    Another gunshot was heard and then followed by a loud groan. 
    Noah and Waylon both turned to the man on the ground,he was the one who was shot dead. 
    “Fuck” Noah cursed and pushed his hair backward. 
    Waylon sighed out and looked around,there was nobody there. 
    “Hey” Noah called and he faced him back.
    “I don’t know why you did that earlier,but…thank you” Noah said and Waylon nodded. 
    “It’s nothing, I just…….” He was still talking when Noah walked away,Waylon scoffed,watching as Noah entered his car and drove off. 
    Waylon also walked to his own car and got in,he started the car and drove out,straight to his Father’s house. 
    His fathers were shaking as he controlled the wheel,he don’t want to admit that he actually heard his father’s voice earlier because….just why? Why would he do that??

    KAY’S MANSION** 
    Waylon entered the house and met Serenity in the living room,she sat down on the couch with her two legs while holding a wine glass in her hand. 
    “Waylon” She called with a smile.
    Waylon ignored her and went upstairs,he entered Kay’s room and met him there. 
    “You’re here” Kay said,looking at him suspiciously. 
    “It was you” Waylon said and Kay raised his brows. 
    “What do you …….”
    “Don’t fúcking pretend father!! I heard your voice!!” Waylon yelled. 
    Kay scoffed 
    “You heard my voice? Where?” He asked. 
    “You sent someone to get Noah killed father,I was there,he called you and you answered,then you killed the guy you sent…..”
    “So what?!!!” Kay yelled and Waylon’s eyes widened.
    “I’m asking you,what are you going to do about it?!! Stay away from my business,you don’t know what’s going on” 
    “What am I supposed to know??! What is that foolish reason of yours!!! You want to murder a human?!! Father!!” Waylon shouted. 
    “If you’re going to keep your position in my office then keep quiet son,know your place” Kay said. 
    Waylon sighed and nodded. 
    “Do you have to threaten me with that every time?” He asked. 
    “Because you don’t want to loose that position son,that’s your weakness. So stay away from my business” Kay said and walked out of his sight. 
    Waylon scoffed,he opened the door and went out. 
    ******
    NOAH’S ISLAND**
    Birdie and Arya were in the kitchen preparing dinner,they were chatting happily also. 
    “So tell me,how did you manage to capture his heart? He doesn’t look like one who fall in love so quickly” Arya said.
    “Honestly,I don’t know how it happened. I’ve always had a crush on him so should I say it’s unbelievable? We suddenly met and started getting close,then….it happened. I almost fainted the day he confessed to me” Birdie said and Arya screamed. 
    “He confessed? He asked you out for real? How??” Arya asked. 
    “How am I supposed to explain Arya,come on” Birdie laughed,checking out what was on the cooker. 
    “Can I just call you sis? You’re my uncle’s girlfriend,I can’t call you by name and besides,you’re older” Arya said and Birdie faced her. 
    “That’s going to be weird” She muttered 
    “What? Why?”
    “Nobody have ever called me that,I’m the one who call people sis” Birdie said and they both laughed. 
    “You should be happy you finally found someone much younger” Arya said. 
    “Give me more time,let me think about it” Birdie shook her head. 
    “Fine” Arya smiled. 
    After cooking,they set the dinning table. Birdie checked her phone and sighed. 
    “He said he won’t take long” She muttered. 
    “Are you still going home tonight? Please stay here ,please” Arya grabbed her hand. 
    “I guess I should stay” Birdie nodded and they walked to the living room,almost immediately the door opened and Noah came in. 
    “Uncle” Arya called excitedly. 
    Birdie wanted to go to him. 
    “I want to be alone” Noah muttered and went upstairs,Birdie’s eyes followed him. 
    “Did something happened?” Arya wondered and Birdie sighed out. 
    “You should go after him” Arya whispered and Birdie smiled.
    “I will be back” She said and went upstairs. 
    Arya sighed sadly. 
    “I wonder what happened this time” She mumbled and sat down on the couch. 
    **
    Birdie opened the door to Noah’s room,he was unbuttoning his shirt. 
    “I told you I want to be alone” Noah said facing her. 
    “How can you say that? You were busy all day before you went to that reunion of a thing and now you don’t want to talk to me? Should I leave?” Birdie asked. 
    “Birdie…..”
    “Love bug!” Birdie snapped and Noah chuckled. 
    “Bug,I really have a lot of thinking to do…..”
    “Don’t think,tell me what happened” Birdie said.
    Noah moved closer to her and pulled her into a soft hug. Birdie pat his back gently. 
    “I almost got shot tonight” Noah said. 
    “What?!!” Birdie screamed and broke the hug. 
    “Almost? You didn’t? Are you okay? Where?” She asked,checking his body.
    “I’m fine,the bullet didn’t hit me,I was lucky again this time” Noah muttered. 
    “What the fuck is going on? Why would anyone want to hunt you so badly? Is there something you’re not telling me? It’s getting out of hand, why can’t you just involve the cops? Why?” Birdie asked. 
    “It doesn’t work that way,it doesn’t. I feel like it’s more personal and…. “
    “Personal or not,I don’t care! You should report to the cops right away. I don’t want to loose you,please” Birdie said in tears. 
    “Gosh,this is why I said I wanted to be alone” Noah groaned. 
    “Hey!” Birdie hit his shoulder. 
    “Listen,nothing is going to happen to me,I think I might have got what’s going on now,it’s crazy” Noah scoffed and sat down on the bed. 
    He looked at Birdie who still have the sadness on her face,he grabbed her hand and pulled her on his laps. 
    “Don’t worry about me…..”
    “Stop telling me not to worry about you,it’s annoying” She Snapped. 
    Noah kissed her cheek but she pushed his face away. 
    “Talk to me when you report this to the cops” She said And tried getting up. 
    “You think you can get away from me?” He held her waist tightly and dropped her on the bed. 
    “You can’t baby girl,you’re mine” He said and started pouring kisses all over her body. 
    “Noah!!” Birdie screamed and he stopped. 
    “Did you just called my name?” He asked,smiling. 
    “I wanted to annoy you,don’t tell me you like it” 
    “I love the way it sounds in your mouth..”
    “Oh lord” Birdie laughed. 
    “I love you” Noah said and their lips locked. 
    ******
    NEXT MORNING**
    Birdie and Arya were sitting down together in the living room when Noah showed up on the stairs,he came down and his eyes fell on Arya. 
    “When are you leaving?” He asked and Arya took her lips in. 
    “Bunny…..” 
    “You should leave before I get back home,your parents will be looking for you already” Noah muttered and went out. 
    Birdie ran after him and caught him just as he went out of the door. 
    “You can’t just chase her away like that,she explained to you what happened…..”
    “How’s that my business?!” Noah snapped. 
    “She’s lucky she got parents at least,you think it’s the best if she stays here? I don’t really want her parent’s trouble Birdie,I don’t want to get involved anymore”  Noah said and left her. 
    Birdie went back inside and met Arya sitting down sadly. 
    “Hey” Birdie called and she looked up. 
    “I’m sure he’s just in a bad mood,If it’s going to be bad when you go home,then you can stay,I’m going to talk to him again” Birdie said and Arya nodded. 
    “Do you want to follow me? I need to go home” 
    “Of course!” Arya replied excitedly and Birdie smiled. 
    “Adam is going to be surprised if I tell him we spent the night together” she said. 
    “I told him” Arya replied. 
    “So soon?” Birdie faced her. 
    “We are really close,I like him a lot” Arya said and Birdie coughed. .
    “I understand” She said. 
    “It’s not what you’re thinking”
    “Are you a  mind reader? What am I thinking?” Birdie asked and Arya laughed. 
    “You’re teasing me right now” She said and Birdie chuckled. 
    ******
    NH PREMIER, NOON**
    Noah was going out with Vince and Axel,they were about entering the car when they started hearing a noise from outside which distracted them.
    “What’s that?” Noah asked and they turned to see Santiago struggling with the guards. 
    “Does he have any shame at all?” Axel scoffed. 
    “Let him in” Noah ordered the guards and Santiago came in. 
    “Hey little brother” Santiago smirked,walking closer to Noah. .
    “What are you doing here?” Noah asked. 
    “Where’s my daughter?” Santiago asked. 
    Noah scoffed. 
    “Did you chased your daughter out of your house?” He asked. 
    “You know what i’m talking about,my wife saw your card with her,she probably ran out of home and…..”
    “And came to me? Your head is really full of shit if you think I will let her stay in my house for a night Santiago” Noah said and Santiago was furious. 
    “How dare you talk lowly to me like that!!” He yelled. .
    “Didn’t I tell you? You and I are no longer family,we weren’t even families to begin with,so stop acting like a bastard and leave before I tell the guards to drag you out” Noah said. 
    Santiago’s phone rang and he answered the call by mistake. 
    “Hello” The voice said and Noah’s body hair stood. 
    He recognized that voice,it was the same voice that answered the call last night. 
    “I will be back for you” Santiago said and immediately turned to leave. 
    “Follow him Vince,the person calling him…it was his voice last night” Noah said and Vince nodded. 
    He immediately got into another car,as Santiago drove off,Vince followed. 
    “Are you sure about this?” Axel asked and Noah nodded. 
    “But that doesn’t even make sense,you did nothing to him” Axel said. 
    “You still don’t know what’s happening do you?” Noah chuckled and faced him. 
    “Santiago….probably have a secret he’s trying to hide forever,he might be scared if will be exposed,and somehow,I think it’s related to my late parents” Noah muttered. 
    “That’s going to be crazy” Axel sighed.

