Does it hurt?” Brandon made to touch his tummy but Angelo stopped him“I’m completely fine” Angelo smiled.“All I want is to talk to Harmony. I just want to explain things to her and ask for her forgiveness. I was the one who asked for a breakup so I would understand if she has moved on with another guy. I’m not going to ask her to take me back, all I just want is for her to forgive me then I can go back to Germany with a clean conscience.” Angelo said but Brandon just looked at him pitifully.“You still do love her, don’t you?” Brandon asked and Angelo looked front.“You already know the answer. She’s my first love and definitely my last coz all I see is her” Angelo smiled sadly, reminiscing of all the moments he had with Harmony.Brandon sighed.“Alright, I’ll think of something to do. She ran into the house like flash..Joanna smiled when she saw her.“Harmo-“Harmony ran pass her before she could finish talking. Harmony stormed in the kitchen.“Suzy? Suzy! Where’s Suzy!” She asked the maids there“She’s currently cleaning your parent’s room miss” One of the maids repliedHarmony immediately ran off and barged in her parents room to meet Suzy, the maid he asked to throw off the box containing Angelo’s gift to her“Miss..” Suzy called, looking surprised to see her“Suzy!! The box I asked you to throw, please don’t tell me you already did so?” Harmony asked breathlessly.“Well I remember you use to cherish the box so much so I couldn’t just throw it away. I kept it back in your room miss, sorry if I didn’t obey you” Suzy bowed apologetically.“Thanks so much Suzy” Harmony sighed in relief before heading to her room. She got in as Suzy said, she met the box on her bed. Harmony walked to the box and opened it, bringing out the necklace. She looked at the pendant that was sculpted with “GELONY”. Her mind went to when he gave it to her.“Why are you back? You should have just stayed wherever you went… Why do you want to confuse me? You want to give me false hope again so that you can leave again huh? You want me to trust you again so that you can break that trust huh?” Harmony said while staring at the necklace. She brought out the bracelet then looked at it. Her mind went to their first time together, they day she decided to give him her body.“I hàte you! You liar, I hàte you!” She thought, fighting back her tears. She brought out her phone then went back to all the texts she kept sending him. Just like 3 years ago, it still remained unreadShe laid down on her bed and went to her gallery then to her archive where she put all of her pics with Angelo. She began swiping through it, right from those days she used to tutor him and how she used to whip him each time he fails a question, to the first kiss they shared during their matriculation night. Her mind went to their second kiss until a dog began chasing Angelo, then the day they went camping and got lost in the forest together. How Angelo confessed to her, the day they became officially a thing which was on the day she found out he was Crybaby. All those memories they had together began coming back and she didn’t know when the tears she was fighting back escaped her eyes.❆•❆•❆•❆<ONE WEEK LATER≈GRAVEYARD>Angelo placed the bouquet of flowers he came with on Daniel’s grave then he placed the other on Melissa’s grave.“It’s been a long time right? Sorry for the long wait, I hope you guys are fairing well wherever you are” Angelo smiledNo matter how hard he tries, he just can’t seem to hate his mother.“I know it must be hard but dad, please forgive mum and mum forgive dad in any way he wronged you” Angelo said.“Also, I’m sorry dad but I think I’ll have to sell our mansion. It holds too many memories I wished I forgot, that place won’t be the same without you guys” Angelo said.“I’ve also been trying to earn Harmony’s forgiveness for a week now but looks like she really hàtes me. She filed a restraining order against me so I can’t even go close to her or else I’ll be arrested” Angelo said and sighed..“Brandon said he has a plan, let’s hope it works” Angelo thought and stood up straight.“See you some other time. I love you guys, very much” Angelo smiled before leaving the graveyard. He got in his car and drove to his new mansion he bought.❆•❆•❆•❆Harmony’s car stopped in front of the mansion. She looked up at the mansion.“What the hell are you doing Harmony!” She screamed inwardly.Earlier an unknown number sent her a pic of Angelo hugging a lady who’s face was hidden so she decided to come over and confirm her doubts, if she’s his girlfriend.“Harmony, just go back home” She thought and made to enter back her car but stopped.“No… I need to know, I want to move on.. If he confirms it then I see no reason holding onto the past” She thought before walking to the gate. The guards were amazed to see a celebrity before her.“I’m here to see Angelo Rodriguez, can I go in?” She asked and they immediately made way for her.“This way miss” The security guard escorted her to the interior of the house“Sir Angelo hasn’t yet return. Please be patient Miss” The maid said and Harmony nodded. She sat down and decided to wait for him but immediately sprang up again.“No.. I can’t stoop this low” She thought and turned to leave but bumped on someone.“Harmony?” Angelo called and she looked up at him. Harmony immediately took some steps back.“What brings you here?” Angelo asked.“I.. I..” Harmony sighed then made to leave but Angelo grabbed her arm.“Harmony please hear me out. Just this once and I won’t disturb your life ever again” Angelo said and Harmony yanked his hands off.“You’re really a jerkish liar aren’t you? What do you want from me? Just let me be!! After all you’ve had what you wanted from me, go and enjoy with your lover!” Harmony said.“Lover? You want to know who’s the woman I truly love? Come here” Angelo grabbed her arm and began dragging her upstairs.“Let me go! Angelo, if you don’t let me go this instance I’ll file you for harassment!” Harmony struggled with him till they got to the study room, standing in front a big mirror.“Here.. How his father’s company went bankrupt and his surgery.“I lost my phone and I didn’t bother to get a new one because yunno when life pulls you so down you’ll want to isolate yourself from social media” Angelo said and Harmony just looked at him, not knowing whether to believe him or not.“Candy” Angelo took her hand and she felt sparks course through her body.“I’m not telling you this for you to pity me. I am a jerk, a fóol, call me all that… I broke the promise I made to you. Asking you to take me back will be a dream I can’t even afford so you forgiving me will be enough for me… I’m sorry, very sorry I couldn’t be the knight in shining armor you expected me to me” Angelo smiled lightly, fighting back his own tearsHarmony sniffed, fighting back her tears as she looked at him.“I can live with the pain of seeing you with someone else but you hating me for life, that’s something I can’t bear” Angelo said brought his hands to her cheek to clean her tears.“Will all that said, I promise I won’t longer bother you. I’ll give you the space you asked me to do” Angelo said and stood up, releasing her hand.He began heading to the exit and when his hand made contact with the doorknob, he paused when he felt arms around his waist.“You jerk!! Leaving me once isn’t enough, you want to leave me again? Just take a gun and shoot me since you want me to díe slowly! I’m sorry… I should have understood how you felt, rather than thinking about myself alone. If screams could bring down the hall, the hall would have been down by now.Angelo who was standing amongst the crowd smiled..“She made it..” He thought, smiling widely. The beat of the music began playing and Harmony began jumping while waving her hands in the air, hyping the crowd even moreHarmony: Every time you’re near, my heart just skips a beat,I get lost in your eyes, I feel like I’m complete,I never knew a love that could feel so true,I don’t know what I would do without you.Harmony and Winter: I love you, more than words can say,I need you, every night and day,I can’t imagine life without your smile,You’re the one who makes my life worth while.“Go girls!!” Cassidy screamed loudly, jumping up too.“Calm down, don’t hurt the baby” Chance said to Cassidy who didn’t even hear him.“Can’t believe this fóol will be a father before us” Evan frowned and turned to Tasha.“Tonight let’s make some babies too okay?” He whispered but Tasha just stuff a piece of hotdog in his mouth.“You must be hungry” Tasha scoffed and the others laughed. They were all at the VIP sector so it was just them there.“Guys..” A voice sounded behind them and Brandon was the first to turn back. His eyes widened greatly.“Angelo?” Brandon called, blinking severally to make sure he wasn’t hallucinating.Angelo smiled with his hands in his pockets.“Long time…” He muttered.Winter: You make my world a brighter place,With every kiss and warm embrace,I love the way you laugh and how you care,And how you’re always there to share.Winter and Harmony: I love you, more than words can say,I need you, every night and day,I can’t imagine life without your smile,You’re the one who makes my life worth while.Harmony: And even when the dark clouds come around!!You’re the light that helps me find my way!!I know that with you by my side!!Everything’s gonna be okay!!Harmony sang the bridge with a high pitched voice. Silence issued for some seconds before Winter’s melodious voice came upWinter: You’re the missing piece in my heart,With you, I feel like I can do anything,I love you – always and forever. The outro music began playing as the whole crowd vibed with them. Their screams came up again when the song ended.“Wow, you guys are really energetic. Let’s make this a long night!!” Winter chuckled on the mic.“Our next song is for a diss song to all those who call us ugly and it’s called…” Harmony pointed her mic to the crowd👥 Unpretty!!The crowd shouted the name of the song and almost immediately the beating of the song began playing“Yeah.. Yeah.. Yeah.. Unpretty, that’s what you are,Fake from head to toe, you’ve gone too far,Trying so hard to fit in,But in reality, you’re just a sin” Winter rapped the beginning of the song.❆•❆•❆•❆<TWO HOURS LATER≈BACKSTAGE>The concert went well and ended well. At the backstage, Brandon could be seen leaning on the wall with Angelo standing beside him.“You better start talking before I punch you. Bro you literally cut all of us out for four f+king years!” Brandon glared at Angelo.Angelo nodded and explained everything to Brandon without leaving out a single detail.Brandon’s eyes widened in shock from all what he was hearing.“You went through all these alone?!” Brandon exclaimed and Angelo nodded.“F+k… What about the wound from the surgery, you should have at least waited for it to heal. You should go home and rest okay? Your wound might open” Brandon said and Angelo nodded.“I missed you big bro” Angelo said and Brandon smiled.“Same here kiddo” Brandon said and hugged him.Angelo smiled and hugged him back. After few moments, they broke the hug and then walked out of the room to meet their friends outside.“You jerk!” Barbie hit his shoulder before hugging Angelo.“Dude.. We lowkey thought you were déad” Dennis said and Chance smacked his head.“Shut up! You’re an adult but still talk like a kid” Chance rolled his eyesAngelo chuckled and faced Winter who already changed from their stage outfit.“Where’s Harmony?” Angelo asked.“She left immediately the concert was over” Winter replied and Angelo nodded.“She must be avoiding me…” He thought and sighed.❆•❆•❆•❆<ANDERSON MANSION>Harmony immediately stormed out of the car without waiting for the driver to open the door for her. That’s the woman I love, and I’ll never stop loving her” Angelo said“That’s me” Harmony whispered.Angelo turned her to face him.“Harmony, I’m really sorry if my actions left you heartbroken. I’m sorry okay, it’s just that-““Angelo let me go” Harmony said“Harmony-”“I said let go!!” Harmony pushed hard on the tummy and Angelo released her.“Argh!” He groaned, holding his tummy.“Angelo..” Harmony’s eyes widened when she saw his shirt dampen with blood.“Angelo! Doll… Doll… Are you okay? I’m so sorry” Harmony lifted his shirt up and a gasp escaped her lips when she saw the bandage had already soaked with blood.“I’m sorry” She muttered.“Please help me with the first aid kit” Angelo said and Harmony immediately rushed to get it.She came back and helped Angelo to redress the wound.“I’m sorry” Harmony muttered again and Angelo smiled lightly as he finished buttoning back his shirt“I’m fine…” He said and told her everything. I’m sorry, please don’t leave me again… Please” Harmony teared up.She broke down in tears as she shed all the tears she has been holding for years. Angelo gulped down as a drop of tear fell from his eyes.✎.. .. .. ..『𝐓.𝐁.𝐂』 -

“Load your rifles,” The instructor ordered, his voice firm and clipped. “Check the chamber. Safety off and your finger off the trigger until I tell you to shoot.”
The five Aces moved in sync- almost. Metal clinked as magazines slid in and bolts snapped forward.
“Put on your headsets,” He continued, walking past each of them. Everyone obeyed except Hades.
The instructor stopped right in front of him. “Something wrong, Hades?”
Hades didn’t answer. He stared straight ahead, his fist tight.
“I said, headset on.”
A few seconds passed before Hades finally reached for the ear protectors and slid them over his head. The instructor gave a short nod and moved on.
“Now, aim.”
They all raised their rifles, eyes down the scope, fingers hovering near the triggers.
“This shit is heavy,” Morgan muttered, shifting her grip.
“Stop complaining and focus. It’s really light.” Hyce said without looking up.
“Maybe if you lift something other than your ego, you’d handle it better.” She shot back.
Trevor snorted quietly. Hugo rolled his eyes.
The instructor’s voice cut through their bickering. “Focus on your breathing. Inhale. Exhale. Don’t rush, sniping isn’t about strength, it’s control.”
They steadied. The range was silent except for their slow, even breaths.
“On my count,” The instructor said, glancing down the line. “Three… two… one…”
Five shots cracked through the air, smoke rising from the barrels.
“Targets down. Let’s see how you did,” The instructor called, stepping forward as the digital screens displayed the scores.
Hyce’s shot blinked dead-center.
“Bullseye,” The instructor noted with approval.
Hugo’s was just beside it—slightly off but still close enough to impress. Trevor’s landed in nearly the same spot.
Morgan frowned as her screen showed a complete miss.
“Ugh, come on,” She groaned under her breath.
Then came Hades. The red dot blinked right at the bullseye. Perfect.
“Nice, Hades,” The instructor said, a trace of admiration in his tone.
“As expected,” Hades replied, lowering his rifle with calm confidence.
“Proud jerk.”Trevor scoffed, rolling his shoulders.
“Hey, Trevor,” Hades said, his voice low but sharp enough to cut the air.
“What?”Trevor turned, brows raised.
Without breaking eye contact, Hades lifted his rifle again, one hand steady on the grip. He didn’t even look at the target. Two quick shots rang out—bang, bang—and both bullets hit dead center.
The room went silent.
“See?” Hades tilted his head slightly, a smirk tugging at his lips. “I’m not being proud. It’s a fact.”
He rested the rifle on his shoulder, eyes still locked on Trevor.
“I’m better than you.”
“Continue practicing,” The instructor ordered.
The Aces reloaded and began shooting again, the arena echoing with rapid gunfire and the smell of gunpowder.
Then suddenly—
“Ahh!!” Bluey screamed as she stumbled inside, the deafening noise shocking her.
She covered her ears tightly, trembling at the barrage of shots.
Everyone stopped.
Hades turned immediately, lowering his gun. Hyce glanced curiously. Hugo stared blankly. Trevor, on the other hand, grabbed his weapon again, eyes flicking toward Bluey, before he tried to shoot at the target again.
But one sharp glare from Hades made him freeze. The tension was palpable—Trevor clenched his jaw, then reluctantly dropped his gun to the table.
“What on earth is your business with her, Hades?” Morgan crossed her arms, glaring.
“I strongly believe that what I do is none of your fucking business.” Hades said in a quiet, dangerous tone.
He walked toward Bluey. She flinched as he reached her, his tall frame shadowing hers. Gently, he took her hands and pulled them away from her ears.
Her breathing was shaky. He leaned in slightly, close enough that she stepped back in alarm—but instead of saying anything, he reached behind her, grabbed a water bottle off the counter, and twisted the cap open.
He drank, his eyes never leaving hers.
“I’m done here,” He said, tossing the empty bottle aside.
Then he took Bluey’s hand firmly but not harshly and led her out of the arena without another word.
The door shut behind them.
“That stupid Hades!” Morgan snapped, slamming her gun down.
“You’re so fucking noisy,” Hyce muttered, raising his sniper and aiming it casually at her.
Morgan froze.
He fired.
The bullet struck the wall just inches behind her.
“Fuck,” Hyce said lazily, lowering his weapon. “I missed.”
“Hyce, don’t do that again,” Hugo warned, his tone edged with irritation.
“Why not? She’s so noisy,” Hyce replied, smirking as he unloaded his rifle and leaned it against the table.
Morgan shot him a glare but didn’t say anything this time.
The room was filled with the faint ringing of metal and the smell of smoke, but one person wasn’t paying attention at all.
Trevor stood still, gun hanging loosely by his side, eyes fixed on the door Bluey had just exited through.
He didn’t even hear the others arguing. His mind had drifted completely.
Bluey.
Is that the Bluey girl? he thought, recalling her startled expression, the way her eyes had widened. So she’s the girl Hades is all over? .
Seems like I found your click button, Hades.

