She hurls the roots at Lucas hoping to pierce him with it.. Riley tries to run after her but he’s grabbed and thrown away by Lucas.. Riley hits the ground hard but quickly stands up as he sees Lucas coming after him.. He runs as far as he can keeping a safe distance away from his pursuer… Lucas seeing he won’t catch up to Riley starts blasting fire balls at Riley.. Thanks to the necklace.. Riley is safe from Lucas assaults..

Seeing his attacks aren’t working on Riley, he decides to use another strategy…

After That, Christen makes one big thorn out of the tree that looked like a pole.. Riley sensing what she’s about to do next, runs towards her and stops her.

Lucas was barely moving and he was at the edge of the hill,.. This was the moment I wanted where I could finish him off once and for all… Just as I was about strike him off the hill with a lightening blast.. Lucas hurried jumped off the hill.. I was surprised because he wasn’t suicidal type.. Without bothering about whether he survived the fall or not, i turned around to go.. As I turned around, I saw some people I wasn’t expecting to see… They were the ones Oliver warned me about.. They were the ones tasked with the hunting of whoever was behind the mysterious death of the humans and what’s worst I had the totem in my hands..

No wonder that bastard, Lucas jumped off.. He had set me up at the risk of his own life..Before I could even move a muscle.. The wizards surrounded me and casted a powerful high class binding spell on me.. I didn’t resist cause if I did, it would be worst. So I tried to convince them, I wasn’t the culprit. But they wouldn’t listen to me.

After that, I was carried away back to the witches world to face the council for trial. My only regret was not listening to Riley I should have stayed in bed with Riley to avoid this cruel twist of faith.

I tried looking for her at our usual places hoping if I coils find her but she wasn’t there. She had no friends I could talk to.. So I decided to go to the one place I wasn’t supposed to go.. Later that day after school, I went to the Restaurant she once took me to.. As I got there.. Those hungry cannibals were staring at me.. I was lucky enough to have brought the necklace with me.. Solomon was my guide and protector.. As I got to the place, I started looking for Christen’s cousin.. I asked some of the evil b*stards if they saw Christen but they all said no..

Hours later, after asking every last one of these monsters of evil, I decided to go home..

As soon as I was about to reach home, I decided to branch to the Iroko tree to see if I could see her again,… But as I got there.. I was something or rather someone I wasn’t expecting to see.

The fool was blinded after that, he smacked me hard grabbing me again and throwing me all around.. I was hurt and injured.. Despite being blind, he sensed my very move.. I couldn’t possibly win a fight against this monster.

Just then Solomon appeared before me.

The monster’s ugly appearance was so terrifying, it could kill anyone who stares at it.. Lucas seeing this unholy creation tries to run for his life but Rose makes the monster to grab hold of Lucas.

The monster holds Lucas like the way king king holds people in his hands.. The creature crushes Lucas so hard crushing his bones… Lucas screams in pain to the satisfaction of Rose..

10mins later, Lucas crashes heavily in a nearby forest outside Ibadan… His bones are cracked and broken beyond recognition.. With a little difficult.. He uses the totem of the god of healing to mend his body… Hours later.. His body is back to normal but the pain still surges through his body..

Lucas ➡ D–n that Rose… I was Hoping she’d help me but turns out.. I’m alone in this… That’s fine… I don’t need anyone… If you want something done properly.. Do it yourself.. After that, The totems begin to sparkle and then shoots out one light that went up the sky and then as it reaches up over the city of Ibadan, it shatters into little pieces… Lucas had unleashed doom upon the city of Ibadan.. But hr wasn’t done.. He still other sinister plans.. After he had done that.. He walks away into the darkness..

You know.. The funny thing about the Life we have is that it’s so full of surprises and the annoying thing is you’ll never see it coming.. And it will hit you in a way, you’ll expect..

My break up with Christen had affected me in a way I never imagined.. I couldn’t sleep at night.. In fact I couldn’t concentrate.. All I could think about is christen…

At first I thought it was just a joke Christen was pulling on me.. But I later realized she was serious about it…

Christen was back to her former self.. Cold and snobby.. Whenever we walked passed each in halls or cafeteria, She would pretend as If she had never met me.. Even when I try to seat next to her in class, she would stand up immediately and go to another seat far away from me… I tried talking to her but she would just ignore me as if I was a stranger to her.. Christen avoided me totally as if I was some of kind of curse on her…

So after I had tried so many times to get Christen’s attention, I decided to ignore her as well.. I knew there was something that was making Christen act this way, because I know she wouldn’t just avoid me without any reason.