    A SECRET WAREHOUSE**
    “So you really went to confirm what I said?” Kay chuckled. 
    “Of course I have to,I still can’t believe he survived that again….”
    “Waylon was involved” Kay said. 
    “Your son?” Santiago asked and Kay nodded. 
    “Why? I thought they don’t talk” Santiago said. 
    “That’s what I thought too” Kay replied and there was silence 
    “At this point,he might find out we killed his parents too” Kay said. 
    “I can’t let that happen,never. It was for a good reason. My brother was too stingy I had to eliminate him” Santiago said. 
    “And you think he won’t find out? He’s more smarter than you think Santiago…..”
    “You should be more worried Kay,that company is yours,my brother owns fifty percent share from it…..”
    “What about all those money I’ve been giving you? You’re the greedy one Santiago,you spent your brother’s money like a crazy man and you landed in debt,I paid for that debt too!”  Kay yelled. 
    “That’s why we have to kill my brother’s son!! I need his money if I want to have a better life again,so do something!” Santiago snapped. 
    Kay scoffed. 
    “Well,I have someone who might really succeed this time around” He said. 
    “Who?” 
    “She’s an expert when it comes to this,so don’t worry” Kay said. 
    “Zoomer” He called the code name and the door opened.

    Hailey came back to reality and scoffed,she was actually imagining how it would be like,would Birdie still Date Noah even in her death? The reason why she’s all grumpy toward her is all because of him but she’s really not giving up yet. 
    She stared at Birdie till she was completely out of sight,she scoffed and went back into her apartment. 
    Birdie entered their apartment back with heavy heart,she could hear someone in the kitchen. She ignored it and turned to go to her room. 
    “Birdie!! Dinner is ready let’s eat!” She heard her grandma and she went to the kitchen instead. 
    “Well-done grandma” She said and hugged her shortly. 
    They began setting the table together,
    “Why did you quit your job?” Winona asked when they sat down to eat. 
    “I want to focus on getting back to school” Birdie replied. 
    “Really? Is there enough money already?” Winona asked and Birdie looked at her. 
    “No” She muttered. 
    “Then why……”
    “I feel like no matter how I try,I won’t be able to gather such money,I’ve been working for more than two years now and still….I can’t,it’s really exhausting” Birdie said And Winona smiled. 
    “You’re amazing Birdie”  she said. 
    “Thank you Grandma,don’t worry about me,I will figure it out” Birdie muttered.

    BACK IN THE PARK**
    “There it is” Axel pointed at Noah’s car where it was parked. 
    Vince immediately stopped the car and they both rushed out,they ran to the car and they both gasped in shock seeing Noah in his own pool of blood 
    “Hey!! Noah wake up!! Hey dummy!!” Axel shook him about three times but no response. 
    “There’s no time,we need to take him to the hospital” Vince said. 
    “I will drive this car,drive the other one” Axel said and they immediately carried Noah from the driver’s seat to the back,Axel got in the car and drove off immediately without waiting,Vince entered the second car and followed him. 
    ******
    NEXT MORNING, HOSPITAL**
    Noah opened his eyes and groaned out,Vince who was sitting down on the couch immediately rushed to the bed. 
    “Are you awake?” He asked and Noah looked at him,he discovered he was in the hospital and he got confused. 
    “How did I get here?” He asked 
    “Axel and I brought you here last night” Vince replied and Noah tried sitting up,the pain on his side got him and he sighed. 
    “The Doctor said you need to rest at least for today” Vince stopped him. 
    “I’m definitely not resting here even if I want to rest” Noah said and Vince sighed. 
    “This is where your stubbornness ends,I fúcking told you those people aren’t joking with those threats but you ignored it,why can’t you just take the guards everywhere? You’re paying them to protect you,let them do their job for fúck sake” Vince groaned. 
    “How did you know I was there?” Noah asked curiously. 
    “Honestly,I don’t know. Axel suddenly got a text from an unknown number telling him where you are and that you’re badly injured” Vince explained. 
    “That sounds like a misery” Noah breathe out. 
    “Well I’m happy you’re fine at least,we were worried all through the night,Axel had to leave this morning because he’s got an important meeting to attend….” Vince was still talking when the door opened all of a sudden and a worried looking Birdie ran in. 
    “Axel must have branched to her place,we couldn’t call her all night” Vince said and walked out. 
    “Bunny!” Birdie called loudly as she ran to Noah on the bed. 
    “What happened? How did you get hurt? Who are those people?” She rushed her questions,almost tearfully. 
    “Hey hey hey,stop,I’m fine as you can see” Noah said. 
    “I was told you got stabbed,where?” She opened his shirt and Noah let out a painful groan. 
    Birdie gasped seeing the bandaged wound. 
    “It’s really not a minor……”
    “Come on,I’m really fine” Noah cut in. 
    “What do you mean by you’re fine? You got stabbed” Birdie cried. 
    Noah smiled and used his thumb to wipe her tears. 
    “I might not be fine now,but I will be fine,I promise” Noah said 
    “Still………” Noah placed a finger on her lips. 
    “It’s okay”
    Birdie slapped his hand. 
    “Ouch!” Noah screamed. 
    “Let me talk! Why would anyone want to hurt you? Not just hurt you,definitely they want you dead,if that person find out you’re still okay,what do you think they would do? So stop telling me you’re fine and tell me why they did it to you” Birdie said. 
    “It’s not something you should be involved in” Noah muttered and Birdie frowned 
    “Why?”
    “Because I’m also trying to figure it out,I don’t know either” Noah said. 
    “So you know someone is after your life…..”
    “Nobody is after my life,what are you thinking? Come on I missed you last night” Noah said. 
    Birdie pouted and made a sad face.
    “Forgive me Just this once” she begged. 
    “For what?”
    “I lost my phone,believe me I don’t even know how it happened,I just suddenly couldn’t find it,I’ve been searching since last night,I will continue today……”
    “You don’t have to” Noah cut in. 
    “That phone is…expensive……..”
    “No,it’s too cheap,so don’t bother searching for it again” Noah said. 
    “I’m sorry” Birdie said. 
    Noah opened her palm and Birdie placed her palm on it,he grabbed her and pulled her closer. 
    “I missed you so much” he said,staring at her lips. 
    “You shouldn’t be thinking about this right now” Birdie muttered and touched his wound. 
    “Ahh!” Noah screamed. 
    “Sorry,I thought you said you’re okay now” Birdie said sarcastically and Noah scoffed. 
    “You’re so wicked love bug” He said. 
    “I’m sorry” Birdie laughed. 
    She pecked his lips. 
    “Don’t worry,I’m your bodyguard from now on,I won’t allow anyone to hurt you” She said. 
    Noah smiled and touched her hair,his eyes moved to her legs and he chuckled,she was wearing two different slippers. 
    “Were you that worried?” He asked and Birdie quickly hide her legs. 
    “Uncle Axel suddenly appeared in my house to tell me this bad news,what do you expect me to do?” She pouted cutely. 
    “What,Uncle Axel?” Noah raised his brows. 
    “Your friend…..”
    “Why are you calling him that when you always call me Anaconda?” Noah asked. 
    “You don’t expect me to start calling you Uncle right Mr Chris?” 
    “Of course not,but something sweeter…..”
    “I called you bunny when I entered but you didn’t hear me” Birdie said 
    “Really? I didn’t hear for real,call me that again” Noah grinned. 
    “You’re so annoying” Birdie scoffed and Noah laughed but then he felt the pain.
    “Ahh” He groaned. 
    “Are you okay?” Birdie immediately asked and Noah nodded. 
    “I need to go home,this place won’t do” Noah muttered. 
    “Should I call….what’s his name?”
    “Vince,He’s My PA and my friend” Noah said. 
    “Can I call him V? You might complain if I add Uncle again” 
    “Why would you call him uncle? It makes me feel too old to be your boyfriend,please” Noah groaned and Birdie laughed. 
    “Honestly,I love old men” She said. 
    “What? So you’re gonna leave me for someone older soon?” Noah asked. 
    “Let’s see” Birdie chuckled and went out of the room. 
    Noah sighed out and rest his head properly.

    KAY’S MANSION** 
    Waylon watched from behind as his father checked his study carefully,walking around. He turned to Waylon after some minutes. 
    “Are you saying you didn’t enter this place yesterday?” He asked. 
    “No I didn’t,why would I come here? Did you lost something dad?” Waylon asked. 
    “No,I’m just wondering” Kay replied and Waylon nodded. 
    “It’s true I came to the house yesterday,but I left because you weren’t home,I don’t think I have the time to enter your study” Waylon said and they both walked out again. 
    Reagan showed up. 
    “Hey dad” She smiled. 
    “You’re home” Kay said And Reagan looked at Waylon. 
    “You’re here again” She said. 
    “Yeah finally met him home” Waylon muttered
    “Let’s have a drink together before you leave,meet me in the bar” Reagan winked and walked away. 
    Kay faced Waylon. 
    “Since when did you two got close?” He asked. 
    “Stop exaggerating,who said we are close?” Waylon scoffed and went after Reagan. 
    “What is this drink about?” He asked when he entered the bar,Meeting Reagan. 
    “To make the old man conclude we are good of course” Reagan replied.
    “You really know how to act step sis,now he think we are close” Waylon rolled his eyes and opened a bottle of wine. 
    “So did you find anything yesterday?” Reagan asked. 
    “No I didn’t,I wasn’t expecting him to be so careless to keep anything in his study anyway” Waylon mumbled but Reagan kept staring at him suspiciously. 
    “What” Waylon asked. 
    “Nothing” Reagan muttered.