They entered his suite, the door closing behind them with a soft click. The room was silent except for the faint hum of the air conditioner.
Hades shrugged off his jacket, then reached for the hem of his black shirt and pulled it over his head in one swift motion.
Bluey froze. Her breath hitched as her eyes trailed over his toned chest and the faint sheen of sweat glistening on his skin.
She swallowed hard, her cheeks burning, her gaze darting anywhere but him.
“You ate breakfast, right?” He asked, his voice low and rough.
She nodded quickly.
“Um… won’t I get punished for skipping class?” She asked.
Without answering, Hades picked up his phone and dialed a number.
“What is it?” Miss Dora’s voice came through the line.
“Bluey Cruise,” He said flatly. “She’s skipping class.”
“What the—”
“She’s with me,” Hades cut her off.
There was a brief silence.
“…Oh. Okay.”
He ended the call and turned to Bluey.
“It’s settled.”
She blinked, still processing what had just happened, and gave a small nod.
“O-okay.”
“Does my voice still scare you?”Hades took a step toward her.
Her hands tightened at her sides as she looked down.
“Um… no…” she mumbled.
He stopped right in front of her, close enough that she could feel the warmth radiating from his skin.
“Then why can’t you look at me?” His tone dropped, almost a whisper, but there was a sharp edge to it. “Why do you keep flinching like I’m some kind of monster?”
Her heart pounded.
“You think I like it ?” He continued, his voice quieter but heavier. “Every time I speak, you shrink back. Every time I look at you, you tremble. Do you have any idea how that feels?”
Bluey slowly raised her eyes to meet his. “I’m sorry… I just—”
“I don’t want you to be scared of me,” He said, interrupting softly this time, his gaze dark but conflicted. “I want you to look at me and enjoy hanging out with me… without fear.”
For a moment, neither of them moved. The tension hung thick in the air, the silence louder than any word spoken.
Hades walked out on her, heading upstairs to his room.
Bluey let out a shaky breath, her fingers curling nervously by her sides.
“It’s not my fault that I find you scary,” She whispered to herself. “It’s just… everything I’ve heard about you makes me want to stay away.”
“Bluey!”
She froze at the sound of his voice.
Gathering her courage, she followed the direction it came from, her footsteps light against the marble floor.
She stopped in front of a door, hesitated for a moment, then knocked softly before pushing it open.
“Hades…” Bluey called slowly, looking around.
She looked around the room and he wasn’t there. She heard the splashing of water in the bathroom, so she dragged her feet to the door.
“Hades, you called for me?” Bluey knocked gently.
“Come in,” Hades said, and her eyes widened.
“What!”
She gulped down hard and walked in with her eyes closed tightly.
“I’m here…” she muttered.
“What are you doing?” Hades’s voice sounded, and she slowly opened her eyes.
She heaved out a huge breath of relief when she saw he was inside the soapy tub. Only his head and wet upper body were visible.
His eyes were staring at her with that usual, unreadable intensity, but this time, a faint smirk played on his lips as he sat regally in the tub, his arms resting on its edges.
“Hades, what do you—”
“Bath me,” he cut her off.
“W-what?”Bluey froze, her lips parting in disbelief.
“You heard me right, and I hate repeating myself..” Hades muttered.
Bluey swallowed hard, clutching her hands tightly onto the hem of her gown as she bit her lips.
What is she actually supposed to do now? How will she start and where should she end?
“Relax,” He murmured, eyes still fixed on her. “You act like I’m going to eat you.”
“Yes.. um…. okay” Bluey stuttered and she breathed heavily before walking towards him.
She picked the soap and the bathing sponge before walking around to his back.
With shaky hands, she brought the sponge to his skin, moving it gently over his shoulders.
The water rippled quietly with each careful motion she made. She made sure not to scrub too hard, afraid he might get annoyed — or worse, yell at her.
The bathroom was silent except for the faint sound of dripping water. The scent of soap filled the air, but even that calmness felt heavy.
It was too quiet. Too quiet. Bluey’s heartbeat sounded louder than the water itself.
She finished with his back and slowly came around to the front. Her eyes flickered to his face — his eyes were closed, his jaw relaxed. He looked calm. Almost peaceful.
Bluey hesitated before taking his hand. Her small fingers brushed against his palm, and she noticed how easily his palm could swallow hers whole. A tiny breath escaped her lips.
She began rubbing the sponge from his wrist upward, careful and slow, following the lines of his arm until she reached his shoulder. Her throat felt dry.
He was sitting too far from her, so she leaned forward, trying to reach his chest.
The more she stretched, the more the distance teased her — until suddenly, her feet slipped against the wet tiles.
“Arh!!”
Her gasp broke through the silence as she lost her balance and fell forward — straight into the warm water with a loud splash.
“Ahh!” Bluey winced softly, her hands flying to her face as she tried to wipe away the soap that had gotten into her eyes.
Her vision blurred for a few seconds, and when it finally cleared, a sharp gasp escaped her lips. She froze completely.
She was straddling Hades.
His cold, unreadable gaze locked onto hers. The water rippled faintly between them, her palms pressed against his bare chest as panic flickered across her face.
“I—I’m so sorry, Hades—”
“I didn’t ask you to stop,” he muttered, voice low and firm.
Bluey blinked, her heart hammering wildly. She nodded quickly, fumbling for the sponge that had drifted beside them in the water.
“R-right,” she whispered and brought it to his chest.
She started scrubbing carefully, her hands trembling as she moved the sponge over his warm skin.
She tried not to look, but her gaze kept straying to the dark tattoos curling across his chest, to the lines tracing over his muscles like art carved from danger itself.
She swallowed hard and continued until she’d cleaned his chest, shoulders, and arms.
Still, his gaze didn’t waver, it followed her every move, silent and unnerving.
When she finally glanced up at him, she found those same eyes on her, deep and emotionless, as though he were reading her thoughts.
“Can I ask you something?” She muttered, her curiosity slipping through before she could stop it.
“Mm.” He hummed in reply, his voice low.
“You… you won’t get mad, right?”
He tilted his head slightly, saying nothing — just gesturing for her to continue.
Bluey hesitated, then bit her lip. “I heard some… rumors about you.”
“What rumors?” His voice came out quiet but sharp, like a blade wrapped in calm.
“Um…” She fidgeted with the sponge nervously. “The girls who had feelings for you in the past… your flings… that they all died. Is it true?”
Her voice was barely above a whisper.
“Yes,” Hades said openly, his gaze never breaking from hers. “It’s true.”
Bluey tightened her fist on the sponge.
“I clearly told them not to fall in love with me. I made it clear what I wanted. But they refused to listen,” Hades said, his voice calm but cold.
“So… about me?” she asked quietly. “Do you want the same thing from me?”
“If that’s what I wanted Bluey, I would’ve done that by now. You’re still a kid, you can’t handle me. But that’s not what this is.” Hades said.
She looked at him, unsure, and he reached out, his soapy fingers gripping her chin, making her meet his eyes.
“You’re not here because I want something from you, like sex.” He said in a low voice.
“You’re here because I can’t get you out of my head. You’ve been in my thoughts, under my skin. I want you in an intoxicating kind of way. I’ve been loosing my damn mind since I saw you and right now, I don’t think I can stay away from you.”Hades said, his voice raw.
Bluey’s breath hitched. His tone wasn’t angry — it was something far more dangerous.
“But don’t mistake that for kindness, I’m not always soft.” Hades continued.
“Because one day, when you’re no longer afraid of me… be rest assured…..”He leaned towards her ear.
“I will fuck you, but the difference is you’re going to be the one to beg for it. And when that time comes , I’m gonna fuck you so hard till I make sure all the bones in your body feels numb, and by the time I’m done, I’m gonna make sure you’ll still feel me deep inside you.” He said huskily.
She felt shivers run down her spine.
He leaned out and patted her hair.
“In due time, you’ll understand exactly what I mean when I say I don’t plan on letting you go.”
Her heart pounded hard against her chest. She tried to stand, needing air, needing space, but before she could move away, his hand caught her wrist and pulled her back into the water.
She landed on him again, the water splashing even more on the floor.
“Hades….”
The rest of her words cut stuck in her throat when Hades’ hand went to the back of her neck, pulling her closer
He tilted his head to the side and softly pressed his lips against hers.
Her eyes widened as she blinked thrice to make sure she wasn’t hallucinating.
He was kissing her!!
Bluey gripped tightly onto her wet gown. Hades gripped her waist and pulled her closer, probing his tongue inside her mouth.
Bluey couldn’t resist the urge to moan out cutely. When she began responding, Hades broke the kiss.
He gazed onto her round doll eyes that looked at her. His thumb gently caressed her lips.
“I’m the only man allowed to kiss those lips, no one else. I will kill any guy who touches you or even as little looks at you.” He muttered and she slowly nodded, it felt like she was under hypnosis.
Hades looked at her one last time before standing up from the water. He came out of the tub and grabbed his towel, cleaning himself as he left the bathroom
Bluey remained sitting there, staring into space. Her hands went to her lips and she touched it.
“He… He said and did all this, just because he wanted to kiss me?” Bluey muttered in surprise.
She didn’t know when she smiled just by that, but her smile faltered instantly when she remembered Natalie and the guys words.
“I can’t believe I almost got fooled by him. He’s really good.”Bluey said slapping her cheeks lightly.
“Bluey…. You can’t fall in love with him. He’s only going to use you.”She pouted.

Trevor walked into his suite, his shirt still in his hand as he headed toward his room. After a quick shower, he came downstairs and paused when he heard faint music coming from the kitchen.
Morgan was there, moving her hips lightly to the rhythm as she prepared a snack, a headset on her ears. She was wearing his shirt, the fabric brushing against her thighs, and she looked completely at ease.
Trevor leaned against the wall, watching her with a faint smile before walking closer. He slipped his arms around her waist from behind, and she startled a little before realizing it was him.
She took off her earphones and smiled.
“Hey, I didn’t know you were back. Want some?” she asked, pointing at the snack on the counter.
“Maybe later,” Trevor said, resting his chin on her shoulder. “Right now, I just want you.”
“But I’m hungry and I want to eat first.” Morgan laughed softly, leaning back against him.
“Eat when I’m done with you first.”He murmured, tightening his arms around her.
She turned around to face him, their eyes meeting for a second before Trevor leaned in and kissed her.
“Food first,” Morgan said, slipping out of his arms with a playful smile.
“You’re seriously starving me here, Morgan. It’s been weeks since we last fucked, this guy is barely surviving,” Trevor complained, watching her pull the tray out of the oven.
“You’ll survive,” She said over her shoulder. “Eat something instead of whining.”
“You’re unbelievable. Do you ever stop teasing me? Just a quickie please.”
“You can watch porn if you’re that horny.”Morgan said.
“You are the only person I’ve known my entire life that tells her boyfriend to openly jack off to watching porn. You’re so mean.”He huffed dramatically.
“I’m just saving my energy for tonight,” She replied, a smile tugging at her lips as she set the tray on the counter.
“You do realize who you’re up against, right? You can’t beat Hades.”Trevor raised an eyebrow.
Morgan paused, her expression softening.
“I know,” She said quietly.
“Then why bet against him? What if the challenge turns out dangerous?”
“I’ll be fine,” She said, brushing her hair behind her ear. “Don’t worry too much about me.”
Trevor sighed and crossed his arms.
“If you get hurt more than expected, I’m pulling you out. No arguments.”
“Fine. You win.”Morgan smiled faintly.
“You’re so stubborn.”He frowned.
“And you still love me, don’t you?” She teased, tapping his chest lightly.
Yeah, unfortunately.”Trevor smirked. “
Morgan took one of the snacks, blew on it softly, and held it up to Trevor’s lips.
“Open up,” she said with a teasing grin.
Trevor leaned forward, taking a bite.
“Mmm… not bad,” He said with his mouth full. “Guess you’re good for something other than being a trouble magnet.”
“You’re lucky I’m in a good mood.”Morgan narrowed her eyes.
He laughed, catching her wrist before she could pull away. “You’re cute when you act tough.”
“Eat your food, Trevor,” She said, trying not to smile.
He took another bite from her hand, his eyes never leaving hers. When he finished, she brushed a crumb from the corner of his lips.
“See? I take good care of you,” she said.
“Yeah,” he murmured, still holding her gaze. “You really do.”
Morgan smiled, then reached for her phone on the counter. She scrolled through her contacts and tapped on a name.
The call rang twice before Natasha answered.
“Morgan?”
“Yeah. I need you to do something for me,” Morgan said calmly, glancing at Trevor, who was watching her curiously. “It’s about the party tonight.”
“What is it?” Natasha asked.
“I’ll text you when you get there,” Morgan said, her tone quiet but sharp. “Just make sure you’re ready.”
She ended the call and slipped the phone into her pocket, a small, knowing smile tugging at her lips.
“What are you planning now?”Trevor frowned.
“Nothing you need to worry about,” She said softly. “I just want to play a little with someone called Bluey.”

★𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫’𝐬 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 ★ 7PM –
Gael walked into the room, the door clicking shut behind him as he loosened his tie. The weight of the day seemed to press down on his shoulders.
He dropped his laptop on the desk beside the bed and exhaled deeply, rubbing the back of his neck.
From the bathroom, the sound of running water faded. Corazon stepped out, wrapped in a silk robe, towel in hand as she dried her damp hair.
Her perfume, faint and floral lingered in the air as she sat in front of the mirror, carefully applying her night cream, her movements calm and unhurried.
Gael turned to look at her, his eyes softening.
“Hey,” He said quietly, moving closer.
She caught his reflection in the mirror but didn’t respond. Her focus stayed on her face as she combed through her hair with delicate strokes.
He walked up behind her, placing his hands gently on her shoulders.
“You’ve been avoiding me lately,” He murmured, his lips brushing against her neck.
“Gael, not now,” She said, her voice flat but not angry, simply detached.
He sighed and leaned closer, sliding a hand around her waist.
“Come on, Corazon. It’s been days. Can’t we just—”
She placed a hand over his and removed it from her waist.
“I’m tired,” She said, meeting his gaze in the mirror.
The look in her eyes wasn’t cold, it was distant, like she was somewhere far away.
Gael straightened slowly, frustration flickering across his face.
“You’re always tired lately,” He muttered under his breath, stepping back.
Corazon said nothing. She simply returned her attention to the mirror, running her fingers through her hair, acting as if his presence no longer affected her.
Gael walked closer, his shirt half-unbuttoned as he leaned on the desk, watching her through the mirror.
“You’ve been distant lately,” He said quietly, the frustration lacing his voice. “You barely talk to me anymore.”
Corazon didn’t look up.
“I’m just tired, Gael.”She continued combing her damp hair, her reflection calm but detached.
“Tired?” He moved behind her, his hands sliding to her shoulders. She instantly stiffened and pulled away, standing up to grab her robe.
“Corazon,” He said, his tone sharpening. “I’m your husband. I can’t even touch my own wife now?”
She tied her robe tightly and faced him.
“I said I’m not in the mood. Why are you making this a big deal?”
“Because it is a big deal!” His voice rose. “You barely look at me, you sleep early, you act like I don’t exist! What’s going on with you?”
“Nothing is going on!” She snapped, though her tone carried a hint of guilt. “Not everything has to revolve around you, Gael.”
He scoffed, shaking his head in disbelief.
“Unbelievable. I can’t even talk to you without getting shut out.”
She didn’t answer, only turned her back again toward the mirror.
Gael stared at her reflection for a moment longer, his jaw tightening.
“You know what? Fine. Stay in your mood.”
He stormed out of the room, the door slamming behind him, leaving Corazon staring at herself in the mirror, her expression blank, but eyes flickering with something she refused to admit.

*Poolside*
Gael sat by the poolside, the night air cool against his skin as he stared into the still water. His shirt sleeves were rolled up.
Maureen walked over quietly, holding a tray with a cup of steaming coffee.
“Here you go, sir,” she said softly, placing it on the small glass table beside him.
He looked up briefly and nodded. “Thank you, Maureen.”
She hesitated, then asked carefully, “Are you okay, sir? You look… troubled.”
Gael let out a faint laugh, one that lacked humor. “Is it that obvious?”
Maureen offered a small, understanding smile. “I’ve worked for you and Madam for years, sir. I can tell when something’s wrong.”
He leaned back in his chair, sighing deeply.
“It’s Corazon,” he admitted. “Lately, she’s been so distant. I try to talk to her, she shuts me out. I touch her, she turns away. It’s like I’m living with a stranger.”
Maureen listened silently, hands folded before her.
“She used to smile when I came home. We’d talk for hours, argue, make up… But now,” He said, his voice dropping, “she doesn’t even look at me. It’s like she’s… losing interest.”
Maureen frowned slightly. “Maybe Madam is just stressed, sir. Women go through a lot—sometimes they need space.”
Gael nodded but his eyes stayed on the water.
“I’ve given her space. I’ve been patient. But it’s been weeks. I keep wondering if I did something wrong or if someone else…” He trailed off, shaking his head. “No. Corazon wouldn’t do that.”
Maureen hesitated, then said softly with a smile .“Maybe she just needs you to remind her why she fell in love, sir.”
Gael’s jaw tightened.
“Maybe.” He took a slow sip of the coffee, eyes still dark with thought. “But love shouldn’t feel like begging for attention.”
Maureen said nothing more, sensing it was better to leave him alone.
She bowed politely before walking away, leaving Gael alone with the quiet ripples of the pool and his own heavy thoughts.
****
Maureen was walking back toward the servants’ quarters, her mind still lingering on Gael’s troubled expression by the pool.
The air was quiet, the soft hum of the night broken only by the sound of crickets.
As she neared the driveway, she spotted Banjo closing the gate after parking one of the cars. He looked up at her, his face unreadable beneath the dim light.
“You’re still here,” Maureen said carefully, adjusting her apron.
“I was just about to leave,” he replied curtly, wiping his hands on a cloth.
Banjo didn’t live on the estate; he usually stayed in the staff housing across town and only came when on duty.
She nodded and was about to walk past when his hand shot out, gripping her wrist.
“We need to talk,” he said, his tone low.
“Not here.”Her eyes flicked toward the house, nervous.
A few moments later, they were in her quarters. Maureen closed the door and turned to face him.
“What’s wrong with you?” Banjo demanded, stepping closer. “Why were you talking with him like that?”
“Talking?” Maureen frowned. “I just served him coffee, Banjo. That’s my job.”
He let out a bitter laugh. “Don’t play dumb. You think I didn’t see you there with him? Smiling? Acting all concerned?”
“I wasn’t flirting,” she said, her voice firm. “He was just upset, and I—”
“Upset?” Banjo cut in sharply. “Since when did his feelings become your problem? You’re a maid, Maureen. Not his comfort.”
She crossed her arms, visibly offended. “You’re being ridiculous. Sir Gael is my employer. He was just talking.”
Banjo stepped closer, his voice lowering but sharper.
“You live in the same house, you talk to him alone at night—what do you think people will start saying when they see that? Especially his wife.”
Her patience snapped. “I didn’t do anything wrong, Banjo. Don’t make it sound dirty when it isn’t. He’s a married man!”
“That’s exactly why you should stay away,” Banjo shot back, his jaw clenched. “You don’t know what rumors can do. I won’t have my wife being called someone else’s weakness.”
The room fell quiet for a moment, only their heavy breathing filling the air.
Maureen looked away, her voice soft but hurt. “You don’t trust me at all, do you?”
Banjo didn’t answer immediately. He stared at her for a long time, then muttered.
“Don’t twist this.”
“Exactly, Don’t pretend like you care about me. We both know the truth, we’re separated so can you please stop acting like you’re my husband and you matter? It’s irritating.”
“You… I’m leaving.”
With that, he turned and walked out, leaving her standing alone in the dim light, torn between frustration and guilt she didn’t deserve.

Night descended over the campus, but the air was far from quiet.
The sound of thumping bass and laughter echoed across the streets as groups of students made their way toward the infamous Frat Hall — the largest frat house on campus.
The road leading there shimmered under the neon glow spilling from streetlights and portable speakers.
Girls in bikinis and short cover-ups walked in groups, drinks in their hands, glitter dusting their skin. Some danced as they moved, swaying to the beat even before reaching the party.
Guys followed behind, carrying coolers of alcohol, tossing beer cans back and forth, the smell of rum and smoke already blending into the air.
Someone yelled, “Let’s gooo!” and the crowd cheered in return, laughter bursting through the night.
As they approached the house, the full chaos came into view — lights flashing red, blue, and purple against the white walls, music pounding so hard it could be felt in the chest.

★ 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐦 ★
Natalie, Loci, and Zayne stood downstairs in front of the dorm, the night buzzing with laughter and distant party music.
Natalie kept tapping her foot impatiently, glancing up at the building.
“What’s taking them so long?” She muttered, crossing her arms.
“She said she’s not coming unless she wears her sweater,” Loci said, scrolling through her phone.
Zayne leaned against the railing, sipping from his soda can.
“She’s probably overthinking it, bikini on one night won’t hurt.” He said lazily, though the small smirk tugging at his lips showed he was curious too.
Moments later, the dorm door burst open and Nia strutted out grinning like she’d just won a prize. And behind her, slowly and nervously, came Bluey.
All three of them froze.
Bluey’s skin glowed under the soft hallway light, her bikini perfectly hugging her curves.
Her hair fell loosely down her shoulders, and her cheeks were tinted with shy pink. She crossed her arms over her chest, trying to hide, but that only made her look even more irresistible.
Natalie’s jaw dropped.
“Girl, you’ve been hiding this hot body under those church gowns?” She blurted, her voice echoing in disbelief.
“Damn, Bluey. You’re out here looking like temptation in human form.”Loci let out a low whistle.
“It’s Nia’s fault… she forced me to change.”
Bluey looked away shyly.
“Of course, why not. It’s a pool party, not a ceremonial service.”Nia scoffed.
But Zayne wasn’t saying anything. His usual teasing smirk had vanished, replaced with wide-eyed surprise.
He couldn’t stop staring, she looked so innocent, like she didn’t even realize the kind of effect she had.
Nia laughed, linking arms with Bluey.
“Come on, before you make the whole dorm faint. Let’s go set the frat on fire.”
—-
The party was in full swing—music thumping so loud the ground almost vibrated beneath their feet, colorful lights flashing over the crowd dancing around the pool.
The smell of alcohol and perfume filled the humid night air.
Sergio arrived with Dawn and Desiree, weaving through the mass of students.
Desiree immediately flipped her hair and grinned, taking in the sight of shirtless guys and girls in glittering bikinis.
“God, this party is so lit,” Desiree said excitedly, her eyes scanning the crowd.
“I swear, if I don’t find a hot guy tonight, I’ll start doubting the entire male species.”
Dawn tugged nervously at the hem of her crop top.
“Guys… you’re sure I look pretty enough?” Dawn asked, biting her lip as she glanced around.
“Girl, relax.” Desiree said, throwing her arm around her friend.
“You’ve been so tensed up about this party. Can you, like, enjoy it for once? If you’re this worried that he won’t admire or appreciate how hot you look tonight, then—newsflash—he’s not worth it.” Desiree snapped.
“Why do you even still like Hugo?” Sergio cut in, a frown on his face. “He’s not into you.”
“He is,” Dawn said quickly, her eyes darting toward the other side of the yard as if she might spot him there. “He just… hasn’t realized it yet.”
“Such a lost cause.”Sergio shook his head.
Desiree rolled her eyes, snatching a red cup from a table. “Ugh, enough about him. I’ll go get us drinks before this party gets any wilder.”
She disappeared into the crowd, leaving Sergio and Dawn standing by the edge of the pool as laughter and music swirled around them.
—–
Natalie was dancing wildly with Nia under the pulsing lights, her hair bouncing as she laughed and twirled to the beat.
Bluey, however, stood awkwardly by the corner of the pool, her hands gripping her drink as her eyes darted nervously around the crowd.
Zayne and Loci had gone off to grab food and drinks, leaving the girls alone in the chaos of music and flashing lights.
“Girl, relax,” Nia said, catching her friend’s anxious expression between dance moves. “Hades isn’t here yet. Calm down.”
“I know…” Bluey murmured, staring into her cup. “I just… I don’t want to see him.”
“Wait, what? Did something happen between you two?”Nia stopped dancing, blinking in surprise.
Bluey looked away, chewing on her lower lip. Her mind flashed back to the moment in his suite—the feel of his hand on her neck, the way his lips had claimed hers like she belonged to him.
Ever since that kiss, her heart had been in turmoil.
She really didn’t want to see him tonight. Not when her thoughts were this tangled. Not when every time she closed her eyes, she still felt his breath on her skin.
Nia studied her quietly, her expression softening. “You’ve been weird lately, Bluey. It’s like… he’s in your head.”
“That’s exactly what scares me.”Bluey gave a faint, nervous smile.