And as it turns out.. People had began to take notice of the way Christen and I were behaving.. It didn’t take long for them to find out that we had broken up and the news spread like wildfire… And as usual They were curious to know what had happened.. Neither Christen or I gave anyone a reply… Seeing that Christen was now vacant.. Most of the guys tried their luck on her.. I laughed so hard as I laid back watching her ignore them.. And I was glad she didn’t give any guy a second look but as it turns out.. The guys weren’t the only one on the hunt.. But the girls as well especially Deborah… Immediately she heard Christen and I had broke up.. She decided to make her move on me… And like Christen, I told her off.. But the persistent b*tch wouldn’t let me be.. The more I pushed her away.. The more she came after me..

I caught Christen a number of times stealing glances at me and Deborah and from the look on her eyes.. She was jealous as hell.. But she never made any attempt to interfere..So to ease her mind.. I pushed Deborah away and ignored her advances.

But things at Campus weren’t as bad as what was happening in Ibadan.. A few days ago.. There have been death tolls rising unexpectedly… People were dying and the worst part, there was nothing to show the cause of their deaths.. Ibadan was at its darkest hour and things were getting worst and worst..

Due to this mysterious plague.. The state government had ordered the citizens to be under curfew to avoid movements in the night but Despite that. People were still dying.. My father was having a difficult time at the hospital and my mom was going to churches frequently to pray to God for protection and deliverance.. Lionel too was on lockdown.. He was no longer chatting with his chicks since this chaos began.. As for me.. I spend my time reading cause our final examinations was on the corner.. When I wasn’t reading, I would write down the experiences I’ve had with Christen and the knowledge I’ve gotten about the witches.. At first I had the desire to publish it when I was done but i realized that would be like exposing the witches existence to the general public and besides no one would even believe anything I’ve wrote in this book without any proof or evidence.

I began to follow my mother to church to pray as well.. The only reason why I did that was to keep her company and there was nothing for me to do at home.. As I sat listening to pastor giving sermons, my mind drifted back to Christen, I wished she was right here next to me.. I had to look around and see if she was among these people but she wasn’t.. As I was busy scoping the place, my eyes met with Deborah’s… Oh how I hate her.. She quickly raised her hands waving at me but I hissed and turned around.. I just hope she isn’t going to disturb me..

An hour later, the church service was over, and I went outside to have some air.. I brought out Christen’s necklace and began rubbing and staring at it… I remember the spell she thought me but I was afraid I might get her into trouble, Just then as i was enjoying my peaceful moment.. Deborah showed up.

I immediately went to where the trash pile was but as I got there, someone lit a fire on it and it began to burn… I stood as I watched the trash burning.. I was sure the necklace had melted already… But to my surprise, as I turned around to go, I felt something in my pocket, as I pulled it out, I saw it was the necklace.. I was shocked but I was glad it wasn’t damaged..

As I was about to go back to church.. Solomon appeared before me.. Looking a little bit angry.

She teleports with Oliver to the place where Christen and Rose are.. And just in the Nick of time as Rose is about to kill Christen.. Aunt Jezebel casts a binding spell on Rose and then casts the #Trinity_seal on Rose making her powerless and weak….

After that, the sphere begins to shake, then it starts to show bright white light little by little until the light shines bright all over the room, amidst that light.. Christen and rose are shown inside the sphere as they fight each other.. Aunt Jezebel watches in surprise as Christen faces her sister, Rose..

After that, the images disappear and the sphere disintegrates.. Aunt Jezebel stretches herself before getting ready… After she’s done.. She teleports with Oliver to the place where Christen and Rose are.. And just in the Nick of time as Rose is about to kill Christen.. Aunt Jezebel casts a binding spell on Rose and then casts the #Trinity_seal on Rose making her powerless and weak….

Jezebel and Oliver walk up to Christen, They notice how injured she is.. As Christen sees them.. She is surprised by their sudden appearance..

So if I were you I’d stop what I’m doing and focus on how to live a better life.. Let the last go.. No one can change what has happened.. Just let it go..

After that, Jezebel undo her spell on Rose.. Rose stands up and tries to teleport but she can’t.. She then realizes that the #Trinity_Seal is still on her…

After that, Aunt Jezebel snaps her fingers and Rose disappears away from them… Oliver uses his magic to levitate Riley’s body and bring it to Jezebel.. As she sees Riley’s messed up body.. She shakes her head and teleports everyone back to her house…

The last thing I could remember was seeing Rose and Christen fight and I remembered being kicked away hard by Rose from a very high place, after that it was lights out…

Honestly I didn’t know how long I was out, but I’ve never slept this long and good in my life.. When I woke up.. I found myself in my room.. I was in bed with a sweater on my body..