    NIGHT, AXEL’S MANSION**
    Evelyn peeped at Axel in the dining room,He’s yet to eat the meal she gave him minutes ago,she was worried. 
    ‘Did something happened?’ She thought. 
    “Do you have a boyfriend?” Axel suddenly asked and Evelyn was confused,is he talking to her?
    “I’m talking to you,Evelyn” Axel said and and She started coughing.
    “Sir? Me?” She moved closer. 
    “Yeah,do you have a boyfriend?” Axel repeated his question. 
    “Oh….no….I don’t” She muttered. 
    “Why?” Axel asked.
    “Just….because” She mumbled and Axel smiled. 
    “I see why you care so much about me” he said and stood up. 
    “I lost my appetite,I can’t eat” 
    “But….” 
    “Don’t worry about me,I’m fine” Axel cut in and took his phone,he left and Evelyn sighed. 
    “Why did he ask me that question?” She wondered and looked at the food on the table. 
    “Fine,I will just say everything” She said.

    Arya was walking along the street,at the same time she was texting Noah on her phone. 
    “I hope he reply me this time” She sighed out. 
    “Watch where you’re going cutie” She heard a voice and quickly raised her head. 
    “Adam!” She called excitedly.
    “Where are you coming from?” Adam asked. 
    “I’m going home..what about you?” 
    “This is my house” Adam pointed at the house just beside them. 
    “Whoa really? I always pass here but I didn’t know” Arya muttered. 
    “Do you wanna come in?” Adam asked and Arya looked at him. 
    “Can I?” She questioned again. 
    Adam nodded and opened the gate,Arya followed him and they both entered. 
    “No one is home?” Arya asked,looking around. 
    “No”
    “Wow,you’re so rich” She uttered. 
    “I guess” Adam smiled and Arya faced him. 
    Their eyes both fell on each other. 
    “Aren’t you gonna give me a cold drink at least?” Arya asked and Adam chuckled. 
    “Seriously,were you supposed to ask first?”
    “Yes,coz I’m not a guest,I’m your friend” Arya replied  and Adam nodded. 
    “You’re right” He said and stroke her hair. 
    “Cute” He touched her cheek and Arya blushed. 
    She followed him as he walked to the fridge. 
    “The milk!” She screamed even before he took it. 
    “I really enjoyed the one you gave me the last time” Arya said and Adam smiled.
    “I’m glad you like it” He said and uncapped it for her. 
    “Here” 
    “Thanks brother” Arya said and Adam looked away. 
    “Thought you said you don’t want to call me that” He said. 
    “You insisted” Arya exhaled.
    “Fine,you can call me my name” Adam said and Arya smiled. 
    “Really?” She moved closer. 
    “Yeah”
    “Then,can I……..”
    “Do what?” Adam asked. 
    “Hug you?” Arya pouted. 
    “No,hugging me isn’t free” Adam shook his head and left her. 
    “Don’t worry,I will look for someone else” Arya said. 
    “Now hugging is a must?” He faced her back. 
    “Because I need it of course,but you don’t want it” Arya scoffed.
    “Get a boyfriend to do those stuffs with” Adam said. 
    “Fine I will” 
    “Seriously? Shouldn’t you be……”
    “You suggested it Adam” Arya laughed.
    “Must you follow my suggestion?” Adam asked. 
    “You’re something else” Arya shook her head. 
    “Where’s your room?” She asked and started going upstairs before Adam could answer 
    “Hey stop right there,you can’t enter my room” Adam ran after her. 
    “Why? Is it that dirty?” Arya laughed,still running.
    “Hey!! Stop right there!” Adam scream after her.

    11PM, NOAH’S ISLAND**
    Birdie’s eyes were closed,she was sleeping but Noah couldn’t even sleep,He’s been staring at her face close to an hour without getting tired. 
    She was hugging him tightly in her sleep,Noah let out a scoff. 
    “I thought I’m the one who’s hurt here,I should be hugging her not the other way round” he mumbled like a child and touched Birdie’s cheek. 
    “Are you not sleeping?” Birdie asked and opened her eyes 
    “I can’t sleep” Noah muttered. 
    “Why?” 
    “Because you’re resting on where I got stabbed” Noah said and Birdie’s eyes widened,she looked down and she gasped,
    “I’m sorry” She quickly moved away but Noah pulled her back to himself. 
    “It’s hurting so badly than before” his said,his face changing. 
    “You should have pushed me away! It’s not going to bleed right? The Doctor said you shouldn’t stress it too much” Birdie said. 
    “How could I have pushed you away?” Noah scoffed 
    “Then you should have woke me up,you’re making me feel guilty” Birdie muttered and sighed. 
    “Then make the pain go away” Noah said. 
    “Oh right,your drugs”Birdie said and almost immediately she tried getting out of bed but Noah grabbed her hand. 
    “That won’t work in this situation” He mumbled.
    “Then……what?” Birdie asked. 
    Noah looked at her with flirty eyes.
    “Tell me” Birdie muttered. 
    Noah smiled and stared at her chest,Birdie’s eyes followed his own and she stared at her own chest also. 
    “What….”
    Noah grabbed her pulled her on the bed. 
    “The pain reliever you’re talking about, What is it exactly? Birdie asked in a gentle voice.

    Birdie bite her lips and sighed out. 
    ‘If you keep chasing after him,he might use and dump you later’ That’s Hailey’s voice in her head. 
    Birdie turned and walked out of the house. 
    Noah came back after some minutes,he stood there staring at the food he ordered on the table . He dialed a number on his phone and almost immediately a guard entered.
    “Boss” He bowed. 
    “You can have this one together with the one you ate” Noah muttered. 
    “Oh,thank you boss!” 
    “Lock the door when you’re out” Noah said and went upstairs.

    Getting home,Birdie met her granny in the living room still waiting for her. 
    “I’m home” Birdie announced and hugged her shortly before going in. 
    “Did something happened?” Winona wondered and sighed. 
    Birdie got inside her room and met Hailey sitting.
    “Hey,you’re early today” Hailey smiled and stood up 
    “Did something happened?” Birdie asked. 
    “Of course not,why are you asking?” Hailey asked. 
    “I just wondered what you are doing in my room waiting for me,do you miss me that much?” Birdie asked and Hailey chuckled. 
    “I waited last night also,but I had to leave because I was gonna wake up early this morning. Here” Hailey handed her a drink. 
    “I wanted us to drink together but I need to go right now,slept tight” Hailey stroke her hair before going out. 
    “Gosh” Birdie immediately uncapped the bottle and gulped down half of the soda. 
    “Refreshing” She groaned and fell on the bed. Her mind went to Noah and she took her lips in. 
    “Just sleep well tonight Birdie,don’t think about anything” She said to herself and closed her eyes. 
    “Great,I need to wash up first” She got up and went into the bathroom.

    AXEL’S MANSION**
    Evelyn entered Axel’s bedroom with a tray of his dinner,she was expecting to come downstairs but seems like he was still too mad to even eat. 
    Axel just came into the bedroom after a wash,he was in his pajamas but the shirt was unbuttoned,almost swaying Evelyn’s heart away but she controlled it and looked away. 
    “Sir your…….”
    “Take it away,I’m not hungry” Axel said coldly and left the bedroom. 
    Evelyn didn’t move,Axel came in and still met her there. 
    “What are you doing? I said I’m not hungry,stop making me talk too much” Axel said. 
    “I’m sorry,I won’t repeat what I did again…..”
    “Leave” Axel said and climbed on the bed,he grabbed his laptop and began to operate it,He looked up again and saw Evelyn still standing with the food tray. He sighed out and dropped his laptop from his laps. 
    “What the fúck are you still doing here?” Axel asked. 
    “I’m just worried…..you shouldn’t skip dinner because of me” Evelyn muttered,looking down. 
    “Who said it’s because of you?” Axel asked and she looked at him. 
    “Then please eat,I don’t want to waste food” Evelyn said in a pleading voice. 
    “Drop it” Axel muttered and Evelyn immediately went to drop it on the table,she opened everything and looked at Axel who was also looking at her,their eyes met and Axel rolled his eyes before getting up. He walked to the table and sat down. 
    “Stay here until I’m done so you can pack the plates,I hate the smell of food in my room” Axel said. 
    “Yes sir” Evelyn smiled. 
    Axel scoffed and started eating. 
    He only ate a little before he asked Evelyn to pack,she immediately did and left the room.
    “Gosh,why the heck did I get her?” Axel rough his hair and rest his back on the chair.