Loci was over at the grill booth, piling food onto a paper plate while chatting with a couple of guys swimming.
Across the lawn, Zayne walked toward the drink booth beside the pool where a few students were busy mixing colorful cocktails, bottles of vodka and rum gleaming under the neon lights.
“Not sure she’s going to want to drink alcohol,” Zayne muttered under his breath, eyeing the punch bowl skeptically.
“Hi, cutie.”
The voice was soft, teasing, and very close. Zayne turned, brows furrowing slightly, scanning to see who she was talking to.
“I’m talking to you, silly.”
He felt a hand press lightly against his chest. Desiree stood there, eyes glinting under the fairy lights, her lips curved into a seductive smirk.
The scent of her perfume, sweet and a little dangerous drifted between them. Her manicured fingers traced idle patterns over the logo on his shirt as she leaned in, the music pounding behind her like a heartbeat.
“Well, you look like you could use something stronger than soda,” She said, tilting her head playfully, her voice dripping with confidence.
Then handed him a bottle of alcohol.
Zayne blinked, caught between amusement and disbelief.
“You flirting with me, or trying to get me drunk?”
“Why not both?”Desiree’s smile deepened.
“I’m Desiree,” She purred, her tone dripping with confidence.
“I know. You’re a Knight,” Zayne replied evenly.
“Oooh, looks like someone already knows me—”
“I know every student in MIA,” He cut in, his voice calm but sharp enough to make her blink.
“So what’s your name, cutie?”Desiree’s lips curved into a playful smirk.
“Zayne.”
“What level?” She asked, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.
“Jack,” He said simply, eyes flicking to the drink booth.
“Are you alone? I might need some company.” Desiree winked, leaning closer until her chest brushed against his.
Zayne stepped back slightly, his expression blank. “You want to fuck me?”
“Oh, straight to the point. You’re so hot and irresistible.” Desiree giggled.
“Sorry, but I don’t fuck strangers.” His tone was cool, final.
“Here you go,” The student at the booth said, handing him the last bottle.
Zayne took it, gave a short nod, and walked off without another glance.
Desiree watched him go, biting her lip.
“What an asshole,” she muttered under her breath, eyes lingering on his back. “But shit, he’s hot.”

The screams were deafening the moment The Aces arrived.
The crowd at the pool parted like waves as Morgan, Trevor, Hades, Hugo, and Hyce walked in together—an entrance that could’ve been straight out of a movie.
Heads turned, conversations froze, and even the music seemed to dim for a second.
Morgan was the first to steal attention, her red one-piece swimsuit hugging her figure perfectly, paired with a black sheer wrap skirt that danced around her thighs.
Her long hair was pulled up into a messy ponytail, and her confident smirk alone could stop hearts.
Beside her, Trevor looked effortlessly cocky in dark swim shorts and an open floral shirt, his chain glinting under the lights as he held Morgan’s hand tightly.
Hugo wore a sleeveless black vest over his gray swim trunks, cool and composed as always, his sharp jawline and quiet stare making him impossible to ignore.
Then there was Hyce, in his sleeveless white mesh top and short black swim trunks that highlighted his lean build. His silver accessories, glossy lips, and perfect skin had everyone—girls and guys alike—turning their heads.
But the loudest screams? They were for Hades.
He walked in last, shirtless, his tattoos stark against his skin, black swim shorts hanging low on his hips.
His expression was cold as ice and that alone made him even more dangerous—more magnetic. The kind of man you couldn’t stop looking at even if you knew it would hurt.
Bluey froze the moment her eyes found him. Her heart skipped, her lips parted slightly. He looked even more untouchable tonight, the dim lights bouncing off his wet hair and defined muscles.
She bit her bottom lip, torn between awe and unease.
And then—he looked at her.
For one breathless second, their eyes locked across the crowd. His gaze was sharp, unreadable, like he could see right through her.
Then, just as quickly, he looked away, expression still cold, and walked past her as if she were just another face in the crowd.
The Aces headed straight into the building, leaving whispers and stares trailing behind them.
Bluey exhaled shakily. She didn’t know what hurt more—his kiss earlier, or the way he could now look at her like nothing ever happened.

-𝐕𝐈𝐏 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦-
The VIP room was thick with tension, the air humming beneath the dim golden lights.
The Aces had already taken their seats around the long glass table, drinks in hand, the untouched food glinting in the background.
Nobody was thinking about food. Not tonight.
All eyes were fixed on the large projector outside, broadcasting every second of the event to the students gathered outside, watching intensely.
The crowd buzzed with anticipation, waiting to see what the Aces had planned for the night.
The door opened, and Hades walked in last, calm, composed, his expression unreadable.
The chatter outside died down instantly.
Across the table, Morgan leaned back in her seat, a smirk tugging at her lips as her cold eyes locked with his.
“Well, look who finally decided to show up,” She said.
Hades didn’t respond, only took his seat opposite her, his fingers brushing over the rim of his glass.
Trevor, standing near the head of the table, glanced between them before clearing his throat.
“Alright, everyone,” Trevor began, his tone carrying the authority of tradition.
“As part of the annual ritual, tonight’s Aces representing us in the tournament will be Hades and Morgan.”
The announcement sent murmurs through the students and loud cheers echoed from outside.
Hades and Morgan’s eyes didn’t waver. They both stared at each other like this was a do or die moment.
“What’s with the glare?” Hades asked mockingly, swirling his drink. “Aren’t you having fun? Because I am.”
“I’m not here to play,” Morgan replied coolly, his voice low and calm. “I’m here to win.”
Hades tilted his head, that wicked grin deepening. “You really think you can beat me? I can’t wait to watch you lose, Morgan. Don’t worry, I’m going to play till you’re satisfied.”
“Keep dreaming,” She muttered, leaning forward, the edge in his eyes cutting right through her.
The tension was electric, a battle of pride and ego before the actual game even began.
“Can we skip the foreplay and get this over with?” Hyce said, rolling his eyes as he stepped forward with a sleek black box in his hands.
Its weight alone seemed to command silence.
He set it down in the middle of the table.
“As usual, the rules stand. The two Aces will draw their fate for tonight’s challenge.”
Trevor nodded to him, and Hyce opened the box, revealing a set of cards.
He spun a silver penknife across the table between Hades and Morgan and the blade clattered, spun, and finally pointed straight at Morgan.
“Ladies first, huh?” A sly smirk curved her lips.
She slipped her hand into the box, drew a card, and handed it over to Hyce. Hyce gave it to Hades.
“Let’s see what we’re doing tonight, Morgan. Mm.”Hades said, opening the card.
His gaze flicked over the words before a faint grin appeared at the corner of his mouth.
He looked up at her, eyes dark and dangerous.
“The game is…” He paused deliberately, voice carrying through the room.
Hugo looked at him and from his expression, he loves what he’s seeing which means, the game is extremely dangerous.
Immediately Hades flipped the card across the screen for the students watching to see. Gasps echoed from the hall. Outside, the students screamed in shock and excitement.

Scarlett almost faints as Liam’s grip tightens on her shoulder wanting to crush her bone , she trembles as her gaze meets his cold darkened eyes .
“I-I ”
” Shut up ” he snaps ” how dare you sneak into my company pretending to be an employee, is that how desperate you are for my attention.
She shrinks back at his harsh tone ” I can explain li- ”
” If I hear my name from yours filthy mouth , I’ll cut your tongue off “
Scarlett gasps in shock, his hardened expression told her that he wasn’t joking at all .
” Bae what’s going on” Camilla asks looking lost , it was as if she was watching a movie and they both acted like she wasn’t at their front
Liam walks up to her and hugs her , patting her hair ” it’s nothing seriously okay , come let me take you to the car ”
She nods feeling butterflies in her stomach, she holds his hand leaning on him .
” Take this lady to my office, make sure she doesn’t leave ” he said to his bodyguards and leaves with Camilla in his arms .
Scarlett watches their retreating figure with teary eyes , they looked so perfect together like they walked right out of k drama .
” Ma’am let’s go ” one of the bodyguards said in his stern voice
She gathers herself, blinking back her tears and follows them.
Outside Camilla enters the car still confused, back in there Liam and that strange girl looked like something she does not want to acknowledge.
” Liam who is that girl to you ? ”
” Don’t worry about that , I’ll call you later ” he said closing the door and the driver zooms off
Back in the office Scarlett was pacing up and down nervously, she has not gathered enough strength to face Liam again … Suddenly bumping into him today is definitely a nightmare
The door opens and Liam enters with a cold aura , it was like the room temperature dropped…. She shrinks back in fear seeing the dark shadows looming over him .
” The cheater finally comes back after four years ” he smirks seating down majestically on his chair
Scarlett folds her fist nervously ” well I — ”
” And the most amazing part is that she sneaked into my company without me knowing”
She gulps ” it’s a misunderstanding” she explains how she landed here
Liam looked at her with raised brows ” so it’s you the COCTO ex CEO recommended to my company uh , well how unfortunate”
” Pls don’t let our personal life interfer with work , I need this job seriously” she begged
He chuckles dryly ” personal life ?? You betrayed me openly so there’s nothing personal about it ”
” How heartless are you, after cheating on him and trying to pin the pregnancy on me and suddenly shows up after missing for four years asking me for a job in my company ” he said glaring at her , he wanted her to feel the pain that he went through and here is the opportunity
Scarlett bows her head , she has gotten tired of trying to convince everyone that she never cheated.. liam was her first and last lover , she had nobody before and after him so why he suddenly claims that ahe betrayed him is what she couldn’t understand.
” Pls I beg you let me keep this job “
He smirks ” I’m going to make your stay here so miserable that you would wish never stepping your feet here ”
” I will accept everything pls I need this job ” she said trying to ignore the aching in her heart
Liam scoffs, she was really desperate to have this job …. What happened to that child she was trying to pin on him anyway , he scans her from head to toe almost tempted to ask about the baby but he held himself.
” I’m still not convinced, kneel and beg me ”
She looks at him in shock, he must be joking right … His blank expression told her a huge no
Scarlett bites her lips picturing Aiden’s cute face in her mind °for my son° she thought and kneels down
” Pls sir I need this job”
He smirks enjoying the view ” very well stand up ”
” Thank you sir ” she said in relief
He lop smiled ” you will continue to work here on one condition… From now on you will be my personal finance employee (direct spokesperson of the department to him ) I’m sure you know what that means …. Relaying my messages to the department and vice versa, your cubicle will be right there *points to the far end of his office* you will resume this new post first thing tomorrow morning, indigo my secretary will fill you in on more information ”
Scarlett looks at him mouth opened in shock, it was already difficult for her to work in the same company with him not to talk of the same office!
” Sir I – ”
” You’re dismissed ”
She bows reluctantly and leaves
Liam smirks ” you’ve fallen into my trap Scarlett, I’ll make sure to crush you just like you did to me ”
Back then when they were still lovers , Liam planned on proposing to her against his mother’s wishes … He was madly in love with her then and too blinded to see the hypocrite she was. He almost told her his family generational secret, something his mom didn’t even know about untill she married his dad . This secret revealed the leech Scarlett was , he wanted to tell her before he proposed that’s when she told him , she was pregnant and hell broke loose
Liam sighs pushing thoughts of her far from his mind , he sends for Rylan who enters few moments later
Rylan looks at him puzzled as he felt his accusing and angry stare on him
“What’s wrong “
” You knew she worked here right ”
Rylan pauses swearing inwardly, that girl failed to keep her promise of avoiding Liam
” Look I only found out yesterday and I was looking for the perfect time to tell you ” he said smiling nervously
” Shut up”
He glares at Liam knowing he wasn’t saying the full truth ” contact the company engineer to construct a cubicle inside my office right now “
” What are you planning to do with her ” Rylan asks suspicious
” Watch and see “
Back at the finance department, Scarlett seat quietly at her cubicle lost in thought she knew that Liam meant everything he said and the thought scares her
Crystal swirls her chair closer , their cubicle were opposite each other …..
” Are you okay scarl , you have been absent minded since ”
” It’s nothing serious crystal ”
Crystal nudges her ” come-on, tell me ”
” Well the CEO made me his personal finance employee ” she said sighing
” What ! You’re joking right “
The look and Scarlett face told her no
She looks at her confused ” what happened, did you do anything that made him happy? How did you even meet him ”
Scarlett sighs rubbing her forehead ” look crystal that is story for another day , I’ll explain everything to you when the time is right ”
” Okay no problem, just don’t do anything to make him angry okay … You do not want to see his pysco state ” crystal said patting her shoulder

At the mall, Scarlett looks through the show glass for a perfect derco to go with her bedside table
” Well look who we have here ” a voice said from behind
She looks back to see Yvonne dressed fashionably carrying some shopping bags
” Ohhh ”
Yvonne smirks eyeing her with disgust ” you really have no shame sister , after bringing our family name to the mud you’re supposed to hide in a hole and never come out ”
” Can we not do this here , yes I brought the family’s name to the mud and there’s nothing I can do about it ” Scarlett said sighing, her entire body was aching seriously all she wanted was to go home and lie down
“How pathetic, you even admit it ” Yvonne said rasing her voice attracting onlookers
” After cheating on your boyfriend life must had been difficult for you right , now you’re sleeping around with old men ”
🗣️ Damn that’s loud
🗣️This pretty lady is a slut , oh my gosh
🗣️ She really has no shame , old men eww
🗣️ And she’s a cheater ! How low of her
Yvonne smirks in triumph, onlookers were already backing her up and criticizing Scarlett
” Really Yvonne” Scarlett said, she clearly heard what the onlookers said ” you’re better than this ” she turns to leave
Yvonne drags her back roughly by her hair
” Ouch let go off me ”
She smirks ” what of that unfortunate bastard child you tried to pin on your boyfriend uh , lemme guess you aborted the thing because the main dad denied it ”
Something sparked in Scarlett, she almost lost her sanity …. Her hands flew in the air and landed hardly on Yvonne’s cheek
Onlookers gasps
Yvonne stumbles back from the force and her shopping bag fell in the process , immediately two huge shiny pink dildo fell out …. Two minutes of silence from everyone as they stare at the abnormally large dildo
🗣️ Oh my God!!!!!!!
🗣️ Is that ….. *Faints*
🗣️ Where is she planning to put it … Don’t tell me it’s in the p+×sy *screams *
🗣️ She is the real slut here
🗣️ A trained pr●stituted , a normal human can’t use this size of dildo
🗣️ Like how large is her p+×sy , I can’t even lift the dildo up cause it’s too big and heavy
Scarlett smirks as she eyes the enormous shiny pink dildo on the floor
” Who is the shameless slut now ”
Yvonne bows her head in shame and tries to cover her face cause people were already videoing right from the moment the d¡ldo fell on the floor ….

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
“And no one will ever find out the certain truth,” Marko rose like a monarch from his desk, picking his walking cane and stepping out of the desk, standing in front of the lady who still has the dark grin curled on her lips tightly.
Eyes are down, but at the same time, she’s looking up, typical of a horror show villain character.
Marko reached for her hair with his right hand, rubbing fondly.
Her grin widened.
“You want anything right now?” He asked, and her grin disappeared instantly.
“You pushed me with your walking cane the other day, and I had to crawl to my room in pretence cos the guards were there.” She glared.
“That same day, I contemplated giving you to Thaddeus as his second wife,” Marko smiled, walking past her to the window of that room where he stood and stared out creepily, his cane pressing the rug on the ground.
Renata walked fast to him.
“No! You know you can’t do that! Who’s gonna get married to that bald thing? His head is enough to weave nightmares for me nightly! That’s like everlasting punishment which I won’t allow to last cos I’d just kill him in his sleep!” She snapped.
“I’m only using Thaddeus, you know he’s never gonna be the Don… It’s Leo or no one else, but Thaddeus is cunning too I can’t underestimate him. If he starts suspecting my support is fake, he might snap. Giving you to him as a wife would make his defense weak.” Marko said.
Renata sighed, bringing another memory card out of her pocket which she dropped on the desk.
“I made a deal with one of the guards in his mansion, and I was able to get my hands on what went down at his mansion yesterday. He slept with Island!” She laughed.
“Well that’s not surprising… He’s desperate for a male child, so he’d do anything. He’s probably just using Island too.” Marko shrugged.
He’s still standing by that window.
“He’s using her, and we’re gonna use her too. Penny and her daughter mustn’t know about Island’s pregnancy till she gives birth cos I’m sure the bîtch is already pregnant. Just hold Thaddeus down with Island’s secret pregnancy, and that part will be solved,” Renata said.
Marko chuckled, taking a short look outside the window.
“What would I have done without you, Renata.”
“Nothing! Aren’t I your major backbone? Gosh, and my nieces and nephews are so annoying! I badly wanted to snap Bobby’s neck when he was wailing around about Wendy. He has no idea I’m actually the one who sent that mobster to poison Wendy’s coke and sleep with her…” She laughed.
Her laughter was short though, then she gasped.
“Robert and Cardi! You should watch the footage! They were wild in the bathroom and I won’t lie I got wet watching it!” She said.
“Just get a man to satisfy your s+xual needs then kill him afterwards. It’s that simple. You’ve done it many times” Marko shrugged.
“Oh…I also made them believe Vera was actually obsessed with Santos, but they’d never find out she was actually genuinely in love with him. He was the only person my stupid sister loved in this world, unlike me who can’t even love anyone… I cooked up stories about how you killed my two lovers…”
At this point, she bursted into laughter again.
Marko just watched his deranged daughter with proud eyes as she displayed her madness.
“Me? Two lovers? The sound of it is making me wanna puke! I don’t even love myself.” She scoffed.
“The Ivanna girl is full of respect for me too! Aunt Renata here, Aunt Renata there! You should have seen the look on her face when I gave her my jacket on the night of the teaparty. I intentionally showed her Leo’s chubby pictures cos I knew she’d surely mention it. I thought Leo would kill her for it, but turns out he’s far gone. He doesn’t even know the daughter of who she is. He’s rapidly losing his head and forgetting Vera’s legacy. Not good.” She said.
Now she’s sitting on Marko’s desk, playing with his electronic pen.
“Leo is coming back, you know I always have a reverse plan.” Marko replied and left the window.
He sat back behind the desk.
“What exactly do you plan to do with him? Whatever you’re planning, be efficient with it cos he’s still the smart Leo.” She whispered.
“I have you, so there should be no mistakes.” Marko leaned forward.
“Right!” Renata snapped.
“The next mission is my target. Robert will be out completely. You’ll take care of that one… Just break his spine and make it inoperable. I don’t want him dead, I want him on a wheelchair, and by then if Bacardi still doesn’t learn, you push him off some cliff.” Marko analyzed.
“Good sport, and Leo?” Renata asked curiously.
“I’ll handle him myself during the mission. There are many arrows after him. He played Lissa Armando, and I’m sure she has plans to get back at him. Monika wants him dead cos he’s Vera’s child. Thaddeus wants him dead cos he desperately wants to be a Don in full.” Marko explained.
“You still didn’t answer the question, father.” Renata said.
“But he won’t die. I won’t let him. Like I said,…I have a plan uglier than death for him to bring him back to his senses. The next mission on Saturday is a Deadpool mission, in Hydra forest.” Marko smirked.