As I sat on the bed, I couldn’t remember what had really happened.. The more I try to remember the more baffled I got.. Just then as I was deep in my thoughts.. Solomon appeared before me..

Solomon ➡ I see you’ve awoken? How are you feeling?

Riley ➡ I’m fine…. What happened? What day and time is it?

Everything that happened came back pouring to head… I quickly jumped and shouted as I remembered everything.. I checked my leg and saw it was good as new.. It wasn’t broken.. I checked my body and saw I was perfectly fine… This didn’t make sense, My body was out of shape after being tortured by Rose, there was no way any doctor could have put back my body the way it was.. No operation undertaken could have put me back the way I was.. As if Solomon was reading my mind.. He clarified this to me..

Thanks to Aunt Jezebel, Riley and I were saved.. Riley’s body was back to it’s former state in no time.. After that, Oliver kept him under the Iroko tree so it would make it easier for his friends and family to find him..

Aunt Jezebel tapped into the minds of Riley’s family and friends making them believe he was kidnapped… After that everything was back to normal..

Every night, I would send Ovarkt to check on Riley to see if he was okay, I would have gone there myself but my body too was messed up and I had used too much magic power so I decided to stay indoors and rest…

Ever since that Incident, Rose and I hadn’t talk to one another.. Rose too had been quiet lately.. She wasn’t as wild as she was before.. In fact for the first time in 300yrs Rose was calm..

I was angry at what she tried to do to me and Riley.. I couldn’t forget her standing over me as she tried to stab that Rod into me.. My Grandma Wuruola had heard about what happened and advised me to forgive Rose but I bluntly refused.. She almost destroyed the man I love and she was willing to add his innocent family members to the equation…

But while I was refusing to forgive Rose.. She was trying to find a way to ask for my forgiveness… So three days after that Incident.. Rose came to my room while I was in bed.. As soon as I saw her, I turned away from her.. She slowly walked in and sat on my bed.. She tried to touch my arm but I shrugged her away….

Believe me I didn’t want to. But I couldn’t ignore her pleads.. And from the way she spoke and looked, I could tell she was sincere and really sorry and it would be cruel not to accept her apology.

The next day…. I woke up feeling a terrible headache.. After I was done bathing, I left for the school.. As I was on my way.. I began to think about what Aunt Jezebel said.. I knew she was serious about what she said and would make me appear before the council for trial if I tested her patience.

This thing was going to a very uncertain direction I wasn’t feeling uncomfortable with.. So the best thing to do was to.. Let Riley go.. For both our sakes..

As I arrives at the campus.. I was surprised to see Riley. He had this smile on his face as if he was expecting me.. After we exchanged Pleasantries, he told me he was happy to see me and I he missed me.. My heartbeat increased as he said that.. I really wanted us to be together like this but with the way things have turned out.. I’m afraid we can’t continue with our relationship.

I directly told him that we had to break up permanently.. I could see the shock on Riley’s face and I could tell he was sad about this..

Christen ➡……. I’m sorry Riley.. It’s over between us.. We both have to move on with our lives..

Solomon was right.. Teleporting from this place was the only way.. I stopped running breathing to catch my breath.. I was tired all over.. As I was about to bring out the necklace.. I heard laughter, a very sinister laughter.. I looked around but saw nobody, then out of the blue… I saw the shadows of the objects around me, moving in a strange manner.. I was really scared and amazed at the same time… The shadows all formed in one place and out of the Shadows emerged Rose…

God… She is really scary and deadly looking.. She began to walk towards me and I stepped back to avoid her… She was cracking her thumbs as if she was going to fight.. Her cold evil face formed one evil smile that make me shiver tremendously…. She wasn’t going to kill me off easily..

Getting tortured and killed is the most unpleasant experience anyone could ever get.. If I was going to die.. Like me die once… In dignity and like a man.. No like a rat or cockroach and I would be damned if I was going to give Rose that pleasure…

As I was moving away from her, I stomped onto some heavy looking stones.. I took the biggest one and threw it with all my might at Rose…

But to my utmost surprise.. Rose caught it with quick reflex, she looked at the stone, laughing at the same time as she crushed it with her bare hands as if it was nothing… I couldn’t believe it.. Any human being would use a big hammer to smash a stone like this but Rose here used her hands… UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Rose ➡ Seriously? Is that all you can do? Throw a stone at me.. My last victim had more balls than you and she was a female.. Though she died in the end, she fought bravely.