    PLAYGROUND**
    Arya sighed out loudly as she took one tiny bite from the bread she was eating,her legs swinging here and there under the bench she was sitting. Anytime she think about her encounter with Noah this evening,she would let out a sad sigh. 
    “I deserve it” She muttered,taking another bite from the bread.
    “But why the fúck is this so hard?!” She asked aggressively,chewing angrily. 
    “Here” A hand holding a milk bottle came in her face and she looked up instantly. 
    “Adam!” She called,smiling brightly before collecting the milk. 
    “Thank you” She said and sipped. 
    “You shouldn’t eat bread like that” Adam muttered,sitting next to her. 
    “I know…..but I don’t have enough money” Arya muttered and suddenly grabbed his shirt.
    “Where do you work?” She asked.
    “Why are you asking?” Adam raised his brows. 
    “I’m looking for a job…..”
    “Job? You think you can get a job? You’re not even seventeen yet,you’re just sixteen. Who would give a sixteen years old girl a job?” Adam scoffed and Arya sighed.
    “I can just fake my age to eighteen…..”
    “Stop it,you don’t even look eighteen” Adam said. 
    “So what am I supposed to do now? I’m alone in my world,I feel like I don’t have parents again,my mom doesn’t even care if I eat or not…….what am I supposed to do?” Arya asked,tears falling down her eyes. 
    Adam sighed and slowly wiped her tears. 
    “Don’t cry” He said and Arya drank from the milk. 
    “You can tell me anytime you’re hungry,I will buy you food” Adam said and Arya looked at him. 
    “Why are you nice to me?” She asked. 
    “I feel like I should have a sister,i’m lonely in my house anyway” Adam said and Arya chuckled.
    “Really? How old are you? So I can see if you can be my brother” 
    “Nineteen,I’m three years older than you,so…..”
    “When did you clock nineteen?” Arya asked. 
    “Three months ago…..”
    “I will be seventeen next month,so it’s not three years,it’s two years” Arya cut in and Adam scoffed. 
    “I heard sixteen years old girls are absolutely rude,now I see that there’s no lie in it” He said and Arya laughed.
    “I’m not really rude,I’m just saying the truth” She pouted. 
    “Same way you always stain your lips with food” Adam muttered and used his thumb to clean her lips. 
    “Whoa,you’re really acting like a brother already” Arya teased and Adam pushed her head. 
    “Don’t be annoying” He said and she laughed.
    “Thanks for the milk” Arya said and he nodded. 
    “Gosh,the moon is becoming so bright,It’s winter but I feel hot inside of me” Arya said and Adam smiled. 
    “Do you want to bath inside ice to feel cold?” He asked. 
    “That’s wickedness” Arya faced him. 
    Adam checked the time. 
    “Get up,I’m walking you home. It’s late already” He said and Arya stood up. 
    “Ouch” she whimpered and held her leg before sitting down again. 
    “Are you okay?” Adam asked with concerned. 
    “Yes I’m fine,it’s nothing” Arya said and tried standing again.
    “Ahh!” She sat down back
    Adam immediately bent in front of her,he removed her left leg sneaker…her ankle was so red and swollen. 
    “What the fúck happened!” Adam shouted. 
    “Its…..”
    “Don’t tell me you walked all the way from home to NH today” He said and Arya bashed her lashes. 
    “How…..how did you….”
    “I work there dummy” Adam snapped and Arya bite her lips. 
    “Geez,you better don’t leave the house tomorrow…..”
    “No,I have to make an appointment with uncle’s Secretary” Arya said and Adam looked at her. 
    “Uncle? Who?” 
    “Chris Noah………he’s my uncle” Arya mumbled and Adam got up. 
    “For real? So why was he acting that way……”
    “Leave that to me,you can’t understand” Arya immediately said and Adam sighed. 
    “Fine,if you say so” He said and bent again,turning his back to her.

    Arya smiled and immediately got on his back. 
    “Do you even eat at all? I can’t feel anything” Adam muttered when he started walking. 
    “I’m sorry you can’t feel anything” Arya mumbled,resting on his back. 
    Adam smiled and said nothing.

    NEXT MORNING★NH PREMIER**
    “We got a contract proposal” Vivian told Noah as they both approached his office. 
    “From??” Noah asked. 
    “SBY……it’s a company in New York” Vivian replied. 
    “Let me have a look” Noah muttered and Vivian immediately handed over her ipad to him,Noah went through it and returned it back to her. 
    “Fashion line…beauty standard….why the proposal?” Noah asked. 
    “I think they need a collaboration,Christmas is coming,and Chris Noah is sure a big name,they would surely benefit from us” Vivian said with a smile. 
    “But according to my research,the company is a big one,so this contract definitely worth billions,we shouldn’t miss. They have great influence also,not just In New York but around the world,if we collab with them to make something,crazy money in our company’s account,it’s a rare opportunity” Vivian said. 
    “Let me see the proposal first” Noah said. 
    “I will get it from my office” Vivian said and walked away. 
    Noah entered his office and walked straight to the fridge,he opened it and took one of the strawberry milk before going to his seat,he opened and started drinking. 
    The door opened minutes later and Vivian came in,she dropped the proposals on the table. 
    “You just have to read things and sign where necessary,if you do that. I will prepare a meeting immediately,they are waiting for my call. But take your time” Vivian said and Noah looked at her. 
    “You’re sure hardworking” He muttered and Vivian smiled.
    “You know me already” She said. 
    “You can go,I will tell you my decision later” Noah said. 
    Vivian glanced at him shortly and walked out of the office. 
    Noah took the papers and was about to start checking when his phone buzzed,he dropped the papers and took his phone.

    The mail is from an unknown and hidden contact. 
    “Wow” Noah muttered and dropped his phone,he looked at the proposal again and put it in one side. 
    He dialed a number on the line phone. 
    “Yes boss??” A voice from the other side answered. 
    “I need you to help me check something,come to my office” Noah said and hung up right away.

    A COFFEE SHOP★2PM**
    “This is crazy,you just got the proposal and you’re getting threatened already? What the fuck is this?” Axel scoffed and dropped Noah’s phone. 
    “So what are you planning to do?” He asked. 
    “I’m not going to sign…….”
    “Are you crazy? What do you mean by you’re not going to sign it?” Axel snapped. 
    “You know the money is not my problem…….”
    “I know,but we must get the bastard behind this shít,gosh dude you live life too freely and carefully like you don’t have enemies” Axel said. 
    “Do I have enemies? I’ve been minding my business,I don’t think I have a fight with anyone……”
    “Do you have to fight with people before they make you their enemies? Nevertheless,you’re signing that contract” Axel said and Noah sighed. 
    “I would really prefer a silent life Axel” He muttered.
    “Fine,suit yourself” Axel said. 
    “I’m going to reject,just this once. So don’t worry about me” Noah said. 
    “I understand” Axel replied. 
    “How about your little one?” He asked with a grin. 
    “Which little one?” Noah scoffed and drank from his coffee
    “You know who I’m talking about” Axel said and Noah sighed. 
    “It’s my first time in nine years seeing you show your soft side to a girl” Axel said. 
    Noah said nothing. 
    “You enjoy her company don’t you?” Axel asked. 
    “She’s interesting” Noah muttered and Axel smiled.

    “What else?” Noah scoffed and Axel chuckled.

    CHICKEN RESTAURANT★8PM**
    Birdie is the only one left in the restaurant,she’s in charge of cleaning tonight so she has to wait behind. 
    She was cleaning the tables when she suddenly heard the door opening. 
    “We are closed for the…..” She turned and was surprised to see Noah. 
    “Anaconda” She called. 
    “Why are you still here?” Noah asked. 
    “Cleaning.,…..”
    “You mean you serve,do the delivery and also clean. You don’t have a cleaner?” Noah asked. 
    “No” Birdie muttered. 
    “Oh wow,such a place to work” Noah said and lean on the wall. 
    “Go on,I’m going to wait and take you home” He said and Birdie smiled. 
    “Thank you” She said. 
    Noah sat down after a while,his eyes on her as he cleaned up. About fifteen minutes later she was done. 
    “All done” Birdie faced him with a smile and gently removed the apron she was wearing. 
    Noah’s eyes scrolled down her outfit, the skirt she was putting on was only her thighs length.
    “Hey Bug” Noah adjusted on his seat 
    “Huh.”
    “Did you….did you really came all the way from your house….in this?” He asked,pointing at her skirt.
    “Yes” Birdie said and Noah chuckled inwardly. 
    “What,it’s ugly?” Birdie asked
    “No it’s just…….nice” Noah muttered. 
    Birdie walked closer to him to pick up her phone that was on the table. 
    “I’m ready,we should……”
    Noah grabbed her hand and pulled her on his laps,Birdie’s eyes widened and she faced him. 
    “What……”
    “Were you planning to come over to my office tonight?” He asked. 
    “No” Birdie replied. 
    “So,why are you putting on this?” Noah asked and Birdie blinked her eyes thrice at once,their eyes still locked. 
    “I…..I..I just…decided to wear it” She stuttered,her heart was beating so fast as usual,it’s like a normal thing anytime she’s with him. 
    Noah stood up with Birdie in his arms,he dropped her on the table and pulled her hair to the back,Birdie swallowed without uttering a word. 
    Noah stared at her lips,Birdie was staring at his eyes. Suddenly Noah looked away. 
    “Let’s go” He mumbled trying to drop her down. 
    Birdie grabbed his tie at once and dragged him closer with it,Noah immediately placed his hands on the table to balance himself,he looked at Birdie with shocking eyes,their faces almost touching. 
    “Hey bug………”
    Birdie held his face and pressed her lips on his own,shutting him up.

