dawn’s chin firmly, lifting her face to meet his eyes.

“Please, Hugo… love me back.”She pleaded with trembling lips, desperation clear in her voice.

He leaned in slowly and kissed her, his lips finally returning the affection she craved. For a moment, it felt like everything was right.

But then he pulled away, his eyes darkening with disgust as he stared at her.

“Do you want me to take you back?” Hugo asked coldly.

“Yes, Hugo,” Dawn whispered, her voice breaking.

“Face the wall,” Hugo commanded, pulling out his belt.

He gently slid down her training shorts and gave her ass a firm, deliberate spank. His fingers traced along thighs and he dipped it straight into her cunt, a teasing smirk playing on his lips.

“I’m about to punish you, and you’re getting wet?” Hugo said lowly.

A sharp smack from the belt landed on her as$, making her cry out, the sting quickly soothed by his palm as he tenderly rubbed the area.

    Another lash followed.

“F+k, Hugo!” She gasped, a mix of pain and desire in her voice.

“You’re so n+ughty.” He said, spanking her a×s again with his palm.

He spanked her again, palming her cunt as two fingers slipped inside her, moving in and out roughly.

    “Yessss!!”

In that moment, wave after wave of release overtook her, her body trembling as she gave in to the intense sensation washing over her.

Hugo leaned in close to her ear, his voice cold and cutting.

“See my exact reason for not ever going to love you? You’re a cheap-a$s slu+, and I hate it.” With that, he straightened up and walked away, slipping on his belt.

“Go back to your dorm. I already told Hades to cancel your punishment,” He added over his shoulder before leaving the room.

Alone, Dawn whispered bitterly to herself, “Dawn, you’re so stupid.”

It was midday at the large compound, with the Spade and Hearts dorms facing each other.

Trevor lounged back on the bench beside Morgan, Gomez, and Juniper, their relaxed postures masking the tension in the air.

Natasha, Aris, and Bryan walked up, each wearing that familiar smirk of arrogance.

“You sent for us, Morgan?” Natasha asked, folding her arms.

Morgan crossed one leg over the other, her gaze sharp. “Yes. I want you to find Bluey… and drag her here.”

Aris tilted her head slightly, her grin widening. “Just to be sure, you didn’t say bring, you said… drag, right?”

“Exactly,” Morgan replied smoothly. “That’s why I love you three.”

“Say less,” Bryan muttered with a cruel smile, pushing off the wall. “Let’s go.”

The three of them turned and left, their footsteps echoing across the quiet compound.

“So you’re now her new master? I thought Hades was all over her,” Juniper said with a teasing grin, tilting her head toward Morgan.

“All over her, my foot,” Morgan scoffed.

“That stupid poor girl doesn’t know her place. To think she even got the opportunity to study at MIA because of my parents’ money and she has the audacity to talk to my mortal enemy? I’m just getting started with her.”

“So she told Hades to stay away from her, and he actually agreed? Just like that?” Gomez asked, leaning forward.

“What’s Hades gonna do? You all give him too much credit. It’s not like he actually cares about her.”Trevor snorted.

“But a lot of people were saying he indirectly confessed his feelings for her during the gambling den this morning.” Juniper added, eyes glinting with curiosity.

“Indirectly? Hades in love?” Morgan laughed coldly.

“Oh, please. He was probably just playing her. And as expected, he’s already done with her. She really thought getting his attention would protect her from me?”

“So what are you going to do to her?” Gomez asked.

Morgan smirked, resting her chin on her palm. “Just wait and watch.”

Minutes later, Aris and Bryan came dragging Bluey across the courtyard floor—literally.

Her knees scraped against the rough stone, her breath sharp as she struggled to pull free, but their grip was too strong. Natasha followed behind them, smirking with satisfaction.

Bluey had been on her way back to the dorm with Loci, Zayne, and Natalie when they  ambushed her.

Her friends tried to intervene, but everyone knew the rule—no one interfered when the Aces were involved.

They stopped right in front of where Morgan, Trevor, Gomez, and Juniper were lounging.