.

Riley ➡ I would have loved to fight bur I was afraid you’d use your magic..

.

Rose ➡ Is that all? Okay.. Here.. I promise not to use any magic.. Fight me with everything you’ve got in fact.. Let me make it easy for you.. Use any object you want.. At least that should make you feel at ease..

I couldn’t believe it when she said that.. I saw a thick branch on a tree and broke it off.. I held it tight and charged at Rose.. I made sure I aimed well and smacked her as hard as I could… Rose let out a shout as I landed the first blow but I didn’t stop.. I hit her harder than the previous one and kept on hitting her till she was down on the ground… I stood above her panting and gasping for breath… I couldn’t believe I had beaten her so easily… I couldn’t believe after all that talk of her being very powerful.. She was just as weak as any other female I know…

I dropped the stick and turned to go away.. As I looked back trying to see if she was okay and breathing.. I didn’t see her again… Rose was gone… I froze where I stood, Fear had crept all over my body.. Just what was going on here?

In the moment… I felt someone behind me.. As I turned around.. I shouted in fear as I saw Rose standing behind me with her evil smile.. She was unhurt and there wasn’t any injury on her… The more I try to figure things out the more confused I got… But more importantly.. How did she get up so fast?

Before I knew what was happening.. Rose gave me a slap which hurled me high in mid air and far far far away from her.. I crashed into one tree.. Pain surges through out my body in an instant… And not only that, I had dislocated my shoulder and my leg was slightly broken.. I couldn’t believe that her slap was this powerful, and as I saw the distance between us.. I knew Rose was as powerful as Christen says she is… And what terrified me what her strength was unlike anything I’ve ever encountered… Christen told me that they were stronger than human us but I never realised that their strength was this much.. And from the way Rose slapped me she didn’t put much into it because if she had use force.. The impact of her slap would have broken my neck..

As I struggled to get up, Rose teleported from where she was to my place.. She stood looking down at me.. From the look of her face, she was enjoying the look of anguish on my face.

Rose ➡ Come on… Don’t tell me you’re done… Come on… I can’t believe my sister chose you… A weak miserable human.. GET UP!

Riley ➡ GO…. TO… HELLL..

.

I used the little strength I had in me and threw a punch at Rose but it was a waste of effort cause it had no effect on her, it was like she didn’t even feel the punch..

Rose ➡ (laughs) Is this what you call a punch? Here let me demonstrate and show you how to punch…

She grabbed my shoulder pulling me like a rag doll and then she landed one devastating punch to my stomach making me vomit blood… She dropped me on the ground as I clutched my stomach and coughed blood continuously… I’ve never felt the pain like this.. It was my stomach was matched by an elephant… As I was oozing in pain.. Rose kicked me away as if I was some football…

I laid on the ground helplessly.. My body froze on the ground, feeling weak and tired.. My visions began to get blurry and hazy…

Rose appeared in front of me again, staring at my face with a look of joy on her face..

Rose ➡ Oh.. Just look at you.. All bruised and injured.. I have to say though i’m impressed that you’re still alive cause I’m not done with you yet… So muster up all your strength because you’re going to need it… (Laughs)

After that, she said some words I couldn’t comprehend and then I felt my body being s—-d into the shadows.. After that everything became dark…

I didn’t know how long I was out or unconscious.. But I soon woke up and found myself in a worst situation than before..

I felt my arms being stretched out and where being tied by some black chains and as for my legs.. They were on top of some huge sharp pointy roads, that is to say i was standing on these pointy rods for support and it was painful.. I could feel my blood pouring from underneath my feet and below me was a big hole and inside the hole were some big blacks snakes each with two heads.. They were s—–g on my blood that dripped inside their hole and where waiting to eat me whole..

As I tried to break free, I felt more pain and anguish.. I could rest or bend because if I do.. The snakes might get me.. I continued standing on those sharp pointy rods.. Just hen I thought it was all over.. Rose appeared in front of me with a glass of wine in her hands..

She walked around me sipping her drink with pleasure…

Rose ➡ Hmm.. This is wonderful… Tell me do you feel pain?

Suddenly.. She snapped her fingers the the chains began to electrify with lightening.. She then used that on me.. The lightening surged through my body shocking me more and more.

Riley ➡ (shouts in agony) ARRRGGGHHHHH!!!