    “We are not that close” She muttered and paused for a second. 
    “But he’s….nice?” She said and Waylon chuckled. 
    “That sounds like a question” He muttered and Birdie bit her lips. 
    “That means he’s not nice” Waylon added. 
    “No,he is. But not every time” Birdie said and Waylon nodded. 
    “He careful,you can call me whenever you need anything okay?” 
    Birdie smiled and nodded. 
    “Thank you” She said and opened the door. 
    “I hope to see you tomorrow” Waylon said and Birdie waved at him. 
    “Goodnight” She said and went in. 
    Winona was in the living room waiting for her return,her face brightened up immediately she saw Birdie.
    “How are you doing grandma” Birdie smiled as she hugged her. 
    “I’m fine child,you should go wash up,I prepared dinner already” Winona said. 
    “I will eat later granny,I’m not that hungry for now” Birdie said and Winona nodded. 
    “Suit yourself,but don’t sleep without eating” She said. 
    “You know I won’t ever sleep hungry” Birdie said and Winona smiled. 
    Birdie went inside her room and her mind went to Hailey,after the Saturday’s conversation in her room,she haven’t set her eyes on Hailey,more like she’s still not ready to talk to her. 
    “Is she mad at me?” Birdie sighed and started undressing,she finished and entered the bathroom. After taking a warm bath,she put on her pajamas and left her room. 
     
    Winona was still in the living room watching the news. 
    “I will be back granny,I’m going to meet Hailey” Birdie announced. 
    “Alright” 
    Birdie left their apartment and went straight to Hailey’s,getting there she met Hailey in her bedroom,she was getting ready for bed already,she met her drying her hair. 
    Hailey said nothing when Birdie entered. 
    “I’m here” Birdie said,sitting on the bed. 
    “I can see you” Hailey muttered,touching to see if there are any other wet place left in her hair. 
    “Are you…..mad at me?” Birdie asked in a soft voice. 
    “Why would I be mad at you?” Hailey asked and Birdie sighed. 
    “You haven’t seen me,and you didn’t call me either,I missed you” Birdie mumbled. 
    “That’s new” Hailey said. 
    “C’mon Hailey,I’m sorry if I made you mad,you can’t keep ignoring me this way,hmm?” Birdie pouted. 
    “Not when you’re this cute,stop bribing me with that face” Hailey smiled and Birdie rushed to hug her. 
    “I’m sorry okay? I promise I won’t sneak out to meet Noah again…..”
    “Any guy,not just him” Hailey cut in and Birdie nodded.
    “Have you eaten? I was planning on cooking some chicken noodles soup” Hailey said.

    “Great,let’s go” Hailey winked and they both walked out of her room.

    NOAH’S ISLAND**
    Noah left his suite,he actually heard the sound of the entrance door opened,he wasn’t expecting anyone anyway. He was shirtless,he was only wearing joggers and a pair of flip flops,his hair was messy but he was looking hot as always. 
    He was still climbing down the staircase when Vivian appeared,he stopped on the stair,Vivian swallowed,staring at him. 
    “What are you doing here Vivian” Noah asked. 
    “Oh…sorry I didn’t tell you. I brought dinner,come down” Vivian said. 
    “I can’t remember asking you to do that” Noah said bluntly.
    “You don’t really have to tell me before I know what time do” Vivian said. 
    Noah scoffed and went downstairs,he followed her into the kitchen.
    “You’re not really thinking of buying foodstuffs and getting a maid are you?” 
    “I don’t need a maid” Noah muttered,opening the fridge,he suddenly stopped when he saw numbers of strawberry milk inside,he turned back and faced Vivian. 
    “What………”
    “Why,you might crave for it at home also” Vivian said and Noah sighed,he took a bottle water and closed the fridge again. 
    “What did you get?” He asked her as she began dishing the food out. 
    “Just a light food you love,beef pasta and some drumsticks” She said and Noah nodded. 
    “I will do that” He said when Vivian was ready to carry the tray of food. 
    “Thanks” She smiled and followed him,they got to the dinning room and sat down together. 
    Vivian stared at him as he had his first. 
    “What do you think?” She asked. 
    “Good” Noah muttered and continue eating,Vivian smiled and also started eating.

    They finished eating and Vivian cleared the table,she returned to the dinning room and met Noah standing up. 
    “I will send some money to your…..”
    “No,it’s on me,don’t bother” Vivian cut in immediately and Noah looked at her. 
    “Please let me do this for once,I really wanted to cook for you at least but you refused so let me just do this” Vivian said in a pleading voice. 
    “You should go home before it gets too late,goodnight” Noah muttered and sent upstairs. 
    Vivian bite her lips,she was hoping he will allow her stay for the night at least.
    “Gosh” Vivian ruffled her hair and carried her bag before walking out.

    NEXT DAY★KAYS GROUP OF COMPANY**

    Waylon sighed out loudly,staring at his phone screen,He’s been ignoring his father’s call because he knew exactly what the call is about. 
    The phone rang again and he gently answered the call. 
    “How dare you ignore my calls!!” Kay yelled over the phone and Waylon sighed. 
    “I was busy dad,I was in an important meeting” He replied. 
    “Have you called Mateo?” Kay asked. 
    “I was just about to” Waylon replied. 
    “I don’t understand why you’re so slow about it,you think you can ever beat Noah if you don’t follow my lead?! Call him right away!!” Kay yelled and hung up. 
    Waylon dropped his phone and run his hand through his soft hair. 
    **FLASHBACK** 
    Waylon stared as Kay slurp down his wine. 
    “Why am I here dad?” He asked. 
    “The award night is coming soon” Kay replied. 
    “That’s right” Waylon muttered. 
    “Here” Kay shifted a written down number on a paper to him. 
    “What…number is this?” Waylon asked. 
    “Mateo” Kay replied and Waylon raised his brows. 
    “Who’s that?” 
    “He’s the CEO and the one in charge of choosing who to give the awards to,he decides that every year” Kay replied.
    “Then,why am I getting his number?”
    “Send him some money of course,don’t act dumb. You have to get that award this year If you don’t want to loose your position in my company” Kay threatened. 
    **END OF FLASHBACK**
    Waylon sighed out loudly and finally dialed Mateo’s number. 
    “Hello?”
    “Oh…this is Waylon” 
    “Mr Kay’s son? I just spoke to your dad” Mateo replied and Waylon gulped.

    NH PREMIER★BOARDROOM**
    “That will be all for today,or is there anything else?” Noah asked after the meeting. 
    The staffs all glanced at each other to see if anyone would speak up. 
    “CEO award night is coming soon Sir,but I’m confident anyway” A lady smiled. 
    “Don’t be so confident about things like that” Noah stood up. 
    They all bowed as he went out,Vivian followed him instantly. 
    “Are you okay? You look tired,you should take a rest” Vivian said beside him. 
    “I always look this way,I’m not tired” Noah muttered and Vivian smiled. 
    Noah suddenly saw Birdie on the other side of the hallway,she must have came over to deliver to other staffs,their eyes met and Noah looked away,turning toward the route to his office,Vivian also followed beside him with her heels making sounds. 
    They entered Noah’s office and immediately he tried taking off his tie….
    “I will help with that” Vivian immediately rushed to him,Noah dropped his hand and allowed her,she gently untied it and then raised her head to stare at him closely. Her eyes fell straight on his lips. 
    “Move” Noah said,bringing her back to reality
    “Oh,I’m sorry” She immediately moved back. 
    “You can go,I will call you when I need you again” Noah said,sitting down. 
    Vivian bowed and left the office.

    Birdie couldn’t help but think about Noah as she walked out of the company looking sad,how he had ignored her earlier worries her alot. Is he angry that she followed Waylon last night. 
    “But he left by himself right? I never wanted to follow Waylon” Birdie sighed out. 
    She suddenly caught a glimpse of a teenage girl who was looking at the company building,but before she could get closer,the girl walked away. 
    “She looked sad,who’s she?” Birdie wondered and also went her way.

    NIGHT★NOAH’S ISLAND**
    Birdie pressed the door bell again with an impatient silent groan,and finally opened revealing Noah. 
    “Sorry I’m a little bit late,I just……” 
    Noah took the packages from her and closed the door before she could finish.
    Birdie bit her bottom lip but she didn’t move away from the door. 
    “You can just tell me if you’re mad at me! It’s annoying if you keep ignoring me!” She said loudly and the door opened again,she immediately looked up. 
    “Who said I’m mad at you?” Noah asked. 
    “Your attitude shows that” Birdie replied. 
    “What else was supposed to happen?” Noah asked and Birdie pouted. 
    “Can I come in?” She asked. 
    Noah opened the door widely and she immediately smiled and entered,he closed the door and turned to Birdie who was already busy admiring the house. 
    “I didn’t get to check it out the last time” Birdie said and faced him. She immediately collected the packages from him. 
    “I will help with that,where’s your kitchen?” She asked and Noah led the way. 
    ‘I’m not really hungry,why did I order the food?” Noah asked himself and touched his hair. 
    “Whoa!” Birdie exclaimed when they entered the kitchen. 
    “It’s so big and beautiful” she muttered and Noah scoffed. 
    She placed the meals on the table. 
    “It’s like you don’t cook at all” Birdie muttered,still looking around. 
    “Someone was here last night?” She asked,seeing a customized nylon in the wastebin. 
    “Vivian” Noah muttered. 
    “Huh. She slept over?” She immediately asked without thinking and Noah looked at her. 
    “I just….want to know” She muttered. 
    “No one have ever slept over in my house” Noah said and Birdie’s eyes widened.