With one harsh shove, Bryan pushed Bluey forward, and she stumbled to her knees.

“Now that’s how you make an entrance,” Trevor said lazily, leaning back in his seat.

“Long time no see, Bluey,” Morgan cooed, crossing one leg over the other with a cruel smile.

“Morgan, what is all this? What did I do? I already stayed away from Hades like you asked me to,” Bluey stammered, her voice trembling.

“Awwn, is she crying already?” Morgan taunted, tilting her head mockingly.

“I haven’t even started.” She turned to Trevor. “Baby, any suggestions? She looks so fragile right now, like anything could literally kill her.”

“My ideas are way more brutal than yours.”

    Trevor smirked.

“I’ve got an idea,” Gomez cut in, standing with a dark grin.

He reached for Bluey, fisting a handful of her hair and yanking her back roughly, forcing a cry from her lips.

Then, as if bored, he released her and walked back to their table.

Two glass cups sat on a small stool between Morgan and Trevor. Gomez picked them up and, without a word, dropped them.

The glass shattered loudly, shards scattering across the ground—right in the space between Bluey’s knees and where they sat.

“I like this, Gomez,” Morgan purred, grinning. “You’re a bad boy.”

Gomez smiled faintly and sat down again.

“Come here, Bluey…” Morgan said softly, her tone dripping with mock sweetness.

Bluey hesitated, slowly starting to rise…

“On your knees,” Trevor snapped coldly.

    Her body froze.

Students began spilling out of their dorms, leaning over the corridors of Spade and Hearts, their eyes glued to the scene below.

Is she going to walk with her knees on broken glass? Some whispered. Some laughed quietly. Others just stared, waiting.

Down in the middle of the compound, Bluey knelt on the harsh floor, trembling.

Hades and Hyce turned the corner into the dorm grounds, their voices fading the moment the sight hit them.

The crowd instantly straightened. Every student around bowed their heads slightly in respect.

When they lifted their heads again, all eyes darted between Hades and Bluey.

Bluey’s heart stopped. She glanced up at him… just one word from him, one order, and it would all end.

But his face was dead ass cold.

“I thought I told you to do something,” Trevor’s sharp voice cut through the silence.

Bluey flinched and slowly began to move. On her knees, she started crawling forward, her body shaking as shards of glass bit into her knees.

Blood streaks marked every inch she passed. Her palms pressed down for balance, and blood welled up from the cuts instantly.

“Please… please, stop,” She gasped, her voice breaking as tears fell.

    💬 “She’s really doing it?”

💬 “Oh my God, her knees—”

    💬 “Won’t Hades say something?”

💬 “Didn’t she tell him to stay away from her this morning?”

💬 “Yeah, she did. Guess he’s really listening to her.”

Bluey whimpered as she dragged herself forward, the sound of broken glass grinding beneath her echoing across the compound.

Hades’ expression hardened. Hyce glanced at him, his eyes dark with unease.

    Still, Hades said nothing.

Without a word, he turned and started walking toward the entrance of Spades Dorm. Hyce followed silently behind him.

Every student standing there watched in tense silence as Bluey’s blood trailed behind her—while the one person who could have saved her walked away.

Hades pressed the passcode, the door slid open, and he stepped inside, silence filling the air. Hyce followed him in, slamming the door shut behind them.

“Seriously?!” Hyce’s voice cut through the quiet. “You’re just going to watch them bully her like that? What the hell was that, Hades?”

Hades didn’t answer. He tossed his jacket onto the couch, his expression unreadable as he walked toward the window.

“I thought you liked her,” Hyce continued, frustration rising. “You do, don’t you? Then why—why would you stand there and do nothing?”

Hades turned sharply, his tone cold but calm. “Because that’s what she wanted.”

    Hyce blinked, stunned.

“She told me to stay away. She made it clear she doesn’t want me near her,” Hades said, his voice low, edged with bitterness.

“So I’m respecting that. If she wants to suffer, if she wants to fight her own battles, then she can go ahead.”

“That’s bullshit, Hades. You know she didn’t mean it like that.”Hyce clenched his fists.