[Blue Dinners And Suites, 9pm]
In all the building, there are only two people on the topmost floor.
The first floor to the fourth one below this one is empty too. Leonardo bought it all out just for tonight, and it’s already serving it’s purpose, only on that floor.
Their suite dinner table has eaten and uneaten dishes. Dishes that cost a fortune if calculated, and drinks that’d probably feed a fair population of people.
On the table, there are sprinkled red roses in-between the plates… smelling sweet and generously honeyed.
On the table candle cups, there are gold-colored candles, burning gently inside the cups and smelling like vanilla.
Ivanna kept inhaling the smell, wondering how he was able to do this again. Just how?
“It’s specially made…by me. The candles.” He said when he saw how she’s staring.
“You studied the art of making candles?” She smiled, chewing the cheese in her mouth.
“Not really, I just watched it for a minute. Vera took me with her to a torture weapon vault when I was 5, and of all the weapons, the candle caught my attention, so I watched for few minutes and actually mastered it.” He explained, chewing cheese too.
“Candle? Torture weapon?” She blinked.
“You forgot what it did to Island?” He replied instantly.
“Oh!” She gasped. “Yes! I remember now! The sulphur candle wax! Her leopard print! But she got curing ointment for it from the underworld hub so it’s not really potent.”
“Not potent?” Leonardo smirked. “Wait for few more months. Deception works that way.”
“Wait…babe!..” Ivanna leaned in. “You mean her spots are still coming back to her skin? Her healing is just temporary?”
Instead of replying, Leonardo chuckled, drinking wine.
“Damnit! You’re fuckin cruel but I love it…” She pouted, leaving her seat.
She rounded the table to go to his side, dropping her weight on his laps.
He shifted, making her comfortable in that spot, but instead of continuing her meal, she stared at him.
“What?” He whispered.
“So…you can produce candles to torture, but you can also create them to smell like vanilla. I guess you added vanilla flavor to the process, must have been so hard….all for me? Aww…you deserve a good fûck.” She kissed him, and he groaned.
“Stop testing my patience, Joy.” He said, and she giggled, kissing him again…deeper.
She grinded her arse on his crotch, intentionally.
He grabbed that arse, making it stay still in that place.
She felt what he wanted her to feel…his big bulge.
“Feel your dessert?” He whispered.
“Very well, and I can’t wait to have it in me.” She replied, and his eyes closed as he smiled.
“Do you realize you have small eyes? Your eyes are always almost closed whenever you smile for me. Your angular features just defines it so well.” She said.
“And?” He went blank.
“You should tell me something too!” She snapped.
“Like your t1ts are round? The n+ples are temptingly brown? I was so mad about them I had to draw them…” He confessed.
“Was? Not anymore?” She smirked.
“You’re doing this on purpose…” He replied, and she laughed again, kissing his eyes fondly.
“Wait…you talked about drawing them…you draw too?” She blinked, caressing his brows.
His hands are under her dress, caressing her thighs too.
“I learnt to draw weapons when I turned 4. I learnt the drawings for six months to get familiar with them, and after six months, I began carrying the weapons, reason why I’m the best Sniper in Chicago till now.” He said.
“You began carrying weapons when you turned 4 years and six months? F+k.” Ivanna muttered.
“Don’t get emotional,” he teased.
“No that’s not it! So…you drew my t1ts, where are the drawings as we speak?” She asked.
“Gone with the burnt Mummy’s Room. I have you here with me, what use would they be?” He replied.
She smiled widened, and she kissed him on the lips again…
“I love this interactive side of you so much! Too bad, tommorow you’ll snap back to your bossy side again and might even try to hit me” she whispered seriously.
He was rubbing her ear with his other hand as he replied…
“You behave witchy at times, Joy, but that ends in the past. From now on, I’d rather avoid you than hit you when you act witchy again.”
“Avoid me? Can you handle that?” She rolled eyes.
“Don’t start!” He laughed.
“No! Dodo! Tell me, can you handle avoiding me?” She threw her legs beside the chair they’re on top.
“Dodo?” He frowned.
“Leonar…do-do.” She winked.
“Stop, sounds offensive…” He cringed.
“Ohh…you just unlocked a new name! You know I love annoying you. What am I your witch for? You can’t throw me away!” She grinned.
“Joy….” He warned, but she wasn’t listening, so he just left her to her silly mood.
“Why did you become a stuntwoman?” He suddenly asked.
She stopped laughing, getting back to her serious side.
“I’ve always loved stunting, even as a kid… I loved trying out dangerous things without caring about how it’d end, and I got hurt a number of times. Then I grew up and heard about stunting, that I could actually be stunt-doubles for action movie actors, so I went to the school for more knowledge, and I graduated with a first-class, but you know….”
“Money and connections will get you far. Despite my brilliance, the directors would rather bring influential stuntwomen to their set than me. I’d have been successful if the Armandos didn’t tamper with us.” She explained.
Leonardo touched her nose, and that made her smile…
“And if you met your real parents today?” He asked.
“I have a lotta questions for them, but the first one would be why they abandoned me inside a river where Mummy Erica and daddy Leroy found me at.” She replied.
“A river?” He asked.
“Yup, Moses recreation. I was found in a really big basket in a river, covered in blood, and that just makes me wonder if my parents are even still alive…” she smiled, sighing.
She stood from his laps, snapping her fingers loudly at his face.
“Enough of my chats, babe…” She took off her coat, throwing it off.
It landed on his face, and he slowly took it away.
When he saw her again, she was already at the staircase which leads to the top pool of the floor.
She stood there, striking a seductress pose. The net gown is now out in all it’s ensemble.
The pearls which decorated the burst area and the shoulder line, the way the hips and waist are snatched, and the way half of her laps are out. She’s literally naked.
One easy tear will take that thing away from her body, and that’s the major reason he bought this for her.
And her silly self loves it.
It shows in the way she’s carrying herself inside with the killer heels.
She’s still standing on that pose, waiting for him to hit the music, but he waited a bit, just watching her, having a fill of her again.
The hair which stopped at the middle of her back, the face which is prettier than any other he has encountered.
The small lips he’s addicted to, the pointed nose, the pointed chin too.
The delicate neck and fragile shoulders, perky round tits, flattest tummy even after the food they had.
He’s seeing a sneak preview of her beautiful p+xxy under the net too…so damn enchanting he already wants to suck the cl+t.
Then…her snatched waist.
She’s naturally snatched. Her legs—pretty, straight legs, and the small feet and toes.
Perfection? Nonsense.
She’s more than that, and now he even imagined her in a wedding dress. How prettier would she be?
How gorgeous would their future kids be?
How hot would a tattoo of her name look on his d+k?
He lost his senses as he sat, thinking… pondering silently.
His head was whistling as he finally hit the music remove on the dinner table…. slowly.
The song vibrated.
‘Shut Up And Listen’ by… The Wknd.
She didn’t miss the intro, didn’t miss the rhythm.
She moved with the dirty symphony of the words in the song, flipping her hair, rotating her waist, bulging the hips, bending, letting him catch a glimpse of her p+xxy then standing to raise a leg over the railings.
A finger between her lips, a wink from her left eye, a bite to her lip, and another flip of her hair.
Her heels screeched on the marbled staircase when she twisted, turning her back, then pulling up the net gown in a bunch.
She went down again, her ass shot up. The red lights caught a glimpse of her cl+t, but she didn’t allow it for long before coming back up.
She restarted the moves from the start, climbing the staircase as she did, and when she was almost at the top, she faced him, then went down in a full squat.
Her p+xxy showed, completely. She touched with her thumb, then brought the thumb to her lips to lick, flashing him a smile before making another turn, starting a slow twerk.
Dead, or alive? Leonardo has no idea which side he’s on right now.
He just knows he’s somewhere where a dangerous night vixen is performing for his eyes alone.
And goddamn, if anyone else saw this scene with him, he’d kill whoever it is , bury him, then f+k his woman on top of his grave.
Sick? You could call it that, but it’s a kink he has had for a while now. He wants to f+k her on an enemy grave.
Maybe Monika’s grave?
As he watched her, that kink broadened, but more than the kink, he’s concerned about the trouble looming between his legs.
His c+k, it’s about to burst, and even without seeing it, he’s sure he’s leaking pr£cvm already.
He could feel it, plus the whistling that kept sounding in his head, like his organ of thinking got harvested.
He snapped.
Ivanna was whining and twisting on the last staircase when he stood and yanked off his own shirt.
He went to her.
Three long steps to climb the staircase, and he grabbed her closest wrist, dragging her down the staircase.
She followed, breathing heavily, breathing so hard… He took her to the outer balcony.
From there, they can see the city of Chicago,. Only the railings separated them from the world outside.
Just like he imagined, one single tear was enough to take the gown away from her body.
She gasped, but it was short-lived cos in the next minute, she was facing the balcony rails n@kedly.
He grabbed handcuffs that’s hanging on the metal railings, and he cuffed her hands to the railings, bending her over there like that.
“You’ve been planning this for months, Nardo….” She whispered, looking back at him.
Her heels is still on. She’s not allowed to take them off.
She watched him peel off his pants as usual, enjoying the view till he’s all bare for her.
He rubbed her ar$e with one hand, then slapped it with the other hand.
The sound travelled through the night, echoing in the balcony.
“F+k!” She sounded, but it was only just the start.
Another slap echoed in the air when his palm came down on her arse again, loud and resounding.
“Damn! Daddy!” She m+aned, her ar$e bouncing. The Sting went from her ar$e to her p+xy, and it got wetter…better…hotter…ready.
Her cuffs grumbled against the metal railings of the balcony. Her heels stood straight too, as if it’s waiting for him with her.
His two fingers curved over her ar$e, going down to her p+xy to touch.
He rubbed. Once, twice, then slapped her backside again.
“Daddy! Daddy please!” She cried, her hair already tangling with the metal railings.
The fact that she’s looking at the city of Chicago right now is another turn on.
She’s weeping madly down there, and Leonardo knew what he was doing when he chose this spot cos he’s currently collecting her wetness in his fingers, still rubbing.
“Tell me…” He started…
“Anything, daddy.” She m+aned, his one finger entering and disappearing from her c+nt.
She whimpered, greedily rubbing herself on his fingers for friction.
He held her waist to stop her.
“Next time anyone asks who am I? You say?” He whispered in her ears.
She said nothing, so he slapped her ar$e again, the sound making her cry out loudly.
“Daddy!” She m●aned, sleekly.
“Yes, mama. I’m your daddy in bed, but to others?” He replied, rubbing his pink cap on her pink entrance.
Teasingly, then he slapped her wet p+xxy with the c+k.
“Ahh! Nardo! Please….”
“Say it…what I really am?” He slapped her p+xxy with his c+k again.
“My mannn!” She m●@ned, strangled but loud enough for the breeze to carry.
He slapped the ar$e again, and again. Now, the shade of redness is deep and looks painful.
He rubbed the wetness he collected from her p+xxy on the ar$e, soothing the redness.
“My mannn…” She m●@ned again.
“Right, your man. Yours…” He held her throat from the back, gently.
Her view of the city became clearer. She saw passing cars by the road…they look like toys…she feels closer to the sky cos the stars are bigger here. The moon looks unconventionally huge, too.
Her br+sts pressed the metal railings, and they hardened more than they already are.
“F+k… Nardo.”
“And now…you want your man to do what to you…” He caressed her neck.
“F+k me.” She whispered.
“F+k you where?”
“My p+xy. F+k my p+xxy like yours, daddy. Make it weep more…. Make me scream and — oh my f+kin gawd!!!”
He was already inside her before she could finish that last sentence, and her head spun, saliva dried in her mouth…her feet watered in her heels as the c+k reached her belly.
She held the railings too despite the handcuffs holding her to it, and he began thrusting.
This wasn’t the last time at the yacht when he took it slow at first.
His thrusts were killing right from the first one, and her p+xy was pulsating, fluttering as she received the poundings.
Her screams filled the air.
He angled her ar$e in a pliant position, ramming into her again.
“F+k! Yes! Babe…yes yes yes!”
“Can’t f+kin stop!”
“Don’t pause! That place! That f+kin place!”
“Harder! Yeah… goddammit faster!”
“Fv?kkk!!!!”
Her cuffs grumbled harder on the railings, and her hair pulled with it inside the web of tangles.
He stretched an hand down, rubbing her c+nt as he slammed deeper, pounding her body against the rails.
“Damn!! Joy…” He groaned, his legs shaking, fingers faster.
“Nardo!” She whispered.
“Yes, mama! Gosh!” He groaned, letting go of her neck.
He squeezed her br+sts, hard till she screamed again, his movements turning brutal she could feel it in her w0mb, hitting and hitting.
He’s about to c+m…she felt it…
The way his movements are now brutal, the way he’s m●@ning too, the way he let go of her neck to switch to her b👀bs. She knows.
“Ahh f+k!!” She screamed, shaking with him as sweat covered them both despite the pouring snow.
“You want me to c+m inside your sweet little p+xy, darling?” He grunted, holding it.
“Please pour! Can’t wait to feel the hotness! Give it to me I’m on the pills!” She shouted, voice seizing.
And she got what she asked immediately.
The hotness. The sweetness. The liquid.
“Damnit! Damn… Joy…. Joy…” He chanted, his body trembling more as he released the shot.
It flushed through her insides, and she had to hold the railings tighter.
He held her body to his own, his c+k still in her as they both caught their breaths, trying to breathe.
They stood in that position for like five minutes, taking in the city air before he uncuffed her.
The cuffs fell on the ground, and her arms went around his neck.
His hands went curved on her waist.
The kiss happened, again.
Hot. Ravenous. Starving.
Tongues slipping, lips licking, m+×ns hitting groans.
They let go reluctantly, then their arms went around each other in a tight affectionate hug.
Her face on his chest, his arms completely around her the way she likes. His chin on her scattered hair.
Their n+ked bodies communicated.
“That was so bad,” she whispered.
“Good bad, or bad bad?” He replied, kissing her hair.
“Good…bad” She looked up.
“Such a tease,” he replied, lifting her up in his arms.
From there, they went to the suite bathroom where they went two more rounds, no kidding.
By the time they came out of the bathroom, she couldn’t walk properly. Too sore.
He had to dress her up, bribe her with sweet tea and honey cookies before taking her to bed for her sleep.
They wore matching pyjamas, and she’s the first to sleep off which he understands.
He did her bad.
He smiled as he stared at her peaceful sleepy face.
Anyone would take her for a gentle, patient woman like this.
He hugged her head to his chest again, covering her totally with the duvet as her arms went around him.
He received a text from Ginny and Tierney, and he checked his phone.
• Done, finally.
“Good,” he muttered.
Another message popped up from the German spies.
• Found Marko’s German ally point. It’s a Governor. He has the evidence of his slush funds, so the governor pledged alliance to him for the sake of keeping his secret.
After reading, he dialled that spy.
“Don’t rat it out yet. If you do, Marko gets suspicious. Wait till tomorrow when the other spies gathers the remaining twelve, then the exposure can happen at once.” He said.
“I understand, Ghost, but the hidden three points? If we don’t get those ones, then even if we destroy the ten known ones, it might be meaningless.” The spy replied.
“I know, but like I said, y’all focus on the ten…the hidden three is mine to find.” Leonardo replied.
“Understood.”
The call ended, and Ivanna peeped out from under the duvet.
“What are you doing without me? Communicating with your spies?” She said sleepily.
“Was thinking I’d tell you my plans by daybreak. I wanted you to sleep.” He replied sincerely.
She sat up immediately.
“Sleep? When you’re disturbed? I’m your official big pet, so don’t dare tell me to sleep when you know you work better with me. I need everything…right now!” She said.
Leonardo narrated the plan, starting from the ally points to the end.
“The more I think I know your granddad, the more confused I get. What the hell is ally point again? And the remaining three is hidden?”
“Yeah,” he got down from the bed.
“I gave your sister and Tierney a task on the points, and they submitted already. Wanna go check together?” He stretched an hand for her.
She immediately took it, and they left the room together, the anklet dancing beautifully on her ankle.

[House Of Esposito, Sandra’s Condo]
The guys are here with Bacardi. Everyone literally, except Sandra who’s the owner of the condo herself.
She’s nowhere around, so they intentionally came here to make a mess in he’d absence.
Inside her mini bar, they sat round a table, drinking.
“I still can’t believe you had that huge meat in your mouth earlier, and your throat didn’t tear? Now I know why you’re so hooked on him!” Bobby lamented, downing his full glass of tequila. He looks drunk.
“Can you stop talking my moment with Rob already?” Bacardi scoffed, sliding another glass of tequila over to him on the table.
“It’s not a moment if the three of us were there to watch, live and direct. Dude literally held eyes with us before shoving it down your throat!” Stanley snapped.
“I think I know know why Bob doesn’t like you,” Bacardi pointed a long finger at him.
“Thanks for being on my side, Cardi!” Bobby grinned.
“Seriously, Miss Cardi, that was huge. Accolades.” Nino talked.
“You too? This is so embarrassing,” Bacardi covered her face funnily with an hand, then she took a shot of bitter lemonade and downed it.
“Saturday is the after tommorow, any predictions on how the mission will end? Beginning of the year missions are always tough, hope I won’t die!” Bobby said drunkenly, unwrapping a bubble gum into his mouth.
“Stop saying shit, brother. This won’t be our first beginning of the year mission,” Bacardi cautioned.
“I heard we’ll all be on the roster. Seems Don Thaddeus is determined to bring Monika down this once, can’t wait to see what’s in stock.” Nino nodded, shaking the alcohol in his cup. He hasn’t drank a drop.
Since the positioned tea at the teaparty, he became paranoid about any drink at all.
Even water takes a lot of effort before he drinks.
Stanley nearly talked again, but Robert slid into the house, and they all stood from their chairs.
“D+ckson?” Stanley blinked.
“Rob!” Bacardi gasped.
“The Padrino said I could return to prepare for Saturday’s mission. Couldn’t find any of you in your apartments, so a driver told me y’all are gathered here…I came.” Robert explained, glossing with happiness.
Bacardi rushed to give him a welcoming hug, and he returned the affection immediately, lifting her up and swaying her till she laughed.
“Thought I was free after Ghost and his Whip Huntress, but here’s D+ckson and Cardi.” Stanley sighed.
“It’s Robert, not D+ckson.” Robert corrected, settling with them on the same table.
He sat right beside Cardi, and while they drank with an hand on the table, they held their second hands tightly under the table.
“I’ve decided to start calling you D+ckson, now you’re stuck!” Stanley laughed.
“You’re actually intolerable,” Robert frowned.
“He’s a bî+ch, never takes corrections.” Bobby said.
“Look who’s talking,” Stanley faced him. He’s drunk now too.
Nino was having his time of the night as he stared at them, smiling.
“Gee, are they always like this?” Robert asked him.
“You haven’t even seen anything. Mouse and Cat” Nino laughed.
“Just watch them, it’s more entertaining that way.” Bacardi said.
Then… Sandra entered.
Her eyes widened first, seeing the mess of alcohol bottles and spilled drinks on the ground.
Bottle caps around, there’s even a shattered bottle on the floor.
“What the hell! I had this place cleaned just this afternoon! Why is my Condo the drinking spot? How did y’all even get key card!” She shouted.
“Dang!” Bacardi raised the key card she’s holding.
“You forgot I have your card?”
“Sis!!” Sandra stumped her foot.
“You actually never allow a little mess inside this place you clean freak. Thought Leo was the only freak but you’re actually worse, so we decided to make the mess on your behalf!” Bobby said.
“Stop talking!” Sandra threw her sneaker at him.
He caught it and flung it away.
“I just hate y’all!” Sandra grunted and started calling the cleaning staffs to come for cleaning immediately.
“We hate you too!” Stanley laughed.
“Sorry on their behalf, Sandra.” Robert said.
Nino was quiet.
Sandra expected him to talk like everyone else, but he didn’t.
His voice didn’t come.
She left the bar and went to sit at a chair by the wall.
Straight opposite to Nino’s angle, so their eyes met.
She paused, unable to feel her chest for a second. Then…the heartbeats returned… losing rhythms.
Losing alignment. She was hyperventilating.
Nino didn’t even look away. He made it worse by his continuous staring.
She gulped, and when Nino saw the movement of her throat, he smirked slightly and turned away.
Sandra shut her eyes, cussing herself.