Rose ➡ Yes.. Yes… Please me with your scream… Ohhh this joy… Continue don’t stop…

Rose increased the lightening bolt making me feel more pain and suffering… Here I was standing on pointy sharp rods which pierced my legs.. I couldn’t bend or sit cause if I do those snakes would be the end of me… And what’s even worse was that the only thing I could angel on to was these chains and they were covered in lightening shock… Either way there was no way out of this misery…

Minutes later, she canceled the lightening shock and proceeded to the next level of torture.. She brought out something from the shadows which looked whip, it was covered in thorns, very pointy thorns… She stretched it out and began smacking it on the ground…

Rose ➡ Tell me… Riley.. Do you still love Christen?

Riley ➡ N-noooo…

Rose ➡ (laughs) NO?

Rose ➡ No… You lying b*stard! I know you still do.. I can tell.. Your mouth may say otherwise but your heart never lies..

As quick as lightning, Rose lashed that ugly looking whip at me.. It landed straight on my back coiling me around like a snake.. The thorns pierced my flesh making me shout louder in pain.. Rose laughs as usual enjoying herself, she pulled the whip from my body with force that the thorns scarred my body.. As if that wasn’t enough, she continued whipping me harder and harder, As I shouted in pain.. She laughed enjoying every second of the hell she’s unleashing on me..

Rose ➡ Yes… Yes… Yes… Scream even more… Scream.. SCREAM!!!!! OH… I LOVE THIS… SCREAM!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Riley ➡ Please stop…

Rose ➡ KEEP SCREAMING… I’M GOING TO RIP. YOUR FLESH APART WITH THESE TILL THERE’S NOTHING LEFT…

The more I continued pleading the more she continued whipping… Eventually I stopped pleading all together… And just embraced my cruel fate… After Rose was done… She walked up to me and held my face looking at me in satisfaction…

Rose ➡ Oh… Just look at you… How I wish Christen was here to see you like this… All bruised, injured and covered in blood… But don’t worry.. Your brother and mother will soon join you in the afterlife.. I can’t wait to ear them scream…

Rose tried to cast a spell at me but then that stupid necklace blocked me from her spell… Rose was surprised but then she realized what was going on…

Rose ➡ (laughs) Isn’t this wonderful… So that Christen gave you my mother’s necklace.. I see it protected you from my spell.. But don’t be fooled, it can only protect you from magic but can it protect you from physical harm?

Rose kicked my leg so hard it broke… I didn’t know how long I kept shouting and crying as I felt the pain… Just as I was desperately hanging onto those sharp rods with both of my aching feet and now I have to stand on one… God please… Anyone should come and save me… Please…

Rose brought out one long rod from the shadows.. Just as she was about finish me off… The door of the room which we were in smashed to pieces and Christen appeared out of no where… The surprised look on her face made me realised she didn’t know what was going on here… As she was me.. She began to shed tears… As she came towards me… Rose rushed behind her and smacked her hard from behind… But Christen retaliated back striking Rose with some magic which sent her flying across the room, and then crashing hard on the ground..

Christen rushed at me and removed me from my bounds.. She made the rods, chains and the snakes disappear complete and the hole too was gone… She held me in her arms checking to see if I was okay..

Christen ➡ Riley… I’m sorry.. I didn’t know… Are you okay?

Riley ➡ i have to say.. Its good to see you…

.

Christen ➡ Don’t worry everything is going to be fine now..

Rose ➡ IS THAT SO?

As Christen was checking on me… Rose appeared before us with a look of anger and rage on her face… She blocked the door way covering it up with a barricade of shadows, From what I could see.. She’s no letting us out.. Not until I’m dead..

Rose ➡ Christen, you little b”tch so you’ve finally showed up…

Christen ➡ Why? Rose, why?

Tonight was sure fun… Spending time with Riley is never a dull moment.. But there was something about tonight that makes me tremble up till now… And it was the marriage topic that RILEY brought up.. I knew he was serious when he said that.. I would love to marry him but there are a lot of things that I’m afraid that might happen to us.. Oliver was right.. Maybe I’m getting too into Riley so much but he’s the best thing that’s happened to me in centuries.. And I would hate for us to break up… Well that’s a problem for another time.

After I escorted Riley home, I went back to mine… As I was soaring into the air flying back home, I saw something shiny on the ground… I immediately landed down and check what it was… As I checked it out, I saw it was a stone but it was different from any stone I’ve seen..

As I observed it carefully… I saw a sealing spell on it.. It was a very powerful sealing spell and who ever did this, doesn’t want anyone to open it or have it.. But luckily for me.. Aunt Jezebel has taught me a lot on sealing spells and how to undo them..