“Doesn’t matter what she meant,” Hades said flatly. “She said it and d I’m done being the one chasing after someone who doesn’t want me anymore.”

“You don’t care anymore? Is that what you’re saying?”Hyce scoffed, taking a step closer.

“I care,” Hades snapped, his composure finally cracking. “I care too damn much and that’s exactly the problem.”

He dragged a hand through his hair, his voice breaking slightly.

“If she needs help, she can ask for it. The same way she told me to stay away, she can use her own mouth to say ‘help me.’ Until then, I’m not moving a finger.”

    The air went heavy.

Hyce exhaled slowly, his anger fading into quiet disappointment.

“And what if she doesn’t ask for help, Hades? What if she’s too scared?”

That was it. Something in Hades snapped.

He turned around, eyes burning with a mix of rage and pain, his chest heaving as he shouted,

    “I’M HEARTBROKEN, OKAY?!”

    Hyce froze, silent.

“I’m f+king heartbroken,” Hades repeated, his voice cracking, anger bleeding into exhaustion.

“You think I don’t want to go down there and rip them all apart for touching her? You think I don’t want to? I was ready to give that girl my damn heart, Hyce. Something I’ve never done for anyone!”

He ran a hand through his hair, pacing, his voice trembling with fury.

“But she’s a coward. She’s a crybaby! She let people control her life, let fear eat her alive, and still has the audacity to tell me to stay away like I was the enemy.”

He slammed his hand against the wall.

“Does she really think she’ll survive MIA being that weak?! Her worst mistake was spouting that nonsense to me publicly and having the guts to challenge me to a game.  All she had to do was tell me what the problem was, and she wouldn’t be suffering right now!”

He stopped pacing, his shoulders shaking, the anger in his voice fading to quiet defeat.

“F+k…” He muttered, rubbing his face. “I’m tired, Hyce. Just leave me alone.”

Hyce stood still for a moment, watching Hades sink to the couch, his head buried in his hands.

The Rural Villa was a small, underdeveloped community located on the outskirts of the capital, surrounded by vast farmland and narrow dusty roads.

For years, the people there had struggled with limited access to healthcare, relying on visiting doctors and mobile clinics for help.

But now, thanks to the joint efforts of the First Lady’s office and the Senate’s Health Development Initiative, the construction of a new medical facility was already in progress.

For three days, the Villa Development Program was underway—a project spearheaded by First Lady Iris Villanova.

Teams of doctors, nurses, and volunteers were stationed under large white tents, conducting free health checkups, distributing medication, and registering families for future healthcare benefits.

The atmosphere buzzed with gratitude and excitement.

By mid-afternoon, the sound of applause echoed through the open field as Iris stepped onto the small stage set up near the construction site.

Cameras flashed and residents cheered. She smiled warmly before beginning her speech.

“Good afternoon, everyone,” Iris began, her voice clear and graceful.

“It fills my heart with pride to stand here today not just as your First Lady, but as someone who genuinely cares about the well-being of every citizen in this country. For too long, many of our communities have struggled with basic health needs. No family deserves to suffer because they cannot afford medical care.”

Her words drew approving murmurs from the crowd. She continued,

“This is not just a program; it’s a promise. A promise that every child, every mother, every elder in this community will have access to proper healthcare. I want to see families healthy, strong, and free from the fear of preventable illness. This hospital we are building will stand as a symbol of hope, progress, and compassion.”

The crowd erupted into applause, villagers standing to their feet, many calling out her name in gratitude.

Iris smiled, her poise unshaken, waving gently as the cameras zoomed in on her.

Then,  Anthony took the stage beside her.

“Thank you, Madam First Lady,” he said, glancing at Iris before turning to the residents.

“As your Senator, I am proud to stand alongside this initiative. The medical facility you see being constructed behind us will soon become a fully functional hospital. By the end of this year, you will no longer need to travel hours just to receive proper medical attention. This community deserves care—and we are here to make sure you get it.”