    She turned back to continue getting the plate,but she was hurt that he said her hair looks ugly. 
    She suddenly felt someone behind her,before she could turn,her hair tie was removed and her long hair fell freely down making her gasp,she turned immediately and her head hit Noah’s chest. 
    “Ouch!” She quickly moved back and looked up,their eyes met. 
    Noah placed his hands on the wall,caging her. 
    “Your hair looks pretty when down” he said. 
    Birdie swallowed when her eyes fell on his lips,she took her lips in and looked down,avoiding staring at him.
    “Hey spy kid” Noah called and she looked up again.

    Birdie opened her eyes slowly and the brightness of the room hit her face,she almost closed her eyes again when suddenly she gasp and sat up instantly. She looked around the room,there’s no sign of  Noah . 
    “Where did he go to?” Birdie said softly and got down from the bed,she removed her hoodie and tied it around her waist,leaving just her blouse,as she walked past the mirror she turned again to check her face. She removed her hair tie and brushed gently with her fingers,after that she tied it back again. 
    She made to leave and found Noah standing just by the door,she flinched in shock and moved back before touching her chest. 
    “You scared me” She muttered,looking at him. 
    “Do I look scary?” Noah asked.
    “No,that’s not it. I just…..wasn’t expecting you to be behind me” Birdie explained. 
    “Shouldn’t you leave?” Noah asked.
    “Ah….” Birdie checked the time and then looked at him again. 
    “Do you feel better? I was worried last night” She said.
    “Did Axel really called you?” Noah asked and Birdie nodded. 
    “How did you leave your house that late? What if something happened to you?” Noah snapped. 
    ‘Gosh he didn’t complain last night’ Birdie said inwardly but didn’t speak up. 
    Noah moved closer to her and held her hand,he placed some dollars in her palm and Birdie looked up in confusion. 
    “Thank you” He muttered as if he was forced to say it. 
    “No,I ……….”
    “Go,your granny will be worried already” Noah said and Birdie bite her lips. 
    “Do you think I’m doing this because of money?” She suddenly asked and Noah raised his brows. 
    “Hey……..”
    “Why are you giving me money? So I can stay away from you? To get rid of me? Are you trying to tell me…..you’re paying me because I came here last night and slept over,you think this is all about money?” Birdie asked hurtfully. 
    “Geez,such a child” Noah scoffed.
    “I hate it when you call me a child or a kid too…..”
    “Then what are you? An old woman?” Noah asked in a mocking voice. 
    “If you’re not a child,what the héll do you think the money is for? It’s for transport of course” Noah said and Birdie looked at her hand,the money was too much to be called a transport fee. 
    She removed just one of the 100 dollars notes,she grabbed his hand and put the rest in it. 
    “This one is enough for my Transport in two months and even three,from my house to the restaurant is just two dollars” Birdie muttered. 
    “Then why can’t you just take all and keep it somewhere safe?” Noah asked in confusion 
    “Because I want to keep coming here,i’m afraid you might ask me to stay away from you if I take all” Birdie replied and Noah groaned,he roughed his hair and looked at her. 
    “You’re such a drama princess” He said and Birdie frowned. 
    “It’s supposed to be drama queen not princess” She said. 
    “You’re not old enough to be a queen,manage that for now” Noah replied and Birdie frowned. 
    “Stop delaying and leave” Noah dropped the money on the nearest shelf and walked away. 
    Birdie also went out of the house. 
    “How can he give me such amount of money for transport? I didn’t even ask him for money did I?” She scoffed.

    BIRDIE’S APARTMENT**
    Hailey came in and met Winona looking so worried,she had called Hailey on the phone asking about Birdie when she couldn’t find her in the room early in the morning.
    “Granny,,what do you mean by Birdie is not home?” Hailey asked also looking confused. 
    “I don’t think she slept in this house,I’ve been awake since day break and I didn’t hear anything like her leaving,I decided to check her room only to find it empty,I’m so worried” Winona said,,almost tearing up.
    “Granny it’s okay,I’m sure she didn’t go far. She will definitely be back,,she have never done that before” Hailey said and Winona nodded. 
    “I want to believe that,I want to” She sat down. 
    “That brat” Hailey mumbled and dialed Birdie’s number but almost immediately the door opened and Birdie came in. Winona immediately stood up and ran to her 
    “Where are you coming from?! Are you okay?! Did anyone hurt you?” She asked impatiently. 
    “I’m sorry Granny,I didn’t tell you before I left the house” Birdie muttered and Winona sighed.
    “You should tell me before leaving the house,I was worried” 
    “I’m sorry” Birdie muttered and the granny nodded. 
    Birdie faced Hailey who went straight into Birdie’s room,she followed her and closed the door. 
    “So now you’ve started sneaking out?” Hailey asked. 
    “It was an emergency” Birdie replied.
    “Noah again?” Hailey asked and Birdie nodded. 
    Hailey groaned. 
    “Seriously,do you think granny will be happy if she found out you spent the night with a man who’s almost eight years older than you?” Hailey asked. 
    “It’s seven not right” Birdie muttered. 
    “What’s the difference?! For heaven sake your major concern now should be how to return to school not following a man around!” Hailey snapped .
    “I’m not following him around,I just couldn’t ignore….”
    “Then learn how to ignore sometimes,you really think he will ever fall in love with you and date you? He probably see you as a child,if you keep acting this way,he might use you and dump you for someone more mature and up to his status,stop dreaming and focus on yourself” Hailey said and walked out of the room. 
    Birdie bite her lips and sat down on the bed.  
    “Does she have to sound so harsh? I only helped” Birdie muttered and fell on her back on the bed.

    She shook her head and couldn’t help but remember how he use to call her a kid every opportunity he gets. 
    “It’s not like I control my heart,I would have done that if I can.” She sighed.

    MONDAY★CHICKEN RESTAURANT**
    “Hey Birdie” One of the waitresses came to call Birdie as she left the restroom.
    “Huh?” 
    “Someone is here for you” she sounded so excited that Birdie became curious.
    “Who?” She asked.
    “I think he came from NH,He’s so handsome” 
    ‘Adam’ Birdie said inwardly and went out. 
    Getting to the room,she was right. Adam was sitting down,he waved at her the moment he saw her. Birdie smiled and walked over to meet him.
    “Hey” Adam smiled. 
    “Why calling for me when you can just order what you want?” Birdie asked. 
    “Why should I do that when I came here because of you?” Adam asked and Birdie chuckled. 
    She sat down opposite him.
    “You look tired” She said. 
    “You too,and I think mine is better,at least I’m not going for delivery” Adam said.
    “Hey” Birdie glared jokingly and Adam laughed. 
    “Just kidding” He said. 
    “Do you want chicken?” Birdie asked. 
    “You want to give me for free?” Adam asked. 
    “Don’t be such a stingy guy” Birdie groaned. 
    “Hey,so you can’t buy for me? Fine I will pay on my own if you eat with me” Adam said.
    “What if my boss appear all of a sudden?” Birdie asked. 
    “So you’re saying your boss doesn’t eat and he doesn’t want his workers to eat either?” Adam asked and Birdie chuckled.
    “I will be back” She said and Adam nodded,his eyes followed her as she walked away,he saw the other waitresses staring at him and he immediately looked away,about their eyes. 
    ‘Why are they staring?’ Adam scoffed,pressing his phone.

    Noah jolted his head as soon as the door to his office opened,to see the so called guest looking for him. At first when he saw Reagan,he didn’t recognize her,until she entered fully and smiled. 
    “Hi Noah,or Mr Chris” She said,still having the flirty smile on her face. 
    “You may sit” Noah said.
    “Thank you” Reagan said and immediately sat down. 
    “How may I help you? Miss…..”
    “Just call me Reagan” Reagan immediately said.
    “How may I help you?” Noah asked calmly. 
    “I’ve been waiting for this moment like forever Noah,I’m a biggest fan and I want to be a friend” Reagan said. 
    “You mean you’re here for tell me this?” Noah asked.