As I studied the spell, I realised the one who made this seal used dark magic to seal whatever that was inside this stone.. So saving myself time.. I decided to use the *Crimson light * since it cancels all form of magic… So I held the stone tight and said the magic words..

And Phooom!!!!!! The light shone so bright around the area, you could think that the moon had landed in that area… After the light had ceased, The sealing spell broke and the stone began to crack until it disintegrated.. After that, I saw something fall out of the rubble, as I picked it up and looked at it… It was a totem with a lighting insignia on it..

Just then I recognized what it was.. It was one the cradle of life.. This was Sango’s totem..his lightning power… So all this time.. It was hidden here… And if I remembered correctly, Lucas had six of them.. This was the last piece he needed to annihilate the humans… No matter what happens, I won’t let him have this Totem…

Just as I was busy looking at the Totem, I heard a crackling sound.. I immediately turned around to see who it was.. And Speak of the devil it was Lucas himself…

We both stared at each other for while… Lucas’s eyes were filled with shock as he saw the totem in my hands… Seeing there was no way to get the Totem.. He tried another means to persuade me to give it to him.. Diplomacy.

Lucas ➡ My dear Christen … What a surprise to see you here…

Christen  ➡ Is that so? What brings you here?

Lucas ➡ I was just passing by when I saw a bright light from afar, so I decided to come and check..

Christen  ➡ Hmm, so move along..

Lucas ➡ I’m afraid I can’t do that.. You have something that I want… The last totem of Sango the god of thunder..

Christen  ➡ Oh really? Well finders keepers.. I found it first..

Lucas ➡ Don’t be stupid.. Christen .. These humans are polluting the world with their vile existence.. We need to take back what’s ours..

Christen  ➡ This world is not for us, nor the humans or anybody.. It belongs to the divine creator..

Lucas ➡ What are you saying? There is no divine creator.. With these totems we can become gods.. Can’t you feel the power of the totem in your hands.. It’s enormous.

I have to admit.. I could like the power of the totem surging through me.. It was it was amplifying my powers.. Now I believe he can destroy the humans with these… The power is just to great.

Christen ➡ I can feel it and it’s immense but my answer is still no…

Lucas ➡ You’re trying my patience little girl.. GIVE ME THE TOTEM, NOW!!!

Christen ➡ Like I said finders keepers..if you want it come and get it.. If that is you can.

Lucas ➡ Don’t get so cocky.. Our last encounter was just luck.. I’m stronger than you.

Christen ➡ We shall see.. And if I remembered correctly, I took a limb from you.. I see you haven’t Learnt your lesson..

Lucas ➡ (laughs) Oh you mean this?

Lucas showed me his amputated arm and it was back to normal… I couldn’t believe it.. Lucas didn’t have the power to heal himself to this extent and I know he’s not stupid enough to go to the witch world and seek medical attention because that will like walking into the lion’s den.

Lucas ➡ I can see the surprised look of your face.. I used Erinle’s (god of healing) amulet or rather totem to heal myself and as you can see, my arm is back. Not only I’m I powerful, but I’m also immortal as well.

Christen ➡ Nothing lives forever and I’ll start by showing you that death is real…. DIE!!!

I made the tree branches descend on Lucas but he performed some kind of dark magic that made the trees disintegrate… He made a dark matter on the palm of his hands and threw it straight at me.. I quickly moved out of the way and the thing passed right at me, it landed on a tree and I saw what the thing did, i made the tree wilt and die.. I began to wonder what kind of magic was this because I’ve never seen it before..

Christen ➡ What kind of devilish magic is this?

.

Lucas ➡ The devil’s omen.. It eats any living thing.. Anything as long as there’s life in it..

.

Christen ➡ This kind of magic shouldn’t be in existence.. You’re a curse Lucas and I’m going to end you…

.

Going all out.. I unleashed my power since I was in my domain.. I casted a spell so powerful even Lucas couldn’t stand a chance it was called “Nature’s fury”

Nature’s fury is a forbidden spell actually.. It’s a spell that works on tropic zones, like where we are now, its changes the natural orders of things turning everything in that place in poison. Water, fruits, herbs.. Anything..