[Armando Constructions, 3am]
Lissa didn’t go home.
Since yesterday, she has been here, signing paperwork, reviewing contracts and attending both virtual meetings and zoom meetings with the staffs and contractors.
She surveyed and supervised the model buildings, weeded out the kaxy staffs and replaced site workers who’re slacking off on their register.
Just like Emma suggested, she got herself busy, so she’s only just leaving the office right now.
Emma and Island are behind her, and as they walked to the valet park in silence, Island was smiling to herself.
Secretly, she was rubbing her belly too. There’s nothing stopping this pregnancy, and if it happens, does that mean she’d become Lissa’s stepmother? Too good.
They entered the car, and as usual, Emma and Lissa left her out of their conversation.
“The first mission of the year is on Saturday. Roster isn’t out yet, but according to rumors circulating in the mob, almost all the mobsters with be going. They’re going for Monika this time… It’ll be led by Sir Leo himself, and Don Thaddeus will be the overseer from the shadows.” Emma announced.
“If the mission is a success, the success goes in my father’s name, isn’t it?” Lissa said.
“Exactly, Miss.” Emma replied.
“It’d be a success,” Lissa muttered, winding down to receive fresh air as Emma drive out of the park into the fleeting city.
“But Leo and Stanley are dying in that mission.” Lissa said.
“Absolutely. They have to pay for what they did to you.” Emma replied with a glad smile.
Island reclined on her seat, wondering what bolt loosened in Emma’s head settings.
Lissa killed her whole family in one night and took her in as a lowly maid, and she’s still this loyal?
Stupid. Very stupid.

[House Of Esposito, Next Day~General Cyber Hall]
Tierney and Ginny are at work again. There have been no breaks since the day broke. Only food they were allowed to have is burgers.
The pressure is high.
With Leonardo inside the hall with them, they’re both sweating.
Ginny’s fear of Leonardo decreased a lot, but she’s still scared cos if she messes things uo tommorow, then he might just kill her for real.
She’s solving the mathematically illustrated puzzles for the ninth time, and she’s getting it right each time.
As for Tierney, he’s still hacking the puzzle game in form of gilded vaults, and he’s also getting it right everytime, but anytime he gets done, Leonardo says AGAIN.
As he gave directions, he’s also using his earbuds, talking to the spies and interchanging buds as they beep.
So far, the alley points of seven countries have been discovered, left with three now which would surely be discovered before dusk.
Renata entered the hall, smiling innocently when she saw what’s going on on the screens of the youngsters.
“Impressive. When they call you both computer brains, it’s not for jokes, obviously.” She said.
“What are you doing here?” Leonardo queried, not even looking at her.
“Are you still keeping malice cos of the chubby case? It’s nit that deep, Leo. Don’t—”
“Aunt Renata, this isn’t about your weakness anymore.” He cut her off, finally looking at her.
“What’s not about my weakness anymore?”
“My dislike for you is not about your weakness, at this point. There’s just something repulsive that I can’t point out. I dislike your presence, it’s upsetting.” He said flatly.
“What!” Renata acted hurt, tears gathering in her eyes. “But Leo—”
“Leave the hall, I’m busy.” He cut her off, and she nodded, sniffling.
She gave him one last look before leaving the hall.
She did a little walk down the corridor, then she looked at the sky, blinking her eyes twice to make sure her tears don’t fall.
By the time she looked down again, she’s back to her villainous font.
“He’s feeling my darkness that much? That’s not good.” She muttered.
—
[Training Hood]
The roster is out, and as expected, nearly everyone is in the mission, so the hood is full of mobsters who came to warm up against tommorow.
Most are jogging, some doing push ups, some lifting weights.
Ivanna is part of the morning. Leonardo insisted that she should go to his Citadel for her training, but she declined, deciding to come here for Robert’s sake.
She wants to monitor his growth again, and as she did squats, she’s watching him with the side of her eye, and she’s smiling occasionally when he saw he has beat four mobsters in a duel already.
“Go Robert!” She suddenly found herself shouting.
He looked at her, smiling.
“Thank you, big sis!”
“Big sis?” Bacardi and the rest who’re unaware gasped out.
“Will tell you the full story after tommorow,” Robert promised her.
Bobby sat after he finished his warmup, and he opened a bubble gum to throw in his mouth, but Stanley joined him halfway and took the gum, eating it instead.
“Stan!” Bobby spranged up, really angry. He doesn’t joke with his drugs or bubble gum.
“I’m gonna go join Leo at the cafe,” Staley said, chewing nonchalantly like he didn’t just steal the gum.
He left the hood, and Bobby went after him immediately.
“Those two,” Nino sighed, dropping the metal he’s lifting.
He came to sit exactly where Bobby sat earlier, and a bottle of water was instantly placed on his palm.
Looking up, it’s Sandra.
“Noticed you didn’t even drink alcohol yesterday at my Condo. Do you even drink water these days? Still traumatized by the teaparty poisoning?” She said.
He said nothing, so she left the hood.
His eyes went back to the water, and he slowly uncapped, drinking.
He was still drinking when Lissa entered the gym.
As the Don’s daughter, the ordered the exit of everyone else.
There’s a private hood for top mobsters where she can go, but since everyone is here today, she intention came to throw herself around.
As commanded, everyone started leaving the gym.
Ivanna was smiling as she walked past her out of the gym, but Lissa is glaring. A glare that says… Careful, I’d ruin you soon.
Ivanna’s smile didn’t slim out. It’s creepy, dark, unnerving.
Till she left the gym, she kept it up.
Island and Emma walked up to Lissa.
“I badly wanna squash that smile from her face!” Island said.
“Calm down, Betrayer.” Emma said.
Island gave her a sour face.
Lissa was silent. She just started her warmups, with the map of tommorow’s plan in mind.

[Padrino’s Office]
While the mission goers are busy warming up and preparing, Thaddeus is here with Marko.
Marko called him for a private meeting, and Thaddeus literally flew here since Penny is in the spa.
Marko didn’t cut through unnecessary detours. He went straight to the point.
Immediately Thaddeus settled in front of him, he inserted the flashdrive containing his bedtime footage with Island into a system.
As it played, Thaddeus’ eyes came wide. He grabbed the laptop, watching closely like it’s not him in that bed. On top of Island … Shagging her like a slave.
“How did this …”
“Get out?” Marko sighed.
With fear ridden eyes, Thaddeus looked up.
“You fail to realize I control this city and thirteen others, Thaddeus. I know of everything going on in your turf. I know of your spies, I know you killed Ferrari so you could become a brigadier, but I played along. Lately, I found out you were behind the Hertfordshire hotel bombing.” Marko narrated dryly.
The laptop dropped from Thaddeus to the table, his eyes widening more.
Marko grinned.
“Seriously, why do you think I’m feared this much? Why do you think they call me the Madman Of Calabria? Why do you think I’ve been undefeatable for years!”
“Padrino…” Thaddeus’ mind scattered, full of wariness and fear for this beastly man in front him.
Seriously what the f+k??
“It’s simple, Thaddeus, I won’t waste your time cos you need warmup for tomorrow too. If I’m gonna ruin your life, I’ll take the Acting Don position from you, tell your wife you impregnated Island and make her file a divorce, then proceed to send you out of the empire like banishment. Then I’ll take Leroy Cooper who’s currently in New York receiving treatment…. I’ll make him the Don and reshape his family… that’d be after killing Ivanna though cos she’s not a Cooper anyways .” Marko narrated, taking Thaddeus on a rigorous mind-wreck journey.
Thaddeus froze. The imagination ran him mad.
“But I won’t do that…yet. If you know your place and stop being jumpy.” Marko said eventually.
Thaddeus went on his knees, bowing completely without words.
Marko smiled evilly.

[Crimson Cave, 5pm~ Monika’s Hall]
Alone inside the silent hall, Monika sat on her throne, deep in thoughts, and this time, there are streaks of tears in her eyes.
[28 Yrs Ago, River House]
It’s been two days since Monika gave birth to her baby girl, and thankfully, the baby hasn’t had another attack.
Thanks to the midwife who gave them a lifelong supply of ephedra leaves which they grinded and added the juice to Monika’s n1pples.
That way, the baby sucked the leaf juices with br+st milk.
Monika is doing just that today again. She sat in her relaxation bed in the open room. A pillow is by her back, tilting her as she fed the baby.
They’re yet to name her cos Santos is still unsure of which to pick among the twenty names he prepared.
He’s at the foot of the bed where a piano is, and as he watched his wife breastfeeding their baby, he played gently piano tunes.
He’s a pianist apart from his fisherman hustle.
Monika listened with a pretty smile, and the baby cooed in her bossom.
“When you finish playing that line, can you just pick a name for the baby already? I’m getting impatient, Santos.” She said suddenly.
“Jokes on you, I’ve actually settled for one.” Santos smiled.
“Seriously? Then say it!” Monika said impatiently.
“It’s….” Santos stood, smiling.
But that smile wiped off his face when the resounding sound of a gunshot hit the house.
A bullet pierced his head, directly.
His blood splattered on the piano keys and the bed and the floor.
It splattered on the baby and Monika herself too.
“Santos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Monika screamed, clutching her baby tight as horror hit her in the gut.
As Santos hit the ground, the shooter entered from the side window, and merely seeing her walking steps from the ground he lay on…
“Ve…ra…” He muttered before his eyes closed for death.
The figured is masked, but Monika surely heard when Santos called her Vera. Vera is the name of the woman who also loved Santos but he never loved her back, so why….
Santos even said she got married and gave birth to a child called Leonardo already, so why??
Why is she back to torment them??
Masked Vera aimed for her too, but Monika pressed a button by the wall.
An emergency button which opened an emergency door.
She ran inside, tears pouring from her eyes as she sought to protect her baby at all cost.
But she wasn’t lucky, cos before the emergency door could close, Masked Vera entered too.
Monika was unstoppable, till she arrived at the end of the corridor where she picked up a pen and a dusty paper from a basket.
She eventually changed her mind and picked the basket too.
She lay the baby down and quickly wrote a letter…
She tucked the letter in the small box she found in the basket, and she closed the box.
It locked.
She found a necklace in the box too.
A key necklace, and that was when it hit her.
This is Santo’s old necklace, and the kept pendant opens this small box.
It’s like a keepsake he doesn’t use anymore so he dumped it here.
Monika looped the necklace around the neck of the baby too, then she set her in the clothed basket, placing the small box beside her.
She continued her run out of the emergency corridor, and getting to the river behind the house, she placed the basket on it.
When she made sure the river currents already carried the basket far away enough, she looked back, but she immediately received her own share of bullet immediately from Masked Vera.
Monika got shot on the chest.

[Cooper Family House, 7pm]
After enough warmups inside Leonardo’s private gym in his Citadel, Ivanna left the estate and came here for a purpose known to just her.
She stepped into the terrace, picked the door key and opened the front door, stepping into the house.
She didn’t bother turning on the lights. She walked in the darkness like that, and she didn’t stumble for once till she arrived at her room.
She carried a box down from the top of her wardrobe. It’s a box containing her valuables, can only be opened by her own fingerprint.
She opened it, and the only thing inside the box is a smaller box.
Black, old, prehistoric.
She stared at it for a beat, malice glinting in her empty eyes.
Then…she removed her necklace.
Using the key pendant, she opened the box. It slid open easily.
Too easily.
She picked out a folded old letter from inside, and she rubbed the edges with the tip of her fingers.
She has been keeping this since she grew up to know how to read.
According to Erica and Leroy, it was found in the basket with her that day on the river.
A letter, from her real mother.
Ivanna has read it countless times, and now she knows it word for word without even looking, but she opened and letter anyways, reading the short sentence.
• WHEN YOU GROW UP, BABY, FIND LEONARDO ESPOSITO. HIS FAMILY IS THE CAUSE OF OUR PREDICAMENT. TRAP HIM, KILL HIM! I’LL KILL THE MOTHER. IF IT’S DESTINED, WE’LL MEET AGAIN. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, JOY.
Ivanna’s glinting eyes looked up again….more dangerous this time.
She smiled darkly…
“He’s already trapped, mother. Now he’s dying by my hands, tommorow.”

The Wolf King’s Omega – Episode 7&8(Bound by moon, betrayed by fate)By Midnight Sparkles
♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤
The throne room doors opened for the elders. Kael sat on the high seat, back straight, jaw tight. He already sensed something was wrong.
The eldest elder stepped forward, the one with the carved wolf-staff.
“Alpha Kael Draven,” he said, bowing his head just enough to respect rank, not fear. “The Moonbond has awakened in your walls.”
Kael’s expression didn’t change, but his stomach dropped.
“I did not ask for any bond,” he said, voice sharp. “I do not want it.”
The elder’s gaze hardened. “It is not a thing you choose. It chooses you.”
Kael rose to his feet slowly. The guards nearby stiffened, sensing his temper.
“I don’t care for old tales,” he growled. “The Omega girl is nothing. A stray I brought in out of duty.”
“A stray?” the elder said quietly. “Then why do you feel her presence even now?”
Kael clenched his fists. He did feel something, a tug, faint but real, like a whisper he could almost hear. It angered him. It felt like a trap. Like chains.
“She is a threat,” Kael said. “She brings weakness.”
“Or power,” the elder replied. “The Moonbond is fate’s weapon. But fate cuts both ways.”
Kael stepped down from the throne platform.
“I do not need fate,” he said through clenched teeth. “I make my own path.”
The elder studied him with sad eyes. “Be careful, Alpha. Hatred can bind as tightly as love. One day your heart may burn for what your pride rejects.”
Kael turned away. “Remove the girl if you truly fear her,” he snapped. “Or I will.”
The elder’s voice rose, deep and firm.
“You may break bones, Kael Draven. But you cannot break prophecy.”
Kael’s jaw locked. He wanted to tear fate apart with his teeth.
“She will not be my bond,” he muttered. “I will not let her.”
The elder only sighed. “You can fight her. You can fear her. But you cannot outrun the moon.”
***
Later
Lyra sat alone in her tiny room that night, hugging her knees. Her hands still smelled faintly of soap and herbs. Her muscles ached from work, but her chest ached more from the elder’s words.
She didn’t want to ruin anyone.
She didn’t want to be tied to Kael.
Then why did her chest warm when she thought of him?
She hated it. She hated herself for it.
She pressed her palm over her heart, trying to calm it.
Why him? she thought. Why me?
The moonlight spilled through her small window, soft and silver. It touched her skin like a hand. Her breath hitched. Something inside her stirred, deep and wild.
Her heartbeat quickened.
Her wolf pushed against her skin, restless.
“Not now,” she whispered, shaking. “Please… not now.”
But the moon didn’t listen. It pulled. It called.
Her chest filled with heat, longing and fear tangled together.
Find him.
The whisper wasn’t a voice, it was instinct. A need.
Lyra pressed her back against the cold wall, digging her nails into her arms.
“No,” she breathed. “He doesn’t want me. He hates this. I won’t be a burden. I won’t.”
Her eyes burned, but she refused to cry again.
Not for him.
Yet her wolf whined inside her, pacing, aching, not for love, but for connection.
And far across the castle, though she didn’t know it, Kael lifted his head and scowled at nowhere, feeling an unwelcome tug in his chest, a faint pull toward the west wing.
He gritted
“Stop,” he muttered at the feeling, as if the bond could hear him. “I will never be ruled by you.”
Lyra curled into herself, shaking, fighting what she didn’t ask for.
Kael fought it like it was war.
Lyra wasn’t awake.
But she wasn’t resting either.
She stood without meaning to stand.
Her bare feet stepped onto the cold floor.
Her hand touched the wall for balance.
Her breathing slow, like she was dreaming and walking at the same time.
Her body moved toward the Alpha’s wing, the bond tugging her like a string around her ribs.
She didn’t whisper. She didn’t think.
She just walked.
***
Two guards outside Kael’s chamber snapped to alert when they saw her drifting forward, eyes half-open, lost.
“Halt,” one barked, stepping forward.
Lyra didn’t hear. She kept walking.
The guard grabbed her arm.
She blinked, waking like someone pulled her from deep water. Her heart thudded hard, panic sliding into her chest.
“I… I don’t… I wasn’t…” she stammered, breath shaking.
“Trying to sneak into the Alpha’s room?” the second guard sneered. “Pathetic little Omega.”
“I wasn’t… I didn’t even know…” Lyra whispered, voice cracking.
Shouts echoed from down the hall as Kael approached, cloak trailing behind him. Ronan followed at his side.
“What’s happening?” Kael demanded.
The guard shoved Lyra forward. She stumbled to her knees in front of Kael’s boots.
“Caught her trying to enter your chambers, Alpha.”
Lyra shook her head quickly, terrified. “I swear I wasn’t… I wasn’t awake…I don’t know why…”
Kael’s jaw hardened. His eyes burned with anger.
“You think you can control me through this bond?” His voice was ice. “You think you can crawl your way into my chambers like a desperate thing?”
“No!” Lyra cried softly. “I swear, I don’t want this…”
“Lies,” Serena’s voice chimed from the stairway. She descended slowly, a delighted smile on her lips. “Look how weak she is. Crawling to him already.”
Lyra shook, tears burning behind her eyes, her body too tired to stand.
Kael looked at her like she was poison.
“You shame yourself. And you shame my walls.” His voice cut like steel.
He turned to the guards. “Punish her.”
Gasps echoed down the hall. Even Ronan flinched.
“Alpha…” Ronan began.
“Do it,” Kael snapped.
The guards grabbed Lyra’s arms and forced her fully down. “You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng” She didn’t fight, she was shaking too hard, breath short, chest tight like she couldn’t breathe air right.
“Please,” she whispered. “I don’t know why it happened. I didn’t choose this.”
Kael looked down at her. For a second. But pride drowned it.
“Touching my doors without permission is disrespect. You will kneel and learn your place.”
Lyra lowered her head. She didn’t argue. She didn’t move.
She knelt because she had nothing left to stand with.
Her small body trembled as a guard struck her back, not enough to break bone, but enough to bruise, enough to sting, enough to shame.
Serena’s smile widened like a flower blooming in blood.
“She’ll learn,” Serena purred. “Or she’ll break.”
Lyra’s vision blurred. She clenched her teeth but still gasped from the pain. Her wolf whimpered inside her.
Kael watched, face hard as stone as if this punishment protected him instead of crushing her.
When it was done, Lyra barely stayed upright. Her knees shook on the cold stone floor.
Kael turned away. “Remove her.”
Ronan’s jaw clenched, but he nodded. The guards lifted Lyra by the arms, she couldn’t stand on her own. Her head hung, hair hiding her face.
Serena’s voice followed her
“Sleep well, little Omega. Your place is lower than dirt.”
Lyra didn’t answer.
She couldn’t.
Her legs dragged across the floor as they carried her back. Her vision dimmed. Her fingers curled weakly.
They dropped her on her thin mattress. Someone muttered, “Pathetic,” before the door shut.
Lyra curled in on herself.
Her back throbbed.
She whispered into her pillow, voice faint, breaking.
“I didn’t ask for this. I just want to go home.”
Outside, the moon shone through her window.
And the bond, the one she didn’t want pulsed inside her chest.

★𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫’𝐬 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞★
Bluey already packed her clothes and is now laying on the bed.
Her mind drifted back to what happened earlier. The dark street, the thugs, the way fear had crawled up her spine, until he appeared.
Her lips curved into a tiny smile.
“He smelled like lavender.” She whispered dreamily, giggling to herself.
“So nice. Who even smells that good while fighting?” She rolled onto her stomach, kicking her feet lightly.
“The way he fought off those bad guys… he didn’t even sweat. Just one punch and they were on the ground. He’s so strong.”
Her cheeks flushed as she buried her face in the pillow.
“And that voice….” She mumbled, muffled by the fabric. “Deep, calm, well kind of scary but – ugh – so hot.”
Bluey sat up again, pressing her hands to her warm face.
“Gosh, Bluey, not like you even know what he looks like! He was wearing a mask,” She groaned sadly, pouting.
Still, she couldn’t stop smiling.
“Maybe fate will let me see him again,” She said softly, staring out the window where the morning light touched her face.
“My masked lavender hero.”
A phone buzzed in her bag. She unzipped the side and brought it out, it’s an extra phone. She doesn’t use it more often, but since she lost her main phone she has no to use this one instead.
She brought it out, the buzz lighting up the screen with a message:
✉️ Don’t forget why you’re going to school. Be a good girl and don’t lose focus. ✉️
Bluey read it and smiled softly, her heart fluttering with a mix of nerves and excitement.
“So excited….” She said under her breath, tossing her phone on the bed and continuing to pack, humming a small tune as she folded her clothes neatly into her bag.

★ 𝐆𝐚𝐞𝐥’𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 ★
Morgan’s fingers brushed against the cold doorknob as she pushed it open.
Gael sat on the edge of his table, sleeves rolled up, eyes glued to the glowing screen.
“Dad,” Morgan called softly.
“Sit.” He didn’t even look up.
She obeyed, quietly taking the seat across from him. . Only the faint ticking of the clock and the sounds of the keyboard tapping filled the air before he finally raised his eyes to her.
“What’s your ranking status as of last semester?” Gael asked, voice sharp but calm.
“Well… I’m still an Ace…” Morgan hesitated.
“And? I expect nothing less… I’m asking what number?”
“Number 5.” She replied.
“Just 5? Can’t you take the top spot? Is it really that difficult?”His expression hardened.
“It is, Dad. Given that the person in top 1 is far, far ahead. I’m doing my best, Dad,” She defended, trying not to raise her voice at him.
Gael leaned back in his chair, spinning his pen in his hand.
“Well, your best isn’t enough.” He said coldly.
Morgan’s gaze dropped to her knees. She could feel his disappointment pressing on her chest like a weight. She clenched her fists under the desk.
“Just because number 5 is an Ace, it makes you comfortable?” Gael continued coldly.
Morgan’s shoulders stiffened, her fingers clutching the edge of her nightgown.
“Dad, I’m already in the top five. You act like that’s nothing. I worked so hard to get there.” She muttered, her voice trembling between frustration and hurt.
Gael shut his laptop slowly and leaned back in his chair, his expression unreadable.
“Being fifth means there are four people better than you, Morgan. Four people stronger, smarter, more disciplined. I didn’t raise you to be average.”
“I’m not average!” Morgan snapped, eyes glistening.
“Do you have any idea how much pressure it takes just to stay where I am? Everyone’s aiming for the Aces. They all want our spots.”
“And yet you’re still standing at number five !! Stuck and comfortable. Do you plan to live the rest of your life chasing scraps behind people who work harder than you?” Gael cut in sharply.
Her lips parted, but no sound came out. She looked down, blinking rapidly to keep her tears from falling. Not tears from hurt, but rage.
“I’m trying, Dad.” She said.
“Try harder.” His tone softened, but his gaze remained firm. “You’re a Sinclair. People of my peers will judge me by your performance, and I don’t tolerate mediocrity. Not from you.”
Morgan stood, her heart sinking under the weight of his words.
“Do you understand?” He asked.
“Yes, Dad,” She said quietly.
Gael looked back at his laptop, already dismissing her.
“Goodnight, Morgan. Don’t disappoint me again. School starts tomorrow, so you better up your game. If you keep slacking, Bluey might surpass you eventually.”
She glared hard at him and walked out of the study, the door clicking softly behind her.
As she walked down the hallway, her eyes burned with rage and fury.
“I’ll show you, Dad. I’ll show you I’m not a disappointment.”

★NEXT MORNING★
The security was taking Morgan and Bluey’s luggages into the black sedan waiting outside the estate building.
“Take care of yourself back in school, dear. Always make me proud,” Corazon said softly, her hand brushing through Morgan’s hair.
“I always do, Mommy,” Morgan replied with a faint smile.
“Go ahead, you shouldn’t be late..”Corazon said and hugged Morgan tightly before letting go.
Outside, the car engine purred quietly. Bluey stood waiting by the passenger side, clutching her small backpack, her posture straight but tense.
“How long is the—” she began, but Morgan’s sharp voice cut her off.
“You have no right or permission to speak when not told to,” Morgan snapped, glaring at her coldly. “So shut up, because I’d like to enjoy my peace and quiet on this journey.”
Without waiting for a response, Morgan slid into the car and slammed the door hard enough to make Bluey flinch.
Bluey glanced back toward the porch. Her mother stood at the corner, arms folded but smiling reassuringly. She gave Bluey a small wave.
Bluey forced a polite nod, inhaled quietly, then climbed into the car beside Morgan. She remained silent and determined not to say another word.
—-
Hours Later, The driver took a long turn down a lonely road. Both sides were swallowed by thick bushes, twisting branches reaching out like claws.
Bluey pressed her face against the window, unease settling in her stomach. She wanted to ask where they were going cause this doesn’t look like a proper destination.
But one glance at Morgan who was too busy on her phone, her sharp tone still echoing in her head, made her bite her tongue.
Minutes passed before they reached a tunnel guarded by masked security officers. Their black uniforms and hidden faces made Bluey shiver.
“ID?” One of them asked flatly.
The driver handed it over. The guard scanned it, then nodded once.
“Sinclair’s resumed.”
The gate opened, and they drove through the tunnel until the road widened to reveal a massive structure looming ahead.
The building was sleek and intimidating, every corner gleaming with mystery.
Bold letters stretched across the front:
𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐀 (𝐌𝐈𝐀)
Below it, the school’s motto was carved in marble. Bluey squinted, reading aloud under her breath.
> “Luck is an illusion?”
Her voice trailed off, the words sinking into the cold morning air.
—
The driver stopped in front of the main building, and the girls stepped out. Morgan barely looked up from her phone as she dragged two of her suitcases toward the entrance.
Bluey followed, pulling her own luggage, her eyes darting around the courtyard where students hurried past with their bags, all heading into the same looming building.
She climbed the marble stairs and stepped into what looked like a reception hall. The air smelled faintly of metal and mint.
“New student?” The receptionist asked without glancing up.
Bluey nodded and handed over her registration form.
Now that she thought about it… this school didn’t even show up online when she searched for it. How was that possible?
The woman scanned the form, then reached under the counter. She slipped on a pair of black gloves before taking Bluey’s wrist and clasping a thick black bracelet around it. The metal felt cold against her skin.
“Don’t take it off,” The woman said simply.
Before Bluey could ask why, the bracelet flickered with blue light, and a mechanical voice echoed through the entire hall:
🔊 “Player 090 registered. Welcome to MIA.”
Bluey flinched, staring at the bracelet as glowing numbers appeared on its surface.
It displayed: PLAYER 090 – SIGILS: 10
“Player 090? And what are Sigils?” She whispered, confused.
“You’ll figure it out soon,” A calm voice said behind her.
Bluey turned to see a tall girl with dark hair with bangs and sharp eyes. She smiled, extending her wrist to show her own glowing bracelet.
“I’m Natalie,” She said. “Player 053.”
“Bluey.”Bluey mumbled, almost inaudibly.
They walked down the chatty hall, the echo of their footsteps bouncing off the towering walls.
“Aren’t we supposed to be students?” Bluey asked, frowning. “Then why Player?”
Natalie smirked without looking back.
“We are students. Study hard, like really hard cause it’s important, your grades matter a lot. But academics aside…”
The massive double doors at the end of the hall swung open on their own, revealing the world beyond as students trooped in.
“MIA……is a gambling den, if you want to put it in a dirty word… It’s hell on earth.” Natalie said, stepping through.
“What?” Bluey gasped, her steps faltering as her eyes widened at the sight before her.
It looked nothing like a normal academy. The courtyard stretched endlessly, with white towers piercing the clouds and bridges of glass connecting each building.
Students moved in groups, their black bracelets gleaming with glowing numbers. Some whispered trades, others held digital cards that flickered with stats and points.
The air itself thrummed with tension, competitive, electric.
They reached the Assembly Grounds, where the students stood gathered before an enormous holographic screen.
Bluey was looking around and saw Morgan who was already near the front, laughing with Trevor, Gomez, and Juniper.
“The rankings.”Natalie nudged her chin forward.
The monitor flickered, static buzzing through the air before the MIA crest appeared—then the list of Players rolled down in glowing letters.
🔊 “Attention, all students. Player rankings for the first semester will now be displayed.”
Every head turned up. Every breath seemed to hold.
Bluey’s bracelet vibrated softly, the number 10 glowing brighter as the name began to load onto the towering holographic screen, the words gleaming in bold silver letters that reflected across the assembly.

“Hades is giving the pure definition of social distancing.”Natalie shook her head.
Bluey blinked at the glowing list, her mouth parting.
“Oh… that’s why there’s a ten on my bracelet. But why ten? How do I even have Sigils? And what are Sigils?”
“They’re points. Or you could call it currency.”Natalie grinned, arms crossed.
The speaker blared again, the deep automated voice echoing through the assembly.

“Girl, we’re in the same house. Lucky you.” Natalie whispered, bumping Bluey’s shoulder.
“How come Spade has that many points?” Bluey asked, still dazed by the numbers.
“Well,Hades’ eight thousand Sigils are the reason we’re at the top. ” Natalie said with a small laugh.
🔊 For New Students — The Fifteen Rules of Mistmore Academia
1. Attendance to all classes, competitions, and assemblies is mandatory.
2. Respect and obedience to higher-ranked students are required at all times, especially the Ace Level.
3. Physical altercations are only permitted for higher-ranked students. (Meaning only someone ranked higher can challenge or punish a lower one.)
4. All gambling must occur in school-approved games under supervision.
5. Cheating results in an immediate loss of 50 Sigils.
6. Students start with 10 base Sigils; falling below zero leads to expulsion.
7. Rankings are updated weekly and determine privileges and access.
8. Academic performance such as assignments, exams, and projects affects Sigil points.
9. Academic dishonesty leads to point loss and remedial competitions.
10. Students must participate in at least one competition weekly to maintain or up their levels.
11. Borrowed Sigils must be repaid with interest.
12. Official bracelets must be worn at all times.
13. Gossip or leaking information results in sigil deductions.
14. Violations may lead to demotion, forced challenges, or expulsion.
15. Death = Elimination.
—
“Death?” Bluey echoed under her breath. “What does elimination mean?”
Natalie smirked slightly, but her tone turned grim. “It means exactly what it sounds like. Better to be expelled than eliminated, don’t you think?”
Bluey’s throat tightened as her gaze drifted back to the monitor.
Something told her this place wasn’t just a school. It was a playground.
A dangerous one.
Almost immediately, the heavy doors creaked open, and the entire hall fell silent.
Hades walked in, flanked by Hyce and Hugo.
Hyce had headphones over his ear with a lollipop in his mouth, while Hugo just walked in casually like he was bored and uninterested.
Hades was dressed in all black—black boots, black gloves, and a fitted black jacket that framed his broad shoulders.
His mask covered half his face, cold and unreadable, giving him an aura that made the air feel heavier. Every step he took echoed, deliberate and powerful.
🔊 “All hail the King of MIA.”
The voice boomed through the loudspeakers. Instantly, every student lowered their heads in unison.
Bluey blinked, frozen, until Natalie nudged her sharply.
“Down, now,” She whispered.
Confused, Bluey bowed her head too, her heart pounding.
A long silence followed, then the sound of Hades fingers snapping.
Just like that, the entire hall straightened. The tension dissolved, and students began to disperse as though nothing happened.
“What was that?”Bluey stared, wide-eyed.
“A reminder. Whenever you see Hades, bow your head.”Natalie brushed her hair aside.
“I guess he’s the one with the eight thousand Sigils?” Bluey asked quietly.
“Exactly. Every student here bows to him… well, except the other Aces.” Natalie gave a half-smile.
Bluey’s eyes flicked toward the far side of the hall, where Morgan stood with Trevor, her phone still in hand and her expression unbothered.
“Including Morgan too. So she’s an Ace?” Bluey mumbled under her breath.
Natalie’s head snapped toward her. “Wait—you know Morgan? Personally?”
“Not really,” Bluey replied quickly. “Um… my parents work for her family, and her dad’s the one paying my tuition.”
“Oh.” Natalie’s tone softened. “That explains why you’re here.”
They finally reached the Spade Dormitory, a massive hall buzzing with noise. Students were laughing, arguing, and challenging each other to games.
The energy was wild, competitive and electric.
“Here,” Natalie said, stopping by a door. “That’s my room. Yours is right across. Settle in, and call me if you need anything.”
“Okay.” Bluey hesitated, holding her bag. “Um… Natalie?”
“Mm?”
“How does someone move up? Like… level-wise?”
Natalie smirked, leaning against the doorway. “Right. I forgot to tell you. To rise in level, you have to surpass someone else.”
“Meaning?”Bluey frowned.
“Let’s take Hades for example,” Natalie explained. “If you ever have more than eight thousand Sigils, you’ll push him to Player 002. Everyone else shifts down. It’s a constant game of survival and power.”
“So someone’s win is another person’s loss.” Bluey tilted her head. “In other words… make sure you always have enough to stay on top.”
“Smart girl.”Natalie grinned.
“I’ll go in now.”Bluey smiled faintly, though her heart still raced.
She turned the knob and stepped into her room.
-𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦-
The conference room hummed with quiet authority. A long table, holo-screens, a ring of stern-faced administrators as well as Miss Dora, a young principal in her early 30’s, watching like judges. At the round table sat the Aces: Trevor, Hugo, Hyce, Morgan.
Hugo toyed with a glass pyramid, Hyce idly traced patterns on his bracelet, and Morgan scowled at the screen as if it had personally offended her. Trevor tapped his fingers on the table, impatience coloring every movement.
The door opened. Hades walked in last, all-black silhouette cutting through the room. He moved to the head chair and sat as if he’d always owned that space. The administrators watched, expressionless.
“Always late. You’re not the only busy person here, you know?” Trevor said, eyes narrowing.
“Late is relative to who’s worth waiting for.”Hades said.
“Oh, don’t get cute with me Hades. Stop acting so damn ignorant. You always act all high and mighty like MIA is going to be put on hold without you in it..!”Trevor snapped.
“Exactly. I don’t see why you’re so pissed since you already know.”Hades said casually, not sparing him a glance.
Trevor scoffed, leaning forward.
“You’re so damn arrogant! You think because everyone bows to you, you’re some kind of god? In case no one told you, it’s irritating and…..-”
“You talk too much for someone who keeps losing to me. Like seriously, does your obsession with me have a limit? Like f+k off..!!” Hades cut him off.
“Can you at least try learning some manners here, Hades. In case you forgot, we’re all equals in this room. You don’t see us acting all superior and fussy.”Morgan snapped.
“Equals? I’d rather die than consider myself as an equal with a pea sized brain and a turn off of a body.”Hades said back at Morgan.
Morgan clenched her fists.
“Oh, screw you.” Trevor stood up, slamming both hands on the table. “ You think you can talk down to everyone here because you’re Player 001? Newsflash , no one here actually likes you.”
“Jeez, I love him. He’s my bro.”Hugo chipped in and fist bumped with Hades.
“Then leave, Problem solved.” Hades said coldly to Trevor.
Trevor laughed under his breath, shaking his head.
“You’d love that, wouldn’t you? You can’t stand me and guess what, I can’t too.”
“I’m out of here.”The chairs screeched as Trevor pushed his away.
The room went silent as the administrators watching like they’d seen this a hundred times before.
“Take one more step, and I’ll make sure you never walk back into this room again, not as an Ace, not even as a student.” Hades’ voice cut through, low and warning.
Trevor froze, his back turned.
“You’d kick me out?”
“Try me.”Hades leaned forward slightly, voice like ice.
Hyce whistled under his breath.
“Same old drama, can you both stop. It’s becoming unhealthy for my ears..” He muttered.
Morgan sighed.
“You two need therapy, or a cage,” Hugo added lazily.
“Or both.” Hyce shot back.
“You all can keep on with the meeting. I’m not wasting another minute breathing the same air as this psycho.”Trevor said.
Hades didn’t reply , he just sat there, silent and still, while Trevor twisted the door knob. Everyone looked at him, waiting for him to sit back down cause they know damn well he ain’t crossing that door.
The room stayed quiet, tension humming like static. Trevor finally shut the door and walked back to his seat and sat down.
Finally, Morgan spoke.
“So… what’s today’s agenda again? This place is itching my skin.”She asked.
“First, we are going to talk about the welcome back to school Frat party, before we talk about the quarantine assessments.” Miss Dora said.
“What about the party? ”Hugo asked.
“As you all know, the annual ritual once again is going to be between you Aces. So to be fair to everyone, we are going to let you decide on which two people are going to compete at the frat party.” Miss Dora said.
“As well as which game you want to engage in” Another said.
“Great, I would like to participate, I’m volunteering. I mean if I win which I obviously am, That’s 100 Sigils for me, the more the merrier.”Morgan said.
“You know damn well that even if you get 200 Sigils right now, you’re still going to remain in number 5. “You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng” You need at least 300 surpass me. If that’s what’s your trying to imply.” Hugo said.
“Why are you so insecure? I never said I was going to compete with you.” Morgan said.
“And who are you planning on competing with? Me? Trevor? Or don’t tell me you’re actually thinking that you could actually beat Hades in a tournament.”Hyce scoffed.
“And? Do you think I can’t?”Morgan asked and instantly, Hades looked up from his phone.
Morgan maintained eye contact with him, not looking away.
“Really? You want to compete against me?”Hades asked, actually impressed.
“What? Do you think I can’t do it?”Morgan asked, still not breaking eye contact with him.
“No. Actually I’m quite impressed, I’ll give you what you want. In fact to make it more interesting, Let’s place a new stake..”Hades said.
“What do you mean?” Morgan asked.
“Instead of just the usual 100 Sigils, I’ll give you 500 of my Sigils if you can win against me.”Hades said.
“Do you think I’d believe you’d actually do that?”Morgan scoffed.
“I’m serious. But if you loose, 500 Sigils will be deducted from you.”Hades said.
“Morgan, don’t listen to him, he’s only trapping you.”Trevor warned.
Morgan thought deeply, she’s going straight to number 4 if she pulls this off, but if she loses, well…. She’s not going to drop to a Knight but, it’ll be difficult to get those points back.
But, her dad would be impressed if she pulls this off, it’ll be a huge step. She looked at Hades and he had this smirk on his lips like he already knew her answer, even before he asked.
“I accept your challenge. So what game are we playing?” Morgan asked.
“We’ll let fate decide.”He smirked and she nodded.
“Let’s proceed with the quarantine assessments,” One of the administrators said finally.
They all nodded.
Hyce went first. He rose from his chair, rolled his neck once, and stepped into the scanner in the center of the room. The light swept over him, reading his vitals and combat balance.
“Combat Stability: 92.”
“Still impressive as always Hyce, honestly I’m jealous..”Hugo smirked.
“Train harder.”Hyce said and sat back down.
Hugo shook his head as he stood next.
The machine hummed again, flickering a softer blue before stabilizing.
“Combat Stability: 84.”
“Good enough to take you down, though.” Hugo shrugged.
Morgan exhaled loudly and walked forward in her heels. The scanner’s light ran from her fingertips to her chest, slowing slightly at the pulse of her bracelet.
“Combat Stability: 77.”
“Maybe if you weren’t constantly surrounded by idiots, you’d score higher.” Hyce spoke.
Hugo chuckled.
She turned with a glare.
“Don’t start with me, wide ass!!”Morgan snapped.
“At least I’m still prettier than you’ll ever be. And at least guys wanna f+k my @ss, unlike your bony a$s!”Hyce snapped back and Hugo burst out laughing.
Hades chuckled silently.
Hyce snorted, but before he could respond, the admin called.
“Trevor del Mundo.”
Trevor stood up, his eyes still burning from the earlier argument. Without a word, he moved into the scanner.
“Combat Stability: 89.”
He gave Hades a cold look as he walked past him, deliberately bumping his chair.
Then it was quiet.
“Hades Laurel.”
The room stilled.
He stood slowly, towering, mask catching the dim light. The air seemed to shift as he stepped into the center. The machine hesitated, its lights flickering before the whole display began to distort.
The readings climbed—90, 95, 98—before the system hissed and shorted out completely.
A sharp beep. Smoke from the console.
Everyone stared.
“Combat Stability…” The system tried to read, glitching. “…..un…..undefined.”
No one spoke.
Hades looked at the broken monitor, then back at the administrators.
“Guess it’s not built for me,” He said, voice low.
“Or you’re not built for it.”Hyce leaned back in his chair.
“He’s off the charts again?!.”Morgan’s eyes flicked between Hades and the administrators.
The lead admin sighed quietly, jotting something in his file.
“Assessment postponed. We’ll review his data manually.”
Hades’s phone beeped, it was a message from Albert. Hades smiled widely as he walked towards the door literally jogging and left.
“Is he going crazy?”Hyce asked Hugo.

★𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐦★
Bluey sat on the edge of her bed, phone pressed to her ear as she looked around the strange, dimly lit dorm room.
The walls were dark gray, the emblem of Spade stitched neatly on the curtains. Everything about the place screamed silence and discipline.
“Mom,” she said softly when the line connected, “I already arrived.”
“Oh, that’s good, sweetheart. How’s the place?” Maureen’s gentle voice came through, warm and comforting.
Bluey glanced around again and shuddered. “Honestly, this place is giving me creeps.”
“What do you mean?” Maureen asked, concern lacing her tone.
Bluey hesitated. She wanted to tell her about the eerie environment, the player system and the Sigils but she remembered the rule—gossiping or revealing anything about the academy’s system could get her expelled.
“Bluey?”
“Mom, it’s just that… everyone seems too serious,” she said instead, forcing a small laugh. “But don’t worry, I made a friend. Natalie—she’s nice.”
Maureen’s voice softened. “That’s good, honey. Just keep being yourself, okay?”
Bluey smiled faintly, but before she could respond, there was a sharp knock at the door. She jumped.
“Mom, someone’s at the door. I’ll call you later, okay? Love you!”
“Love you too, Bluey. Stay safe.”
Bluey hung up, slipped her phone under her pillow, and turned toward the door, her heart beating faster than she’d admit.
Bluey walked to the door, hand on the knob, but before she could open it, the door swung in and Natalie stepped inside, all smiles, followed by three other students.
“Natalie…” Bluey blinked, startled.
“Hi!” Natalie beamed, brushing her hair back. “So, I wanted to introduce you to my squad. This is Loci, Nia—his girlfriend—and Zayne.”
“Hi.”Bluey smiled shyly.
“Hi, Bluey!” Nia chirped, her eyes lighting up. “Oh my goodness, she’s so cute and small!”
“I’m not small,” Bluey pouted, crossing her arms.
“Keep lying to yourself,” Loci teased, leaning casually against the wall with a grin.
“Don’t mind him..”Zayne chuckled under his breath.
Natalie laughed and threw an arm around Bluey’s shoulders.
“Welcome to the Spade dorm, Bluey. These guys might act tough, but they’re harmless… mostly.” Natalie grinned.
“Are you indirectly calling us weaklings huh?”Loci smirked.
“Who me? I don’t know.”Natalie laughed.
“Aren’t we in rival dorms?” Bluey asked, glancing between Zayne and Nia with a little confusion.
“That’s only during dorm competitions, silly.” Nia said, waving it off and looping an arm around Bluey’s shoulders.
“Chill, we can all be friends when there aren’t dorm rivalry on the line.”Nia said.
“That’s right,” Zayne added, flashing a grin. “And you’re so pretty, Bluey.”
Thanks… Zayne.”Bluey’s cheeks turned faintly pink. “
The group settled around her bed, the air light and teasing. They started talking about the school—how wild tournaments could get, how the levels worked, and the strange strictness of the rules.
“So, which family are you from?” Nia asked curiously, twirling a strand of hair. “Everyone here are legacy students.”
Bluey hesitated for a second, then said softly, “I’m here because of Gael Sinclair.”
The room went still.
“Sinclair?” Loci repeated, his expression shifting. “As in Morgan’s dad? Are you related to him?”
“No… my parents work for them. He sponsored my admission.”Bluey said slowly.
“Damn. You must be special then. No one gets in here if you don’t come from a powerful family or have insane connectios..”Zayne whistled lowly.
Natalie’s smile dimmed a little, but she quickly masked it.
“Well, whatever the reason just be careful, okay? Especially around their daughter, Morgan… unless….do you two get along?.”Natalie asked.
Bluey shook her head.
“I hope she doesn’t bully you.”Loci said.
The bell rang sharply through the dorm, followed by the crisp voice from the speakers.
🔊“Check your timetable and resume classes immediately.”
Bluey froze, halfway through arranging her clothes in the drawer.
“Class? We just resumed today! I’m not even done packing…”
All four of them turned to look at her like she’d said something ridiculous.
“You’ve got a lot to learn, baby girl,” Loci said with a smirk, sliding his hands in his pockets.
“This isn’t your regular high school. Around here, time’s money and every second you waste, someone’s already earning Sigils ahead of you.”Loci added.
“Come on, newbie. You’ll catch up soon enough.”Nia laughed, looping her arm through Loci’s.
“Hurry and grab your logbook. First impressions matter here, especially to the instructors.”Natalie nudged Bluey’s shoulder gently.
“Great. My first day and I’m already behind.”
Bluey sighed, fumbling for her logbook.
“Welcome to MIA,” Loci said over his shoulder as they headed out. “……where sleep’s optional and survival’s mandatory.”
“Zayne stop scaring the wits out of the girl.”Loci kicked his leg.
“Ouch..bro!”

★𝐒𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚★
𝐒𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 ⚔️
The clang of steel echoed across the wide training dome. Bright lights reflected off the polished floor, each strike followed by sparks and grunts. The players—all clad in black combat overalls, protective arm guards, and steel-lined shield masks—moved in perfect rhythm. Their breathing synced with every swing, every dodge.
At the far end of the hall stood Hyce.
Despite being ranked Player 02 and one of MIA’s most feared Aces, swordsmanship had never been his strength. “You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng” His grip faltered, his stance slipped. He exhaled sharply and raised his sword again, determination etched on his sweat-damp face beneath the mask.
“Focus your core, not your hands,” the instructor barked from the sidelines.
Hyce’s jaw tightened.
He swung harder, faster. Each strike carried the weight of his frustration. His sword met the holographic target with brutal force—shattering the projection before the timer beeped red.
“Still unstable,” the instructor noted. “You’re using strength, not control.”
Hyce yanked off his shield mask, his chest heaving.
“ Listen Hyce, you’re good and talented. Try harder because failure isn’t an option for an Ace.”
He nodded.
“Go spar with him,” The instructor ordered, his voice echoing through the training hall.
He pointed toward Sergio, whose eyes hadn’t left Hyce from the moment he stepped in.
Hyce didn’t speak. He simply nodded, slipped his mask over his face, and drew his sword.
Sergio smirked, rolling his shoulders as he approached.
“Guess it’s my lucky day,” He murmured, lowering into stance.
The whistle blew.
Steel clashed instantly. Hyce moved first, swift and precise, forcing Sergio to parry hard just to keep up.
Their blades rang sharply through the air, the rhythm fast and merciless. Sparks snapped as Hyce struck again, this time harder, forcing Sergio to stumble back a step.
“Whoa, easy there. You trying to kill me or prove something?” Sergio said between grunts, blocking another blow.
Hyce didn’t answer. His movements were cold and too aggressive to be casual practice. Each strike came with precision, no hesitation, no humor.
“I’m surprised you’re still here.” Sergio teased, trying to lighten the tension as their swords locked. “Aren’t you supposed to be the strongest Ace after Hades?”
Hyce shoved him off without a word, spinning his blade in a tight arc and striking again. Sergio blocked, barely.
“Come on, Hyce,” He said, breathing heavier now. “You’ve been extra mean to me lately. What did I do this time? Exist?”
“You talk too much.”Hyce’s tone was flat when he finally spoke.
He swung again, his blade slashing the air so close it cut through the edge of Sergio’s sleeve.
“Or maybe…..” Sergio smirked, ducking under the next blow. “……you just hate that I’m not gonna give up on you easily, pretty boy.”
That hit a nerve. Hyce’s next attack was faster, heavier and too aggressive for a simple spar. Sergio barely blocked in time, the impact rattling through his arm.
“Damn, you really are pissed.” Sergio laughed breathlessly, circling him. “You know I like you, right?”
Hyce stopped and sword tilted slightly.
“Then stop liking me.”He said, his voice low through the mask.
“Yeah, definitely pissed,” Sergio muttered.
“What do you want? I thought I told you not to talk to me,” Hyce said coldly, not even glancing at Sergio as he unstrapped his gloves.
Sergio hesitated before blurting.
“Are you really still dating Gomez?”He asked.
Hyce froze for a second, then turned slightly, his expression unreadable.
“I thought I already replied to you. What else do you want?”
“It doesn’t look like it anymore.” Sergio continued, stepping closer.
“You were all over him last semester. Everyone knew how obsessed you were with him—but now? You two look… distant.” Sergio said.
Hyce didn’t respond. The silence between them stretched, heavy and tense.
“C’mon, please, just answer me—”
“We broke up because he cheated. Are you satisfied now?” Hyce cut in sharply.
“Huh? What do you mean, he cheated?”Sergio blinked.
Hyce’s jaw clenched. His tone stayed calm, but his eyes were pure ice.
“He fucked a girl, and had the guts to tell me it meant nothing.” He said flatly.
“Oh.” Sergio’s voice dropped. “Hyce, I- ”
“I hate dishonest people.” Hyce interrupted again, his voice sharper this time.
“You wanna be straight? Stay straight. You wanna be gay, be gay. But don’t pretend to be what you’re not, don’t two-time. It’s fucking disgusting.”Hyce said.
Sergio stared at him, unsure of what to say. For once, Hyce didn’t look like the cold, composed guy, he looked hurt.
“So, I have a chance then?” Sergio asked softly, his voice almost trembling.
Hyce slowly turned, removing his shield mask. His glare was sharp enough to make Sergio swallow hard.
“C’mon, say something.”Sergio swallowed hard but held his gaze.
“Give me a reason to give you a chance.” Hyce tilted his head slightly, his tone low and teasing.
Sergio took a breath.
“I can make you happy.” He said, his words tumbling out.
“I’ll never hurt you or your feelings. I really, really like you, Hyce. It’s not just about the sex we had last time. I swear it’s not.”
The room seemed to still. The faint hum of practice swords and distant voices faded as Hyce stepped forward, his eyes never leaving Sergio’s.
He stopped just inches away. His gloved hand lifted slowly and pressed against Sergio’s stomach, firm and deliberate.
Sergio’s breath hitched as Hyce’s palm trailed upward, gliding over his chest, lingering just below his collarbone.
Hyce’s gaze was intense, almost a mixture of danger, curiosity, and something unspoken. His voice was a whisper that brushed against the edge of a threat and temptation.
“You think you can handle me, Sergio?” He murmured, his lips curving slightly. “You think liking me is enough?”
“I don’t care how hard it is… I still want you.”
Sergio’s heart pounded.
Hyce leaned in , so close Sergio could feel his breath on his skin.
“Careful,” Hyce said quietly, his tone dark and smooth. “Wanting me is one thing. Surviving me… is another.”
Sergio blinked as Hyce stood on his toes, his breath ghosting against Sergio’s lips. Sergio froze, his heart hammering against his ribs as soft murmurs spread through the class.
🗣️“Are they really about to kiss”
🗣️“Hyce never gets this close to anyone asides Gomez.”
🗣️“Oh my God, this is insane.”
Hyce tilted his head slightly, his lips just a breath away from Sergio’s. For a moment, it felt like time stopped until Hyce’s gaze darkened.
He pulled back with a small smirk
“You’re not worth it yet,” he said flatly, then he turned, walking away with his sword slung casually over his shoulder, as if nothing had happened.
The students erupted in whispers.
Desiree removed her shield mask and walked over, smirking.
“That was intense,” She said, her eyes flicking toward Hyce’s retreating figure.
Sergio ran a shaky hand through his hair.
“I think my heart’s gonna jump out of my body. He’s… he’s just so intense to be around.” Sergio said.
“Welcome to Hyce’s gravity, babe. Once he pulls you in, there’s no getting out.” Desiree grinned, crossing her arms.
“Why do I feel so weak around him? I don’t like it, I should be the one in control not the other way around.”
“No time to be weak. Your competitor is glaring daggers into your soul right now.” Desiree nudged Sergio lightly.
Sergio blinked, following her gaze and sure enough, Gomez stood across the training hall, his fist tight on his sword, the plastic of his water bottle bending under the force of his other grip.
“He can keep staring,” Sergio said with a half-smirk. “At least I know he broke up with Hyce. He can f+k off.”
“You really wanna start a war, don’t you?” Desiree arched a brow, amused.
Sergio tilted his chin up, meeting Gomez’s burning stare before looking away like it didn’t bother him at all.
Across the room, Juniper stood beside Gomez, uneasy.
“Gomez, hey. Why does it matter if he’s talking to Sergio? You two already broke up, right?”
Gomez’s eyes flickered to her, rage boiling over.
“Juniper, can you just leave me alone!” He snapped, his voice echoing through the hall.
He grabbed his shield and sword, stomping toward the sparring zone.
Juniper’s chest tightened. She clenched her fists, watching Gomez throw himself into a reckless duel with another player. Her voice came out in a low, bitter whisper only she could hear.
“I hate you, Hyce…”

★ 𝐆𝐲𝐦 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚 ★
The gym was massive, so large that it had its own elevator connecting the three training floors.
The walls were lined with glass, giving a view of the campus grounds below, and the sunlight that poured in reflected off the sleek chrome of the machines.
Everything inside screamed money, rows of high-end treadmills, reinforced weight racks, digital punching systems, and training drones imported from overseas.
It wasn’t just a school gym—it was a fortress of strength and status.
Most of the students in the gym were Jacks and Pawns, the lower ranks of the academy hierarchy. They were spread out across the open floor, some lifting weights, others practicing combat drills under the instructor’s supervision.
The air was filled with grunts, the whir of equipment, and the echoing clangs of barbells being dropped on polished black mats.
Natalie and Nia were side by side on the treadmill, their ponytails bouncing as they ran in rhythm.
Across the room, Loci and Zayne were effortlessly lifting heavy barbells, their muscles flexing with each curl.
Meanwhile, on the mat not far from them, Bluey was struggling with a single dumbbell that looked like it weighed more than her soul.
She grunted, face scrunching in determination as she tried to lift it with both hands. The dumbbell barely left the floor before she dropped it again.
Her palms were red, her shoulders trembling, and she sat back with a defeated pout.
“I hate this gym,” She muttered under her breath, glaring at the innocent weight like it had personally wronged her.
Just then, the glass doors at the far end of the gym slid open. Three students walked in.
Natasha perfectly poised, her blonde hair tied high with not a single strand out of place, entered first.
Bryan and Aris followed close behind, both with that same smug, untouchable aura that came with being Morgan’s most loyal lackeys.
Natasha’s gaze swept across the room until it landed on Natalie. She scoffed, rolling her eyes with a smirk before brushing a strand of hair from her shoulder and turning toward the back training room with Bryan and Aris in tow.
Bluey’s jaw dropped.
“There are two Natalies?” She blurted out, eyes wide.
Nia hit the stop button on her treadmill and grabbed her water bottle, catching her breath as she gave Bluey a look.
“That’s Natasha. Her twin.”
Bluey blinked rapidly, glancing between Natalie and the door Natasha had just walked through.
“Wait really?”
“Yep,” Nia said, taking a sip of water. “But trust me, that’s where the similarities end.”
“She looked… mean.”Bluey frowned, still staring at Nia.
Nia gave a short laugh.
“Mean is an understatement. Natasha and her buddies are basically Morgan’s little soldiers. They do all her dirty work so she can keep her hands clean.”
“So… like, her lackeys?”Bluey’s lips parted slightly.
“Babe, can I have some water, please?” Loci said between reps, his arms flexing as he lifted the weights with ease.
Nia rolled her eyes but grabbed another bottle from the bench.
“You’re lucky you’re cute,” She muttered, walking over to him and pressing the bottle into his hand.
“Thanks, baby,” He said, flashing a grin before gulping it down.
Bluey, still sitting cross-legged beside her tiny dumbbell, tilted her head curiously.
“Don’t you guys get along? She—uh, Natasha—rolled her eyes when she saw you.”
Natalie’s expression darkened instantly.
“I hate that bi+ch of a sister,” Natalie said, her tone flat but edged with irritation.
“But… why?”Bluey blinked, surprised.
Natalie sighed, hopping off the treadmill.
“They fight all the time. Mostly because Natasha’s one of Morgan’s lapdogs. She joins in whenever Morgan decides to make someone’s life miserable.”Nia said.
“Morgan… bullies people?”Bluey frowned, fiddling with her fingers.
Natalie gave a sharp laugh that held no humor.
“Bullies is putting it nicely. She is always looking for someone new to humiliate. Especially anyone who looks weak or doesn’t know the system.”
Bluey’s throat tightened a little. “Oh…”
Natalie’s tone softened when she noticed the look on Bluey’s face.
“Don’t let her intimidate you, Bluey. I know your parents are loyal to Morgan’s family, but this is your life. Stay away from her, okay? She’s no good.”
“I will… I promise.”Bluey nodded quietly.
Nia leaned on Loci’s shoulder with a sigh.
“I’m tired.”Nia pouted.
“Just finish up and we’ll go get food.”Loci rubbed her chin.
“I wonder which Aces are going to have a tournament at the Frat party. I kinda want to see Hades,” Zayne said, dropping the weights with a thud before grabbing a towel to dry the sweat glistening on his chest.
“Me too. It’s been forever since he actually participated,” Loci said, adjusting his wristbands.
“I remember asking him about it once, and he said he wasn’t interested because, well he quote that ‘everyone’s a weakling.’”Loci said.
“That guy’s so savage.”Zayne let out a short laugh.
Bluey, sitting cross-legged on the mat and rubbing her aching arms, blinked.
“There’s a tournament?”
“Yeah,” Nia said, still running at a steady pace on the treadmill. “It’s an annual ritual for the Aces only. Last year it was Hyce versus Trevor.”
“Who won?” Bluey asked curiously.
“Trevor,” Natalie replied, not missing a beat.
“Wait—Hyce is Player 002, right? How did he lose?” Bluey tilted her head, genuinely confused.
“He lost because it was sword fighting,” Natalie explained.
“He’s strong, but that’s not his best skill. Trevor, on the other hand, was born for it. The truth is, no matter how powerful you are, there’s always one weakness.”
Bluey nodded thoughtfully.
“I guess everything is my weakness at this point,” She mumbled, pouting as she stared down at her small dumbbells. “Aren’t there simpler tasks? My hands are aching already.”
“Who even had the idea of enrolling a baby here? You’re lucky that’s your beginner’s lesson. When our set started, we had to run around a 200-hectare field—three times. I thought I was gonna die.”Nia laughed.
“What?” Bluey gasped, eyes wide. “You’re kidding!”
“Geez, Bluey,” Natalie huffed, increasing her treadmill speed. “You’re such a drama queen.”
Zayne chuckled under his breath and turned his head slightly, locking eyes with Bluey’s.
He smirked when he saw her face turn red as she quickly looked away, pretending to focus on her dumbbells again.

★𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 – 7𝐩𝐦★
The dining hall was massive, ceiling chandeliers glimmered above the rows of students lined up in ten separate queues, each waiting as chefs in crisp uniforms served steaming trays of gourmet food.
The buzz of chatter and the clinking of utensils filled the air, blending into the faint sound of music playing through the hall’s speakers.
At one of the long tables near the center, Bluey sat with Natalie, Nia, Loci, and Zayne, already halfway through their dinner.
“Man, this pasta hits different,” Zayne said between bites.
“Of course it does,” Natalie replied. “
“Everything here feels too fancy. Even the water tastes expensive.”Bluey poked at her meal, glancing around the hall in awe.
“Because it probably is,” Nia said, laughing.
Suddenly, Loci’s wrist alarm beeped. He sighed, wiping his mouth and pushing back his chair.
“Gotta go, guys,” Loci said, slinging his bag over his shoulder.
“Where are you going?”Bluey blinked.
“To deliver Hades’ dinner,” He replied simply, walking toward the counter where a tray had been set aside with the Ace’s emblem on it.
“Wait, you mean the Hades?” Bluey whispered, looking both thrilled and nervous.
Before anyone could answer, a loud voice came from the entrance.
“H3’s are coming!” A student shouted, breathless as he ran inside.
Immediately, Hades walked in, Hyce and Hugo flanking him like shadows. The hall went dead silent. Every living soul bowed instantly, the air thick with fear and reverence.
“Bro, I can’t believe you dragged me here because of a girl,” Hugo muttered under his breath, hands in his pockets.
“Who the fuck is Bluey Cruise!” Hades’ voice thundered through the hall, echoing off the walls.
Gasps rippled across the room. Natalie and Nia froze, eyes wide as they turned toward Bluey. Zayne leaned back with a smirk, watching the chaos unfold like it was the highlight of his day.
Bluey’s spoon clattered from her hand. Her heart hammered in her chest as every eye turned to her.
Slowly, she stood, head bowed low, trembling.
Hades stopped right in front of her. He reached down, hooked a finger under her chin, and forced her to look up. His smirk was dark, amused, dangerous, and curious all at once.
“It’s really you,” He said quietly, his voice deep enough to make her skin prickle.
“Where the f+k have you been all my life?”
Before she could react, Bluey gasped as her feet suddenly left the ground. Hades had lifted her effortlessly, slinging her over his shoulder like she weighed nothing.
She gasped.
But Hades just chuckled lowly, walking toward the door while students watched in stunned silence.
“Put… me… down!!” Bluey shrieked, pounding her fists against his back.

She gasped softly.“Matteo” she whispered.“I leave you for two minutes,” he murmured against her neck, his voice low and rough, “and you run off to cook instead of staying in bed with me?”She tried to bite back a smile. “People need to eat, you know”He turned her around gently, his fingers still on her waist. His eyes scanned her face as though memorizing every line.“I missed you” he said simply.Aurora’s chest tightened. After everything, hearing it still made her knees weak. “You saw me this morning”“Not enough” He leaned down and brushed his lips against her forehead. “Never enough”She placed her hand on his cheek. “It’s over, Matteo. It’s really over.”His jaw clenched slightly. “Yeah. And he deserved worse than what we gave him”Before she could respond, someone cleared their throat at the doorway.Isabella.Aurora jumped a little, pulling away from Matteo as Isabella stood at the doorway, her hands folded gently in front of her.“I’m sorry” Isabella said softly. “I didn’t mean to interrupt”“No, no, you’re fine. I was just… cooking” She stepped closer to her. “Food will be ready soon”A faint smile pulled at Isabella’s lips. “Thank you for taking care of me”Aurora shook her head lightly. “It’s not a big deal”Isabella nodded, touching Aurora’s hand briefly.“You should go to rest, food will be ready soon” Matteo said and she smiled before leaving.Aurora let out a slow breath only for her phone to suddenly beep on the counter. She reached for it, frowning at the notification.Matteo raised a brow. “Who is it?”Aurora opened the message.“It’s my father,” she said, confusion settling on her face. “He wants me to come over tonight… for a family dinner”“You look confused”“He doesn’t care about family, or dinners, or anything like that” She stared at the screen again. “This is weird”Matteo stepped closer. “You’re not obligated to go yunno”“I’ll still go,” she said softly. “I want to see what this is about, and i also have something to take care of”He exhaled, brushing his thumb across her waist once more and then gave her a light kiss.•••AT THE EMPIRE*Maya stepped out of her suite, her hair packed in ponytail swinging behind her. She paused the moment she spotted Ace at the corridor. He wasn’t alone.Viper stood close to him, closer than Maya liked. She was blowing lightly into his eye, her fingers on his cheek as she examined a small cut. Their proximity was suffocating.Maya’s jaw tightened.Of course Ace didn’t pull back.Of course Viper had her hands all over him.The jealousy hit Maya like a punch to the chest. She lifted her chin and walked past them without a word. She almost made it out before she heard it.“Maya”She froze but she didn’t turn.“What?!” she snapped, her voice sharp like broken glass as she finally faced him.Ace blinked, surprised by how venomous she sounded. Viper stepped back immediately, sensing tension. She glanced at Ace, then at Maya, and wisely walked away without a word, leaving them alone.Silence settled between them.Maya stood stiffly, arms crossed, waiting for him to speak.Ace took a slow step toward her.“Maya,” he said again, softer this time. “We need to talk”She scoffed. “I don’t think so”Ace moved closer, close enough that she could smell his cologne. It annoyed her how much she still reacted to it.“Maya, look at me”“No”“Maya”She finally lifted her eyes.Ace’s chest rose and fell like he was preparing for a war.“I think I’m falling for you. No… scratch that. I’m in love with you and it’s killing me”Maya’s breath hitched.Ace stepped closer once again, his eyes locked on hers like she was the only thing in the world he wanted.“I don’t care about Boss anymore,” he continued. “I don’t care about rules or consequences or who gets angry. All I want is you and you only”Her arms slowly fell from their crossed position.“I’m sorry I was a coward then,” his voice cracked slightly. “I’m sorry I hurt you. I swear, Maya, I—”She didn’t let him finish.Maya grabbed his collar and crushed her lips against his, shutting him up instantly.Ace froze just for half a second before he pulled her in with both hands, kissing her back like he had been starving for her. “You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng” Like he had been dying for this moment. His fingers slid into her hair, pulling her closer, deepening the kiss until neither of them could breathe.Maya clung to him, anger melting, jealousy burning away, replaced by everything she’d been holding back for weeks.Ace pressed her gently against the wall, kissing her like he meant every word he just said. When they finally broke apart, breathless, his forehead rested against hers.“Maya,” he whispered, “please… give me a chance”Her fingers tightened on his shirt.“You already have one” she whispered back. And Ace smiled.A real, unguarded smile.Like she had just given him oxygen. She tugged him closer and jumped slightly, wrapping her legs around his waist. Ace caught her instantly like he’d been waiting for this, his hands slipping under her thighs, holding her firmly as her back pressed against the wall.“Maya…” he breathed, already losing control. She smirked and pulled him into another kiss, deeper, hotter, her fingers sliding into his hair. Ace groaned softly against her mouth, pressing his body flush against hers. His lips trailed down to her jaw… then to her neck.Maya tilted her head, gasping when he kissed the sensitive spot under her ear. His teeth grazed her skin lightly, making her grip his shoulders harder.“Ace…” she whispered, breathless. He kept going, kissing lower, darker, hungrier—Until a voice echoed through the hallway.“Get a room!”They both froze.Blade stood a few feet away, arms crossed, expression flat but a teasing smirk pulling at the corner of his mouth.Maya burst into laughter against Ace’s shoulder.Ace exhaled sharply, shaking his head. “You have the worst timing, Blade”Blade shrugged. “Not my fault you two decided to have a telenovela moment in the hallway.”Maya snorted.Ace rolled his eyes, but he was still smiling.“Whatever” he muttered, and without warning, he hooked his arm under Maya’s legs and lifted her into a full bridal carry.Maya gasped, clutching his shoulders. “Ace!”He leaned down and kissed her cheek. “You heard him, baby. Let’s get a room”He carried her effortlessly, straight toward his suite.Blade’s voice followed behind them.“Use protection!”“Shut up!” Maya and Ace yelled in unison, laughing as the door shut behind them.Blade chuckled to himself, shaking his head.He turned away from the hallway, ready to head back to his own floor but he stopped.Storm was at the far end of the corridor. And Viper was with him. They were talking and aughing.Viper who always shoved Storm off, avoided him, iced him out.But right now… she was actually smiling at something he said.Storm rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, looking down, clearly flustered. Viper’s eyes softened in a way Blade had never seen before.“Well I’ll be damned” Blade whispered, lips parting slightly. He didn’t want to disturb them, so he turned and walked the other direction, hands in his pockets, a small smile tugging at him.He needed air.Maybe he needed to stop minding everybody’s business. He stepped into the dim side hallway near the stairwell, letting out a long exhale. But as he rounded the corner, he collided with someone.“Oof—!”His hands shot out automatically, gripping her arms to steady her.And then he froze.Vixen stood in front of him, her hair loose, her lips painted a soft red.“Oh—Blade,” she breathed. “Sorry. I wasn’t watching where I was going”Blade’s heart dropped to his stomach… then shot to his throat.Vixen.He swallowed, stepping back just enough but not letting go of her arms.“I—uh—no, my fault,” he managed, hating how rough his voice sounded. “Didn’t expect anyone here”Her lips curved into a soft, almost shy smile.“You okay?” she asked. “You look… distracted”If only she knew.Blade cleared his throat. “Just needed air. That’s all”Vixen tilted her head slightly, studying him in that calm, observant way.And Blade felt heat creep up his neck.Because damn…Of all the people he could’ve bumped into…It had to be her. They ended up sitting on one of the low concrete blocks behind the training hall, the cold air brushing against their skin. Blade sat beside her, trying to act normal, even though his heart was doing acrobatics.“How are you feeling about Ace and Maya?” he finally asked, pretending it was a casual question.Vixen let out a small laugh. “Oh, that? I fucked it up myself. When he liked me, I never took him serious. I’m happy with him being with Maya”Blade nodded slowly. “I’m so sorry… so uh, are you open to a new relationship?”She scoffed softly. “I’m cancelling love for life. No relationship. I want to focus on acing missions instead”Blade swallowed, masking the disappointment that flashed across his face. “Speaking of that,” he said, clearing his throat, “I heard we have one tonight”Her lips curved into a small smirk. “Let’s duel”Blade blinked. “Right now?”She rose to her feet, cracking her knuckles. “Unless you’re scared”He stood, smirking too. “Of you? Never”She stepped closer, eyes glinting. “We’ll see”The training hall was almost empty. Vixen pulled her hair into a quick ponytail while Blade rolled up his sleeves.“Rules?” he asked.“No rules,” she said with a smirk. “Just don’t cry when I win”Blade laughed. “You talk too much”They circled each other, slow and steady, eyes locked like predators testing each other’s patience.Vixen struck first and Blade dodged, barely, her fingers grazing his jaw.“You’re getting slow” she taunted.“Or maybe you’re too fast” he shot back, moving in.They clashed, hands catching wrists, feet shifting, bodies brushing. Vixen flipped him, but he twisted mid-air and landed on his feet, grinning like a devil.“Oh, you practiced” she said.“You inspire me”She froze for half a second, caught off guard. Blade took advantage, pinning her wrist, but she slid out, sweeping his leg. He hit the mat with a grunt. She stepped over him, smug. “One point for me”Blade grabbed her ankle and tugged lightly. She toppled, landing on his chest with a soft gasp, her palms pressed against him, his hands steadying her waist without thinking. They stilled, their faces were inches apart. Her breath fanned his cheek. His fingers flexed against her waist before he forced himself to let go.She pushed off him a little too quickly, clearing her throat. “Accidental” she muttered.“Sure” he said, standing, eyes lingering a moment too long. They went again, faster this time, sharper, both trying to shake off what just happened. She tried to flip him again, but Blade countered, trapping her arms behind her and locking her gently against his chest.“I win” he whispered in her ear.“You cheated”“I adapted”Their eyes met over his shoulder, heat flickering and disappearing just as fast.Vixen stepped away, grabbing her jacket. “Whatever. We should prepare for the mission”Blade nodded, but he watched her walk away, heart thundering, wondering how long he could keep pretending. And how long she would keep ignoring the spark she swore she didn’t care about, he couldn also see the connection between her and Axel these past few days.He would wait until she was finally ready for a relationship. And if she never was, he’d still be Blade. And if she chose Axel, he’d still be Blade.•••NIGHT, THE BELLANTI’S ESTATE*Aurora’s heels clicked softly against the marble as she stepped into the familiar mansion. Nothing had changed, yet somehow everything felt different. She barely took two steps before warm arms wrapped around her tightly. Her mother, Elena.“Aurora,” she breathed, pulling her in even closer. “I’ve missed you”Aurora closed her eyes for a second, letting herself melt into the embrace she rarely received growing up. “I’ve missed you too, Mamma”When they pulled back, Aurora wasted no time.“Why did father message me for a family dinner?” she asked, brows drawn. “He never does that”Her mother sighed softly. “I have no idea. You know your father… full of surprises.” Her tone hinted at annoyance… and something else. Worry. Before Aurora could say another word, heels echoed from the staircase.Sharp, slow and intentionally loud.Aurora stiffened.Valentina walked into the room like she owned the entire estate. Her eyes locked on Aurora like a target.“Aurora,” Valentina said sweetly enough to make the walls rot. “You’re back”Aurora’s jaw clenched so hard her teeth ached. This was the sister who was originally meant to marry Matteo. The sister whose jealousy burned hotter than gasoline. The sister who secretly orchestrated the attack that caused Aurora’s miscarriage. The sister Aurora swore she would kill when they see.Valentina’s gaze dropped briefly to Aurora’s stomach. Then she smirked.Aurora’s fingers curled into fists at her sides.“Valentina,” she said, voice cool, controlled. “Still alive, I see”Valentina’s smile widened. “Disappointed?”Aurora took one slow step toward her, her mother instinctively placing a hand on Aurora’s arm as if she sensed bloodshed waiting to happen.“You have no idea” Aurora whispered. And the entire room tightened like a bowstring ready to snap. The grand doors of the dining room opened, and Vincenzo’s presence filled the room before he even spoke. He cleared his throat, a low, commanding sound that made the chatter die instantly.Aurora, Valentina, and Elena followed him in, taking their seats at the long, polished table. Candles flickered, casting shadows that danced across the room.Aurora’s eyes immediately found her father. “Why the sudden family dinner, father?” she asked.“My darling daughter,” Vincenzo said smoothly, a glint of pride in his eyes, “you’ve proved yourself to be useful, and I’m proud of you”Aurora rolled her eyes, unimpressed. “Go straight to the point, father”Valentina’s lips curled in a sly smile. “Father, do something. You said Matteo would be mine. I want back my rightful husband” She leaned back, eyes locking on Aurora. “And I suppose the little replacement thinks she can just take everything away from me? That’s rich”Aurora’s chest tightened, heat rising in her body. Without thinking, she reached under her coat and pulled out the gun she had stashed. In one smooth motion, she aimed it directly at Valentina, finger on the trigger.“Drop it, Aurora!” Elena cried, her voice trembling with earnest fear. “Please, don’t do this!”Aurora’s eyes closed for a brief moment, anger boiling through her veins, her grip on the pistol tightening. She opened her eyes again, jaw set.Valentina’s eyes gleamed, sensing an opportunity. With a quick, practiced motion, she grabbed the gun from Aurora’s hands, twisting it and aiming it directly at Aurora’s head.“Bang”Aurora barely had time to duck, the bullet embedding itself into the wall behind her. Shards of plaster fell to the floor.Meanwhile, Vincenzo sat calmly at the table, fork in hand, picking at his food as though nothing had happened.Elena’s voice shook. “Valentina! Drop the gun!” She lunged toward her daughter, that distracted Valentina.Aurora, heart pounding and adrenaline surging, didn’t wait. In one swift movement, she snatched the gun back, the metal cold and heavy in her hand. Without hesitation, she pulled the trigger. The shot rang through the room.Valentina’s eyes widened in shock. Blood blossomed across her chest as she stumbled backward, collapsing to the floor with a harsh thud.Elena didn’t hesitate. She was at Valentina’s in an instant, cradling her face and shaking her lightly.Aurora’s hands were trembling, the gun still in her grip. Her eyes, fierce and wild, never left Valentina’s lifeless form. She just killed her own sister.Does she deserves it? YesDoes she regrets it? NoVincenzo finally looked up, calm as ever. “Well,” he said smoothly, taking another bite of his food, “that was… tough”Elena’s hands shook as she clutched at Aurora.“Why did you shoot her?! She’s your sister!” Elena yelled, voice cracking, panic rising.Aurora’s jaw tightened, eyes hard as steel. “She would have killed me first if I didn’t duck it” she spat, voice low but deadly.“You brought out the pistol first!” Elena shouted, horror-stricken.Aurora’s chest heaved. “Of course you would take her side! You always ignored everything she did to me growing up! I was always the spare daughter!”Without another word, she tossed the pistol on the floor and stormed out, the echo of her heels against the marble a rhythm of finality.Once outside, the cool night air hit her, sharp and freeing. She pulled out her phone and dialed Matteo, needing to hear his voice, to feel steady again.“How was the mission?” she asked, her tone surprisingly light, betraying none of the adrenaline still coursing through her veins.“Successful, baby” Matteo replied, his voice warm and relieved.“Then we should celebrate it. On my way to the Empire” she said, a faint smirk tugging at her lips despite the chaos.“How was the dinner?” he asked, curiosity laced with caution.Aurora’s lips pressed into a thin line. “Ended with someone dying” she said bluntly, ending the call without waiting for a response. She slid into her car, the leather cool against her palms. The engine roared to life as she sped to the highway, wind whipping through her hair, the city lights blurring past.A soundtrack blared through the speakers, perfectly syncing with her. Her hair danced around her face like a cinematic halo, the night air and neon lights painting her as the unstoppable force she had always been. The Bellanti mansion faded behind her. This was the end.But for Aurora? It was just the beginning.___________________________________________THE END!Finally🤧Another book finally done and dusted! 😩🖤And to the readers, thank you for joining me on this journey.