    Birdie held the nylon in her hand tightly,a box of fried chicken with strawberry milk inside,It was ordered by Noah himself,unusually. 
    As she approached Noah’s office,Vivian appeared right before her. 
    “What are you doing Here?” She asked. 
    “To deliver this” Birdie raised what’s in her hand. 
    “You can go,I will take it to him” Vivian said but Birdie shook her head,making Vivian frown. 
    “I will do it myself” Birdie said and Vivian scoffed. 
    “Are you really talking back now?” She asked. 
    “No,it’s my job to deliver to whoever order from us,I don’t understand why you’re stopping me from doing my job” Birdie said and Vivian moved closer ready to smack her face but…..
    “Why are you Standing here with my food?” Noah’s voice came from the back and Vivian turned to see Noah standing,his two hands inside his pocket. 
    “Bring it” Noah muttered and left again,Birdie immediately followed. She entered his office and met him standing. 
    “Good evening” She muttered with a bow before dropping the chicken on his table. 
    Noah sat down 
    “Won’t you open it? I paid for it anyway” He said and Birdie smiled. 
    “I thought you were going to tell me to leave” She said and Noah scoffed. 
    Birdie opened the chicken box and Noah took one. He bite from it and Birdie bit her lips. 
    Noah frowned and looked at her. 
    “Am I the one eating or you?” He asked and Birdie frowned. 
    “I’m not taking it from you,I just…..”
    “You bit your lips” Noah complained and Birdie sighed. 
    “I won’t do it again” She mumbled and Noah scoffed. 
    He continue eating and tapped the drink. 
    “What” Birdie asked.
    “Open for me of course” Noah said. 
    “Me?” 
    “Who else?” Noah asked. 
    Birdie sighed. 
    “Stop making that face,I paid for this” Noah said.
    “You paid for the chicken and drink….”
    “And the delivery fee too,it’s just five minutes from your restaurant to this place,you can give me back my money if you can’t open it for me” Noah snapped. 
    “You’re like a poor billionaire at this moment” Birdie said.

    He took his car key and briefcase 
    “You’re going home?” Birdie asked.

    They finally got outside the company only to find someone waiting,they both stopped.
    Waylon turned and Birdie gasped. 
    “Waylon” She called and he smiled at her. 
    “I went to the restaurant and I was told you’re here” Waylon said and Birdie nodded,she moved closer to him.
    “Do you want me to do anything for you?” She asked. 
    “No,I want to take you home” Waylon said and Birdie smiled. 
    “Thank you” She said excited.
    “Hey Spy Kid” Noah called as he walked toward his car and Birdie turned. 
    “Get in,I’m taking you home” Noah said and Waylon looked at him 
    “Huh?” Birdie asked in surprise. 
    “What are you waiting for?” Noah asked again and Birdie looked at Waylon. 
    “I’m sorry but I think I should…”
    “No,I asked first,you’re coming with me not him” Waylon said and Noah scoffed. 
    “Hey,follow me” He said and Birdie tried moving but Waylon grabbed her hand and pulled her back to his side. 
    Noah frowned and looked at him,Waylon glared at him in return.

    “Bowie?” Waylon read out the name Birdie just wrote down.
    “What,you don’t like it?” She raised her head. 
    “No,it sounds so cool,really cool” Waylon replied and Birdie smiled. 
    “Great,so Bowie is his name,congratulations” Birdie said and Waylon laughed. 
    “Sounds like a naming oath” he said. 
    “Of course it is,everything deserves a name or two” Birdie said and Waylon nodded. 
    “Thank you cute one” he said.
    “You’re welcome” 
    “We should go back inside,it’s my fault we are out” Waylon said,they both got down from the car and he once again held her hand. 
    Birdie looked down at their hands and bite her lips,her mind went to Noah from earlier and she sighed out. 
    She shouldn’t have ignored him like that,but then he doesn’t want to see her anyway,right?.
    “Are you okay?” Waylon looked down at her,she immediately shook her head. 
    “I’m okay” She smiled shortly. 
    They entered the hall and Birdie waved at Waylon before going Back to her seat.
    “Where did you go to? I’ve been waiting” Hailey said. 
    “I’m sorry,I met Waylon on my way back” Birdie replied and Hailey’s eyes widened. 
    “Waylon? You two talk?” She asked and Birdie nodded.
    “Whoa,you’re in another level than I imagined,it was Noah and now Waylon?” Hailey scoffed
    Birdie smiled and looked at the meals on the table. 
    “Why are you not eating?” She asked. 
    “How can I eat alone when I came here with you?” 
    “Sorry for keeping you waiting” Birdie muttered and they started eating,her eyes moved to Noah’s table,he wasn’t eating,he was on his phone instead. 
    “Doesn’t he eat out or what?” She thought. 
    Just a minute later,Noah stood up,Axel and Vivian also did,they walked out of the hall together,Birdie’s eyes followed him,she turned back and caught Hailey staring at her. 
    “You scared me” She said. 
    “You still talk to Noah?” Hailey asked. 
    “I…..I don’t know” Birdie mumbled. 
    ‘I see” Hailey nodded. 
    Birdie drank water and sighed out.

    SATURDAY★NOAH’S ISLAND**
    Noah was in the gym,sitting down on the chest fly machine,he was working out and sweating profusely,his airpod were in his ears as he listened to music while working out. 
    He would breathe in and out as he pulled the handle of the machine to the front and then back again,his muscles clapping along with his veins. 
    He suddenly got a call,he released the handle and answered through his airpod. 
    “Boss” Vivian called from the other side and Noah sighed out,he already thought it was another business,he wasn’t planning to leave home today. 
    “Vivian” Noah said and stood up,he walked toward the treadmill and started pressing the necessary buttons.
    “I’m coming over……you should eat something today,I can cook for you…………”
    “Never mind” Noah muttered,now walking on the treadmill slowly.
    “Why? Are you going to order food or something?” Vivian asked. 
    “I’m not planning to do that” Noah replied,increasing the speed of the machine.
    “Then just get a maid at least,you can’t keep on like this” Vivian said. 
    “I’m not interested in having anyone around….”
    “Noah!” Vivian shouted. 
    “Are you shouting at me now?” 
    “We are not working right now okay?! Do you want to die or something?! How can you live without eating? Are you a vampire? Do you suck blood for a living?!” Vivian Snapped. 
    Noah ignored her,running speedily as the treadmill race became faster.
    “Are you ignoring me?” Vivian asked. 
    “Worry about yourself Vivian,you know I don’t like…..”
    “You always don’t like,when will you like? But i’m standing on my word,you should get a maid,it’s not necessary she live there,she can…..”
    “Bye” Noah cut her off and hung up immediately. 
    “So lousy” he scoffed and pressed a button,the treadmill became slow again. 
    He removed his phone from his pocket and he opened the mail he missed. It’s from Santiago,Noah immediately frowned. 
    “Where the f**k did he get my number?” He asked,folding his shaking fist as he became angry. 
    He turned off the machine and walked out of the gym. 
    He walked straight to the kitchen,it’s large and unused,he walked to the fridge and brought out a bottle of water,he uncapped it and gulped everything down at once. 
    He exhaled loudly and looked around. 
    “Ahh ahh” He said and it echoed back to him. 
    “Nice” He muttered with a smirk. 
    Noah dropped the bottle inside the trash can and walked out of the kitchen.

    CHICKEN RESTAURANT**
    “Birdie! We’ve got a delivery to do” 
    “I’m coming!” Birdie replied,she was serving customers,after she was done,she ran over to where the packs are. 
    “Five pack of chicken ordered” 
    “Where?” Birdie asked. 
    “NH,don’t take too long,there’s another one” 
    “Alright” Birdie smiled and immediately ran out of the restaurant. 
    In no time,she got to the company and entered. 
    “But….who ordered chicken?” Birdie asked no one in particular as she got on the elevator. 
    “Eaglet” Adam’s voice came from the back and Birdie turned instantly. 
    “Panda!” She called,waving. 
    Adam ran and joined her inside the elevator before the door closed. 
    “You’re faster than I thought” Adam smiled. 
    “Huh? It’s for you?” Birdie asked. 
    “Of course,I’m the only one in the office,I’m hungry and bored” Adam replied. 
    “So you ordered because you are bored?” Birdie scoffed.
    “Hey,not even a single sorry?” Adam pushed her head. 
    “Hey!” Birdie yelled back and Adam touched his chest.
    “Oh I’m scared” He said sarcastically and Birdie chuckled.
    “Are you mocking me right now?” 
    “Of course not” Adam laughed. 
    The elevator door opened and they stepped out,Birdie followed Adam into the office and it was empty. 
    “Why are you the only one here?” She asked. 
    “We have something to cover up,I can’t just leave,I have to monitor how our orders and delivery are made,It’s not only me though,there are others in different offices too,but I volunteered to stay for my team” Adam said,sitting down. 
    “You’re the youngest here” Birdie said.
    “How did you know that?” Adam asked,opening the chicken box. “Wow! Looks yummy” he said and took one of the crispy chicken. 
    “It’s obvious in your face,how old are you?” She asked. 
    “Nineteen,what about you?” Adam asked,chewing in his mouth. 
    “Whoa! I’m also nineteen” Birdie said excitedly and Adam smiled.
    “Are you that happy?” He asked and Birdie nodded. 
    “Eat with me then” Adam said.
    Birdie took one of the chicken and started biting and chewing also. 
    “You’re nineteen,shouldn’t you be in school?” Adam asked. 
    “My grandma is poor,what about you?” Birdie asked. 
    “When I save up enough,I will definitely do that” Adam muttered. 
    “Why? What about your parents?” Birdie asked. 
    “I don’t know” Adam smiled.
    Birdie wanted to ask more but she decided to keep quiet. 
    After finishing one chicken,she stood up. 
    “I need to go” She said and Adam nodded. 
    “Get ready to come here everyday….not Sunday tho” Adam said and Birdie smiled. 
    “Bye” She said and ran out of the office. 
    “Must she run?!!” Adam groaned loudly.