So using this spell, I made the trees bigger covering them with spiky thorns and then made the branches descend on Lucas, he tried to his magic but it was all in vain.. I made the trees form a barricade around him so he would escape.. Then I summoned the insects in that area to my will, the only ones available were bees.. I made them stung Lucas all around and so hard, he began to yell in pain.. His body began to swell up really fast.. He shouted and smashed his way out of my barricade hoping to escape.. But he wasn’t fast enough.. I made a ground he stood on turn to *Quicksand *

Lucas began to sink into the soil, he tried all he could to get out, seeing he was out of options, he tried to use magic.. But before that could happen, I used a forbidden magic which only the Council were allowed to use.. It was called the *Trinity_seal*

The #Trinity_Seal is a spell that blocks a witches or wizards power for an amount of time depending on when the user sets it.. But since Only the Council could use it.. They were the only ones who could break it.. Which means Lucas is forever without magic powers unless if The Trinity seal is broken and I doubt if he’ll go to the Council.

Lucas ➡(panics) YOU B*TCH!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?

.

Christen ➡ I blocked your powers.. And the only people who could save you now is the Council..

.

Lucas ➡ WH*RE! I’LL MAKE YOU PAY! THIS ISN’T OVER.

.

Christen ➡ For you it is.. I was thinking of taking you to the Council.. But now.. All I have to do is bury you deep and make sure you never come out ever.. Not even your totems can save you this time.. So I’ll do you a favor, by bury you with them.. So long.. Bastard.

.

Lucas shouted and struggled hard to get out.. So I made the Quick sand to be more softer so he could descend quickly and deeper.. Using Sango’s totem, I summoned a powerful lightning and struck it hard on Lucas’s head.. The impact shot him deep down into the depths of the earth, after that, I made the quicksand disappear and canceled the nature’s fury spell.

After that, I stretched myself and went home.. Its been a while since I used my power this much and I’m really exhausted…. At last no more Lucas.

As I went home i went straight into my room and jumped on my bed.. I brought out Sango’s totem and examined it.. I may not know what the future holds but its best if I should get rid of this thing or better yet hide it where no one will find it.. Perhaps I should give it to Riley for safe keeping… After that, I laid down on bed and went to sleep.

The next morning, I woke up joyfully and happy.. For some reason, I was feeling good about myself..After I had taken a nice bath, and ate some food, I went straight to school.

I was hoping Riley and I could spend some Quality time together but as I came to school, I saw no sign of him.. As the hours passed, There was still no sign of Riley.. I had no phone to call him because this gadgets confuse me, that’s why I don’t possess any one. So I decided to ask his friends Khalid and Tina of his whereabouts.

Christen ➡ Excuse me? Have you both seen Riley?

.

Khalid ➡ Hey Christen.. No we haven’t..

.

Tina ➡ I tried his number but it’s not going.. Maybe he’s occupied with family issues.

Christen ➡ Okay thanks..

Maybe they were right.. I would have gone to his house but I didn’t want to through any stress, like greetings his family and all that,..

Later after lectures, I headed to the cafeteria to have something to eat.. Before I could notice anything, Rukky and her friends bumped into me.. They looked at me and laughed as for Rukky, she just brushed my shoulder and passed.

Christen ➡ Watch where you’re going. The sensible thing you could do right now is apologize.

.

Rukky ➡ See her o.. Mrs. Morality… Soon you’ll regret the day, you stole Riley from me..

Christen ➡ Is that a threat?

Rukky ➡ I don’t have time to talk to you.. Let’s go jare.

Rukky and her friends walked away laughing.. I wasn’t one to take a threat lightly.. So while nobody was looking, I summoned Ovarkt my demon servant, to see what Rukky was planning.

Rukky ➡ You.. I want you to find out what ever is in here mind.

Ovarkt ➡ You want me to enter her body?

Christen ➡ No fool. Just enter her mind.. And don’t do anything stupid..

Ovarkt ➡ You really are no fun at all.. Well, your wish is my command.

Ovarkt disappeared and I went to the cafeteria.. While I was eating in the cafeteria..Ovarkt appeared and told me what he had found out.

Ovarkt ➡ That girl had a serious grudge on you.. She visited a herbalist and got some few things..

Christen ➡ What are they?

.

Ovarkt ➡ A puppet doll, she wrote your name on it.. It seems anything that happens to that doll, also happens to you.. And she got a love potion to make Riley hers.

.

Christen ➡ Seriously? Does she think her toys could harm a witch like me? Well, looks like I have to teach that girl some manners. Okay Ovarkt.. Get out of here.

As soon as Ovarkt was out of sight.. Rukky and her friends came in.. One of them saw me and told Rukky, they went to the end of the cafeteria sitting around a table.. Luckily for me.. My sense of hearing enabled me to hear what they were about to do.. And it would seem Rukky wanted out her doll on me..