The residents applauded again, some wiping tears, others shouting their thanks. Children waved handmade flags, and elders bowed their heads in appreciation.

Corazon and Anthony moved between the medical tents, helping nurses organize supplies and check patient lists.

Corazon assisted an elderly woman to her seat while Anthony carried a tray of bottled water to the registration table.

Just a few steps away, Iris stood near one of the newly pitched shade canopies, adjusting her scarf as she greeted a group of locals.

That was when a little boy, no older than ten, approached her timidly.

“Madam First Lady,” He said, holding a small velvet box with both hands. “Someone asked me to give you this.”

Iris smiled faintly and took it. “Thank you, sweetheart.”

The boy nodded quickly and darted off into the crowd. Iris watched him disappear before glancing down at the box in her palm.

It was elegantly tied with a thin silver ribbon.

Curious, she untied it and opened the lid.

Inside lay a single red rose, freshly cut, its petals flawless and deep crimson. Her brows furrowed.

“A rose?” she whispered, a hint of unease tightening her chest.

Before she could think further, her phone began to ring. An unknown number flashed across the screen.

She hesitated for a second, then answered.

    “Hello?”

The voice that replied was smooth, hauntingly familiar—deep with a smirk hidden behind every word.

“As expected,” The man said, “….your voice is just as beautiful and sweet to the ear as ever, my love.”

Her eyes widened, her grip on the phone tightening.

“Marco?” Iris breathed, her tone caught between disbelief and warning.

“You still recognize my voice. I like that,” Marco said, low and smug through the line.

“Why wouldn’t I recognize an arrogant voice like yours?” Iris replied, cool as always though her grip tightened on the phone.

“Still feisty as ever,” He purred.

“What do you want from me, Marco?”

“Isn’t it obvious?” Marco answered, the smile audible. “I’m still not over you after all these years.”

Iris let out a short, incredulous laugh. “Are you nuts? I am married and I have a son — in case your mentally unstable brain has forgotten.”

There was a quiet beat, then Marco’s tone slid colder.

“I haven’t forgotten. I’ll be back for you soon enough. I can take you with me…or I can simply remove the threats in my way. Your son. Your darling husband.”

Iris’s jaw tightened. She set her shoulders and met his words with ice.

“I would like to see you try, Marco.”

She ended the call without waiting for him to reply, the line cutting off with a polite chirp.

The single rose in her hand suddenly felt heavier than it looked.

She quickly threw the box in a near trashcan and tunred immediately, bumping into Corazon.

“I see Marco is still after you,” Corazon said with a smirk, swirling the wine in her glass.

“Does your husband know that his ex–best friend, the one he stole you from is still communicating with his wife?”

“Corazon, I do not have your time,” Iris replied, her voice cool and dismissive.

“Why not? Isn’t this an interesting topic to talk about?” Corazon pressed, clearly enjoying herself.

“That’s rich coming from you,” Iris said, stepping closer with a composed smile.

“Maybe I should bring up a more interesting topic to talk about.”

Corazon’s smirk faltered as Iris leaned in slightly.

“Does Gael know, that you’re having an affair with Anthony?” Iris continued softly.

Corazon’s hand tightened around her glass, knuckles white.

“Look,” Iris said, voice calm but sharp.

“I honestly don’t give a damn about your sorry-ass family or the del Mundo mess. It’s not in my place to meddle but you keep pushing me, Corazon.”

    “Shut up…” Corazon hissed.

“How about your husband finding out your biggest secret?” Iris leaned closer until her lips nearly brushed Corazon’s ear.

    “That Morgan isn’t his daughter—but Anthony’s.”

“You…” Corazon snapped, shoving Iris lightly, her face drained of color.

Iris chuckled, straightening her blazer. “Don’t worry. I won’t tell on you. Your family drama isn’t worth my time.”

Corazon stood there frozen, trembling with rage.

“Excuse me,” Iris said, glancing at her watch. “But this First Lady has people to attend to.”

She turned and walked out gracefully, heels clicking against the marble floor, leaving Corazon burning in silent fury.

    “Ahh!! That woman!!”