    Noah was sitting in the living room,He’s been going from one room to another in the house since morning and finally he settled here,his legs crossed as he watched the TV.

    The male lead in the movie said to his girlfriend,they were both in tears,they almost got separated but now back together.
    “Is he crazy? Why can’t he live without her? You call that love?” Noah hissed and switched off the TV. 
    “I love my parents so much and would have said that,but I’ve been living without them for years,what the f**k is a lady? He’s bursting out rubbish for real” Noah scoffed. 
    He suddenly heard the door bell and he turned his face,he wanted to ignore but it came again,he stood up and walked to the door camera. He saw Birdie there and he frowned. 
    “What is she doing here? How did she know this place?” 
    He opened the door anyway.
    Birdie was surprised to see him.
    “Oh….it’s you” She muttered.
    “Me??” Noah raised his brows. 
    “Here’s your order” She smiled,saying the nylon pack in her hand. 
    “What’s that?” Noah asked. 
    “Huh?…..Someone ordered me to bring food here” Birdie said. 
    “A mistake” Noah muttered,trying to close the door. 
    “I’m very sure it’s here” Birdie said loudly.
    Just then,Noah’s phone rang and he checked,it’s Axel calling. He answered at once. 
    “I ordered the food,eat or you die” Axel snapped at him on the phone and hung up before Noah could talk. 
    Noah sighed and looked at Birdie.
    “Bring it,you can go” He mumbled. 
    “He asked me to help you dish it out nicely,he paid me for that” Birdie said. 
    “Never mind,I will do it myself” Noah said and tried collecting it from her. 
    “But I was paid…….”
    “Give me and get the f**k out?!!!” Noah yelled angrily and Birdie flinched,looking at him in shock as he breathe heavily while glaring at her. 
    “Don’t you get it? I hate people’s presence in my house,especially strangers,so stop being stupid” He took the food from her and closed the door loudly on her face. 
    Birdie swallowed hard still getting herself back from the shock.
    “Why……why is he…..so harsh?” She muttered with shaking lips and tears came rolling down her eyes.

    “Granny,I brought you some energy drink,the one you saw with me the other day” Hailey announced,removing a pack which contain five bottles of the drink. 
    “Oh thank you so much Hailey,I appreciate that” Winona said,taking it from her. 
    “I will stock it in the fridge” Hailey reversed her hand back and the old granny smiled. 
    Hailey put the pack inside the fridge and returned to the living room,just then Birdie came out of her room,in a hurry,she was carrying a camera in her hand,trying also at the same time to tie up her hair. 
    “Hey Granny!” Birdie greeted,running out. 
    “Hey!!” Hailey shouted and Birdie looked back. 
    “Oh you’re here” She smiled cutely.
    “Where are you going?” Hailey asked. 
    “Chris Noah’s flight arrived in twenty minutes,I need to get to the airport” Birdie said. 
    “You need to take it easy child” Winona said. 
    “Tell her granny,this Noah guy doesn’t even know her” Hailey agreed. 
    “There are millions of fans like me that he doesn’t know,so not just me” Birdie said and quickly kissed Winona’s cheek before running out. 
    “Wait for me!!” Hailey shouted and ran after her. 
    Nineteen years old Birdie have been crushing on Noah ever since she was sixteen,in fact she’s in love with him,she’s his biggest fan. 
    The camera she bought is specially made for Noah’s picture alone,her room is all covered with different paintings and portraits of him,she’s crazy about him. 
    There was even a time when she was watching Noah on TV and he was being emotional,leading him to tears,surprisingly Birdie couldn’t control her tears either,she cried. 
    That was three years ago,when she was sixteen.

    AIRPORT**
    “Thank you!” Birdie said to the cab driver as she came out with Hailey,she started running again. 
    “Calm down Birdie,I’m tired already!” Hailey called after her. 
    “I have to stay where I can get a better view for my pictures” Birdie replied,still not stopping. She looked back at Hailey and saw that she was still following,the moment she faced front again,she bumped into someone’s body and her camera almost fell but the person was faster,he caught it and Birdie sighed out loudly. 
    “I’m so sorry and thank you so much” Birdie bowed and looked up to see the guy she bumped into. 
    ‘He looks familiar’ she said inwardly. 
    “It’s fine” Adam smiled. 
    “Yeah thanks” Birdie took her camera from him and ran off. 
    Adam turned and stared at her until she was out of sight.

    Inside the airport,it was so full of people waiting for Chris Noah,one would think he’s actually an idol but he’s even more popular than some,he’s a celebrity on his own. A billionaire,CEO,Model,producer and more,what do you expect? And to crown it all,he’s damn hot and handsome. 
    After the long wait,Noah showed up at the top of the escalator with his PA beside him,Vivian. They go everywhere together and are always seen together,you can’t see Noah without Vivian,is that even possible? 
    Unless it’s not working time.
    As soon as the crowd and fans saw Noah,they started screaming and rushing to the escalator,some even tried climbing but the guards were fast enough to cover them up.

    In the middle was Birdie trying to balance as the crowd kept pushing and pushing and in the end,she fell flatly on the floor,landing on Noah’s feet.

    Noah and Vivian said nothing,they only stared at her there on the floor,it was the guards who quickly picked her up and Noah walked out with Vivian. 
    The fans still ran after him but Birdie stay still without moving,Hailey ran to her,breathing fast. 
    “Birdie,are you okay?” She asked and Birdie nodded. 
    “My…..my hand…..touched his leg” She said,almost in tears and Hailey groaned out. 
    “This is more serious than I thought” She muttered. 
    “His feet are pretty” Birdie said and Hailey shook her head.

    NOAH’S CAR**
    “You’re welcome boss” Adam bowed as he quickly opened the car door for Noah,Noah entered,followed by Vivian. Adam closed the door and joined the driver in front.
    “Are you okay?” Vivian asked Noah who was lost in thought. 
    “Why asking?” Noah asked back. 
    “The girl touched you,her fingers didn’t hurt you or something?” Vivian asked and Noah shook his head. 
    But somehow that girl’s face is definitely familiar but he just can’t remember no matter how he tries,but his mind never deceives,he has definitely seen that girl before. 
    “How many minute before the meeting?” Noah asked Adam.
    “We still have up to Twenty minutes boss” Adam replied. 
    “Go straight there” Noah said. 
    “You don’t want to change clothes at least?” Vivian asked. 
    “I will do everything I have to do now and go home” Noah replied and Vivian nodded. 
    “To white house” she informed the driver
    “Okay Ma’am”The driver replied.

    Back in the airport,Birdie was still staring at her hand even as she walked,she would place it on her chest and even kiss it. 
    “That’s enough girl” Hailey laughed. 
    “I’m so happy Hailey” Birdie muttered but then she suddenly gasped.
    “I have to go to work!” She screamed,checking her time. 
    “Thought Noah is more important than work….”
    “Yes he is,but I have to go because I have to earn money,see you later Hailey” Birdie said and ran off. 
    “Will she ever stop running?” Hailey shook her head,staring at Birdie as she stopped a cab and entered.

    8PM≈NH PREMIER**
    Birdie was walking to the nearest bus stop after work,but the moment she passed in front of NH company,she couldn’t help but to just stop as always. 
    The restaurant where she works is just some feet away from here,she work there just for one reason,because of Noah,but crazily she have never seen him walking around there,not even once. 
    “He must be an Angel that I get to see once in a while” Birdie muttered,blushing even as she think about him. 
    She walked closer to the gate trying to check if she would see anything inside but the gate is too tall,even the fence is too tall to jump,the securities are also moving around so there’s no how she can go in without being invited. 
    “Now I see,it’s really you” 
    She heard a familiar voice behind her,the voice she would recognize any where any time,Noah’s!!
    She quickly turned back and she was right,Noah was leaning on his car meaning he just got there without her even noticing. 
    Birdie stood there,staring at him,it’s her first time seeing him naturally without any guards,even Vivian isn’t there. Her hands were shaking,her palms sweating and her legs were becoming weak,she couldn’t even talk. 
    Noah stepped forward a bit,looking at her blankly. 
    “Now I see why you look familiar,you’re that stalker” He said and Birdie’s heart skipped a beat. 
    “You think I don’t know? You probably came here to look for me,such an obsessed kid” Noah said,glaring at her disgustingly. 
    “I’m not a kid…….” Birdie managed to mutter
    “Well you look like one to be” Noah snapped and she bite her red lips. 
    “You might not know,but stalking is a great offense,invading someone’s privacy…..”
    “I….didn’t invade your privacy…..I just…..like seeing you” Birdie tried to explain. 
    “That explains how obsessed you are. I know a lot of people like you so this isn’t new okay? But I will advice you to stop this crap you’re doing,you really think stalking will make me notice you? Well sorry I don’t deal with dry bones like you,so get lost” Noah said and went into the company. 
    Birdie broke into tears,loud one coz she doesn’t even know how to cry in silence. 
    She was crying as she walk,people were staring at her but she didn’t mind. 
    “How could he say all that to me? Is it a sin to like him that much?” She sniffs and cried even more. 
    ‘I don’t deal with dry bones like you’ the word stabs her heart and her cries became more louder that she even passed the bus stop and kept walking without knowing.