Even if she did tear the doll apart nothing would happen to me… But since she was planning to make a fool out of me, I decided to teach her once and for all, I’m not to be messed with. So I lowered my voice and chanted out this spell to reverse the curse back on her.

*Demons of Satans, Servants of darkness*

*Heed my words and turn all mischief*

After the spell, I wove my fingers straight at Rukky.. I sat back and watched what may happen next.. Within seconds.. Rukky jumped up and shouted in dismay, her clothes had torn off.. Everyone in the cafeteria saw what happened and being to laugh at her.

Seeing how the tables turned on her, she tried another attempt at the doll, twisting it’s arm.. The sound of *SNAP!!!! was heard and Rukkt shouted out loud in pain.. She had broken her arm.. Poor girl.. Her friends immediately took her out of the cafeteria to avoid further humiliation.. After they had left, I canceled out the spell so she wouldn’t do anything to herself..

After that, I left the cafeteria and went back to class… Hours later, after lectures was over, I went back home… As I passed the Iroko tree, my mind went back to Riley.. I hope he’s fine and not in some kind of trouble..

As I arrived home, I went into my room and fell on my bed.. Just when I was about to have a nap… Rose bursted into the room, laughing cynicallly as usual….. She jumped on the bed lying close to me, as she wrapped her arms around me..

Rose ➡ Christen, Christen.. How’s your day, little sis?

.

Christen ➡ I really need some space.. Can you back off a little, you’re getting too close.

.

Rose ➡ What’s wrong with sisters lying so close to each other? Besides, you look worried.. Is something wrong?

Christen ➡ No, I’m just tired, that’s all..

Rose ➡ Well, the reason why you’re all bored and all is because you don’t have fun. These useless humans sure provide a lot of entertainment for us..

Rose ➡ So.. Christen… Lucas has been asking me to fix you up with him.. I told him You’re weren’t interested.. But he was determined to try.. So are you…

Christen ➡ Hell no… I’d rather die alone than be with that snake.. Besides he won’t be bothering anyone again.

Rose ➡ What is that suppose to mean?

Christen ➡ I massacred and buried the bastard deep down into the depths.. He won’t be coming out ever..

Rose ➡ Unbelievable… You handled Lucas all alone?

Christen ➡ Yes? He wasn’t that much of an opponent.. No more Lucas.

Rose ➡ I’m surprised at you… I thought you were all that weak and lame..

Christen ➡ Thanks for the insults.. can you please leave.. I want to sleep..

As soon as Rose went out, I locked the door and stretched myself on my bed.

While I was sleeping, I had a terrible dream.. And in that dream.. Riley was killed brutally… His body was pierced with iron bars and covered in maggots and standing above his Body was Rose…

I woke up with a start sweating all over… I quickly ran out of bed and wore my casual clothes… My main objective was to get to Riley’s house…

I soon left the house and teleported to his house to check on him.. Soon I arrived at his house.. I stood at the door and took a deep long breath before knocking…

As I knocked at the door, I had to wait for some few minutes before the door opened and as the door opened.. I was Riley standing before me.. He was surprised to see me but I noticed he was in a very sad mood..

Christen ➡ Hey babe.. What’s wrong?

.

Riley ➡ Its my brother Christen.. He’s.. He’s.. dying..

.

Christen ➡ Oh no………..

.

I just couldn’t believe it.. So all that 30k was all for nothing… This baba shogun scammed me to the core.. How could I be such a fool?

Instead of hurting Christen, I ended up humiliating myself.

After school was over… My friends helped me back to my hostel, to tend to my wounds..

I grabbed the toy and wrote his name on it, after that I twisted the head so I forgot the consequences of what I was doing but to my surprise something else happened . Immediately I did that, Baba shogun shouted in pain.. His head was facing the back of his head… I shouted in horror and dropped the Toy.. Tosin too shouted in dismay and Gaby took to her heels..

Baba shogun was dead before we knew it..Since we were out of ideas on what to do… Tosin and I ran out of the place before anyone could see us..

We all arrived at the hostel minutes later.. Gaby was busy moving around the room as she lamented about Shogun’s death.

Gaby ➡ This is bad.. This is bad.. This is bad o… A man is dead.. What are we going to do?

Tosin ➡ Shut up.. We’re safe since nobody saw us… Besides it wasn’t our fault.. We thought the doll was a fake. But I’m surprised o… How comes it worked on Baba shogun.. It doesn’t make sense.. Are you sure you wrote her name well.
